The time has finally come. With all of the Smashers sent into different universes scattered across the dimensions, it’s up to Pit and Phosphora to get back their friends, stop Dade and his army of villains, and save the multiverse! With the help of new friends.

3. Chapter 3: Parental Champions

Across all sorts of media franchises, what seems to have been the most successful is none other than Pokémon.

Ah yes, Pokémon. Starting out on the GameBoy back in 1996, Pokemon quickly grew to become one of the most recognizable pieces of pop culture around the globe.

While many believe the franchise has run its course with many games released in a short amount of time, Pokemon still had a devoted and large fanbase.

This is the universe of Pokémon, another universe where our smashers were brought.

But which smashers were there?

One of them was Red.

"Still can't believe I'm back." The Pokémon trainer said as he walked through the fields of grass. "I haven't been here since I started living in the Smash Mansion, everything looks exactly the same."

Many suspected that Red was from Kanto, but that was only partially true.

Red's parents were both world famous and powerful Pokémon champions. But Red had almost never talked about his parents back in the mansion, and it was unknown why.

But now he was in the Sinnoh region, Celestic Town to be exact.

Red continued walking through the grass, wanting to take the safe hill down to the town.

"Same grass, same trees. Same everything." He thought to himself. "I hope mom and dad are here though."

He figured that the only way to figure out what happened was by doing something. His priority now was to find his parents and tell them about everything that happened.

Red stopped by a nearby tree, spotting apples at the top of the tree.

He hadn't eaten in a while, so now may be the best time to eat something. So he started climbing up the tree, reaching onto one of the branches.

"Okay…just…gotta…dang it!"

The Pokémon trainer has managed to grab the apple, but it fell to the ground.

He jumped back down in attempts to pick it up, but….

(Boink!)

Red's eyes widened as one of the tree apples fell right on his head, followed by many others.

He quickly shook his head. "Good thing I'm wearing a hat, or there'd be a huge lump right on my head. Oh!!"

He saw that the apples were tumbling down the hill that the tree was on, rolling down towards a nearby lake.

Red started urgently running down the hill, trying to catch after every single apple that rolled. He was about to grab them all in a flash, until he tripped right over.

"WAAAAOOH!" The Pokémon trainer yelled as he splashed right into the lake.

He emerged from the water, completely drenched as he took a breath.

"Geez." He sighed. "I can't catch a break, gotta get these apples before they're ruined. But a little water won't hurt."

Red took out two Poke-Balls from his belt, tossing them up into the air.

"Squirtle and Ivysaur, come on out!"

The Poke-Balls opened right up with two lights descending to the ground, revealing his Ivysaur and his Squirtle.

"Squirtle!"

"Ivy!"

Red smiled. "Can you two help me with gathering all of the apples in this lake? They…all fell in."

His two Pokémon nodded in response, Squirtle started trotting towards singular apples and Ivysaur was using his vines.

The trio was placing the fruits on the grass land near the water, piling them up as they almost had each one of them.

Squirtle then noticed another apple floating farther in the water, one that was showing what appeared to be a red and slightly curved side.

Weird for an apple to be curbed like that.

"Squirt squirt!" The turtle Pokémon put both of his hands on the apple, only to be lifted up by something that was connected to it.

"Alright!" Red pumped his fist. "We've got all of them, now let's just get Squirtle and—"

"CRAAAAWWW!!"

Both the Pokémon trainer and Ivysaur turned around quickly in response, both of their eyes widening.

Squirtle was hanging by the pincer of a Crawdaunt, which did not seem happy in the slightest.

"Squir!" Squirtle attempted to shake itself off, but it wasn't working at all as Crawdaunt had a really good grip.

"Craw!! Craw!!"

Red gripped his fist, pointing his other hand forward. "Ivysaur, use Vine Whip on that Crawdaunt!"

Ivysaur nodded, two vines coming out of it's sides as they both shot towards the red Pokemon.

Both vines squared the crab in it's face, making it drop Squirtle.

"Craw!"

"Squirtle!" The turtle Pokémon ran towards his trainer, jumping to Ivysaur's side.

Crawdaunt quickly recovered, glaring at the trainer and his Pokémon. Opening up one of it's claws and blasting Hyper Beam.

"That's Hyper Beam! Dodge it you two!"

Ivysaur and Squirtle jumped to the sides to avoid the attack, Squirtle shot out Water Gun while Ivy blasted Bullet Seed from the flower on his back.

Both attacks landed, creating a large cloud of smoke.

Red smiled. "I think we got it!"

But he was wrong, as the Crawdaunt jumped from the water and landed on the ground. It pinched it's claws, seeming more angry than before.

The Pokémon trainer clenched his fists. "I guess not, use-"

"Don't worry little boy!! I've come to save you!"

Red's eyebrows raised, the voice caused him to look way up behind him. There was a tall cliff behind him and someone standing on top of it.

It was a short and fat man wearing a purple cape and a purple mask. Dressed in a superhero outfit with a blue W on his chest.

It was Wario, or Wario-Man in this case.

Red's jaw dropped. "Wario?!"

"That's Wario-Man to you!" The greedy man pointed at the trainer. "And I'm here to save the day! Wah!!"

He jumped right off of the cliff and descended towards the Crawdaunt, his fist out and determination in his eyes.

"Waaaaaaahhhh!!" He yelled while diving.

Only to face plant right into the ground next to Red, creating an awkward silence from the trainer and his Pokémon. Even the Crawdaunt was confused by the fat man's introduction.

Wario pulled his face off of the ground, suddenly turning back to normal. "Dang it! Knew now was a bad time to eat that garlic, hey Red what's up?"

The Pokémon trainer's eye twitched. "Wario? Where'd you come from?!"

The man in yellow scratched his stomach. "From that cliff, you saw me jump."

"No but where?"

"Oh." Wario said. "I'll tell you what happened."

Narrated in a Wario voice…

"I woke up in a tree, which was hanging me by my undies for some reason."

"Then I fell right down to the ground, then I heroically saved five Eevees from a giant Tirantrum! I was pretty cool you know."

"Then after that, I gave a Lechonk to this homeless man. And it saved his life I tell you! After that I suddenly bumped into Cloud, then I ate some special garlic and became Wario-Man! I saw that Crawdaunt and wanted to help you!"

Red gave the man a stare. "I don't believe much of that."

Wario raised an eyebrow. "Why not?!"

"Lechonks and Tirantrums don't live near Celestic Town." The trainer then frowned as he was thinking. "Come to think of it, those Pokémon don't even exist in Sinnoh."

The fat man's eyelids lowered. "Ah. Wait, we're in the Sinnoh region?!"

"Yeah." Red turned to face Celestic Town, making sure that he was on the money. "This is Celestic Town, it's where I was born."

The trainer then remembered the story that Wario had told him, turning quickly back to him. "Wait, Cloud's with you?!"

"Yep, right here."

Red saw Cloud standing behind him, with his Buster Sword resting on his shoulder. "Aerith's also here too."

The flower girl appeared by the Ex S.O.L.D.I.E.R, waving her hand and smiling. "Hi Red."

He shook his head. "Whatever, we've gotta deal with this Crawdaunt first. Go Pikachu!" Red threw another Pokeball out, with Pikachu coming out of it. "Use Thunder!"

"Pi!" The mouse jumped into the air, above the wild Crawdaunt. "PiiiikaCHUUUU!!"

Pikachu blasted a mass of electricity from it's body, with dark clouds forming behind him. It landed a direct hit on it's head, a super effective attack.

"Craaaawww." The crab Pokemon was now sizzling from the Thunder attack, as it fell back into the water.

Pikachu landed on it's four legs, appearing confident. "Pika!"

"Nice shot Pikachu!" Red gave one of his partners a thumbs up, as it nodded in response.

When suddenly a Gyrados emerged from deeper within the lake, letting it's presence be known by the roar it let out.

"BWWWWOOOUUURR!" The serpent Pokémon yelled, surprising the group of smashers.

Wario shrugged. "Eh, I've smashed bugger lizards before!" The fat man jumped up onto the Gyrados' forehead, holding on tight. "Ah! Ah! Hey! Stop moving so much!"

Little did the group know that two white boots were quickly running across the grassy fields of Celestic Town.

That pair of white boots' owner jumped into the air with a sword in hand, she was above the Gyrados.

Everyone gazed at the swordswoman, as she swung it down at the Gyrados.

"BWWWEEEEERR!" It yelled in pain and shook it's head vertically in repeated motion, throwing Wario up and blasting Hydro Pump from it's mouth.

"WAAAAAHHH!" He yelled as he was propelled high up into the sky.

When the Gyrados quickly scurried back into the lake, the one who slashed at it's forehead landed right on the ground.

This woman appeared serious, as she brought her sword down.

The others were in silence of this woman, was she an enemy? Or was she an ally?

She was an ally.

The swordswoman grinned, putting her sword in a sheathe behind her waist.

"Hiya guys!! Wasn't that cool?!"

It was Mia, Beorc and Myrmidon of Tellius, and Ike's husband.

But her outfit was different, it was a tight and white outfit. With white gloves, boots, and even a few pouches on certain areas. An outfit similar to Silver Sable of Marvel.

"Hello Mia." Aerith said. "You seem, a bit different."

The Beorc nodded in response. "Yep! I woke up in a field and I realized I was wearing this costume!" Mia said as she tightened one of her gloves. "Then I heard that monster roar, so I came as fast as I could!"

"So you're here too." Cloud blinked. "Were you with anybody else?"

Mia shook her head. "Nope! Just woke up in a tree and heard it roar."

Red pursed his lips. "Good to know."

"Yeah! And I'm glad I came just in time!" Mia said as a shadow was coming over her. "Now we can all figure out how the heck we got in this place and why I'm dressed like this! Hm? AHHHHH!!"

The Beorc screamed as Wario came back down from the sky, accidentally crushing her with his stomach.

The fat man shook his head, looking down. "Heh? Oops."

Both of Mia's arms were pushing against the ground, as she struggled to lift Wario off of her back. "Get..off…me…PLEASE!"

"Okay okay! Geez." Wario jumped right off as it made Mia able to stand back up, stretching her back.

"Agh, I think you cracked my back. You need to lose weight."

Wario's eyebrows raised, before he grit his teeth and pointed at the Beorc. "Shut up! I like my weight mind you!"

"Not if you die soon from a heart attack." Mia mumbled.

Wario looked even angrier. "What was that?"

"Uhh nothing!" She had her hands up and rapidly shook them, in worry of what Wario might do. "So, where are we?"

Everybody turned to Red.

He nodded. "We're in Celestic Town, or…we're right by it. It's a pretty small town, but I don't know how we all ended up here. It's all the way in the Sinnoh region."

"Sinnoh eh?" Cloud checked out the trees. "I'm guessing Dade sent us here with that black hole."

"And he got everyone!" Wario said. "You know I was busy when he destroyed the mansion, counting up money as usual."

Everyone else frowned at him in response, as Wario's face turned upside down.

"Uhhh, oh yeah and everyone else got sucked up. That's just, wow that's horrible."

"It makes sense for Red to know where we are." Aerith put her hands at her hips. "He's traveled around the whole world, haven't you?"

The Pokémon trainer scratched the back of his head. "Yeeaah, I have. But it's more than just that?"

Mia's eyebrows raised. "What do you mean?"

"Celestic Town was where I was born, my mom-"

"What was all of that noise?"

The group heard a voice say, as Red's eyes lit up with a bit of excitement. The group saw someone approaching them from a lower hill, the woman was coming into a clear perspective the more she moved up the hill.

It was an elder woman wearing a lab coat, a purple skirt, and had short gray-blond hair. It seemed the smashers' battle with the two water type Pokémon caught her curiosity.

