Hello again everyone! Our next set of newcomers come fro the world of Disgaea, the iconic Overlord himself, Laharl along with his sister, Sicily.
Laharl needs no explanation as to how popular he is as a JRPG Protagonist and he certainly would have been a special addition despite (technically) being another swordsman. As for Sicily, she DEFINITELY deserves more love and didn't deserve the hate she got back in her dubut game. Fortunately, Sicily is here to stay as she appeared in Disgaea 5, Disgaea 7 and Disgaea RPG.
Another thing worth noting is that Sicily will be a Semi-Clone of Laharl similar to Mario with Dr. Mario, Pikachu with Pichu, Fox with Falco and Wolf, but only in terms of Specials are the rest of their moves will be unique from each other. As such, Sicily will not be an Echo Fighter.
Now, let's see how the Demon and Angel Siblings take on the world of Smash!
Laharl
Origin: Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
Description: The half demon son of King Krichevskoy, the previous Overlord, and a human witch, Laharl fought to secure his right as the next Overlord with the help of his demon vassal Etna and the Angel Trainee Flonne. Getting involved in a conflict between Celestia and the Netherworld, Laharl would stop the evil Archangel Vulcanus and establish peace with Seraph Lammington in addition to rediscovering love.
Now, Laharl continues his endless mis-adventures with Etna and Flonne, now a Fallen Angel, by his side before eventually being joined by his long lost sister, Sicily.

Home Stage: Overlord's Castle
Assist Trophy: Etna and the Prinny Squad - Etna pulls out her Elder Spear while three Prinnie's pull out their knives and start running around attacking those close by. In Etna is KO'd, the Prinnies are instantly defeated, however, a KO will not be scored by defeating a Prinny and will only count if Etna is defeated. Once Etna leaves, she will have any surviving Prinny self destruct, damaging anyone in the blast radius. Lastly, any Prinny sent into another character besides the one who summoned Etna, will be hit with explosive damage similar to a Bob-omb.
Special Attacks
Neutral Special: Overlord's Warth - Laharl charges two spheres of demonic energy in his hands similar to Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, Lucario's Aura Sphere and Samus' Charge Shot. Laharl can fire both spheres at the same time during the charge, but once they are fully charged, Laharl will store them and can fire each one individually until both are fired or Laharl is KO'd.
Side Special: Blade Rush - After a brief startup, Laharl charges through with a strong sword slash, hitting anyone in his way. The strike at the end of the special deals the most damage. Also functions as a horizontal recovery move to get back on the stage.
Up Special: Blazing Knuckle - Laharl rises up with a spinning fire engulfed fist before before punching downward, creating an explosive burst. While it can function as a vertical recovery move to get back on the stage, make sure to land on a platform by the time the attack ends or you'll go flying down into a bottomless pit.
Down Special: Dark Night Slash - Lahrl fires off a an energy slash from his sword forward. Laharl can fire off three additional sword projectiles with additional presses, but it will leave him vulnerable to attacks from behind.
Final Smash: Meteor Impact EX - Laharl turns his scarf into wings and flies through his opponents, which he can catch up ome to six at once. Once he does so, a cutscene plays where Laharl jumps into space and rides a giant meteor on top of his trapped opponents, causing a giant explosion before showing Laharl in a crater with glowing red eyes, laughing evilly. This will deal heavy damage and knockback or will instant kill an opponent if they're over 100% Damage.
Standard Attacks
Jab: Punches forward with his scarf before unleashing a 5 hit slash combo with his sword.
Forward Tilt: Does a hard hitting forward punch.
Up Tilt: Swings his sword upward.
Down Tilt: Stabs his sword into the ground
Dash Attack: Performs a somersault with his sword hitting the ground for a hard hitting attack.
Aerial Attacks
Neutral: Does a somersault slash with his sword.
Forward: Performs an overhead slash.
Back: Punches behind him with his scarf.
Up: Spins around with his sword like a tornado.
Down: Performs a downward sword stab. Be careful if you use on an opponent over a bottomless pit. Miss and you'll go straight into the pit.
Smash Attacks
Forward Smash: Unleashes a powerful sword swing.
Up Smash: Unleashes a powerful upercut punch.
