Deep in the woods, under the moonlight, a lone Koaleaf was carrying a small Dwebble threw the underbrush. Or at least, it looked like a Dwebble. The Pokémon didn't have a rock as a shell to live in, but a piece of coal. Either way, Koaleaf managed to bring it to a spot filled with trees with holes underneath them. Looking around to make sure it was safe, the Koaleaf set the Dwebble down next to a hole.
"Dweb, Dwebble," it said. It sounded like it was thanking Koaleaf.
"Leaf," Koaleaf reassured. Suddenly, however, it heard voices.
"C'mon! I think they went this way!" Koaleaf looked up to see a group of mysterious men in the shadows. However, Koaleaf knew exactly who they were.
It looked at the Dwebble and said, "Leaf, leaf, Koaleaf!"
"Dweb? Dwebble!" the Dwebble protested.
Suddenly though, a light came into them. "Aha! Gotcha!" Koaleaf hastily pushed the Dwebble into the whole, and prepared to fight.
"You didn't think you could get away, did you?" said the mysterious man. "Seviper, get him." In a flash of light, a Seviper appeared, but it wasn't like a normal Seviper. It's tail wasn't pointed, shaped more like a fin, its body smoother, and it had blue lines going down its long body. "Use Poison Fang!"
Koaleaf managed to dodge the attack and fight back with Razor Leaf. But the Seviper quickly slithered underneath the leaves and wrapped its body around Koaleaf with Constrict.
"That's quite enough," said the man, as he pulled out a PokéBall, which was indigo-colored. A beam of red light came out of it, but Koaleaf pulled against the Seviper until the snake Pokémon fell over. Koaleaf wriggled free before jumping at the man, knocking him down.
"You miserable little-" the man said. "That's it! I think you need to learn some manners!" The Seviper came down on Koaleaf, biting it with Poison Fang. Koaleaf stumbled away, now poisoned, but its eyes only looked at Sevpier and its trainer with anger.
Ash, Pikachu, Serena, Vernon, and RotomDex were relaxing at a picnic table, enjoying a nice lunch of sandwiches and sweets.
Ash has just won his latest Gym Badge from none other than Vernon. And while Serena lost her recent Pokémon Pageant, she remains as determined as ever. Now, our heroes are trying to figure out their next move.
"So, where do you think we should go from here, Rotom?" said Ash.
"Well, according to this," RotomDex said, looking over its maps and stuff, "the next Pagaent is taking place in Redfox Town, which isn't too far from here. We can go there so Serena can compete, then after that, the next Gym resides in the next city, Esterfall City."
"Sounds like a plan," said Serena. "We'll head through the right route."
Suddenly, the group heard some rustling nearby. They turned to see the Dwebble crawling its way towards them.
"Huh? Is that a Dwebble?" said Ash. "Doesn't look like any Dwebble I've ever seen."
RotomDex scanned it and said, "Dwebble, Ralian Form. The Coal Bug Pokémon. A Bug and Fire Type. In Ralia, many Dwebbles have made their homes in pieces of coal rather than normal rocks, and developed over time into this form. They now live underground to prevent their coal exterior from burning anything. Evolves into Ralian Crustle at level 34."
"Dweb, dwebble! Dweb, dwebble!" the Dwebble cried out.
"Hmm?" said Vernon. "I think it's trying to tell us something."
"It's saying... it needs our help," said RotomDex. "It's says... a friend of his is in danger."
"Danger?" said Ash.
"Dweb! Dwebble!" the Dwebble jumped up and down. It ran off towards the woods.
"Should we follow it?" said Serena.
"I think we should," said Ash, getting up.
The group had followed Dwebble for a while now, but it never seemed to stop. Everyone was panting just keeping up with it.
"Man, it just never stops, does it?" said Vernon.
"We must be getting close by now!" said RotomDex.
Suddenly, Ash heard a small cry nearby. "Leeeaaaf!" it cried out. He turned to see Koaleaf desperately stumbling out for the bushes. Purple bubbles coming out of its body, it collapsed on the ground.
"Whoa!" Ash quickly ran up to the poor Pokémon and picked it up. "Guys, look at this! What happened to you?"
The Dwebble saw Koaleaf and quickly ran over to it. "Dwebble, dweb!"
"Wait, is this the friend you were talking about?" said RotomDex, and the Dwebble nodded.
"Oh, no, it's beat up pretty bad," said Vernon. "And it looks like its poisoned too."
"What do we do?" said Ash.
