Chapter 4: Genesis's Defeat
Summary: Uh oh.
Genesis is gonna get it. And that Coven will too.
Ravens huge secret will be revealed.
Notes: Ok. So I didn't plan on Raven to be what he is. I had planned on him to be older than En Sabah Nur. But not this old and Immortal.
Chapter 4: Genesis's Defeat
From within the portal outcomes multiple mutants and Raven's other husbands. They have just stopped after arriving on Arakko.
Everyone was stunned that Asherah would cheat in battle. But this woman was crazier than En Sabah Nur and that was saying something.
Ironfire was so furious that he produced metal spikes all over his body. He begins to fire them at Asherah but she deflects them with the Sword called Purity.
Asherah then uses her plant powers to attack the others while Miguel and Akihiro slowly remove the sword from Raven.
Raven was slowly healing as his body was fighting off a poison that was born in the Amenth dimension.
Soon there was a Roar and a terrible earthquake shook them all.
Once everyone can see, they see a man that was massive, and muscled that was considered beyond the norm for humans and other Mutants, with the exception being Cain Marko also known as the Juggernaut.
The man stood about seven feet tall, from his bald head you could see two massive horns that were gray in color with rings of blue. From his back appeared two massive wings that were blue in color but had the appearance of feathered wings.
Asherah says, "Beloved, you've arrived to see me kill the blasphemer."
This beloved turns out to be En Sabah Nur and he's furious. Oh he's not mad at the person he considers being his brother. He's furious at his wife.
He snarls out, "You fool. I chose him over you. He's my best friend, my brother. And you dare attack him and try to kill him. That's not something that I will forget or forgive. I know what you have planned. You want to rule Arakko and then conquer the rest of the galaxy. When will it be enough?"
Asherah laughs, "Never. I see you have found out my plan. Yes I plan to rule the cosmos and once this interloper dies, you shall return to my side."
A voice filled with fury calls out "ENOUGH!!
Asherah and En Sabah Nur all turn to the voice, they see that the guy Raven was floating in mid air and glowing.
Raven was tired of keeping his secrets. "I am in this body known as Raven O'Hara Grey Howlett Ironfire. But it seems as if I must take back my mantle."
Jon asks, " What mantle?"
Raven replies, "I was once the Elder God of Magic. My sister is Chaos the Elder Goddess of the Chasm of Air and the void; the mother of birds. All life came from her and all magical life came from me. But over time I got bored and at one point in humanities history I shucked off my mantle as an elder god and became a very powerful immortal sorcerer."
Akihiro asks, "Who were you?"
Raven smirks, "I'm not that naive love. The minute my name is spoken, Asherah could hold more power. But I've been known as Xōchipilli, Thoth, Hecate, Isis, Anulap, Baron Samedi, Baron La Croix and Baron Cimetière. I miss being the Barons."
Genesis snarls and uses the plant life to try and attack Raven yet again. But this time she is blocked by her husband.
Raven snaps his fingers and the staff of Annihilation flies from Asherah's hands. Once the staff was in Raven's hands he could feel the telepathic fingers of Annihilation trying to control him.
Raven makes his hands glow black as the void, once his hands are glowing he inserts his right hand into the staff. He's feeling around for Annihilation's soul stone. Once Raven has grasped hold of the stone, he pulls out of the staff's mask a black multifaceted stone. The blackness that was the evil of the soul was darker than that of an obsidian stone
Once the stone is out, the mask/staff crumbles into dust; While Asherah screams out "No."
Raven meanwhile opens a portal to his home back on Earth and with a punch of a code he opens his secret vault to store the soul until he can deal with it later.
The Arakkii mutants and those from the Amenth dimension can feel that their brains are no longer on fire. Annihilation's telepathic possession of others made it feel as if one's brain was on fire or covered with darkness.
Sobunar and the others realize what they have done when they were possessed by Annihilation. They see the dead bodies of their fellow Arakkii mutants all around them.
