During the events in the Mines Of Moria, Legolas is gravely wounded trying to defend Frodo from the cave troll. Lothlorien is far and Aragorn fears for his companion's life. Frodo takes Legolas's wounding and Gandalf's death upon himself while Aragorn, knowing the pain regret and guilt can cause, attempts to comfort Frodo and explain that the events in Moria are not his fault.