"Uh, we have a problem," said RotomDex, pulling up a map. "The nearest Pokémon Center is a bit too far away."
"What?" said Serena. "Come on, there has to be somewhere we can go!"
"Hold on," said RotomDex, scrolling through its map. "Aha! Here's something! It says there is a shop nearby for travelers that carries all sorts of medicine."
"Perfect! Maybe they can help us," said Ash.
"Alright then! Follow me!" said RotomDex, flying off. Everyone else quickly followed after him, as Ash carried Koaleaf in his arms. Koaleaf managed to open its eyes, seeing Ash, who looked down to reassure it.
"Don't worry, you're gonna be okay," he said. Koaleaf just closed its eyes again, breathing slowly.
The group ran for what felt like hours, but finally, they could see some buildings in the distance. "Finally!" said Ash. "The shop has got to be over there somewhere."
The group ran to the buildings, seeing there were a lot of people around walking among them. They searched for the shop, until finally they could see it. But then, they gasped to see a sign in the window that read, "Closed for the day. Away on trip."
"Closed!?" said Ash. "They can't be closed!"
"Great, now what are we gonna do?" said Serena. Koaleaf groaned, and everyone looked at it concerned.
"No! Hang on, Koaleaf, you're gonna be okay!" said Ash.
In the bushes nearby, a group of shadowy people were watching the group. "Hmm, looks like they found Koaleaf," one of them said.
"And look, isn't that the Dwebble?" said another man.
"Looks like they're trying to help Koaleaf," said a female voice.
Suddenly, a voice came. "PokéBalls! Get your PokéBalls here!" Everyone looked to see a short woman walking along the path, carrying a box of PokéBalls. She saw our heroes standing nearby and smiled before walking up to them. "Hello, there! The name's Mildred! Can I interest you in a PokéBall of your choosing?"
"You're selling PokéBalls?" said Vernon.
"Sure! I come from a nearby PokéBall shop! I'm going around town to drum up some business for us!" Suddenly, Mildred saw Koaleaf in Ash's arms. "Oh, dear! What on earth happened this little guy?"
"We don't know," said Ash. "We just found it like this. We wanted to bring to this shop right here to get some medicine, but it's closed!"
"Oh, my!" said Mildred. "Hold on, I have an idea!" She pulled a Heal Ball out of her box and gave it to Ash. "Here. You can have a Heal Ball free of charge. Catch it with this, and it should heal Koaleaf instantly."
"Hey, thanks!" said Ash. He tapped the Heal Ball's button on Koaleaf's head, but then nothing happened.
"Huh? What gives?" said Serena. Ash kept trying, but to no avail.
"I don't get it, that should be working!" said Mildred. "Unless..."
"Unless what?" said RotomDex.
"Unless it has a Trainer already."
Nearby, the shadowy people were whispering to each other. "Alright, so you know the plan, right?"
"Sure, just leave that stupid Dwebble to us."
As our heroes were looking at Koaleaf, shivering from poisoning, they heard a voice coming to them. "Hey, you guys!" They all turned to see a tall man with dark red hair walking up to them. "Is that my Pokémon you've got there?"
"Um, I don't know. Who are you?" said Ash.
"The name's Bailey," said the man. He looked at Koaleaf, who was unconscious, and said, "Oh, yeah, that's my Pokémon, alright."
"How do we know it's your Pokémon?" said Serena.
"Relax, I've got its PokéBall right here," Bailey held up a normal PokéBall, before he used it to recall Koaleaf.
"Oh, so you are Koaleaf's Trainer!" said Vernon.
"Yeah, I'm definitely glad you found Koaleaf! We got into a nasty fight with another Pokémon before we got separated. I've been searching for it ever since."
"Wait, how'd you know where to find it?" said RotomDex.
"I just saw you kids running with a Koaleaf in your arms, and thought it must be mine."
"Oh, well, thank goodness we found you!" said Ash.
"Thank goodness you found Koaleaf!" said Bailey. "No worries, though. I can take it from here."
"How are you going to help Koaleaf?" said Vernon.
"Don't worry," said Bailey, holding out another PokéBall. "I've got a Pokémon that can fly me all the way to the nearest Pokémon Center." He pushed the button and out came a Tropius.
"Oh, good!" said Ash. "Well, good luck. Koaleaf's in a lot of pain."
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of it," said Bailey. However, as he hopped onto Tropius to fly away, RotomDex suddenly spoke up.
