A.N. Alright here we go, this is a revised version of my story Kingdom Wakfu. I originally planned on waiting till Jan 1 before uploading this first chapter but decided ya'll have been waiting lot enough for my to get my ass in gear so here you guy's go, following this I plan on keeping on update schedule and posting new chapters on the first of every month so that we I can try and keep a buffer just in case I am unable to work on my work documents every day. I believe I am currently rewriting chaper 5 out of 17 and honestly not too much is changing in these revised chapters other then the writing style and some choices that shouldn't impact the story too much.
Chapter 1
Crash Report
In Emelka the peace was disrupted with a flash of blinding light and a stranger emerging from an alley, pushing a small baby carriage. The inhabitants of the village watched the stranger with caution and contempt. Mutters of 'Orgrest Chaos' followed the stranger from the village as he looked for the one who would best protect his charge.
As he neared the edge of the village another strange flash of light filled the sky, followed by a crash deep within the woods that started at the edge of the village. The wildlife panicked and soon there were birds of all kinds taking flight out of the trees as the other wildlife raced from beneath the vegetation.

Sora slowly pushed himself to his knees with a wince at the sharp pain that came from his side and then cast a quick glance around the clearing that he found himself in. At first glance the most obvious thing was the smoking remains of their ship and the lack of his travelling friends. A quick look at himself revealed a new change of clothes that were most likely similar to those that the inhabitants of the world wore.
The most obvious was the natural greens that replaced the majority of the black that his outfit usually consisted of, the only black that seemed to remain in his entire outfit was the short sleeved hoodie that now covered a quarter sleeve forest green shirt.
A look over his shoulder revealed that Jiminy was no longer in his usual spot within Sora's hood. With that revelation Sora first turned to look for the tiny chronicler within the thick carpet of grass.
"Jiminy where are you?" Sora called out, hoping that Jiminy were close enough to hear him. Continuing his search, and calling out for the cricket, a motion in his periphery vision caught his attention and turning to get a better look he saw his friend jumping over the grass to get his attention.
"Down here Sora!"
Sora crawled closer and held his hand out to his friend to help the cricket up to his shoulder. Mentally Sora checked off one of his friends to find, leaving just Donald and Goofy, though he had a long list that always remained in the back of his head of his friends that he still needed to find.
With the small chronicler in hand Sora stood and cast another quick glance around the surrounding area. "Any idea where we are?" Behind him now lay the smoking remains of the ship and at his shoulder he heard the cricket mumbling to himself.
"Got an idea?" Sora inquired, bringing up his question to the distracted cricket again.
"Well I honestly just don't know, but I think we should really start by finding Donald and Goofy before we try to figure anything else out." The cricket stated from his shoulder. Sora nodded in agreement and began walking towards the trees towards the front of the ship. The way that he saw it, is that the impact of the crash may have sent his friends forward.
As he moved Sora checked lower to the ground, looking under the tall waist high grass while Jiminy acted as a second pair of eyes, scanning above the brush should their friends appear while Sora was looking elsewhere. As Sora was checking around some of the ships debris an unfamiliar voice called out from behind him.
"Sora, Jiminy! Where are you!?"
Upon hearing the voice Sora turned, and with Jiminy holding on for dear life, back towards the clearing where he was sure he'd heard the voice coming from.
Crashing through the brush and into the clearing Sora had just enough time to skid to a stop before he ran into a pair of strangers. Once he was over the shock of almost crashing into people it dawned on him the there was something familiar about the pair, though he couldn't actually place it.
"Sora, Jiminy, where were you?"
Sora directed his attention to the shorter of the two, trying to figure out why the two were so familiar to him when it finally dawned on him. "Wait, Donald?" His eyes grew wide taking in his friend's new appearance as he turned to the other. "Goofy?" He took in their new appearances and realized why the two were so familiar despite being unable to recognize them, their personalities and postures.
"What happened to you guys?" Taking a closer look Sora realized that goofy appeared more like a cat if the pointed ears at the top of his head were anything to go by, not to mention the long fluid tail that lazily swayed behind him.
Turning to Donald, Sora realized that his friend was now slightly taller, though he new height was still unable to make it past Sora's chest. The most bizarre feature, Sora had to pick, were the small twig like wings that that fluttered quickly in agitation at his friend's back.
