Hello everyone! Here we are off to another potential Super Smash Bros. character. This time, we'll be looking at the main character of the obscure 2D Run and Gun game, Silhouette Mirage. Give it up for Shyna Nera Shyna (Sinna Nuetlarva Sinner in Japan).
While I never beat the game, I did like the characters and settings. It would help if Treasure made a Silhouette Mirage remake or remaster in the future as well.
Let's see how our Messenger of Justice steps into the world of Smash!
Shyna Nera Shyna (Sinna Nuetlarva Sinner)
Origin: Silhouette Mirage
Description: In the year 2000, a computer system known as "Edo" initiated an attack upon all living entities that came to be called "Armageddon." The Edo system caused a molecular change in the attributes that make up every living cell, causing genetic mutations. During this tragedy, the inhabitants of this world were separated into two classes: The Silhouettes, led by the violent and wild Megido, and The Mirages, led by the intelligent and tyrannical Hal.
Shyna Nera Shyna, The Messenger of Justice, has the power of both Silhouette and Mirage. Having awoken from suspended animation due to failing of the Edo system, Shyna's mission is to restore Edo and restore the world to it's original form before the catastrophe despite losing parts of her memory, including her strongest powers and the location of Edo. She is assisted in her mission by Gehena, an AI that lives inside Shyna's body, and Bug, a Mirage enemy turned ally. At the end, will Shyna rely on Edo to heal the world or will she take up the task to heal the world herself?

Intro Animation: Shyna comes out of a warp portal and as soon as she lands, Shyna pulls her hat down tightly before letting go and getting into her fighting stance.
Series Logo: A sphere with a devil wing moving counter-clockwise on top while an angel moves clockwise on the bottom.
Home Stage: Super Core Fighter 2
Assist Trophy: Zohar - Zohar will appear and depending on what form they appear in, they will do the following:
Zohar Metatron: If Zohar is in the Purple Male form, he will use his sword to attack the opponents. He will fly toward the nearest target and slash at them. At the end of his run, he will end it with a sword stab, unleashes a gyser of power.
Zohar Sandalphon: If Zohar is in the Pink Female form, she will use her gun to attack the opponents. She will keep her distance from the opponent while she fires homing shots at them. At the end of her run, she will fire a full screen piercing laser shot across the stage.
One thing both forms have in common is that they will be flying the whole time, making it tough to hit Zohar if they're Sandalphon. They will occasionally jump on top of projectiles to avoid them, so keep it in mind if your trying to KO them.
Special Attacks
Neutral Special: Surosa - Pressing the button repeatedly will make Shyna fire continuous Mirage/Silhouette Bullets.
Side Special: Reflector - Shyna will summon a reflective barrier for three seconds. Any projectile wpthat hits the barrier will bounce back at the opponent and damage them. Anyone who attacks Shyna's Reflector physically will be stunned instead. It will leave Shyna vulnerable from behind however.
Up Special: Envia - Creates Wing Shields as Shyna goes into a spinning jump animation. The Shields will protect Shyna until the animation ends. Also functions as a vertical recovery move to get back on the stage.
Down Special: Angara - Places a Mine on the ground and will detonate once it hits a pn opponent or if the opponent steps on it. Only one Mine can be placed at a time.
Final Smash: Parasite Bomb - Shyna uses Cavitas to lock on to multiple opponents before firing multiple beams at them. Once it connects with at least one opponent, Shyna will use all seven of her Parasites for seven different Parasite Bombs, hitting the opponents from all angles. This will deal heavy damage and knockback or will instant kill an opponent if they're over 100% Damage.
Special Effect: Shyna fires Silhouette (left) or Mirage (right) type attacks depending on which direction Shyna is facing. Some Characters take more damage from Mirage attacks while others take more damage from Silhouette Attacks. Whenever Shyna appears, the opponents portraits will show either a Polly Pepper (Mirage) or Spectre (Silhouette) symbol to determine what their weakness is. If they have a Polly Pepper symbol, they're weak to Silhouette attacks and vice versa. Shyna's Up Tuant will flip Shyna's colors around, so keep it in mind.
Standard Attacks
Jab: Does a Punch before performing a 5 hit dual slash combo with a Mirage "Blade" and a Silhouette "Blade"
Forward Tilt: Swings a Mirage/Silhouette "blade".
