Hello again everyone! This time our next set of Super Smash Bros. newcomers will be from the Kirby series. These include Bandana Waddle Dee, Adeleine/Ribbon and Magalor!
It's fitting considering that Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe came out in February this year (2023) not to mention a Kibry Story Time that came out some time ago stared Adeleine.
Let's see what Kirby's buddies can do here in Smash.
Bandana Waddle Dee
Origin: Kirby
Description: A high ranking member in King Dedede's group of Waddle Dees, this particular Waddle Dee stands out thanks to his signature bandana and his skills with a spear in comparison to his fellow Waddle Dees who fight bare handed or with a parasol. While he remains loyal and faithful to King Dedede, Bandana Dee would become a good friend of Kirby and join him on numerous adventures with him!

Special Attacks
Neutral Special: Waddle Spear Throw - Banana Dee will throw his spear at the opponent. Holding down the botton and tilting up or down will make Bandana Dee aim where he will throw his spear.
Side Special: Spear Thrust - Bandana Dee thrusts his spear forward at his opponent. Pressing the Special Button after a successful hit will follow up into 'Multispear Attack', a reapid hitting attack and pressing after a successful hit with the second special will lead into 'SpinCleave', which has Bandana Dee twirl the spear above his head before slamming it into the ground, sending a wave of energy from both sides.
Up Special: Waddle Copter - Bandana Dee twirls the spear above his head and flys up a short distance before hovering like a helicopter. Anyone who touche the spinning spear will take damage. The hover ends after six seconds have passed. Also functions as a vertical recovery move to get back on the stage.
Down Special: Spear Vault/Moon Drop - If Bandana Dee uses his Down Special on the ground, he will use his spear to pole vault on the ground to get to higher places. If he's in the air, he will instead perform a downward spear twirl instead. You can combine the Spear Vault and follow up with Moon Drop as well.
Final Smash: Waddle Spear Barrage - Bandana Dee will jump high above the stage and throw a hailstorm of elemental charged spears that can freeze with ice, shock with electricity, splash with water or burn with fire. After six seconds, he will throw seven exploding spears to deal heavy damage with the chance of heavy damage and knockback.
Standard Attacks
Jab: Pokes his spear forward and follows up with a five hiting jab and poke combo.
Forward Tilt: Swings his spear in a spin motion.
Up Tilt: Thrusts his spear upward.
Down Tilt: Rushes his spear forward along the ground before flicking it upward.
Dash Attack: Thrusts his spear along the ground while sliding forward.
Aerial Attacks
Neutral: Pokes his spear forward.
Forward: Swings his spear in an arching motion.
Back: Thrusts his spear behind him.
Up: Thrusts his spear upward.

Adeleine & Ribbon
Origin: Kirby
Description: Adeleine is young girl who came to Planet Popstar in order to study art. She is so talented with her art that she can bring her paintings to life. After being controlled by the evil 0², Adeleine joined Kirby and Ribbon to save Ripple Star and has remained friends with them since then. Aside from her love of art, Adeleine is also a romantic at heart, even falling in love with a "special someone". The real question is... who?
Ribbon is a resident of Planet Ripple Star, which was the victim of an invasion by 0². With help from Kirby, King Dedede, Waddle Dee and Adeleine, she was able to restore the brokwn Crystal of her planet and save Ripple Star. She has since then remained good friends with everyone and occasionally visits Pop Star. She's best friends with Adeleine and apparently harbors affectionate feelings for Kirby.

Special Attacks
Neutral Special: Brush Slash - Adeleine swipes her brush. Holding it down will throw out a glob of paint as a projectile.
Side Special: Brush Force - Adeleine will charge forward while rapidly swiping her brush to cause multi hitting damage.
Up Special: Fairy Dance - Adeleine will leap up and twirl around with Ribbon in the air, damaging nearby opponents. Also functions as a vertical recovery move to get back on the stage.
Down Special: Painter - Adeleine brings out her canvas and creates paintings of various past enemies. She can paint Batamon, Ghost Knight, I³, and a small version of Octagon in that order before it repeats. She can only summon one at a time for 10 seconds before she can paint a new enemy.
1. Batamon walks around, dealing contact damage.
2. Ghost Knight will run around and thrusts its lance forward.
3. I³ will float in a small area and crush anything below it.
4. Octagon enlarges itself around where it's standing to damage enemies.
Final Smash: Ado's Painter and Ribbon's Crystal - Adeleine will pull out a canvas and paints a Waiu, Ice Dragon, and Kracko who all attack everyone while Adeleine remains invincible. Meanwhile, the player takes control of Ribbon as she flies around shooting everyone with her Crytal. While Ribbon can knock the opponent out by keeping presure on, the boss creatures handle most of the work by dealing heavy damage and knockback. This Final Smash lasts for 15 seconds.
Standard Attacks
Jab: Adeleine pokes the opponent with her brush before doing a six hit tag team combo with Ribbon.
Forward Tilt: Adeleine does an overhead swing with her Brush.
Up Tilt: Ribbon does an upward tackle.
Down Tilt: Adeleine swings her brush at the opponents feet.
Dash Attack: Adeleine spins around while holding Ribbon's hands.
Aerial Attacks
Neutral: Adeleine does a spin attack with her brush.
Forward: Adeleine does an overhead swing with her brush.
Back: Ribbon tackles the opponent behind Adeleine.
Up: Ribbon does an upward tackle.
Down: Adeleine does a downward kick with both feet.

