A.N. So for those that have read the story from the start you may have noticed that I removed the original chapter six that was mainly just filler and contained a bunch of OCs. I felt it wasn't fully needed any more since it was mainly how Sora, Donald, and Goofy got their clothing that helped them match the world. I also decided that rather than juggling a bunch of OCs that I would omit them from this revision and focus mainly on the plot seen in the show.

Chapter 6

Not So Normal Shopping Trip

After arriving at the Zapp Portal Sora, Donald, and Goofy all watched as the others walked casually though the glowing blue gate before following their lead and stepping though as well, Sora still sporting a slight limp as he and Donald deemed the injury not severe enough to warrant the use of magic to heal. Upon stepping out on the other side it was clear that they were in a whole new area as the forest that once lay behind them was no longer in sight.

Once the strange trio was through the portal Eva turned. "So, is there anything else you haven't told us?" She demanded with her arms crossed and a glare set in her eyes.

Amalia was quick to jump in and defend the three, one of which was still limping due to Eva's arrow. "Eva, surely you understand that without them we never would've beat those Heartless things." The princess and her guard seemed to hold a silent conversation after that.

Eva turned her gaze away as Sora shifted his weight before she sighed and turned back to Amalia "Yes you are right, princess."

Amalia huffed at the title stomping her foot. "Eva, you must stop calling me princess." She crossed her arms in front of her and glared. "While we are on this journey you and I are nothing but good friends and you will address me as Amalia only."

Eva could immediately tell by Amalia's tone of voice that she wouldn't take a no for an answer so with a sigh the Cra relented to the ways of the princess. "Yes, of course," there was a slight pause before Eva added quietly, "Amalia."

After that was done the group was quick to make their way towards the market that Eva briefly mentioned after leaving Emelka and crossing through the ZAPP. As they neared it Sora decided that it didn't look much like the markets he's seen in Hollow Bastion or Twilight Town, if anything it looked more like a very scaled down version of the bazaar found in Agraba. At the thought Sora gave a chuckle remembering the shenanigans that Aladdin and Abu would pull in the large bazaar.

The group made their way towards the small market and entered by walking between two of the simple stalls. "Alright, so the first order of business is to find a map." Eva explained as she started approaching one of the stalls. "Sorry but you'll need to buy it yourself," Ruel stated with an eye roll and a shrug. Eva turned to the Enutrof with a glare as he continued, completely ignoring the look being directed at him. "My purse is as bare as a carrot field on Wabbit Island."

From Sora's left Amalia let out a laugh. "Spent all of your kamas on that wonderful outfit of yours huh?" Amalia's laugh grew louder as she laughed at her own joke. Then with no warning her laugh sounded as though it took on the characteristics of an old throaty cackle. Yugo turned from what he was staring at in the stall to look at the princess.

"Heh, Amalia you sound like a bwork." Amalia's laughing had immediately stopped and she threw down her hands in a fit of anger.

"That. Was not. Me!" Amalia yelled out in frustration, then as though to prove her point the throaty cackle rang once again through the air, drawing the attention of everyone towards the sky. The vendor of the stall behind them yelled out in horror as he turned his attention to the sky as well.

"It's the Black Crow!" At the shout all the vendors within the area ducked into the cover of their stalls while also closing them with either fabric or boards. The group ran towards a large rock that sat at the side of the market for cover. Eva and Percedal were quick to jump back out of cover and stand in ready positions to fight off this new adversary, Yugo following one step behind them. Sora raced towards the stalls, intending to help the vendors to better cover, with Donald yelling about Sora being stupid before following behind him with Goofy taking up the rear.

By the time the trio reached the first stall the Black Crow had already destroyed some of the small shops with the use of his Sora turned to locate the Black Crow he watched as the stranger enemy pointed towards one of the few remaining shops, sending out a large swarm of small crows that were similar to his in all but size.

The trio managed to get the last vendor to safety just as the swarm attacked the small shop, taking it down within seconds.

After getting the last vendor to safety Sora turned to watch as the Black Crow fled due to the miscalculations that led to a failed attack. The vendors were quick to scatter and leave the small market, though the group managed to catch one before he left as well and were able to ask about where they may be able to purchase a map.

