This arc is going to be a bit messy. More details about that in the AN below.

But, with that said and done, please enjoy: Chameleons!

Back in U.A., the class have just finished another intense training exercise, now made worse by the fact that since they'd had to move out of the old campus grounds, they were forced to adapt to a new environment and lesser equipment, and the teachers would have to modify their lessons to adapt to this new environment as well, only making the lessons less reliable than when they were at the old U.A. grounds before and making the students resent what is happening to them even more so, but ultimately there is nothing more that the teachers and students can do in this regard.

However, when they get back to their hastily constructed dorms (an old part of the school that had been vacated to make room for the students) and look up the news, they are shocked to see a report on Spider-Man supposedly murdering someone in public. Momo and her friends, of course, don't believe this in the slightest, but the others, including Asui, are more divided on the subject, debating on whether Peter is guilty or innocent of this crime due to his status as a vigilante.

The Spider-Gang, by contrast, don't believe it for a second.

Peter, meanwhile, is horrified by the news as he sits in Adriana's office, wondering what the hell is going on and how it could've happened. Adriana, however, is already placing herself in control of the situation, ordering her contacts within the police department to get on the case immediately, and tells Peter to stay where he was for the time being, only for Peter to object. Someone was running around with his face and suit and murdering people. That gave him more than enough reason to get involved.

Besides, he had something in the works that might just help out.

Meanwhile, the Spider-Gang, in its entirety, rolls out to track down the fake Spider-Man murderer.

Meanwhile, Adriana is at the crime scene of the first murder, looking over the brutal fashion in which the victims were killed. The police officers around her all say that it was surely Spider-Man who did this, but Adriana doesn't believe it, as Peter was with her during the time of this murder, and it wasn't in his character to do so. Even then, the webbing that was used in this attack isn't dissolving like Peter's, which is biodegradable and disintegrates after an hour. Not to mention that it didn't feel like his webbing. Under the barest of touches, one could tell that Peter's webbing was synthetic, as it had an artificial touch and smell. But this stuff felt, and almost smelt… organic.

The officers ask how she knows this, and she just replies that she is the leader of S.I.L.K.. It's her job to know these things. She then begins to suspect that this is the work of one of Peter's clones.

Then, something taps her on the shoulder, but when she looks around, no one is there. Then, she hears a whisper, beckoning her into the alleyway nearby. She follows, and then sees a shimmer in the air.

Suddenly, Peter Parker appears out of thin air, wearing a new black and luminescent neon-green suit that he called his Big Time Stealth Suit.

(This is meant to highlight one of the perks of hero society when compared to Peter's old lifestyle. During his vigilante career, the only suits that Peter had was his first homemade suit and his classic costume, due to his being starved of resources and money. However, with the massive amount of resources that hero society has to play with, Peter has been able to make more additional suits, those being the Future Foundation Suit, the Spider-Armour, and the new Big Time Stealth Suit, which helps to highlight one of hero society's strengths, that being its ability to access resources and the necessary tools needed to make them.)

Peter asks how the investigation is going, and Adriana would explain what has happened, and the strange webbing that has been found didn't match the stuff that he used. Peter comments that Jessica can use organic webbing, as could Itsy Bitsy, as well as display similar powers to Peter himself on top of that, and they conclude that this is another one of Peter's stray clones at play. Adriana shoots down the possibility of it being Itsy Bitsy due to her differentiating ideology to the attacker, but when she brings up Kaine, Peter shoots that down as well, as whilst Kaine might be the more violent minded of the clones, he isn't just going to randomly murder innocent people. They both conclude that this is another clone at play.

When Peter asks if Naomasa is around, as his lie detector quirk can quickly resolve this issue. However, Adriana then points out that even Naomasa's testimony won't matter in the eyes of both pro heroes and the people. Spider-Man is already a controversial figure as it is a deeply unpopular one at that, and people will just see this latest event as proof that he deserves everything that is supposedly coming to him, no matter whether it is true or not.

Nevertheless, she does call Naomasa down to S.I.L.K.'s private headquarters anyway, and informs Spider-Man that they may have a lead. Many of these murders have been centred around a certain area, that being primarily Spider-Man's stomping grounds in and around Musufatu, but also in nearby Naruhata, where the FeatherHATS are stationed. It's not much of a lead, but they do have enough motive for it to be worth a look. Spider-Man would thank her and leave, turning himself invisible once more thanks to his new suit, and Adriana would get back to the investigation, deflecting the questions of the police officers when they ask who she was talking to.