"Oh!" Red exclaimed. "Great grandma it's good to see you!" The trainer ran towards the professor and threw his arms around her.

"Red?!" The professor exclaimed. "Well this is quite the surprise! Seems like you've grown."

The others seemed quite confused, this woman that came out of nowhere was Red's great grandmother?

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed as it dashed towards the professor, with Ivysaur and Squirtle following along.

The professor held Pikachu in her arms. "Hello Pikachu, have you been well?"

"Piiiii." The mouse Pokémon nuzzled hee.

"Care to introduce us Red?" Aerith asked, as the trainer turned around.

He nodded. "Yeah. Everyone, this is Professor Carolina. She's my great grandmother and head of Celestic Town's Historical Research Center. She's spent years of her life researching the time and space legends of Sinnoh."

Carolina slightly laughed. "I have indeed, my grandson is correct in that department."

"Dialga AND Palkia?" Cloud asked. "Impressive.

She nodded in response. "Thank you, now who might all of you be?"

"We can explain later." Wario said. "You got anything that would help us?"

Professor Carolina placed a finger to her chin. "Nothing specifically, but perhaps a diet plan for you."

Wario looked shocked, her comment leading to him murmuring insulting words.

"Haha!" Mia laughed and pointed at the fat man. "The old lady got you!"

Carolina raised an eyebrow with a stern look. "Old lady?"

"We'll explain later." Red shook his head. "Great grandma, can you tell us where mom and dad are?"

Professor Carolina's eyebrows raised. "Ah yes, you had called them back in April if I remember?"

He seemed surprised. "How did you-"

"You don't always call your parents, so they're always happy to tell others about when you call them." She smiled. "At the moment they're in Jubilife City. Always traveling as you can tell."

"Oh yeah, they do have a pretty big place there." Red agreed. "Well we'd really like to see them! So could we head over there? It's for something really important!"

The professor nodded her head with a smile. "We can, but we'll need a decent form of transportation to do so."

The Pokémon trainer placed his hands to his chin, snapping the fingers of that same hand after. "I've got it!" He took out a Pokeball. "Charizard go!"

His Charizard came out of the Pokeball. "Rerh!"

"Charizard, we need to take us to Jubilife City." Red said.

"Reah!" Charizard nodded as he turned around and lowered his back. Red got on his Pokémon while Professor Carolina and Mia joined him.

Cloud and Aerith got on as well, all five of them taking up space on the flame Pokémon's back while Red returned Pikachu, Squirtle, and Ivysaur.

"Alright! Let's head out!"

"Hey! What about me?"

The group turned to face Wario, who looked grumpy that he didn't seem to have a ride.

"Oh yeah, I've got someone who can help you." Red took out another Pokeball, throwing it out.

A ground and flying type Pokémon came out, with pincers and ears. "Gli! Gliscor!" Gliscor, the Fang Scorp Pokémon.

Who knew that Red had one of those?

"Gliscor, can you take Wario to Jubilife City with us?" The trainer asked, receiving a nod. "Great! Let's go then!"

"Reeeaah!" Charizard flapped his wings and lifted off, leaving Wario and Gliscor.

The two then looked at each other.

Wario put his hands together. "So…I ride on your back?"

"Gli?"

The group of smashers was now in the skies on Charizard's back, as the Pokémon was flying as fast is it could do they could get to Jubilife on time.

Meanwhile Wario was being given a lift by Red's Gliscor.

By held by Gliscor's pincers.

"Agh! Wahhh!" Wario yelped in pain. "I wanted on your back not your claws you stupid rodent!"

"Gli!" Gliscor said as it poked it's tail into Wario's back.

"Ow! Grrr."

Red turned around and called out. "Gliscor's claws are really strong! It makes carrying you easier."

The fat man in purple overalls rolled his eyes. "Yeah whatever."

Jubilife City….

Jubilife City, the largest city in the Sinnoh region. Home of the Jubilife TV Station, the Pokétech Company which created Sinnoh's Pokémon watches, and the Pokémon Trainer's School.

And now our heroes were above the city, ready to land.

Red squinted his eyes, seeing a house on a hill nearby the city. It looked like quite a nice house.

"Is that where they are?!" The trainer pointed at the home and asked his great grandmother, who shook her head. "No?"

"They're at a meeting right now with the other Pokemon champions." Professor Carolina explained. "There have been earthquakes at strange rates in Sinnoh recently, and we don't quite know why."

"So…then…where are they?!" Mia yelled as she was holding onto Charizard and her sword. "I've never flown up in the sky before!!!"

Carolina pointed at a building with satellite dishes on top of it and a large screen at the front. "That one!"

Red nodded. "Alright let's go!" Red's Charizard and Gliscor dived towards the TV station.

2 minutes later….

The smashers were now walking inside of the TV station, luckily they were only catching the attention of a few workers.

If only that was actually true.

"Hey, is that the champions' kid?"

"And Professor Carolina from Celestic Town! What's happening today?"

"Those other people with them look strange, are they even from here?"

Cloud let out a small sigh. "They're looking at us. Great."

Aerith wrapped her arm around Cloud's arm, causing the Ex S.O.L.D.I.E.R to halve at his fiancé. The flower girl shot a pleasant smile at him.

"It's alright, they're just a little bit stunned."

Cloud's face turned slightly red. Aerith was one of the only people in the world that could easily cheer him up.

Professor Carolina stopped at the elevators, where two separate ones were next to each other. "They're meeting at the bottom floor, but we all won't fit in just one."

"Got it." Red understood as he entered the first elevator with his great grandmother and the two from Gaia.

Mia grinned. "Alright! Let's go!" But she was stopped. "Huh?"

"There isn't enough room, sorry Mia." Aerith apologized while Professor Carolina pressed the button to the top floor, while the elevator door closed.

"Wait no!" The Beorc exclaimed as she put her hands on the elevator, letting out a tiny groan. "Then doesn't that mean I have to take the other elevator with-"

"Hurry up Silver Sable knock off!" Wario slightly pushed Mia forward with his hand as he made his way into the other elevator, as she did so.

The door closed up as Mia leaned against the wall. "So…how do we get up there?"

Wario went right over to the buttons.

"We just click this button at the bottom here." He clicked the basement button, the one that would take them to the bottom floor.

Before sliding his hand down every single button that was lined up. "Haha!"

Mia's jaw dropped while her eye twitched. "Why'd you do that?!"

He shrugged in response. "I dunno, I thought it'd be funny! Time for an elevator ride!!"

"NOOOO!!"

The group of four reached the bottom floor, with the doors opening up to reveal a silver hallway. The floors made of a fine marble material with a hint of blue on the walls.

Carolina was the first to exit. "If we just continue down this hallway we will reach the room. They should be in there if I am not mistaken."

The rest of the smashers exited, as Cloud turned back to the other elevator. "Elevator must be slow for them."

"We'll catch up with them later." Aerith said with a smile. "Our first priority is finding Red's parents."

"So let's go!!" Red excitedly ran down the hallway.

"Slow down Red!" Carolina called out to her great grandson and ran after him. "Goodness I'm getting to old for this."

Red took his great grandmother's advice and just continuously went down the hallway that they faced when first entering the basement. He stopped at two white doors with golden handles, which was being guarded by someone.

The security guard in a blue police uniform out a hand out in front of the trainer. "I'm sorry Red, but further access to any without an ID is prohibited."

Red's eyes widened. "Oh! Right, but my mom and dad are a part of this meeting! Can I please come in Andrew?"

Andrew shook his head in response. "Son or not, anybody without an ID is not permitted. I'm sorry Red, but it is nice to see you again."

"Aw man." The trainer slumped. "That blows."

"It's alright Andrew, this is an important matter." Carolina stepped next to Red as Cloud and Aerith did behind them. "It may help us with the earthquakes that have been an occupancies in Sinnoh recently."

Andrew's eyes widened. "P-Professor Carolina! I didn't expect to see you today! Please come inside."

The security guard glanced up at the two behind the people that he recognized.

"Are you…Cloud Strife?" Andrew asked the Ex S.O.L.D.I.E.R, receiving a nod in response. Cloud was quite famous even in other universes.

"Yeah, I am."

Andrew turned his attention to Aerith right after. "And you're…Aerith Gainsborough, aren't you dead?"

The flower girl let out a small life. "Not anymore, I'm very alive and engaged."

"Engaged?" He looked at her engagement ring.

"Yup!" She said. "I got engaged in December, Cloud and I hope to have our wedding when this whole thing is over."

Andrew's eyes widened. "Cloud?!"

"Thank you Andrew, we hope you have a good day." Carolina stepped through the door with Red running after her and the other two joining them.

Andrew was left to take in the information that he just took in, with the security guard placing his hand in one of his pockets and rummaging through it.

He took out a copy of the original Final Fantasy VII on the original PlayStation, squinting his eyes at it.

"Was my copy personalized?"

Inside of the meeting room…

Red ran forward, stopping at steel railings. Finding out that he was standing at the balcony, as the trainer looked down at what was at the floor.

A large and round table was placed, where multiple champions from the regions they came from were sitting and discussing.

There was Lance, champion of the Johto region, Diantha from Kalos, Iris from Unova, Professor Kukui from Alola, Geeta of Paldea, Leon of Galar, and Steven Stone of the Hoenn region.

Red also saw Blue and Leaf, both adult friends of his father who grew up in the same town as him.

They were also his friend Green's parents.

But Red didn't see his parents anywhere, they were definitely supposed to be there because he could see two empty chairs next to each other.

"So what you're saying is that there may be issues of earthquakes not just in Sinnoh, but everywhere else?" Diantha asked.

Steven nodded. "Yeah, the earthquakes in Hoenn have even woken up the ancient Pokémon. And it's been causing an increase in waves everywhere!"

"Could there be the possibility that the ancient Pokémon are causing it though?" Diantha placed her fingers at the bottom of her lip. "I mean think about it, Groudon controls the land and Kyogre controls the sea. Groudon could've easily made an earthquake and Kyogre reacted to it."

Iris perked up. "That's actually not a bad hypothesis!" The dragon champion turned to Steven Stone. "Has Rayquaza been awaken too?"

The Hoenn champion shook his head. "It hasn't, been given how much Groudon and Kyogre have been clashing I wouldn't be surprised if it woke up soon."

"From what we've gathered, almost every legendary Pokémon across our world has been behaving strange." Kukui said. "I don't think it's just any coincidence too."

Blue nodded. "But we haven't heard much from Red OR Cynthia about the gods of space and time."

Lance wasn't saying too much so far, he was sitting at his chair with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. But they opened up as he had something to say.

"Where are those two anyways? We specifically said 9:30 A.M sharp. And it's almost 10:30." The dragon master strictly said. "Those two should know better than to be late."

"So they're both just late?" Red asked as he was standing at the bottom of the staircase, with his arms crossed at a distance from the table.

Blue turned to the young trainer. "Seems so kiddo, no clue what's keeping them."

They all just went back to the meeting, until they realized who they were just speaking to.

Leaf's eyes widened. "Red?! What are you doing here? Where are your parents?"

"I don't know!" He exclaimed. "I was hoping I'd find them here because of what my great grandma told me."

"Professor Carolina? She's with you?" Iris asked as the Unova champion then witnessed the professor coming down the stairs. "Yes she is!"

The professor nodded her head. "Yes, it is a pleasure to see you all. From what I've heard my granddaughter and good for nothing grandson aren't here?"

"Good for nothing? What's wrong with Red's dad?" Cloud whispered to Aerith as they were at the bottom of stairs.

She only shrugged.

"Hey everyone! Sorry we're late."

Everyone turned to the large doors at the top of the staircase, as the sound of them opening came once again. Two figures were walking through the small hallway before they stopped at the balcony.