Down Smash: Slams the ground from both sides with his scarf.
Grab and Throws
Pummel: Punches the opponent continuously with his scarf.
Forward Throw: Punches the opponent away from him.
Back Throw: Grabs the opponent with his scarf and throws them behind him.
Up Throw: Toss the opponent above him before stabbing them with his sword.
Down Throw: Lifts the opponent above his head and slams them down hard, causing them to bounce off the ground.
Taunts
Up Taunt: Laughs evilly with his arms crossed.
Side Taunt: Does the Pudding Dance with a pudding cup.
Down Taunt: Growls as a dark purple aura evelopes him.
Colors
Appearance: Laharl wears a pair of red shorts, red-and-brown shoes and a set of gold bracelets. His most notable piece of clothing is a long red scarf that splits into two trails.
Color 1: Defualt Colors.
Color 2: His shorts turn black and his scarf turns white while his hair turns dark red (Adell)
Color 3: His shorts turn white and his scarf turns black while his hair turns white (Mao)
Color 4: His shorts turn black and his scarf turns yellow while his hair turns black (Valvatorez)
Color 5: His shorts turn gray-blue and his scarf turns purple-red while his hair turns dark blue (Killia)
Color 6: His shorts turn black, his scarf remains red, his skin color becomes greenish-blue and his hair turns bright blue (Zed)
Costume 2: D2 Costume - Laharl wears a pair of red pants, tied at the bottoms with small ribbons. His shoes have been simplified to all-brown boots and sports a set of black gloves.
Costume 3: Thunderlord - Laharl's hair is more smooth and clean. His shorts are white with black leggings and a gold belt, white shoes with gold accents, white and gold gauntlets and his scarf is white. Additionally, his Diabolic Sword is now a small thin blade.
Victory Poses
Victory Theme: Cradle Over from Disgaea D2.
Victory Pose 1: Has his arms crossed with his eyes closed as he begins to laugh evilly as his eyes snap open and continues to do so.
Laharl: "Haaaah-ha ha ha ha ha!"
Victory Pose 2: Sits on his throne and crosses his arms and crosses one leg over as he smirks.
Laharl: "Victory belongs to me, Overlord Laharl!"
Victory Pose 3: Plants his sword into the ground, leaving a visible crater as he holds a sphere or demonic energy in his hand before crushing it.
Laharl: "This is but a taste of the Overlord's strength you fool!"
Vs. Sicily: "You still have ways to go before you can best me Sicily!"
Team Victory Pose with Sicily: Laharl and Sicily fist bump each other before pumping their other fist out toward the screen.
Laharl: "Never stand before us again!"
Sicily: "Me and my big brother are unstoppable!"
Sicily
Origin: Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness
Description: A mysterious angel gil who literally shipped herself to the Netherworld in a package, Sicily attempted to take Laharl's title of Overlord before claiming herself as Laharl's little sister and stayed by Flonne's insistence.
While helping with the Yuie Flower Incident and after fighting off angels who tried to take her back to Celestia by force, it was revealed that Sicily is indeed Laharl's biological sister and upon resolving the incident, the demon-angel now happily lives in the Netherworld alongside her beloved brother and will assist him in any way she can.

Intro Animation: An Amazombie box appears with Sicily bursting out of it, gasping for fresh air before pulling out her spell book and getting into her fighting stance.

Assist Trophy: Flonne - As soon as Flonne appears, she gets out her magic staff and casts a healing spell around the one who summoned her (and any of their teammates in a team battle) before switching to a bow and arrow and starts firing at anyone close to her. Once Flonne is about to leave, Flonne unleashes her Holy Arrow Skill, creating explosive arrows around her from both sides.
Special Attacks
Neutral Special: Gone with the Cotton - Sicily charges a cotton ball spell in her spellbook similar to Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, Lucario's Aura Sphere and Samus' Charge Shot. Sicily can fire the cotton ball at any time during the charge, but once it is are fully charged, Sicily will store it and can fire it. If Sicily is KO'd or when she fires the stored up charge, she will need to charge again. Additionally, a fully powered Cotton Ball shot will cause brief confusion to the opponent, reversing their controls for 5 seconds.
