A few days later, all the UA students returned to campus. Just five minutes away from the main school building, student dorms were built, Heights Alliance.

Nezu was in the main school building looking out at the new dorms, "The new dorm system we put into place isn't just to ensure the safety of our students. It's also how we're addressing one of the threats we've yet to take care of. The leak. A feeling of unease had settled upon our school. To help alleviate that, we'll be holding a private, behind the scenes investigation. It pains me to suspect not just the teachers, but the students as well. Unfortunately, right now, I have no other choice. We've lost the Symbol of Peace. And I have no doubt that this will have big ramifications for us as time passes. What UA needs right now is positive energy and revitalization. We must remind the children that there's a bright future ahead of them despite what they've endured."

Aizawa met with Class 1-A in front of their new dorm, "Given everything that has happened, I'm glad we were able to bring Class A back together."

Sero said, "So, we all got the go ahead to move onto campus."

Toru sighed, "It took a lot of convincing for my parents."

Jiro agreed, "I was pretty concerned about mine."

Oijiro said, "It makes sense. You got the worst of the gas attack."

Tsuyu said, "We're glad to see the teachers got to come back, too. I was afraid you wouldn't be allowed. The people at the press conference seemed pretty upset with you guys." Ochaco nodded in agreement.

Aizawa replied, "I was surprised, as well. But circumstances have changed."

Kaminari added, "I'm also surprised that Danny didn't get into major trouble for helping All Might in that fight against that masked guy."

Aizawa explained, "He's been assigned a specific teacher that will keep a closer eye on him. That's all I can say."

Everyone looked at Danny, who shrugged, "Sorry. It's between me and the teacher."

Aizawa continued, "Now, then. I'll explain how your dorm assignments will work shortly. First, however, we haven't forgotten about the provisional hero licenses you were supposed to get during the training camp."

Sato said, "Oh, yeah. That's what we were there for."

Mina added, "So much has happened, it totally slipped my mind."

Danny sighed, "Man, that's what I need to get, asap.

Aizawa continued, "This is important. Listen well. Kirishima. Todoroki. Yaoyorozu. Midoriya. Iida. And of course, Fenton. You six were the ones who broke the rules and went to rescue Bakugo that night. And as Kaminari pointed out, Fenton, you interfered in the fight."

Everyone reacted in a way that Aizawa expected, "Based on your reactions, I assume the rest of you were at least aware of their plan. I'm going to set aside a number of issues and just say this. If it weren't for All Might's retirement from the Hero scene, I would expel everyone here except Bakugo, Jiro, and Hagakure. The six of you who went, of course. Especially Fenton since personally got involved in the fight. You disappointed me the most, despite your clearly superior level compared to the rest of the class. Also the remaining 11 who didn't stop them. You betrayed our trust. Even if it was to keep your friends from getting into trouble. In order to regain our confidence, you'll need to obey every rule to the letter, and live as model students. Especially you, class rep. That's all. Now. Look alive. Enjoy your new home."

Class 1-A all thought the same thing, "We're supposed to be excited after that speech?"

Bakugo looked over at Kirishima and saw the shame on his face. He huffed, grabbed Kaminari, dragged him behind the hedge, and made Kaminari shock himself. Kaminari walked out from behind the hedge with a dopey look on his face.

Jiro laughed uncontrollably. Sero asked, "Dude, what'd Bakugo do to you?"

Bakugo walked up to Kirishima and handed him money. Kirishima asked, "Whoa, did you shake him down for cash?"

Bakugo replied, "No, this is my money, you idiot! To replace what you spent."

Kirishima asked, "How'd you know I bought night vision goggles?"

Bakugo shoved the money to Kirishima and walked away, "Don't say I never gave you anything. Now I'm not in your debt. Kaminari, show 'em your dumb side."

Kaminari kept showing off his dopey face and Jiro laughed, "Oh, man. What a moran. You're so hopeless." Everyone else laughed too.

Kirishima whispered to Bakugo, "Thanks, man."