"Well obviously we got new forms in this world." Donald stated as he crossed his arms over his chest. From within his hood Sora could just barely make out Jiminy muttering to himself as he filled out another entry to his journal.
"So uh, do you guys have any idea where we are?" Goofy asked as he cast a quick glance around, probably taking in the surroundings properly for the first time since he came to. Donald quickly followed his lead before shaking his head. "Don't have a clue, never heard of this world from the King, or anyone else." Donald than turned to look up at Sora, happy to think that he didn't have to look up quite as high while they were here. "Do you have any ideas?"
Sora released a disappointed sigh. "Honestly, Jiminy and I have been kind of hoping that you guys would've known." Sora crossed his arms and lowered his head as he closed his eyes to try and think of something when Jiminy came out of Sora's hood to rest on his shoulder while he provided a suggestion.
"There's bound to be a town somewhere near here, maybe we can find it and ask."
The three companions nodded in unison and turned away from the burning remains of their broken ship. Their pace picked up when a clearing appeared through the trees ahead of them. Rushing through the brush, getting closer to the clearing, they were able to make out a bridge. Though the bridge wasn't what their focus was on, rather their attention was on the elderly male with what seemed to be a baby carriage, surrounded by a group consisting of Heartless and what appeared to be short bandits.
Without a moments hesitation Sora was running to the stranger's side, calling forth the keyblade to his hand as he neared the bridge. Behind him, Sora could hear his friends running to join the fight, both of them calling their own weapons to their hands and Donald yelling out a spell before pillars of lightning appeared in a scattered circle around Sora and the stranger, successfully knocking back a number of the enemies.
"Are you okay?" Sora asked as he turned to check on the elderly male and his charge.
"Grougaloragran appreciates the boy's help, but it is un-needed." The man stated in a deep voice as well as in third person. Sora took in the man's appearance as Donald and Goofy continued fighting back the heartless and bandits.
The man's skin was a very deep brown and contrasted greatly with his white hair and solid wait eyes, eyes which stared at him almost like they saw straight through him and to his heart. The stranger was cloaked in a very dark robe with a long fur lined hood that hung down to his lower back. Not wanting to be caught staring he turned away from the male and joined his friends to beat the remaining enemies.

From where he stood, Grougaloragran watched as the three young strangers fought with their strange and peculiar weapons. As he watched them he had quickly realized that while their appearances were like the ones seen upon this world, as were their clothes, the souls that the possessed were unlike any the dragon had seen before. He was intrigued by the three and watched as they took down the remaining adversaries, taking in their fighting styles and attack patterns.
The tallest of the three attacked with a rounded shield, knocking enemies back and throwing the shield at far away targets, knocking a number of them down from a distance. Taking in the tall one's appearance Grougaloragran could only think of an Ecaflip, but there was nothing of an Ecaflip, in truth the fighting style was something all their own.
The second one that Grougaloragran fully observed was the shortest of the three. They had the appearance of an Eniripsa, as well as the spells, and thus it was the shortest that confused him the most. How could someone be the very essence of an Eniripsa and yet still not be from this world? Yet still his soul told him enough to know that there was something off and it was something that he'd ever seen in all his years.
Then he looked at the final strange, the one that had stopped to check on him. Out of all of them, his weapon of choice was a strange in shape, it appeared to be a blade but with a key like shape, but his clothes lead Grougaloragran to believe that the boy was a Cra so he should've been wielding a bow. From the boy's soul though Grougaloragran could tell that the boy had a caring heart and a surplus of courage that allowed him to protect his friends. It was when he delved deeper that he noticed something else about the boy something that he, a dragon, couldn't explain.
Looking deeper it almost appeared that the boy's heart was housing another within it, though it was small, nothing but a fragment. Along with the second fragment of a soul there was also something dark, something that clouded and almost concealed the boy's heart and soul. As he thought about it Grougaloragran thought that if it weren't for the strong light within the boy's heart that he would've been lost to the dark long ago.
It was a strange sight for the dragon and he tried to piece it together as he watched the three continue fighting. Than within minutes the strange group of three defeated the remaining enemies and a mechanical like voice with an echo like quality called out.
"Bravo! Impressive!"

Getting rid of the heartless and bandits was surprisingly easy and when the final enemy was defeated a voice called out from the far side of the bridge. In unison the three turned towards the bridge and watched as someone stepped out of hiding. "It didn't take you long to take care of my underlings." The male said. Sora tried to get a look at the new strangers face but the large hat he was wearing concealed a majority of his head, making it close to impossible to see anything.
