Burning at Both Ends

As Tommy was realizing he was stuck in his ranger form, Kira quipped, "Dr. O, I know the suit looks good and all, but quit kidding around."

Tommy gravely replied, "I wish I could Kira. When Trent froze me in that amber, somehow my dino gem in my morpher must have re-molecularized."

Conner asked, as he was trying to understand, "In other words?" Hayley quickly simplified things for the red ranger, "He's stuck." Kimberly let out a soft gasp at that reveal… she could not hide the concern on her face.

Hayley's attention went to the monitors, "Speaking of Trent… looks like he's up to no good again."

Sure enough, on the monitors, Trent's Dino Stegozord was causing havoc in town. Connor growled in frustration, "I am so over that poser!"

Tommy turned his head towards the rangers, "Go…I'll see what we can figure out here."

The trio nodded and quickly summoned their morphers. Conner led with a "Ready!" and the trio went into their morphing stance, "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" Once in their ranger suits, the rangers quickly headed to town to stop Trent's rampage.

The Dino Stegozord continued its rampage, causing panicked citizens to flee in terror. Trent's voice returned to the sinister tone of Drago as he looked upon the terrified people, "That's right. You better run."

The Dino Stegozord took another step forward, but Trent heard a familiar shout of "Fire!" and his megazord was hit by several blasts. The rangers had finally arrived on the scene.

Conner hollered, "Come on, guys!" and the team quickly brought their Raptor Riders to a halt.

All the rangers were frustrated and angry with Trent. Ethan hollered, "Get out of there!" as Kira shouted, "Stop!" and Conner growled, "That's enough!"

Trent cooly replied, "I'm just getting started." It appeared now that the White Dino Gem's evil had truly taken over Trent. And that Trent had now fully embraced his evil persona.

Conner shouted, "It's Zord Time!" and Brachio quickly brings the Zords to the scene. Tyranno, Ptera, and Tricera rush out to meet their masters.

The Rangers quickly form the Megazord and summon Parasaurzord for extra fighting power.

Trent is not intimidated, "Make your move" as the Megazord goes into its defensive position.

Ethan asks, "Now, what's he up to?" to which Kira replies, "I don't know, but we have to stop him."

Trent grabs his Drago Sword and tells the Rangers, "I hate to do this to you. Nothing personal." He uses his sword to summon chains, which quickly wrap around the Megazord.

The Megazord struggles against the chains. Conner quickly calls, "We need Dinozord help!" to summon the other Auxiliary Zords.

Cephalazord and Dimetrozord quickly rush to the scene to help the Rangers. Trent smirked and activated his sword's powers, "Perfect. Containment fields, online!"

Cephalazord and Dimetrozord were quickly trapped into large barrels and unable to break free.

Conner was stunned, "What?!" as the Auxiliary Zords cried out for help. Conner demanded, "Our Dinozords! Let them go!"

Trent smugly answered, "Sorry. Not gonna happen."

Kira pleaded, "Trent! You've got to stop this! You're out of control!"

Kira's plea failed to reach as Trent cooly replied, "Looks more like I'm in control."

Ethan questioned in concern for the captured zords, "What's he going to do with them?"

The Dino Stegozord then fires its lasers from its eyes and strikes the Megazord. The rangers groan from the impact but manage to keep the Megazord upright. Connor gasps, "Huh?!" as Trent disappears from the battle, taking the captured zords with him.

Back at the Dino Lab, the Rangers regrouped and were working on finding out what Trent had done to their zords.

Tommy asked, "What's the situation, Hayley?" as Hayley managed to bring up an image of the captured zords onto the screens.

Hayley sighed in exasperation, "It's no good." Everyone could see on the screens how the zords were still trapped, and now had some type of star-fish shaped device on the barrels that contained them. "He's got them in a force field."

Conner, Ethan and Kira were still in their suits, holding their helmets at their sides, as they watched the scene. Kira pleaded with her friends, "It's not Trent's fault. The gem is making him this way."

Conner was furious and fed up with Trent's actions, "I don't care whose fault it is. We find a way to deal with him or things are gonna get ugly."

Tommy reasoned with his hot-headed red ranger, "Slow down. I was in his shoes once. And I wouldn't be here today if my friends had given up on me."

Kimberly nodded and gently grabbed Tommy's gloved hand, "Tommy's right... you guys can't give up on Trent. He was your friend, and he's going to need your help to get him back to his real self."