Up Taunt: Adeleine paints a flower with Ribbon happily watching.

Down Taunt: Adeleine and Ribbon silently chat with each other before finishing off with a spin from Ribbon and a chuckle from Adeleine.
Colors
Appearance: Adeleine wears a collared green smock, a gray skirt, and a red beret while Ribbon wears a large red ribbon in her hair along with a long-sleeved red dress that has two golden buttons, a frilly white collar and white cuffs.

Victory Poses

Victory Pose 1: Adeleine paints two stars on her canvas which pop out with her and Ribbon catching them before they show them off with big smiles.
Victory Pose 2: Ribbon flies around Adeleine as the artist watches her for a moment. Once Ribbon is nearby, the two girls perfrom a curtsy.
Victory Pose 3: Adeleine and Ribbon sit down on a picnic blanket with Adeleine eating a sandwich and Ribbon eating a piece of strawberry short cake.
Magalor
Origin: Kirby
Description: An intergalactic traveler who crash landed on Planet Popstar, he deceived Kirby, Bandana Dee, King Dedede and Meta Knight into repairing his ship so he can steal the Master Crown and conquer the universe until the four heroes defeated the corrupted traveler. After being trapped in and escaping from the Dimensional Rift, Magalor has since seen the error of his ways and reformed to the point he becomes a genuine friend to Kirby while maintaining a sense of rivalry with him.

Intro Animation: Magalor warps onto the stage through Dimensional Vanish. He than winks and waves hi before facing his opponents.

Special Attacks
Neutral Special: Magic Sphere/Revolution Orbs/Revelation Flames - Tapping the Special button will have Magalor fire an electric sphere at the opponent. Holding the button down until Magalor turns red and releasing it will have Magalor fire two spiraling spheres at once. Holding the button down until Magalor turns blue will have him store the charge and tapping the button again will have him fire three burning spheres at once.
Side Special: Magolor Surge/Magalor Surge Stream - Magalor spins forward covered in wind, dealing multi hitting damage. Pressing the special while doing the special will make Magalor attack again, making him travel a little farther and can chage direction during the Stream version. Also functions as a horizontal recovery move to get back on the stage.
Up Special: Dimensional Vanish/Levitation - Magalor vanishes into another plane of existence before he reappears at a higher level. He will then levitate toward the ground. It is best to use this after using all of Magalor's jumps as he can't jump while levitating. He will be helping if he gets hit while levitating. This is Magalor's primary vertical recovery move.
Down Special: Magic Bomb - Magalor throws a bomb a made out of magic. It explodes if it either touches an opponent or after ten seconds pass after it lands. Magalor can't place another bomb down until the current one explodes.
Final Smash: Magalor Black Hole Cannon - Similar to Palutena's Final Smash, Black Hole Laser, Magalor will create a Black Hole to capture and trap one to multiple foes. Once they are caught, Magalor will then fire his Magalor Cannon, with the beam dealing more damage if more then 3 fighters get caught in the Black Hole. The cannon can also hit fighters not caught in the Black Hole as well.
Standard Attacks
Jab: Does a punch before doing a five hit punch combo.
Forward Tilt: Pushes his opponent.
Up Tilt: Claps upward.
Down Tilt: Spins around with his arms outstretched downward.
Dash Attack: "Lunges" at the opponent with a headbutt.
Aerial Attacks
Neutral: Throws a punch.
Forward: Throws both fists forward.
Back: Spins around with closed fists.
Up: Claps upward.
Down: Does a body slam like move.
Smash Attacks
Forward Smash: Blows up the opponent with a Mighty Magic Bomb.
Up Smash: Shoots a spiraling flame upward with Upward Revolution Flame.
Down Smash: Strikes with four needles, two at each side, with Double Deadly Needles.
Grab and Throws
Pummel: Slaps the opponent repeatedly.
Forward Throw: Shoot off the opponent with a Magic Sphere.
Back Throw: Uses Dimensional Vanish and as soon a Magalor and the opponent reappears, the opponent is thrown behind him.
Up Throw: Tosses the opponent above his head shoots four Magic Spheres into them.
Down Throw: Jumps above the opponent and drops three Gem Apple Bombs onto them.
Taunts
Up Taunt: Spins around and does a ta-da pose.
Side Taunt: Cheerily claps his hands while he closes his eyes and then nods his head a couple times.
Down Taunt: Closes his eyes and moves his hands in a spiraling motion in front of himself, as if to hypnotize whoever is facing him.
Colors
Appearance: Magalor is clad in a regal blue suit, complete with a white cape with gold trimmings and a dash of purple, gold-trimmed cog designs, and wears a white scarf with a blue belt interwoven.

