Ok. This is my take on what happened after the Avengers defeated the multiversal masters of Evil. Here Maya Lopez AKA Echo still had the Phoenix Force until months later, it left her. The Phoenix has decided to leave her and to experience the emotions of a male host. ) the men of the Phoenix Five don't count as they only had fragments of the Phoenix.
The Marvel Comics characters belong to Marvel Comics. (though this plot here is mine Witchdavid). I am not the original writer (though I wish I could be) I do not wish to make money from this. Most Importantly, I DO NOT want to get sued.
Also be prepared for some surprises and surprising Resurrections.
Words that are in italics are telepathic voices.*
Chapter 1: The Beginning
On a beach in New York, a humanoid male was walking along the beach, when he realized that he must get to work.
Even though The Five resurrects mutants, some are not back yet and some are old friends of his. Plus there might be a few that aren't mutants. And according to the laws of Krakoa no human can be resurrected via The Five.
The man was wearing tight fitting denim jeans that revealed every bulge and muscle, the jeans were kept up by a belt with a stylized bird symbol. His shirt was loose and long but the purple of his shirt was the same as his hair. His eyes were the color of silver like the rays of moonlight. Around his neck on an Adamantium chain was a reddish pink crystal. This is the M'kraan crystal and this was the first time it has left the shi'ar throne world to be in the hands of someone that's not Shi'ar.
Around him in a large circle are 10 individual circles. The man was planning something huge.
From within a secret pocket in his jacket he pulls out a satchel. From the satchel he pulls out 10 stones. He knows that to pull something or someone from another dimension, you need to give up something to get something.
In each circle he places one stone, once they are all placed, he walks back to the beginning and begins to pull forth a young girl with Green hair, you can't see her eyes as she's sleeping. The stone that was in the circle has disappeared. As it's taken the place of the girl.
He says to himself, "Doll Warburton, check."
The man has left sensors up in case the young girl awakens. The man then walks to the second circle and pulls forth a man with green skin, and black hair. Like the girl he too is sleeping so you cannot see his eyes.
The man says, "Danny Warburton, check. Hopefully this will clear up some of Eva's depression."
What wasn't said, is that Danny and Doll are from an alternate future and are the husband and daughter to one Eva Bell of the Five on Krakoa. This man is strong and wants the mutant Nation to Flourish.
The man then walks to the third circle and begins to pull forth a woman with blue fur covering her body, Pointed ears, three digits on each hand, two digits on each feet, a tail and long white hair. He leaves her there sleeping like the other two that he has brought forth.
The man, let's call him Rave, lets out a huge sigh. It's going to take a lot of effort to keep pulling forth certain mutants from alternative futures.
Rave heads to the fourth circle and begins pulling. He pulls forth a golden Female Child. She has Pointed ears, three digits on each hand, two digits on each foot, and a tail. She is the daughter of the woman he pulled before the child.
Rave heads to the fifth circle and he now knows it's going to get difficult. So he flares his powers, and his hands glow gold.
Once he's ready, he begins to pull, and pulls forth a young girl with blue skin. She possesses three digits (including an opposable thumb) on each hand and also has only 2 toes on each foot, each longer than an ordinary human, a prehensile tail, pointed ears, and a furry coat. He leaves her to sleep in the circle.
Just as Rave was beginning to walk towards the sixth circle, he senses a portal disturbance in the sky. He looks up at Mars and smirks. one of his husband's has just returned. He can't wait to run his hands over that muscled orange body.
Rave turns his attention to the sixth circle, he makes his hands glow and begins to pull forth a rat looking humanoid with brown fur, black hair, and a long tail. Rave just left the rat humanoid woman in the circle sleeping.
Rave sighs and looks over the six bodies. He still has a lot of work to do and he's just getting started.
Rave walks over to the seventh circle, and while his hands are glowing begins to pull forth a brown skinned man that was bald but his eyes even closed seemed to be glowing. Rave just leaves the man sleeping while he moves onward.
Rave heads to the eighth circle and with his hands glowing pulls forth a white woman with shoulder length black hair who was wearing a purple jacket. The woman's forehead was glowing indicating mental powers.
Rave has left the young woman to sleep as he heads to the ninth circle with his hands still glowing like a glow stick. The next person had brown skin, brown hair, and a full blown beard. The man had a pair of feathered wings coming out of his back, prehensile tail, and pointed ears.
