Ocean Alert

The rangers were hanging out at the Cyberspace and visiting with Trent. The friends were at the counter, as Ethan was doing some fun research on his laptop.

Ethan found something interesting online, "Hey, check it out. It says here that brain waves are just electrical impulses that, if converted into a binary language, can be downloaded."

Conner rolled his eyes as Trent commented, "I read about that. It means our eyes can become the video cameras of the future."

Conner quipped, "Game Geek TV- I wonder if it'll become part of basic cable." Ethan gave Conner a look… he should have known the soccer star would make a joke. He was only trying to make the conversation interesting.

Cassidy and Devin were sitting nearby and trying to come up with ideas for their news report. Cassidy replied, "Come on Devin. There must be at least something that hasn't been done to death. We need something big and something fresh."

Devin found an article online that he found interesting, "Ooh, I got it. Check this out." He turned the laptop so Cassidy could see and read the article.

Cassidy gave Devin a look as she read, "Woman in Iowa raises a 250-pound pumpkin." She shook her head… that was not what she wanted for her report.

Devin replied, "Well, Cass, you got to admit, it's fresh and it's really big."

Suddenly, two assistants opened the doors and actress/model Nikki Valentina entered the café.

Cassidy gasped as she saw the famous celebrity walking in, "Nikki Valentina!"

Nikki headed towards the counter and began to look around the place. Devin shook his head in disbelief, "Oh, yeah, right Cass. Like the biggest TV star in the world is going to come…" He turned his head and was stunned that Cassidy wasn't lying, "Here." He immediately became star-struck seeing the beautiful TV actress.

Nikki had everyone star-struck with her long black hair and her slinky red dress. Kira noticed the celebrity and quicky got Ethan and Conner's attention, "Hey, isn't that the girl from Ocean Alert?"

Conner had a huge smile as Ethan's jaw dropped, "The most popular television show of all time? Does anyone have a brown paper bag? I'm hyperventilating."

Nikki continued to turn heads among the customers. Even Trent's eyes went wide at the sight of her. Ethan quickly grabbed a paper bag to control his breathing. Once his breathing was settled the blue ranger had a goofy smile on his face as Nikki continued to look around.

Hayley was thrilled to have a celebrity in her café and quickly rushed to Nikki's side to attend to her, "Welcome to Hayley's Cyberspace… what can I get you?"

The actress coolly replied, "I'm just dying for a wheatgrass shake with a twist of lemon."

A small frown appeared on Hayley's face at the request, "Oh, sorry, but we just ran out of wheatgrass. How about a banana berry smoothie?" She hoped the actress would be understanding.

Nikki rudely replied, "Did I ask for a smoothie? I'm fairly certain I asked for a wheatgrass shake."

Hayley tried to reason, "And as I said we-" Nikki interrupted, "All right, I'll give you $100 for it." The spoiled actress was determined to get what she wanted.

Hayley was now beginning to get fed up with Nikki's attitude, "I'm sorry. You can't buy what I don't have."

Nikki gave Hayley a look, "Listen, I don't know if you noticed this, but I'm Nikki Valentina. There is nothing I can't buy."

Hayley now lost all respect for the actress and shook her head. Since she wasn't going to get the drink she desired, Nikki declared, "Never mind… I'm over this place."

Nikki turned to walk away, and was surprised by Cassidy, who was in full reporter mode. Cassidy replied, "Miss Valentina… Casssidy Cornell, Reefside Reporter. I'm a huge fan."

Nikki rolled her eyes, "Of course you are." Cassidy continued, "Someday I'm going to be a big star too. Except I'm going to be a news anchor. But, like maybe, we could work together. I know… I could be in Ocean Alert!"

Nikki scoffed at that idea, "Honey, you better get yourself a new dream. Because being me, well that's mine. And I'm not sharing." She headed to the exit and told her assistants, "Let's go."

An assistant handed Cassidy a pre-signed autographed photo of Nikki as they left. Cassidy bristled at how rude Nikki was, "I could be you… I could totally be you. And I'm going to prove it." She gave the photo a look and scoffed at the inscription, "Heart, Nikki." The blonde quickly tossed the photo away… she was no longer a fan.

Ethan was still drooling after Nikki, "I have to meet her, or my life will never be complete." Conner was infatuated with the spoiled actress as well as he gave Ethan a friendly pat on the shoulders, "I'll introduce you at our wedding."

Kira rolled her eyes at the boys' antics, "Oh, brother." Trent walked up to the group and turned to Kira, "My shift is officially over, ready to go?"

Kira smiled as she got up from her seat… she was looking forward to spending time with Trent. Ethan quirked an eyebrow at the two, "Where are you two headed?"

Kira replied, "Trent's going to show me some sketches he's done for the cover of my demo." Trent nodded… while he had drawn the sketches, it was a perfect excuse to get to know Kira better. The two began to leave, when Trent's phone went off.

Trent groaned as he read the incoming message. Kira gave Trent a knowing look, "Let me guess… your dad?" Trent gave Kira an apologetic look, "Yeah, he needs me at home. I'm really sorry." So much for his plans with Kira… he wasn't the only one that was upset. Kira let out a disappointed sigh as Trent walked away.