Both were adults and around the same age, but one was male and the other female. The male had a white and red T-shirt, a red and white cap, jeans and red shoes, a and what appeared to be a red and sleeveless coat that he wore. Even having a yellow backpack on.

The other had long blond hair, hair that covered her left eye, two pairs of black hair clips in said hair, a black fluffy collar, and a mix between a black suit and black dress. Holding an ice cream cone with vanilla soft serve on it.

Red's eyes widened upon seeing the two, grinning. "Mom! Dad!"

Their eyes perked up, as they looked down at who was supposedly their son.

They were both shocked.

"RED!" The woman exclaimed as she quickly came down the stairs and made sure she didn't trip.

"Come here my boy!" The man said as he followed after the woman.

They both threw their arms around the Pokémon trainer, as they all smiled in each other's embrace.

"Holy Arceus, I haven't hugged you two in so long!" Red grinned as they broke up their hug.

Red's mother put her hands on the trainer's shoulder, kissing his cheek multiple times while his father ruffled his son's hair.

While Carolina smiled.

His mother stopped kissing her son. "How've you been? When did you get to Sinnoh?"

"Wait hold on." Cloud interjected. "Who are you two?"

"Oh, right." Red's father adjusted his hat. "I'm Red's father and champion of Kanto, Red. But since that might be confusing, you can just call me Flame."

"And I'm Cynthia." His mother slightly bowed. "Champion of Sinnoh and Red's mother."

Aerith's eyes widened as she looked at Red. Erm, the Red that she knew. "Red, your parents are two of the strongest Pokemon trainers in the world?!"

He crossed his arms, showing off a huge grin. "Yep! I called them back when Team RWBY came to the mansion to see if they could help us, and they agreed to."

"Sorry it took us so long, we've been pretty busy."

"Speaking of being busy." Lance looked at the two with stern eyes. "Why were you two late? We made it clear that this was an important meeting that EVERYONE needed to attend, and it's almost over."

Flame scratched the back of his head. "Yeaaah sorry about that Lance, we were kind of taking our time with something."

"Busy with what? If you don't mind me asking." Steven Stone said.

"Well on our way here, we spotted an ice cream cart." Flame Red explained to the other champions. "And…Cynthia couldn't quite decide what flavor she wanted."

"They had so many options." Cynthia lowly said while she licked her soft serve. "And it was hard to decide."

Flame Red nodded. "Then she decided on vanilla, but it turns out that was the only flavor they had."

Red slightly laughed. "That's my mom alright!"

Cloud and Aerith seemed a bit weirded out, as the former whispered to the latter. "So…this typically happens?"

Flame Red gave a smile. "Anyways, why are you here Red? And, who are your friends? Are they from the Smash Mansion?"

That caught the attention of the other champions.

"No way! THE Smash Mansion?" Blue slammed his hands on the table. "Then where's Green? Oh wait."

The female Pokémon trainer herself came out of the shadows right behind them, giving up two peace signs and a smile as Blue put his arm towards her. "There she is!! Hehe."

"She's been with us the whole time." Leaf sipped a bit of her smoothie and adjusted her white top. "Blue just loves being dramatic."

"Red!" Green cheered as she waved to him. "Glad you made it out safely!"

Cynthia glanced at her son. "Made it out? From what?"

The son of the two champions nodded his head. "Alright, there's a reason why Green and I ended up here. I'll tell you all."

And so the champions listened closely to hear the trainer's story.

One story later…

"The universe is ending?!"

Flame Red yelled, with everybody appearing shocked by the story that Red and Cloud had explained to them.

Cloud nodded his head. "Not just this universe, but every universe in existence may cease to exist if Dade gets what he wants."

"A-are you sure it's really going to end though?!" Iris asked in worry. "Everything's over?! Oh Arceus I can't breathe, Haxorus comfort me!" She threw out a Pokeball which summoned her Haxorus that was hugging her. "Ahhh that's so much better. Thanks Haxorus."

"Let's slow down a little bit." Cynthia put a hand out. "So this guy, Dade? Why does he want to do this? What is his intention?"

Red shook his head in response to his mother's question. "We don't know, he was playing the role of a general at first and put us in jail. Then the jail exploded and we thought he died, but it turns out he's been gathering all of our enemies and the DNA of all the smashers."

"Then he sent you all in a black hole?" Leon asked, placing a hand on his head and shaking it. "Okay, this is crazy."

"Look, we know that you guys are dealing with your own issue right now. With those earthquakes and everything." Cloud stepped forward and placed a hand on the table. "But what if those earthquakes have to do with our little dilemma?"

Lance cocked an eyebrow. "What are you proposing, Strife?"

He shrugged. "You know, the typical you scratch my back I'll scratch yours."

"Master Lance please." Red tightened his fist. "We need all of your help to stop him, we'll help you guys with the earthquake issue but we need your help. Will you all help?"

Every champion now had their eyes on the young Pokémon trainer. Confidence and hope sparked in Red's eyes, begging them all for their help of fulfilling said hope.

Leon put his hands at his hips, smiling. "I don't know about everyone else, but I'm in."

"Me too." Steven raised his hand.

"So am I!" Iris grinned.

"I am as well." Diantha placed a hand on her chest.

"Sure thing." Kukui smiled. "I wouldn't want the world to end."

Both Flame Red and Cynthia nodded their heads. "We'll of course help too." The former said.

Red then looked towards Lance. "Master Lance, will you help too?"

The dragon master said nothing, only crossing his arms before he let out a sigh.

"It's not like there's a choice." Lance said. "Yes."

Red and Green's face both lit up, both of them pumped their fists in excitement.

"Thanks everyone!" The trainer in red smiled. "We promise that you won't regret it!"

Every champion had stepped out of the elevator, on the first floor of the TV station once again.

"I thought we couldn't fit everybody." Red whispered to Professor Carolina.

"We couldn't." She answered. "But we all had to take the same one as the other one isn't working."

They were soon ambushed by many reporters and photographers, having flashes in their faces and constant streams of questions.

"So have you all discovered a way to stop the earthquakes?"

"What did you discuss during the meeting?"

"Are we all going to be okay?"

Lance put his hand out, frustrated with the people.

"Please, leave us be. This meeting does not concern anybody but us."

The journalists and photographers stopped silent, before immediately leaving them be to go back to their job.

Lance turned to the group. "We should all meet back here in about two hours, do what you think is necessary before then."

"Okay." Diantha nodded her head.

The champions started leaving the TV station, which just left the smashers with Red's parents and Green's parents.

"Alright, let's go home and discuss the plan." Cynthia said as her son placed his hand on her shoulder. "Red?"

"There's other people that came with us, but they didn't make it to the basement for some reason."

(Ding!)

The group heard the second elevator let out a buzzer, as it opened up and Mia ran out as fast as she could.

"OH GODDESS!! GODDESS GODDESS GODDESS!" The Beorc panted and gagged. "I'm finally free! Holy-thank you goddess so much! I thought I was gonna pass out! That thing moved up and down, 30 TIMES!!"

Cynthia and Flame Red seemed confused by the woman's reaction to leaving the elevator, curiously as they walked towards the elevator to investigate it.

Both immediately stepped far back and held their noses in disgust, a smell hitting said noses.

"Oh Arceus." Cynthia coughed. "Did somebody send out their Garbodor?"

"I've got one better." Flame Red cleared his throat. "Did someone flush five Muks down their toilet?" Receiving a giggle from his wife.

"Okay, that was better." The Sinnoh champion continued giggling.

Wario made his way out of the elevator, slightly laughing to himself. "Haha, that was fun. Forgot how fun that is. Now let's-"

The fat man's eyes widened when he saw the two new members of their group. Flame Red and Cynthia.

But they were completely on Cynthia, he saw a rant pink surrounding her in his eyes. He saw her laugh in slow motion while fanning her face, most likely fanning the stench that was left in the elevator.

He had hearts in his eyes, oh yes they were completely shaped like hearts. Even his heart was sticking out.

He felt in love.

"Wario? Wario? Hey! Earth to Wario?"

The fat man stopped staring into space, as he rapidly shook his head and saw Red standing in front of him.

"Huh? What do you want kid? You find your parents?" He sternly asked.

"Yep, you were staring just at them for the past few seconds." The Pokemon trainer happily pointed behind him. "This is my father Red and mother Cynthia, both of them are Pokémon champions."

Wario's whole world crumbled when he said that Cynthia was his mother, gone were his hopes and dreams of any romantic future with the Sinnoh champion.

"She's…your mom?" The fat man's eye twitched.

Red nodded. "Yup, she is. Pretty cool huh?"

Wario sighed in sadness. "Yeah, whatever."

"Ohhh!" Mia grinned as she shook both of their hands rapidly. "You're Red's parents? Cool! I'm Mia, I know I look different but that's because I'm from a different universe!"

Flame Red smiled. "It's nice to meet you Mia. Say, you look like someone we found this morning."

Her eyes widened. "Really?! Who was it?"

Blue adjusted his sunglasses. "Why don't we head over to Red's place and find out?"

At Red and Cynthia's house…

In the living room of one of the family's homes, we see a young girl. Around the age of eleven, she has purple hair in a bun and a blue scarf.

A young Gible remained in her arms, as she held it tightly while sitting on the couch.

Kana, the younger princess of Valla.

"Do you think mama and papa are okay Gible?" She asked her Pokémon. "It was nice of that man and that lady to let me stay here, but I miss my family. I hope big sister is alright too."

"Gib." The land shark Pokémon raised one of it's arms, causing Kana to slightly smile.

"You're right, they're all strong."

The young girl felt a hand placed on her shoulder, as she looked up to see a burly man with blue hair and a stoic face.

Ike, the radiant hero. "I wouldn't worry either Kana, your mother and father are respectable warriors."

Both of them then heard the doors open.

"We're back!"

Cynthia said as the entire group came into their house, as the smashers looked around in amazement by how nice the house was.

"Wahaha." Wario rubbed his hands together. "I wonder what's valuable-ow!"

Cloud nudged him with his boot and frowned at him. "Don't bother."

"This is our home." Cynthia presented their house to everyone. "Well, one of them. We travel all the time."

Mia's eyes widened upon seeing Ike. "Ike!" She dashed towards her husband and threw her arms around him. "Good thing you're alright!"

He smiled in response, hugging the Beorc tighter. "I'm glad too, I was worried about you."

"Kana? You're here too?" Aerith bent over to meet the dragon girl's eyes, said dragon girl happily nodded.

"Yep! Mrs. Cynthia and Mr. Red found me and Mr. Ike outside, and they let me stay until they got back!" Kana grinned.

Wario blinked. "Oh that's just peachy, more Fire Emblem people." He said as he turned around.

"Gib?" Gible tilted his head to the side. "Gible!"

The land shark Pokémon jumped out of Kana's lap and towards Wario, with his mouth opened and his teeth bared.

Suddenly, Gible bit down on Wario's butt. Which caught everybody off guard.

"WAHHH!!" The fat man jumped around while waving his arms around. "Get it off get it off get it off!!"

Mia was slightly snickering at Wario's pain. "That's what karma does."

Gible immediately jumped off of Wario, jumping onto Mia's butt and biting it next.

The Beorc grit her teeth. "YOWCH!" She yelped in pain. "He's biting my butt now! Get him off get him off get him off!!"

"Gible no!" Kana tried pulling her Pokémon off of Mia's backside. "I know you like biting people but that's not nice!!"

Wario was now snickering to himself, rubbing his backside while doing so. "Haha, karma."

Kana finally managed to pull him off, as Gible shook his head.

"You don't bite people in the heinie Gible! That hurts them!" She puffed her cheeks, hearing a small chuckle from Cynthia. "Huh? What's funny Mrs. Cynthia?"