At the same time, during her own patrol, Ochako would eventually come across someone dressed up like Spider-Man. However, it isn't the murderer, but someone just dressed up in a shoddy Spider-Man replica costume, trying to go vigilante themselves. However, the man is able to tell her that whoever this fake Spider-Man murderer is, they're targeting influential heroes and civilians with known connections to S.I.L.K.. Whoever is behind this new plot isn't just interested in completely destroy Spider-Man's name, but also trying to cripple S.I.L.K. and assassinate key political figures.

However, Ochako is forced to pull the man away from an attacker. The fake Spider-Man murderer, knife in hand. The fake Spider-Man attacks her, and Ochako is barely able to defend herself from the faker, and is disturbed by how manic said faker is. What's more, the attacker has the same super strength and speed as Peter, as well as his spider sense, which she's only able to counter and deal with due to her previous training with him. Worse yet, somehow, their attacker had webshooters, but Ochako quickly notices that the webbing is organic as it actually shoots out of the wrists and not from a device, and initially assumes that this is yet another clone, as Jessica Drew can shoot out organic webbing from her fingertips. But then, despite how much the manic attacker is trying their best to sound and act like Peter, they call their power their 'quirk', and Ochako, at this point, knows that Peter's powers themselves aren't the result of a quirk. Each clone has access to at least part of Peter's original memories, and know that their powers aren't the results of quirks as well. This isn't a clone, this is merely someone pretending to be Spider-Man.

However, they are then attacked by a third party. A woman in purple garb wielding a sickle and golden elastic straps like robes. The stranger attacks the fake Spider-Man, forcing them to retreat, and Ochako recognises the vigilante as Yuri Watanabe, though she goes by Wraith now. Ochako learns from Wraith that she has been tracking Spider-Man since the trial, and sees this as proof that Spider-Man doesn't deserve the title of hero, as she thinks that this murderer is Spider-Man himself. Ochako, meanwhile, tries to convince Wraith that this isn't the real Spider-Man that they're dealing with, but Wraith doesn't believe it, and tells Ochako to hang up the Sakura Spider garb and go live a proper life, and then leaves.

Ochako quietly remarks that she can't, as the mark on her from getting kicked out of U.A. has effectively ruined her life anyway.

Later that night, in the new U.A. grounds, Momo would consult with Hatsume in her own part of the dorm, which Mei has converted into her private lab and makeshift workshop, and the two begin their own investigation into the matter, coming to the same conclusions that Adriana had. Even more, they call Ochako over, whom has brought with her a sample of the fake Spider-Man's webbing, and they confirm that the webbing is indeed organic in origin, though they are unsure of how this faker was able to make it.

However, the three of them would be discovered by Asui, who, upon seeing them performing their own investigation, would warn them that doing such a thing is illegal, and they should leave this for the police and heroes to sort out. The three of them would be hesitant to do so, but would be forced to stop when she threatened to call the teachers on them. Ochako would leave, but not before Momo and Hatsume hand her their findings and goes to find Peter.

Back with Peter, he finds himself at the FeatherHATS main building, and sneaks inside to look for information. He doesn't find any of the FeatherHATS inside, but he does find out that the group, more specifically Miu and Yu, were looking into various heroes across the local area, specifically in Naruhata and Musufatu. It's not enough to call the cops on them, but it's something.

Then, Spider-Man finds himself under attack from Wraith, since Yuri has been tracking him for a while, and had assumed that he was there to try and kill the FeatherHATS, just like he had supposedly killed Kazuho, and then killed several others. Peter tries to reason with Yuri, tries to make it clear that it wasn't him who murdered those people, but Wraith doesn't believe him, kicking him out of the building and right into the open…

Right where a small army of heroes was waiting for him, waiting to first beat the crap out of him, and then arrest him for his supposed crimes.

Spider-Man is barely able to escape from both Wraith and the army of pro heroes, particularly one hero by the name of Slidin' Go, all while a camera crew in a helicopter, operated by one Miss Kizuki Chitose, followed after him, intent on making it seem like he was running from his crimes.