Almost reluctantly the vendor pointed in the direction of Kabrock's Shop, explaining that it was one of the only shops the Black Crow hasn't attacked yet, mostly due to the fact that it had been constructed underground. The group follows the directions and find themselves in a field practically overflowing with sign's all pointing them towards the underground shop.

"At least we know we're heading the right way." Yugo joked as the group neared the door.

When they finally reached the front door they found a strange device that was most likely a means to alert the owners of the shop to the arrival of guests. Yugo most likely suspected as much and grabbed a hold of the device before yelling into it.

"HELLO! Anyone Home!?" There didn't seem to be any verbal reply but someone must have heard Yugo yelling because as soon as he was done the door to the side quietly pushed open. Slowly the group entered the strange shop, as soon as they were all past the threshold the door was shut by some invisible force behind them.

A female, similar in appearance to Goofy, came out of a back room wearing a fine red gown as well as an overly friendly smile, one that was clearly fake. She eyed the guests of her shop before yelling for 'Kabrock', emerging from the same back room that she had appeared from came a blue skinned male walking with his shoulders slouched, the exact opposite of his feminine partner. As he entered she introduced herself as Miranda, Kabrock's wife and co-owner of their fine establishment.

As she finished their introductions she whistled and a strange creature appeared first at Miranda's feet and somehow zipped up her figure before placing itself gently into her hand. Upon the creature's sudden appearance Ruel let out a yelp of surprise and landed backwards into an open barrel behind him. While she explained the rest of her explanation Ruel struggled to pull himself out of the unlikely trap.

"I'm sure you understand but we make sure to put all potential customers through a little test, just to ensure that Kama-less individuals don't waste our time when we are both already very busy." She let the creature, something she called a Schnuffle, go and it quickly made its way between everyone in the group. It made quick work sniffing at Yugo, Percidal, and Amalia; each receiving an angry scowl from the creature.

It went towards Eva and gave a light shake of its tail, something Sora assumed alerted the owners to Kamas on the specific person. With the first four done it went to Ruel, who was still struggling to remove himself from the barrel he had landed in. "The Schnuffle isn't actually going to smell Ruel is it?" Amalia asked as the creature in question climbed up onto the barrel and placed itself in the Enutrof's lap.

Completely ignoring Amalia's question the Schnuffle made quick work of searching for Kamas. It jumped on Ruel's lap in excitement, knocking the Enutrof back into the barrel, and rang the bell on its tail widely indicating a larger sum of Kama's on him then what it had discovered on Eva.

Miranda smiled and turned to Sora and his friends who up to this point watched the interaction with wide eyed curiosity.

"Oh Schnuffle dear, don't forget those three." She called in a sing-song tone of voice. The Schnuffle turned its attention from the one that smelled of kamas to the three its master had indicated. With little trouble it left Ruel's lap and zipped its way across the floor to Sora and his friends.

It started its search at the feet of Donald and Goofy, wasting little time when it didn't pick up anything that smelled of kamas off the first two. Then its attention turned to Sora, just like the others it approached and sniffed at his feet. Unlike the others it froze, tail going lip and head lifting before pawing at its own nose.

Everyone looked to the Schnuffle in shock and then Sora looked back to Miranda. He scratched at the back of his neck nervously. "I ah- I think I broke your pet." Sora said, ending up breaking the spell that lay over them Miranda stomped to where the teen stood.

She stooped down and picked up the completely disoriented pet, all while glaring at Sora, and then standing back up "Empty out your pockets." She all but growled as her pet seemed to finally be shaking off whatever had happened to it.

When reaching into his pockets Sora pulled out the first thing his hands touched. This ended up being the beaded pouch that he had received from King Mickey before he left them outside the train station in Twilight Town. Figuring, that if anything, it was the Munny that was held inside that made the Schnuffle act strangely he held it out for Miranda. Though thinking about it further there was also a chance that it was the potions and ethers that he always kept on hand.

Everyone looked that the small beaded pouch with uncertainty, when it was clear that Miranda wasn't going to take it Sora pulled it back to his body, opened it up and poured out some of the contents. Though he was careful to ensure the small blue gem stayed safely within its fabric confines, something in him not allowing those around him to see it. With a bit of Munny now held in his hand he extended it out again to those that were watching him.

