I used to be an archangel and a saint. No, I was named after archangel, as well as a saint, I knew I could never be as holy, or fantastical, or zealous as they were, but I tried, and when burnout caught up with me, the zeal that had driven me became regret that I had spent what little time I had on a lie, a lie so large it ran the world. I knew my time was limited ...just, I didn't know what little time it was. I went from archangel and saint to devil and anti-christ. However miniscule my actions seemed, to The [Prophet], they were massive, and could not be allowed. So to keep the lie alive and the world in their hands, the devil was crucified.

My whole body ached, though I could hardly feel it anymore, I had been on the cross for I don't even how long, most of the crowd had left by this point having left for bed, The sun had been gone for at least a couple hours now, and curfew was seven, but that was for normal days, today was Rejoice Day, meaning curfew was at five, but that didn't mean there weren't people out, there was, of course, a [Prophet's] Scythe standing watch, an occasional construction worker, The Elders, and, I shuddered as a cold breeze, one not of wind, but of pure terror, blew against me, The [Prophet].

The [Prophet] was... The [Prophet] is dangerous, hateful, a lunatic in all senses of the word, crazy, yet, he is the ruler, his following is as numerous as it is powerful, I was the last opposition to him, and in that regard I was minor. I tried to focus on him, as soon as I looked away he would do... something... my vision, though already dark and blurry, grew even more so... Something moved, not something, someone, it walked closer to me, until I recognized it's face, The [Prophet], I was wrong to think the shape human, this was a monster. I watched, disgusted, as it drew closer and its sickening face warped into a hateful smile, as it took a dagger and stabbed it through my chest with a sickening crunch, yet, I felt no pain, I just grew number and number, and as my vision slowly faded, I knew, I was a dead man.

...Bet that pissed some of you off, in which case, cry about it, my story, I'll write it how I want to.

"What?" I said, but it was too late, the text was gone, and my body flared up with feeling. How long had it been since I could feel? Not all feeling is good, I suddenly remembered as my senses overflowed with a barrage of agony, everywhere hurt, I felt a fist connect with my face, "OW, stop, stop, STOP." Despite my cries to stop, whoever was hitting me didn't stop, I felt them hitting me, my vision turning red and the moon shining directly above my attackers, making them appear as silhouettes, until my vision grew dark, and I dangerously slipped into unconsciousness, the last things I heard being, "Demon" and "Die". What did I do to deserve this?

I woke up, and my head felt like it was split open and I'm in bed, it's not a hospital bed(as far as I can tell) and if it was, no-one came so I obviously am not priority, I got up and I was injury free, except the headache, I had an excruciatingly bad headache. To have healed so fast I'd have to have ultra-fast regeneration, or I've been in a coma for weeks, hope it's the former, not the latter.

Whatever option it was, I was hungry, and I wasn't gonna sit here and suffer. I searched the building, and found that it had already bee ravaged, no food or money in sight. 'It's fine, I've hunted before' I thought. 'What could the difference be?' I thought.

Warning: The area you are entering is dangerous.

Do you want to disable notifications like these?^(The warning is an example)

Yes/No

'Sure.' In hindsight: What a stupid decision...

OK

I stepped out of the ruins I woke up in and was greeted by an abandoned neighborhood. Had I been kidnapped? If they did had they left me for dead, forgot about me, or just forgot to secure me? Never the less, I scouted the area for any potential weapons, or potential food, finding none, guess my hands will do then...

A rabbit! Awesome, this won't be a struggle... at... all... That thing's huge, the largest rabbits rabbits I'd ever seen were like person sized, this monstrosity is 30 feet long and... rapidly heading my way! Crap, crap, crap, what should I do? What should I do? I fight it, I've killed things bigger than me before, I can do this... "CRAP!" I exclaimed as the bunny rammed into me. "OW, OW, ow," *sigh* "At least I'm not dead." I got up and hid in the underbrush, that HURT.

