Everyone knew about the relationship between the Seraphim and the Exorcist... Well, except Sera. It isn't that the younger Seraphim was lying to her, she just wanted sure how Sera would react. So the two simply kept quiet about it when around her. Viola still had yet to tell Adam, for different reasons.

The pair were now in Emily's room, preparing their day, which was unfortunately an Extermination Day. Emily was rambling as her bodyguard handed her the blue shoes she normally wore, "Oh, I can't wait for our little date later! I've never gone on a theater date before! I mean, I've seen plays but not with someone as a date!" She then hugged the exorcist tightly.

Viola giggled within her grasp, "Me neither! It was nice of St. Peter to get two tickets for us." She looked at the clock on her girlfriend's nightstand, hoping that they would be able to have their picnic before she had to leave for her other job. But she smiled at Emily and took her hand in her own, "We can share a nice time together watching..." She looks down at the tickets and squinted her eyes to see the name, "'The Nutcracker.'" She then playfully bowed to her girlfriend, "Just the two of us!" Taking Emily's hand in her own, she kissed the back of it.

Just then the door opened and an older woman's voice was heard, "...What are you girls doing?"

Viola's lips quickly came off her girlfriend's hand, a golden blush rising to her face. She hid her own hands behind her back.

Emily gasped as she holds the hand the exorcist kissed to her chest, "Sera! I, um... Viola and I were just getting ready to go to the theater and we..." She looked up at her mentor, who was still confused. The smaller Seraphim then looked to her girlfriend, who nodded. She held Viola's hand in her own, "I guess I'll just say it, Sera... Viola and I are dating!"

The white-clothed angel's eyes widened as she quickly looked between the pair, "So you two are... Courting each other?"

The blue angel frowned up at her caretaker, "Yes, you sound... Disappointed." She felt Viola squeeze her hand, "...Is it because we're-"

Sera took a deep breath before she looked down at both girls, "No, no, it's nothing like that! I am fine with it. I was just a little surprised, that's all. Whatever makes you happy, Emily. And besides, there are... Worse options than Viola for you to be with." Her smile was a tiny bit strained.

The exorcist quickly tilted her head, "There are?"

Emily gasped, "Viola!"

The white haired angel smiled awkwardly at her girlfriend, "What?" She then gave her a smile when she saw her girlfriend was frowning, "Aw, Emily, I'm sorry. I thought I was being funny."

Her girlfriend held her hand tighter, "You're not allowed to say that about yourself! I would never consider you my worst option! Never ever!" She then pulled Viola into a hug.

The small angel started to blush and hugged Emily back, "O-okay, I won't say something like that again. I'm sorry."

The much older angel coughed to get both their attention again, "Besides, it's not like the two of you did a exchanged feathers or anything."

The two younger girls stopped hugging before looking up at the Seraphim. Viola scratched the back of her neck, "...Is that a bad thing?"

Sera narrowed her eyes at the exorcist, "What do you mean by that?"

Emily played with her fingers before she looked up at her caretaker, "Well, Viola let me keep one of her feathers in my pillow case a while ago and I haven't had a nightmare since. So it can't be a bad thing."

It was then that the head Seraphim began to laugh, honestly surprising the younger angels. She covered her mouth in an attempt to stop the laughter but it continued. She put her hand on her chest once the laughter subsided, "Oh, you two scared me for a moment. But I suppose neither of you would know that exchanging feathers with the one you love is an old way of proposing to one another in Heaven."

The blue angel's eyes widened, "Oooooh! Not right now, hehe!" She held her girlfriend's hand tightly.

The exorcist nodded along with her, "Yeah! Yeah! I love Emily with all my heart but not yet." The two both giggled as their hands were intertwined.

Sera smiled at the two angels below her, "Now that that's settled... Viola, will you please join me in another room? I wish to speak to you in private."

The white haired angel nodded, "Yes, ma'am!" She let out of her girlfriend's hand, "I'll be right back and we'll go on our date, I promise."

