Akame Ga Kill: Kill the Second Chance.

Chapter Eleven: Wrap Up, Heal and Offer.

Previously in the last chapter.

"Hey, Akame…" Tatsumi said weakly, breaking Akame's thoughts. "Do you…want to know…something important?"

"What is it, Tatsumi?" Akame asked curiously, wondering what Tatsumi has to say before he dies, even though he already is like she thought before. She at first wanted to know how he knew her name, but concluded the previously alive guards told him about her, including Night Raid.

"I want…to say…that your sword…" Here, Tatsumi began to fall forward, apparently almost reaching the time limit he has left in the land of living. Akame, not sure why she's even doing this, rushed forward to grab him and gently laid him onto his back on the ground with her kneeling next to him. "Your sword…"

Akame was confused. What does her sword have to do with anything? "My sword? What about my sword?"

"Your sword…" Tatsumi's eyes slowly began to close, but he had enough strength left to lock gazes with Akame's dark red eyes. The moment they did…his eyes snapped wide open, and a shark-like grin appeared on his face, very much shocking the dark-hair assassin to the core. "Has no effect on me at all."

(In the Present; With Akame and Tatsumi)

There was a rather dark legend about the infamous Murasame centuries ago when it had been created by the first emperor and the legend explains how no one could survived the deadly cursed poison that courses through their veins.

The moment people receives even the tiniest and slightest nick on their skin by the thin blade…they are instantly dead. That was it. They have no time to get medical help since there is no cure for the cursed poison. Even if there was one, which is highly unlikely but can be a very wondrous miracle, it would still be already too late.

The reason why it would be too late was because the cursed poison travels through the veins to reach the heart and after a couple moments, it stops beating, officially killing the person who got nicked by Murasame.

Sure, wearing thick metal armor can protect you from Murasame, but since it's wielded by a deadly assassin who shows absolutely no mercy to her enemies and always aims at the neck with it, you are still very much dead.

Centuries passed by and Murasame retained its dark legend as many people, either good or bad, got mercilessly slain by both the thin blade and the deadly cursed poison. This was how it became the most dangerous Teigu in the world and why people who knows the dark legend would never touch it. If they knew the requirements to activate Murasame's trump card, then they would have it either destroyed or completely locked away to ensure no one uses it ever again.

Even to the current present day, no one can survived against the lethal and deadly cursed poison.

But today, history was about to change drastically as one person managed to do the impossible and survived against the deadly cursed poison, which led to the current predicament happening right…now.

'HOW THE FUCK IS HE STILL ALIVE?!' A still very much shocked Akame screamed hysterically in her mind, eyes wide as dinner plates as she continued to gaped at Tatsumi, who was staring back at her with the same shark-like grin on his face. She couldn't believe someone has survived against Murasame's cursed poison, a fact that is completely impossible. 'I SLASHED HIM ACROSS THE CHEST WITH MY SWORD AND MY BLADE FELT NOTHING BUT LIVING FLESH! THERE'S NO WAY HE SHOULD STILL BE ALIVE! MUCH LESS HAVE A GRIN LIKE THAT ON HIS FACE! HOW DID HE SURVIVED?!'

Akame's hysterical thoughts of Tatsumi surviving Murasame's cursed poison when it shouldn't be possible at all came to a screeching halt upon feeling a hand striking her to the chest, sending her flying backwards and crashing into a tree where she slowly slid downwards in a daze.

Right after sending Akame away from him, Tatsumi quickly jumped to his feet, grabbed his sword he had drop the moment he got slashed and began inspecting the cut on his chest while mentally scolding himself. 'Damn it! Why did I let my guard down after hearing Mine's voice?! Now, my other important secret is out early in the timeline like my half human/half Danger-Beast one! My resistance to all poisons, including Murasame's cursed poison!'

"TATSUMI, YOU'RE ALIVE!" Aria shouted, tears of extreme relief streaming down her face upon seeing Tatsumi still alive and not dying like the other guard she doesn't care about. She was greatly resisting the urge to sprint over to him, hugged him tightly from behind before spinning him around and kissing him passionately on the lips. Whey they get done kissing passionately, she will beat him up senseless for scaring the hell out of her.

But either way, Aria was glad to see Tatsumi alive instead of dead.

(With Night Raid)

Although…not everyone was happy to see Tatsumi alive like Aria.

Like Akame, the other members of Night Raid were very much shocked upon seeing Tatsumi surviving against Murasame's cursed poison, a fact that is completely impossible since no one can survived it, not even ones who are highly resistant to all types of poison. Their shock increased ten-fold when he sent Akame flying away into a tree and quickly jumping upwards without any problems.