Ethan reluctantly agreed, "Okay, so we don't give up. But what do we do?"

Tommy replied, "Go back to school. Keep a low profile. Kimberly, you should go with them… I don't want you to get in trouble for not going to work. Hayley and I will let you know if anything changes."

The rangers nodded and prepared to leave. Kimberly sighed, "I hate it when you're right… but how are you going to explain to Randall that you can't work? You can't teach in your ranger form, and you can't afford to lose your job."

Tommy agreed, "You're right… I'll have to say I'm too sick to work right now." Kimberly replied, "You'll have to make it convincing, but I will back it up with Randall, so she won't be suspicious."

Hayley nodded, "And I can help come up with documentation making the excuse seem legitimate. Kimberly, you're probably going to have to tell Randall that you're officially Tommy's girlfriend. It'll back up Tommy's story even better."

Tommy gave Kimberly a worried look, "Are you truly ready to let our relationship be public? Randall will definitely make things harder for you once she finds out you're my girlfriend."

Kimberly quickly gave a smirk, "Oh, I can't wait to see Randall's reaction. She can't fire me… there's no non-dating clauses in the employee handbook. I can handle the witch." She gave Tommy a hug and headed for the exit.

Hayley quirked an eyebrow as Kimberly left, "Oh, you sure have a spitfire there, Tommy. I feel sorry for Randall… I wouldn't want to be in her shoes dealing with an angry Kimberly."

Tommy shook his head in amusement, "That's my pink ranger for you. Even though she doesn't have her powers, she's still a force to be reckoned with."

Meanwhile, at Mesogog's fortress, Zeltrax was reporting the new findings to his master, "White Ranger has captured two of the Power Rangers' Auxiliary zords."

This intrigued Mesogog, "He continues to be neither with us nor against us. I cannot allow such power to exist outside of my control."

Zeltrax replied, "We clearly share a common enemy. If only there were a way to force him to join with us."

Mesogog circled around the cyborg, "Zeltrax… you cannot force someone to do what is not in their nature. But… perhaps his nature can be changed." He hissed as a plan came to his mind, "I have a mission for you."

Conner was making his way back to school, minding his own business and tossing around his soccer ball. Suddenly Trent appeared out of nowhere, revealing his chameleon powers.

Conner gasped in surprise as Trent gave Conner a smug look, "You know, you shouldn't walk to school alone. You never know who you might run into."

Conner was stunned at Trent's display of power, "How did you do that?"

Trent scoffed, "You didn't think you were the only one with Dino Gem power?" Trent was not only in control of his ranger powers, but he was also using them without any fear.

Conner gave Trent a stern look, "I don't want to fight."

Trent replied, "Well, that makes one of us." Trent then summoned his morpher… he brought his morpher to his face, "White Ranger, Dino Power" and transformed into his ranger suit. He then challenged, "Bring it on."

Conner tossed aside his soccer ball and gave Trent a defiant look, "If that's how it has to be." He quickly summoned his moprher and went into his morphing sequence, "Dino Thunder, Power Up!"

Once fully morphed, Conner challenged his rival, "Show me what you got." Trent saluted, "No problem" and the two rivals began to fight.

The red and white ranger were evenly matched as they fought bare-handed without their weapons. Their arms quickly locked in a hold, and the two struggled against each other to break free. Conner pleaded, "It doesn't have to be this way! Why won't you let us help you?!"

Trent smugly replied, "I don't need anyone's help. Least of all yours." Conner retorted, "Fine. If that's how you want to play!"

The red and white rangers finally managed to break the hold, and each landed blows on each other's chests. The momentum caused both rivals to tumble to the ground.

Conner and Trent quickly rolled up onto their feet. Both rangers decided to summon their side weapons. They quickly began to strike at each other but were evenly matched as they used their weapons to block.

The two got locked into another hold, but used their weapons to break it, striking each other's shoulders in the process. The two flew backwards but managed to keep their balance.

Conner rushed forward, extending his arms and weapon, "Thundermax Saber!" and leaped towards Trent. Trent leaped towards Conner as well with his own weapon, "Drago Sword!" The two struck each other in mid-air and landed on opposite ends.

The two groaned and managed to get on their feet. The rivals extended their weapons, "Fire!" and both landed hits square on their chests.

The two groaned from the impact… Conner dropped his saber as he and Trent both collapsed to the ground in pain.