In the Dino Lab, Tommy was sitting down at the lab monitors. On the screens, Tommy was searching for another missing Dino Zord egg. He replied to himself, "I know you're out there."

Kimberly laughed to herself as she saw Tommy looking so intently at the screens. Tommy jumped as Kimberly wrapped her arms around him. He smiled when he saw it was Kimberly… now that they'd confessed their feelings, Tommy and Kimberly were happier and continuing to work on their relationship. They weren't officially back together as they didn't want to rush things… they were dating again, and having fun getting to know each other all over again. The couple had no idea it would take a tragedy for them to make a true commitment to each other.

Kimberly gave Tommy a quick kiss and asked, "Hey handsome, what are you up to? I thought you'd be with the rangers."

Tommy replied, "Hey beautiful. I got a reading that there's another Dino Zord egg out there on the monitors. And if my calculations are correct, it should be about ready to hatch. But where is it?"

Kimberly quickly took the seat next to him, "Looks like we got some work to do." Tommy nodded, and the couple began to work together… hoping they could track down the missing egg's location.

Meanwhile, on Mesgog's Island Fortress, the villain entered his lab to check on his generals. Mesogog wanted to know what Zeltrax and Elsa were up to, "Zeltrax, report."

Zeltrax turned as he and Elsa had just finished working on a new monster, "My lord, we have just finished a new genetic creation we call Megalador. We combined the cunning elements of the shark with the toxicity of the Oleander flower."

Elsa smiled as she was pleased with their work, "Then we threw in some extra car parts for fun."

Mesogog was intrigued, "Hmm… well, let's see it."

Elsa nodded as she pulled the lever on the machine, "Geno Randomizer engaged."

The Geno Randomizer went to work, and the door opened revealing Megalador. Zeltrax replied, "It worked."

Mesogog took one look at the new creation and was not impressed, "Fools! What we need are better raw materials." He looked at his monitors to begin his search, "We need to find the perfect specimen."

Mesogog focused on the beach, and saw Nikki rescuing a victim on the set of her show. He was impressed by the actress, "Strong, brave… she's the one."

Elsa rolled her eyes… the actress didn't look special to her. Mesogog now had a plan and cried, "Zeltrax!" Zeltrax replied, "Yes, master?"

Mesogog ordered, "Send your creature to fetch me that woman."

Zeltrax asked, "And what if the Power Rangers interfere, Master?" He knew the rangers would try to stop them.

Mesogog turned on his heel and hissed, "That's what Tyrannodrones are for." He was frustrated with Zeltrax and Elsa's failures, but was determined to get his perfect specimen.

At the beach, Nikki's rescue scene was finished. The director hollered, "Cut!" The actors rose from their spots… it turned out to be a male stunt double wearing a black wig in Nikki's place.

The director cried, "We're done with the double." The stunt double pulled off his wig… Nikki quickly shoved her double out of the way, "Okay, I'll take it from here." She quickly primped for her closeup.

The stunt double was not impressed with Nikki and hollered, "Overrated diva!" as he walked away. He walked past a giant boulder, which hid the Dino egg that Tommy and Kimberly were searching for. It was beginning to glow… indicating that it was getting closer for the zord to hatch.

Tommy and Kimberly were continuing their search on the monitors. Tommy replied, "Almost got it." Suddenly the monitors declared, "Emergency Override!" and began to show the Tyrannodrones attacking citizens in town.

Tommy quickly called the other rangers, "Guys, we have some Tyrannodrones downtown." Kimberly then saw on the screens Megalador landing on the beach, "And we have a little problem on the beach."

Tommy got up, "I know the others are heading downtown… I better head to the beach to check on that situation."

Kimberly nodded, "Go… I'll get Hayley to help me with our search and to keep an eye on things. I'll get the others to join you as soon as they can."

Tommy nodded and gave Kimberly a quick kiss on the cheek and headed on his way. Kimberly pressed her bracelet to call Hayley, "Hayley, is there any way you can come to the lab? I'm going to need your help as the rangers have a situation."

Conner cried, "Come on, guys!" as he and his teammates arrived on the scene downtown. It was chaos with people running away from the Tyrannodrones.

Ethan replied as he saw the scene, "Whoa, this is just like some bad low-budget movie." Kira rolled her eyes as she turned her head towards the blue ranger, "Only this is for real, Ethan."

Ethan realized how silly he sounded, "Oh, yeah… right." The rangers quickly got into their stances and rushed at the creatures.

Ethan caught a Tyrannodrone by the waist, and quickly flipped the creature to the ground. He ducked an attack, but one Tyrannodrone managed to land a lick on Ethan's stomach. It caused Ethan to go backwards, but he didn't lose his footing. Another Tyrannodrone went in for an attack, but Ethan quickly brought his arms up for a block. He activated his Tricera Skin and used his strength to push the creature away from him. The Tyrannodrone ended up crashing into its nearby brothers.

Conner leapt into the fight… he spun his legs around and landed several kicks on the creatures. He quickly brought his arms up to block. Conner was now grateful for all the practice and training Tommy and Kimberly had put them through… while he was a stronger fighter when morphed, he could now hold his own in unmorphed fights.

