Chapter 3: A world of pain

Summary:

Uh oh.

Here's what happened when Iron fire was attacked.

Notes:

I had to give Genesis a normal type name. And I got tired of calling Apocalypse, his alias or name. So I chose Tsuyoi from Apocalypse's many aliases.

Also we are getting close to revealing what Raven truly is. My muse took control as he WAS going to be a really powerful mutant that was older than En Sabah Nur.

Chapter 3:

Scene Change

Mars Now known as Arakko.

The Genesis War has been ongoing and so far Genesis's army seems to be losing. But her son Famine took a chance and created a sword made up of water.

Once the sword was created, he moved in and stabbed Jon Ironfire in the stomach. That was a mistake, even when Raven had to blur Jon's memories, he left a link to Jon for just this occasion.

Famine was looking triumph when a fiery tower formed.

Out of that tower strolls Oris, who fires blades of light at Genesis's army.

From within the tower, a being wearing purple and red flies out and using the metal parts around him, Magneto had the parts flying about destroying some of Genesis's army.

Finally the flames die down revealing a very pissed off man. This man had long purple hair that was blowing back from his face and his eyes were a molten silver that was slowly changing to a stormy color. This was Raven Grey and he was furious.

Raven's black battle suit was skin tight and no skin showed. Around his waist was a purple belt that had a pentacle attached to it.

Raven begins to walk forward and ever so slowly he raises his hands and lets psychic lightning fly from his hands.

The psychic lightning was striking Genesis's army but it wasn't doing much good. So Raven decides to change powers or Weapons as the Arakki say.

Ever so slowly, Raven rises into the air, he knows that the Brotherhood of Arakko are the good guys but Raven is too blinded by his fury and his need to reach his husband.

Once Raven was high enough he formed diamond spears and let's them fly. Hitting and killing some of Genesis's army.

Soon he spies Jon still fighting Famine, the son of Apocalypse and Genesis. And so, Raven takes off towards Famine and Jon.

Once Raven was close enough, he descended from the sky with an angry screech and flames forming around him. The flames take the form of a large bird in the shape of a Phoenix.

Raven lands to the side of Famine and Ironfire when Raven sees a stream of water connecting Famine to Jon. Raven snorts and throws up a hand creating a shield that blocks Famine's Weapon.

Jon looks up and to the right and sees a very pissed off husband of his. Famine hums and then looks to the left. Famine sees a pissed off adversary and then turns to Raven and was about to begin absorbing water from Raven when Raven smirks.

Raven with a gleeful grin, wags his right forefinger saying "Naughty, Famine. You think you can get away with trying to kill my husband."

By the time Raven had finished talking he was screaming his words, making all the other combatants stop and stare.

Meanwhile Ororo Munroe Also known as Storm had seen the man encased in flames as he was descending on the battle network Ironfire and Famine. She prays to Lady Oshtur that this man wasn't the current incarnation of the Phoenix Force.

Storm was shocked when the man declared that Jon Ironfire was his husband. She slowly remembers a man with four husbands and that one was missing because he was in a thrall with a White Knight.

Storm and Ironfire say at the same time, "Raven."

Raven smiles, but turns back to Famine. "Where's Daddy, Lil Boy Blue?"

Famine snarls and he tries to remove liquids from this new member of the Brotherhood.

Raven just stands there and lets a strand of water connect him to Famine. Once he was sure that Famine had started to pull from his body, Raven conjured up some magical lightning that shocks the shit out of Famine.

As soon as Famine was down, Raven walked over to him and thrust his right hand into Famine's chest and ever so slowly removed his hand and was slowly removing Famine's heart.

You would think that this would kill Famine but it doesn't. It's magic that is involved and as long as magic is involved Famine's heart and life is whole.

Raven hastily conjures a special magical box and places the heart within. As long as magic exists and the heart was outside the body, Famine would remain alive or until Famine pissed someone off. Then they would either crush the heart causing instant death or return the heart to the body and then kill the body.

Storm, Ironfire and Genesis were surprised by Raven's heart rip of Famine.

Raven just smiles. "What did you think? That by me ripping out your heart you would die. Bitch please. With your heart in my possession I control you, Boy?"

Genesis roars out "no!" and her hands glow green with the eye Horus in the middle. Vines sprout from Arakko and try to wrap themselves around Raven but he just smiles.

Raven says "Famine, defend me from her."