Soon enough, Spider-Man eventually shakes off his pursuers, and meets up with Ochako, who relays to him what she and the others have learnt, and that whoever this faker is, they're attacking people linked to S.I.L.K.. Whoever it is, on top of that, thinks that Peter's power is a quirk, and not from a radioactive spider, like Peter and his clones know already, meaning that this isn't a clone who is doing all of this, but just someone who, somehow, has the same powers at Peter on top of organic webbing. Thanks to what Peter has seen in the FeatherHATS main building, and cross-referencing that to the locations of the attacks, the two realise that these attacks are not just targeted, but also moving in a pattern that has almost been completed, and they deduce when the last attack will take place.

Using this information and making a judgement call, Peter and Ochako move out to take on this faker, and they eventually find the fake Spider-Man about to attack one of S.I.L.K.'s public representatives. Ochako and Peter save the man and begin their battle against the fake Spider-Man, only for the three of them to be cornered by another army of heroes, led by Slidin' Go once more, forcing both Peter and Ochako to defend themselves from both the fake Spider-Man and the pro heroes, constantly telling the heroes to go after the fake Spider-Man trying to kill them all, only to be ignored. As far as the heroes could tell, they were all villains that needed to be brought down.

The fake Spider-Man would eventually flee the battle, and Peter and Ochako would find themselves almost overwhelmed by the heroes, only for someone to suddenly pull them out of the chaos.

Not All Might, surprisingly, but Ryukyu, who, in her dragon form, would yell at the heroes to stop attacking two innocent people and go after the one that was trying to kill someone. The heroes would argue, many would retort, but others would decide to follow her orders and chase after the fake, with Ryukyu flying after in pursuit, Peter and Ochako riding atop her as she did so.

However, they would end up losing the fake in the alleyways and streets, and Peter and Ochako would be forced to duck down back into hiding at S.I.L.K.'s main headquarters, though Ryukyu is able to protect them as they head there.

When they arrive, they meet with Adriana there, who has brought in Detective Naomasa to help Peter compile his testimony. Naomasa then sits down with Peter and asks him all the necessary questions to prove that he isn't behind all these murders, but even Naomasa knows that this alone won't be enough to convince the public of the already unliked Spider-Man's innocence. They need a way to predict where this faker is going to attack next and stop anymore murders from taking place, and unfortunately, they may not have another chance. According to the research that Ochako, Peter, and Adriana have accumulated, this faker may have just hit all their targets in the area. Now, they would surely go underground.

Meanwhile, back in the new U.A. campus grounds in the old Exegol Academy, Momo is trying to rest in her new dorm room, which is of much lower quality compared to her previous dorm, but cannot find any sleep out of worry, due to everything that is going on with Peter and this fake Spider-Man that is running around and killing people.

However, she then notices something moving in the shadows, and forms her Iron Spider armour around herself.

The fake Spider-Man jumps out of the shadows and attacks her, and Momo retaliates by jumping out of bed, dodging the faker's attack, and then kicking her out of the window and into the open. Momo and the fake Spider-Man would duel each other, the faker desperately trying to convince Momo that he is the real Spider-Man, only to keep getting certain details wrong and allowing Momo to disregard the hesitation that she feels in trying to take down the faker…

Only for her to end up taking off the mask, and hesitating when she sees the face of Peter looking back at her.

This hesitation is enough for the faker to force her away from him, flip back on the mask, and jam his knife into her. Momo's armour is able to stop the knife, but the faker's enhanced strength is enough to begin to break through Momo's armour and pin her down.

However, suddenly, the faker is blasted off of Momo, and the armoured girl looks to her side to see that the person who had saved her was a limping Nejire, her leg partially healed by Recovery Girl's quirk, but still locked in a cast.

Soon enough, the other hero students, as well as the teachers, arrive, and Aizawa tries to use his quirk on the copycat, only for it to not work thanks to the faker's mask. The faker goes on a rant as he battles against the teachers, first talking about how he is Peter, and then talking about how he will soon become Peter by being one with his family.

And then, he flees, and Momo realises his next target, going to warn the actual Peter and ignoring Aizawa's orders and Asui's concerns as they move out.