Up Tilt: Does a Spin Hop with her hair "arms"
Down Tilt: Does a Spin Sweep with her hair "arms".
Dash Attack: Performs a Crouch-Dash.
Aerial Attacks
Neutral: Does a kick.
Forward: Swings a Mirage/Silhouette "blade" forward.
Back: Thrusts a Mirage/Silhouette "blade" behind her.
Up: Swings a Mirage/Silhouette "blade" above her.
Down: Stabs a Mirage/Silhouette "blade" downward.
Smash Attacks
Forward Smash: Uses Priday to throw out a boomerang type attack. The attack will also return to Shyna in the process.
Up Smash: Uses Grattoni to fire a short range beam attack upward.
Down Smash: Uses Rasti to unleash a gas cloud.
Grab and Throws
Pummel: Punches the opponent with her hair repeatedly, while making them drop coins as a visual gag.
Forward Throw: Punches the opponent far away.
Back Throw: Vaults over the opponents head and blasts them away with a Mirage/Silhouette Bullet.
Up Throw: Throws them up and fires a Cavitas beam at them.
Down Throw: Slams the opponent onto the ground.
Taunts
Up Taunt: Floats up and does the stance change motion. This causes her colors to flip as a result.
Side Taunt: Sits down and hums happily to herself.
Down Taunt: Winks at her opponent while tossing and catching three coins.
Colors
Appearance: Her Silhouette Mirage outfit, with the left side of her outfit being one color with the right side being another.
Color 1: Her default colors (Left is Red and Right is Blue)
Color 2: Bug (Left is Green and Right is Yellow)
Color 3: Hal (Left is Teal and Right is White)
Color 4: Megido (Left is Purple and Right is Orange)
Color 5: Polly Pepper (Left is Light Orange and Right is Pink)
Color 6: Specter (Left is Light Blue and Right is Dark Green)

Victory Poses
Victory Theme: Silhouette Mirage Stage Clear Jingle.
Victory Pose 1: Does a twirl and pumps her fist up with her eyes closed and a huge smile.
Shyna: "I did It!"
Victory Pose 2: Watches the fireworks going off above her alongside her Parasites with a content grin.
Victory Pose 3: Bugs appears and opens up a portal with Shyna turning back to the screen with a confident smile.
Shyna: "Thanks for Playing!"
Trailer
Mario, Kirby, Zelda, Snake, Mega Man, an Inkling Girl and Pit are running through Viridi's Reset Bomd factory in an attempt to prevent the Goddess of Nature from dropping it on a human town in the Kid Icarus world. However, they are barred by Dark Pit, Piranha Plant and MewTwo who start attacking and barring off the seven heroes as the time on the Rest Bomb is now at 1 minute and counting down.
MewTwo is fending Zelda, Snake and the Inkling with It's Psychic powers while Piranha Plant is spreading poison at Mario, Kirby and Mega Man, slowing them down while Pit and Dark Pit once again battle. The timer is now 30 seconds as Viridi, the Goddess of Nature, gloats triumphantly as her projection appears.
Viridi: "Well Pit, it looks like more monkeys will be eradicated today and there's nothing you or your friends can do to stop it."
As she says this, Pit and the others look on in terror as the timer begins to count down from ten seconds, but as it reaches the 3 second count...
?: "PARASITE BOMB!"
A mysterious blast of power hits the Reset Bomb as it falles out the drop hatch, destroying it mid-fall.
Viridi: "WHAT!? Who dares stop my Reset Bomb!?"
Suddenly, a small girl appears alongside seven little creatures. As she pushes the rim of her hat up, she then points at Viridi.
?: "The one who plans to restore Edo and save the world! I'm the Messenger of Justice, Shyna Nera Shyna! But before I do that, I must stop your evil!"
SHYNA NERA SHYNA HAS REAWAKENED ONCE AGAIN!
Shyna then charges forth with her Parasites. The cutscene then changes to gameplay as Shyna lands on the Rest Bomb Forest stage as she stares down MewTwo as she pulls her hat down and let's it go.
Shyna: "Alright you vile bully, time to show you what I can do! Let's go!"