"What is that?" Miranda asked, while Eva walked over and inspected the pieces that Sora held. They honestly didn't look like much, sure they were shiny but there were varying sizes and nothing, other than their shine, marked them as anything with value.

"This is Munny" Sora stated, not sure what else he could say that wouldn't mess with the World Order. When it seemed that everyone was done investigating what he held in his hand he placed it back into the pouch that he held before placing that back in his pocket.

Eva quirked an eyebrow as she reached into her own pocket. "I don't know where you are from but this is money." She pulled her hand from her pocket and held out a few golden coins that were marked with a 'K' in the center of both sides "And it isn't called money they're called Kamas." She explained as she placed the Kamas back into her pocket.

During the explanation Sora and Goofy noticed Donald eyeing the golden coins that the Cra held, both already able to see the greedy side of their friend showing in his eyes.

As Eva put her coins back the others finally dispersed around the store and started looking around at all of the items available for sale.

"Well you guys seem to have it covered here, Donald, Goofy, and I are going to head back and see if we can't help some of the vendors at the market." Donald and Goofy both cast Sora the same confused expression, but dropped it when they saw the look in his eyes.

"Yeah, we'll meet you guys there." Donald said as Goofy added "Meet us there when ya finish up in here."

Together the three companions left the underground shop as the rest of the group made quick work of asking for the different items that they wanted to see.

Once the three companions left the shop and the door closed behind them they started the trip back to the small market and discussed whether they should risk it and tell the others the truth. By the time they had reached the edge of their destination it was decided that they would tell them if anything came up or if it was absolutely necessary, whichever came first.

In the time that it took the others to finish their shopping in Kabrock's shop and returned to the market Sora, Donald, and Goofy were able to help repair three of the wooden stalls. When the others joined them they explained the situation as well as their plan and within five minutes Ruel had a stall of his own standing at the edge of the market.

After an initially rough grand opening it only took a few threatening words from Eva before Ruel began ringing his bell and yelling out the chant that Eva had directed him to say. Within moments of Ruel playing his role the Black Crow appeared with his harsh call. At his appearance the group appeared from behind the stall and Yugo stalled their enemy before he had a chance to say anything.

"Before you go into your whole rant thing I just have one question." Yugo said, stopping the Black Crow in his tracks as he stared down at the young boy. "Why do you call yourself the Black Crow?"

Their adversary seemed to freeze further at the questions before shaking himself out of the initial confusion. He puffed his chest out, almost seeming to try and make himself bigger than he already was. "I call myself such to stress my evil side and invoke fear into all who hear the name, much like the bl-"

Then before he could try to start his usual rant everyone started listing off a dozen different names that their mounted adversary could've used instead of the one he went with.

As their group continued their taunting and interrupting, Sora noticed the growing anger in the Black Crow. It almost seemed to be emanating from him in thick dark waves, the sight of which made Sora remember where he had seen them before.

"ENOUGH!" A force blew past them all at the Black Crows angered yell. "I was fine simply destroying and letting the stupid Enutrof go but now I'm going to ensure that you never meddle again." The dark waves that were once emanating from the Black Crow were now coming from the ground around them as the Black Crow swooped one final time and grabbed ahold of Ruel by the back of his shirt. "While those creatures keep your friends busy, you will be coming with me."

Just as he said that a few dozen heartless appearred around them, halting any efforts they may have made to go after Ruel. Sora turned to Eva and the others, keyblade flashing into his hand. "Uh… I don't think this was a part of your plan." His question went unnoticed as Eva fired an arrow at a Heartless blocking her path and move a few steps after the Black Crow and Ruel before more Heartless appeared and took the first ones place.

"We have to clear these things out so we can get Ruel back." Eva said as the heartless started closing in.

"Do we really have to save him?" Amalia asked as she sent out a thick vine that wrapped around two of the heartless that were coming in on the side.

As they were working to clear out the Heartless Yugo portaled out of the battle, and when Sora thought about it the youngest in their group had been heading towards Kabrock's shop. When they finished clearing out the heartless Sora explained where he saw Yugo heading and just as the shop came into view Yugo dropped from a portal in front of them with the Schnuffle held in his arms.