Rave leaves the man to sleep as he walks to the tenth circle. The next one Rave pulled through was a very thin man with all black skin. You couldn't see if he had a mouth or anything. And Rave was just guessing about the man part.
Once the man was left sleeping, Rave walks away from the ten people and heads closer to the cliff wall. He then conjures forth a nice comfortable chair.
Rave understands that this is work from a higher force that was guiding him to bring forth these mutants from alternate universes.
Suddenly he hears a pop, and looks over at the ten mutants to see if something happened to them. He doesn't see anything wrong, when he hears a telepathic voice.
"You left me. I am now hungry and I demand sustenance. "
Rave sighs and looks down to see Salem, his black Bombay cat which houses a Flerken. He loves this blasted cat, but Salem knew that he, Raven, had a lot of work to do.
So with a flick of Raven's wrist he summons from the water, three huge tunas. Salem smirks and opens his mouth revealing his tentacles that wrap around each fish before pulling them towards his mouth.
Rave sighs and stands up from his chair ending his 10 minute break. Salem of course hops right onto the chair but then hisses as Raven had made the chair vanish and Salem landed in the sand.
Rave walks over to the bodies and moves them to where the chair was. He then pulls out three more stones and places them in three circles.
Rave takes in a deep breath and slowly lets it out. Once his hands were glowing gold again, he focuses and pulls forth a man with pale blue skin and long white hair. The man was wearing a long winter jacket and pants. Rave leaves the man where he laid so that he can move onwards.
At the 12th circle, Rave pulls forth a woman with long brown hair. But there are what looks to be flickers of flames dancing about in her hair. He leaves her lying where she was so that he can get on with the show.
Finally, Raven heads to the thirteenth circle and pulls forth a woman with short brown hair. Her eyes even when they are closed are letting psionic energy out. Heck even her fingers had a weird glow to them.
Once the mutants that he's selected from the age of X-Man were all together and resting, Raven opens a portal to the Healing Gardens on Krakoa. As he knows that the medical personnel and healers are going to give them a once over to make sure everyone is healthy.
Raven gestures and the 13 mutants all float into the air, ever so slowly he begins to push them through until all are gone and are now in the healing gardens. Before Raven closes the portal, he sends a message to Cypher through Krakoa so that they know about the new mutants that have just arrived.
Raven then opens a portal over Arbor Magna AKA The Hatchery, he needs some of the eggs if he's going to resurrect certain mutants.
He gathers up about 40 eggs, he hopes he doesn't need that many, but one never knows.
Once he has the eggs in his magical bag, he pulls back and closes the portal.
Within 15 minutes he's back on the beach, and he begins to place 5 eggs in a circle.
As soon as he has placed the fifth egg, he clutches his head in pain as he nearly falls to the ground.
Salem bounds over and lets out a mrrp. He's letting his servant know that he's there if he's needed. Finally the pain lessens and Raven plops down on the sand.
Salem asks, "What happened Raven?"
Raven wipes the blood running from his nose, and replies "Orchis attacked Milford, New Hampshire and sent in their version of a chimera and blew up the town. Hopefully Krakoa and the mutants there will do something about this. "
Raven staggers back to his feet to begin the resurrections he has planned.
And just as he was about to begin, Salem interrupts
"I think you need to summon one or two of your husbands."
Raven turns to Salem and hums. After thinking about it. He agrees.
Raven turns from the eggs and opens a portal to an alternate future. He pokes his head in and sees that he's found the world of 2099. And that his portal was on top of a building in Nueva York.
He sends out a telepathic message to Lyla, short for LYrate Lifeform Approximation, who is an A. I. and an assistant to Miguel O'Hara.
Soon Lyla gasps at the sight of Raven. She says "Boss is going to be so pissed at you. "
Raven sighs, "I don't care if he's pissed. I need my husband. "
Lyla sighs and sends a quick message for Spider man AKA Miguel O'Hara to appear at her location.
Soon a humanoid male in red and blue comes swinging in, the man asks, "What do you need Lyla? Who's this?"
Lyla replies, this guy is a friend and needs your assistance. "
Spider man says "How can i assist you?"
Raven says, "You will get mad at me. But I need to touch your head without the mask."