Bakugo walked up to Danny, "Fenton, I know you risked your livelihood to save me. I have a feeling you won't accept money. I'll think of something to get out of your doubt."

Danny smiled, "Don't worry about it."

Bakugo huffed, "Don't mention this to anyone."

Aizawa looked back at the class laughing, "Sometimes blowing off steam is the best thing to do, I guess."

Kirishima shouted, "I know this doesn't make up for anything, but let's go out to dinner! All on me!"

Everyone cheered.

Aizawa led everyone inside the dorm, "Each student dormitory holds one class. Girls are on the right and boys are on the left. The entire first floor is a common area. That's where you'll find your kitchen, baths, and laundry rooms."

Sero pointed out, "There's even a courtyard."

Mina laughed, "So spacious and new!"

Ochaco looked like she was about to pass out, "I'm living in a mansion."

Danny looked around, "This feels very much like Hogwarts to me. Even more US college dorms aren't this nice."

Aizawa continued, "Living quarters start on the next floor. Four boys and four girls on each level. Everyone gets their own room. You should be comfortable. You've got your own AC, toilets, fridges, and closets."

Izuku noted, "We have balconies? Wow!"

Momo looked around, "This room is about the same size as my closet at home, but I'll manage."

Danny chuckled, "Typical rich girl thing to say.

Ochaco fainted, "It's the size of my house!"

Aizawa handed them a packet, "These are your dorm assignments. The belongings you sent ahead have already been placed in your new rooms, so spend the day unpacking and getting settled. I'll tell you more about your next few lessons tomorrow. For now, get to work."

"Yes, sir," Class 1-A responded.

The assignments were as followed, Danny, Izuku, Yuga, and Tokoyami on the 2nd floor, Koda, Kaminari, Tenya, Oijiro, Jiro, and Toru on the 3rd floor, Shoji, Kirishima, Bakugo, Ochaco, and Mina on the 4th floor, and Sato, Shoto, Sero, Momo, and Tsuyu on the 5th floor.

Later that night, everyone finished unpacking. Kirishima groaned as he sat on the couch in the common area, "Ah, I'm so beat."

Sero agreed, "You and me both. You done unpacking?"

Kirishima replied, "I think so."

Izuku asked, "Feels good, right?"

Danny nodded, "Yeah, feels like I'm in college already."

Kaminari said, "I know we could've died. But it's kind of exciting to be living here."

Tenya agreed, "A unified class. It's the perfect way to increase our cooperation and discipline. How smart!"

Danny chuckled, "If that's what you think, dude."

Kirishima asked Tenya, "So you never relax, do you?"

They all heard Mina say, "Hiya, boys. All done with your rooms?" They all turned to see Mina, Ochaco, Momo, Jiro and Toru walk towards them.

Kaminari answered, "Yup, we're just unwinding now."

Mina then said, "Well, the girls and I have been talking and…"

Toru interrupted, "We have a great idea."

Mina nodded, "Let's go around and see who has the coolest room."

The boys were shocked, for various reasons. But everyone got dragged along for the ride.

Izuku's room was first, and he shouted, "No, wait, you can't go in there! Please, it's not fit for…"

But it was too late, everyone saw that Izuku had All Might memorabilia everywhere. The girls squealed.

Ochaco said, "It's All Might everywhere. You're such a fanboy!"

Izuku muttered, "Well, I admire him…..this is embarrassing."

Danny pushed everyone out, "OK, I think Izuku's had enough. Everyone out."

Kaminari asked the other boys, "Does this mean they're judging our rooms, too?"

Sero nodded, "Probably, could end up having a good time."

Tokoyami was standing in front of his door, "No way." But he was pushed out of the way and people went inside, and the room was very dark, literally and figuratively.

Mina and Toru whispered, "So dark and scary!"

"You fiends," Tokoyami said.

Kirishima held up a keychain, "Oh, man. I had a keychain like this when I was in middle school."

Mina said, "So this is how boys like to decorate."