Emily let out a giggle as the two other angels walked through the door, "Hehe okay! But I'm holding you to it!"

Once the two were behind the closed door of an office down the hall, Sera turned to the younger angel, "Viola, you do remember not to tell Emily about our secret, don't you?"

The smaller angel relaxed her hands behind her head, "What secret?" It took her a second but her eyes then widened in realization, "Oh yeah! The Exterminations. I don't really think about those when I'm around Emily... It's like I forget about them." She turned to Sera with a smile on her face, "Which, I think is a good thing."

Sera nodded, "...I would like to think it is a good thing as well. I just wanted to ensure that you remembered, especially now that you are Emily's... Consort. Now, you may go on your date with Emily." Eyes started to appear in her hair to look at the smaller exorcist, "Oh and Viola, I trust you not to break Emily's heart."

Viola gave her higher up a bow, "Don't worry, ma'am, I wouldn't think of that!" She then turned to enter the hallway.

After leaving the office, Viola quickly went back to her girlfriend's room. The two were then on their way to the theater, walking the cloudy path together. They talked among each other, with the Seraphim pointing at the little shops on the street.

Emily smiled at her girlfriend, "That went better than I expected with Sera. Oh! We should get some new outfits sometime! I wonder if we could convince Adam to let you have a different kind of uniform."

Viola raised an eyebrow at the Seraphim, "Oh yeah, I guess we were both worried for nothing. Really? I like my uniform. Besides, maybe we should get some snacks to eat during the play."

The blue angel kept her smile as they kept walking, "I like your uniform too! But I've never seen you in different clothes, besides, it could be fun! But yes, snacks would be lovely!"

But then a black haired angel with golden wings landed in front of them, smirking, "Sup, ladies? You two going somewhere together?"

The exorcist put her arm around Emily's shoulder, "...Yes, Cain. Like always. What do you want?"

Cain smiled smugly at the pair before clutching his shirt, "Aw and without me? Viola, I'm hurt! I thought I was your favorite of the first man's sons! We should totally hang out together!"

The exorcist simply rolled her eyes at this, it was something she never said. Emily held onto her girlfriend's arm, fingers playing with the glove, "...Viola, it's fine." She gave her a worried look, wanting to deescalate the situation.

The white haired angel shook her head at her girlfriend, "What? No, Emily, this is supposed to be a date."

The golden and black angel shrugged his shoulders, "Oh, it can still be a date, girlies! A date between the three of us."

Viola put her hand up in a stop motion in front of the both of them, "Eh, no thank you."

Emily moved to hug her girlfriend's side, "Yeah, Cain, we only have two tickets. But we can all hang out some other time though!"

Cain simply shrugged his shoulders again, "Aw well, we can go on the date right now and your bodyguard can stand guard outside, Sugarfoot. Unless Bodyguard's the one who wants to go on a date with me."

Viola's grip on her girlfriend tightened, "Do not call her that. Cain, neither of us are going to go on a date with you so can it."

The black haired angel smirked and made a cat scratch motion with his hand. He then moved his hand closer to the exorcist to touch her shoulder, "Oh kitty's got claws! Aw come on, Viola! It would be fun! Don't be such a buzzk-"

Suddenly, the exorcist let go of Emily, shifting her behind her body. She grabbed his wrist, "...Cain, my job is to protect Emily. That includes from other people who bother her, even if she's too nice to say it herself. And as her girlfriend, I am only going to say this once. F- off." As she cursed, she squeezed his wrist even harder. Hard enough to the point where a pop was heard. She let go of him after hearing the noise.

Emily gasped and grabbed her girlfriend's shoulders, "Viola!"

Viola relaxed her shoulders in her grip, "What? Adam says that all the time."

Cain held his injured wrist, interrupting Emily as she was about to speak, "Oh yeah! Well speaking of my dad, he's gonna hear about this and totally fire you! How do you like that?"

The smaller exorcist shrugged back at him, "Okay fine, go on and tell him."