Kira managed to grab a Tyrannodrone by the arm and kept the creature in a hold while she spun and kicked. She managed a cartwheel and knocked the creature into a nearby pillar.

Ethan continued to spin and kick at the Tyrannodrones nearby him. He activated his Tricera Skin again as he put his arms up for a block. He landed a kick and brought up his arms for a punch. Using his Tricera Powers, he landed one powerful punch causing the creature to fly backwards.

Conner had to continue to block several blows. In one of his blocks, the momentum caused Conner to backflip. He quickly was able to flip back onto his feet and landed a few kicks and punches. He used his super speed to dodge another attack. He spun his legs and landed a powerful kick that knocked the Tyrannodrone into the ground.

Kira spun out of a hold and used her arm and legs to block the attacks. She landed several kicks and blows that drove the creatures backwards. The Tyrannodrones began another assault, but Kira quickly let loose with her Ptera Scream. The Ptera Scream effectively knocked the Tyrannodrones off their feet.

On the beach, the director cried, "Okay, that's lunch, folks. Make it one hour!" The crew began to leave the set, leaving Nikki alone on her balcony.

Nikki was ready for the break and laid out on her beach chair, "Ah, finally. It's just me and my tan." The spoiled actress closed her eyes and began to relax.

Suddenly, Megalador jumped onto the balcony. Megalador was pleased to find Nikki was alone and prepared to grab his prize, "It's time for your closeup, Miss Valentina!" Nikki quickly sat up and screamed in terror when she saw the monster.

Megalador began to grab at Nikki. Nikki batted at the monster's arms, "Ow! Get away from me!" She continued to fight and cried, "Ow! My nails! I just got French tips!"

Megalador replied, "You're about to get a makeover you'll never forget!" as he brought the terrified actress to her feet. "Come with me!"

Tommy arrived on the scene, and quickly landed a kick on the monster. Megalador flew backwards and lost his grip on Nikki. Nikki groaned, and began to look at her nails.

Tommy quipped, "Oh, man, I hate shark monsters." He remembered facing off against a similar monster when he was younger. He turned his head towards Nikki to check on her, "You all right?"

Nikki wasn't even appreciative that Tommy had saved her. She was more upset about her ruined manicure, "Great, where am I going to find someone to fix my nails without an appointment?"

Tommy just gave Nikki a look as she stomped away. He had never seen such a selfish and unappreciative person. Megalador rose to his feet, and Tommy quickly put his attention back onto the monster.

The other rangers managed to regroup. Ethan quipped, "Who released the hounds?!" Conner replied, "I know who's putting them back where they belong!" He quickly brought his arm up, "Ready?"

Ethan and Kira nodded, "Ready!" and all three summoned their morphers. In unison, the rangers cried, "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" and morphed into their suits.

The rangers hollered, "Let's do it!" "Yeah!" as they rushed back into the fight.

Ethan quickly summon`ed his primary weapon, "Tricera Shield!" and began to use his shield to block and strike at the Tyrannodrones.

Kira cartwheeled and spun her way through the creatures. As she rose to her feet she cried, "Ptera Grips!" and quickly began to use her weapons.

Conner began using his Tyranno Staff. He kicked at a Tyrannodrone who had gotten a grip on his weapon. Another Tyrannodrone managed to land a blow that knocked Conner over. Conner rolled onto the ground… he never lost his grip on his staff and managed to land several kicks while he was down. He quickly rose to his feet and landed a powerful kick that caused the Tyrannodrone to release his grip on the staff and fall to the ground.

Kira continued to use her Ptera Grips to block and strike at the creatures. She successfully landed several powerful strikes.

Ethan hollered, "Yeah!" as he backflipped in the air. He landed on his feet and continued to use his shield to block and strike.

Conner quipped, "Think fast!" as he tossed his staff at two Tyrannodrones. The creatures had caught his staff, but the red ranger quickly kicked at them. He proceeded to kick the staff out of the creatures' hands. The staff flew in the air, and Conner quickly caught his weapon, "I'll take that!" Once he had his weapon, he spun and landed several blows on the Tyrannodrones.

Conner quipped, "Come on!" as the Tyrannodrones regrouped. Suddenly a portal opened, and the Tyrannodrones retreated from the scene.

Ethan and Kira rejoined Conner. Kira quipped as she saw the creatures retreat, "That got them!" Ethan nodded in agreement, "Yeah!"

Kira brought her morpher up to contact Tommy, "Dr. O, we're heading to the beach."

Tommy was fighting with Megaldor on the balcony. He landed a kick that drove the monster backwards.

Megalador did not take kindly to that and fired at Tommy. Tommy leapt off the balcony to avoid the blasts and hollered, "Dino Thunder, Power Up!"

Tommy managed to morph in mid-air and landed safely on the ground. He quickly rose to his feet, "That was close." He turned his head in surprise as he heard movement.

The other rangers ran up on the scene. Conner hollered, "Dr. O!" Kira asked, "You okay?"

Nikki had made her way downstairs and was continuing to stare at her nails. The boys quickly got distracted by her.

Conner cried, "Hey, it's Nikki!" Nikki didn't even pay attention to the scene in front of her. Conner began to show off to get her attention, "Check it out, baby! It's all about the red!"

