Diva in Distress

Life quickly went back to normal… well as normal as life could be for the rangers. Tommy and Kimberly were working together on the rangers' training and were also beginning to make progress on their relationship. Hayley was also more involved and agreed to helped as tech support now that Tommy was returning to the battlefield. The redheaded genius began to show Kimberly how to operate the Dino Lab's computers, so Kimberly could help the rangers whenever Hayley couldn't be in the lab.

After Kira's successful first gig at the Cyberspace, Hayley gave Kira and her band more opportunities to play at the café.

Kira was playing her latest song, I'm Over You, in the midst of the bustling café. While the rangers, Kimberly, Hayley, and Trent were paying attention to the show, Kira was a bit disappointed that the rest of the audience wasn't as engaged as her friends were.

"I'm over you… better believe it's true. Oh, I see in your eyes of the time that you lied. I'm over you… darling, I'm done, I'm through. You can say it again that you want to be friends… but when we get to the end, I'm glad I'm over you."

Kira ended the song… while she did get some applause, she was still disappointed she didn't get a better reaction. She hopped down from the stage to join her friends… at least her friends had paid attention and were enjoying her music.

Conner had enjoyed the song and complimented Kira, "That was awesome. Is that something new?" Kira nodded, "Yeah, I'm still working on the hook, but I think there's something there."

Ethan smiled, "I'm telling you if this superhero gig doesn't work out, you definitely have a musical career to fall back on."

Kira gave Ethan a small smile as she sadly replied, "It's kind of hard to have a musical career when you can't even get anyone to listen to you play."

Trent was bringing Kira a drink and had overheard the disappointed singer's comment, "Well, I was listening, and I think you rock."

Kira smiled and noticed Trent was working on a new drawing in his sketchbook, "Hey, what are you working on?"

Trent quickly shielded his drawing… Kira had been the inspiration, and he wasn't quite ready for her to see the drawing, "Not until it's done." Kira gave a knowing smile, "Fine." She felt Trent was a talented artist, but she could understand that Trent was protective of his art.

Tommy felt bad for Kira… he knew she was talented, and hoped her performances would improve, "Nobody appreciates good music anymore… all you hear on the radio is that pop garbage."

Kimberly nodded, "That's the truth… I think Kira is more talented than some of those pop hacks."

Hayley agreed, "Yeah, like what's her name- Kylee Styles." Kira's eyes went down at the mention of Kylee Styles…. Kylee was a former friend who had made it big and discarded their friendship once she became famous. Conner quickly chimed In, "Hey, Kylee Styles has some good music."

That caused everyone to groan… Ethan quipped, "Translation- he thinks she's fine."

Conner quickly denied, "No, I don't." Ethan gave Conner a knowing look, so the red ranger admitted, "Okay, yeah, I do… but that has nothing to do with it."

Kira replied, "You know, she used to be a really good songwriter. She was really sweet, too. But now she's all about image."

Ethan quirked an eyebrow at Kira, "You say that like you two are friends."

Kira answered, "Well, we used to be." Both Ethan and Conner gave Kira a disbelieving look causing her to reply, "What? It's true. We were in a band together… then she got discovered by this agent and now she's this huge pop diva."

Conner rolled his eyes, "Oh, come on, you don't expect us to believe that do you?" He couldn't believe that Kira actually knew the famous singer.

Kira shot back, "Believe what you want… it's true." She really did have a genuine friendship with Kylee… the only reason why the boys didn't remember the pop diva was because she left school as soon as she became famous.

Tommy smiled at Kira, "No matter what these two think, I believe you Kira." Kimberly nodded as well as she smacked Conner's shoulder, "I agree with Tommy… if you listen to her first album, Kylee's sound was similar to Kira's until she went full blown pop."

Ethan quickly looked up Kylee's website on his laptop, "Ah, here's your chance to prove it. According to her fan site, she's going to be in town promoting her new CD."

Conner replied with huge enthusiasm, "Oh, we are so there!" He then teased, "And since you two are such good buddies, you can hook me up." Hey, if Kira really knew the singer, Conner wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to meet his celebrity crush. Kira rolled her eyes at the red ranger, "Whatever."

The doors of the café had opened, and Trent waved hello at the person who was walking in. Tommy turned as Trent walked to greet the person. Tommy was shocked to see his old boss, Anton Mercer.

