It has been many years since the Fellowship of the Ring broke up. The Darkness left Middle-Earth completely, and the age of men came, the dwarves and hobbits were forgotten as a beautiful legend, and most of the elves had long since sailed to Valinor. And yet, as one brave young man will have to find out, not all the magic has disappeared.

Mirkwood is in a panic. Their only prince is missing, presumed dead, and they are losing hope. As time runs short for Legolas, Aragorn is determined to do anything to find his friend, even if that means enlisting the aid of the unsuspecting assassin who did the crime.

Legolas has a very different relationship with colors and their shades. Why do red and black make him wince? Why does yellow make him smile? Pippin is interested to know.

Memories of a mother gone too young, sea-longing, and thought of the inevitable parting from friends that he holds dear leaves Legolas hurting. He tries to hide it, putting on his warrior front, but this one time, under scrutiny of the Evenstar herself, it is too much.

A witch and an elf - star-crossed lovers with a mission to save middle-earth. I do not own any of the Lord of The Rings characters. Also, the concept of Enchantment came from a book called, "Enchantment (The Channie Series)" by Charlotte Abel. I didn't have a clue how to write a witch into this fanfiction so I took some pointers from this read.

"But here, in the starlight, with friends old and new, he saw it. He saw his friend as a laughing, dancing, singing young ellon, living to bring joy all around. Aragorn realizes just how young and how old his friend is, and how much Arwen means to him.