Ethan pushed his way in front of Conner, "Unless you want a kinder, gentler Power Ranger." Kira rolled her eyes as Conner gave Ethan a look, "What?!"

Megalador looked down from the balcony and cried, "I'm not finished with you yet." He pulled out his giant toxic Oleander flower.

Tommy noticed and hollered, "Watch out!" Tommy's warning managed to snap the boys' attention back to the monster, just as Megalador fired his explosive flower.

The boys couldn't dodge the explosion in time… they groaned as they flipped in the air and landed with a vicious thud.

Tommy face-palmed his helmet, "Oh, man!" He couldn't believe the boys allowed themselves to get so distracted.

Megalador leaped from the balcony and snuck up on Nikki from behind, "Come with me, human." Nikki cried out in surprise as Megaldor summoned a portal. The monster quickly leaped through the portal; he disappeared from the scene, taking Nikki with him.

Tommy ran up to the boys, "You guys okay?" Kira patted Ethan's shoulder and wagged her fingers at the boys, "From now on, check your hormones at the door before you morph."

Tommy replied, "Let's get back to the lab." The other rangers nodded, "Okay!" and began to leave the beach. The rangers didn't realize they had just run past the hidden Dino egg.

Trent arrived at home and walked past the office to head to his room. From the corner of his eye, Anton had spotted his son's arrival and replied, "You're late son."

Trent backtracked as Anton continued, "And you know how I value punctuality."

Trent apologized, "Yeah, I know… I just, kind of, had plans." He was still disappointed that his plans with Kira had been ruined.

Anton replied, "I have plans too, Trent. I won't be around forever." While Anton was determined to get rid of Mesogog, he knew things could go wrong. He wanted to be sure Trent was prepared for a potential life without him and would be ready to take over Anton Mercer Industries.

Trent was puzzled by his father's words, "Where are you going?"

Anton bowed his head as he answered, "Nowhere right now. But, if anything unforeseen should happen to me, I need to know that the family business will be in good hands. Can you understand that?"

Trent nodded, "Yeah, Dad, I can." While he wished his father would lighten up and not put so much pressure on him, Trent understood his father just wanted him to be prepared for his future. While he still wanted for forge his own path, Trent was a dutiful son and wanted to be respectful of his father's wishes.

On another part of the beach, Cassidy was trying to prove that she could do a better job than Nikki. Devin was in the water, playing the part of the drowning victim, "Help! Help somebody!"

Cassidy quickly stood up in her tower, "Oh!" and raised her binoculars to get a better view of Devin in the water, as he continued to cry for help.

Cassidy quickly grabbed her rescue float and quipped, "My turn!" She began to run towards the water, "I'll save you!"

Devin cried, "Please help!" as Cassidy ran towards him and tossed her rescue float at him. Cassidy proceeded to get Devin's arm around her shoulders and lead him to shore.

Cassidy made sure they headed straight towards the camera, and plopped Devin on the ground. She cried, "And cut!" as she stopped the camera.

Devin smiled as he asked, "How was that? You know, I really felt the peril. I even got water up my nose."

Cassidy replied, "Yeah, I know. I think we're going to have to do another take. And really try to drown yourself this time, Devin!"

Devin nodded, "All right, got it." He got up and ran back to the water to redo the scene.

Cassidy quipped as she reset the camera, "We'll see who the real star is. And action!" She ran back to water, determined to get the scene perfect. No one could say that Cassidy wasn't a hard worker, and compared to Nikki, at least she did her own stunts.

At the Island Fortress, Nikki was strapped down. She demanded, "Let me go! Do you know who I am?"

Zeltrax chuckled as he spun the actress around so they could get a better look as Nikki continued to cry, "Let me go!"

Elsa crossed her arms as she studied the spoiled actress. She smirked, "She don't look so perfect to me."

Nikki replied, "You're in big trouble!" Elsa taunted as she imitated the actress' voice, "Ooh, I'm not the one strapped to a chair now, am I?"

Nikki glared at Elsa, "I'm a famous celebrity… you can't treat me like this. There are union rules." That caused the villains to laugh. They could care less about Nikki's rules and her demands.

At the Dino Lab, Ethan cried, "This is not good!" He and Conner got a nasty rash on their faces from the Oleander flower explosion.

Tommy quipped, "You guys were lucky you were morphed. It could have been a lot worse." Kimberly nodded, "Tommy's right. You shouldn't have been so distracted. And all over a vain celebrity who didn't even appreciate that you tried to help her."

The boys continued to fret over their appearances as they stared in a nearby mirror.

Conner exclaimed, "I can't believe this. How am I supposed to save Nikki now? Look at my face!"

Ethan groaned, "Mine looks like it should be delivered in 30 minutes or less."

Kira quipped, "You know, most of us could look past the rash and see the person on the inside."

Conner gave a look, "Okay, Nikki Valentina is not like most of us."

Kira rolled her eyes at how idiotic the boys were being, "Two arms, two legs. All seems the same to me."

Ethan quipped, "What arms and legs… not to mention the rest of her."

Tommy replied as he headed to the monitors, "Seems like Mesogog shares your infatuation with her." The boys gave Tommy a look at that comment, "Hey!"

Hayley turned her chair to face Tommy, "He's thrown up a firewall around the invisi-portals. Not even the Raptor Cycles could get in."