"WHAT?!" Leone screamed loudly, eyes wide as dinner plates as she gaped heavily at Tatsumi. "HE'S STILL ALIVE AFTER GETTING SLASHED BY AKAME'S TEIGU?!"

"BUT HOW?!" Lubbock shouted, his eyes also wide as dinner plates but his jaw was hanging open. 'I'm dreaming! I must be dreaming at the moment! There's no way what we just saw was real at all! It must be a dream! A rather bad dream! Yeah, that's right!'

Unfortunately for Lubbock…it wasn't a dream. What he just saw, along with the other members of Night Raid, had been very much real.

"THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" Mine screamed with a look of utter stunned disbelief on her face. Her body was feeling incredibly numb after witnessing the hybrid not being killed by Murasame's cursed poison and it took nearly much of her willpower to not pass out. "NO ONE CAN SURVIVED THE CURSED POISON! HOW THE FUCK DID HE DO IT?!"

'Is this a special feature of becoming a half human/half Danger-Beast hybrid? Being able to resist all types of poison, including Murasame's cursed poison?' Bulat thought, being the only person not shouting out loud like the other members of Night Raid, but he had a look of extreme shock on his face. 'It must be true since Leone mentioned she didn't know about the features the guy has as a Tyrant when she was on that date with him. So, I'm willingly to believe being able to resist all types of poison, included the cursed poison, must be a special feature, due to being a half human/half Danger-Beast hybrid.'

"What the hell are we going to do, guys?!" Lubbock exclaimed, turning to face his fellow assassins to see if they have a solution or plan. "If Akame's Teigu couldn't kill this guy, then it's possible our other weapons won't work on him!"

After taking a moment of recomposing himself upon seeing the half human/half Danger-Beast hybrid surviving Murasame's cursed poison, Bulat became completely serious as he quickly came up with a plan. "The first thing we're all going to do is stay calm and not panic."

"Stay calm and not panic?!" Mine repeated hysterically, turning to face Bulat with wide eyes. "How can we stay calm and not panic, Bulat, when we just witness something that should be completely impossible?!"

"Mine, I can understand your fear, but we can't afford to panic at the moment. If we do, then we will be making a huge grave mistake that could cause difficult problems for not only us but also the Revolutionary Army in the future. This is something we must ensure it never happens, otherwise we won't be able extinguished the corruption in the Empire and bring a better peaceful world for the country people as well as the citizens in the Capital."

There was silence as the other Night Raid members exchanged glances at each other. They can both see and understand Bulat's point of view. If they panic from seeing something that should be completely impossible, then they will be making a huge grave mistake, which could cause difficult problems for not only Night Raid but also the Revolutionary Army in the future. It will also be harder to extinguished the corruption in the Empire and bring a better peaceful world for the country people, along with the citizens in the Capital.

Night Raid must ensure they couldn't make a huge grave mistake that could cause difficult problems for not only themselves but the Revolutionary Army in the future, due to seeing a person surviving Murasame's cursed poison. They are still struggling to accept that rather unnerving fact to their heads.

"You're right, Bulat," Mine stated quietly a few moments later, breaking the silence. "We can't afford to panic and cause problems for not only us, but also the Revolutionary Army in the future from seeing someone surviving Murasame's cursed poison. I'm sorry for panicking."

"It's alright, Mine," Bulat said, placing a comforting hand on Mine's shoulder and giving her a smile. "Next time we're on a mission, try to keep a level and calm head. Understand?"

Mine smiled as well and nodded her head. "Got it."

"Guys, I hate to interrupt this moment, but can we please get back to the serious topic at hand?" Lubbock asked, wanting his fellow assassins to get back on the topic of the half human/half Danger-Beast surviving Murasame's cursed poison. "What exactly are we going to do with this guy? Akame's Teigu didn't have any effect on him whatsoever and like I said before, it's possible our other weapons won't work on him as well. What are we going to do?"

It was here Leone, who had done some quick serious thinking in her head, declared a suggestion to her fellow assassins, a suggestion that shook them to their very core.

"Why don't we have him join both the Revolutionary Army side and Night Raid, guys?"

And done! That's the ending of the chapter! Akame and the other members of Night Raid, except Sheele, has seen Tatsumi's resistance to Murasame's cursed poison and they are all very shocked. They are even more shocked when they heard Leone's suggestion. Will they accept the said suggestion after hearing the explanation or not? Find out in the next chapter.

I'm extremely sorry it took two months to write this chapter and even more when it's short instead of long. I did wanted to keep going, but I couldn't figure out how to write the next plot of the story. I'll see if I can get the next chapter longer.

Anyways, here is a new chapter for you guys to enjoy and I hope you like it.

Write a review if you like this story and enjoy the chapter.
