With her work as a healer and her duties in the Citadel left nearly unaltered, things feel as familiarly quiet as ever. Yet, oftentimes the occurrences that touch one's life are rather unassuming.

There were many happy occurrences when the War was finally over; alliances were made, marriages celebrated, and Realms rebuilt. But not everyone had a happy ending. Love cannot mend all things, cannot give everyone the future they crave or even deserve. Duty to the homeland comes above all else for many in Middle Earth. For two in particular, this was a bitter reality.

Over the years, a rider of Rohan and a lady of Dol Amroth endured many trials, and they did not emerge unhurt in mind and spirit. But the Houses of Healings in Minas Tirith is indeed a blessed place and so aptly named.