Nikki was now alone and still tied down in Mesogog's lab. She continued to holler, "Help! Help!" The rangers were going to have to figure out something to rescue the actress.

Mesogog and Zeltrax entered the lab, so Mesogog could study his prize. Nikki was surprised to find the two staring over her as Zeltrax declared, "Here she is, my lord."

Mesogog was pleased as he waved his hand over Nikki's face, "Ah! I like your energy… your DNA is pure evil." He began to loosen the restraints on Nikki's legs.

Nikki was creeped out by Mesogog's appearance, but managed to find her voice, "Well, I have been looking for some darker roles. But I don't know if I'm right for pure evil."

Mesogog continued to loosen the rest of the restraints. He bent down to Nikki's level, "Trust me… you're ready."

Nikki was terrified as Mesogog ordered, "Zeltrax… take her to the energy transfer chamber. Ready her for the purge." He walked away so Zeltrax could do the job.

Zeltrax extended his hand to help Nikki up, "Resistance is futile." Nikki was pleasantly surprised and took Zeltrax's hand.

The cyborg quickly helped the actress to her feet. Nikki smiled, "Hey, I was up for that part. I still remember the audition. It went something like this."

Nikki was smarter than people gave her credit for… she gave a hard stomp onto Zeltrax's foot with her heel, causing the cyborg to release her and began to run away.

Zeltrax groaned, "Ow! My toes! Stop!" as Nikki ran into a portal and disappeared from the lab.

Nikki gasped in surprise as she landed on the beach. She looked around and was relieved to be out of Mesogog's creepy lab.

Hayley saw the scene on the monitors and turned her chair to face the rangers, "I don't know how, but she's made it out. She's back at the beach."

The boys smiled at that. Ethan exclaimed, "Yeah! Go Nikki! I told you she was smart."

Kira rolled her eyes as she quipped, "Yeah, as a bag of hammers."

On the screens, Nikki began to walk away but screamed when Megalador showed up behind her.

Tommy retorted, "Should've seen that one coming." He rose to his feet, "Hayley, Kimberly… keep tracking that egg."

Hayley and Kimberly nodded, "We will." "Good luck!" The girls quickly went back to work.

Tommy joined the others and exclaimed, "Ready?" The teens nodded, "Ready!" The group summoned their morphers and hollered, "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" and got back into their suits.

The rangers arrived on the beach to find Megalador had a grip on Nikki's arm. Megalador exclaimed, "You again?!"

Conner called out to Nikki, "You're safe now." Nikki gasped in surprise as a portal opened bringing Zeltrax to the scene.

Zeltrax growled as he pointed his sword at the rangers, "Not for long." The rangers got into defensive stances and charged forward.

Nikki was fed up and cried, "This is so not in my contract." She batted the monster's arm away from her and began to run away. Megalador was taken by surprise, "Come back!"

Tommy and Zeltrax went at it, while the other rangers faced off against Megalador.

Megalador kicked at Conner first, and drove him back. Kira charged next, but the monster got a grip on her and flipped her into the air like a rag doll. Kira quickly got back on her feet and landed a kick on the monster's nose.

Megalador took a step back, and Ethan attacked next. But Ethan underestimated the monster, and Megalador got a grip on his arm and was able to fire a beam at Conner and Kira. Conner and Kira groaned as the beam exploded around them.

Devin was resetting his camera and hollered, "Okay, Cass, action!" He looked up and noticed Nikki running past them.

Megalador spotted Nikki and grabbed his Oleander flower, "Let's see how you look after a little flower power."

Devin gasped as he realized the monster was going to attack Nikki. He hollered, "Watch out!" and ran after the actress.

Megalador fired his toxic flower, but Devin reached Nikki in time and pushed her out the way. The two cried out as the flower beam exploded around them, and they tumbled into the sand.

The two rolled as they landed, and Devin ended up on top of Nikki. Luckily, Devin's heroic action saved them, and they were relatively unharmed.

Devin looked at Nikki and asked, "Are you all right?" Nikki was impressed with Devin and replied, "You're even braver than a Power Ranger. Have you ever thought of a career as an action hero?" Devin was flattered and couldn't believe that he had impressed Nikki. He had only been trying to do the right thing.

Megalador proceeded to fire his flower at the rangers, causing a huge explosion and making the rangers backflip to get out of harm's way. Tommy and Zeltrax were now using their weapons and matching each other blow per blow.

While the fight was continuing, Devin began to consider what Nikki told him, "An action hero, huh?" He had never considered himself in that way but was beginning to like the idea. Nikki nodded, "Yeah."

The moment was interrupted as Cassidy hollered, "Hello! I just saved a life… doesn't anyone care?!" She groaned in frustration as she walked past Devin and Nikki while carrying a mannequin.

Nikki replied as Devin helped her to her feet, "It's not easy though." She let out a sigh, "Everyone wants a piece of me. Can I get an autograph? Can I have your DNA? It never stops."

Devin agreed with Nikki's assessment of fame, "Yeah. I mean, it must be so hard knowing that millions love you. Isn't that why you became a TV star?"

Nikki shook her head and honestly answered, "No. I just want to be rich and have lots of stuff, then marry a rock star and have more houses than J. Lo."