Sera landed behind the three angels as the exorcist was speaking, her wings extended outwards as soon as her foot hit the ground, "And what is going on here? Why am I hearing all this commotion?"

The black haired angel frowned as he saw his father's boss, "High Seraphim, she popped by wrist for no reason! She crushed it with her hand and now it hurts!"

The exorcist stood up straight when she addressed her highness, "It's true, I squeezed his wrist just a bit too hard. He was interrupting my date with Emily and he wouldn't stop annoying the both of us. So as her girlfriend and her bodyguard, it was my duty to step in and I may have gone a bit too far."

Caine glared at the smaller angel, "I was interrupting nobody's date! You two were just hanging out and then you suddenly attacked me!"

The High Seraphim shook her head, "Viola has no reason to lie to me, Cain. Besides, I am already aware of the nature of their relationship. You may leave and talk to your father if you wish." This made the other angel finally fly away to leave them alone, shaking in anger.

Emily tilted her head at her higher up, "Sera, what are you doing here?"

The tall, white angel looked down at her ward, "I was on my way to a meeting when I heard your voice. You sounded like you were in distress so I stopped to check if you were alright. I'm glad I stopped when I did."

The smaller Seraphim played with her fingers, "I wasn't really in distress, Viola was with me. Cain was just... Well, being Cain." Viola nodded next to her, frowning.

Sera could tell that they both were bothered by the interaction, "Hm... I can see that, I have gotten reports about his behavior. I will continue to talk to Adam about him. Your... Consort is not normally one to attack another without good reason. I appreciate you protecting Emily, Viola."

Viola put her hand on her girlfriend's shoulder, "Of course I would, Sera. I will always put Emily first." She then nodded at her higher up, "And I thank you, High Seraphim, for being here as well."

The tallest angel looked up at the nearby bell tower for the time, "I am glad I could be of assistance. I must go to my meeting now, Ophelia is waiting for me. You girls have fun at the theater."

"We will!" "Yes ma'am!"

After Emily's caretaker left, the younger Seraphim frowned at her girlfriend and took her hand in her own, "Viola, are you not worried you could be fired from being my bodyguard?"

Viola rolled her shoulders and squeezed her hand tighter, "No, not really. I think I'll be fine though. I'm more worried about you, I didn't like him bothering you so I felt like I had to do something..." She kissed her girlfriend on the cheek to reassure her, "I'm sorry. And besides, knowing my boss, he will probably say something like-"

Cut to Adam in his office, laughing at his son's injury. Vaggie was standing on his left, shaking her head. While Lute was standing at their boss's right side, smiling as she held back a snicker.

The first man could not contain his laughter, "No way! Pfffft, no way Viola did that to you! Viola?! Of all people!" He was hitting his fist on his desk as he saw his son look away, "Oh! Oh my f-, you're not joking! Dude, Viola's the weakest of my army! Lute, you can't pick on Viola this week. She gets brownie points for this. I never knew she had it in her." Once he stopped laughing, he readjusted himself in his chair, "So tell me, what'd you do to piss her off?"

His son crossed his arms, "I was just doing my usual thing, you know! Flirting with the beautiful ladies! And I was trying to flirt with Emily. Well, the both of them since they were just walking together."

Vaggie walked forward, mainly talking her boss, "Actually, sir, they're dating."

Cain frowned at her, "What! Well that doesn't-"

Adam sat up straight at his desk, "Woah! Viola's dating the little Seraphim? That! I did not f-ing expect! Now she has to tell me all about it when she gets back-Wait, oh shit!" He looks at the clock on his desk and pumps his fist, "Cain, can it for now! We'll talk later! Now girlies, call up Viola because it's EXTERMINATION TIME BABY!" He sang in a rocker voice as he held up two rock and roll hand signs.

Meanwhile, Viola and Emily were sitting in the theater together. While watching a woman dance onstage, Viola rested her hand on the Seraphim's. The blue angel smiled back at her with a blush before leaning her head against the exorcist's shoulder. Which was now making Viola blush more than she was.

