Lin sighed as he paced the huge entry hall near the door. Naru wasn't overly concerned, but Gene had missed curfew by almost an hour now. The more mature twin insisted that his brother was fine. He could always tell these things. Their genetic bond somehow just told him everything was alright. Lin didn't have that to fall back on. Gene knew better than this! He was never late home! What is he thinking? He's fourteen! It's almost eleven now! Lin was worried and irritated as he opened the front door and stepped out for a cigarette. It was a bad habit, one he'd promised Gene and Naru he'd quit. He paused as he heard voices, stepping a little further down the long pathway until he spotted two figures beneath a tree.

"I had fun tonight, Gene." Lin's brow furrowed as he scented the smoky scent of the young alpha on the breeze. He was taller than Gene by about a head, and much broader. They were both neatly dressed, still in their school uniforms from earlier. They'd gone out straight from school. The alpha stepped back, placing his hands on Gene's shoulders as he leaned in. Lin could see them clearly with his alpha eyes and paused, wondering if he should interrupt. "Gene, wait. I had fun but…" Lin wasn't sure whether he felt relieved or sympathetic at the clear rejection.

"You like Oli, right? Because he's an omega…I look like him though, so why not just…mess around a little…" Gene replied suggestively as he stroked his fingers down the alpha's shirt front. Lin watched, something feral twisting in his gut as Gene slid to his knees with practiced ease and a sultry smirk. His companion stammered out a small objection as he stumbled back against the tree. "It's alright…You can call me Oliver while I do it. I don't mind," Gene said invitingly as he reached for the alpha's buckle.

"Gene!" Both teens flinched at Lin's sharp bark. He said nothing as the alpha quickly excused himself and left. Gene remained on his knees a moment before getting to his feet with a sigh. He looked slightly annoyed as he headed towards the house, apparently unconcerned as he passed Lin. He brushed the damp evening dew from his knees as he went, ignoring the heavier steps behind. "What do you think you're doing?" Lin almost shouted as he followed him into the large house. He'd never been truly mad at either of the twins before, but now he couldn't help himself.

"What? We went to see a movie." Gene remained unapologetic as he shrugged out of his black blazer and hung it on the coat stand. He stiffened as Lin grabbed his wrist and held him against the wall, scowling angrily.

"You missed your curfew! And more to the point, what was that? You're too young to be thinking about things like that!" Lin didn't know why he felt so angry about it. He's too young! He shouldn't be even thinking about that stuff for another two years at least! Gene scowled and flushed in response. He clearly hadn't realised how much he'd seen and heard. Embarrassment was clear on his face, but also defiance. Lin had rejected him. He couldn't have it both ways. Just because he didn't want him, didn't mean he was barred from other people.

"Just because you think that way doesn't mean everyone else does! There are a lot of people in school doing this stuff! And just because you aren't interested doesn't mean I can't have fun!" Gene felt especially vulnerable facing off against Lin and was vaguely aware of Naru hovering worriedly at the top of the stairs. It wasn't like Gene and Lin to fight. They were usually quite close. It hadn't been so true recently, but not so long ago Gene wouldn't leave his side. The sudden change was worrisome and he couldn't help his scent reaching out to soothe them. They barely noticed the sweetness as it coiled around them, wrapped up in their argument as they were.

"That's not the type of fun you should be focusing on!" Lin paused as Gene ripped his hand free. "Especially not when the one they really want is Oliver." He knew it was a low blow as soon as he said it. Gene's cheeks flushed with mortification and sadness. It seemed he had indeed seen everything. He bit his lip as his eyes filled, sniffling as he covered his eyes. They always like Noll best…because they're always alphas, who want omegas. Why am I never attracted to betas or omegas? I just want…Now that he'd started, he didn't think he could stop. He choked on quiet sobs as he covered his eyes, trembling as he dropped his head.

Blue eyes widened as he was crushed against a familiar chest and a comforting hand laced in his hair. He closed his eyes and leaned into the embrace, breathing Lin's spiced scent. His alpha's hackles raised in discontent, but Gene loved Lin's scent. It made him feel safe. It had never bothered him until the last year or so when he'd presented. He wasn't going to let a little biology change his feelings. He tightened his grip on Lin's shirt as he pulled him down to seal their lips.