The blue elephant creature seemed almost disoriented after its trip through the portal.

"Sorry for leaving you guys but I thought if this thing can smell Kamas, and since it seemed to smell a lot of Kamas on Ruel, we could use it to track him down." Yugo explained as he placed the Schnuffle on the ground.

"Yugo that's an amazing plan!" Percedal exclaimed as Eva pulled a Kama out of her back pocket. "It's amazing that Miranda was even willing to let us use her pet for this." Amalia said as Eva knelt down and held the Kama in front of the pets face.

"That's the thing though.." Yugo laughed nervously as the Schnuffle caught wind of the Kama and perked up. "She technically doesn't know that we're borrowing it." He explained as the Schnuffle started sniffing at the ground already working on the task it was kidnapped into.

Sora laughed, much to the surprise of the others, as he thought back to the island and all the times that he, Riku, or Kairi would take stuff from their homes without asking with the intent of bringing it back without being noticed.

"Well, we'll just have to hope we get it back home before she notices." He heard Eva say from the side which just made his laughing worse as she seemed to have read his thoughts. He had a moment to compose himself before the Schnuffle ran off like a blizzaga shot, hopefully towards Ruel, and the group ran to keep up with it.

As they ran Sora thought about the possibility of using one of the two drive forms he had on hand at the moment. While he was aware of how much strain it put on his friends, making it so they were unable to fight, with the distance that their enemy kept, it may end up giving them the upper hand. In front of them the Schnufflewas starting an ascent up the mountain edge, luckily there was a worn-down path along the side that they would be able to traverse safely along.

As they past through a patch of low hanging clouds they realized they reached the top when they saw Ruel standing beside Kabrock who was wearing the same clothes that the Black Crow had been wearing. Sora and his two companions had been able to put the pieces together but as Yugo spoke up they realized the others may not have caught onto the truth yet.

"Ruel, Kabrock!" Yugo shouted as he portalled next to the two. "Where's the Black Crow?" He asked as he looked around and peered over the cliff's edge.

Ruel ended up answering and explain what Kabrock must've explained to him. Then Kabrock explained in his own words and while it was a sign of a good heart to do such deeds for his wife's happiness and their business, he ended up going a not so good route. By the time Kabrock had finished explaining his mask had been placed back over his face and he'd returned to his mount before bring both of them over the edge.

Before any of them could go to make sure he was okay he reappeared, flying above the group. The force of the wind caused by his mounts flapping wings threatened to push them back off the opposite ledge.

"If you want this map, you'll have to defeat me to get it!" He shouted over the beating wings of his mount that continued pushing them back and as the distance between them grew Sora realized he would need the help of his friends' power.

Looking around the flattened mountain top for his friends he found Donald's altered form closest to him and moved. "Donald!" He shouted over the winds as he friend called forth the lightning to strike at their opponent.

Donald turned and understanding shone in his eyes, between the two drive forms he had available only one of them could muster the distance to do any real damage in the current fight.

Donald met him halfway and the feeling was immediate as his friend's power passed into him. A bright flash of white enveloped the battle field, distracting both sides of the fight as it blinded all those present. When the light subsided everyone not aware of what happened turned to the source and found Sora standing over his friend, who was kneeling due to the sudden loss of strength.

Though looking closer it was clear his feet were no longer resting on the ground and he actually appeared to be hovering an inch or two above the loose rocks, his feet adjusting every few seconds or so as he adjusted his balance to keep upright. Held loosely in his hand was a new Keyblade that he and his two companions had never seen before. And his outfit had changed from the green stitched appearance or a Cra to a blue scheme and similar appearance to an Eniripsa like Donald.

Sora, used to the change that came with the drive forms, immediately turned his attention to the battle, at least aware of Goofy running to Donald's side to cover their friend until the drive form timed out.

"Yugo, Amalia, Eva help me get the Black Crow to the ground so that Percidal, Ruel, and Goofy can attack him and his mount." Sora directed, bringing the groups attention away from his changed appearance and back to the fight. As she turned back to the fight Eva made a note to herself to demand that the three tell them where they came from, but it would have to wait till the fight was done.