Suddenly an invisi-portal opened, bringing Zeltrax and Insectolite to the scene. Insectolite cried, "Perfect timing! Should I infect them both?" Zeltrax quickly stopped the monster, "No. Do as we've been instructed. Just the white one."

Insectolite agreed, "Yes master!" and fired a yellow beam of energy at Trent. Trent groaned as the beam hit him, causing him to de-morph and return to his normal appearance.

Conner caught his bearings and shouted at the villains, "What have you done?!" Zeltrax quickly shouted to Insectolite, "Let's go!" and the two summoned an invisi-portal and disappeared from the scene.

Conner had managed to sit up and cried, "Power Down!" He quickly returned to normal and looked at Trent in concern. Conner quickly went to Trent's side to check on him, "Trent, are you okay?"

Conner slowly helped Trent get up… Trent answered in surprise, "Better than okay… I'm me." Conner was shocked at that reveal… was Trent truly back to his normal self?

Meanwhile Kira and Ethan were arriving at school. Randall had spotted them, "Hey you two!"

Kira and Ethan turned towards Randall as the principal continued, "I got an email from that science teacher of yours. He's claiming that he's too sick to work."

Kira quickly responded, "Well, now that you mention it, he really didn't seem himself the last time I saw him." Ethan nodded in agreement.

Randall adjusted her glasses, "Well, I better not find out he's faking it, or he can kiss his job goodbye."

Kimberly walked up right behind Randall… she had overheard the last part of Randall's threat. Kimberly replied, "Now, Principal Randall, that's not professional. Tommy is not lying… he really is sick."

Randall quirked an eyebrow at that, "Oh, and how would you know that Dr. Oliver is ill? Unless you've seen him… or by the way you called him Tommy, that sounded awfully personal."

Kimberly smirked, "Well, I am his girlfriend… plus I've known him since our high school days. Who would know Tommy better than me? So, the next time you want to threaten my boyfriend, tell me instead of our students." She crossed her arms, revealing her Dino Thunder bracelet.

Randall huffed off in a fury… inwardly Elsa was furious that Tommy had chosen Kimberly. But she noticed the Dino Thunder logo on Kimberly's bracelet. Elsa saw the pink color on the band but knew that there was no pink ranger on the team. With the fury Kimberly had been radiating, Elsa could sense a slight ember of power radiating from the petite brunette. Power similar to the other Power Rangers. Elsa began to suspect that Kimberly had to be involved with the rangers, and most likely had to be a former Power Ranger. This could be something her master would want to know.

Kira sarcastically quipped, "A model of warmth and sympathy." Kimberly huffed, "What a witch… she had no business threatening Tommy's job."

Ethan quipped, "But way to stand up to her, Coach H. Randall was furious… you had a lot of guts telling her not to mess with your man."

Kimberly chuckled, "That felt good… but I think I'm in for a battle against Randall. She was not pleased hearing I'm Tommy's girlfriend. She's most likely going to try to make my job very difficult. Thankfully Hayley and I were able to make Tommy's "sickness" seem legitimate. But it's not going to last forever… I hope we can find a way to get Tommy back to normal. The sooner, the better." Ethan and Kira nodded at that as Kimberly headed off to take care of her classes.

Ethan then noticed Conner at the bleachers, beckoning them to come over there. He quickly tapped Kira's shoulder and the two headed towards Conner.

Kira asked, "What's up?" to which Conner replied, "It's Trent." Ethan hopped over the brick railing, "Now I know you're crazy."

Conner grabbed his backpack and answered, "I know, dude. But check it out… he's reformed."

Kira was hopeful as she replied, "Really?' as she and the boys headed towards Trent, who was sitting nearby.

Kira asked, "Trent? Are you in there?" Trent turned his head towards the trio and rose to his feet, "Hey... it's really me."

Conner explained, "One of Mesogog's monster attacks backfired." Trent nodded in agreement, "I think he released the Dino Gem's hold."

Ethan was confused, "That doesn't make a whole lot of sense." That would be the last thing Mesogog would want.

Trent appeared sincere as he apologized, "Guys, look, I'm really sorry for everything I've done to you. You gotta believe it wasn't me. If there's anything I can do to make it up to you…"

Ethan retorted, "How about returning our zords for starts." Trent agreed, "Meet me in the warehouse district this afternoon. I'll give you back your zords. And I might have a little peace offering as well." The rangers looked at each other and agreed to Trent's terms.