"Mm-n! Gene!" Lin objected as he pulled himself free, cheeks flushed as he held Gene's smaller wrists and ended up pinning him to the wall. He closed his eyes as his alpha writhed in protest. It felt challenged by Gene's advances, believing the younger alpha wanted to dominate him. Lin soothed it assuringly. He was quite certain Gene was on the submissive side of things, and he was far larger and stronger anyway. Being dominated wasn't a concern. "Gene…" He wasn't sure where to go from there. I swear, teenagers should come with a manual!

"You don't…have to love me…You can think of Noll while we do it, if that's what you want." Gene's whole being screamed vulnerability as his smaller body quivered against the wall. Lin almost recoiled in disgust at the thought. There wasn't a single person on the planet he'd want to sleep with less than Noll, even if their closeness and age gap weren't factors. Noll may have been more mature, but he was almost intolerable. To say he's a brat is an understatement.

"I would never think of Noll that way." Lin remained against the wall, pinning Gene's wrists with one large hand now. He ran his free hand through his own hair with a sigh. Why did life suddenly have to get so complicated? If the twins would just stop growing, this wouldn't be a problem. He was almost amused at the thought. Perhaps Noll would have remained quietly smart rather than almost rude and sharp. Omega hormones were notoriously tough to deal with. His temper was much shorter these days. Gene on the other hand, had only gotten sweeter.

"Jo…" Gene murmured as he looked up, cheeks flushed as Lin's grip remained on his wrists. Lin felt his heart skip. He'd forgotten how much he missed hearing that name. He'd been avoiding Gene since that night, shying away from his warm touches and gentle words. The distance was supposed to help Gene get over his feelings faster. Unfortunately, it seemed his attempt at distance had simply driven him off to other alphas, many of whom would likely not be as unprepared as the one Gene had chosen tonight.

"Don't do that again…Don't degrade yourself by being a substitute for Noll…You're worth more than that." Lin finally drew back and loosened his grip, leaving him trembling vulnerably against the wall. Before he could move back more than a few small steps, Gene was upon him. Chocolate eyes widened as strong arms locked round his neck, and slim legs hooked his waist. What the-Lin was shocked, though the twins were well versed in martial arts, so it shouldn't have surprised him that Gene could jump so high or grip so tightly.

"That wouldn't be an issue if you weren't so stubborn!" Gene snapped before claiming his lips, pressing against him as hard as he could. Lin hummed and mouthed an indignant objection as he stumbled with Gene in his arms until they fell against the wall. That ended up being the perfect position for Gene, who arched his spine, rolling his hips against his crotch. Lin's skin prickled as a shiver of need ran through his body. He could tell Gene was hard by the lump pressing obviously against his pelvis with each squirm.

"Gene, stop this at once!" Lin's alpha writhed in agreement, heat and indignation coiling in the pit of his stomach. It was unnatural, in more ways than one. They were both alphas! Gene was a child, barely reaching physical maturity! What stopped Lin this time was the utterly heartbroken look in Gene's crystal eyes. He found himself holding his waist a little tighter at the look of sadness and vulnerability.

"I won't! I can't…I love you…" Miserable tears fell down his cheeks as he buried his face in Lin's larger shoulder. Despite his alpha, and his better judgement, Lin cradled him closer. The hands in his shirt gripped tighter as they felt his gradual surrender. After a few moments, he chanced it again, claiming Lin's lips greedily to find them soft and willing. Lin drew back with a sigh, leaning his forehead on the wall as he closed his eyes.

"We'll both regret this in the morning." He heaved a worn sigh as he felt Gene give a firm shake of his head. You're still so young…You don't understand yet…Lin lowered him to the wooden floor, allowing Gene to lead him upstairs by the hand. At the top of the stairs, he turned towards Lin's room, cheeks flushing as they reached the closed door. Lin hesitated a moment, quietly hoping that Gene would back down. Once inside, Gene waited timidly by the door as Lin crossed to the bed. With any luck, he'll change his mind before things go too far…

Lin turned as he heard the lock of his door click, falling back on the bed as Gene reached out with his powers and knocked him down. Lin's alpha didn't appreciate the rough treatment. As soon as Gene was close enough, he gripped his wrist and yanked him down, twisting their bodies so that the smaller alpha was pinned beneath him submissively. His eyes darkened, teeth sharpening as he almost growled down at him. Gene let out a deliciously vulnerable whine of protest, his own alpha hissing a protest at Lin's dominance. Lin was only just keeping control. This young alpha needed to be put in its place and shown dominance! He was the true alpha here! Gene shuddered as he caught Lin's powerful scent, spiced chocolate almost drowning him.