Nikki walked away, and Devin just smiled and followed the actress, "Oh, boy." While Nikki wasn't perfect, Devin still liked her and was happy that he had saved her.

Cassidy's jaw dropped as she overhead Nikki's remarks, "Whoa, that's shallow… even for me." She realized she was talking to the mannequin and quickly tossed it off her shoulders.

The rangers continued their fights. Kira leaped at the monster, but Megalador fired a beam at her. She had to roll but was able to get back on her feet. Conner and Kira began to tag-team Megalador, but the monster flipped Kira onto her back. Megalador proceeded to drive Conner back and landed a strike on Ethan that cause him to flip in the air. Ethan landed with a thud, and Conner leaped at Megalador. Megalador landed a hit on Conner while he was mid-air, causing the red ranger to crash into the sand.

Megalador laughed seeing the three rangers on the ground and retreated towards the water. The rangers managed to rise to their feet. Conner noticed the monster was getting away and hollered, "Come on!" They quickly began to chase after the monster.

Tommy had to roll on the ground but used his legs to strike at Zeltrax. He drove Zeltrax backwards, causing the cyborg to skid on the sand. Zeltrax proceeded to fire a beam from his sword, causing a massive explosion that knocked Tommy off his feet and caused his body to spin in the air.

Megalador continued to laugh, but exclaimed, "Uh oh!" when he noticed the rangers had caught up to him. Conner pointed his fingers at the monster and cried, "It's time you learned a lesson!"

Ethan quipped, "Yeah… like don't blast people with a ray that turns their face into pepperoni pizza." He was still upset that the monster had messed up his face.

Kira sarcastically retorted, "Good one, Ethan." Ethan gave Kira a look, wondering if she was being serious, "Really?" That caused Kira to snort, "No." She was going to say more, but she returned her attention to the fight. Megalador fired another beam, so the rangers had to quickly duck out of the way.

Zeltrax powered up his sword and struck at the ground. He ended up sending a huge energy wave towards Tommy. The energy wave was powerful enough that it drove Tommy backwards. Tommy had to leap into the air to avoid it and had to dodge several more blasts from Zeltrax. Tommy touched the ground, and the two rivals leaped at each other. The two locked weapons in mid-air and spun each other around. The two rivals used their weapons to break the hold; the force was powerful enough to separate them and drive them to opposite ends.

In the Dino Lab, Kimberly and Hayley were continuing their search for the missing Dino egg. Hayley was getting close to getting a lock, "Almost." Suddenly the Dino egg appeared on the monitors. Kimberly cried, "Yes! We got it!" Hayley rose to her feet, "Come on, Kim… we better get the egg and bring it to the rangers. They're going to need it." Kimberly grabbed the keys to Tommy's jeep, and the girls speed towards the beach, hoping they would find the egg in time.

Tommy spun and kicked at Zeltrax. Tommy managed to grab Zeltrax's arm and locked the cybrog's arm behind him in a stronghold, "I'm having some serious Deja-vu, Zeltrax!"

Zeltrax used his free arm to strike, and broke Tommy's hold. He grabbed Tommy's arm in a similar hold and cried, "This is far from over." The cyborg gave a kick to the back of Tommy's knee, causing the black ranger to go to the ground, "I will return, and you will all pay!" Tommy used his free hand to strike, causing Zeltrax to lose his grip. The blow drove the cyborg backwards… Zeltrax opened a portal and retreated from the scene. Tommy growled in frustration… he was determined to figure out why his rival hated him so much.

Megalador continued to be a challenge for the other rangers. Megalador landed a hit that knocked Conner to the ground. Ethan and Kira continued to land several hits and blows, giving Conner enough time to get his bearings. Conner rushed forward and landed a kick that drove Megalador back.

The rangers regrouped… Ethan exclaimed, "Okay guys, let's give this freak a blast!" The rangers grabbed the blasters and cried, "Ready?!" In unison, the rangers fired. All three landed direct hits on the monster, causing Megalador to groan in pain. Ethan cheered, "Yeah!" He was happy to get some payback.

Hayley and Kimberly arrived at the beach and began their search. Hayley looked around, "Ugh, it must be here."

Kimberly nodded, "It has to be… the monitors clearly showed the beach." The girls rounded the huge boulder and Hayley spotted the egg, "Aha!"

Hayley bent down and gently brushed the sand off, "Hey little guy." Kimberly nodded that the coast was clear as Hayley carefully picked up the egg. Kimberly sighed in relief, "I'm glad we found it… now we better find the rangers."

Megalador hissed in pain and growled at the rangers. Ethan was ready to finish the fight, "Let's put them together!" The rangers quickly combined their weapons, "Z-Rex Blaster!" They aimed the blaster at the monster and cried, "Ready!" "Fire!" The Z-Rex Blaster engulfed the monster in its powerful blast and destroyed Megalador to pieces. The rangers cheered in relief, "Yeah!" "Awesome!" "All right!"

Elsa had seen everything on the monitors and growled in frustration. Mesogog hissed, "Don't just stand there. Activate the Hydro Regenerator."

Elsa replied, "Yes, my lord" and moved the lever to activate the machine. The Hydro Regenerator's dark rain cloud appeared and rained over Megalador's remains, bringing the pieces back together.