The white haired angel smiled at her, whispering, "You're adorable, mi cariƱo."

The Seraphim nestled closer to her with a wider smile on her face, "I see someone has been practicing Spanish, now that's adorable. Especially with that cute blush you have."

The exorcist let out a giggle, "Of course, the lieutenant has been teaching me how to speak it in my off-time. Who said your blush-" But then she felt a hand on her other shoulder. Vaggie whispered while shaking her shoulder, "Hey, sorry to interrupt your little date but come on. It's time to see the boss, we got business to discuss." She briefly looked at the Seraphim next to her when she said it before back to her comrade.

The smaller angel frowned, "Aw what, we have to go right now?"

Her mentor nodded, "Unfortunately, yes. You know there's no discussing this, right?"

Viola sighed and rose from the theater seat, "I know, I know. Well, that sucks... Aw man, Emily, I'm so sorry I have to go. This is my fault, I should have timed this better."

Emily met her sad face with a smile, "Aw Viola, it's okay. We can watch the whole thing on a different date, I promise." She leaned up and kissed Viola on the cheek, "You go do your thing, I love you."

The exorcist's eyes sparkled at this, "I... Oh wow... I love you too!"

Vaggie smiled at them but shook her head, "Come on, Viola. We have to go."

The smaller angel blinked out of her love-filled daze, "Oh! Uh, yes, ma'am!" She waved good-bye to her girlfriend, "I'll see you tomorrow, Emily."

The small Seraphim nodded at her, waving at her, "See you tomorrow, Viola." She then turned her attention back to the show with a smile on her face.

The two exorcists walked out of the theater and flew off into the distance together. Eventually meeting with the exorcist army outside of the main part of Heaven. Vaggie stood next to Lute in front of the army. Boob waved to them but then Adam flew in front of Viola before she could join her.

The first man had a wide smile for her, "Hey Babycakes! You're finally here to join us!"

The smaller exorcist rubbed the back of her neck, "Yes, I'm sorry I'm late, bo-Wait 'Babycakes'?"

The golden winged man nodded his head, "Yeah! Cuz you know, you're small." He ruffled a hand on the top of her head, messing up her white and gray hair, "Now put on your helmet because it is Extermination Time!"

Viola looked at her mentor while fixing her hair. She looked confused when putting on her helmet.

Vaggie put on her own helmet, "He heard about you popping Cain's wrist and that you're dating Emily now. He mentioned something about you earning 'brownie points', whatever that means in his head."

The small exorcist tilted her head at her, "Oh! ...Huh, weird." She then flew off to join the rest of the soldiers in the group behind her.

Boob smiled when her smaller friend joined her in line, "Haha, you got your hair messed up by Adam. I guess you impressed him with that stunt you pulled." She slapped her on the back, making Viola stumble a little.

The white haired exorcist regained her balance, "Hey! Come on, Boob!" This just made her comrade laugh and shrug her shoulders.

Adam has a wide smile on his helmet, "Alright ladies! Let's get this show on the road!" He pointed down to Hell, giving all the exorcists the go-ahead to start their game of predator and prey.

Viola flew forward below her mentor before flying down to stab a black and white bear demon, twisting the spear in her hands. She got up as the sinner stopped moving for more to get rid of. She yanked her spear out of the sinner's body as she flew forward.

Vaggie swung her spear to cut through the neck of a nearby ferret-like sinner. Her face was stone cold, even with her mask on.

Boob was moving through a crowd of sinners, slicing each and every one she saw to make them fall to the ground. With a smirk on the LEDs of her helmet.

After quite a while in the chaos of the Extermination, Viola flew after a small, green lizard-like sinner who was in the middle of running away from the bloodshed.

The lizard fell on the ground, covering her face, "Please no! I-I have a family to get back to! My mom and sister are waiting for me at home! Please!"

The exorcist froze, not really knowing what to do. An image of Rosemary and her young daughter at their bakery flashed in her mind. And then she thought of herself and Vaggie. The white haired angel imagined herself in the place of this sinner no bigger than she was and started to breathe quickly. She clutched the chest of her uniform tightly when her breathing went even faster. The lizard sinner ran away, nearly tripping over a turned over garbage can before being cornered by more exorcists.

