Ch 10
At Tower Bridge, the class was on a bus when suddenly there was a huge swirling storm. Heavy winds whacked against the bridge and parked cars flipped over with sparks flying.
Then everyone saw a towering Elemental of all four elements rolled into one. It was the Elemental Fusion.
"Now that is an Avengers-level threat." Beck said with an evil grin inside the bridge.
Then the class cheered as the hologram of Mysterio flew in and "blasted" at the Elemental Fusion but Harry, Ned, and MJ left since they realized they could be in danger.
"Fury, I don't see this ending well. You should get somewhere safe." Beck said.
"Appreciate your concern, but I never leave my men behind." Fury replied over the comms.
Beck grumbled in frustration after he hung up. This was just not his day.
"Beck, report." Fury said after a minute.
He had to come up with something fast.
"It's all the Elementals, they've somehow merged into something more powerful. It's drawing power from the Earth's core." Beck said hurridely.
Fury probably wouldn't buy that and Beck would have to finish his illusion fast.
And it was made even worse for him when Spider-Girl swung into the hologram.
"Do you see anything?" William Riva asked.
Beck looked into the drones' camera and there she was, webbing the drones together. How many times did he have to kill one single superhero?!
"Yeah, and I'm gonna kill her."
Meanwhile, Spider-Girl had finally connected all the webs and pressed the logo on her suit, sending out a pulse of electricity that fried all the drones in a shower of sparks.
Then the drones were sent after Spider-Girl but she lifted a car with her webs, then dropped the whole thing on the drones in a huge explosion.
The drones still flew at her but she took them out with webs, only to be blasted into cars and over the bridge with blasts from their sonic cannons.
But Spider-Girl still wasn't done yet and she went back up, used a piece of debris as a shield, flung a battery which exploded the drones and jumped up to the bridge where Beck was hiding.
"Your lies are over, Beck." she said. Suddenly, a drone blasted her back.
"You want these?" Beck asked as he showed the EDITH glasses. "Come get 'em."
Then the whole area turned dark but Spider-Girl closed her eyes and focused with her Spider-Sense.
This isn't real. You got this.
Then Spider-Girl ran right at the drones, punching them down in showers of sparks as they fired at her.
The drones behind Beck didn't fire but he ordered them to anyway and Spider-Girl flipped over the gunfire and punched them all down.
One bullet was deflected, then slammed right into Beck, taking down the con-man for good.
"You lied to me. I trusted you." Spider-Girl said angrily.
"I know." Beck gasped. "That's the most disappointing part. You're a good person, Petra. Stark was right. You do deserve them."
Beck looked like he was giving the glasses but then the Spider-Sense warned her and Petra blocked Beck's arm.
The bullet bounced off the glass as it shattered back into the real Beck, dropping him down.
After Petra had EDITH turn off the drones, she then turned back to make sure it was real.
"How could you do all of this?" Petra asked.
"You see, Petra, people need to believe. And nowadays, they'll believe anything." Beck said.
Then his eyes closed and it was finally over.
After the battle, Petra went out on a date with Harry when suddenly there was a screen showing altered footage of her killing Mysterio. But that wasn't even the worst part.
"Spider-Girl's real name is Petra Parker." Beck said in the recording.
"What the f-"
Yeah, now she had way more problems.
