Chapter Nineteen: In Dreams

Fitz blinked his eyes open, to a dark room. He was deep in his sleep when a noise woke him up. With sleep still in his half-opened eyes, he squinted to read the time on the nightstand clock. It was five in the morning, well before his alarm was set to go off. When Fitz heard the shuffling once again, he slowly forced himself out of the bed. He knew where the noise was coming from, and who was making that noise so early in the morning,

The hallway was half-lit with light coming from the end of the hall. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he made his way to the kitchen. When he turned the corner he found Olivia, in her nightgown, vigorously wiping down the countertops. She had a sponge in one hand and a bottle of cleaner in the other. She'd wipe a spot clean, only to spray the same spot with the cleaner and wipe it over. She did it about three times while Fitz was standing there. There was no telling how long she'd been scrubbing that same spot through the night.

"Liv." Fitz called out to her. She hadn't noticed he was in the kitchen, and she didn't seem surprised when she finally noticed him. "What are you doing?"

She didn't look up from the counter or stop scrubbing as she answered to him. "Sophia spilled her food. I have to get it up."

"Olivia I'm sure you got it up the first time you wiped the countertop." Olivia kept going as if she hadn't heard him. Fitz walked up closer to her. He gripped her wrist, halting her movements. "Liv, there's nothing there."

For the first time, since he walked in the room, Olivia looked up at him. "Did I wake you?"

"Well yeah, kind of."

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine. How long have you been up?"

Olivia shrugged. "I don't know. Sophia woke up around three. I think she's having a hard time adjusting to the new room. I gave her a little snack and rocked her back to sleep. I couldn't sleep myself, so I came back here to clean up her mess. What time is it?"

"Five in the morning. You've been cleaning this counter for almost two hours?"

"I guess."

"Olivia you need to go to sleep."

"I can't. Every time I allow myself to relax, I remember that I'm here and my babies are still in the hospital. They aren't here with me where they belong, and it makes me upset. And even when I try to force myself to sleep, and I actually manage to, I wake up with a nightmare about…" Olivia trailed off, without finishing her sentence.

"About what Liv?" Fitz asked. This was the first he was hearing about her having nightmares about anything.

Olivia shook her head. "Nothing." She went back to scrubbing the countertop, at least this time she was wiping a different spot.

"Olivia stop." Fitz grabbed her wrist again, and this time he took the sponge away from her. "You need to go to bed."

"No, I'm fine. I want to be up, just in case the hospital calls. I don't want to miss their call."

"The boys are fine, they're in good hands." Fitz took the cleaner from her other hand, and started to lead Olivia out the kitchen. He walked her down the hall and to the room she was staying in. He opened the door, and lead her to the bed. After she climbed in, he pulled the covers up and sat on the edge of the bed. Olivia was stubbornly looking up to the ceiling, refusing to close her eyes. "Liv just close your eyes."

"I don't want to."

"Because of your nightmares?" Olivia didn't answer. "Is it about Nora?" Olivia still didn't answer, but Fitz noticed her shifting. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"No." Olivia answered quickly and she turned on her side, away from Fitz's stare. "I'm fine Fitz. You can go now."

Fitz sighed. At least he'd gotten her to stop cleaning and got her back in bed. Maybe she'd eventually fall asleep.

A few hours later, Fitz was woken up again by a noise in the house. This time, he knew the culprit was miss Sophia Pope herself. He could hear her loud shrieks and squeals through the walls. The clock now read 8:34, it was a more decent time than five in the morning. Deciding, that he wasn't getting any more sleep, Fitz got up to get ready. Well, half ready. He brushed his teeth, washed his face and put a shirt on. When he finished, he walked down the hallway in his black jogger bottoms and a black undershirt.

Olivia had been released from the hospital almost four weeks ago. And she let it be known, that she was not going anywhere without her babies. Since she didn't know how long the boys were going to be in the hospital, she decided not to stay in a hotel. instead she found a nice little home on Airbnb that she could rent out for an extended amount of time. It was better this way for Sophia. It was going to be hard enough getting her to adjust to a new home for a while, and Olivia wanted her to be comfortable in a bed and not some cot in a hotel room.

The house they were staying in was a beautiful four-bedroom home, with three and a half baths, a big beautiful kitchen, with all amenities and a spacious yard. The part that really sold Olivia, was that it was only a ten-minute drive from the hospital. When Olivia decided to stay, Fitz volunteered to stay with her. She'd just gone through a major trauma and surgery. She would need help taking care of herself, and there was no way she could handle Sophia on her own. So Fitz was there to help, plus he also wasn't looking forward to being away from his boys.