As Sora began gliding along the battle field, weaving around and between the others in their group, shots emanated from the tip of his keyblade. Yugo following Sora's directions, activated a number of portals that allowed Eva and Amalia to give the two of them more opportunities and directions to hit their adversary with their arrows and doll.

With the range of attacks hitting from multiple directions it took little time before the mount and its rider fell from the air and landed with a crash onto the flat mountain top. With the easier access Percedal, Ruel, and Goofy (now that their enemy was down and the threat of Donald being hit was gone for the time being) raced forward to attack the mount to keep it down for as long as possible.

Percedal, Ruel, and Goofy started an onslaught of attacks on the right wing while Eva froze the left wing to extend the amount of time that their enemy was grounded. Ignoring his mount while it was stuck, Kabrock stood and sent a swarm of small crows towards his adversaries, but his situation was getting dire, the merchant was rushed and missing many of the shots he took.

Finally he put two of his fingers to his mouth and whistled; the whistle surprised the group and distracted them from their attacks momentarily allowing him the chance to reawaken his mount with a force of dark force that rose from the beast in the form of dark flames. The beast broke its wing free from the ice that restrained it and the two took off down the side of the mountain before reappearing high enough where they were unable to hit it without more ranged attacks.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy glared at their adversary, well aware of what the dark flames meant, while their companions jolted and stared in shock. It was during this time that the extra power Sora had received from his friend ran out and in a flash Sora stood in the outfit he wore when first arriving here. With the power returned Donald was able to jump back to his feet and the two companions joined the larger group once again.

Donald was quick to call out Fira from where he now stood, and the ball of flame hitting their opponent knocked everyone else out of their shock. Eva started launching arrows, Amalia worked to summon vines long enough and strong enough to pull Kabrock back towards them. Goofy threw his shield and it ricocheted back to his hands.

Sora watched as Yugo summoned portals to unleash a borage of attacks upon their air-born adversary. "Yugo!" Sora called to the young boy, who in turn took his attention away from the fight and brought it to the strange teen. "Think you can get me up there?" Sora asked once he got the boys attention.

Yugo thought over the request for a moment before nodding his head and taking down his two current portals before setting up two new ones for Sora. Sora ran to the first portal, diving into it and finding himself falling directly above the mounted merchant. During his decent Sora angled himself towards the right wing of the mount.

He grabbed ahold of the strange feather-like material that covered the metal frame. With the added weight on one of the wings the mount lost balance and started falling in a spiral motion. Kabrock realizing what was happening turned to Sora, his weapon held at the ready to remove the pest and stop their plummet. As Sora gripped tighter and braced for an attack Kabrock suddenly screamed out in pain.

After Sora opened his eyes he found that Kabrock now had one of Eva's arrows pierced through his shoulder and his attack had instead been released towards the sky. Just as they were about to crash into the mountain top Sora released his hold on the wing and pushed off, rolling away as the mount and its rider crashed to the hard rock.

Sora stood and approached the merchant, looking down at him as he pointed the tip of his new keyblade down at him. "We'll be taking the map now."

Kabrock made no move to fight as he removed the map from where he was keeping it and held it out. "A deal is a deal, and you beat me fair and square." he replied as Eva took the map from the extended hand. With the map gone and his hand free Kabrock pushed himself to his feet and made it way to the edge, sitting and overlooking the land below them.

Sora ignored the group leaving as he turned to watch Yugo make his way towards the defeated merchant. The two sat and whatever words were passed between the two went unheard due to the distance and their volume. Behind him he could hear the raised volume of Miranda as she marched her way up the mountain, yelling at the group for taking her precious schnuffle.

After Miranda reached the top Sora stepped to the side as she approached her husband, Yugo leaving him be as their conversation finished and he ran ahead of Sora to catch up to the group.

As Sora followed behind he listened as Percedal tried to get the map to show them how to get to a place called Oma. Amalia slowed her steps until she fell into line with Sora and examined the new appearance to his weapon that he hadn't put away yet.

"You know, it looks a lot more like a Cra's bow, fits your look a bit better now." Sora hummed in acknowledgement as they continued, trailing behind the group with Amalia in a comfortable silence.