Asherah wasn't happy to be losing the Civil War. But she had plans up, her sleeveless shirt. She brings her glowing green hands together and concentrates.
After about 10 minutes of concentrating, she slams her hands down hard on the ground of Arakko.
Soon green forms sprout from the ground, Raven curses as he recognizes the beginning of Karpoi being raised.
And Raven was right, but instead of just a couple there seems to be hundreds popping up. Raven sighs, he hates to destroy these things but when they are created they are usually evil no matter who creates them.
Raven stomps his right foot down, making a marsquake to disrupt Genesis's plan. She stumbles and loses concentration. Next Raven conjures magical flames that he unleashed on all of the Karpoi.
Once the Karpoi are Ash, Raven's telepathy goes off and he pauses.
On earth The Hellfire Gala has just started, Raven looks at Asherah, he focuses his telepathy and reads the plans that she has made with Coven Akkaba and their High Priestess Marianna Stern.
Soon enough both Raven and Nate gasp as the sense Orchis is on Krakoa, but then let out a roar of rage. They have just sensed Jean Grey's death. She is Nate's mom and Raven's mother-in-law.
Akihiro grabs a hold of Nate while Miguel grabs a hold of Raven. Once the two were anchored, Nate takes Ironfire plus Akihiro and teleports back to Earth.
Raven steadies himself and takes a deep breath. He then summons forth all of his magical might.
He begins
"I summon forth from All dimensions
Coven Akkaba,
the High Priestess Marianna Stern, and the high Warlock Reuben Brousseau."
The mutants that had been fighting are moving towards Ororo's side. They hate that they were brainwashed by Genesis. And they know that shits about to get weird.
Soon a red mist is seen,and from out of the mist steps a woman who looks like a librarian. Her blonde hair was up in a bun while her blue eyes were hidden behind glasses. This was the High Priestess Marianna Stern.
A second person steps out from the mist; an elderly looking man wearing what seems to be an expensive suit and on top of the suit was a dark burgundy robe. His gray hair was pulled back into a small ponytail. His blue eyes were sparkling with fury. This was the High Warlock Reuben Brousseau.
About eleven out people step out from the red mist as the mist finally dies down.
Raven pats Miguel's hands to let him go. He walks forward giving a sly smirk.
Raven says "Welcome Coven Akkaba! I am Raven Grey O'Hara, Ironfire Howlett. I have many names and Raven is just one of many. I am also the Elder God of Magic, Sorcery, Witchcraft, Crossroads, Boundaries, Ghosts, Necromancy, Night, Infinite Names, and Chaos."
All the members of Coven Akkaba burst out laughing. They can't believe that this ordinary looking human was an Elder God.
Raven sighs, he pulls forth his godly powers and he begins to grow and glow. He has tentacles form and has them smash around the Coven.
Raven says in a dark voice, "Do you now understand foolish children? You magic users aligned with an anti-mutant terrorist organization. And you don't think they have ways of rendering you obsolete. Pathetic!"
The High Priestess Marianna growls and forms a fireball in her hands. She throws it at Raven but one of his tentacles just slams it back into Mars.
Raven hisses then creates magical arrows that fly into the bodies of the members of Coven Akkaba. The arrows had been glowing Gold, and are now slowly turning gray.
Once the arrows are fully gray, they fall from the bodies of the Coven Akkaba members. The arrows don't fall to the ground but fly back to Raven who absorbs the magic from the Coven.
Raven stops glowing and shrinks back to his six feet tall height. He looks to Ororo, "Take good care of Coven Akkaba. And I believe that my brother Apocalypse will help you with his wife."
Raven begins to turn away, he pauses, "Dear Death, catch your brother's heart." And with those final words, Raven tosses in Death's direction the box that contains the heart of his brother.
Raven opens a portal and just as he was about to step through, Death says, "Call me Anpu, Uncle."
Raven begins to cackle as Miguel tugs him through the portal.