Side Special: Prinny Parade - Rides on a batch of six Prinnies foward before Sicily leaps off as the Prinnies self destruct, causing explosive damage. Also functions as a horizontal recovery move to get back on the stage.
Up Special: Angelic Knuckle - Sicily rises up with a spinning holy light engulfed fist before before punching downward, creating an explosive burst. While it can function as a vertical recovery move to get back on the stage, make sure to land on a platform by the time the attack ends or you'll go flying down into a bottomless pit. It rises higher than Laharl's Blazing Knuckle, but it doesn't do as much damage.
Down Special: Cat Tale - Summons a dressed swordsman cat who performs a Z shaped slash attack before dissappearing. Sicily will then need to wait for 10 seconds before she can summon the cat again.
Final Smash: Sicily Delivery - Sicily leaps up and flies through her opponents, which she can catch up from one to six at once. Once she does so, a cutscene plays where Sicily throws all her captured opponents into an Amazombie Delivery box before folding it up and carrying to the south pole where the box gets frozen over. Sicily than forms a giant hammer from the surrounding ice and smashes the frozen box. This will deal heavy damage and knockback or will instant kill an opponent if they're over 100% Damage.
Standard Attacks
Jab: Punches forward before doing a 5 hit combo with her spellbook.
Forward Tilt: Does an overhead slam with her book.
Up Tilt: Swings her book upward.
Down Tilt: Does a sweeping attack with her book.
Dash Attack: Does a somersault tackle.

Neutral: Does a midair punch.
Forward: Swings a Magic staff in front of her.
Back: Spins around with her magic staff.

Forward Throw: Leaps over her opponent and throws them by their shoulders.
Back Throw: A Prinny appears behind the opponent and headbutts them from behind as Sicily sidesteps from the opponent.
Up Throw: Throws the opponent above her head along with some bombs, exploding as soon as their in the air.
Down Throw: Drops a heavy Amazombie Delivery Package onto the opponent.
Taunts
Up Taunt: Laughs triumphantly with her arms crossed as she imatates Laharl.
Side Taunt: Hugs a Prinny plushie for a few seconds.
Down Taunt: Offers the opponent a bag of cookies.
Colors
Appearance: Sicily wears a white dress with red and yellow accents with blue ribbons, a blue scarf held together in the front by an angel feather clip, detached sleeves held together by blue ribbons, and black, pink-straped sandles.
Color 1: Defualt Colors
Color 2: Her dress becomes black and her scarf turns white while her hair turns red (Etna) and her angel feather clip becomes a heart and her snadles turn red (Flonne)
Color 3: Her dress turns red and her scarf turns black while her hair turns blonde and her angel feather clip becomes a snowman and her sandles turn light blue (Yukimaru)
Color 4: Her dress turns pink and her scarf turns purple while her hair turns pink (Raspberyl) and her angel feather clip becomes an emerald star, her sandles turn dark blue and her skins becomes tan (Sapphire)
Color 5: Her dress turns blue and her scarf turns yellow while her hair turns dark brown (Fuka) and her angel clip feather becomes a dollar sign and her sandles turn pink (Artina)
Color 6: Her dress turns yellow while her scarf turns while while her hair turns blonde and her angel feather clip becomes a Crown and her sandles turn black with butterfly straps tied around her ankles (Seraphina)
Costume 2: Fallen Angel - Sicily's hair antennae are tied near the bottom of her head and is slightly longer with a pink head ribbon on her head styled like bunny ears. Her dress is now a pink leotard with a pinkish white overcoat, wears detached sleves tied with pink ribbons, her scarf is now red tied by a gold demon wing pin and wears pink laced black sandals. Lastly, she now has a tail that is heart shaped at the end with a white ribbon tied at the end.
Costume 3: Sicily XENO - Sicily's hair antennae is tied in a side loop by black ribbons with the strands sticking out. She wears a black dress with a ruffled white undershirt and a red skirt. She also wears black detached sleeves tied with red ribbons and has a second whited detached sleeve underneath with red trimming and wears black leggings with laced white trimming at the top and wears red shoes with red ribbons tied around her ankles. Lastly, Sicily wears a red scarf similar to Laharl's scarf and wears 10 gold rings, one on each finger.