Megalador towered over the rangers and taunted, "Now I'm the big fish!" He laughed and stomped his feet.

Tommy spoke into this morpher, "Brachio, zord time!" Brachio appeared on the scene and brought the Dino Zords to the fight.

The Dino Zords growled and rushed to their masters. The rangers quickly leaped into their zords and formed the Megazord.

Megalador rushed at the Megazord and cried, "I'm the catch of the day." The Megazord began to exchange blows with the monster. They were matching each other blow per blow. Finally, the Megazord used the Tricera Fist and struck Megalador on the nose.

The blow knocked Megalador backwards, but he quickly got back on his feet. He turned to face the Megazord and growled, "You asked for this fish!" He spit a huge burst of water towards the Megazord.

The water burst was so powerful that it knocked the Rangers out of their Megazord. Conner and Ethan exclaimed, "Whoa!" as they fell. Kira was shocked, "What happened?!" as they landed on the ground.

They groaned from the impact and Tommy quickly rushed to them, "Guys! Are you all right?"

The rangers managed to get up. Conner quipped, "Yeah, but something's fishy!"

Megalador waved his arms and cried, "Look at that swell!" He waved his arms, "Surf's up!" and transported himself to the water.

Megalador reappeared in the ocean and chanted, "I summon the power of the Great Tsunami!" He laughed as a huge wave began to form.

Kira exclaimed, "It's a tidal wave!" She wondered how they would be able to stop it, when suddenly the group heard a vehicle screech to a stop.

The rangers turned to find Hayley and Kimberly in Tommy's jeep. Hayley was in the driver's seat, while Kimberly was in the passenger seat. Hayley cried, "Guys! We found the egg!"

Kimberly had the egg in her lap, "Catch!" and threw the egg in the rangers' direction.

Ethan caught it, "Got it!" The blue ranger began to turn towards Tommy, "Here" and began to hand over the egg.

Ethan gasped in surprise as the Stegozord button appeared on his morpher. The button beeped, and the egg began to move. Ethan exclaimed, "Whoa! I think its hatching!"

The shell broke apart and the new zord appeared on Ethan's palm. Ethan cried, "Awesome!" as Stegozord leaped from his hand.

The new zord began to change, surprising its new masters. Kira gasped in surprise as Conner exclaimed, "He's growing!"

Stegozord grew to his full size, as Tommy exclaimed as he examined the shell pieces, "It's Stegozord! Yeah, incredible!"

The tidal wave grew bigger and closer to the city. Tommy replied, "Okay, guys. We got a new friend. Use your telepathy to tame the Stegozord and he'll combine with you."

The rangers cried, "All right!" "Yeah!" "Let's do it!" and rushed back to their zords.

They returned to their cockpit, "Online!" and got the Megazord up and running again.

The rangers used their telepathy and Stegozord began to transform into a surfboard for them. The rangers cheered that they got the new zord tamed, "Yeah!" "Awesome!" "It's working!"

The Megazord hopped aboard the Stegozord and turned towards the ocean. Kira cried, "Now it's our turn." Conner exclaimed, "Let's turn this fool into a plate of sushi." Ethan quipped, "Talk about a fish out of water!" They were ready to end this battle.

Stegozord charged and leaped into the water. Megalador was stunned to see the Megazord riding the Stega Surfboard, "Huh?! Hey, where did you get that?!"

The Megazord easily rode the tidal wave with its new surfboard. The rangers cried, "Hanging ten!"

The Megazord spun the Stega surfboard and struck Megalador with Stegazord's spikes. The tidal wave loomed over the city, but the Megazord spun through the water easily.

The rangers called on their finishing touch, "Dino Drill!" The Megazord reared up, and the Dino Drill cut through Megalador. Megalador cried out and exploded from the impact. The tidal wave disappeared upon Megalador's destruction.

The rangers cheered, "Yeah!" "We did it!" as the Megazord spun the Stega surfboard around into its victory pose. The rangers were relieved to win another difficult battle.

After the battle, Anton walked into his office and was pleased that Trent was not working on his drawings, "Well, I'm glad to see you studying." He looked over his son's shoulder to see what he was working on, "I hope it's relevant to the business at hand."

Trent nodded, "Yup, just working on some figures." Anton grinned, "Good… good." He patted Trent's shoulders in approval, "You see, all you have to do is put your mind to it and you can do anything."

Trent nodded in agreement, "Yeah." Anton walked off, pleased that he was finally getting through to his son.

Once he was certain his father wasn't looking, Trent moved the figures sheet… he had used it to hide his newest sketch. Trent loved drawing and still wanted to have a future career as an artist. He wasn't ready to give up his art… he hoped he could convince his father to let him forge his own path. His father's disapproval of his art would be the least of his worries… Trent's future was about to drastically change.

The next day, the rangers were at the beach checking out the set of Ocean Alert. The boys spotted Nikki sitting inside her makeup tent.

Ethan exclaimed, "There she is!" The boys decided to approach the actress and try to talk to her. Conner turned towards Ethan, "Let me do the talking" causing Ethan to quip, "Oh, yeah, right!"