Spider Man thinks about it and then he pulls off his mask, revealing his Hispanic Heritage, his red eyes and dark brown hair.
Raven reaches up to cup Spider man's cheek, he says, "I am so sorry Miguel. "
And with those final words, his fingers glow purplish pink as psionic needles form and he pushes them into Miguel's brain removing the blocks in his mind that were blocking memories.
Miguel groans and had begun to fall when Raven's telekinesis grabbed him.
Raven looks to Lyla and asks, Will this reality be ok if i take Miguel home??
Lyla smiles and says, "Of course. The X-Men, X-nation, the fantastic four, plus a whole slew of good guy teams will protect this earth. But you do realize that I'm coming along. "
Raven snorts, "I wouldn't expect anything less. But before we go send out an electronic message stating that you don't know how long Miguel will be gone. "
Lyla nods and then looks off into the distance.
Lyla looks back to Raven after a couple of minutes and says "Done."
Raven nods and Lyla sits back as Miguel's communicator. Once she is done Raven pushes Miguel into the portal and he follows, letting the portal close behind him.
Back on the beach, Raven has a cocoon form around Miguel so that he can heal and deal with his memories in peace.
Raven decides to contact one more of his husband's before dealing with the resurrections.
His eyes glow and bird-like feathers form around each eye. He was sending a telepathic message to Daken.
SCENE CHANGE
Krakoa
Healing Gardens
Cypher knew that an old friend was helping the mutant nation. So he had the council send Jean, and Emma to help Dr. Cecilia Reyes, Healer, Christopher Muse, and Joshua Foley.
Cypher went along and overheard that they didn't know what was going on, they didn't recognize these mutants but were glad that they had arrived.
Cypher just smirks and walks away.
Xxx
SCENE CHANGE
Red Keep, Hellfire Bay,
On a red sofa was a buff man, if he was standing he would measure six feet in height and even though he was lying down, he only weighed 170 pounds.
His long black hair was laying haphazardly around his head as he was napping.
Soon purple winged eyes appeared to hover over him, this man was Akihiro, another one of Raven's husbands.
Once Akihiro sensed the intrusion, he awakened and his blue eyes focused on the purple winged eyes.
Akihiro asks, "What?"
He hears a chuckle inside his head. The voice says "Have you forgotten me already, love?"
Akihiro breathes out, "Raven. "
Raven chuckles, "I need you my love. Miguel's already here. But not Nathan or Jon. My powers are ok. But with that attack in Milford, New Hampshire made my powers go haywire for a bit. And before I could continue Salem demanded that I contact one or 2 of my husbands."
Akihiro smiles and says, "I can get Magik to teleport to you. You might have to let her 'see' where you are. "
Raven agrees, and leaves; while Akihiro heads to his room in the red keep to pack.
Once he has packed, he heads out to find Magik.
Akihiro was able to find her in the Akademos Habitat, once he has explained the situation, he telepathically contacts his husband Raven since they all have mind links with one another.
Soon enough, Illyana's eyes glow with the winged eyes and she was able to see where Raven was.
Illyana ports them to Raven's side. Raven and Akihiro kiss but afterwards, Akihiro gives him a dope slap which leads Illyana to laughing.
Raven says hi and then asks her to be quiet about what he's planning on doing. She agrees if he will teach her some magic and allow her to teleport the resurrected mutants back to Krakoa.
Raven agrees and summons forth the book of the damned (yes that book if you are a supernatural fan you should know what I'm talking about.)
Raven says "Even though you can probably feel the evilness Emanating from the book. It does have some useful spells. Like the ability to remove the mark of cain. How to summon Death, how to safely summon Lucifer Morningstar, how to resurrect the dead and more. Once you are finished with the book, I'll lend you Rowena's Journals. Row was a dear friend of mine and she created a lot of spells. She created the Attack Dog Spell, the Defigere Et Depurgare and many more."
Illyana squeals. She loves learning about magic, whether it's classified as good, dark, obscure or esoteric. Hugging the book to her chest Magik pops off back to Krakoa.
Akihiro turns to Raven and looks him over. He says "You haven't aged a bit. "
Raven chuckles, "That's the cause of immortality and a regenerative healing factor. You forget that I was born in ancient Mesopotamia, love. "
Akihiro snickers, "No my dove. Your memory blocking never worked on me. You clouded my ability to remember you for a year but after meditating I remember everything. They way you moaned when it was just you and I fucking. Or all of us passing out the first time we were all together. "
Raven just blushes. Raven says "Alrighty then. I need to get started. Please keep an eye on Miguel. I didn't know if Miguel's healing blocked my tampering so I used my powers to free his mind."