After the rangers had agreed to meet with Trent, Mesogog was meeting with someone in his lab. Mesogog asked, "They fell for the ploy?"

It was Trent in his ranger suit, "They took the bait and ran with it. Heh, Heh, Heh." Trent had lied and was still under his Dino gem's evil spell. He had now struck a deal with Mesogog.

Mesogog replied, "Excellent." Trent paced and turned to face Mesogog, "I did my part. Now you need to pay up."

Mesogog answered, "Of course. I'd never cheat an ally." Trent defiantly said, "We are not allies. It's like we've said- you scratch my back, I scratch yours… then we go our separate ways. That was the deal."

Trent turned for the exit as Mesogog replied, "Ahh… yes. We shall see." The villain was still determined to get his son to join him.

Later that afternoon, Trent sat in the warehouse, waiting for the rangers to arrive. Trent was eerily similar to how Tommy was during the Evil Green Ranger days… he looked like himself but had that evil side of his right on the surface.

The rangers drove up on their cycles. Trent formed a friendly smile and waved to them, "Hey! Over here."

The rangers hopped off their bikes and joined Trent. Tommy replied, "Hope you don't mind. I tagged along, just in case."

Trent shook Tommy's hand, "Dr. Oliver, you're okay." Still slightly annoyed that he couldn't de-morph, Tommy responded, "More or less."

Ethan got a little suspicious, "I hate to get right to the point, but I don't see any zords around here."

Trent replied, "I thought we'd start with the peace offering I promised first." He turned towards the offering he had near the crates, pulling off the sheet to reveal a powerful black and gold ATV.

Tommy and Ethan gasped in amazement, "Whoa!" "Sweet!" Trent said, "Yeah, I figured you could use the help against Mesogog. Who wants to try it out?"

Ethan eagerly stepped forward, "Make way!" Tommy quickly put a hand on the blue ranger's shoulder to stop him, "Sorry Ethan. I think it's better if I try it first." Ethan groaned, "Aww man" as Tommy made his way to the ATV.

Tommy inspected the ATV, "Nice…" He hopped onto the seat, "Good work. 12-stroke engine?"

Trent nonchalantly answered, "Yeah, it sure is." Tommy turned his head… he had used his Turbo and racing experiences to test Trent, "They don't make 12-stroke engines, Trent."

Trent just gives Tommy a sly look, "And Mesogog doesn't make monsters that turn people nice, either."

The rangers quickly realize they've been tricked, "No!" Tommy tries to stop Trent, but Trent flips over and kickstarts the ATV.

Tommy groans, "Ahh, it's a trap!" as the ATV goes haywire and speeds towards the rangers. The rangers groan, "No!" but manage to get out of the way. The ATV crashes into nearby boxes but continued to speed away with Tommy on it.

Conner cried, "Dr. O!" and then turned to glare at Trent, "You'll pay for this."

Trent just had a smug look on his face. He then whistled, summoning his own ATV. Ethan was totally shocked that Trent had his own vehicle, "No way!"

Trent cooly replied, "Later suckers!" He backflipped, morphing into his ranger suit in mid-air, and landed on the seat of his ATV with ease.

Trent revved the engine and quickly sped forward. Conner cried out, "Stop" in a vain effort to stop Trent, but Trent sped toward the exit.

The rangers were just about to follow Trent, when an invisi-portal opened. Insectolite cried, "Not so fast!" as he and a group of Tyrannodrones blocked the rangers' path. This distraction allowed Trent to make his exit.

The rangers gasped in surprise as Insectolite said, "You're not going anywhere!"

Conner defiantly cried, "Try and stop us! Come on guys!" Ethan and Kira quickly agreed, "Right with ya!" "Yeah!" and the trio quickly hopped on their cycles.

Outside the warehouse, Tommy was desperately trying to get the rigged ATV under control. He crashed into more boxes, and the ATV began to spin in circles. Tommy groaned, "How do you control this thing?!"

Suddenly the ATV careened around and began to speed toward a nearby parked car. Tommy cried, "Not good! Think Tommy!"

Tommy then summoned his staff, "Brachio Staff!" He used the end of his staff to strike at the center of the ATV. Sparks flew, but Tommy managed to make a quick stop and managed to avoid colliding with the parked car.

Tommy sighed in relief, but then was surprised as Trent arrived on the scene. Trent jumped his ATV over the parked vehicle and managed to expertly spin his ATV around to face Tommy.