Victory Pose 2: Stands in front of Magalor's Shope as he presents a Gem Apple with a wink.
Victory Pose 3: Starts jamming on a guitar before performing a guitar solo and bowing afterward.
Trailer
Kirby is running through the Mushroom Kingdom dodging the hazards and defeating Bowser's evil forces with help from Meta Knight, King Dedede, Mario, Luigi, Link, Sheik, Chrom, Robin (Female), Ryu and Ken. As soon as Bowser Jr., the seven Koopalings and Piranha Plant approaches, Kirby tries to use Friend Hearts on all nine of them, but to no effect much to the shock of the pink puffball. However, before Larry, Roy and Lemmy could attack Kirby, they are all struck and sent flying by a spear, a glob of paint and a sphere of magic respectively. The heroes and the remaining villains turn to see four Silhouettes with the small one jumping near Kirby, revealing it to be Bandana Waddle Dee, who offers a helping hand to Kirby.

Then the middle and tiny silhouettes all land near King Dedede with the tiny figure flying around him as the middle figure pulls out a canavs and paints a cannon with the painting coming to life, aimed at Jr. and hos forces. Dedede smiles as the two are revealed to be Adeleine and Ribbon.
ADELEINE & RIBBON SHOW THEIR CREATIVITY!
Lastly, the floating figure floats up and throws a bomb at the Piranha Plant, sending it flying as the figure lands near Meta Knight and the figure is shown to be Magalor, who is shown giggling at the Plant's explosive defeat.
MAGALOR HAS SEEN THE LIGHT!?
With the rest of the heroes joining up with Kirby and his six friends, they all charge at Jr. and his forces as it cuts to gameplay with Bandana Dee using his normals on Wendy before using his specials on Morton and Iggy. Bandana Dee is then shown being launched off by a Piranha Plant before he recovers and hovers down by twirling his spear.
It then cuts to Adeleine as she and Ribbon fight against other duo characters in the form of Rosalina & Luma in addition to the Ice Climbers as they utilize their assortment of normals and special attacks. A montage is shown with Adeleine painting different enemies to attack the other two duo fighters, causing mayhem in the process.
Lastly, Magalor is seen facing off against Wario, Falco, and Mr. Game & Watch as the Interdimension Traveler performs his Down Taunt at them before flying at them with Magalor Surge. He then proceeds to use his normal attacks and use all three versions of his Neutral Special on each of his three opponents. He then wraps it up by defeating Wario with his Side Smash.
It then cuts to a cutscene where Bowser, Ganondorf and Ridley jumping out to assist Bowser Jr. with the heroes preparing to face down with the villains. It cuts to gameplay in on three different stages with Bandana Dee fighting Bowser, Adeleine/Ribbon fighting Ganondorf and Magalor fighting Ridley. The three pairs start fighting with the villains having a slight advantage until the three heroes grab a respective Smash Ball before defeating the three villains with thier strongest attacks.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate X Kirby
The villains are piled up unconscious in a body pile with Bowser waving a white flag to show they surrender. Peach and Daisy rush out to meet with Mario, Luigi, Link, Sheik, Chrom, Robin (Female), Ryu and Ken after being freed. They all smile at Kirby, who along with Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Dee, Adeleine, Ribbon and Magalor all perform a seven Kirby style victory dance before striking a victory pose at the end.
Bandana Waddle Dee, Adeleine & Ribbon and Magalor are then added to the Smash Mural.
Palutena's Guidance (Bandana Waddle Dee)
Pit: "What the? An Orange Kirby?"
Palutena: "Not quite, that is a Waddle Dee, one of King Dedede's minions. Although this particular Waddle Dee stands out with his signature bandana and being able to use a spear instead of a parasol."
"And this particular Waddle Dee is known as Bandana Waddle Dee or Bandana Dee for short."
Pit: "Bandana Waddle Dee? Just looks like a glorified mook."
Viridi: "Glorified? Yeah. A mook? Hardly."
"You see, he WAS just a one off guy, but after his introduction, he became more prominent to the point where he's now best friends with Kirby and evens helps him on many of his adventures. He even went on a four man adventure with Kirby, Meta Knight and King Dedede."