The next day, Peter sits by himself on the roof of a building, trying to wrap his head around everything that is going on, and contemplating everything that has happened previously.

Then, he is attacked once more by Wraith, and when he asks why she is trying to kill him, Wraith simply responds that she isn't. She's not a killer, unlike the people that she's trying to take down, the ones who got away with their crimes like they were nothing.

Wraith knows that Spider-Man and the faker are two different people, and that Spider-Man wasn't the one behind all the murders. However, as far as she knows, Spider-Man was the one who got Kazuho killed, and was able to get away with it. As far as she is concerned, that makes him just as guilty as the corrupt pro heroes that she's seen get away with their crimes over the years, and the reason that she had gone vigilante in the first place.

In her opinion, Spider-Man is just another corrupt pro who bought their way out of facing justice.

Peter is eventually able to talk Wraith down, but she makes it clear that they're not friends. Not anymore. That bridge was burnt and gone now. Wraith then leaves, and Peter is left with a bitter feeling in his mouth, his mental and emotional wounds still sore over everything that has happened.

Then, he gets a call from Adriana, who informs him that Momo knows where the faker is going to strike next.

That night, Aunt May is by herself in Inko's apartment, the others having gone out for the night. Soon enough, someone slips through the door.

Spider-Man.

Aunt May welcomes Spider-Man inside, has a brief conversation with him, and offers him something to eat. Spider-Man agrees, patting the knife under his belt when May isn't looking.

Soon enough, May gives Spider-Man a plate of food, with cashew nuts in it as well. Spider-Man begins to gobble it all down, and that's when Aunt May reveals her trick…

By pointing a revolver to the back of Spider-Man's head, and revealing that she'd just poisoned the food.

Peter is allergic to cashew nuts.

The fake Spider-Man tries to go for the attack, only for Aizawa and Midnight to jump out of their hiding places and tackle the imposter, trying to hold him down for Aizawa to use his quirk to erase the imposter's and Midnight to use hers to knock him out, only for the fake to grab the both of them and throw them through the wall. Then, he takes the gun out of Aunt May's hand, then grabs her and begins to flee through the hole in the wall and publicly kill Aunt May in order to eventually, in his own twisted mind, become Spider-Man and destroy his entire reputation.

But then, with Aunt May in tow, he reaches the balcony and looks down to see that he is surrounded, as while Aunt May was keeping him distracted, Adriana and her S.I.L.K. agents were surrounding the building in an effort to contain him.

Then, he hears a whistle, and looks up to see Peter Parker, in his classic red and blue suit, shooting him a wave.

A flashback reveals that during a meeting between Adriana, Peter, the police, and Momo and Hatsume, Momo reveals that she suspects that Aunt May is the fake Spider-Man's next target, as she herself had been attacked by the imposter, who revealed that he seems to want to become Spider-Man, and thinks that the best way to do that is to kill Peter's loved ones, for some reason. Peter immediately wants to pull May out of harm's way, but Adriana counters by saying that if they do that, then the faker will immediately figure out that they're aware of his plans and go into hiding. They need to lure him out into a trap, and this might be the best way to do so. Plus, this idea of Peter being the murderer will never go away unless the imposter is taken down publicly, and in the eyes of the media and the public.

Peter is, of course, angst and angry about the thought of using his aunt as bait, but Adriana assures him that she will not come to harm. She has Peter there to make sure that doesn't happen.

Back in the present, Peter grumbles to himself about Adriana's plan, but then uses his webshooters to pull Aunt May away from the faker as the imposter tries to swing away, then hands her off to Aizawa and Midnight and then jumping away to catch the faker, chasing after him from the outskirts of Musufatu and deeper into the city, right into the lobby of a skyscraper.

The two begin to battle with each other as Adriana and the other heroes and S.I.L.K. operatives move to join them, throwing punches and web blasts at each other as Peter realises that the imposter is completely new to the powers that he is using, which isn't typical of someone who's had a quirk for all their life, and begins to wonder if this person was bitten by a radioactive spider as well.

But then, suddenly, Wraith ends up joining the battle by throwing her chained sickle at the imposter, and the two begin to wail on the imposter, duelling him for as long as they can until both he and Peter get into a scuffle, and Wraith gets a hand on the gun in the imposter's hands, aiming it at the two, who are now stuck in a position where she can't tell the two apart.