Conner saw the look on Tommy's face, "Earth to Dr. O, are you in there?" Kimberly gently grabbed Tommy's hand, "Tommy, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost." Tommy gently squeezed Kimberly's hand, and ignored the red ranger's comment… he headed straight towards his former boss. Kira noticed the well-dressed man, "Who's that guy?" It was obvious Dr. O knew the man.

Anton was greeting Trent when Tommy walked up to the father and son. Tommy managed to gain his voice, "Anton Mercer… I can't believe it."

Anton used every ounce of his control to reign in Mesogog, but he managed to be civil to his old friend "Tommy… Tommy Oliver. How have you been?"

The two men shook hands, leaving Trent awfully curious. Trent had no idea of the history between his father and teacher. He turned towards Tommy, "You know my dad?"

Tommy was shocked at that reveal… he never knew Anton had a son, "Your dad? Well, I had no idea… I mean your last name is-"

Anton quickly answered, "Fernandez. Well, it's legally Fernandez-Mercer now. It's a long, complicated story, Tommy. More importantly, how are you?"

Hayley recognized Anton, and realized that she needed to get Trent away so Tommy could talk to his former boss in private, "Trent, can you help out with table 3? There's been a bit of a mochaccino incident."

Trent just looked at his father and teacher before having to get back to work, "Yeah… I'll be right there. See ya."

Tommy was still in disbelief that Anton was alive and well, "I don't understand… I thought you were dead. I mean, the island was destroyed."

Anton replied, "Well, I was lucky, Tommy… from the looks of it, we both were."

Tommy decided to ask, "Why didn't you call or send a message?" He had spent the past year thinking the worst.

The past year had been difficult for Anton… he still had trouble controlling Mesogog. It was only recently where Anton finally had enough control to co-exist with the evil mastermind. After adopting Trent and regaining his companies and fortune, Anton had returned to Reefside hoping to have some peace… but Mesogog continued to spoil Anton's plans for a peaceful life. He simply answered, "Yeah, well, you know what it's like… starting over, trying to get your bearings."

Tommy nodded, "Yeah, I know." He leaned over so only Anton could overhear him, "Anton, the experiments we were working on… some crazy things have been happening. We need to figure some things out."

Anton simply replied, "Yeah, I suppose you're right." He then looked at his watch… he didn't have much free time and had only came to the café to check in on his son, "Look, I'll clear some time next week if it's all right with you."

Tommy was bewildered at Anton's attitude… Anton had never acted like this with him, "But-" Anton simply ended the conversation by patting Tommy's shoulders, "It was good seeing you again Tommy… Truly, it is."

Anton then walked away, leaving Tommy alone and very confused. Tommy hadn't expected Anton to act so cold with him… they had been friends, and he had hoped he could get Anton's help.

Kimberly walked up to Tommy, "Tommy, who was that man? You looked so shocked to see him." Tommy shook his head, "That was Anton Mercer… my former boss. I thought he was dead… but apparently, he survived the attack on our research center. Something's up with him… it was like he wanted nothing to do with me. We were friends… and I hoped that he could help us find our missing experiments before Mesogog did."

Kimberly squeezed his hand, "I'm sorry your friend is being so distant with you. Tommy, I would give Anton some time and space… it's obvious the man has been through a lot."

Tommy sighed and nodded in agreement, "You're probably right."

Later that afternoon, at the Mercer Mansion, Trent was studying in Anton's office hoping to talk to talk to his father.

Anton asked his son, "Is there something wrong with your room? Not that I mind the company."

Trent replied, "I wanted to talk to you." Anton briskly answered, "About?" He had a strong suspicion what his son was going to ask him.

Trent quirked an eyebrow at his father, "You really have to ask?"

Anton signed his paperwork and simply replied, "Look, Dr. Oliver is from a part of my past that I've chosen to put aside- a part that's quite painful for me."

Trent sighed, "Dad, the guy's my teacher. Am I just supposed to forget-" Anton sternly interrupted, "I have forgotten about it, and I expect the same of you." Trent sighed… realizing there was no convincing his father. Trent was torn… he honestly liked and respected Dr. Oliver and wondered why his father was so hell-bent on ignoring the man.

At Reefside Mall, the mall was crowded with fans waiting for Kylee Styles' arrival for her CD signing. Kylee and her entourage arrived on the escalators with her music playing over the mall speakers. Kylee had a huge, fake smile plastered on her face as she greeted her fans, "Thank you so much for coming out!" She relished in the applause, "This is incredible! You guys are just the best!" as she made her way to her table.