The Sinnoh champion had a look of realization on her face. "Oh nothing, your Gible just reminds me of my Garchomp when it was just a Gible."

Red smiled. "Kind of like dad's Charmander and mine." The young trainer then placed his hands to his hips. "So, we've got time before we meet up with the other champions. So what are we gonna do in the meantime?"

"This is not what I had in mind."

Said Red, sitting on the couch in humiliation and embarrassment.

Why? Because his mother was showing the smashers his baby pictures, ranging from when he was first born to him becoming a Pokémon trainer for the first time.

Cloud, Aerith, Ike, Wario, and Mia were crowding around Cynthia. Who showed off all of the photos she had of little Red on her phone.

"Why mom?" Red asked his mom. "They really don't need to see any of my baby pictures."

The Sinnoh champion looked up. "Oh I know but you were so adorable! Here's the first picture."

She showed them on the phone, as some awed or didn't say anything.

"This was me when Little Red was inside my womb." Cynthia said while scrolling through everything. "Then this was Red and I were in the hospital, this was me holding him for the first time!"

"Awwwwwwww." Mia and Aerith said as both of their hands were clasped together.

Red covered his face. "Why Arceus?"

Flame Red wrapped his arm around his son. "What is it with moms and baby pictures am I right kiddo? My mom and your grandmother was the same with me."

His son laughed. "Grandma was like that? Guess there's a lot of things you guys don't tell me."

"Guess it runs in the family."

"Oh right! I have pictures of when Red was getting potty training!"

"MOM PLEASE!"

"And this was the photo we took of Red right before he set off on his journey. See he has Pikachu right in one arm and the his Charmander in the other! He was so excited to start his journey."

Cynthia put her phone away, placing both hands on her lap. "That's all of the pictures I have."

Red let out a quiet sigh of relief. "Good, that's over." The trainer then stood up. "Alright now we have to figure out our plan for stopping the—"

Flame Red then put his hand up. "Hey now, we still have time."

"What?" Red turned to his father. "But we have to-"

"Red." Cynthia said calmly. "We haven't seen you since you left for Smash. Your father's been waiting a long time for you to return."

The young trainer stared at his mother, tipping his hat down after a few seconds. "I mean, it has been a while."

"And I'm sure your old man would love to see how strong you've become." Cloud crossed his arms. "Why not have a battle?"

"Yeah!" Mia hopped off of the couch. "I'd love to see you two go hand in hand in a fist fight!"

Ike whispered to his wife. "Pokémon battling actually."

"I'd love to see you two to hand in hand in a Pokémon battle!" The Beorc corrected herself and turned to Ike in confusion. "What's a Pokémon battle?"

"It's when two or more trainers battle against each other with their Pokémon." Green explained. "They use different moves and abilities until tone of their Pokémon is unable to battle." Soon the girl from Pallet Town felt a hand placed on her shoulder. "Mom?"

Leaf took a sip of her drink. "I'd like to see what you've got too kiddo, why not battle your old lady?"

"I could go for seeing a Pokémon battle." Ike nodded. "Why not a double battle?"

Flame Red turned to his wife. "Hey Cynthia, if I beat Red I get a kiss. Deal?"

Wario raised an eyebrow, as he could feel his face turning red with anger.

The Sinnoh Champion laughed. "Sure, maybe I'll even join you two in battle."

"Grrrrrr…urrrggghhh."

The entire group looked towards Wario, who had a pure red face.

He then jumped up as steam came out of his ears. "WAAAAAAHH!!"

"Uhhh, what?" Mia asked in confusion.

The fat man grabbed his hat and gripped it tightly. "I want a Pokémon battle too!" Wario's statement caused the group to be surprised. "I wanna battle Cynthia! And if I win I get a kiss!"

Red cringed. "Wario, that's my mom! And she's married already!"

"So? A kiss on the cheek should suffice!"

Cynthia pursed her lips, turning to her husband. "I don't know Red, he looks really….gross."

Flame Red nodded. "I know, but he'd never even get one. Think about, he could never beat you."

Her face lightened up a bit in response. "You're right." She moved her hair and smiled. "Alright then, Wario? I except your challenge."

His eyes widened in response. "Really? Ahem." His shock was followed by a cocky grin. "Yeah, that's what I thought! You're going down!"

"Why don't we have one battle after another?" Flame Red asked as he crossed his arms. "Red and I'll go first, then Cynthia and Wario, and lastly we'll do Leaf and Green."

Blue seemed disappointed. "What about me?" Receiving a nudge from Leaf. "Ow! What was that for?"

She gave him a stern look. "Come on Blue, it's always daughter and father battling for you. Give me a turn."

Blue stared at his wife for a few seconds, before sighing. "Fine, kick butt honey."

"Dad!" Green pouted.

"You too princess I'm on both your sides!"

A few minutes later….

Red and Cynthia's house had a Pokémon battlefield right next to it, being a a large and open field. Primarily made of only dirt, as Red stood on one end and Flame Red stood on the other.

In the seats that were outside of the field were everyone except for Red and his father.

"Go Red!" Cynthia cheered. "Let's see how strong you both are!"

"Can't just cheer one on?" Leaf laughed as she took a sip of a drink she had, receiving a nod

"It's my son and my husband, cheering one feels wrong." The Sinnoh champion said.

Ike crossed his arms. "Wonder if we'll see Red use any different Pokémon that isn't Pikachu, Charizard, Ivysaur, or Squirtle."

"He's definitely using Charizard." Cloud turned to the radiant hero. "And there's a reason why."

"Because of…" Aerith realized what Cloud was talking about. "Ohhhhhh. Right."

Wario raised an eyebrow. "Hm? What's that?"

"Okay, let's get this on a role." Blue said as he stood far from the center. "3 on 3 Pokémon battle, the battle's over when one side's Pokémon are all unable to keep fighting. So….BEGIN!"

Red took out a Pokeball. "Alright, Gyrados let's go!"

He threw the Pokeball out, summoning a Gyrados.

"RRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHEEEEE!" The Pokémon let out it's roar.

Aerith's eyes widened. "A Gyrados? I didn't known that Red had one."

"I just cut that thing's head back at the lake!!" Mia's jaw dropped. "Now Red's got one?!"

Cynthia nodded. "Both of them have caught a lot of Pokémon on their journeys."

Flame Red quietly chuckled. "Not a bad choice, Aerodactyl! I'm counting on you!" Throwing out a Pokeball of his own and summoning an Aerodactyl.

"AAAAAAEEEERRR!!" The fossil Pokémon screeched, confusing Red.

"A rock type?" Red smiled. "Then we should have an advantage."

Blue put up his arm. "Fight!!"

Red tipped his hat up, pointing forward. "Okay Gyrados let's start out the battle with Aqua Tail!"

Water started wrapping around the Gyrados' tail, as it jumped into the air and span vertically while in air.

"Aerodactyl, dodge it right now!" Flame Red yelled, as his Pokémon dodge quickly with a wing flap.

Red's eyes widened. "It's fast."

"Now use Iron Head!"

The rock Pokémon's head began glowing silver, with a shiny helmet form on it's head.

"Aaaaaeeerrroo!" Aerodactyl head butted Gyrados, making the Pokémon take damage.

Green was focused on watching the battle. "Not very effective."

"Counter it with Ice Fang!" Rex said as his Pokémon did so, swaying forward with fangs glowing blue.

"GYYYRA!"

"DAAAAAA!!" Aerodactyl yelled in pain as Gyrados' icy teeth sept into its skin.

Flame Red clenched just fist. "Good."

Red smiled too. "Pretty impressive."

Aerodactyl flapped back it's wings, higher up above its enemy Pokémon.

"Both of them are pretty strong." Aerith put her hands together. "And evenly matched."

"Not to mention how they've both got advantages over each other." Cynthia crossed her arms with a smile on her face. "Aerodactyl is a rock type, which makes it weak to water type moves. But Gyrados is also a flying type, which makes it weaker to rock type moves."

Mia seemed impressed. "Wow, so it is pretty much even! That's cool!"

"Nom. Nom."

The Beorc looked at Wario, who was eating from a bag of popcorn and sipping soda from a bottle. "What? It's a good fight. *Burp!*"

Mia shrugged. "Good point."

"Gyrados!" Red yelled. "Use Hyper Beam!"

"Use Hyper Beam too!" Flame Red commanded his Pokémon to use the same move.

Orange balls of energy ignited in the open mouths of these two creatures, as orange beams blasted out of their mouths.

The energy blasts collided with each other, creating a giant smoke cloud. The cloud disappeared, showing that Gyrados and Aerodactyl were close to each other.

"Aqua Tail!" Red said.

"Stone edge now!" Fame Red yelled.

Aerodactyl clapped it's wings once, with pillars of stone forming on the ground under it. It smashed it's wings against the pillars which created small sharp stones that flew towards Gyrados.

Water formed around Gyrados' tail again, as it shoved it towards the rock Pokemon.

The stones hit Gyrados at the same time that the Aqua Tail hit Aerodactyl.

When the clouds of smoke in the air disappeared, both Pokémon fell to the ground. With swirls in their eyes.

"Aerodactyl and Gyrados are…UNABLE TO BATTLE!" Blue threw his arms to the side.

"So it's a tie." Cloud crossed his legs. "Interesting way to start out."

"Gyrados return!" Red and his father returned both of their fainted Pokémon. "Good job, get some rest."

"You too Aerodactyl." Flame Red put his Pokeball away. "Not terrible Red, I see you're way stronger than when you started out. But this is only round one."

The master took out a new Pokeball, confidence dawning his face. "Now then, Espeon I choose you!"

He sent out the psychic Pokémon, Espeon. It shook it's head once. "Esp."

"That Espeon's been with Red since it was an Eevee." Leaf said. "An Eevee that was related to the ones that Blue and I have."

"Espeon? Alright, go Pikachu!" Red sent out his Pikachu.

Electricity sparked from the mouse Pokémon's cheeks. "Pika. Pi?"

"Esp." Espeon greeted Pikachu.

"Pika pika!" He cheered.

"That's right. Espeon and Pikachu were friends when he was with Red."

Flame Red nodded. "Good to see Pikachu still in shape. Let's see if he's still strong though! Espeon use Shadow Ball!"

The psychic Pokémon created a dark purple orb of energy with it's head jewel, shooting it at Pikachu.

"Dodge it with quick attack!" Red said as his Pokémon dashed through the field and jumped off of the ground, missing Espeon's attack. "Now in midair, Skull Bash!"

The mouse Pokémon tucked in it's arms and legs, dashing forward with white energy around it.

"Power Gem." Flame Red placed his hands in his pocket, as a red glow came from it's head gem. Shooting out a red beam.

"Pika!" Pikachu took a direct hit from the attack, launching it back and it landing on the field.

Red looked worried. "Pikachu!"

The mouse Pokémon jumped back up. "Pika!"

"Great!" The boy's worry went away within seconds.

"Hm." Flame Red tipped his hat up. "Use swift."

Espeon span around as stars shot out from it's tail.

Red shook his head. "Not on my watch! Use Thunder Jolt!"

Pikachu pushed forward and shot out small electric blasts from it's cheeks, which collided with the stars.

"Hm?" Cynthia seemed confused. "Thunder Jolt? Never heard that move before."

Cloud turned to the champion. "It's a move Pikachu uses in Smash."

"Oh."

Red threw his hand forward. "Now, attack with Thunder!"

"Pika!" Pikachu created a large thunder cloud above Espeon, as lightning struck down from it.

Espeon dodged it with ease.

"Use Psychic!" Flame Red exclaimed.