Famine snaps to formation and walks over to stand in front of Raven. Famine then forms a hydrokinetic shield in front of him. When the vines are close enough, Famine begins to absorb the water from the vines.

Raven looks around and says, "I think we need a little more help to win this."

And with those final words, Raven has his right hand glow gold and he rips a portal into space and time. You see in a dark and distant future, there was a mutant by the name of Matthew Malloy. And he was one of the rare few who had powers on par of Those known as Gods and is on par with Raven.

Once the portal was open, Raven sticks his head in and spots his cousin. Raven smiles and with his right hand now glowing purple, Raven pulls Matty forward and through the portal.

Matt looks around and notices a battle going on and finally his cousin Raven.

Raven makes his eyes glow with the bird wings appearing on either side of his head, while his hands are still glowing purple.

With a quick touch of Raven's hand to Matthew's head, Raven was using his telepathy to pass along information about what was going on.

When Raven quits glowing, Matthew says, "This is going to be fun."

And with those final words from Matthew he lifts himself up into the air and flies off, flinging telekinetic blasts at the enemy.

Raven just smiles, Genesis snarls out, "Just what are you."

Raven starts to walk in her direction, but it's a slow and steady walk almost seductive in nature.

Raven replies, "My dear child, I'm older than you. When you were in Diapers I was fighting in wars. You see I know your husband Apocalypse, we met and talked after his father's death and long before he met you. When he was worshiped as Huitzilopochtli, I was worshiped as Xōchipilli. He was Seth from ancient Egypt and I was Thoth. I'm older than En Sabah Nur and older than that bitch Selene Gallio."

Genesis screeches, "You slept with my husband."

Raven roars with laughter. He snarls, "Tsuyoi was my best friend for years. He knew that survival was necessary but after meeting you and sending those of the Arakki mutants to Amenth's dimension he took the philosophy Survival of the fittest mutant to a scale that he never wanted. He wasn't born to kill, you made him that way. I hate you Asherah, you changed the man I considered my brother. And now since you want war; how about i give you some"

And with those final words, Raven raises both hands in the air, summoning forth Astarte and Reseph two ancient deities of war. He's had it with this freaking war.

The clouds darken above Arakko to a blood red, and lightning begins to strike at the enemies to the Brotherhood of Arakko. Then the lightning begins to strike Raven, but instead of killing him like Genesis wanted, the red lightning was strengthening him.

Raven had finally finished his walk and was standing in front of Asherah, his clothes had changed into a Phoenix avatar outfit with a long black cloak with a hood attached.

He says, "You really think I never knew about your powers. I know that some think that Annihilation was holding you under its thrall but in fact that first instance you unleashed one power that you had been subconsciously using on Tsuyoi, you were an Alpha level telepath with the Omega level ability of Plant Manipulation. I mean you sent a grandchild off to die and then had Famine kill Zsora of the Spirit Flame in front of her husband and two children."

Genesis smirks and tries to attack Raven's mind but he's an Omega Level telepath, a Psionic of Highest Order plus his telepathy was always battle ready.

Raven's eyes flash and with a single powerful telepathic push, he throws Genesis out of his mind and she lands on her ass.

Genesis gets back up and asks, "How did you do that?"

Raven smirks, "Oh hunny. I'm stronger than you. One of my husbands stylized himself as the Mutant Shaman of Earth. He is a god just like me. He's an Omega Level telepath, a psionic of The Highest Order and an Omega Level Threat. He was born from the DNA of Jean Elaine Grey and Scott Nathaniel Summers."

Genesis begins to curse. She has screwed up badly. She was hoping to just take on the fucking Windrider, but things have gone to shit. She didn't plan on a Grey or Summers's lover to be in this era.

Genesis turns to her daughter War and watches as she tries to kill Storm but her flames were washed away.

Raven walks over to War's body and places a bubble around it. He then teleports the body back to his base on Earth. He knows that her body might be dead but for some reason, War's soul lingered.

Raven glanced down and sees Vermilion, the Red Sword of War, he picks it up and with the hilt facing Storm hands it to her.

Ororo takes the sword and looks to Raven. She gasps as she sees that Genesis had created a sword and was trying to kill Raven.

Raven gasps as he is stabbed in the back. Raven looks down and sees a green plant-like sword sticking out of his abdomen.

Ironfire screams in rage, while a few feet from him a portal begins to open