The spoiled pop princess sat down, and while she still had a smile plastered, she hissed at her handlers, "How many of these leeches are there? My hand's going to fall off."

Kira and Conner had made it to the front of the line… Conner whispered to Kira, "Well, go ahead… ask her."

Kylee turned her head and smiled at the red and yellow ranger… she did not even recognize her old friend, "Who do you want it made out to?"

Kira quipped, "Just write to my old friend Kira Ford." Kylee raised her eyes to really look at her old friend, "Kira?! Wow! I haven't seen you for ages!" She quickly got up and gave Kira an obviously put-on Euro Air Kiss, "I didn't know you were a fan of mine… I'm flattered."

Kira motioned towards Conner, "Actually it's my friend who's a fan." Conner smiled as he shook Kylee's hand, "It's Conner- with an er."

Kylee smiled at the red ranger, "Did Kira tell you that she and I used to sing together?" Conner nodded, "Yeah, I just didn't believe her at first."

Kylee replied, "Oh, it wasn't anything professional" She flipped her hair, "Just some silly teen angst stuff."

Kira was kind of hurt of how dismissive Kylee was about their music, "I thought we had some pretty good songs."

Kylee nodded, "Oh, yeah… sure. At the time, they were great. But, hey, at some point you got to grow up."

Suddenly Cassidy's voice echoed as she pushed through the crowd, "Okay! Hello! Coming through… I have a Press Pass! Move it!"

Kylee quickly primped when she heard that… she wasn't about to turn down publicity for her album. Cassidy smiled at the pop diva, "Cassidy Cornell… Reefside reporter. Anyways, I'm here to do a story on how you went from struggling nobody to pop superstar."

Kylee plastered on a smile, "Aren't you kind? Well, you know it all started- oh, hold on." She turned towards Kira, "Kira, I'm so sorry… duty calls. Can we catch up later?" She clicked her hands and smiled, "You're awesome!"

Kira was quickly pushed aside by the crowd, leaving the yellow ranger disappointed by her former best friend's diva attitude.

Meanwhile, Mesogog had a devious plan up his sleeve to cause trouble for the rangers. He stalked towards Elsa who was busy working, "Elsa… I have a project in mind."

Elsa grinned, "I'm sure it's utterly gruesome." Mesogog quipped, "Only if you think sucking the life out of a miserable human being is gruesome."

Elsa smiled in satisfaction and loved the idea, and Mesogog quickly grabbed a container to create his new monster.

After the CD signing, Kylee left the mall with her entourage to the applause of her fans. Kira turned to Conner, "Well, you got to meet the famous superstar."

Conner apologized, "Look, if you're mad cause I didn't believe you knew Kylee… I'm sorry. But come on. She's so… and you're so…"

Conner had been trying to point out that Kira and Kylee were so different, but quickly realized he put his foot in his mouth. Kira gave him an incredulous look, "What? I'm what?" She let out a scoff, "You know what… forget it. Maybe you're right… maybe I don't know Kylee after all."

Suddenly the two rangers heard a loud, girlish scream coming from the parking garage where Kylee had been heading to. Conner moved his head toward the sound, and Kira quickly said, "Come on!" They quickly ran up the escalators, as Kylee continued to scream.

Conner and Kira arrived on the scene as Kylee screamed, "Get away from me, you freaks!" The pop diva and her entourage were surrounded by Mesogog's new monstor, Donkeyvac, and a gang of Tyrannodrones.

Kylee shouted, "Don't you know who I am?" Donkeyvac taunted, "Of course I do… I'm a big fan." Kylee cowered in fear as the monster got closer to her.

Conner shouted to Kira, "Come on!" and the two rangers quickly sprang into action. Conner quickly spun and kicked at the Tyrannodrones. Kira spun and kicked as well… one of the creatures caused her to backflip but she quickly spun and knocked a Tyannodrone into a nearby pillar. She threw one off her back and rushed toward her screaming former friend.

Kira quickly leaped in front of Kylee to protect her. Kylee screamed, "Kira! What are you doing!" Kira quickly quipped, "Ask later… run now!" The pop diva let out another squeal and ran behind her limo for cover.