Espeon's eyes glowed, when Pikachu was suddenly lifted into the air but it's psychic powers.

"Pi?" The mouse asked before it was sent towards the wall. "Pika!!"

Pikachu almost hit Blue by it's impact, as it jumped off and got back on the field.

"Woah!!" He yelled. "That could've killed me!"

Red grit his teeth. "Gotta think of a plan, Espeon's too fast for many attacks to land. And it's got decent power."

Suddenly, a lightbulb went over the young trainer's head. "That's it!!" He then called out. "Pikachu! Run towards Espeon!"

"Pika!" The mouse Pokémon started dashing towards the psychic Pokémon.

Flame Red grinned. "From one battle strategy to another, Espeon use psychic on the rocks!"

Espeon's eyes glowed again as it lifted up several rocks on the battlefield, launching them towards Pikachu.

"Just dodge them!"

The mouse did so without avail, using quick attack to avoid every single rock tossed at him.

"Now jump on Espeon's back!"

Flame Red's eyes widened. "What?"

Pikachu jumped into the air, diving towards Espeon and holding onto it's back. Espeon struggled to escape but Pikachu was too strong.

"Use full power Thunder!!" Red yelled, with a gigantic thunder cloud forming right above them.

"PiiiiiikaaaCHUUU!!" The mouse screamed as a gigantic thunderbolt erupted from under the clouds and struck them both.

"EEEEEEEEEE!!!" Espeon screamed in pain, being that only one that was taking damage from the attack.

Almost all of the smashers seemed quite surprised by the direct attack.

"Woah!!" Mia especially looked amazed. "That should finish off that Espeon no problem!"

Cynthia quietly laughed. "You think so?"

"Huh?"

The Thunder attack ended, as Pikachu remained on the weakened psychic Pokémon. Espeon's eyes appeared to be closed, and it was shaking in pain.

But it's eyes opened, now with fury and determination in the them.

Red's eyes widened. "No way!" As the other smashers were also shocked.

A small smile emerged from Flame Red's face. "Espeon, Power Gem!"

The red glow came from it's head jewel again, as it moved it's head towards Pikachu. Blasting a red beam right against the mouse's face.

"PIKA!" It let out a cry of pain before falling to the ground, whirls in it's eyes.

Blue put up his arm. "Pikachu's unable to battle! Espeon's the winner!"

Flame Red gave a thumbs up. "Good job Espeon." As his son brought back his Pikachu.

Red smiled at the Pokeball. "You did awesome, rest up."

"Red's got one more Pokémon." Ike crossed his arms.

Kana nodded in response while holding Gible. "Can he beat Mr. Red with only one?"

Red tipped his hat down, total silence radiated from him.

Flame Red looked up. "Hm? What's wrong Red?"

His son quickly looked up, with a large smile on his face. "Alright now I'm heated up!!! I may have one more Pokémon but it won't get me down at all!! Charizard, let's go!!"

He threw his Pokeball, the blue energy releasing from it and landing on the ground. Charizard appeared.

"RRRRREEEEEAAAGGHHRR!" He let out a gigantic roar, shaking the ground.

Flame Red grinned. "So there's Charizard! Alright, Espeon use rapid fire Shadow Ball!"

Espeon fired multiple dark purple orbs of energy, all of them homing in on the flame Pokémon.

"Fly towards Espeon and dodge them all!" Red commander as Charizard took off into the air and flew towards the psychic creature.

In no matter of time, Charizard was standing over Espeon. Which shocked the Pokémon as it didn't expect Charizard to be so fast.

"No way." Flame Red himself even seemed shocked.

"Oh yes way!" Red turned his hat around, pointing to the ground. "Now Charizard, Dragon Claw!"

Both of Charizard's claws flowed green, as they become claws made of green energy. The fire lizard shoved his claws towards Espeon which knocked it right into the ground.

The whirls in it's eyes was the only indication needed to understand that it fainted. Which led to Blue putting his hand up.

"Espeon is unable to battle! Charizard wins!"

"Way to go Red!" Green cheered along with the others.

Cynthia put her hands together. "Color me impressed, and in one attack too."

Ike turned to the champion and smiled. "Charizard IS Red's most powerful Pokémon."

"Dragon Claw though?" Cloud asked. "Didn't his Charizard know Rock Smash?"

Wario looked at the Ex S.O.L.D.I.E.R. "HM's don't exist anymore, so that move doesn't exist."

"Ah."

Cynthia looked to the others. "But do you all know my husband's most powerful Pokémon?"

"Who?" Kana asked.

The Sinnoh champion let out a small laugh, not small enough for them to notice though. "Like father like son."

They gasped.

"My turn." Flame Red said. "Charizard, let's go!!" He threw out his own Pokeball, summoning a Charizard of his own. Which had a small red scar on it's forehead.

It glared at Red's Charizard, letting out a roar. "GREEEEEEEEEEHHHH!!"

Red covered his face from the impact. "Charizard. This is gonna be tough."

"And to start things off, I think full power is necessary." Flame Red took off his sleeveless coat, taking a necklace out of his pocket.

A small rainbow marble was connected to the chain, with a symbol in it.

"A keystone?" Red asked.

"Let the flames ignite from the heart, into a blazing fire of power." Red then grinned, raising up his necklace while a yellow and orange stone that was floating in front of his Charizard. "Mega evolve!!"

The energy between both keystone and megastone were syncing together, making Charizard glow. A third horn was formed above it's head, it gained longer legs, and tears in its wings and arms.

The yellow glow left as Charizard had mega evolved into Mega Charizard Y. Letting out another roar.

Red smiled. "Mega evolution eh dad? Well like father like son!" The young trainer raised his hand, with a ring being attached to his index finger.

There was also a black and blue marble that was floating in front of his Charizard, the same thing happening as before.

But this Charizard was becoming different, it gained longer horns, different design wings, spikes on it's biceps, and flames igniting at the sides of it's mouths.

The yellow glow left, revealing that Charizard now had a blue and black color scheme. It had mega evolved into Mega Charizard X.

"HHHHRRRREEEEEEGGHHH!!" Mega Charizard X roared, turning up the heat of the battle even more.

Pun intended.

"A mega evolution battle." Ike said.

"This is going to be crazy." Aerith placed her elbows on her knees.

Red pointed forward. "Alright Mega Charizard, Flamethrower!" His Pokémon blasted a stream of blue flame from it's mouth, the flames approaching Charizard Y.

"Counter it with Fire Blast!" Flame Red pumped his fist, his own mega evolved Pokémon shooting a flame blast shaped like a star.

The blue Flamethrower stopped the Fire Blast in its tracks, preventing it from moving forward. Soon the Fire Blast overpowered the stream of blue flames, homing in on Charizard.

"Absorb that Fire Blast with Flare Blitz!"

Charizard clamped it's mouth together, blue flames forming around it. It charged forward in fury, absorbing the Fire Blast which only added power to it's attack.

Charizard X crashed into Charizard Y, another cloud of smoke being created.

Flame Red called out his next attack. "Seismic Toss!"

Charizard Y flew out of the smoke while holding Charizard X, it turned vertically and slammed Charizard X down on the ground.

Charizard X stood back up, with blue static coursing through it's body.

"Flare Blitz causes recoil damage." Leaf said. "That's the trade off for power like that."

"Keep up the pressure Charizard, Dragon Pulse!" Flame Red said.

Charizard Y dived right towards the smoke cloud, a rainbow energy building up in it's mouth.

Red raised up his fist. "Use Fly to dodge and then attack!"

Charizard X blasted out with it's wings, as it dodge the dragon shape beam of Y and slammed it's wing up against Charizard Y's jaw.

"Not bad Red, not bad at all." Flame Red praised his sons efforts.

"Thanks, that means a lot dad." Red threw his arm to the side and called out to the sky. "Now use Dragon Claw!"

Charizard X's claws became green energy claws once again, ascending towards it's Y counterpart with it's claws sharp and ready.

Flame Red clenched his fist. "Fight back!!" Charizard Y quickly recovered, putting out it's two hands and stopping X in his tracks.

"What?!" Red exclaimed.

"Without even using a different move?" Ike even seemed surprised.

"Told ya, Red's strong." Leaf had her hand holding up her chin.

Charizard Y now grasped Charizard X's hands, staring it down.

"Now Dragon Pulse!"

The rainbow energy ignited in it's mouth once again, as it blasted the dragon shaped beam into the face of Charizard X.

Charizard X suddenly began descending towards the ground, hitting it upon impact.

Red looked worried. "Charizard no!"

Luckily, Charizard was still in it. But barely able to even stand.

"When Charizard mega evolves into Mega Charizard X, it becomes vulnerable to dragon type attacks because of it becoming a dragon type." Cynthia stated.

Cloud turned to her. "That's a disadvantage then." She nodded in response.

"It's time we finish it." Flame Red clenched his fists. "Blast Burn!!"

Charizard Y's flames became larger and stronger, as it roared when slamming it's fist into the ground. Overheated flames began erupted from the ground, creating an earthquake.

"Flare Blitz let's go!" Red commanded, his Charizard was emerged in blue flames once again.

The erupted ground of heat and the charging fire mass came towards each other, exploding upon impact.

Smoke engulfed the field, nobody could see either Charizard or what had happened to them due to the clash.

The smoke eventually cleared up, revealing that both Pokémon were standing on the field. Staring each other for only a few seconds before one of them collapsed.

And it was Red's Mega Charizard X that fell, transforming back into it's regular form.

"Charizard!" Red called out and ran to his partner.

Blue put up his hand. "Red's Charizard is unable to battle, the winner of the fight is..er. Red, the adult one."

Charizard Y turned back into it's regular form, with Flame Red walking his way over to it. "Excellent work Charizard, you haven't gotten rusty one but." He pet jus head.

"Ragh." His Charizard nodded.

"Charizard are you alright?" Red asked as he checked on his Pokémon, who was covered in bruises and scratches.

"R-regh." Charizard nodded his head weakly, as Red hugged him. "Raw."

Red let out a sigh of relief. "Good, that was an incredible battle. You did amazing."

"Red." Flame Red and his Charizard approached the two. "That was great, you and your Pokémon really have gotten stronger. I'm proud to call you my son."

Red smiled. "Thanks dad! But I couldn't have done it without Charizard and everyone else."

Flame Red nodded his head. "All that training has paid off for the both of us. That Flare Blitz surprised me."

"And that Blast Burb? Insane!!"

The other smashers were settling down. "I can't believe Red lost." Kana said in disappointment.

"His father's really strong though." Cloud crossed his arms. "A lot stronger than I thought."

Cynthia nodded her head. "That's my husband for you, you both did amazing!" She called out. "Now I believe there was another battle at hand."

The Sinnoh champion then turned towards Wario, who just casually threw his popcorn away.

"Alright! I'm ready to battle! And for that kiss too!" Wario smiled, taking out a spray bottle and spraying it in his mouth. "Eh?"

Cynthia slightly shivered, out of ordinary for the champion.

"Of course." She smiled. "But I must warn you, I don't intend to hold back."

A few minutes later….

Now the battlefield was cleared up for the next battle between Cynthia and Wario, both stood at different sides of the field.

"I can be the referee for this fight." Flame Red stated. "It'll be the same rules as last time, which means that both sides will have three Pokémon and—"

"No!" Wario yelled, creating confusion and surprise within the others.

Flame Red raised an eyebrow. "No?"

"I wanna fight with six Pokémon!" Wario took a Pokeball out of his pocket.

Red's jaw dropped. "Wario are you sure? My mom's Pokémon are extremely powerful! Even one of them has the potential to take down all of yours!"

Wario rapidly waved his arm and pointed at the trainer. "Ah shaddup kid!! I know what I'm doing!"

