Chapter 5 – A Loving Kiss

Summary – Kurt Hummel was in a horrible car accident two years ago leaving him in a coma. For those two years he is yet to wake up and has no idea of what has become of his life, with his family seeing him as offend as possible. But when an old school friend finds out and goes to see him for the first time since high school could it change everything? Could it finally be Kurt's? Wake up call.

Important Information! – Hey all! Welcome back to my fanfiction page! Or if you're new here then welcome to my fanfic page! This is a new story I had a random idea about the other day and I'm excited to write it. I'm not sure how many chapters it will be yet or were it might go but hopefully you will all like it. I have to say I did some research on Coma's and medical things but I have no idea if this will be correct or right in anyway possible so please keep that in mind when reading and don't hate me for it. It is just a story. That being said lets being and thanks again for all the support and love – Emily!

Chapter Five – A Loving Kiss

Dear, Diary?

I and David are going out together today again. Just the two of us to the zoo to see animals! , I'm really excited but also nervous as he doesn't know how I feel about him yet and I'm still not sure if he feels the same.

The only person I have told so far is Blaine and he said to just be honest and do what I think is best for me. In my head I think moving forward is best for me ; after all I really do like Dave as more than a friend but in my head my brain is telling me to slow down and not try at all as I have only ever been married to Blaine and look how that went…..

I don't know maybe I'm just overthinking things all I know at the moment is I'm going out and I plan to have a good time with my handsome friend David.

Fuck this is so weird haha

While Kurt had been writing in his book Dave had been in the kitchen cooking some breakfast. He felt good about today, Kurt had offered him out; just the two of them. That was a good sign right?

It had taken him a good hour and a half before he came downstairs to make any breakfast for them as he wanted to pick out a outfit that wowed Kurt completely.

Dave was never one for fancy clothes and Kurt always looked good and took pride in his appearance, so yes he was indeed out to impress.

In the end he had decided on a nice navy button up short sleeve top and some dark green shorts with some blue trainers to match, and added a little pride rainbow badge his father bought him at his first pride.

He brushed his hair and felt ready.

A few moments later Kurt came down wearing a little pink short sleeve top and some light tan shorts with light blue trainers and his hair perfectly styled up.

As always, Dave thought he looked perfect and smelt great ; just like strawberries.

"Moring" Kurt said smiling "You look nice" he said blushing.

Dave blushed back putting the plates of food of the table. "Thanks, you do too; I really like your top"

Kurt smiled and sat at the table "So what animals are you hoping we can see today?" he asked.

Dave giggled and joined him "Hmm I would really like to see some Monkeys, Gorillas would be cool too"

"I would like to see the penguins" Kurt smiled eating some toast.

Dave smiled back "Honestly I'm just happy I get to spend more time with you" he blushed "the two weeks is going by so fast and I just…I like getting to spend time with you more" he said blushing hard.

Kurt smiled blushing back hard "Me too. I really like being here with you, you make me feel happy and safe and your home is really lovely"

Dave thought and then took Kurt's hand gently "What….what if you didn't move out? What…..what if you just stayed?"

Kurt looked at him confused and giggled "What do you mean?"

"What if you…moved in with me – as friends of course" he said blushing harder.

Kurt had to stop himself from busting out into the world's biggest smile, he would love nothing more but…he had to take things slow right? He had to think about it more….

"Umm I think I would have to think about it first" he said sadly

Dave tried his best not to look disappointed "Of course I understand"

Kurt sore that Dave was sad and without thinking pulled him into a deep hug "But I promise I will think about it quickly"

Dave smiled hugging back and then the two washed up the plates and tea cups putting things away. After that Dave quickly feed Butterscotch and the two walked to the zoo.

It was a nice sunny day outside and it felt peaceful, they quickly got to the front door of the zoo and paid for the tickets going inside.

The first part they went through was an aquarium were they saw all sorts of sea life animals from big sharks to little seahorses that made the little children giggle and smile.

Kurt loved looking at the turtles and took photos; whiled Dave smiled and took pictures of him taking pictures of the turtles. They were already having an amazing time and walked hand in hand to the outside parts.

The first part they went over to was to see was the Lions, they were big and fluffy cleaning each other and playing with their small lion cubs.

Once again Kurt smiled taking photos whiled Dave also took some photos; of course trying to get Kurt in them as well.

They next went over to see the Gorilla's where Dave explained to Kurt why Gorillas were one of his favourite animals to see. Kurt smiled listening and took a selfie of them both next to them.

They both laughed after seeing the photo to see that one of the Gorillas had snuck his way into the background and was eating a big yellow banana.

They carried on going around seeing some animals; Giraffes , Sea lions , monkeys that almost stool Dave's wallet and some llamas that Kurt got to feed.

The last animal they had come to was Kurt's favourite the penguins. Kurt smiled watching then huddle up in pairs and play on the ice, to his excitement he even git to feed them some fish with Dave , thanks to the help of a friendly worker.

They had such an amazing day, so to finish it off nicely, Dave bought him and Kurt an ice cream each from the café and bought Kurt a penguin blush from the gift shop.

Needless to say Kurt loved it and hugged him a million times over.

"Thank you for today" Kurt said smiling "It's been so nice to just get out and forget about the coma things ; be normal" he giggled

"You're welcome" Dave said back smiling eating his ice cream "I had an amazing day, this was super fun"

"It really was" Kurt said sitting closer to him. "We should….we should hang out more, just the two of us"

Dave smiled blushing "I would like that a lot"

As he said that he dropped his ice cream all down his mouth and Kurt laughed.

"Omg only you could do that" he smiled laughing

Dave blushed laughed and tried his best to lick it away.

Kurt smiled turning to face him and gently cupped his face "And that's why I'm falling in love with you"

And before Dave had time to answer back Kurt gently pressed his lips against David's kissing him with what to him was a loving a meaning full kiss.

David smile gently cupping Kurt's head and kissed him gently back Deeping the kiss and then softly pulling away.

"Wow" Dave said blushing and smiling "That was…I"

Kurt smiled blushing and giggling wiping the ice cream off his face with a clean cloth from his pocket. "It was perfect, your perfect, and I really, really…Really like you"

Dave smiled "Well I really, really like you too. In fact I would even go as far as to say, I love you" he blushed.

Kurt smiled blushing back "I think I love you too"

The two smiled blushing sitting together in silence , when finally away two minutes or so, Kurt spook up.

"So about moving in…" he said smiling "I don't I can do it" he put

Dave tried his best not to cry "Oh okay well that's-

"I don't think I can do it without becoming your boyfriend" Kurt smirked. "If that's something you want of course and we can take it slow of course"

Dave smiled kissing him on the cheek "I would love that"

Kurt smiled taking his hand "Great, I'll get the my stuff tomorrow"

Dave smiled "So we are boyfriends now?" he said holding on to Kurt's hand walking down the road.

Kurt smiled "Yes, boyfriends"

"I like the sound of that" Dave said smiling pulling him close. R

So do I, Kurt thought to himself, but instead rested his head on Dave's shoulder smiling walking down the road to what would now become his new home.

And for the first time since his coma Kurt finally felt like everything was going to be alright again. Things were looking up.

Chris you are an writer, actor, singer and just all around great person, I hope I get to meet you one day but for now this is my little gift to you. I hope you like it if you ever see this and had a great birthday yerstday.
