Hello again everyone! Our next newcomer for Super Smash Bros. is White Bomber, the leader of a group of robotic life form super heroes known as The Bomberman Bros.! Also joining is his friendly rival and fellow Bomberman, Max Bomber (as he's now know in Super Bomberman R), who will serve as out first Echo (Clone) Fighter in this "story".

As you know, White Bomberman appears in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an Assist Trophy... an utter waste of his character considering all of the adventures he's been through. So, I included him in his Super Bomberman R incarnation to give him justice!

Now, how will our explosive hero and his competitive rival handle things in Smash? Let's find out!

White Bomber

Origin: Bomberman

Description: The eldest sibling, and leader, of the eight Bomberman Bros, White is the hardworking but downtrodden "big brother" of the group. He's passionate about the pursuit of justice, but unfortunately his siblings don't generally share this fervor, and it usually ends up going to waste. Still, White remains undiscouraged, continuing his battle against the forces of evil.

Trailer

Toon Link, Samus, Wario, Olimar, Simon and Richter in 8-Bit Sprites are currently exploring an 8-Bit Legend of Zelda dungeon of some kind trying to find something. As they get near a cracked wall, Toon Link places a bomb down with him and the others getting clear as it goes off. Once the "Secret Jingle" plays, they jump for joy before going through the hole.

Upon coming out, the characters are now in 3D as they wander into a dark area with only their eyes visible. After looking around, the area lights up revealing they're in a closed off area with walls. They then hear some explosions with one of the blocks in front of them exploding, showing eight silhouettes, with seven of them walking out, revealing themselves to be seven of the eight Bomberman Bros.

Green: "Who are those guys? They're weird."

Aqua: "They must have gotten lost."

Yellow: "Do you think they came to play with us?"

Red: "Hold up! These guys are from Smash!"

Blue: "Ugh... right when I was about to take a nap..."

Pink: "Hold up! White, didn't you get an invite to Smash?"

Black: "I feel sorry for these guys now..."

After that, the last silhouette jumps forward, flashing a Super Smash Bros Invitation and revealing himself to be White Bomber, the eldest sibling and leader of the Bomberman Bros.

White: "If you guys came to Smash... I will be your opponent!"

WHITE BOMBER MAKES AN EXPLOSION ENTRANCE!

White: "Let's do this!"

White than summons a bomb with the other Bomberman Bros. right behind him as it cuts to gameplay. Toon Link and Samus charge toward White as he runs off, dropping some bombs as they run into them, taking damage as White drops another bomb before picking it up like an item and throwing it at Toon Link as he recovers with Samus charging up her Charge Shot.

White: "Good thing I trained for close quarters combat too!"

White then dodges the charge shot as White grabs and throws Samus. It cuts to another stage where White starts using Charge Bombs, Rubber Bombs and three Elemental Bombs through his Smash Attacks against Toon Link, Samus and the recently arrived Olimar before Wario arrives.

White: "Ohhhh... I remember what you tried to do to our home before!"

White and Wario fight each other for a while, with Wario picking up and using Bob-ombs to fight back, until White obtains the Smash Ball.

White: "All right Bomberman Bros.! Let's show them our strength!"

White than throws a Red Bomb at Toon Link, Samus, Olimar and Wario, prompting him and the other Bomberman Bros. to use 'Bomberman Bros. Unite!" to send the four flying, leaving only the Belmonts before them. But before the two can fight, a new shadow overlaps them with the Bomberman Bros. and thr Belmonts looking up to see the new challenger.

White: "You...!"

The challenger reveals himself as none other than Max Bomber, he too holding a Smash Invitation!

MAX BOMBER BLASTS ONTO THE SCENE!

Max: "What are you doing Bomberman?"

Max jumps down as it cuts to gameplay with Max fighting Simon and Richter, performing the same abilities as White did. He dodges the Holy Water they toss as he uses his own bombs to catch them off guard with their longer fuse and stronger power. He even uses a Bomb Punch instead of a Bomb Kick.

Max: "Time to end this!"

Max obtains the Smash Ball and throws a Red Bomb at the two Belmonts, unleashing "Thunder Bomb Barrage", defeating the two Belmonts.

Max "You can't... DEFEAT ME!"

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate X Super Bomberman R

As soon as the Belmonts are sent flying, Max turns to White.

Max: "Ready for some friendly competition, Bomberman Bros.?"

White: "You just never learn, do you Max?"

The trailer ends with the eight Bomberman Bros. charging at Max, who welcomes the challenge.

White Bomber and Max Bomber are then added to the Smash Mural.

Palutena's Guidance (White Bomber)

Pit: "Hey! Is that Bomberman!?"

Palutena: "Indeed it is Pit. White Bomber is the eldest sibling and leader of the Bomberman Bros., heroes and protecters of Planet Bomber and the galaxy surrounding it."

Pit: "The eldest sibling? I thought these guys are robots?"

Viridi: "Yeah, these guys are robotic lifeforms from what I heard. They are robots, but they're part of the same assembly line."

Pit: "Oh, I see. Anything major he and his siblings accomplished?"

Palutena: "From what I gathered, White and his siblings saved the Starry Sky Solar System from the evil Emperor Buggler, along with defeating and freeing the Five Dastardly Bombers under his control from the brainwashing."

Pit: "I'll admit, that's impressive! But all they do is drop bombs, right?"

Palutena: "As the most disciplined silbing, White has learned to fight up close and personal along with utilizing the different types of bombs he can use in the process."

Viridi: "Furthermore, the bombs explode if they hit you or they go off once three seconds pass. They can even cause a chain reaction on bombs that haven't exploded yet, giving him a ton of versatility."

Palutena: "Not Even your Guardian Orbitars will protect you from the explosions, so it's best to dodge or jump out of the way. However, White is susceptible to his own attacks as well."

Pit: "I see, I can just smackor trick him into his own explosions. But what about the rest of the Bomberman Bros.? I don't have to fight them right?"

Viridi: "Only if White gets the Smash Ball. But if he does, you'll understand why they're the savors of the Starry Sky Solar System."

Palutena's Guidance (Max Bomber)

Pit: "What the!? Why is White wearing armor!?"

Viridi: "That's not White Bomber! That guy is Max Bomber!"

Pit: "Max Bomber?"

Palutena: "Max is a cyborg Bomberman of mysterious origin."

Pit: "Well, he's got the mysterious part down. Anything else?"

Viridi: "Not much really. He fightes to protect the galaxy like the Bomberman Bros., but unlike them he fights with ruthless efficiency, making him more dangerous."

Pit: "Fighting without restraint's not a good thing..."

Viridi: "However, he apparently has some kind of rivalry with White somehow. Not sure if it's tied to something in the past or something. Maybe something in the history of Bomberman Games...

Pit: "Okay... anyway, since Max is a Bomberman, I guess he fights like White Bomber?"

Palutena: "Somewhat. He has similar moves to White, however he's much stronger than him but he moves a bit slower as a result."

Palutena: "Even his bombs do more damage at the cost of taking five seconds to explode, but they still go off instantly if they hit you when they're tossed."

Pit: "Got it! And I'll make sure to dodge or jump over the explosions when they go off! At least I won't have to worry about backup on his end?"

Viridi: "Look, just because he doesn't have siblings for his Final Smash, it doesn't mean he can't give you some nasty shock therapy!"

Pit: "Um... what's shock therapy?"

Viridi: "Why do I even bother?"

White and Max are now ready to take on the world!

See you next time!
