Curuaras, a presumed Noldor elf, awakes in a small human village with no memory of anything other than a name. The family who found him is very kind, but he just wants to get home-where ever home is. And as danger lurks around the corner, will Curuaras be a help to this village, or a hinderance? And will he regain his memories?

This is a story about how the choices we take dictate our paths in life. If those choices have led to happiness then we can bath in light but if it led to despair and pain, we need to accept the retribution.

Villains are cruel and evil, it is true. They wreak pain and death and destruction. But all villains were loved once. (I wrote this fanficiton in 5th grade for a Literature class, so it isn't as good as it could be. So bear with me, please)

I own nothing and I know my writing stinks compared to the books and movies. But I do my best.

Merry Brandybuck finds himself growing closer with the Lady Éowyn after the battle of the Pelennor Fields. Canon divergence, with a mix of the 'Merry knew Éowyn was disguised as a male soldier' scenario from the film adaptation of ROTK and smaller aspects of the book. Professor Tolkien gives very little detail about Eomer's life before LOTR, so I decided to make up my own version of what his early life might have been like: pre-birth through to the beginning of the War of the Ring. There are lots of familiar names, plus a few original characters, but it is as close to canon as I can make it. Rated T for violence and mild suggestive themes.