I had been hiding for a while, and there were two things I noticed, one the bunny had TEETH, not normal teeth, but a like a damn leech's teeth, and two, there was a rusty blade next to me, so I took it as quietly as possible and tried to get back to the empty streets, keyword being tried to the freaky bunny thing intercepted me. Its eyes were yellow, and you could see its veins through its abnormally pale skin, all that remained of its fur were intermittent patches that were desolately sparse, this thing looked crazy, and maybe it was, but for all sakes and purposes, it attacked me first, and I would not let this sickly, mangled thing live to see tomorrow.

It rushed at me jaw wide, and teeth red, I jumped to the side, it turned around and rushed at me again, and again, and again, it gradually slowed down, but so did I, I thought it was tired so I went in for the kill, I slowly approached it, it made no response, I went closer, still no response, until I was 5 feet away from it. It made a sadistic grin and ran at me, I froze, it rammed into me, knocking me to the ground, by the time it stopped, it was 20 feet away, I sat up and turned toward it, it was running toward me, this time, I didn't freeze, but stood up, stared it in the eyes, watching as it ran at me, it's last mistake, I took the blade, and ran toward it, faster than I ever had, my vision became tunneled and red, the ground was red, my hands are red, and I can taste iron, yet the blade is still in my hand and the the bunny grows even more mangled and looks more sickly than when it first ran at me.

I heard a loud squeal, I looked around for the source and saw another bunny, however this one appeared healthy, so I could eat it, if I was hungry earlier, I'm starving now. With food on my mind an prey in front of me, there's only one logical answer, feast. I ran at it, surprising it, I chased as it ran, eventually, it had to take a break, and that was the moment I took my chance. It thought it had gotten away, I was right next to it the entire time, and as I quietly pulled out my blade and jumped on it, this rabbit met a quick, yet painful death.

I didn't have the patience nor materials to make a fire, so I ate the rabbit raw, or, at least part of it. With my stomach full, and not being in danger, the adrenaline wore of and my body ached, but more importantly I noticed the text that covered half my view, mostly around my peripheral vision, they were akin to pop-up ads, except they were labeled notifications, one stated: You Leveled Up 8 Times: L3 to L11. Another said: Defeated Monster: You defeated a Diseased Bunny, you obtained 50 XP, A Diseased Coat, Rotting Meat, 2 Bloody Teeth. One more reported: Necessary Threshold Limit Surpassed: You have obtained/leveled up the skill(s): Plague Resistance LV6, Running LV8, Adrenaline LV2, Dagger-Fighting LV3, Hunting LV5, Over-Eating L4V, Camouflage LV2, Endurance LV3, Speed LV5, etc.(Focus here to see full list). The last one of note declared: Available Skill Points: You have 100 skill points you can spend them on: Transformation, Invisibility, Accelerated Thoughts, Detection, or Teleportation. Or you could spend them to upgrade existing skills.

"Teleportation sounds awesome, I'd like to get that." Spend 100 skill points to get Teleportation? "Yes"

"Yo, Kimyo*, who are you talking to?"

At first it was a normal day, something did seem a little off, but I thought it was nothing until the teacher, Iruka, noted his absence, of course the he I'm talking about is Mishiranu, Mishiranu** was often late, so at first, no-one thought anything of it, until he didn't show up for lunch, and Sakura, who had also been missing that day, ran in and said that she saw him fighting a giant bunny, of course, no-one believed her, she was just attention seeking, as usual, and everyone thought that... Except Iruka, he was always looking out for Mishiranu, who had recently been moved to an apartment in a relatively underpopulated district, the most important thing was that this was near The Forest of Death, which was infamous for its deadly creatures...

*Kimyo is Japanese for Strange and Curious

**Mishiranu is Japanese for Unknown, Strange, Unfamiliar, Secluded, and Hidden

I got this through google, I can't speak Japanese(unfortunately)