"So he's NOT just a glorified mook!"
Pit: "Okay, okay! I get it! No dissing him! At least he's not another sword fighter..."
Palutena: "Don't underestimate Bandana Dee just because he uses a spear, he's very proficient with it. Even if he throws it, he has a limitless supply he can pull out."
Viridi: "He's SO skilled he can twirl it so fast as a make shift helicopter."
Pit: "What!? I can't even do that with my bow! He's got to show me how to do that!"
Palutena: "Apart from reflecting his spears with your Guardian Orbitars if he throws them, he's extremely light, so just keep the pressure on him and send him flying."
Palutena's Guidance (Adeleine)
Pit: "HEY! LISTEN! HEY! LISTEN! HEY!"
Viridi: "I think you're confusing someone with Navi...?"
Pit: "Sorry! I couldn't help it seeing the fairy with that painter girl."
Palutena: "The fairy is Ribbon while the painter is Adeleine. Like the Ice Climber, Duck Hunt and Rosalina with her Lumas, you'll be fighting Adeleine while she's assisted by Ribbon."
Pit: "What's the story with them?"
Palutena: "Ribbon hails from Planet Ripple Star, which was invaded by Dark Matter. She escaped with he rplanet's crystal until it was shattered! With help from Kirby, she is able to restore the Crystal and save Ripple Star from 0²."
"Along the way, they encounter Adeleine along with a Waddle Dee and King Dedede, who were all possessed by Dark Matter. Once Kirby freed them, they also helped in any way they can."
Viridi: "After the incident, Ribbon remained good friends with Kirby and even visits Pop Star. I even heard Ribbon is secretly in love with Kirby and that he probably feels the same for her."
Pit: "Whoa! Really!? I though he only cared about sleeping and eating!"
Palutena: "As for Adeleine, she is an artist who came to study on Planet Popstar. Her skills with painting are so great, they actually come to life, including fully edible food. Fortunately, there's no lead poisoning either."
Pit: "I hope she can make Floor Ice Cream!"
Viridi: "On the task at hand, I even heard Adeleine has a "special someone" she's in love with. No clue as to who the person in question is..."
Palutena: "Adeleine does most of the fighting while Ribbon helps out. Keep on eye on her when she starts painting an ally. If you can interrupt her before she finishes, you can prevent the summoning."
Pit: "Thanks Lady Palutena, but... who is Adeleine in love with!?"
Viridi: "If we knew, we'd have already told you!"
Palutena's Guidance (Magalor)
Pit: "Oh he looks friendly! I can trust that guy!"
Viridi: "Really? You think Magalor is trustworthy?"
Pit: "What do you mean by that?"
Viridi: "To start with, he's the captain of Lor Starcutter and he was fighting against a four headed dragon anmed Landia to steal the Master Crown to take over the universe."
"Magalor even tricked Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede and Bandana Dee into fixing his ship and incapacitating Landia before using the crown to power himself!"
Pit: "Wait, he's EVIL!?"
Viridi: "Well, he USES to be. After he got trapped in a Dimensional Rift after Kirby Ultra Sworded him, he was weakend and had to destroy the same crown in order to go home."
"He was humbled afterward and he reformed, even going on to be a shopkeeper, a mini game builder and an amusement park owner. He's now genuine friends with Kirby now, even though they're also rivals."
Pit: "Ah, nice to hear Magalor saw the error of his ways. Anyway, how do I fight him?"
Viridi: "Magalor is a spell caster. He can cast a variety of spells, including his Magic Sphere, which he can charge up to three levels."
Palutena: "Remember to use your Guardian Orbitars to reflect his spells if he fires them at you as well."
Pit: "I also noticed he's floating... so it shouldn't be too hard to send him flying."
Palutena: "I even heard for his Final Smash, he uses a Black Hole and Mega Laser like me. Talk about a copycat."
Viridi: "No kidding. It doesn't matter that it's called Magalor Cannon. Then again, Dark Pit copied Sheik's Final Smash..."
Dark Pit: "HEY! My staff is NOTHING like that Light Arrow crap! Got it!"
Pit: "Can we drop the discussion of "duplicate" Final Smashes please? At least you didn't have change your Final Smash each game... like myself... of course..."
With that, all four of Kirby's friends are all set!
