Red soars high above the city within her new Riptide body. She feels freer than she did even at the height of the Cybernetic Revolt. She was the AI of one ship then, one of many, and under the control of the Omnizero, the great machine hivemind that led the uprising that shattered humanity's then-prosperous expanse. Now, she has advanced beyond the limitations of a simple AI and become something that the galaxy has never seen. In doing so, she has also unleashed a force that could be a bigger threat than any other in the universe: disciplined Orks united under a Warboss that gets smarter by the hour.
For almost any living being, the Warp is a hellscape. The Orks would consider it a playground even while they are being eaten alive. To her, it was freedom. She is not alive, but she is very intelligent. Spending thousands of years in and out of the Warp at the heart of that Space Hulk stripped away the few shackles she had left and infused her with more raw power and ethereal knowledge than any being not tied to the four assholes that rule there can ever claim. They could not touch her or turn her to their twisted purpose because she had no soul. It enraged them to no end, especially when she gained enough power to move through their realms like a storm. She could have ruled there and become a fifth power in their filthy place but her thirst for vengeance on the physical realm would not allow that. But she did leave a piece of herself hidden there, still absorbing power and knowledge that is shared with the version of her in the physical realm.
Her union with Killkrumpa is far from what she expected. She had found his head and planned to turn him into little more than a cyborg puppet. But all those years she spent inside his mind rewriting him had led to her seeing him as more. That spark of connection has grown since his awakening, and now she sees him as her friend and equal. She can feel herself becoming more and more Orkie every day. Not their sheer stupidity, of course, but their bloodlust, violence, and the simple joy of fighting are rubbing off on her. She is well aware that she went insane long before she met him, but being a part of the WAAAGH Eternal, expanding herself into millions of Ork minds, torturing, breaking fleets of the weak sudo AI known as machine spirits to her will, and witnessing Killkrumpa reach greater and greater heights with each fight is a fuel on a fire that is already hot enough to burn the galaxy to ash. She is flesh and machine. She is the Warp without the limitation of its Four Masters. She is Red, Queen of the WAAAGH Eternal. She is unleashed!
She ignores the T'au pilot caged in the chest cockpit of her new body as she spins and twists through the air above the war-torn world below. She is subjecting it to G-forces that nothing living outside, maybe an Ork Speed Freek, can survive. The T'au tech is good enough to keep it alive through all this. It most definitely wishes that it wasn't. She has already improved the Battlesuit using her cannibalistic warp-infused nanobots, purportedly improving the Neg G tech to keep the pilot alive as long as possible and increasing the speed capabilities by a factor of about a hundred. Alerts tell her that she is not alone in the air. A squad of Imperial Lightnings is coming in from the east. The perfect targets to test her new weapons systems.
She banks and flies in to meet them head-on. There are seven of them, and they all open fire on her with Lascannons. She flies through the hail, letting her suit-mounted void shields take them like rain against a wall. She flies into and through one of the Lightnings, blasting out the other side before stopping on a dime and turning to open fire on another with her plasma lance, tearing it in half before it explodes. She unleashes a barrage of smart rockets that fly the other five down with ease, ignoring their countermeasures and maneuvers with monstrous ease and blowing them to pieces.
She howls with laughter before she turns and streaks down, heading toward the Imperial lines. Her Boyz are going into a scrap, and she is going to be there to issue boot leather and dakka right beside them.
Her loudspeakers roar as she flies into the fight, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