Cynthia closed her eyes, smiling. "A full battle? You sure have confidence." She then took out a Pokeball. "Alright. Roserade, battle dance!"

She threw the Pokeball as her Roserade came out,

"Roserade." It said as he crossed it's arms.

"Oh yeah? Well then." Wario threw his own Pokeball. "Trash Can I choose you!"

Wario's Pokeball brought out…

A literal trash can, one that didn't fall over or even move. This caught everybody off guard.

"Uhhhhhhh, what the heck?!" Mia asked.

"Is…is that an actual Pokémon?" Cynthia asked, completely baffled.

Wario rolled his eyes. "Pfft, what kind of question is that? Of course it is! Trash Can! Attack!"

The trash can just stood on the battlefield for a few seconds, not making a single move.

Until it tipped over and fell on it's side, spilling out trash.

"Um." Flame Red blinked. "I don't really know what to say, but Trash Can is unable to battle! Roserade wins!"

All of the smashers were weirded out while Wario brought back his trash can.

"An actual trash can?" Green asked. "Really?"

Wario took out another Pokeball and threw it. "Go! Vibin Naoto!"

He summoned another Pokémon, or at least he believed it was.

It was a chibi version of Naoto Shirogane, a character from Persona 4 and resident of the Smash Mansion. Named Vibin Naoto.

Vibin Naoto started doing dances in the battlefield, everyone was weirded out once again.

"I…don't know how to feel." Cynthia said. "I suppose I'll just battle! Roserade, use Toxic Spikes!"

"Ro!" Roserade lifted it's arms up, launching purple missiles out of it's flower hands which landed into the ground.

Cynthia threw her arm to the side. "Now, Energy Ball!"

Roserade then created a green ball of energy, blasting it at the dancing Vibin Naoto.

It hit, knocking her down to the ground and taking it down.

"Vibin Naoto is unable to battle! Roserade wins again!"

Wario brought back Vibin Naoto to her Pokeball. "Wah! Alright then, time to use my most powerful Pokeman. John Pork, I choose you!"

He sent out what appeared to be a human and pig hybrid, one that wore an unbuttoned red plaid shirt and blue jeans.

"W-what?!" Red exclaimed. "Wario! John Pork is not a Pokémon! None of the ones you've used so far are even Pokémon!"

The fat man turned back to the trainer. "Johnathon Pork is the most powerful Pokémon in existence!"

"It doesn't even matter what he does, I'll still beat him." Cynthia smiled. "And it's about time for Toxic Spikes to take effect."

The Toxic Spikes rose up from the ground, attacking John Pork.

But the spikes had no affect whatsoever, surprising the others.

"Toxic Spikes didn't work?" Ike asked. "What is that thing?"

"Haha!" Wario laughed. "John Pork is immune to poison!"

Cynthia's eye slightly twitched. "So it's a steel type?"

"No…he's every type in existence!" Wario laughed. "Now John Pork, use Rock Slide!"

A bunch of rocks appeared from the sky and fell down on Roserade, finishing it in one hit.

Cynthia quickly returned her grass Pokemon to the Pokeball, putting it back and taking out another. "Gastrodon, battle dance!"

She then summoned her pink and brown Gastrodon. "Alright! Use Mud Slap!" The Pokémon shot a blast of mud out of it's mouth.

"Use Thunderbolt!" Wario raised his hands to the sky, shocking everyone.

Pun intended.

"Thunderbolt?! But that's an electric type move!" Cynthia exclaimed.

The Thunderbolt consumes Gastrodon, completely destroying the Mud Slap.

"GAAAAAAA!!" It yelled in pain, before fainting on the spot.

"HOW?!" Red yelled, his jaw on the floor.

"Okay that's definitely cheating." Cloud said. "Electric moves shouldn't work at all on ground types."

Cynthia put out her Pokeball. "Gastrodon return!" She put away her Gastrodon, taking out a new Pokeball. "I have absolutely no idea how you even defeated a ground type with an electric type move, but even I have to admit that's impressive. But you won't go any further! Garchomp, battle dance!"

Her Pokeball rapidly span in the air, opening right up as a blue figure landed into the ground. The blue light went away, to reveal Cynthia's ace.

Her Garchomp.

"Gar!" It said.

"There it is, Cynthia's legendary Garchomp." Aerith stated, as the other smashers were impressed by Garchomp's status.

"Wooooowww!" Kana seemed amazed. "That big dragon looks a little bit like you Gible!"

The Valla princess' Pokémon looked up. "Gib!"

Wario laughed again. "No matter what you do, John Pork will never lose! Use phone call!"

John Pork took out a cellphone, dialing a number before putting it to his ear.

Everyone was silent until Cynthia's phone started ringing, she took it out and answered it.

"Um, hello?" She asked, as ominous breathing came from it.

John Pork continued breathing into the phone, not saying a word but only breathing.

Cynthia was now creeped out if anything which was shown as she hung up and put her phone away. "O-okay…Garchomp, use Dragon Rush."

"Gar!" The dragon Pokémon jumped into the air, it's horns glowed light blue and it's body became engulfed in energy shaped like a dragon.

"John Pork!" Wario yelled. "Use—"

Suddenly the entire ground shook, like an even larger earthquake then one that could be made by a Mamoswine.

Everything was violently shaking, affecting the battlefield and all of the land around it.

"W-w-w-w-w-whaaats going on?!" Red asked as everyone was standing up.

"I….I think it's an earthquake!" Green said.

"It's just like the earthquakes we've been having!" Leaf pulled out a Pokeball. "Salemance lift us up!"

She summoned her Salemance. "Sa!" The trainer grabbed her daughter and husband's hands, landing on top of the dragon. "Get on!"

The other smashers nodded their heads and got onto Salemance, which managed to lift all of them due to it's size and strength.

"What is…" Flame Red then saw the waters of the ocean go up. "Oh no! You've gotta be kidding me!" Taking out just phone quickly. "Lance! It's happening!"

"I know, now meet us by the edge of Jubilife!"

Flame Red nodded and put away his phone. "Charizard I choose you!" Summoning his Charizard. "Pick up Red, we've gotta get to the skies."

Cynthia jumped onto her Garchomp. "Let's take to the sky!"

"What about me?!"

She looked down to see Wario standing on the battlefield, seeming apologetic.

"Just…use your pig man."

Wario shook his head. "He can't fly, plus I kind of just wanna leave him here."

Cynthia looked at him, letting out a sigh.

---

"Wahahaha! Wee!!" Wario cheered as he was riding on Cynthia's Garchomp with her.

"I can't believe this is actually happening." Flame Red said as he was in the air with his Charizard and son, the entire group had managed to get safely in the air.

They saw two gigantic beasts in Sinnoh's ocean. One being Primal Groudon the continent Pokémon, and Primal Kyogre the sea basin Pokémon.

Both were doing battle with each other, shaking the grounds.

"No way!" Red held his hat down. "It's Groudon and Kyogre!"

"Hoenn's legendary Pokémon." Cynthia muttered.

"Red! Cynthia!"

The groups turned to the Pokémon champions, Steven on his Shiny Mega Metagross, Diantha on her Mega Gardevoir, Lance on his Dragonite, Iris on her Hydreigon, and Leon on his Charizard.

"Groudon and Kyogre suddenly appeared here! We don't know how they just all of a sudden appeared!" Steven explained. "And if they're battling, that might mean-"

He was soon interrupted when a space-like portal opened up in the sky, Rayquayza flew out of it in a short amount of time.

In it's mega evolution form.

Soon enough multiple portals were opening up in the sky, releasing large amounts of legendary Pokémon.

Lugia, Regigas, Dialga, and Palkia. Every legendary Pokémon you could imagine. But none of them seemed normal.

They all had glowing purple eyes, and what appeared to be a device controlling them.

"Every legendary Pokémon?!" Green exclaimed. "Is there a Hoopa around here or something?"

Leon pointed at all of the legendaries. "Who's that?"

There was a giant platform floating around them, with one man standing on it and a giant red R on the front.

The man wore a black suit and had a sinister smile.

Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket.

"It's Giovanni!" Flame Red exclaimed, as his teeth were railing against each other. "Is he controlling all of them?"

"But how?!" Cynthia asked.

Red placed his hand on his chin. "What if was Dade?"

"Huh?" Everyone turned to him.

"Think about it, Dade's gathered almost all of the Smash Mansion's enemies. Who's to say he didn't get Giovanni involved?"

Ike nodded. "Good point."

"Dad." Red looked to his father. "Fly us in close to Giovanni."

"What?" Flame Red asked in surprise, before agreeing. "Alright, I'll do it. Go Charizard!"

---

"Hmm hmm hm." Giovanni happily hummed. "It was generous of Dade to give me control of EVERY legendary Pokémon. I just don't know which region to take over first, oh I know. Sinnoh!"

"Not on my watch!"

"Huh?" Giovanni looked above him, seeing Flame Red's Charizard dive towards him. "Ah! Red!"

Charizard landed on the base, with both Red and his father jumping off.

The leader of Team Rocket adjusted his collar. "It's been a long time, father AND son today."

"Can it." Red pointed at him. "What are you doing here?"

"What does it look like? World domination!" Giovanni grinned.

"Where'd you get all of the legendary Pokémon?" Asked Flame Red.

"A gift from Dade." He rubbed his index finger and thumb together. "He was more than happy to bring in Team Rocket for his domination of the multiverse, and he's letting me to take this universe."

He glanced at Red, and then at the smashers on Leaf's Salamence and Wario on Cynthia's Garchomp.

Giovanni let out a small laugh. "But it seems he didn't actually finish off any of the smashers, Magalor intentionally messing up again."

Flame Red let out a hasty breath. "Giovanni, I'm gonna give you five seconds to leave and get rid of your control on the legendary Pokémon. If you don't."

He took out a Pokeball, pressing a button as it expanded.

"I'll make you leave." He tightened his grip on the Pokeball, causing Giovanni to laugh.

"Hm hm hm. Really? Still angry about that?" The leader of Team Rocket laughed, taking out his own Pokeball. "Still angry that your wife and son almost wouldn't be here by one little bullet?"

Flame Red grit his teeth, he could remember a traumatic event that happened in his life almost 13 years ago.

He threw his Pokeball to the ground, summoning his Blastoise. "BLASTOISE!!! USE FOCUS BLAST!"

"Blas-toise!" It exclaimed as it shot a light blue energy blast from one of it's canons.

Giovanni summoned two Pokémon of his own, being a Nidoking and a Rhyperior. "Rock-Wrecker." The latter created a large rock from the holes in the palms of it's hands before throwing it.

Both attacks collided.

"Attack it head on!!" Flame Red commanded as his Blastoise charged at him.

His son looked slightly intimidated. "I've never seen dad this mad before. What was Giovanni talking about?"

He snapped out of his thoughts, looking at the control pad of the base. Then he saw his father's Blastoise and Charizard battling against Giovanni's Rhyperior and Nidoking.

Red made a break straight for the control pad, pushing a bunch of buttons on it. "Alright, I've just gotta figure out how to free all the legendary Pokémon and then try to just make this thing go away.

"Hmhm." Giovanni laughed. "I see you're still as diligent as ever, your title of Pokémon master isn't just a name. What?"

He saw Red messing around with the controls on his control pad, his eyes widened.

"No!" The leader of Team Rocket ran towards the control pad, grabbing the trainer by his arms. "Get your hands off of this, child."

"Hey!" He exclaimed. "Let go of me!"

Their antics caused the platform to start rapidly moving, tilting them from side to side.

---

"Ack!" Cynthia exclaimed as her Garchomp barely dodged an attack from Mega Rayquayza. "I hate to say it, but there's too many legendary Pokémon here, coming from somebody who loves learning about old legends."