Tommy quipped, "Time to go to work!" as Trent revved his ATV and sped towards Tommy.

Tommy revved the controls, and the ATV began to spin. Trent cried, "Fire!" and fired lasers from his ATV at Tommy.

Tommy groaned as the ATV sharply turned and the lasers exploded around him. Trent hollered, "Better run!" as he continued to fire at Tommy.

Tommy managed to speed forward, ducking and weaving through the explosions. Trent groaned as he sharply turned into a quick stop, "Laser fire! Full Power!" The powerful explosion caused Tommy's ATV to go flying over some nearby crates and barrels. Tommy groaned as he stuck the landing, and quickly continued to speed away from Trent.

Back at the warehouse, Conner fired his cycle's lasers at the Tyrannodrones. Ethan followed Conner's lead and fired his lasers as well as he charged at the creatures, "Out of my way, Spike!" Ethan quickly spun around as Kira charged forward, "Light my fire!"

Kira sharply turned her cycle around and joined up with Ethan, "Yeah, baby! Back for more!" The blue and yellow rangers quickly turned to face Insectolite.

Insectolite grabbed his satellite dish club hollering, "Fire!" sending powerful laser beams at Ethan and Kira. Ethan and Kira groaned as the lasers exploded and hit their cycles.

Ethan lost control and his cycle crashed into a parked car. Ethan went flying into the air from the collision and viciously landed on his back.

Kira also lost control and had rolled off her cycle. She managed to roll onto her stomach as her bike crashed into several large boxes. Kira cried, "No!" and had to shield her face from the sparks.

Conner jumped his bike and charged towards Insectolite. But Insectolite just fired his powerful satellite laser at the red ranger. The lasers hit Conner's bike and Conner square on the chest, causing the red ranger to fly backwards. Conner landed hard on his back, as his cycle crashed into several barrels.

Ethan cried, "Conner!" as he and Kira limped to Conner's side. Kira bent down in concern, "Are you okay?" Conner managed to groan out, "Yeah, I'm okay."

Insectolite taunted, "Is that all you got?!" The rangers quickly caught their bearings and rose to their feet, "Super Dino Mode!"

The trio tapped into their higher power, and their suits transformed into Super Dino Mode. Insectolite was shocked by the transformation, "Super what?!"

The rangers, now rejuvenated, charged forward. Insectolite cried, "Attack!" and began to charge as well.

Conner landed a powerful kick onto Insectolite's center, causing the monster to tumble to the ground. Insectolite growled at that… Conner cried, "Tyranno Power!" as he went into a crouch and leaped at the monster.

Insectolite fired his satellite laser at Conner, but the red ranger quickly avoided the blast and landed unharmed, "Not this time! Crazy freak!"

Ethan was making quick work out of the Tyrannodrones, using his spikes to strike and block. He caused some of the minions to hit the metal fence and crash into the boxes.

Ethan struck two Tyrannodrones in the stomach and quipped, "You'll flip for this!" He grabbed the creatures by the collar and did a high backflip. Ethan landed perfectly, while the Tyrannodrones crashed to the floor.

As the Tyrannodrones charged at her, Kira backflipped off another parked car and landed on top of a nearby crate. She quickly batted the creatures away from her, causing several to tumble to the ground.

Meanwhile, Tommy and Trent continued their ATV chase. Tommy hollered, "Come on!" as Trent closely followed, "I'm right behind you!"

As the black and white rangers sped through the warehouse district, Tommy continued to struggle with the ATV and was fighting to get it under his control.

Trent taunted, "You can run, but you can't hide!" as he continued his pursuit. Tommy managed to stay a step ahead leading Trent to summon his lasers, "Fire!"

Tommy managed to keep his ATV under control as the laser exploded around him. Tommy groaned as his ATV spun in the parking area. Trent spun into the parking area, as Tommy continued to struggle, "I gotta control it!"

Tommy managed to swerve around and sped out of the parking area. Trent followed right behind, hollering, "There's no escape!"

The two headed into a more open area. Tommy groaned as his cycle spun… Trent cried, "Turn and burn!"

The two rangers spun around to face each other and managed to bring their ATVs to a quick stop.

Tommy revved the engine, "Don't think I won't destroy you, Trent." Trent quipped, "Whatever you say old man!"

Trent revved the controls and the two charged at each other. Tommy hollered, "You asked for it!" as Trent taunted, "Bring it!"