Danny noticed Tokoyami's uneasiness, so he dragged anyone he could out just as Tokoyami said, "Please leave."

Izuku was able to see something in the corner of the room, "A sword? So cool."

Danny grabbed Izuku by the collar as Tokoyami shouted, "Get out!"

"On it, dude," Danny replied. "Chill out."

Yuga was next, and his room was very sparkling. Yuga asked, "Aren't you dazzled?"

Danny rolled his eyes as the rest of the boys were muttering, "Shiny."

Yuga shook his head, "It's not shiny, it's magnifique."

The girls seemed to agree with Danny. "Exactly what I pictured," Toru muttered.

Mina added, "Honestly, I expected more."

Ochaco was skipping along, "This is turning out to be really fun! Wait, the last person on this floor is Danny."

Danny sighed, "Alright, fine, I'll show you my room."

He opened the door and everyone saw posters and memorabilia all about space. Everyone was shocked.

Izuku said, "I didn't know you loved space this much!"

Danny shrugged, "Yeah, my original dream was to become an astronaut, but my grades won't help me get into NASA anytime soon."

Momo looked around and saw a photo on his desk that showed Danny with Sam and Tucker. "Are those your friends from America?"

Danny nodded, "Yeah, Tucker is the guy with the glasses. Sam is the goth. She's the rich girl I mentioned to you before that hides the fact that she's rich."

Momo nodded, smiling down at the photo.

Everyone walked to the third floor. Oijiro was up first.

Ochaco commented, "Oh, it's so bare in here."

Toru asked, "Did you move anything in here at all?"

Mina added, "Please tell me you just haven't unpacked yet."

Oijiro muttered, "Um, if we're done here, then let's go."

Tenya's room was up next, and his room was full of organized books.

Ochaco said, "Whoa! It looks like a whole library in here!"

Mina added, "That's the co class rep for you."

Tenya commented, "You'll find nothing odd in here."

Ochaco laughed, "You have so many glasses."

Tenya argued, "Of course I do! I expect them all to be destroyed during training!"

Kaminari's room was next, and all the girls said, "Really?" As his room seemed really mismatched.

Jiro added, "This is the store in the mall I'd avoid."

Kaminari argued, "What? It's perfect!"

Koda's room was up next. His was plain, with the exception of having a pet rabbit.

All the girls oohed and awwed.

Kaminari argued to Koda, "Hey, no fair. We don't get pets. You're trying to buy the judges' love."

Ochaco said, "Let's finish up with the boys. Then, to be fair, we'll do our rooms after."

Everyone went up to the fourth floor. Ochaco asked, "Who all is on the fourth floor?"

Momo answered, "Bakugo, Shoji, and Kirishima."

Tenya asked, "Where is Bakugo?"

Kirishima answered, "Uh, he thought this was lame, so he went back to his room to sleep. I could use some Zs, too."

Toru said, "Then we'll do your room next."

Mina added, "You can sleep all you want after."

Once at Kirishima's room door, he said, "Not that I care. But you might not get what I'm going for." He opened the door. "A den of manliness!" It had several pieces of workout equipment.

Toru said, "If I found out my boyfriend had a room that looked like this, I'd dump him."

But Ochaco said, "So bold! Makes me wanna work out!"

Kirishima replied, "You get it."

Mina said, "Next up, Shoji."

Shoji led everyone to his room, "You're not gonna find anything interesting here."

There was literally nothing in his room, just a pillow, some blankets, and a small desk.

Danny said, "Uh, more like nothing at all, dude."

Shoto looked over at Shoji, "So, you're a minimalist?"

Shoji replied, "I've just never understood why someone would wanna fill their room with junk."

Toru said, "All done. Let's head up to the fifth floor."

Mina added, "We'll start with Sero."

Sero asked, "Are we seriously doing everyone?"

He led everyone to his room, and everyone was shocked at how well designed it was."

"Exotic!" Mina exclaimed.

"It's lovely," Ochaco added.

Jiro turned to Sero, "I didn't peg you for someone who'd like this stuff."