Peter then tells Wraith to just shoot them both.

She does, hitting them both in the shoulder. The two Spider-Men are sent falling to the ground, blood weeping out of their shoulders as Wraith makes it to Peter's side, helping him web up his wound.

But then, they look to the side to see that the skin and costume of the imposter Spider-Man is… melting.

And that's when they see Himiko Toga, the Blood Spider, where the faker once was, swearing to herself in pain from her injury as her shoulder is covered in blood.

Then, suddenly, she gets up and, somehow, rips a pillar out of one of the lobby struts, and throws it right into one of the central pillars holding up the skyscraper, destroying it and putting the entire building at risk of collapsing.

Peter tells Wraith to go after Toga as the villain escapes, and he, with a wounded and bleeding shoulder, moves to jump into the space of the broken pillar and, with all his strength, pushes himself against the stump of the pillar, holding the entire skyscraper up as the people inside begin to evacuate.

Meanwhile, Toga moves to flee, but is set upon by both Wraith and Ochako, and the two begin to attack the villain, only for Toga to prove to be too quick for them, and they end up losing her.

Back with Peter, most of the people in the skyscraper are able to flee, but one child, a young Latina girl origin by the name of Anya Corazon, would be wounded by falling rubble from the cracked roof and unable to move. Spider-Man would attempt to save her, but would be unable to move as his strength, on top of his profusely bleeding shoulder, is beginning to fail him, and he inches closer and closer to collapsing, the building just about to fall on top of the both of them…

Only for it to suddenly be lifted off of him, allowing him the chance to breathe as he looks to the side to see-

Adriana Soria, holding up the pillar, and the entire skyscraper, with just one hand.

Quickly enough, the other heroes and S.I.L.K. operatives arrive, including Cementoss and Ryukyu, arrive to stabilise the skyscraper and keep it upright, and this allows Peter the chance to duck away from the broken pillar and pull Anya out of the falling rubble from the cracking ceiling cracking above them, eventually getting the injured girl to one of the nearby arriving ambulances before he ends up passing out from the blood loss himself and having to be taken to a hospital too.

(Meanwhile, the traces of Peter's blood that are now on Anya's body mixes with her wounds…)

Soon enough, Peter wakes up in the hospital, with Ochako, Momo, and Aunt May at his side, and Adriana leaning against the wall in the corner. When he asks what happened, it is explained to him that he'd passed out after losing too much blood from being shot in the arm, and had been taken to the hospital to recover. He then suddenly remembers the girl that he had saved, and asks what happened to her, to which he is thankfully told that she was taken to the hospital as well, and is very much going to be fine.

Unfortunately, Himiko Toga was able to escape, but thankfully her plan to savage Spider-Man's reputation has been foiled somewhat, as it has been made public her crimes and how she posed as Spider-Man, on top of her quirk and how she needs blood to use her quirk to mimic others, effectively ending the latest smear campaign against him, and forcing Toga to go underground for the time being, ending her murder spree for the time being and no doubt saving many more lives. Miu and Yu, for their part, were investigated for the information that they had in connection to the pattern of Toga's killings, but there wasn't enough evidence to pin them down for any crimes, and were allowed to walk free.

Spider-Man wonders as to how Toga had even been able to use his powers, and even generate her own organic webbing on top of that, and Momo theorises that Toga may have suffered from an evolution to her quirk, allowing her to not just mimic other people's appearances, but their powers. Adriana comments that it might not be a solid theory because of the fact that Toga was clearly generating her own webbing, but it's a theory nonetheless. Peter, however, wonders if she got those powers from drinking his blood, as his powers aren't the result of a quirk, and, again, Toga was able to produce her own webbing.

But then, Peter remembers how he has given blood to Miles Morales in the past.

Later, when Peter is discharged from the hospital, he dons his Big Time Stealth Suit once more and heads over to the Morales household, looking over them to see how they are doing. When he sees that Miles and the newly adopted Eri are doing well for themselves, he is thankful, but is still concerned about Miles, as even if he hasn't shown any visible symptoms of being affected by having Peter's blood in his system, that doesn't mean that it won't happen. And considering the nightmare that had gone down with the pro hero Overhaul and the Green Goblin, that also didn't mean that he was out of danger.