Although Fitz was there to help Olivia, she was being stubborn as usual. The first week was the worst. Olivia's stubbornness was at an all-time high. She would refuse Fitz's help on anything. If Sophia was hungry, Olivia would insist on making her food. She said Fitz didn't do it correctly. When Sophia woke up in the middle of the night, Olivia would fuss at Fitz when he made it to her room first. And when it came to her own care, Olivia was much worse. She didn't want Fitz's help when she wanted to move around. She didn't want Fitz's help when she needed her bandages cleaned and changed. And he could forget about helping her in the bathroom.

But that all changed, when Olivia almost fell in the bathroom. She was once again being stubborn, and refused Fitz's help to get her in the shower. The shower in her room had a shower bench, so she could sit while she showered. But during that first week, she was too weak to walk by herself. The pain in her abdomen was too severe. So one night, she was too stubborn to ask Fitz for help when she needed to shower. She made it to the bathroom fine, but just as she was about to step into the shower, she got a sharp pain in her stomach and fell. Lucky for her, she slumped against the shower wall and slid to the floor, instead of falling straight to the floor. After that, Fitz didn't wait for her to ask and helped her anyway.

"When Fitz walked into the living room, he found the culprit behind all the noise. Sophia was sitting on the couch in a little pink onesie with a Pacifier clipped to her. She was squealing and clapping her chubby hands to the Peppe pig show on TV. She was obsessed with that show and don't even think about trying to change the channel while she was watching it. The fit she will throw is outta this world. Fitz had to learn that the hard way one day. He'd changed the channel to watch the morning news and Sophia was having none of it.

"Good morning Miss Soph." Fitz ran his finger through her tight curls on the top of her head. Soph looked up at him only for a second to smile and then turned her attention back to her show. Fitz smiled back at the little girl and walked towards the kitchen. Olivia was in the kitchen in her bathrobe, mixing something in a bowl. "Morning Liv."

Olivia looked up from what she was doing and offered him a smile in reply. "Morning."

Fitz noticed the dark circles under her eyes and how her smile didn't reach those same eyes. She was tired understandably. She'd been through so much in the past weeks. Things you only hear about or see in movies. But unfortunately Fit didn't know how to help her, nor did Olivia seem to want his help. He knew she wasn't sleeping and he understood why. She was too worried about the boys, but he now knew her nightmares were what was really keeping her from shutting her eyes at night. He could only imagine what those nightmares must be like for her. And he would love to do everything in his power to help her, but she has to let him in first. She wouldn't even talk to him about what had happened to her. Telling her story to the officers at the hospital was the last time she spoke about that night.

Olivia felt Fitz staring at her, but she still had her head down. When she looked up, Fitz was looking at her with a sorrowful face. She frowned. Do I look that bad?

"Eggs benedict still your favorite?" Olivia asked, tearing Fitz from his daze.

"What?"

"Eggs benedict?" Olivia repeated. "Breakfast? it's still your favorite right?"

"Uh yeah."

"I've also got some cherry tomatoes and fingerling potatoes to roast. And I've got some fresh fruit- but if you want something else I can whip-"

"No, no." Fitz cut her off. "It's fine. It's just- You didn't have to do all this. You know I'm here to help you. I'm the one supposed to be making breakfast."

"I'm fine."

"I didn't say you weren't, but you need to take it easy Liv. No matter how good you think you are, you don't need to overexert yourself."

Olivia rolled her eyes, and turned around to check the potatoes on the stove. "I'm making breakfast Fitz not running a marathon."

"But you're not sleeping Liv."

Olivia sighed. "I get enough."

"When? This morning you were up at five scrubbing a clean counter." Fitz could see he was bothering her. "Liv I'm not trying to nag ok. I just want you to take care of yourself. You don't have to be superwoman all the time. You just had surgery, It's ok to get some help." he paused. "I'm just worried about you."

"And I appreciate that Fitz i do, but I'm fine."

"Then I expect you to sleep soundly tonight."

"Mhm." Olivia didn't even believe herself, so she knew Fitz didn't. "No, since you're in such a helpful mood can you put the potatoes in this dish and get the tomatoes out the pan?"