Tommy and Trent managed to get their cycles right next to each other and began to exchange blows. Tommy managed to land a sharp kick onto Trent's side just as they were separating.

Tommy spun his ATV to a stop and grabbed his staff, "Brachio Staff! Fire!" and sent a huge energy beam towards Trent. Trent groaned as his ATV spun as the beam exploded around him.

Conner, Ethan, and Kira managed to defeat the last of the Tyrannodrones and turned to face Insectolite. Insectolite cried, "Your bikes are history! We're through here! Bye!"

Just as the monster was about to escape, Tommy came barreling into the warehouse. He fired the ATVs lasers at the monster.

Insectolite groaned from the impact. Conner cheered, "Go Dr. O!" as Tommy came in for the landing.

Tommy brought the ATV to a final stop, "Talk about a wild ride!" He quickly hopped off the rigged ATV. Kira replied, "Glad you're okay!" as she and the boys joined their mentor.

Tommy quickly thanked Kira, and the rangers turned to face Insectolite. Insectolite cried, "Later days!" and quickly summoned an invisi-portal to disappear from the scene.

Trent then entered and brought his ATV to a stop, "I see my friends have been keeping you busy." He hopped off, wagging his finger as he saw the rangers' crashed bikes, "Someone's been careless with their toys."

Tommy tried to reason, "You're making a mistake, Trent. Don't trust Mesogog."

Trent replied, "Who says I do? I got what I wanted… goodbye Rangers!" and turned his back on his former friends.

Ethan pleaded, "What about our zords?" Trent cocked his head, "Say goodbye to them too."

Trent evilly laughed as he hopped onto his ATV. Tommy pleaded, "Trent, don't do this!" Trent just spun his ATV around, "I'm outta here!" and sped away… leaving the rangers feeling more betrayed.

The rangers returned to the Dino Lab, trying to make sense of what Trent did. Conner, Ethan and Kira were still in their suits, but now helmetless as they began to go over everything.

Conner said, "Can we go over this again? Trent made a deal with Mesogog pretending to let Insectolite turn him back into himself as a way of tricking us into taking the rigged ATV?"

Kira was crestfallen, "I can't believe he made a deal with Mesogog. That is a new low." Kimberly gently rubbed Kira's shoulders to comfort her.

Conner just scrunched his face in frustration… while he felt bad for Kira that she was in love with an evil ranger, he felt there was now no hope in redeeming Trent. In his eyes, Trent had proven he could not be trusted.

Ethan agreed with Kira, "And risky… Trent was supposed to beat us. Mesogog's not gonna be happy."

Tommy replied, "Lighting the candle at both ends- the White Ranger's bound to get burned."

Kimberly nodded, "Trent's definitely playing with fire… he's more dangerous than I thought. I thought Evil Tommy was bad, but Trent's evil side is a whole different level."

Hayley began to form a plan, "And I think I know how to get the fire going. The ray used by Insectolite destroyed your energy shields. I bet if we could get that creep to aim his energy buster at the zords…"

Kira realized, "We could break through Trent's shield around them." Hayley nodded in agreement.

Ethan replied, "Okay. Small problem- how's Trent going to feel about all this?"

Kimberly smirked at that, "Every trap needs its bait."

The rangers returned to the warehouse district and set their plan into motion. To draw Trent out, Kira hollered, "Trent! Where are you?!"

Conner bellowed, "We got to talk Bro!" Ethan hollered as well, "Trent!" as Tommy bluntly shouted, "You made a deal with Mesogog… now its time you made one with us!"

The rangers turned to suddenly see Trent arrive on the scene. Trent quickly went into a crouch and tapped into his speed. As he ran, he quickly pulled out his Drago Sword and struck at the rangers.

The rangers groaned as Trent struck them. Conner was the last one to get hit and the blow caused him to tumble to the ground. Conner managed to roll back onto his feet just in time as Trent came in for another assault. Conner managed to block the blows and grabbed Trent into a hold.

Trent taunted, "You wanted to see me?" Conner retorted, "We wanted to make a little deal of our own."

Trent insulted, "I don't make deals with posers" Conner growled at that, "Take that back!"

The two rivals broke their hold on each other. They quickly exchanged blows; Conner tried to swipe Trent's legs, but Trent jumped up and used the momentum to leap off Conner's shoulder. Trent backflipped in the air and landed on top of a high stone wall.