"Wait, you do know how to get to the nearest Pokémon Center, right?"
"Of course I do. Why do you ask?"
"Because it's that way," RotomDex pointed in the opposite direction Bailey was preparing to fly.
"...Oh. My bad," said Bailey as he turned.
"Wait, I have an idea!" said Ash, suddenly running up to him. "Why don't RotomDex and I come with you? That way we can guide you all the way there."
"What?" said Bailey. "Oh, thanks, but th-that won't be necessary."
"It's completely necessary, I'd say," said RotomDex.
"Look, if you're worried, just tell me the directions now."
"Koaleaf needs to get there as soon as possible!" said RotomDex. "You can get there much faster if we're there to guide you the whole way."
"I don't need your help!" Bailey suddenly snapped. Everyone was taken aback, but Bailey quickly calmed down and said, "Look, I appreciate you wanting to help, but I'm fine."
"We just want to make sure Koaleaf is okay," Ash insisted. "Come on, just let us come!"
Bailey growled under his breath, but seeing the look in Ash's eyes, somehow, he knew the boy wouldn't be taking no for an answer. "Fine. Get on."
Ash smiled as he and Pikachu jumped onto Tropius's back, RotomDex floating by them. "We'll be back, guys, don't worry!"
"Good luck, Ash!" said Serena as she, Vernon, and Mildred waved. Tropius then took off, carrying its passengers to the Pokémon Center.
"I hope they make it in time," said Vernon. Suddenly, he noticed something. "Wait, where'd that Dwebble go?"
"Huh?" said Serena. She looked down to the ground, but the Dwebble was nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly, they heard the Dwebble cry out. "Dweeeeeeb!" Everyone looked over to see some flames coming from the bushes nearby.
"Uh oh, sounds like Dwebble's in trouble! Come on!"
Who's that Pokémon?
This Pokémon spends its life gazing at the setting sun. Once a year, on a specific date and at a specific time, groups of them gather out of nowhere and form up in a circle.
Serena, Vernon, and Mildred ran through the bushes, and were shocked to see two people in black attacking Dwebble with a Ninetales and a Ferrothorn.
"You ain't getting away from us this time!" said the lady. "Use Fire Blast!"
"Use Energy Ball!" said the man. Their Pokémon used their attacks, but Dwebble was able to dodge.
"Hey!" said Serena. "What do you think you're doing?"
The two mysterious people turned to see their new audience, and the woman growled. "Great. Just when we didn't want any attention."
"If that stupid Dwebble hadn't slithered away from us..." said the man.
Suddenly, Serena gasped as she saw what the two were wearing. They were black uniforms with flat hats on their heads, and on their chests where giant red Rs. "Wait a second... I know who you are... You're with Team Rocket, aren't you!?"
The two just smirked and said, "Well, I guess our organization's reputation proceeds us." The two suddenly struck poses and announced themselves.
"Bonney!" said the woman.
"And Clyde!" said the man.
"At your service!"
"Team Rocket, huh?" said Vernon. "You're trying to catch Dwebble and give him away to your boss, aren't you?"
"Ooh, aren't you clever!" said Bonney. "Ninetales, let's eliminate our witnesses, shall we?"
"You too, Ferrothorn!"
As the Team Rocket Pokémon prepared to fight, Serena and Vernon sent out Braixen and Jelloater.
"Braixen, use Flamethrower!"
"Jelloater, use Electro Jab!"
The Pokémon clashed until Ninetales used Shadow Ball and Ferrothorn used Pin Missile. It nearly hit Braixen and Jelloater, but suddenly, Wobbuffet popped out of its PokéBall to stop it with Mirror Coat.
"Wobbuffet!" it blasted the attacks back, and managed to knock Ninetales and Ferrothorn back at their Trainers, knocking them down.
"Grr, we just had to come all this way for a Koaleaf, didn't we!?" said Clyde.
"Wait, what did you just say?" said Mildred. "You came for Koaleaf?"
Bonney and Clyde fell silent for a moment, but suddenly recalled their Pokémon and began to run for it. "Retreat!"
"Hey, wait!" said Serena, but they were long gone. She then looked down at Dwebble and said, "Well, at least they didn't hurt you."
"Dweb! Dweb, Dweb, Dweb!" said Dwebble!
"Hey, um, Dwebble," said Vernon. "About Koaleaf, do you know anything about a man named Bailey? Kinda tall, red hair?"
"Dweb! Dweb!" Dwebble cried out, suddenly frantic.