"J-Jo!" He writhed on the mattress as Lin's strong hands grasped his slender wrists. It was hard to believe he was an alpha. His soul was so soft and submissive, the exact opposite of his brother. Lin felt his pants tighten at the breathy sounds dripping from Gene's lips and couldn't stop himself from leaning down to claim them. He closed his eyes, losing himself in the moment to the smaller body beneath him. This was a dangerous game he was playing, and there was no guarantee that Gene would back out before things went too far.

He moved down to his throat, nipping the pale skin and feeling Gene's alpha tense. Another alpha was close to his bonding site. It would be easy for him to bite down, to leave a mark to show how he'd been defiled by an alpha. That he was weak. The moment passed in an instant as Gene shivered and leaned into the pressure, pushing down his natural instincts to fight. His alpha wanted to throw Lin off. It wanted to hit, bite, and claw its way to freedom. Then it wanted to dominate Lin and see him writhing on the bed beneath him. That wasn't what Gene wanted.

"J-Jo! Hn!" Gene gasped as he felt a hand slide over his pants, blue eyes wide and almost frightened as Lin's hand closed over his swollen cock, stroking up and down slowly. He rolled his head back and breathed deeply, barely able to process how good it felt to be touched by Lin. He'd imagined things similar to this countless times over the past year or so, but he'd never imagined it would feel like this. "I-I'm!" He let out a small cry as he spilled in his pants, cheeks flushed as he felt the warmth set in.

"Was that enough for you?" Lin sounded almost cold. He was having trouble keeping a handle on his alpha. More than anything, he didn't want to risk losing control and really hurting Gene. Gene shook his head, leaving him shocked as he rolled to his knees and turned away. Lin said nothing as he bent over and spread himself in offering, cheeks pink and flushed as he avoided Lin's gaze. It was a complete show of submission, which Lin's alpha was willing to accept. From the quiver in Gene's thighs, he could tell his alpha was raging. "Are you sure? You're not an omega…It could hurt." He knew firsthand. His insides twisted at the heat on the back of his neck as he pushed down the memories.

"I-I know…" Gene's meek response made something hot flood Lin's chest. He knows? So that means…someone else…He could barely understand his own feelings as he growled and pulled Gene closer with almost rough hands. Someone else had touched him. More than touched him.

"Who was it?" Lin growled as he leaned low over Gene's back.

"Mr. Logan was my first." Lin's eyes widened. A teacher? That sick-He cut himself off almost shamefully as he leaned his head on Gene's. How could he say that about another man when he himself was far too old to be doing this with Gene? Worse that Gene was like a brother to him. He tried to recall the face of that teacher. He managed quite quickly as he thought over the recent meeting about sexual education.

"The Sex-Ed teacher?" Gene nodded as he pushed his face further into the sheets. Lin hadn't even done anything yet, but he could already feel himself reviving, despite his alpha's protests. Lin only remembered the man because he had Chinese ancestry. His mother was Chinese, and had moved to England during college, where she'd met a man and married. Mr. Logan had been blessed with his father's height, and his mother's dark hair and chocolate eyes. They were actually quite similar physically. So when I rejected him, he found the closest physical substitute and…

"Jo, please…" Gene murmured as he clutched the sheets and looked over his shoulder. Something within him broke at the sight. He'd never imagined Gene looking at anyone like that. He was flushed and needy, ass still raised in submission as he fought his alpha instincts. Is this how he'd looked for Mr Logan? Had he begged him the same way? Told him he could pretend he was his brother? Lin felt his throat squeeze at the thought as he moved to lie beside him instead. Blue eyes pinched at the rejection at first until Lin patted the space at his side.

"Come here…" He was eager as he crawled forward and burrowed his way into Lin's chest, gripping his shirt as strong arms closed around him. Arms he'd always trusted to keep him safe. Lin held him tighter as he felt his hands bunch in his shirt. His own eyes teared up as he thought about how badly he'd failed as a guardian. How had he missed it? Surely there should have been signs. A foreign scent lingering on his clothing, telltale marks on his skin, a change in attitude, something! He had to remind himself that he and Gene had been somewhat distant these past few weeks. It's my fault…