"Ahem."

She turned to see Wario proudly smirking with his arms crossed.

"What?" The Sinnoh Champion asked. "Do you have a plan of sorts?"

The fat man nodded his head. "I do." He then pulled out three Pokeballs and a clove of garlic the size of his hand. "Now fly me up as high as possible!"

Cynthia didn't know what Wario was up to at all, but she just decided to do what he said and flew up.

Wario threw out his Pokeballs, all summoning the creatures that were inside of them.

All of them were John Pork, and they were all flying in the air.

"You have more of those?" Cynthia asked in surprise.

"Keep flying up!" Wario said as she did so with Garchomp, as the fat man ate the garlic clove in one bite. "Now dive in the center of all those big Pokémans!"

Wario suddenly transformed into Wario man as he was hanging onto Garchomp's back, sticking out his backside.

This could only mean one thing.

"John Porks!" He yelled. "After I let it rip, use your super mega abilities to get rid of the devices controlling the Pokémon!"

They all nodded, starting to do some crazy movements.

Cynthia perked up when they reached the center of where all the legendaries were. "Wait, what did you mean by let it ri-"

"HAVE A ROTTEN DAY!!"

Something so large appeared in the sky, a gigantic noise was made as it was created.

Even from far away in Sinnoh, you could see a giant yellow cloud engulfing the air.

---

"No! I'm not in control anymore!" Giovanni exclaimed as John Pork's power destroyed the devices he used on the Legendary Pokemon.

The boss of Team Rocket was then grabbed by his collar, being held up in the air on the platform. Being held up by Flame Red . "What? Red? But I thought-"

He glanced over to see that his Nidoking and Rhyperior had both been defeated.

"Listen." Flame Red pulled him into his face. "I'm not going to kill you, I'm above doing something vile like that. But I want you to leave, and to never come back here ever again. Got it?"

"Dad." Red said quietly.

Giovanni slightly chuckled. "So you're more intimidating, good to know." He took out two Pokeballs, bringing back both of his ground type Pokémon. "But I'll be seeing you later now."

He then pushed Flame Red away, taking out an orange crystal and tossing it to him. "Catch."

Flame Red caught it in his hands, glaring at him. "Giovanni don't you-"

But Giovanni had jumped off, using another orange crystal he had and teleported away.

"Dammit." Flame Red clenched the crystal in his hands. "He got away, again."

"Um, dad?" Red tugged his father's arm. "I'm sorry but we need to get off this thing."

The Pokémon master nodded his head in response. "You're right, we'll just shut it off so that the legendary Pokémon can go back to nor-"

"ALREADY DONE!! WAHAHAHAHA!"

They looked over to see the giant yellow cloud, as well as Wario-Man flying out of it on Cynthia's Garchomp.

The fat man turned back into his normal form and forced his muscles. "I'm number one!" He seemed to be the only one that was in good health.

The same couldn't be said about Garchomp and Cynthia, the former was sick and the latter was sick.

"*Cough* *Cough* *Gag!*" Cynthia coughed and gagged. "That was…extremely gross. But..it worked!"

"Gar." Garchomp nodded in agreement. "ChoCOMP!"

---

Later….

Many of the legendary Pokémon were no longer in Giovanni's control, but they weren't going back to their homes now as their way of arriving here was no more.

So now they were just sitting around in Jubilife City, minding their own businesses without fighting at all. Even Groudon and Kyogre weren't clashing.

"Woo boy." Kukui said. "This…is gonna be a lot to clean up."

"Well why not leave them here for now?" Leon asked. "We'd need all the power we can get with defeating Dade, correct?"

Red nodded. "Yeah, and summoning every legendary Pokémon proves he isn't messing around."

"Waha! I knew that would work!" Wario exclaimed as he was with the other smashers.

"Yeah, it did." Cloud nodded. "On…everyone."

Mia gagged in response. "My mouth was wide open, WIDE OPEN!!" The Beorc screamed. "I'll never breathe well again!"

"I won't lie, I don't think I will either." Ike crossed his arms.

Steven placed his hand under his chin when speaking with the other champions. "We should all return to our hotels for now, in case of-huh?"

The champion and lover of stones took out his cellular device. "Oh! Reports from Hoenn are saying that the earthquakes have stopped!"

"What a coincidence." Diantha was looking at her cellphone too. "It says the same about Kalos!"

"So…did saving the legendary Pokémon stop the earthquakes?" Leon asked.

Lance nodded his head. "Has to be, the whole thing was essentially started by Groudon and Kyogre in the first place."

"Well, my little brother's waiting back at my hotel. So I'll be seeing you all around, cheers!" Leon exclaimed as he ran in one direction.

Soon enough the other champions were leaving, as Flame Red was looking down at the orange crystal that he acquired from Giovanni.

"What does that crystal do, dad?" Red was looking at it. "I know you got it from Giovanni, but has it done anything yet?"

Flame Red shook his head. "It haven't, but I think you should hold onto it for now." He placed it in his son's hands.

"So, now that that's over." Cynthia crossed her arms. "Who says no to a little bit of lunch?"

Her husband grinned. "Sounds perfect, I'm starving."

"I say we get pizza!" Green raised her arm.

"I've got a proposal about who should pay." Aerith raised her hand, immediately everyone turned to Wario.

He raised an eyebrow and looked around. "What? I'm NOT paying for everyone's pizza you bums!"

Flame Red let out a small laugh. "Don't worry, I can pay for everyone."

A few minutes later….

The smashers as well as Red's parents were now at a pizza restaurant in Jubilife City, sitting outside and enjoying some pepperoni and cheese.

While their Pokémon were out and enjoying some Pokémon food.

"Mmm, MMM!" Mia exclaimed with joy as she chewed on her slice of pizza. "I forgot how good this food is! Can't find it in Tellius, what's it called Ike?"

"Pizza." The hero answered as she picked up another slice. "It's very popular everywhere back on Earth."

The Beorc nodded, repeatedly chewing on the rest of her slice. "Well it's delicious! Wish we had it back home!"

Wario threw his slice into his mouth, swallowing it with ease before wiping his gloves on Mia's Silver Sable suit.

Mia turned and glared at him. "Hey! My suit isn't a napkin you know."

The fat man shrugged in response. Whatever." He let out a burp.

Cynthia took a sip of her drink, setting it down. She looked in front of her to see that her son hadn't taken a bite of one slice on the table.

"Red?" The Sinnoh Champion asked. "What's wrong?"

Flame Red finished off one of his slices and wiped his mouth on his arm. "Yeah kiddo, not hungry right now?"

"Dad."

"Mm?"

Red looked his father directly in the eye. "When we found out that Giovanni was controlling the legendary Pokémon, you seemed to get mad quickly."

Flame Red pursed his lips.

"Then he said something about mom and I not being here because of a bullet?" The young trainer asked again. "That really set you off, and you already seemed angry before."

Cynthia put a hand to her mouth, as she let out a hesitant breath.

"Mom?" Red asked. "What's wrong?"

Flame Red put his arms around her, kissing her on the cheek. "It's alright Cynthia, I think he's ready."

"What's going on? What happened?" Red asked again, completely lost.

Flame Red nodded his head, complete silence ignited between the Pokémon and the smashers. They had become curious about what Giovanni referred to before.

"Alright." Flame Red adjusted his hat. "I'll tell you all about it. When I was 19 years old, I had completely stopped Team Rocket. All of their members had been arrested, and Team Rocket was officially no more. Then two years later, Cynthia and I got married."

"And then I became pregnant with you." Cynthia continued her husband's story. "I was eight months along and we were at a party in Celestic Town."

Twelve years ago…

Parties for Pokémon champions were pretty common in their lives, what rich or famous person wouldn't want to invite champions of what your entire economy was based on?

As such, the newly wed couple had been invited to a fancy party being held by Wallace, gym leader from Hoenn.

Flame Red and Cynthia could be seen by one of the food tables, Red wore a black suit and a bowtie while Cynthia wore a red sleeveless dress with her hair tied in a ponytail.

"Wow." Flame Red said as he looked down at his wife's enlarged stomach, as she placed a brownie into her mouth. "Only a few weeks eh?"

Cynthia nodded her head, placing her hand on her stomach. "Are you nervous?"

Flame Red crossed his arms. "I guess I am. I never had a father growing up, it was only my mom."

She smiled in response and put her hands on Flame Red's cheeks. She then leaned in close to him. "Well she raised a wonderful man, you'll be perfect. I know it."

The Sinnoh Champion then kissed him on the cheek, causing him to blush. "I need to use the bathroom, I'll be back." Cynthia turned around and walked towards the bathroom.

Flame Red watched his wife leave the ballroom, admiring how beautiful she was when she took simple steps.

"Hello Red." Said Professor Oak, as he had been invited to this party as well.

"Oh, hey Oak." The trainer smiled, turning his attention to the Pokémon professor.

Cynthia was making her way to the woman's restroom, nobody was in the hall and it wasn't easy for anybody to see someone in the restroom hall.

Little did she know that a figure in disguise by mask had followed after her.

She was about to go into the restroom.

But she was grabbed, grabbed by the man in disguise. Cynthia was suddenly pinned to the wall by one of his hands.

She let out a shocked breath. "W-what? What do you want?"

"I've been looking for you, and Red." The man said, but Cynthia couldn't recognize him due to his mask.

Cynthia could feel the trepidation rising in her body, that was a rare thing for her. "Red too? Who are you?"

The man took off his mask, revealing himself to be one of Red's oldest enemies.

Giovanni.

Cynthia's eyes widened in response. "Giovanni! What are you doing here?"

"I've been waiting for this for a long time." The leader of Team Rocket said. "You're husband brought my group down to its knees. I spent years, decades of my life creating Team Rocket. And he came and dismantled it all, all of my hard work!"

"You were stealing Pokémon." Cynthia grit her teeth. "And killing them! Red did nothing but a favor getting rid of your corrupt organization run by scum like you!"

Giovanni let out a small laugh. "I see, so that's how you see it. Well, your husband took away what was special to me."

He reached into his pocket, and aimed the object at Cynthia's stomach.

He pulled out a gun.

Cynthia's eyes widened, sweat trickling down her head. "No, please don't."

"I should take away what's special to him." The man laughed, constantly poking the Sinnoh Champion's stomach with the tip of his handgun. "Imagine, just one little bullet is all it takes to make your child stop breathing."

Cynthia's breaths were becoming hesitant with each passing section. "Please…I beg you…don't kill my baby. He isn't even born yet, please!"

"The champion of Sinnoh, begging." The former Team Rocket leader said. "I wonder, would he be broken at the loss of his wife and child? I wonder."

Giovanni suddenly moved the gun to the side of Cynthia, firing a bullet.

That set Cynthia off.

"HELP! HELP PLEASE!!" She screamed, trying to break free from his grasp.

"Stop screaming." He demanded. "I won't intentionally miss ag-"

"Drop the gun Giovanni."

The former Team Rocket leader turned his head slowly, where Red stood with his Charizard and Lance stood with his Dragonite.

Lance had a revolver in his hand.

"Well." Giovanni smiled. "Got me at gunpoint too I see."

"Drop it right now." Flame Red tightened his hands. "Drop it and walk away, get the hell away from her, and get out of here."

He laughed. "How do you feel? Having your pride and joy removed from your life?"

"Agh." Cynthia said as she gripped the side of her stomach.

There was a small bit of blood trickling out of a cut.

Likely a graze from the bullet Giovanni misfired.

Flame Red grit his teeth, jumping towards Giovanni and pinning him to the ground which made the leader drop his gun.

"YOU BASTARD!! You almost killed her!!" He yelled while beating down on him, delivering punch after punch against Giovanni's face.