Trent turned towards the rangers and scolded, "You just won't learn, will you?"

Conner growled, "Learn what?!" as he and the other rangers regrouped.

Trent taunted, "The White Ranger always wins." He twirled his sword and disappeared from the scene.

Suddenly, Tommy's morpher went off. Tommy quickly answered, "Go!"

Hayley's voice filled the comms, "It's working. The monster is back on the other side of the warehouse."

Conner urged, "Come on!' The rangers quickly rushed to the other side of the building.

Sure enough, Insectolite was already searching for Trent. Conner shouted, "There he is!" as he and his team came to a stop.

Insectolite turned and growled, "Out of my way! I've been sent to get the White one!"

The rangers quickly rushed forward and began to attack. The rangers landed a few blows on the monster, but Insectolite held his own. Ethan did get kicked in the stomach, but quickly recovered. Conner was shoved, but it allowed Ethan and Kira to team up. The blue and yellow ranger spun together and landed hard kicks to Insectolite's center.

Insectolite tumbled to the ground but managed to get back onto his feet. The rangers quickly regrouped and grabbed their weapons, "Sabers!"

Insectolite growled and fired a huge energy beam at the rangers. The rangers were hit and knocked to the ground.

The rangers groaned from the impact, but Tommy managed to turn his body and summoned his staff, "Brachio Staff!"

Tommy leaped to his feet, "Energy Orb!" Tommy summoned a huge energy orb from his staff and shouted, "You're going down!" as he launched the orb at Insectolite.

Insectolite loudly groaned as Tommy's energy orb shocked him. Conner replied, "Let's help him out." He quickly summoned his staff, "Tyranno Staff!" Ethan and Kira followed Conner's lead, "Tricera Shield!" "Ptera Grips!"

Kira launched herself and slashed at the monster with her Ptera grips. Conner then anchored his Tyranno staff and used it to spin his body around, allowing his legs to land several blows onto Insectolite.

Ethan extended the horns on his Tricera shield and hit Insectolite right in the center. Ethan had the monster hooked and hoisted Insectolite into the air. Ethan quipped, "Go for a spin?!" as he began to spin the monster in mid-air.

Instectolite groaned, "Put me down!" Ethan just quipped, "Okay!" and spun the monster off his shield. Insectolite groaned as he slammed into the nearby wall and crumbled to the ground.

Ethan replied, "That got him!" Tommy agreed, "Yeah! Help me load him up." The young rangers quickly nodded, "Right!" "Okay!" "Got it!" and the rangers quickly went to work to restrain Insectolite.

As the sun began to set, Trent was in the forest sitting on top of his ATV watching the captured zords. Trent replied, "Looks like your friends are trying to save you. Fools!" as the zords growled and their eyes began to glow red. The starfish device blinked as it continued its reprogramming.

The rangers rushed to the forest riding the Raptor Riders and the Black ATV. Conner urged his team, "Come on!" He then urged his raptor, "Faster boy, faster!"

Kira hollered, "Hang on Zords!" Ethan groaned, "We'll never make it!" Tommy urged, "We have to!"

Dimetrozord and Cephalozord continued to growl as their reprogramming continued. The rangers finally arrived as the sun finished setting and came to a stop.

Instectolite groaned, "Put me down!" as Tommy pulled him off the ATV, "This is your cue, Insectolite."

Tommy shoved the monster forward, "Go on… do it!" and Insectolite raised his arms to summon his powers. Suddenly lasers struck Insectolite in the back… the monster groaned in pain and fell to the ground.

Trent had his sword in his hands and retorted, "You're too late!" Tommy clenched his fist, "Oh, man!"

Trent replied, "See ya!" and summoned an energy blast towards the captured zords.

There was a huge explosion, and the rangers quickly got off the raptors and ran towards the zords.

There was a huge amount of smoke, leading the rangers to think Trent had destroyed their zords.

Kira groaned, "Oh no!" Tommy couldn't believe it, "It can't be!"

Suddenly the zords appeared as the smoke began to clear. Ethan shouted, "No, check it out!" Conner was surprised, "They survived!"

The rangers groaned as the ground rumbled underneath them. The rangers turned and were surprised to see Trent arrive in his Dino Stegozord.

Trent ordered, "Dino Zords, attack!" Dimetrozord and Cephalozord quickly obeyed and attached themselves as new arms on the Dino Stegozord.