Akihiro kisses Raven again, "Don't worry so. You'll get wrinkles. "
Raven snorts, *very funny. "
Raven walks back over to where he left the first of many resurrection eggs.
Akihiro says, "Wait. Before you do that. Is there any way possible to speed up Miguel's healing? I know that he might hate you right now. But I can use his help in protecting you."
Raven snorts. You forget that I am a sorcerer from ancient Mesopotamia. I can do that but I have a bad feeling that we are going to need Nate as well."
Akihiro nods, and watches as his husband walks over to the cocoon that was holding their other husband.
Raven snaps his fingers and a white glow encompasses his right hand which he then turns to the cocoon. The white light enters the cocoon filling it with healing energy.
After letting the light die down, they soon hear some groans and they both jump as ten claws piece the psychic energy of the cocoon making it shatter.
Miguel stands up and looks around. He smiles when he recognizes Akihiro. Miguel walks to Akihiro and pulls him in for a passionate kiss.
Raven just folds his arms waiting. It's not like they are in a hurry (kinda are.)
Finally after ten minutes of kissing, Miguel and Akihiro break free, Miguel walks over to Raven and punches him in the stomach.
Raven lets out a groan as he bends over from the punch.
Miguel says "That's for erasing my memories of us. And this is for bringing us back together."
And with those final words Miguel begins to kiss Raven.
After the kiss, Raven gives a small smile, "With the white light of Psychic Light, I am going to give you an information download from my life after I blocked you guys."
A white light flashes from Raven's head and flies towards Akihiro and Iggy
The light hits both Akihiro and Miguel, they both close their eyes, preparing for the information download from their husband Raven.
They both moan, groan and growl at certain parts of Raven's memories.
Miguel says, "No more. You won't leave us behind. From this moment onwards we shall not only be your husbands but bodyguards as well. You seriously need protecting."
Akihiro agrees.
Raven just rolls his eyes, while he hears Salem's telepathic voice laughing at him.
Akihiro says, "Please go ahead and retrieve Nathan. "
Raven turns from them and has his powers activated. His hands begin to glow gold signaling that Nate is in another dimension or plane of reality.
Raven creates a rip in time and space, and puts his head in the circular opening. Inside the opening he sees his husband Nate floating in an empty void.
He calls out to Nate but Nate doesn't make a sound.
Raven's eyes glow purple and he says "NATHANIEL ALEXANDER GREY WAKE UP!!!"
The fury behind Raven's telepathy jars Nate awake. Nate floats up right and sees a strange man with purple hair and storm grey eyes glaring at him from a rip in space.
Since the rip was still open and Nate not making any movements towards Raven, Raven thrusts out his right and uses an attraction field to pull Nate towards him.
Ever so slowly, pulling towards himself the third of four husbands, Nate Grey.
Once Nate was pulled through the portal Raven drops the attraction field and Nate drops with a plop to the sand.
Nate says "Iggy, Aki, what's going on?"
Miguel AKA Iggy was giggling while Aki AKA Akihiro was trying not to laugh.
Raven snarls and Nate turns to face him, recognition finally sits in and Nate breathes out "Raven."
Nate takes a few steps towards Raven then collapses on the sand at Raven's feet.
Raven rolls his eyes. He has his telepathy flare and gently removes the blockages on memories in Nate's head.
Nate asks, "Why?"
Raven sighs. "I had Work to do that couldn't be interrupted by my husbands. So I blocked the memories of us. And now I need my husbands back at my side. There's a war coming on two different fronts."
Nate pauses, while Akihiro asks, "What war?"
Raven creates chairs for them to sit down on, all the while having the genetic DNA for the resurrected mutants ready for a moment's notice.
Raven replies, "Krakoa is having its third Hellfire Gala in July. A terrorist group called Orchis has formed in the hopes of destroying mutant kind."
Akihiro, Nate and Iggy were stunned. Raven goes on to say, "That's not the only war. On Arakko, formerly known as Mars, Regent of Sol, one Ororo Munroe will go to war with the evil goddess known as Genesis. Genesis is the wife of one En Sabah Nur also known as Apocalypse."