"Of course." Fitz got up to help Olivia with breakfast. They moved around the kitchen with ease, just like they use to in their own kitchen. Fitz wasn't a good a cook as Olivia was, but he could survive on his own. After taking the potatoes out the pan, he scraped them into a small white dish sitting on the counter. Then he did the same with the roasted tomatoes. When he was finished, he took the plates out of the cabinets and set them on the small table by the window. Olivia brought over the eggs benedict in one hand and a glass pitcher of grapefruit juice in the other.

Fitz grabbed the bowl of fruit from the fridge that Olivia had cut earlier, while she brought Sophia in from the living room. She wasn't too happy to be taken away from her show, but she quieted down, when Olivia set her in her high chair and put a bowl of potatoes in front of her. If there was anything that you could always count on the make Sophia stop crying, it was food. She was already biting through one of her potatoes, when Fitz and Olivia sat down to say grace.

"... and please bless this food and our family. Amen."

"Amen."

"Man!" Sophia shouted.

Fitz laughed. "Amen that's right. But you're supposed to wait to eat after you say grace missy." Sophia smiled at him and put another potato in her mouth. When Olivia put a few tomatoes in her bowl, she popped those in her mouth as well. It amazed Fitz how well this baby ate.

"So um, visiting hours at the NICU start at ten and I want to be there."

Fitz knew what time the visiting hours were. "Of course." He answered as he put a bite of egg in his mouth. He really missed Liv's cooking.

"And you know last night, I was thinking. We haven't thought of names for the boys." she smiled.

"You're right." He laughed. "Their little name tags on their incubators just say Grant A and Grant B."

"Pope-Grant." Olivia corrected. Since Olivia went back to her maiden name after the divorce, she wanted the boys to have her last name as well, just like their big sister.

"What about Garrett?" Fitz suggested.

Olivia made a face. "Garrett Grant? No." She quickly vetoed that one. "And That's only one. We need two."

"Okay, what about Luke and Tyler."

"No, I don't like those either. And they don't match. I want their names to match."

"Why do they have to match?"

"Because their twins." She answered. "And whatever we choose, it has to go with Jamal and Thomas. Those are their middle names."

"Their grandads middle names?"

"Yeah. Fitzgerald can not be a middle name, so I just went with Big Gerry's middle name."

"What's wrong with Fitzgerald?"

"Oh please. Don't try to defend it. You got picked on when you were little because of your name. You hate it too." Olivia laughed, which made Fitz laugh with her.

"Whatever. It's a family name."

Olivia laughed again, and Fitz could help but stare at her. She was laughing and her smile actually reached her eyes this time. "It's good to see you smile Livvie."

Olivia instantly became shy under Fitz's gaze. She cleared her throat and checked her watch. "We should probably leave for the hospital around 9:40."

"They aren't going anywhere Liv. We can leave at ten."

After they finished breakfast, Fitz insisted on cleaning up the kitchen, since Olivia did all the cooking. He also promised that he would make dinner tonight. While Fitz cleaned, Olivia went to take Sophia a bath and get her dressed for the day. She was glad her mother had packed two full suitcases for Sophia, not knowing how long they would be in Santa Clarita. she dressed Soph in a navy blue romper with white polka dots. The straps crossed in the back and there was a white butterfly on her bottom. Sophia didn't have a lot of hair for Olivia to work with, but she could still clip a white bow on the top of her head. Olivia wasn't really in the mood to get dressed up like her normal self, so she settled on just a pair of jeans, a white t-shirt and her white converse shoes.

Fitz was just finishing up with the kitchen when she and Soph walked back out to the living room.

"Well don't you look adorable." He pinched Sophia's cheeks and she reached out for him. She was really getting familiar with Fitz these last few weeks they were together. She would reach out for Fitz when they were cuddled up on the couch watching TV. She shared her slobber covered food with him, but her favorite was when he would run around flying her like an airplane around the living room. And Fitz found himself getting closer to her as well. He loved helping Olivia out with Soph, when Olivia would allow him to help.

"Look at those thunder thighs." Fitz tickled Soph's chubby legs dangling off Liv's hip. Soph kicked her legs and squealed. She didn't laugh, she squealed. She reached out for him again, when he didn't take her the first time. "Sorry kiddo, I have to go get dressed too."

"Please do."Olivoa checked her watch again. "It's already 9:55"

"Relax Liv." He popped kiss to the middle to her forehead. "I'm gonna get you there." He left them in the living room to go get dressed.