"I knew it!" said Vernon. "That means Ash is in trouble!"
It's Stonjourner!
Ash, Pikachu, RotomDex, and Bailey had arrived at the Pokémon Center, and Bailey had given Koaleaf over to the Nurse Joy. As Koaleaf was being treated, Ash, Pikachu, and RotomDex sat down on a couch.
"Whew, I can't believe we made it," said Ash. "I hope Koaleaf will be okay."
Suddenly, RotomDex started buzzing. "Um, Ash? I think we're getting a call."
Serena and Vernon appeared on Rotom's screen. "Ash, are you okay?" said Serena.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" said Ash.
"Listen, we just found out something terrible about Bailey," said Vernon. "He's... he's with Team Rocket!"
"Team Rocket?!" Ash blurted out loud.
"Shh!" Serena said, but it was too late. Bailey heard Ash's outburst. Looking over at Ash, he growled as he realized what was going on.
"Look, Bailey's dangerous, so you need to get away from him!" said Vernon.
"But what about Koaleaf?" said Ash. Suddenly, he heard a crash behind him. He turned to see Bailey was nowhere to be found, but then he heard more crashing in the operating room. "Sorry, guys, I gotta go!" He, Pikachu, and RotomDex ran into the back room, and gasped to see Nurse Joy lying on the floor.
"Nurse Joy!" Ash ran up to her as she slowly opened her eyes.
"Ugh, what happened?"
"You just couldn't stay out of this, could you, kid?" came a voice. Ash looked over to see Bailey, who was now decked out in his Team Rocket uniform.
"You... You're with Team Rocket?" said Ash.
"I just wanted my Pokémon back," said Bailey. "If that little runt would just do what it's told, none of this would have happened."
Ash growled and said, "I see. You were the one who hurt Koaleaf in the first place, aren't you!?"
"Koaleaf has got to learn," said Bailey. "And now, I'll have to send him to the boss for reconditioning. Once that's done, Koaleaf wouldn't dare disobey me again."
Ash growled and said, "Not if I can help it."
"Oh, you think I'm scared of you?" said Bailey, pulling out a PokéBall, which was dark purple with an R on it. He threw it and out popped his Seviper.
"What is that thing?" said Ash.
RotomDex scanned it and said, "Seviper. Ralian Form. The Water Snake Pokémon. A Water and Poison Type. In Ralia, without Zangoose around to hunt them, Seviper migrated into the sea and developed into this form. They hunt fish Pokémon underwater, stopping them with poison before dragging them to the surface. Does not evolve."
"If you insist on fighting me, kid, I won't hesitate to make you feel a world of pain," said Bailey. "Seviper, use Poison Fang!"
"Pikachu, use Iron Tail!" Pikachu jumped a stopped the Poison move with its Steel move.
"Liquidation!"
"Iron Tail!"
Pikachu and Seviper fought, and behind everyone, Koaleaf slowly sat upon its bed. As it opened its eyes, it was shocked to see Bailey standing before it. But them, it growled and jumped at its Trainer.
"Ack!" Bailey said. Koaleaf began scratching him up until it was knocked to the ground. "You little runt," said Bailey. "I'll deal with you later." He prepared to pull out Koaleaf's PokéBall, but couldn't find it. Suddenly, he saw Koaleaf was holding it in its hands, and as Koaleaf looked at Bailey, it scowled and ripped the fake red cover off it to reveal it was dark purple with a red R on it too. Then, it tore the ball apart with its remaining strength.
"Why, you little...!" said Bailey. Koaleaf grinned to itself, but then slumped down on the floor, still badly hurt. "Tropius, teach our little friend here some manners!"
Bailey sent out his Tropius, who prepared to attack with a Leaf Blade. But Ash, thinking quickly, pulled out the Heal Ball Mildred gave him and threw it. It pulled Koaleaf in just before Leaf Blade could hit, and it shook three times before clicking.
"No!" Bailey screamed. Suddenly, he heard a police siren. Great. The cops are here! Thinking quickly, he asked Tropius to use Hurricane, which blew Ash and Pikachu away. As they got up, they could see Bailey recalling his Pokémon and rushing out.
"No!" Ash said. "Great, he got away!" He looked over to the floor, and sighed in relief when he saw the Heal Ball was still on the ground. He walked over to it and picked it up before opening it. Out of it popped Koaleaf, who finally looked ll better.
"Leaf!" it cheered, and Ash smiled.
"Good to see you're finally all better!"