Viola felt her arm get pulled by another's hand, which made her attempt to pull away from the other person. She heard the familiar voice of her lieutenant from the helmet-wearing exorcist in front of her, "Woah, woah! Hey, Viola, it's me! Chill out for a second!"

The smaller angel stopped struggling in the air, "Vaggie?" She let her mentor pull her to a nearby rooftop, above their comrades slaughtering sinners below them.

Vaggie had the both of them land on the rooftop and moved her hand to rest on her back, "Are you okay? Did you get hurt? You froze up back there."

The golden eyed exorcist nodded, swallowing a lump in her throat, "Y-yeah, I'm okay. I don't know why but the one that begged got to me... I-I'm sorry..." She sat on the roof, pulling her knees to her chest with tears in her eyes.

Her mentor knelt down to put her hands on her shoulders, "No no, it's okay. Breathe for a second." She looked around at the sinners below them while the smaller exorcist did what she was told, "You stay right here, okay? Just take a small break, I'll be right back."

Viola nodded, still sitting down, "Yes, ma'am!"

...Unknown to the both of them, this is the last time either of them would see each other for three whole years.

Vaggie landed on a lanky green demon wearing a mask, stabbing her spear into his back and through his chest. She stood up slowly before ripping her mask off, looking for more sinners to kill. She flew around more, chasing after a young sinner with red hair and wearing old clothes. They both turned a corner until the young demon ran into an alleyway. The smaller sinner sat on the ground, pulling his knees to his chest before covering his head to brace for the impact of her spear. The little guy was crying when she looked at her own shadow, the darkness looked more like a monster than an angel.

The lieutenant couldn't help but feel guilty as the child cried, dropping her spear. She whispered to him, "...Go." The sinner looked at her as she continued, "Run, now."

But as the child ran, she didn't notice the figure stalking behind her until it was too late. Her eyes widened when she turned to see Lute behind her. The second lieutenant grabbed her arm before taking out her angelic sword.

With one swipe, her sword sliced into her left eye. Causing Vaggie to cry out in pain, falling to the ground. Lute flicked her wrist, the eyeball landing on the ground before she stabbed it with her sword again. She stepped closer to the woman on the ground as she attempted to back away from her. The exorcist stepped on her head, "Such FILTH like you has NO place in Heaven!"

She then put both her hands on Vaggie's black wings and tore them off her back, making her cry out in pain again. She started to breath heavily as the pain took over her body.

In the view of her one eye, Vaggie could make out the figures of Lute throwing her wings to the ground and Adam taking her black halo from her. She continued to breath heavily on the ground, exhausted with the golden blood dripping from her eye ad her back.

After minutes of waiting, Viola stood up and looked at the carnage below. She then heard another familiar voice ring out in the air, "The hell are you doing? Taking a break?" And it wasn't Boob.

Viola turned to see Lute walking towards her. She backed up a little as the other got closer, "I-um-Yes, I am, second lieutenant. The lieutenant said-"

The eyes on Lute's helmet narrowed into a glare, "Nope, get those orders out of your head right now." She grabbed the smaller angel by the collar of her uniform, "You're going back down there and fighting until time is up! You hear me?" Lute held her up in the air and walked with her to the edge of the rooftop.

The smaller angel nodded as she grabbed onto her arm to steady herself, "Y-yes, ma'am! I'm sorry, ma'am!" She briefly saw a flicker of golden liquid on the other woman's sword.

Lute nodded, "Good! Now get down there and wreck some ass!" She then threw Viola off the roof to fight more sinners on the ground. She then flew off on her own to find more blood to shed with Adam joining her.

Viola stumbled in the air a little but was able to steady herself with a simple flap of her wings. When she landed, she missed the redheaded child in old clothes running into an abandoned house for cover. The exorcist flew around, looking for more sinners to kill. But she noticed she couldn't find her lieutenant anywhere, "...Hey, where's-"

"Hey Viola! Come here!"