Victory Poses
Victory Theme: Cradle Over from Disgaea D2.
Victory Pose 1: Six Prinnies gather around Sicily, lift her up and proceed to do a Celebration Toss with her, much to her happiness.
Sicily: "Did you see that!? Whoa! Ha ha! I did it!"
Victory Pose 2: Sicily's back is turned to the screen before she turns around and strikes a pose, placing a fist on her hip, tapping her cheek with one finger and winking at the screen.
Sicily: "That'll show you to not treat me like a child!"
Vs. Laharl: "Hey! Were you taking it easy on me, big brother?"
Victory Pose 3: Shoots a series of spells into the sky that explodes like fireworks before imatating Laharl's arm cross poss.
Sicily: "Hope big brother saw that! I'm gonna keep doing my best, no matter what!"
Team Victory Pose with Laharl: Laharl stands in place before Sicily leaps on him, hugging him tightly from behind. While startled and uncomfortable, Laharl just blushes and looks away while Sicily continues hanging off his back.
Sicily: "We did big brother! We won!"
Laharl: "Wah!? Hey! Errr... yeah..."
Trailer
Bowser, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings are all fighting against Ganondorf, Ridley, Sephiroth and Kazuya in a rocky battlefield filled with lava as the 13 villains battle each other. However, just as Sephiroth is about to strike down Ganondorf, a meteor hits him from behind and sends the One Winged Angel in the lava, supposedly giving him a fiery death. The remaining 12 villains all see a shadow with two antennae sticking out on his head and when they look up...
?: "Haaaah-ha ha ha ha ha! So much for the so called "One Winged Angel"! As for the rest of you peons!"
The shadow grabs the sword next to him and leaps off the cliff, revealing himself to be Overlord Laharl!
Laharl: "Now, let's see you pathetic weaklings face off against the almighty Overlord Laharl!"
LAHARL'S HOUR OF DARKNESS HAS COME!
Laharl charges the group as it cuts to gameplay.
Laharl: "Prepare yourselves as I engrave my name on your bodies!"
Laharl proceeds to use a myriad of normal attacks against the seven Koopalings by himself on the Overlord's Castle Stage. Laharl eventually gets to a safe spot as he charges Overlord's Warth. He than fires one at Wendy, who jumps over it as the spehere hits Ludwig before Laharl fires a second one that hit's Wendy.
Laharl than proceeds to use Blade Rush on Morton and Roy, Blazing Knuckle on Lemmy and Dark Night Slash on Larry and Iggy.
Laharl: "You're all pathetic! You call yourselves evil villains!?"
It cuts back to the cutscene as the seven Koopalings fly off into the sky as stars. Suddenly, Ganondorf is about to strike Laharl with a Warlock Punch until a giant ball of cotton hits him in the face, stunning him. Another shadow shows up and it comes down to reveal a little angel girl.
?: "If you're gonna fight my big brother, do it fairly!"
"Also, now you got me to deal with!"
The girl turns around to reveal herself as Sicily, Laharl's little sister!
SICILY EXPERIENCES A BRIGHTER DARKNESS!
Laharl's surprised looks changes to a smirk as Sicily flies past him to fight herself!
Sicily: "So you're Ganondorf, Ridley and Kazuya? At least I'll prove myself here and now!"
It cuts back to gameplay as Sicily uses Angelic Knuckle on Ganondorf before he can use another Warlock Punch. Sicily dodges Kazuya before unleashing a series of normal attacks, ground and aerial, on him and as soon as she lands, Sicily charges up her Cotton Ball attack. Once it charges, she dodges Ganondorf and hits him again before using Cat Tale to send a masked cat to strike him out and when Ridley comes in, Sicily jumps over him and uses Prinny Parade to run him over.
Laharl than comes in as he and Sicily prepare to face Bowser and Bowser Jr.
Sicily: "A brother and sister against father and son, huh?"
Laharl: "Time we showed them our ultimate strength!"
Laharl and Sicily fight the two koopas before they each get a Smash Ball. Laharl proceeds to use Meteor Impact EX on Bowser while Sicily uses Sicily's Delivery on Bowser Jr.