"However, looks can be deceiving." The stranger said as he vanished without warning and reappeared seconds later standing now before the elderly man.
"You wouldn't think it by looking at me, but," he continued as Sora and his friends ran towards the two and surrounded the stranger, ready to fight should they display any ill intentions. Ignoring the three, as though he didn't even realize he was surrounded the stranger continued. "in spite of my size I actually have a very intense appetite for Wakfu, this in the end leaves me no choice but to devour it from anything that I encounter."
Wakfu, what was the man talking about? The three tuned out the rest of the strangers speech as they tried to make sense of what the man was talking about. Then taking them out of their thoughts, the deep voice of the elderly male interrupted the stranger.
"You had best be on your way Xelor, or you will taste the wrath of Grougaloragran." Then he turned and walked past the three friends as though they weren't there. Behind them the stranger addressed as 'Xelor' began speaking to himself under his breath before yelling out as though in a fit of rage, drawing the attention of Sora and his friends back to him.
"You will show me what you are old man! And don't think about playing any tricks or I'll take the pleasure of crushing you and your little protectors like worthless insects!"
Beside him Donald was fuming, he was never on to take insults lightly, as for Goofy and himself they were watching as 'Xelor' created a sword, seemingly from nothing, that resembled the large hand of a clock. 'Xelor' pointed the tip of the blade towards the three companions, though it was clear he was actually pointing the blade towards the old man and his mysterious charge.
The three companions turned, curious as to how the man too the threat, and were surprised as the man practically pushed the baby carriage vertically into the air. Then they watched in awe as the baby carriage remained in the air, suspended by a strange mist that had appeared beneath it. Behind them the stranger began muttering to himself, quiet enough were the companions could barely catch his words.
"Truly Interesting." The three turned and had mere seconds to dodge as the stranger charged towards them, aiming towards Grougaloragran. Sora attempted to intercept the attack, leaping into the air with his keyblade held diagonally in front of himself. Before 'Xelor' could even make it to Sora the two were blown in opposite directions by an explosion that appeared below them. Then Sora was falling.
To Sora's shock before he had even landed he stopped, frozen in midair, and no matter what he tried he was completely unable to move. Sora had tried to turn his head to check on his friends but even that simple task was impossible. Then 'Xelor' was in front of him, their masked face mere inches away from his almost with an air of curiosity. Sora stared back at the stranger, unable to do anything else, and watched as the man cast a glance down towards where Sora could only assume his friends where held by the same power that held him.
Sora's struggle against the invisible bonds that held him continued as the man before him almost seemed to completely ignore him as he seemed to think something over silently. As though solving some problem that had eluded him 'Xelor' clapped his hands together and then spoke in a low voice so that even Sora struggled hearing him, despite the proximity that 'Xelor' had with him.
"Perfect time to test my powers."
Soon after the words were spoken a strange light appeared around Sora, the same light appeared around his friends below and then what seemed to be a clock appeared in front of the three separately. Sora noticed that the hands of the clock were moving forward at a rapid speed, than without warning and in a large flash of light Sora and his two friends below disappeared.
Then 'Xelor', with the three out of his way, moved to summon his sword and finish off the old man below. He thrust the blade towards the male's face but just before it could reach the old man, his eyes widened and within the span of a blink he dodged the attack and jumped to the side.
"Where did you send the boys?!" the man demanded. 'Xelor' jumped back, away from the man and ignoring the question as he exclaimed. "My time magic doesn't work on him?!" He then formed his hands into the gesture that would once again freeze time but before the spell could be completed he was interrupted by a giant burst of fire that erupted in his direction and knocked him back, also destroying the bridge that he had been standing on.
The man released whatever magic had been suspending the baby carriage in the air and retrieved it before turning his back on the charred remains of the battle behind him.
Behind him, crawling out from under the charred remains of the destroyed bridge, the 'Xelor' stared at the retreating back of the elderly man and his charge. As a gust of wind blew through, causing the mans robes to flare out, his eyes widened with a sudden realization.
"A dragon!" He gasped, pulling himself further onto what remained of the wooden bridge. "It really was a dragon, the greatest source of Wakfu in the world." The now revealed dragon heard none of the Xelor's excited muttering as he continued on his way with his mysterious charge.