Nikki primped her hair as the boys walked closer to her tent. She turned to her assistant and rudely replied, "If I have to talk to any more annoying love-struck fans, I'm going to barf in my coffee cup."

The boys overheard the spoiled diva's comments. Conner crossed his arms as Ethan awkwardly replied, "Whoa." The boys backtracked as Nikki walked away… they finally saw what an unlikeable and selfish person Nikki really was.

Kira walked up to the boys and quipped, "So, you guys put the moves on Nikki?"

Ethan shook his head and had a look of disgust on his face, "No. As it turns out-" Conner finished the thought as he waved his hand in Nikki's direction, "She is whack!"

Kira smiled and was happy the boys woke up from their crazy crush on the actress, "Well guys… I'd say you learned a valuable lesson."

Conner joked, "What, sticking to cheerleaders?" Ethan gave the red ranger a look as they took a seat on a nearby bench, "He's kidding. We know… you can't judge a book by its cover. Even a fine one like Nikki's."

The boys sighed as they watched Nikki begin to film her scene. Sure, they were disappointed, but they were still typical guys that liked Nikki's beauty. Kira rolled her eyes as she watched her friends stare… the boys would never change, but she was glad they did learn how deceiving appearances could be.

Thanks to Devin's heroic actions, Nikki got him a small part on her show. The director cried, "Set… and action!" Devin was living the dream playing the rescue victim, about to get mouth-to-mouth resuscitation from Nikki's lifeguard character.

Cassidy stood nearby watching the filming. While she was there to support Devin and get the scoop for her news report, she crossed her arms and looked at Nikki in disgust, "I don't like her… not one little bit."

A cameraman approached Cassidy, as the blonde had been rather loud with her thoughts, "Excuse me. You're distracting the actors. You're going to have to leave."

Cassidy flipped her hair and protested, "No, you can't do that me. I'm with the press and I have a pass." The cameraman grabbed Cassidy's arm and began to lead her away from the set.

Devin dreamily sighed after his scene was done… he saw Cassidy being pulled away but didn't get up to help her.

Cassidy continued to protest as she was dragged away, "Hello?! No!" She saw the rangers walking by, "They know me… tell him. Tell him who I am!"

The rangers laughed at the scene Cassidy was making… the blonde always acted like a diva at school, so it was poetic that Cassidy was being treated in the way that she treated others. It was a humbling and humiliating experience for Cassidy… the blonde learned she needed to be kinder to others and that acting like a diva wasn't going to help her with her friends.

Tommy and Kimberly were alone at his house. They were cuddled up on his living room couch, and happy to have some private time away from the other rangers.

Kimberly happily sighed, "Alone at last. While I love the kids, I'm glad we're able to spend some time together."

Tommy chuckled as he kissed the top of Kimberly's hair, "Me too. It's nice to have some peace and quiet." He then noticed Kimberly's face went serious, "Hey, what's up? Got something on your mind?"

Kimberly sighed and nodded her head, "Yes… Tommy, while I'm happy we're working on our relationship, I feel kind of guilty that we're sneaking around. I love you, and I want people to know that you're mine. I don't want this to turn into a friends-with-benefits thing… we never hid our relationship before, and I don't want us to start now."

Tommy sighed as well… he also hated being so secretive about their relationship, "Kim, believe me, I want the kids and everyone to know that we're dating again. But we're going to have to tread lightly before we make things official… Mesogog and his cronies keep a close eye on the Power Rangers. You remember how Rita and Zedd targeted us when we were younger, and I don't want a repeat of that."

Kimberly sat up and gave Tommy a pointed look, "Tommy, I'm already deeply involved with the rangers. I'm a former ranger, not helpless. I know damn well the risks Power Rangers take to protect the world. I'm more worried that something will happen to you in a battle… things are different than when we were originally Power Rangers."

Tommy replied, "Kim, I don't want to fight about this." Kimberly sighed, "I don't either. Tommy, I have a sinking feeling something bad is about to happen, and I fear you're going to caught in the crosshairs."

Tommy gave Kim a soft kiss, "Kimberly, I don't want you to get scared every time I head out for a ranger battle. You know I'm cautious."

Kimberly shook her head, "Yes, I know. But you know, as well as I do, that things can go wrong. Promise me you'll be careful… I swear if something happens to you, I will kick your ass."

Tommy chuckled as he gently maneuvered his body and pinned Kimberly underneath him, causing her lie on her back. Kimberly laughed at his antics and playfully swatted at his arms, "Tommy… stop. I'm being serious."

Tommy propped himself up on his forearms, "I know… and I appreciate your concern for me. I promise I'll be careful. I love you too… this isn't forever. I still want us to be careful about our relationship, but if it means that much, we can tell the kids we're dating again."

Kimberly gave a huge smile at that, "I'd love that." Her smile turned flirtatious and she pulled Tommy closer to her, "Now, weren't you about to kiss me?" Tommy's grin turned wolfish, and he bent down to kiss the woman he loved.

The kiss quickly turned passionate… while Tommy and Kimberly were enjoying this new stage in their relationship, they knew they need to be honest with the other rangers. They were happy that their communication was improving and had hope that they would be able to have a loving and lasting relationship. The couple had no idea that Kimberly's worst fear was about to realized.