After a while, Ash, Pikachu, Koaleaf, and RotomDex were outside the Center, as the Officer Jennys interviewed Nurse Joy about the incident. RotomDex had received another call from Vernon and Serena.
"You caught Koaleaf? Really?" said Serena.
"You bet!" said Ash. "I tell you, when I realized just how much pain Bailey had put Koaleaf through..." he growled and clenched his fists. "Well, at least he can never hurt Koaleaf again."
"Leaf! Leaf!" Koaleaf spoke up suddenly. Everyone looked at it confused, but RotomDex suddenly chimed in.
"Hold on, I think Koaleaf is trying to say something."
"Leaf, Koaleaf!"
"Yeah... I think it wants us to catch Bailey!"
"What? How are we supposed to catch Bailey?" said Ash.
"Leaf, leaf, Koaleaf!" said Koaleaf.
"I think Koaleaf is saying it knows where Bailey is going."
"It does?" said Ash. Thinking for a second, he looked at Serena and Vernon on Rotom's screen and said, "You know what guys? Koaleaf is right. I think we can set a trap for Bailey! I'm going to ask Nurse Joy if she has a Ride Pokémon I can borrow."
Later, deep in the woods, Bonney and Clyde were loading Team Rocket PokéBalls into a rocket-shaped container.
"What's the point of this 'Rocket Prize Master' thingamajig again?" said Bonney.
"I don't know, the boss said something about grunts always having Pokémon on hand," said Clyde.
"Ah, there you are," came a voice. They turned to see Bailey walking up to them.
"Well, did you get Koaleaf back?" said Clyde.
"Ah, Koaleaf is long gone. Forget it. Let's just take the Pokémon we have now and take them back to headquarters."
"I don't think so!" said a voice. They all turned to see Ash, Pikachu, RotomDex, Serena, and Vernon all running up to them. "You're not gonna harm these Pokémon too!"
"These pests again?" said Bonney. "Ugh, listen, punks, these Pokémon now belong to the boss!"
"You guys won't be going anywhere!" said Vernon. "Not if we can help it!"
"Guess you won't listen to reason," said Bailey, before he threw out his Pokémon, Tropius and Seviper. Bonney and Clyde threw out Ninetales and Ferrothorn. Pikachu and Koaleaf readied themselves, and Serena sent out Braixen, and Vernon sent out Jelloater.
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu fired its electricity at Bailey's Pokémon, but they dodged and attacked back with Poison Fang and Leaf Blade.
Meanwhile, Braixen was clashing with Ferrothorn. "Use Flamethrower!" Braixen blasted a torrent of flames at Ferrothorn, doing a bunch of super effective damage.
"You brats are so annoying!" said Clyde. "Use Gyro Ball!" Ferrothorn spun and knocked Braixen back.
Meanwhile, Jelloater was fighting with Ninetales. "Venoshock!" Jelloater sprayed Ninetales with purple goo.
"You won't stop us with that! Use Shadow Ball!" Ninetales summoned a purple sphere and threw it, hitting Jelloater.
Pikachu was fighting hard with Tropius and Seviper, but the two moved fast. Soon, Seviper had Pikachu wrapped up. "Thunderbolt!" Ash said, but Pikachu was being held too tight to muster up enough electricity.
"You should have known better than to stick your noses where they didn't belong," said Bailey. "Now, I think its time for you to learn what happens when you cross Team Rocket. Tropius, use Leaf Blade."
Tropius prepared to use Leaf Blade, but it wasn't aiming at Pikachu, but at Ash himself. Ash gasped, but fortunatetly, Koaleaf jumped up and stopped Tropius with its own Leaf Blade, its arms turning into green blades. It managed to push Tropius back before it ran over to Seviper and slashed it, allowing Pikachu to break free.
"Nice one, Koaleaf!" said Ash before he looked at Bailey. "You see this? This is what it means for a Trainer and Pokémon to fight as one!"
"Pokémon are good for one thing and one thing only," Bailey said. "Serving us here at Team Rocket! Seviper, Liquidation! Tropius, Leaf Blade!"
Bailey's Pokémon charged forward with their attacks, but Ash looked down at Pikachu and Koaleaf, who looked at each other and nodded. Happy to see his Pokémon were already in sync, he said, "Pikachu, use Iron Tail! Koaleaf, use Razor Leaf!"