"Alright Soph. Let's put your shoes on." Olivia sat down on the couch and prepared herself for the fight to put Sophia's shoes on. For whatever reason, Sophia just hated wearing shoes, preferring to be barefoot everywhere she went. She didn't even like to have socks on, she just pulls them off her feet when her mother walks away.

As soon as Olivia layed Soph down on the couch, she started whining and tried to sit back up. "Just put your sandals on Soph. Why does this always have to be a fight?" Sophia screamed louder, when her mother managed to get one sandal on and was now working on the other. "Soph you look so cute with your birkenstocks on. Why do you hate them so much?"

"Woah. What's the matter missy?" Fitz came back down the hallway, fastening his watch on his wrist.

"She's behaving like a diva." Olivia managed to get the other shoe on Sophia's foot despite her constant kicking.

"Well she gets it honest." Fitz picked the toddler up and Sophia let out a few dramatic whimpers, before she put her head on Fitz's shoulder.

"Such a little faker." Olivia rubbed her baby's back. "And she's already got you wrapped around her finger."

Fitz shrugged. "She's too cute."

Olivia rolled her eyes and walked passed them. "Are you ready?" She asked grabbing her purse from the hall table.

"Yep. Let's go."

"Harry!" Erika shouted into Harrison's shoulder for the third time. She was hoisted up against her office wall. Her legs hook in the crook of harrison's arms. Her arms wrapped tight around his neck. Her pants had been discarded somewhere in the room and her cotton panties were dangling off her left ankle.

She'd been working in her office, signing off on paychecks for her employees, when Harrison walked in with brunch. But it was clear the moment he walked in, he had other things on his mind besides banana nut muffins. Erika moaning as she took a bite of her muffin was all it took for him to forget about feeding her. Which is how she found herself in her current situation.

She was trying her hardest to be quiet, but it was hard when someone was so deep inside of you, you could feel it in your chest. She'd never been with a man that made her toes curl when he kissed her. That made her bit on her lips to keep from screaming out at the pain and pleasure. She'd never been with a man that could get her to drop all her walls and let him fuck her against the wall in her office. She'd only had sex in the missionary position in a bed, under the covers with the lights off before she met Harrison. And here she was sandwiched between her lover and the wall, trying not to let her employees in on what she was doing in her office.

"You drive me crazy baby. I can't get enough of you E." Harrison reached between the two of them and rubbed on Erika's clit. He knew she was close, it didn't take long for Erika to reach the finish line. "Let go baby." A few thrust later, and he could feel Erika's walls tighten around him. His release was far behind. He wasn't expecting to release as hard as he did, and he lost his foot, but he plopped down in Erika's desk chair, before they hit the ground.

Erika was laughing with her face still nestled in the crook of Harrison's neck. She was straddling his lap, her legs dangling off the sides of the chair. He had his arms wrapped around her, rubbing the small of her back.

"What's so funny?"

"We almost fell." She snorted and lifted her head up to face him. His eyes were low and hooded, he had little drops of sweat peppering his face and he wore a lazy grin on his lips. "I've never done that before. I've never done most of the things you've gotten me to do."

"All enjoyable I hope." Harrison pulled a straw hair from her lips and tucked it behind her ear.

"Of course."

"You'd let me know though right? If I asked you to do something you weren't ready for."

"Well how outside of the norm are you planning on taking me?" Erika smirked.

"Oh baby. We haven't even reached the edge of the box yet."

Harrison's words both excited and frightened Erika. She had no idea what Harrison had planned for her sexual awakening, and that made her nervous just st as much as it excited her. She had more fun with Harrison in the short time they'd been together than she had with any of the boys in her past. And that's exactly what they were in comparison to Harrison, boys. Harrison was a man. He'd taken her to places she'd never knew existed. Pushed her body to limits she didn't know she had. And she was enjoying every minute of it.

"I think I should get back to working." She kissed his lips again, before climbing off his lap. Her panties had fallen off her ankle and she picked them up off the floor before sliding them back up her legs. Her pants were on the other side of the room where Harrison had tossed them.

"You don't think they heard us do you?" Olivia asked. The shop was open, so the store was full of employees and customers.

"I don't know baby, you were pretty loud." Harrison teased her, pulling her into him.

"You are a terrible influence." She smirked.

"You love it and you know it."