Laharl: "Have a taste of the Overlord's strength! Haaaah-ha ha ha ha ha! Metoer Impact!"
Sicily: "Fly Away! Shiny! Shiny! Hyahhh! TAKE THIS!"
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate X Disgaea
As Bowser, Bowser Jr., Ganondorf, Ridley and Kazuya lay in a heap, Laharl and Sicily fist bump each other untils they see the lava bubbling and see a shirtless Sephiroth rise out of it.
Sephiroth: "Foolish demons can't hope to slay me."
Laharl: "You wanna bet, you weakling!"
Sicily: "We won't lose to you!"
Laharl punches the ground causing him and Scily to fly over Sephiroth as Laharl and Sicily both use Burning and Angelic Knuckle to charge Sephiroth as the screen fades to white!
Laharl: "Haaaah-ha ha ha ha ha!"
Sicily: "Here I come!"
Laharl and Sicily are then added to the Smash Mural.
Palutena's Guidance (Laharl)
Pit: "Who's the smug kid with the oversized sword?"
Palutena: "That kid there is actually a demon. His name is Laharl, the son of King Krichevskoy and is the current Overlord of the Netherworld."
Pit: "Netherworld!? Does that mean we're dealing with something like Medusa and Hades!?"
Palutena: "Thankfully no. The only evil plans he had, if you can call them that, are giving kids an addicting video game to deprive them of their sleep or making it rain pepper so humans can't stop sneezing."
Viridi: "Yeah... compared to Hades, Laharl is notably tame."
Pit: "I see... what's his deal?"
Palutena: "Laharl's journey was about rediscovering what love is after his mother took her own life to save his."
Pit: "Yikes! I mean... it's noble to save his life, but to take her own life!? That's pretty bold!"
Viridi: "He closed his heart after that, but thanks to Angel Trainee Flonne, the Netherworld and Celestia are on better terms now in addition to revealing Archangel Vulcanus for the evil self righteous god wannabee that he really is."
Pit: "So, Laharl's a good guy than? It's surprising to hear that an angel is evil..."
Viridi: "Yeah, I find that tough to believe myself. Although, Laharl is more of an anti-hero though."
Palutena: "As for fighting Laharl, his sword strikes have impressive strength and range in addition to being able to use powerful demonic magic."
Palutena: "You should avoid his Blade Rush and Blazing Knuckle while reflecting his Overlord's Warth and Dark Night Slash with your Guardian Orbitars."
Pit: "Okay than! Time to show him the skills of an angel!"
Viridi: "Hopefully you'll be more of a challenge than Flonne did for him..."
Viridi: "Oh, I hate to be you should Laharl get the Smash Ball! You'll then understand what killed the dinosaurs by that point!"
Palutena's Guidance (Sicily)
Pit: "Hey! There's an angel girl here! Did she get lost from her folks in Skyworld?"
Palutena: "Actually, she's not from Skyworld. That is Sicily. She's the younger sister of Laharl and by extension, Krichevskoy's daughter."
Pit: "No way! How!? Is she adopted!?"
Viridi: "Remember that Laharl's mom, a human witch, gave her life to save his? She was pregnant with Sicily when it happened."
"When their mom was given a chance to reincarnate as an angel for the good life she lived, she gave it to Sicily so she wouldn't die while the mom payed her sin of taking he rlife as a Prinny."
Pit: "That's a lot to take it. But essentially, Sicily is half angel and half demon, right?"
Palutena: "Yes as a matter of fact. Ever sense the Yuie Flower Incident was resolved, Sicily now lives with her brother and joins his adventures along with Etna and Flonne."
Palutena: "Now, as for how Sicily fights, she's primarily a spellcaster as she can fire cotton balls, summon brave fearless cat heroes and even call in a prade of Prinnies to assits her."
Viridi: "Not to mention that she can also use Angelic Knuckle, which is copying her brother's homework."
Pit: "Gotcha! So, avoid the Knuckle, Prinnes and cat while using my Guardian Orbitars to reflect the cotton balls!"
Palutena: "Be careful of Sicily's Final Smash, lest you want to be frozen and smashed with a hammer!"
The children of Krichevskoy has arrived on the scene!