Ash's Pokémon intercepted Bailey's Pokémon's attacks, and stopped them in midair. But then, Ash said, "Koaleaf, surround them with Razor Leaf!" Koaleaf unleashed a torrent of leaves, surrounding Seviper and Tropius.
"You think that's going to do anything?" said Bailey. "Use Hurricane!" Tropius flapped its wings to blow the leaves away, but once everything was cleared, Pikachu and Koaleaf were gone.
Ash grinned. "Now use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu suddenly appeared above them and blasted them with electricity. "Now, tangle them up with Electroweb!" Pikachu threw a web of electricity and pinned the two Pokémon down. "Koaleaf, care to do the honors?" Koaleaf nodded and whipped out Leaf Blade again, slashing both Pokémon until they collapsed, defeated.
"No!" Bailey shrieked. "How? How could you possibly beat me!?"
"Simple. My Pokémon and I united under a simple purpose," said Ash. "To teach you a lesson!"
Behind Bailey, he heard a crash, and he turned to see Ferrothorn and Ninetales crash into each other. Braixen and Jelloater moved up to them and blasted them with a Flamethrower and Discharge, defeating them.
"No!" said Bonney and Clyde.
"Nice job, Braixen!" said Serena.
"Good work, Jelloater!" said Vernon.
"No, no..." Bailey said, before he looked at Ash. "You... I'm gonna...!"
"That's enough!" said a voice. Suddenly, a group of Officer Jennys had the Team Rocket goons surrounded. "We have you surrounded! Just come quietly!"
"Like that's gonna happen!" said Bailey. He pulled out more PokéBalls from his belt. "I'll take you all on!"
Serena growled, but then she saw she was next to the Rocket capsule. Getting an idea, she told Braixen to smash it open. Braixen blasted it open with a Flamethrower, and the balls scattered on the ground before opening up, revealing all the Pokémon Team Rocket had captured.
"Ha! And what are you trying to do, girlie?" said Bailey. "Those are our Pokémon! They serve us!"
However, all the Pokémon looked at Bailey, Clyde, and Bonney and growled in anger. "Uh, actually," said Bonney, "considering how we've treated them up until now..."
Suddenly, an Altaria rose up from the crowd and and used Sing. Its song quickly caused the Rocket goons to grow drowsy. Then, Ash looked at Pikachu, who understood and blasted them with Thunderbolt.
The three villains laid on the ground, as Bailey coughed up smoke. "Okay, we give up."
Bailey, Clyde, and Bonney were in the back of a police van, which then drove away. All the captured Pokémon were having their PokéBalls broken, setting them free.
"Thank goodness we saved these Pokémon," said a Jenny. "Team Rocket, I don't even want to imagine the horrible things they would have done to them."
"Well, whatever they did to them," said a Nurse Joy, "we'll be sure to heal them."
Ash, Serena, and Vernon sat back, ready to relax after the day they had.
"Man, that was crazy!" said Ash.
"You're telling me," said Vernon. "To think some true Team Rocket grunts came here to Ralia."
"It definitely makes me miss our favorite trio of clowns," said Serena.
"Yeah, well, Team Rocket's always been bigger than just those three," said Ash. "But if more than just them have come here, to Ralia..."
"Yeah, I don't want to even think," said Serena.
Despite this, Ash sighed and said, "Well, at least we beat them for now, and saved all these Pokémon."
"Leaf!" said Koaleaf, causing Ash to look down at it.
"Heh, yeah, especially you, Koaleaf. I'm so glad to have you on my team now. You were awesome out there, you know that?"
Koalead jumped into Ash's arms, as Ash laughed. Koaleaf, of course, was happy to finally be free of Bailey's abuse. And it was glad to save these other Pokémon from the same fate. And now it was happy to have a better Trainer in Ash.
Down below, Dwebble looked up at its friend. It was grateful to it for having saved it from Team Rocket before, even if it had to stay behind in the process. It was just glad Koaleaf now had the kind of Trainer it really deserved.
Ash and his friends have found that Team Rocket has truly come to the Ralia region, and now they still fear what they will do next. Still, it's not all bad, especially since they've gained a new friend. What happens now? Find out next time...
Later, Bailey, Bonney, and Clyde were taken before a a tall, blonde woman with blue eyes and a ponytail.
"More Rocket goons," she said. "Well, at least now, you'll never harm anyone again."
"You think you can keep us locked up?" said Bailey. "Giovanni will bail us out!"
"No. He won't. Because we have a special place for Team Rocket. And soon, all your little buddies will join you."
...as the journey continues!