"They're still so tiny, but they're getting bigger." Olivia gushed looking down at her baby boy. They'd been at the hospital for almost an hour Fitz and Olivia just kept switching between the incubators, peering in. Since Sophia was so young, she wasn't allowed back into the NICU. So instead they left her in the small children's center. When they left her, she was enjoying singing a song with the nurse in charge.

Both of the babies were both getting slightly bigger, but Baby A was still bigger than Baby b. Baby A was also doing better than his twin brother. Shortly after the twins were born, the doctors discovered baby b had patent ductus arteriosus. Before a baby is born, the ductus arteriosus connects the two main arteries leaving the baby's heart-the pulmonary artery, which pumps blood to the lungs, and the aorta, which pumps blood to the rest of the body. The ductus usually closes when the baby is born, separating the two arteries. But common with premature births and in baby b's case the ductus arteriosus remained open after birth, pumping extra blood through the baby's lungs. The doctors started the baby on indomethacin meds in hopes of closing the ductus arteriosus. He showed signs of improvement at first, but the doctors are doubtful and think that the baby might need surgery in the near future.

That was the last thing Olivia and Fitz wanted. Their baby boy was barely a month old and weighed less than five pounds. They'd already been through so much in their short little life, they didn't want to add on to it. But if it came to that, Olivia and Fitz knew it would be the right decision. And their only option.

"Noah." Olivia spoke, hovering over baby b's incubator.

"What?" Fitz said.

"Noah. I think he looks like a Noah." She repeated, her smile was wide. "Noah Thomas." She looked over at Fitz who was standing similarly over baby A's incubator. "What do you think?"

"I like it. And what do you think about Jonah for this little guy? Jonah Jamal."

"Perfect." She didn't know why, but she had tears falling from her cheeks now. "Jonah Jamal, and Noah Thomas."

"Now we can stop calling you baby A and baby B."

"Jonah and Noah."

X

After spending a few hours at the hospital with Jonah and Noah, Olivia decided it was time to leave, after checking on Sophia. She'd gone to the care center and Sophia was throwing a fit on the nurse's lap as she tried to comfort her. Olivia had instantly gone to her baby girl and tried to console her. Sophia was hungry and tired, her nap time was approaching.

They decided to stop at a chick-fil-a at a strip mall to grab a quick lunch. They were sitting in a booth near the back, since the place was so packed. Fitz sat on one end of the table, Olivia on the other and Sophia was in a high chair between them. Her entire mood had changed since they left the hospital. Gone was the cranky mess she was turning into and now she was back to her happy and smiling self. Chicken nuggets and fries tends to put anyone in a good mood.

"Fry." Soph reached out for Olivia's food, since she had eaten all her fries.

"Eat your chicken too." Olivia tried to get Soph to eat one of her nuggets, but Sophia wasn't interested. Normally she would have finished them by now, but for some reason she was only interested in her fries today.

"No!" Soph threw the piece of chicken and it bounced off Fitz's forehead before it hit the floor.

"Hey!" Olivia couldn't help but laugh. "What are you laughing at?" Olivia's laughing had made Soph began to giggle.

"Hey that's not funny Soph. We don't throw food okay? No, No."

"No!" Soph repeated and then happily ate the fries her mother put in front of her.

"She's got a hell of an arm. Glad it was only a chicken nugget."

"She is adorable." One of the workers passing by with a rap and squirt bottle in her hand commented. She was looking down at Sophia who was turning on the charm, giving her best smile with a cheek full of potato. "You two muct be so proud. I bet she's got daddy in the palm of her hand huh." The woman walked off before either Fitz or Olivia could correct her. And honestly, neither of them was interested in correcting her anyway. They'd gotten tired of it. It seemed every time they went somewhere and someone commented how cute Soph was, they assumed Fitz and Olivia were her parents. One woman even said Soph looked just like her father. Which both Fitz and Liv knew was complete BS. Soph didn't even have a hint of resemblance to Fitz, but they just thanked the woman and kept walking. To Fitz, it wasn't the worst thing in the world for people to believe he was Sophia's father. And Olivia didn't see any harm in it.

"Why does everyone just assume I'm her father?"

"Because we're together. A man, a woman, and a baby, we look like a family." Olivia answered. "It's not a bad thing for people to think you're her dad."

"I didn't say it was. But why don't you correct them?"

"Huh?"

"Whenever someone assumes I'm her father, you don't correct them."

"So?"

"So, whenever a stranger or someone we run into assumes we are still married, you're quick to set them straight."

"That's different."