Then, someone arrives on the same roof as his and sits down next to him. Wraith. Spider-Man asks if she's going to try and fight him, and Wraith says no. He then asks why she's here if not to fight him, and Wraith replies that she doesn't know. That's up to Peter, honestly.

The two sit in silence for a while, watching the world move by around them, and Spider-Man then asks what really spurred Yuri onto this vigilante crusade of hers. Yuri eventually says that, really, it has begun when Tombstone had killed several of her fellow officers for investigating his gang, and then escalated when Tombstone then had the pro heroes on his payroll wipe his hands of the incident. Since then, she's seen too many crooked heroes and criminals walk away from their crimes without any consequences, and she could no longer stand by and allow these monsters to just walk away from their crimes as if nothing had happened. She then left the police force, taking up the name Wraith as she did so, and vowed to bring all of these criminals to justice…

Including Peter, who, at the time, she saw as someone able to simply walk away from his wrongdoings as if nothing happened.

But now, after that business with Toga and watching Peter almost sacrifice himself to hold an entire building up and save an innocent girl's life, Yuri wasn't sure how to feel about him now. At first, she had thought him a friend, then she thought him an enemy, and now… now, she didn't know.

Peter asks if she is going to give up this crusade, already knowing that she won't. Yuri is too invested in this fight to turn back now. She can't give up, not until she's seen bastards like Overhaul and his people brought down and delivered to justice, no matter how that might come about. Peter asks if that means that she's going to start killing people, and when Yuri doesn't answer, Peter makes it clear that, if it does come to that, he will have to stop her.

Wraith simply tells him that, when that time comes, that he does what he has to do, and leaves, leaving Peter on his own once more, left to ponder over himself and the changing world around him.

And for the final two scene from this arc, we see Toga being shouted at by Shigaraki, who had sent her on her mission to impersonate and discredit Spider-Man as revenge for ruining their previous plans and helping in arresting and getting All for One killed using the last samples of blood that they had taken from him back during his time in captivity, from which Toga had gained her new powers from drinking, which they all put down as a mutation of her quirk. Instead, Toga had ruined that plan with her senseless need to spill blood and try to become the people that she has a crush on. He then decides to move forward with his own plans, and asks for Garaki to infuse him with the original All for One quirk.

In canon, Garaki would never have made this move as early as this, as All for One was still in Tartarus and working toward a greater plan. However, now, All for One was dead, meaning that plan was entirely shot, and Garaki, ever loyal to his master, would desperately be seeking a way to revive his lord.

And so, without telling Shigaraki of how the All for One quirk would infuse him with All for One's original personality, would agree, and begin the process of implanting the quirk into him.

Meanwhile, Toga would slump off from the League, feeling as isolated from them as she did from everyone else (without Twice there to act as her friend and confidant, it only makes sense that she wouldn't have as strong a connection to the League as in canon), and would eventually stumble across Miu and Yu from the FeatherHATS, Kazuho's former idol group. She would begin to chastise the two for letting her down and not giving her the right information to carry out her attacks on S.I.L.K., and Miu, now going by the codename of Shriek, would angrily retort that Toga had been asking things of her, information-wise, that she couldn't reliably provide. Yu, who has chosen the moniker of Paper Doll for herself, is getting cold feet about working with Toga, especially now with the killings that she is responsible for, only for Toga and Miu to shoot back that she's in too deep now. There's no going back for any of them.

This is all for Kazuho's sake, for getting justice from Spider-Man. the one who murdered her.

But, on her way back to the League, she would stumble across something interesting…

A stray Symbiote. A weak, blood red Symbiote.

Himiko would be mesmerised by this Symbiote and its colour, bottling it up in one of her tubes for carrying blood about, and promising to nurse it back to health…

And after that, they would become the best of friends, spreading their love, judgement, the blood of others…

And such, great, carnage.

I did not enjoy writing this arc out. I'm not the biggest fan of the whole 'Doppelganger tries to pose as and frame original for crimes' storyline, as I find it to be really cliché and tried. However, there was a point during writing this all that I realised that an arc like this kind of had to happen, especially with all the moving pieces that have been put in place across this entire story. Plus, I kind of felt like I had to write this arc out, as there was simply too much story potential to get out of this, and there was no way that I couldn't with the various story elements scattered across the story as well as the characters in it.

