RL Stine Haunting Hour Aftermath:
Don't think about it.

I wrote this new story to describe what happened to Priscilla Wright the bully who survived the Evil Thing on the night of Halloween. Disclaimer: I don't own RL Stine's Haunting Hour or any of his work; I just did this for the fun in telling stories. Enjoy this story.

Chapter one.

Halloween night.

After a long walk from where she was held captive by the Evil Thing, Priscilla arrived at the front yard of her home still covered in slime. She looked at the house to see that only one light was on for her so she went forward to the front door.
All she wanted to do was get changed and a shower once she's indoors.
"Cassie Keller, I swear that I'll get you for this, you witch!" Priscilla mumbled to herself as she came close to the door and opened it. Once she steps inside the house, she closes the door and walks across the hallway when she hears her dad speak.
"Young Lady, where were you? Your mother and I were worried sick about you being out late. So come over here and explain yourself." He said to her as he stood up from his seat.

"Not now Dad, I want to go upstairs and take a shower." Priscilla replied not looking at her dad.

"You'll go upstairs after you explain why you were out so late and covered in whatever this is. Did you dive into a pool of waste or something Priscilla?" Mr Wright spoke harshly as he approached his daughter.

Priscilla turned to face her father with a glare before she spoke.
"It was Cassie Keller, that Goth girl is a witch who created a monster that captured me and cocooned me in slime Dad, that's what happened."

"That's the biggest load of rubbish I've ever heard Priscilla Wright."

"Dad, I'm telling you the truth! She did this to me!" Priscilla yelled.

"Priscilla stop that!" Mr Wright shouted to her daughter, causing Mrs Wright to step in.

"Honey, I think she's probably been through enough. Perhaps a shower and a good night's rest is what Priscilla needs. It's clear that she's not getting her story straight, so why don't we go to bed and you can call Cassie Keller's parents and ask for the girl's side of the story?" said Mrs Wright.

"Maybe you're right Darling. I'm going to make a phone call to the Keller family tomorrow and get this girl Cassie's side of the story." Said Mr Wright looking to his wife before turning back to Priscilla.
"As of now, Priscilla, you're grounded for the whole year for staying out late and back talking to me. That means no allowance and no shopping. No internet, no phone whatsoever and no friends.
And if your mother and I hear one word about you accusing that Cassie girl of being a witch, we are going to be heavy on your punishment. We might send you off to finishing school. Have you got that young lady?"

"Mom!" Priscilla spoke but Mrs Wright stopped her. "Priscilla. I think your father's right." She said, pausing for a few seconds before she spoke again. "Now go upstairs and take a shower, that smell is starting to reek."

With that, Priscilla turned away from her parents and went upstairs to get changed and go to bed whilst her parent went to bed as well.

But unbeknownst to them, the Keller family were in for another round with the Evil Thing since Cassie's dad ignored the warning not to think about the Beast. Having thought about the best, Mr Keller found out the hard way as Cassie realised that The Evil Thing had been brought back to life.

Now Cassie needed to explain to her parents what happened whilst they were away and that they'd have to make sure the beast didn't get Max and had to get some animal blood to kill the beast before the cursed monster could get anyone else.

Thankfully, they had a jar filled with corn syrup dyed red to look like blood and a bottle of salt to make it look salty. Once the three mixed it up, Cassie was the one to throw the bowl at the Evil Thing which then ate its other head before exploding in a shower of yellow blood, killing itself again in the process.

With the Evil Monster now gone for good, Mr and Mrs Keller decided to take the book and hide it so no one could read it. Even though they were glad that the monster was destroyed, Cassie's mom and dad were plenty mad at Cassie for buying the book, and Max conjured up the monster and used the blood from the pot Roast to kill the monster.
But the three of them agreed to keep the whole event a secret after talking with Cassie as well as planning to give her and Max a light punishment. So Cassie didn't feel too bad about Max and herself being grounded for a week instead of the rest of their life.

The next day, Mr Keller called in sick and Mrs Keller told the school that Cassie and Max had the flu so they can stay in and have a family meeting about the events of Halloween. Max confessed at the fact that he did think about it but promised that he wouldn't do that again having defeated the monster to save Cassie.

When they got a call from Mr Wright who related to what his daughter Priscilla told them about Cassie being a witch, Mr Keller asked if Priscilla had purposefully tried to prank Cassie.
Mr Keller further explained that the prank probably backfired on Priscilla which explained her being covered in slime and it was nothing but a wild story that Priscilla made up to cover for her true actions. Buying Mr Keller's story, Mr Wright then apologised to Mr Keller for his daughter's antics, promising that he would handle Priscilla.

It took her some time to help Sean finish his paper as well as her term paper but she managed to get her work sent off and help Sean pass some of his classes during school time. Sean was very grateful to Cassie that he decided to be her friend, much to the surprise of every one of their peers at school.

Priscilla's status started to change for the worst as rumours spread that she got into so much trouble with her parents for the wild story she told and she was going to get sent off to a boarding school soon enough.

A week later.

When it became the weekend, Cassie and her dad took a drive to the lake, taking the EVIL Thing book with them. Having wrapped the book up in a rope net with bricks tied to it so they could sink it. Having tried to burn it and found it didn't work, they decided to throw it in the water to ensure no one would find it.
Once Cassie threw it into the water, she and Mr Keller watched it sink into the bottom of the water before Mr Keller rowed the oars back to the shore.

As soon as they were near the shore, Mr Keller and Cassie pulled the board onto the shoreline and returned to the car. As they walked, Cassie spoke her thoughts to her dad. "Hey Dad, I'm glad we've moved here and I think there might be a change in the air."

"Well I do hope it is a good change, Cassie, without any more encounters with monsters from your imagination." said Mr Keller.

But whilst they were approaching the car and getting inside to drive off, the stranger from the Halloween store was standing on the other side of the lake, watching in the distance as Cassie was leaving with her father. Standing on the edge he brought his eyes down to see a bubbles float to the water's surface.
In the next two seconds, the book suddenly floated up to breach the surface and it suddenly drifted towards the shallow part near the stranger.

Seeing the book in the water, the stranger crouches at the edge and takes the book from the water. He held the book in his hand looking upon it before he looked up and drew a grin. The stranger lets out a cackle and speaks.
"Happy Halloween, until next year."

Turning away, the stranger walked away from the lake as a wall of fog started to surround him before he vanished in the mist that rose up.

That's chapter one done, the second and final chapter will be written soon involving Cassie and Sean meeting up at school and exchanging the story of Priscilla being sent to a finishing school.