"How?"

Olivia didn't know how to answer, because she didn't have an answer. "I don't know Fitz. Is this going to be a thing? Are you making this something we're going to argue about? Because I don't feel like getting into it with you in the middle of a chick-fil-a."

"I'm not trying to argue-"

"Good." Olivia grabbed her purse from beside her on the chair. "I have to use the restroom."

Olivia walked to the small hallway where the bathrooms were and walked into the ladies' restroom. There was a woman washing her hands at the sink and Olivia smiled at her before walking into a stall. When she was finished, she went to the sink to wash her hands.

She checked herself in the mirror and took her compact out of her purse. She patted her cheek a few times, before taking her lipstick out her purse. Olivia wasn't really been paying attention to the low music playing on the speakers, until the next song came on.

She was right in the middle of swiping her bottom lip with her blush rose lipstick when her hand went still. Her heart stopped, then began pumping harder and faster. Her skin was clammy and cool to the touch as beads of sweat formed on her forehead. When the lyrics started on the song, the tube of lipstick fell from her hand and to the ground. Olivia covered her ears with both hands as she cowered in the corner of the bathroom. The woman washing her hands had already left, and the other stalls were empty, so there was no one to question if she was alright.

A candy-colored clown they call the sandman

Tiptoes to my room every night

Just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper

"Go to sleep. Everything is alright."

"No! No!" She just kept repeating over and over again. She was now sitting on the floor of the bathroom, her back braced against the wall, legs bent and her knees driving into her chest. She had her head down against her knees, tightly pushing her hands against her ears trying desperately to block out the song.

I close my eyes, then I drift away

Into the magic night, I softly say

A silent prayer like dreamers do

Then I fall asleep to dreams, my dreams of you

Olivia had no idea how long she'd been in the corner rocking herself. But she was grateful to whoever that changed the song midway through. When her legs stopped shaking and she was steady enough to stand, she slowly got up off the ground. She caught a quick glimpse of herself in the mirror. Her hair was messed up from her running her hands through it. Her eyes were bloodshot and watery. her face was pale and she was sweating profusely. She looked like she'd just been in a fight and not a quick trip to the bathroom. Needing to get away quickly, Olivia got her stuff up off the floor and ran to the door. When she pulled it open, she was met with Fitz with Sophia in his arms. His fist was up as if he was about to knock.

"Hey I was just coming to check on you. You've been in here a whi- Liv?" Fitz noticed the disheveled look Olivia now had, that was not how she left the table. "Liv you okay?" he grabbed her shoulder, but she jumped away from him. "Hey, it's just me. Baby what's wrong? What happened?" Tears were falling down her cheeks and her hands entire body was shaking. Fitz didn't have a clue what happened to her, but he knew something happened in that bathroom. "Olivia look at me."

"Can we leave?" Her voice was so soft Fitz could barely hear her.

"Liv-"

"Please. Can we go?" This time Olivia looked up at him when she spoke and all he saw in her eyes was fear.

"Yeah-" Before he even finished, Olivia was walking back down the hallway. When he caught up with her outside, she quietly waited for him to push the button to unlock the doors and when the car beep, she quietly slid in the passenger's seat. After Fitz got Soph in her seat he got in the driver's side. He wanted to ask Olivia again what was wrong, but she had her head against the window, looking out. it was clear she wasn't talking. Fitz noticed her legs were still shaking and he reached out to place his hand on her thigh. She flinched, but allowed him to keep his hand there while he drove them back home.

After a quiet drive, when they got home, Olivia was the first one out of the car. Fitz watched her walk briskly to the front door, opening it and going inside. He got a now sleeping Soph out of her car seat and into the house. he took off her sandals and laid her down in her playpen still sleeping. She rolled over onto her stomach, and when Fitz was certain she wasn't waking up, he went searching for Olivia.

He knocked on her door, but got no answer. He wasn't really expecting one.

"Liv." He called out. "Olivia will you open the door?" he still didn't get a response. "Please Olivia I just want to know your okay." No answer. he didn't want to break down her door, no matter how tempted he was because he knew it would help right now. "Liv I'm not leaving until you open the door." Sighing, knowing she wasn't about to open the door any time soon, Fitz sat down on the floor outside her bedroom. He pulled out his phone thinking maybe she would answer his call, but she didn't. He eventually fell asleep against the wall waiting for Olivia to open the door.

The song in the story was in Dreams by Roy Orbison