Iggy asks "How do you know all of this?"
Raven replies "In the years that we were apart my psychic abilities have enhanced to God levels and as such one is the gift or curse of precognition. I can see all the futures around me. Though the first time I started receiving visions of the future I was blind for about a year."
Iggy gets up from his chair and walks over to Raven.
He sits down on his knees in front of Raven and wraps him up in a hug.
After a couple minutes, they break from the hug.
Raven says, "The mutants will be forced through the gates of Krakoa. Some I can get by placing teleportation portals in front of so that they can come to my house for safety."
Nate asks, "Do you have a team that can help us?"
Raven smirks, "I have a group in mind. But I will probably need to summon them mid resurrections."
They continue to make small talk, when Raven asks, "Did y'all ever meet Arcane and Plas?"
All the husbands shake their heads no, they haven't met the aforementioned people yet.
Raven says, "In the 19th century I was in London studying and came across a man called Dr. Nathaniel Essex. He had just announced to the tavern I was in that his wife was pregnant. I was introduced to Nathaniel and his wife Rebecca when I happened upon them one time.
After moving away to a different part of England and then back, Rebecca had given birth to a happy baby. But the baby was very sickly. But Nathaniel knew that I had a way with herbs and the like. So he left me with little Adam. Adam had the bluest eyes I had ever seen. But Nathaniel couldn't stand the child for some reason or another.
After a couple of weeks I was hired as a nanny to watch little Adam while I went to the Milbury Estate to ask why Nathaniel never came for little Adam. I met with Rebecca and she claimed that Nathaniel told her that Adam died from his sickness. Which of course shocked the hell outta me. But I kept the secret that her son was still alive and at my home. I ended up being friends with Rebecca but I couldn't stand to be around Nathaniel.
Years passed and Rebecca became pregnant again, and this time the child was supposedly stillborn but Nathaniel came to me and gave me his daughter that I named Morgana. To this very day I cannot for the life of me figure out why he gave me his kids. The man was a brilliant biologist but in the end Rebecca died and gave her husband the name Sinister. After her death he found En Sabah Nur AKA Apocalypse, and Apocalypse turned him into something else, something sinister.
I ended up schooling the two and adopted them as my kids.
The main reason he got rid of them was he didn't want kids. Well he did but he wanted to experiment on them more than anything.
Morgana was born early and was premature. He thought that her blue skin was because she was short on oxygen."
Raven takes a breath, conjures up a glass of sweet tea and takes a couple sips.
Raven continues, "The reason Morgana's skin turned blue or as she was born that way is because she was and is a mutant. It wasn't until her tenth birthday that her mutation finally manifested.
Somehow Nathaniel or Rebecca was descended from En Sabah Nur AKA Apocalypse. But I believe the mutation came from Nathaniel as Adam displayed genius level intellect when it came to sorcery.
Back then there was no Charles Xavier and no school to help mutants. But together we strived through and became immortal of a sort. I was already immortal as I was born 242 million years ago and considered by my tribe to be unworthy and left to die.
Firehair the first Phoenix was lucky, she had wolves to help her. I was luckier as I had bears, and lions. I ended up traveling with my new family.
When Adam decided to become immortal he had to best one of the avatars of Death. Morgana didn't have to fight anyone, her power over her molecular structure kept her young."
Raven's husbands were stunned.
Suddenly Akihiro speaks up, "I remember meeting Morgana. At the time I didn't know she was your kid. I was in the basement headed for the gym, when she asked for a spar. It was a close one but I won. Hopefully now she's stronger and can beat me."
Raven chuckles.
Iggy asks, "Who all did you meet throughout the years?
Raven says, "I'll name drop a few and then we need to get to work on the resurrections."
Raven then goes on, "I witnessed the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, he was ok. But before his shtick healing people, he was a fun drunk as he got wasted on red wine. I witnessed Vlad the impaler becoming Dracula.
I met Cain, Nefertiti, and many other pharaohs. I lived for a time on Atlantis. When the great flood happened I escaped Earth and fled to the moon and lived there for a while.
Raven falls silent and rests for a bit.
After a while Raven pipes up, "Alrighty then boyos, it's time for us to get to work resurrecting some mutants."