Shyna then runs toward MewTwo as she grabs It and pummels It with her hair and leaps over It.
Shyna: "Ally Opp! Go Surosa!"
Shyna then shoots MewTwo with bullets before unleashing a Side Smash.
Shyna: "Priday!"
Shyna throws out an energy boomerang before getting knocked off the stage by Piranha Plant, but Shyna recover with the help of another Parasite.
Shyna: "Envia!"
Shyna lands on the stage and then uses her Reflector to bounce the Piranha Plants attack back at him before jumping above him and throwing a mine down.
Shyna: "Angara! Grattoni! Rasti!"
Shyna follows up with her Up and Down Smash to fire a curve laser upward and as soon as Piranha Plants falls back down, Shyna unleashes a gas cloud sending the Plant flying.
Dark Pit then tackles Shyna into the Super Core Fighter 2 stage where the two throw down with each other. Dark Pit has a bit of an upper hand.
Dark Pit: "You're not getting in my way of dealing with goody two-shoes here!"
Dakr Pit activates his Final Smash at Shyna, but the Messenger times it just right with a Reflector, bouncing the attack back at him, dealing heavy damage. Shyna then breaks the newly arrived Smash Ball.
Shyna: "Sorry to burst you bubble! But your master's evil scheme ends! Cavitas! Set him up for a world of pain!"
Cavitas locks onto Dark Pit and sends him into a wasteland, with Shyna firing off seven different types of Parasite Bombs.
Shyna: "See you later emo boy! PARASITE BOMB!"
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate X Silhouette Mirage
After the cut, it shows the dark angel being sent out of the Reset Bomb Factory alongside MewTwo and Piranha Plant. The factory starts to fall apart and blow up in the process as Shyna and the others escape on eight Warp Stars with the heroes doing a cheer in victory as Viridi looks on in anger and disbelief.
Viridi: "Not my Depot again! You Messenger of Destruction! You're officially on my "To kill list"!"
Shyna then tips her hat and she gives a cheecky wink at the Goddess of Nature.
Shyna: "That's Messenger of Justice..."
The screen does an Iris Out transition on Shyna's face.
Shyna: "...and don't you forget it!"
The screen closes out to black.
Shyna is then added to the Smash Mural.
Palutena's Guidance
Pit: "Hey, it's the Messenger of Justice girl who helped out with Viridi the other day!"
Palutena: "I see you already met Shyna Nera Shyna! It was a surprise she helped out with the Reset Bomb issue the other day!"
Pit: "Yeah, Viridi's still salty about it. She didn't even want to talk about Shyna today."
Palutena: "It's probably for the best. In regards to Shyna herself, she was created to assit with the Edo System in the year 2000."
"However, an error in Edo caused a genectic mutation to instead transform mankind into two different beings known as the Silhouettes and the Mirages. Shyna was then put into suspended animation as a result of the failure."
Pit: "That's gotta suck, but at least makind wasn't wiped out... more or less... but what about Shyna? Considering that she's up and awake?"
Palutena: "Shyna was reawoken to restore Edo and restore mankind back to how it was. She is assisted by an AI program named Gehena as well help from Bug, a Mirage soldier who decided defect from his group and help her. Sadly, if she were to be defeated, Gehena wouldl detonated Shyna in a last ditch effort to get rid of every Silhouette and Mirage..."
Pit: "WHAT!? Why would they turn her into a living bomb!? Wait a minute... so if I KO her, Skyworld will go boom!?"
Palutena: "No need to worry about that. Ever since she either restored or abandoned Edo, the detonation program has become inert as a result. So both you and her will be fine."
"Now in regards to how you fight Shyna, she's very versatile. She has good recovery moves and a wide arrange of special attacks to keep you on your toes. She also has something similar to your Guardian Orbitars to reflect your attacks."
Pit: "Copycat!"
Palutena: "Technically, she had this move long before you did, but she's light weighted, so you can send her flying if you keep your cool and plan out when to strike."
"Just make sure she doesn't hit you with Silhouette type attacks. Since you're Technically classified as a "Mirage" type enemy, you'll take more damage from the Silhouette moves more then Mirage attacks."
Pit: "Understood, but... I'm not an illusion though. That's what a Mirage is... right?"