Sero nodded, "Yep, that's me, always the wild card."

Momo asked, "Next is Todoroki's room, right?"

Shoto sighed, "Let's get this over with. It's late."

Everyone was shocked at how Japanese it was. Kaminari exclaimed, "It's even built differently!"

Shoto explained, "We've got these kinds of floor mats at my home. They're much more comfortable than hardwood."

Danny asked, "How did you remodel this entire room in just one day?"

Shoto answered, "With hard work."

Kaminari chuckled, "You are a beast."

Toru commented, "He'll make such a good pro."

Sato sighed, "Pretty boys have tricks up their sleeves."

Mina said, "The last of the guys is Sato."

Everyone entered his room, it had some cooking supplies, but everything else was plain.

Sato sighed, "Anyway, it's a pretty boring room."

Kirishima argued, "All of them are after Todoroki's."

Oijiro commented, "Something smells good, though. What is it?"

Sato shouted, "Oh, crap! I forgot about that! I finished unpacking really early. So I started to bake a chiffon cake. I thought we could all eat it together. It hasn't been iced yet, but what some?"

The girls squealed with delight as the boys thought, "The strong guy's an expert baker?!"

The girls loved Sato's cake. Momo said, "I think it's great that you have such a fun hobby, Sato. Would you like to bake something to go with my tea one day?"

Sato was shocked, "Uh, I seriously didn't expect this reaction. Mostly I bake as part of my training for my sugar Quirk. Store bought sweets can get pricey."

Toru said, "That's it for the boys. Now, it's our turn, ladies."

Jiro sighed, "Ah, man, that's so many rooms. Shouldn't we turn in?"

Mina said, "Come on, Jiro, live a little."

Everyone went to Jiro's room first. "It's kind of embarrassing."

Her room was full of musical equipment.

Kaminari shouted, "Whoa, you've got so many instruments!"

Toru explained, "It's because Jiro's totally punk rock."

Ochaco asked, "Can you play all these?"

Jiro nodded, "Yeah, at least a little."

Danny looked at some of her CDs, "I listened to a lot of these same bands. You have good taste." Jiro blushed a little.

Kaminari said to Yuga, "Your room's girlier than this."

Yuga replied, "Because I've got style!"

Jiro used her earphone jacks to shock Kaminari and Yuga, "We're done here."

Toru said, "Next is me! Welcome in, guys! What do you think?"

Her room was very girly.

Kaminari said, "Now this is girly. So pink!"

Mina then said, "We can do mine next! Ta-dah! Isn't it super cute!" Everyone was impressed.

Ochaco's room was next, and hers was plain. "Yeah, it's not very interesting, I know."

Izuku said, "Next is Asui,"

Sero asked, "Wait, where is Tsu? Haven't seen her."

Ochaco answered, "Oh, she wasn't feeling too good. So she's in her room."

Kaminari said, "Well, we shouldn't bother her. She can show us later when she's feeling better."

Sero said, "The last one up is Yaoyorozu."

Momo replied, "The thing is, I maybe miscalculated a few things. My room's a little bit more cramped than I intended. And maybe not as creative as some of yours."

She opened her door and revealed a giant bed along with a vanity table and huge bookcase."

Kaminari shouted, "That bed is huge! You can't even walk in here!"

Momo sighed, "It's my furniture from home, so I thought it'd fit. I had no idea how small these dorm rooms would end up being."

Danny chuckled, "Typical rich girl. Still, your room looks nice." Momo blushed.

Everyone went down to the common room and cast their votes. Mina said, "All right, everybody. Has everyone got their votes in? Remember, you can't pick yourself, guys." She counted up all the votes. "And now, without further ado, here are the results of the first Best Room competition, minus Bakugo and Tsu. Drumroll, please! With a total of five votes, the overwhelming winner of this totally awesome contest is Rikido Sato!"

Sato was shocked. Mina explained, "By the way, all the girls voted for you. Because that cake was delicious. I want some more."

"That's why?!" Sato shouted.