As such, this arc comes into fruition, one that I felt I had an obligation to write. It's definitely not my best attempt at an arc, as you can probably tell, but I did as good as an attempt as I could, especially with the fact that this was a storyline that I was not completely enthusiastic about.

But let's get into the details of this arc, first of all with: Toga, who takes the role of not just the Blood Spider, but also the Chameleon! Originally, I hadn't planned on having the Chameleon in this story, but, again, there was too much potential to be had in a storyline like this, plus Toga's entire quirk revolves around shapeshifting and taking up people's identities, so here we are.

Plus, Toga's got some new powers for this arc from Peter's blood! Originally, she wasn't going to have them, but then I figured that the only way to take up Peter's shape was for her to ingest his blood, and considering Miles... yeah, it made sense for her to gain some new powers from them. Plus, it wouldn't be as convincing if Toga was just going to run around in Peter's skin and not use any of the powers that he uses every other day as Spider-Man.

(When it comes to Toga's disguise for Spider-Man, I'm actually visualising it in my head as not a perfect replica of Spider-Man's costume. I've got the design for Toga's Spider-Man disguise to be something like the Superior Spider-Man's first outfit, with the blue of the classic costume replaced with black, the lenses enlarged and more prominent, claws on the hands and more prominence in the toes. It's almost just like the classic red and blue suit, but just... wrong.)

But now, of course, Toga has found a red Symbiote... yeah, I think we all know what's about to go down. It's a match made in heaven, it is.

But moving on from Toga, Kazuho's death and its consequences continue to rear their ugly head, firstly in the form of Wraith (who's design I consider to be a hybrid between her comic 616 counterpart and her Marvel's Spider-Man 2 design). If you knew who Yuri Watanabe was from the beginning, then you already knew what was going to happen with her character. It was just a matter of when she was going to adopt the title of Wraith, not if. Here, at this point, she's not necessarily one of Spider-Man's enemy, but she's certainly not an ally either. She's more in the grey area, like so many other characters in this story. The messy, complicated grey area.

However, worse effects of Kazuho's demise have emerged in the form of Miu and Yu, who have taken on the aliases of Shriek and Paper Doll (or Paperdoll, according to some authors) respectively. Both of them are members of Kazuho's idol group who are eager to seek revenge on Spider-Man for their friend's death. Paper Doll and Shriek are both aliases for minor villains in Spider-Man's rogue gallery, and while Paper Doll isn't that much of a threat, if you know who Shriek is, then you know it spells bad omens for everyone...

(At least Yu is having second thoughts...)

Moving on once again, say hello to the Big Time Stealth Suit, one of my personal favourite suits-

(I like the Tron aesthetic, okay. The first video games that I ever played were Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, and they made me fall in love with the Tron aesthetic. I used to draw a lot of Transformers pictures when I was younger, and I've always tried to find a way to incorporate the WFC/FOC design style into them when I draw them.

What I used to do when I was drawing was cellotape a bunch of A4 pieces of paper together and use them as a giant canvas for which to draw my pictures. As the pictures progressed, I ended up going from sticking four pieces of paper together, to six, to eight, and then eventually all the way up to eighteen pieces of paper as I drew out these massive battles between the Autobots and Decepticons. I had an entire timeline of events during those pictures. It was a great way of tracking my skills at drawing and colouring. I went from drawing out crappy images of FOC/IDW designs for Transformers to tracing out Alex Milne's designs for his characters and so on as I had all these different Transformers kill each other.

And seriously, there was a lot of death in my drawings, even all the way down to the first one. Characters got shot, stabbed, exploded, had their heads crushed or put on spikes, the whole nine yards. I'd been reading too much IDW Transformers, and it definitely showed in my drawings.)

-And also one of Spider-Man's most famous outfits as well.

On top of that, we've also got a brief cameo from Anya Corazon, who is totally an unimportant character in the Spider-Man mythos and is someone that will definitely never come up again.

But, with that, I think we've reached the end of this AN, haven't we?

Oh, and if any of you were wondering where the hell All Might was during all of this, don't worry, I've got the answer for that, next time!