While Kira was distracted by the Tyrannodrones, Donkeyvac activated his vaccums and fired blue energy from his hands directly at the pop diva. Kylee screamed as the monster drained her youth from her.

Once he was finished getting Kylee's youth, Donkeyvac quickly opened a portal and ran away from the scene.

Kylee knew something was wrong and grabbed her mirror. She was horrified by her appearance, "My face! Oh, my beautiful face!" Kylee was no longer young and beautiful… and it was a rude awakening for the spoiled pop singer.

Donkeyvac continued his attack in Reefside and stole the youth from several innocent people. He taunted, "Hope you like wrinkles." He even attacked a young couple, "Oh, how nice… you'll be growing old together."

On the Dino Lab's monitors, Donkeyvac was seen sucking the youth out of a person who happened to be napping on a park bench, "Here's your wakeup call!" Ethan couldn't believe it, "A Donkey that can extract the youth out of people… that is wrong in so many ways."

Tommy replied, "Mesogog's probably found a way to harness youth into energy. We have to figure out a way to fight it. Where's Kira?"

Conner answered, "She's taking Kylee to the Cyberspace. I think she's having a meltdown over seeing herself all old and shriveled up. I got to admit… it was kind of brutal."

Tommy quipped, "We'll talk about respect for your elders later… right now we have something we need to take care of."

The boys turned as Tommy hollered, "Let's do it!" They quickly accessed their morphers, and with a "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" the guys quickly morphed into their ranger suits.

The rangers arrived on the scene, without their yellow ranger. The guys quickly began to fight Donkeyvac, who quickly proved to be a challenge. The monster knocked Ethan backwards, and even managed to flip Conner onto his back. Donkeyvac teased, "Suckers!" and the guys realized they needed Kira's help.

At the Cyberspace, Kira was trying to comfort the distraught Kylee. Kylee was sobbing, "My career is over. This is the worst thing to happen to anyone ever!"

Kira gently replied, "Oh, come on Kylee… I'm sure someone will find a way to reverse this." Kylee cried, "But I was supposed to go on You Request It tonight."

Kira tried to be reassuring, "Just because you look a little older doesn't mean you still can't sing."

Kylee scoffed, "Right… go on national TV looking like this. I must look at least 40!"

Kira groaned at how vain her friend was being… suddenly her bracelet beeped telling her the rangers needed her. She felt awful, but knew she needed to head out, "I got to go."

Kylee shook her head and cried, "No!" and grabbed at Kira's hand… she didn't want to be left alone. Kira gently said, "Look, Hayley and Coach Hart will look after you. You'll be fine."

Kylee begged the yellow ranger, "But I want you to stay. You're my friend… you can't leave me like this."

Donkeyvac was continuing to give the guys a run for their money. The monster landed a kick to Ethan's stomach, knocking the blue ranger to the ground. Then Donkeyvac knocked Conner to the ground, who landed next Ethan.

Ethan exclaimed, "We need Kira!" Conner hollered, "I called her… she's not answering!"

Amid the fight, Cassidy and Devon ran up to the scene eager to get their scoop. Cassidy hollered, "Start rolling! This is front page material. Hurry!" Devon quickly grabbed his camera, and the two friends ran trying to get an interview.

Cassidy hollered at the monster as he continued to fight the rangers, "Cassidy Cornell, Reefside Reporter. Exactly when did you know you were evil? Did you feel unloved as a little whatever it is you are"

Donkeyvac allowed his vanity to get the best of him, and stopped fighting, "Wow, Cassidy, being evil has always come very natural to me." He quickly realized he was getting distracted, "Hey! What am I doing? Give me your youth!"

The monster quickly drained Cassidy and Devon of their youth. Cassidy groaned at her appearance, "Oh, great. It's hard enough being a woman in this profession… now I have to fight ageism too!" Cassidy stomped away from the scene, while Devon just groaned as he followed Cassidy.

Conner was struggling with Donkeyvac… Tommy noticed the red ranger needed help and began to rush forward to assist, "Hold on Conner!"

Tommy was quickly blocked by the arrival of Zeltrax, "Not so fast!" Tommy groaned at seeing the cyborg, "Zeltrax!"

Zeltrax growled at the black ranger, "We still have score to settle Black Ranger… or have you forgotten?"

Tommy shook his head… he had no clue why the cyborg hated him so much, "I told you I have no idea what you're talking about."