Kaminari was pissed, "You villain! Aspiring heroes shouldn't resort to bribery!"

Sato replied, "It wasn't on purpose. But what the heck?!" Kaminari attacked him out of jealousy.

Shoto asked, "Is it over? Can I sleep now?"

Tenya answered, "Yes, and since you had cake, don't forget to brush your teeth!"

Danny chuckled, "OK, dude. Chill."

Izuku said, "Thanks for sticking it out."

Shoto turned to go back upstairs, but Ochaco said, "Hey! Todoroki, wait a minute. Deku, Danny, and Iida, you, too. Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, you have a sec? It's really important."

The six followed Ochaco outside. Kirishima asked, "So, where are we going?"

Danny noticed Tsuyu nearby, all alone. He also noticed a sad look on her face. "I think I have an idea."

Ochaco walked up to Tsuyu, "Right here. Tsu said she had something she wanted to tell everyone."

Tsuyu said, "You guys know I'm pretty straightforward, and always speak what's on my mind. But sometimes, I don't know. I'm at a loss. Remember what I said at the hospital? When you were talking about the rescue."

Izuku nodded, "Yeah. Every word."

Tsuyu continued, "My heart was hurting. And the things I said must've upset you."

Ochaco rubbed Tsuyu's back, "It's OK, Tsu."

Tsuyu continued, "Despite my warning, you still went and saved Bakugo. I didn't know that until this morning. Although, I knew Danny personally got involved in the fight, as I saw it all on TV. But everyone, I thought I'd stopped you. But it turns out I was worthless. A complete failure. And suddenly I had no idea what to say. I didn't think I deserved to joke around and have fun with everyone like usual. But it made me so sad to be without you. That's why I wanted to talk to you. Even if I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be feeling. I wanted you to know so we can hang out and talk and have a good time again." She started to cry.

Ochaco added, "It's not just you who thinks that. Everyone felt pretty bad and wanted things to go back the way they used to be before. That's why we did the room contest. To bring us closer together and make us feel like a class again. It's all we could come up with, so please don't think we were trying to trick you or anything. Look, what I'm saying is, let's all work hard at our training and be good friends again, OK?"

Danny stepped forward, "If anyone should apologize, it's me. All the fault should be on my shoulders. I'm the class rep, I should be thinking about what's best for all of us, not just myself. I let my nature get the better of me. I felt like a failure when I couldn't rescue Bakugo back at the camp. So the thought of rescuing him took over everything. I was the convincing factor for everyone else to join me on that mission. I remember your words at the hospital. And I remember thinking that you were wrong. What I'm about to tell you is something I haven't told anyone since moving here. Back home, in my small town, I was a vigilante. We didn't have any pro heroes there and the crimes being committed were ones only I could stop because of the type of Quirk I have. For a long time, people hated me. They were afraid of me. Some even wanted me dead. But I took their hurt and anger and pushed it aside because my desire to save those I love and care for mattered so much more. If you still think that lines more up with being a villain, that's fine. We can have our own opinions. But I still want to apologize for making you worry and feeling like that. It was not my intention. I want things to go back to how they were, too. Please forgive me."

Tsuyu looked up with her tear stained eyes and saw the raw emotion on Danny's face. She stared into his eyes and saw the pain behind them.

Kirishima ran up to Tsuyu, "Tsu! I'm sorry! Thanks for telling us how you feel."

"It's OK," Momo added.

"I apologize," Tenya said.

Shoto added, "You shouldn't feel bad."

Izuku sighed, "Tsu, I'm sorry."

Kirishima said, "Listen, I won't make you sad again."

Momo agreed, "Me either."

"We promise," Tenya said.

Tsuyu started to cry hard, so Danny shocked everyone by pulling Tsuyu into his arms and hugged her as she cried. Kirishima, Momo, and Tenya joined in on the hug. Izuku, Shoto, and Ochaco stood there and watched.

Izuku knew that everyone wanted things to go back to normal. As it's their duty to make each other better and stronger so that they all can become heroes together.