The rangers were shocked at this. Conner cried, "Our zords! They switched teams!" Tommy growled, "It's another trick!"

Trent taunted, "I'd thought they'd make a nice addition to my collection."

Kira and Ethan were shocked and upset, "No way!" "That's crazy!"

Trent revealed, "The starfish device was just to reprogram them to obey me."

Tommy was furious, "You're not going to get away with this!" He clenched his fist and summoned, "Brachio!"

Brachio quickly arrived, and the main Dino Zords rushed to meet their masters. The rangers quickly formed the Megazord and got into a fighting stance.

Conner shouted, "Let's make him pay!" Trent quipped, "You can't afford it."

Trent quickly used the Cephalo punch on the Megazord. The rangers groaned as sparks filled their cockpit.

Trent ordered, "Dimetro Zord, saw blade!" and quickly used the Dimetro Saw Blade attack on the rangers.

The rangers groaned as the Megazord crashed to the ground. Kira groaned out, "With our zords, he's too powerful!"

Trent replied, "Now you're beginning to get it. Why don't you just surrender the rest of your zords to me?"

Conner retorted, "If you think we'd do that, you're crazier than I thought." He managed to get the Megazord to turn onto its back.

Trent growled, "Then I'll take them." He began to rev up the Dimetro Saw Blade again.

The rangers gasped, "No!" "Don't do it!" as Trent prepared to strike.

Suddenly the Dino Stegozord was struck from behind. Trent gasped, "Huh!" and turned his megazord around to find a giant Insectolite behind him.

Insectolite laughed, "I'm back!" Mesogog growled at Trent, "Foolish boy! You'd think I let you double cross me!"

Trent replied, "Out of my way insect." Trent then summoned, "Drago Winger, strike mode!" and launched the Drago Winger at Insectolite.

Insectolite groaned as the Drago Winger struck him, "Ahh! My exoskeleton!" and exploded into pieces.

The rangers were shocked seeing Trent destroy Insectolite, "What?!" Trent replied, "Another day, rangers!" and disappeared from the scene.

Back at the lab, the rangers were exhausted from their latest battle with Trent. Kira replied, "Trent has got some nerve." Ethan groaned out, "Why can't he just give up?"

Hayley had just finished her repair work, "Good thing I never give up. Your bikes are fixed."

The rangers sighed in relief, "Hayley, you're the best."

Hayley quipped, "Just don't do it again, okay? And as an added bonus, I reprogrammed the ATV. It should come in handy."

Tommy replied, "We're going to need all the help we can get. If Trent and Mesogog team up for good, we're going to have a real battle on our hands."

Kimberly nodded, "This is not going to be an easy fight. Trent's dangerous enough on his own… we are really going to have to pull together to have any hope in stopping them."

At Mesogog's fortress, Mesogog had summoned Elsa and Zeltrax for a meeting, "Why must you continue to fail at bringing me the White Ranger?"

Elsa reasoned, "My Lord, you yourself have experimented on the White Gem. Its power is unfathomable."

Mesogog growled, "Excuse after excuse!"

Elsa asked, "What about the news I brought to you about Kimberly Hart? She is now Tommy's girlfriend, and she wears a bracelet just like the other rangers. She must be a former ranger… I could sense ranger energy around her, although it was very faint."

Zeltrax gave Elsa a pointed look, "Are you jealous of her? She has no powers and is not a threat to us. Although, she would be a way to get at Tommy Olver."

Mesogog growled, "I could care less about a powerless ranger right now. Now get out of my sight. I need time to think without your sniveling incompetence distracting me."

Zeltrax responded, "Yes, my lord." He and Elsa then headed for the exit.

After his generals left him, Mesogog rose from his throne. Suddenly, Mesogog's hand began to glow.

Mesogog growled as he began to transform, "No…control it…" The evil mastermind turned back into Anton Mercer who still had a little of Mesogog's rasp in his voice, "Before he controls me."

Anton straightened his tie and exited his lab. Little did Anton know, he had not been alone in the lab. Trent had used his camouflage powers and had hidden in the shadows. He had seen his father's transformation and now knew the truth. Trent gave an evil chuckle as he left the lab… Trent was truly now a dangerous enemy to both Mesogog and the Power Rangers.

Man, it's been too long! I'm sorry about the lack of updates... I've been working non stop, and it seriously has given no time to write or be creative lately. I'm still going to finish this story and try to be more consistent with my updates.