Zeltrax fired a beam from his sword at Tommy, causing Tommy to fly backwards in pain.

Conner and Ethan had finally pulled out their sabers, but the monster was still giving them problems. Donkeyvac taunted, "Catch me if you can!" and began to run away. Ethan chased after the monster, with Conner on their heels, "Right behind ya!"

Devon groaned to Cassidy as they made their way to a part of town where older people frequented, "What are we doing here? My hip is killing me." Cassidy replied, "We're exercising our rights as mature members of the community."

The two bumbling friends made their way to a hot dog cart. Cassidy told the vendor, "Two hot dogs, please. And don't forget the senior citizen discount, sonny."

The vendor just nodded at the two, while Devon smiled, "Just a wee bit of extra ketchup on mine." The two friends figured if they were now old, they might as well take advantage of the situation.

Back at the Cyberspace, Kylee continued to cry in self-pity, "What am I going to do? I can't face my public looking like this."

Kira replied, "Calm down Kylee. You're not the only one in trouble, you know. This thing is attacking people all over the city."

Kylee just gave Kira a look, "Really? Well, that is not my problem…. I'm Kylee Styles."

Kira was now fed up with how selfish Kylee was being. She then pulled out one of their old recordings from her bag and handed it to Kylee, "This is the Kylee I used to know. She was someone who cared about other people… not just herself." Kira's bracelet beeped again, and this time Kira knew she had to leave, "I got to go."

As Kira headed out the door, Kimberly gently reassured the yellow ranger, "Don't worry about Kylee… Hayley and I will continue to take care of her until you can get back. Go help the guys… they need you."

Now that she was alone, Kylee had a lot to think about. She decided to give the tape a listen… had she changed so much like Kira had said? She waved her arm in the air to get Hayley's attention, "Can you play this for me?"

Hayley was also getting fed up with the pop diva's antics, but grabbed the tape, "Sure" and put it into her speaker system. The tape began to play a sweet, harmonizing ballad that Kylee remembered. Hayley listened to the song, "Now this I like."

Kimberly sat down next to Kylee, "You and Kira sound great. It's a shame that you two no longer sing together. You know you should be more grateful to have a friend like Kira… she didn't have to stay with you after your attack. But I know she did because she still cares about your friendship."

Hearing her and Kira's voices on the tape, Kylee remembered the good times she had with Kira and began to realize how much she had changed since becoming famous.

Meanwhile, Tommy and Zeltrax continued their fight. The two got locked in a hold and Zeltrax growled, "You will pay!" Tommy shot back, "For what?!" While Tommy didn't like Zeltrax, he couldn't understand what he had done to make the cyborg hate him so much.

The two got out of the hold and resumed their battle. While they landed several blows on each other, the rivals were evenly matched. Finally, Tommy got the upper hand, and knocked Zeltrax to the ground. Tommy raised his staff, "Give it up, Zeltrax!"

Conner and Ethan had caught up to Donkeyvac in a nearby tennis field. Conner hollered, "All right… we got you cornered!"

Donkeyvac taunted, "That's what you think!" He then shot out his explosives through his nose at the rangers. The explosives knocked the red and blue ranger onto the ground, causing them to groan in pain.

Donkeyvac reared up for another attack, "It's over Rangers!" He laughed as the guys began to get up.

Conner quipped, "This guy is brutal." Ethan nodded in agreement, "You said it!"

Suddenly the Ptera Scream filled the air… the guys quickly shielded their ears, while the Ptera Scream knocked the monster backwards. The monster groaned in shock, "What the?!"

The boys turned to see that Kira had finally arrived on the scene. Conner shook his head trying to get his bearings, "My ears!" Ethan shook his head as well, as Kira apologized, "Sorry, guys. I should have given you the heads up on the Ptera Scream." Ethan quipped at the yellow ranger, "You think?"

Donkeyvac got up and looked at the unmorphed yellow ranger. The monster got excited about claiming another young victim, "Excellent, more youth for me."

Kira gave the monster a look, "I don't think so" and quickly accessed her morpher. With a "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" Kira quickly morphed into her ranger suit.

The monster was not expecting that as Kira hollered, "Ptera Power… Yellow Ranger!"

Kira quickly led the charge as she pulled out her saber, "Thundermax Sabers!" The three rangers quickly used their sabers to attack, but Donkeyvac managed to push away all three rangers.