"Red, Red!" Lance yelled as he pulled him off. "Stop."

Flame Red glared at him. "Your pregnant wife isn't against the wall in fear and bleeding while she and your own child almost just died!!!"

Lance glared at him. "Then comfort her."

The Pokémon master's eyebrows raised, as he nodded and ran back to Cynthia. He held her head and got on one knee, making sure she was fine. "Cynthia, are you alright? Oh Arceus did he shoot you?"

"It's just a slight graze." She breathed. "I…I think I'll be fine. Oh, oh no…."

"Oh no? What do you mean oh no?" Flame Red brought himself closer. "Cynthia what's wrong?"

Cynthia looked up at him, panting and sweating. "I-I think it's time…"

Red's eyes widened. "What? No, are you serious?"

"I think, I felt my water break."

"Oh Arceus." Flame Red gripped his chest. "We're weeks early. Come on!"

He helped her up, placing her arm around him and helping her run. "Everyone help!! Cynthia's in labor we need help!"

Giovanni let out a small sigh. "I only saw that as business."

"Can it." Lance said, still pointing his gun. "You're going to the slammer, and we're gonna make sure you never get out."

"And that's what happened."

Flame Red put his hands together.

Everybody was left in shock, their mouths were widened open and their eyes were wide.

"So, I almost died?" Asked Red, not knowing how to exactly take this in. "And it was by Giovanni?"

Cynthia nodded. "He intended to miss, but a chip of the bullet slightly hit my stomach which caused it to start bleeding. It wasn't fatal, so I would be fine. But then you started kicking more than usual."

"I was born early." The young trainer said. "But now I know why you were angry dad."

Flame Red placed his hands on the table. "He almost took away you and Cynthia from me, that memory always makes me mad. No matter what."

"Goodness." Aerith put her hands on her lap. "I'm so sorry that happened to you two."

"It's alright Aerith." Cynthia said. "We've gotten over it for a long time, and it's been easier with these."

"What's that?" Red asked.

The Sinnoh champion took out her phone, pulling up the photos app.

"Oh no."

She then showed them a picture of baby Red with a Charmander plush, lying in his crib.

"Our little Red's baby pictures!" She said with glee, before scrolling to another one. "And this is one where we were visiting a Pokémon lab when he was two years old. He got so excited seeing all of them that he tried getting in the room where they were! Then here's another where my husband is feeding him, he never liked blueberries as a baby!"

Red put his hands on his head. "Yep, I know I was adorable. Dad please stop her."

Flame Red shrugged in response. "Thinking back on it, you were pretty adorable. I remember you used to run around the house naked when we tried to get you to take a bath."

"DAD!"

(Crash!)

The group heard the sound of grass breaking, looking to where the sound came from.

Wario was standing with one of his hands open, and orange crystal shards were on the ground.

He had dropped the orange crystal that Flame Red received from Giovanni.

The fat man looked up at everyone. "Uhhhhhhh whoops."

"Wario!" Ike exclaimed. "Are you serious?"

"My hands were slippery from the pizza! It was an accident!" He yelled.

"How did Tully even get that?" Cloud asked. "Red's father literally just gave it to…him?"

All of them started glowing orange, completely worried for what would happen to them.

Suddenly they all disappeared, along with their Pokémon.

Elsewhere…

We are brought back to our universe traveling group, now they were in a strange looking universe to say the least.

"Well I will say. I kinda roll with this place." Scott the Woz said, they were on a rotating obstacle course where a monkey was being moved around in a ball.

Stan turned to him. "Why did we bring this guy again?"

Eric took out his device. "We're in a universe where monkeys are rolled around in balls by a controlled obstacle course."

"These universes just keep getting weirder and weirder, don't they?" Spider-Man asked.

Pit squinted his eyes at the obstacle course, trying to see the monkey. "Hey! That's AiAi!"

"Sonic's monkey pal?" Phosphora asked, pulling down her mask. "Then let's go get him!"

"Shouldn't we think this through a bit?" Bill asked. "You never know what happens when you take a wild animal away from it's habitat. There was once a woman who had a pet chimpanzee and it-"

"Got him!" The demigoddess grinned as she had the monkey in his arms.

"Ooh?" AiAi asked.

Pit put his hands on his knees. "Hey AiAi! The whole multiverse might be destroyed, do you wanna help us?"

The monkey nodded his head in response. "Ooh ooh ah ah!"

"Great! Onto the next universe!"

"Just remember Pit, if he throws poop on me it's your fault."

"Huh? Why me Phosphora?"

The Greater Sacred Machine landed on the ground of another universe, with Phosphora and Pit jumping out of the hatch.

"Where are we now Eric?" Pit asked.

Eric checked his GPS. "A universe where, everyone is obese."

They suddenly saw a bunch of people rolling around, and then a giant hamburger being devoured by giant people.

Phosphora pursed her lips. "Uhhhh no thanks. Outta here!"

She turned and walked back towards the Greater Sacred, walking past Pit.

But she didn't as her hand had accidentally touched his. Now the two of them were holding hands, on accident that is. Both of them were now blushing.

"Uhhh, Phosphora?"

The lightning demigoddess quickly retracted her hand. "My bad! Let's go!"

The Greater Sacred Machine appeared in a small space now, one that was essentially a basement.

One that had a TV, multiple video game consoles, posters, and a huge collection of games.

Pit, Phosphora, and Stan were the ones to get out of the mech. Checking out the room that they just crashed into and partially destroyed.

"Wow. Lots of video games." Phosphora picked up a game on the floor. "A lot of really bad ones."

"Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?" Pit asked as he was examining games. "The Karate Kid? Big Rigs Over The Road Racing? Superman 64?! These games are absolutely terrible!"

"Even a CDI and a Virtual Boy." Stan was squatting down. "Who would actually want to own these?"

"What the f?! What the hell happened to my basement?!"

The trip turned to see a man in the doorway. One wearing a white button up shirt with a breast pocket that had pens in it, glasses, and khaki pants.

Pit's eyes widened upon seeing the man. "Dear Sweet Palutena! It's the Angry Video Game Nerd!"

"That one YouTuber from 2006?" Phosphora asked. "Weird."

"What the hell are you weirdos doing in my basement? What load of shit have I gotten into myself this time?!" AVGN asked.

"Wanna come help us save the universe?"

He shrugged. "Eh, why not? Beats the yell out of playing any of these shitty games." He took out a bottle of beer, downing it in a few seconds. "Let's roll."

As the crew made their way back into the Greater Sacred Machine, someone was singing and playing the guitar.

"He's the Angry, Video Game, Nerd."

The group from Sinnoh had suddenly appeared appeared somewhere, falling right to the ground.

"Ow!" Rex exclaimed. "Urgh. Where…oh."

He opened his eyes to see that they were in some sort of underground cave. There was grass, a small lake and waterfall, trees, and even a bit of sunlight coming from a hole above them.

"It's the All Star Rest Mode area from Brawl." Wario looked around. "I haven't seen this place since 2008!"

Ike crossed his arms. "But why are we here? This doesn't make much sense at all."

"RED! Is that a you?"

The group turned to see Mario and Luke running towards him, not so far away Bowser and Pauline were standing by the Odyssey.

"Mario?" Red asked. "When did, how are you guys here?"

Luke decided to explain. "We ended up in New Donk City because of the black hole, then Fawful and this giant Bowser showed up and we defeated him. Then he dropped this orange crystal and we ended up here."

"That sounds exactly like what happened with us." Flame Red placed a hand under his chin. "Giovanni came and we defeated him, then Wario over there dropped the orange crystal we had."

"Oh really?" Mario looked up at him. "That's a interesting." He casually said, before his eyes widened. "WAIT! A BIGGER A RED?!"

Flame Red slightly chuckled, when Cynthia walked next to him.

"And a Cynthia, the champion of a Sinnoh?" The plumber asked. "What's a going on here?"

"Mario, these are my parents." Red introduced them. "They're pretty awesome."

While the plumber was introducing himself to the young trainer's parents, Ike and Cloud took notice of Luke.

"So you got sent along with them?" Cloud asked, receiving a nod from the teenager. "Thought so."

Ike glanced at the sword Luke held in his arms. "What's with the sword?"

Luke held it to them. "Don't know, found it in the city. Just stabbed in the ground, wonder where it came from."

"Sooo. I'm guessing we all just wait here until something happens?" Wario asked, plopping down on the grass. "Okay."

Suddenly a large screen was displayed, catching the attention of all the smashers. On it displayed an event going on right now.

They saw a mech-ship hybrid flying through space, with many people inside of it.

"Is that, Pit and Phosphora?" Mia asked as she squinted her eyes at the screen.

"And Spider-Man?" Bowser asked.

"Bill and Eric?" Luke saw the two officers. "Who's that guy with the glasses?"

Wario's eyes widened. "The soccer game Nintendo loser! What's he doing with them? This is insane!"

The screen suddenly went away, confusing the smashers even more.

Until Wario's phone started ringing, prompting him to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Why'd ya leave us here?" Asked a low and weird voice.

His eyes widened. "John..Pork?"

"Ya just left out here after doing your dirty work. Why'd you leave us back here all by ourselves?"

"Yeah, why didn't you answer our other calls first?"

The fat man began to sweat. "Uhhhh, I schr ccktappre you're breaking up!"

"Warioooooooo."

He immediately hung up.

Back in Dade's castle, we see him sitting on his throne.

Adorning a new form, large and muscular, a hybrid of all the smashers. This is what the DNA had turned him into, a monster.

While Antasma stood next to him.

"Urgh." Dade rested his elbow on one of the arms of his throne, his fist under his cheek.

"Veeling alvight?" Antasma looked to him.

The monster nodded in response. "Yeah Antasma, I'm fine. I just have some weird feeling, that something might go wrong."

The dream bat nodded. "I see, but I think things vill turn out just vine."

"Lord Dade!! Lord Dade!!" Pleaded a Boss Bokoblin as it ran into the room, able to speak due to a device around his neck.

The Ex general sat up from his throne. "What is it?"

The Boss Bokoblin just panted.

"Out with it fatass! What?!" Dade barked.

"Giovanni and Fawful are back, they've got bad news."

The two just mentioned made their way into the throne room.

"The smashers are still of living!!" Fawful exclaimed. "They ended the amazing plan of me taking over New Donk City!"

"They stopped my plan too." Giovanni said. "They're all alive."

Dade's eyes widened. "WHAT?!" He used his Ridley tail to press a button on his throne, pulling up multiple floating screens.

It was true.

(Play heroic uprising music)

All of the smashers were alive, he saw many of them in different worlds. Still alive and breathing, walking around in the different universes.

This greatly angered Dade.

"No, no…DAMMIT!!" He screamed while picking up his chair, proceeding to throw it out of the giant stained glass window behind him. "THEY'RE ALL SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!!! I THOUGHT I KILLED THEM ALL! SHIT!!"

He pressed a button on a remote. "ATTENTION ALL VILLAINS!! THE SMASHERS ARE STILL ALIVE!! THEY'VE BEEN SEPARATED ACROSS MULTIPLE UNIVERSES!! FIND THE UNIVERSE THEY'RE IN AND GO AFTER THEM!! I WANT EVERYBODY IN AT LEAST ONE UNIVERSE WITH SMASHERS IN IT!! NOW GO!!"

He smashed the remote.

"We'll see what happens when they actually get killed this time!!"

In a distant land, where there are islands in the sky.

A hero lies down on the ground of a cave.

"What, what happened?" The hero asked as he sat up.

It was none other than BOTW Link.

But, something was different about him.

He looked at his right arm, it was no longer there.

Well, his regular arm wasn't.

Now it was some sort of green and brown armored arm.

He jumped straight up.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY ARM?!"