The small angel turned her head towards the voice to see Boob stabbing a sinner in her back while she laid on the ground. The taller exorcist had a grin on her helmet, "Let's get your numbers up, shall we?" She held her hand open for her friend to take.

Viola then took it, allowing her older friend to swing her towards a few sinners nearby. She didn't smile when her spear stabbed through the giraffe man's abdomen but she kept going as her spear became covered in blood. Some of the crimson liquid covered a part of her helmet. She tried to pick up her spear to slice another, only to find that her spear dug into the brimstone ground below her.

Boob shouted as she threw her own spear, "I got it!" Her weapon cut clean through the shark demon's neck, killing her on the spot. She flew over and took her weapon back from the ground, "Aw come on, Vi, pick up the pace! That's one point for me! Shall we continue?"

The smaller exorcist nodded and yanked her weapon out of the ground. She flicked the blood off her white spear, "Yes ma'am."

Her older friend nodded back at her before they both moved to attack more sinners at the same time. Viola being slower than her comrade.

Soon, the two heard the gong ring through the air, signaling that the Extermination was over. The ferret sinner below her coughed when she took the spear out of his stomach. She flew up to follow Boob, briefly turning around to see other ferret demons pick up the injured one, must have been his family. She turned back around, not wanting to see the result.

Viola flew around the crowd of exorcists, her head swishing around as she looked for her lieutenant. She flew closer to Lute and Adam while they all traveled through the portal.

The smaller angel played with her fingers as she looked at her superiors, "Hey, uh, has anyone seen the lieutenant?"

Her boss shrugged his shoulders, "Eh, she quit the band, Babycakes." He twirled Vaggie's black halo on his finger before patting her on the helmet, "Don't you worry about it, she's already taken care of."

The smallest exorcist blinked, "Huh?"

Lute glared at her as she spoke up, "...The traitor got what she deserved." With her hand now off her sword, she yanked Viola closer by her collar, "I'm in charge now. You do what I say when I say it. And there is no Vaggie here to coddle you anymore. Got it?"

Viola quickly nodded, "Y-yes, Lute." She tried to move away from her only see that Lute's grip didn't loosen, "I mean, lieutenant!"

The white haired woman's frown turned into a smile before she let her go. She pushed her away slightly, "Now, hit the showers. You'll be starting on your extra training tomorrow..."

Viola let herself fly back until she was next to Boob, who looked just as nervous as she was. Even when she patted her on her helmet in reassurance, she could see that Boob didn't exactly look happy at the news of Lute being their new lieutenant.

After her shower and putting her bloodied uniform in the laundry, Viola went to her room to put on a matching dark gray uniform from her dresser. She looked down at her upper arm, seeing a scar that resembled a stitch mark that twirled around her limb, "These are still there? I thought they would disappear eventually. Maybe I can ask Vaggie about it tom-Oh... Right..." She put on the long white glove before picking up her bloody helmet and sitting on her bed. She began to wipe away the crimson liquid from the black protective gear, frowning as she thought of her mentor, "What did Vaggie do? She couldn't have done something that bad, she was really nice to me... Nice people don't..." She stared at her own reflection in her helmet, "I mean..." She shook her head at her reflection, "...Let's not think about that." The exorcist looked down at the gray floor of her room to escape her own gaze, "I... I miss you, Vaggie. I miss you a lot..." She hugged her helmet close to her chest after she finished cleaning it, wiping at her eyes when she felt the tears build up.

Soon, Viola finished wiping her tears and she put her helmet back on her dresser. She turned her light off before she walked back to her bed, getting under the covers. The white haired angel looked up at the ceiling, her mind racing with the thoughts of what her mentor could have done to be considered a 'traitor.' And even at the thought of Lute's glare towards her. Wondering what she could mean by 'extra training.'

The small exorcist sighed as her golden eyes refused to close to get her much-needed sleep, "Oh no..."