Kira groaned as she landed next to a tennis racket and a basket of tennis balls. She quickly grabbed the racket and the tennis balls into her hands and yelled, "Think you're up for a singles match?"

Donkeyvac taunted, "You're no match for me!" Kira smirked, "We'll see about that!"

The yellow ranger leaped into the air and launched the tennis balls straight at Donkeyvac's nose, just as he was firing his explosives.

The monster groaned as Kira had landed a direct hit, "Oh, my nose!" Amid the explosions, Kira landed a solid kick as the monster flew backwards to the ground in pain.

Kira hollered, "Put them together, guys!" The rangers quickly combined their weapons, "Ready!" "Go for it!"

The rangers got a lock on Donkeyvac, "Z-Rex Blaster! Fire!" The blaster quickly destroyed the monster to pieces. The rangers cheered, "All right!" "We did it!" "Yeah!"

Mesogog growled as he had seen the whole battle over his monitors. He hissed at Elsa, "Activate the Hydro Regenerator." Elsa nodded as she moved the lever, "At once, my lord."

The Hydro Regenerator's dark rain cloud appeared and rained over Donkeyvac's remains. The pieces quickly pulled back together, and Donkeyvac grew and towered over the rangers.

The rangers groaned and Kira quickly spoke into her morpher, "Whoa! Dr. Oliver, this might be a good time for some heavy metal."

Tommy heard Kira's message loud and clear, "You got it! Brachio Zord… now!"

Brachio Zord quickly arrived on the scene and opened to release the other Dino Zords. The Dino Zords growled as they rushed to their masters, and the rangers quickly formed the Megazord.

Donkeyvac taunted, "Pomegranates away!" and launched the explosives at the Megazord. The explosives struck the Megazord causing sparks to fly in the cockpit.

Donkeyvac hollered, "Super Suction!" and used his vaccums to drag the Megazord towards him. The rangers couldn't escape the hold. The monster teased as he sent several shockwaves, "Now I've got you!"

Conner had enough, and spoke to Tyranno through his morpher, "Let's sink our teeth into this fight." Tyranno's eyes glowed and sunk his fangs into Donkeyvac's nose. Donkeyvac groaned in pain and released his hold, "Ow! Not the nose!"

Tommy leaped at Zeltrax, knocking the cyborg to the ground. Zeltrax groaned in pain, and Tommy quipped, "Whatever your problem is, I don't have time for it right now."

Zeltrax clutched his chest, but vowed, "This isn't over!" and quickly opened a portal to retreat from the scene. Tommy was glad the cyborg retreated, but he vowed to find out why Zeltrax was so hell-bent on destroying him.

Kira quickly ordered, "Pterarang!" and the Megazord launched the Pterarang straight at the monster. The Pterarang landed a direct hit, and the rangers decided to use their finishing touch. "Dino Drill… Engage!" The Megazord reared up into the air, and the Dino Drill landed a direct hit on Donkeyvac's stomach. The monster quickly exploded from the impact.

Once Donkeyvac was destroyed, all the youth energy he had stolen returned to their rightful owners. The Megazord stood proudly in victory, and the rangers were relieved to have won another battle.

In the Cyberspace, Kylee's youth had also been restored. The pop diva felt the difference, and immediately felt at her face. She quickly grabbed at a napkin holder to look at her reflection.

Kylee happily exclaimed as she saw her restored appearance, "I'm young! Oh! I'm beautiful! I'm me again!"

Kylee quickly primped… she was so excited that she was back to normal. Kimberly and Hayley both rolled their eyes at Kylee's antics… Hayley groaned, "How great for all of us." It seemed like Kylee did not learn her lesson and was still the same selfish, shallow pop diva.

Cassidy and Devon were still taking advantage of the senior citizen discount and were now at an early show at the movie theater. Cassidy barked at the ticket seller, "Two tickets please, and as you can see, we're seniors so don't try to rip us off by jacking up the price."

The ticket seller was about to put in the discount but looked up just as the spell ended on Cassidy and Devon. He was now looking at two young teenagers, "Very funny… that will be $20."

Devon looked down and realized that he and Cassidy were back to normal. He quickly tried to tell Cassidy, but Cassidy snapped, "Not now, Devon!" Devon tried to get a word in, "But, seriously"

Cassidy was angry, "Hello! He acts like he's never heard of the Great Depression. Well, I for one, am getting super depressed wondering why a sweet, little old lady is being forced to pay full pop for a lousy movie ticket!"

The ticket seller crossed his arms, as the other senior citizens began to grumble at the teenagers' antics. Cassidy finally realized her mistake… she and Devon were then chased out of the theatre. Devon hollered, "Let's go!" As they ran Cassidy hollered at the old people, "Stop it, I'm warning you! I'm calling the AARP!" Cassidy and Devon learned a lesson that they needed to respect their elders.

After the battle, Kira was getting ready for her next show at the Cyberspace. Hayley was showing Kira the framed copy of the beautiful drawing that Trent had been working on. Kira loved it, and realized, "Hey, that's me! Where did you get that?"

Hayley smiled, and looked in Trent's direction, "Where do you think?" Hayley went to hang up the artwork on the wall, and Kira headed to talk to Trent.

Kira motioned to Hayley and the drawing, "That's what you were drawing?" Trent sheepishly replied, "Yeah… I wouldn't have let Hayley put it up, but you know how insistent she can be."

Kira was flattered, "No… it's great. But how come you drew me as a superhero?" She felt it had to be a huge coincidence… only the other rangers, Hayley, and Coach H knew the truth about her being a Power Ranger.

Trent spoke from his heart as he gave his reasons on why he had drawn Kira that way… he cared about Kira, but was still shy to admit his true feelings, "Cause you're brave… getting on stage, playing stuff from your heart, not conforming to some image." He gave a small grin as he admitted, "Besides superheroes are all I know how to draw."

Kira just smiled… she was starting to fall hard for Trent, and appreciated his kind words "Well, thanks… that's really sweet."

As Kira headed to the stage, Kimberly saw the interaction between Kira and Trent. She had a knowing smile on her face… she could see that Trent and Kira were falling for each other. Watching the two together, they reminded her of when she and Tommy were young and in love. Kimberly sighed at that… her relationship with Tommy was still complicated. While she was happy that they were friends again, her heart wanted more.

Tommy walked up to Kimberly, "Hey… is everything okay. You look like you're deep in thought." Kimberly managed a small smile, "Oh, I'm okay… just was thinking about the good old days. Watching Kira and Trent reminded me a lot of our high school days."

Tommy chuckled, "I kind of miss those days… our high school days were definitely an interesting experience. But I wouldn't change them for the world."

Kimberly honestly answered, "There's a few things I wish I could change about the past." I wish I could go back and stop myself from writing that stupid letter. I was so in love with you, but I let the distance and my insecurities ruin our relationship. I hate that I broke your heart… and it hurts because I think I'm still in love with you.

Tommy nodded in agreement and just held Kimberly's hand. I know how you feel, Beautiful. I wish I could change things as well. I can tell she regrets what happened between us… but it's going to take time to fix things. I want to do things right… I want us to have a real and lasting relationship. I just hope with me being a ranger again doesn't screw things up.

Kira started her show by saying, "I wrote this song with a friend of mine a long time ago… I hope you like it."

Tommy and Kimberly smiled at the yellow ranger in support. Conner and Ethan were there as well, so the group headed to the front of the stage so Kira could see them.

Kira began to strum the first chords of True Love, the ballad she had written with Kylee when they were still friends.

"Best friends, they come and go depending on your highs and your lows. My best friend decided not to be there when I needed her the most. I thought you'd be there for me… then why did you lie to me, using me to get what you want. Then I couldn't believe it happened… no, I couldn't understand."

To everyone's surprise, Kylee joined Kira on stage and began to sing with her, "True Love walked out the door… couldn't take it no more. True love, it broke my heart… you made my whole life sore. He'd said he'd be my baby… then why did he betray me? Temptation got to his head. Then I left him, yeah. And this is what I said. It feels like it's going to be okay (It's going to be okay). It feels right… it just feels that way (It just feels that way). It feels like it'll be a better day… Cause I believe that in the end, good things are coming my way."

Everyone cheered as Kira and Kylee hugged. It seemed Kylee finally realized the importance of being a true friend. Kira was happy to have her old friend back… while she realized it was going to be difficult to have a music career, she finally felt her music was appreciated. She vowed to stay true to herself and hoped one day she would be able to make it in the music business on her own terms. She was proud to be a Power Ranger, and proud of herself as a musician. The Yellow Ranger had a bright future ahead and felt lucky that she had a wonderful group of friends who supported her.
