"Stop laughing," Diana whined at him, her blue eyes accusing and sad at the same time, her cheeks puffing out as she pouted, "I told you not to make fun of me before I started!"

"You did," Harry said, his laughter vanishing in the wind as he nodded seriously, before, with a twitch of his lips being the only indication, he once again started laughing. "It-Its just, Great Rao, You managed to burn tea, Diana! That is just so funny!"

In her frustration at the man-child, Diana whacked him with the spoon in her hand, only for it to shatter against his skin. He laughed even more at that, and groaning in frustration, Diana turned away and started to walk towards hi-their bedroom. "No sex for you today," Diana declared, smirking in victory as the laughter behind her abruptly stopped, her hearing picking up a small whimper that left Harry's throat, "and tomorrow too, I think."

"Gross," Kara's voice interjected, making them look at the blond teenager as she stood at her room's door. "I really didn't need to know that."

"Why not?" Diana smirked at the Kryptonian. "These methods will be quite useful to you once you have a boyfriend of your own." Before Kara could even begin to respond to the statement, a wave of protectiveness and killing instinct filled the room. The air physically became heavier to breathe as Harry walked towards Kara, wisps of red energy smoking off his body and coiling around his limbs like snakes. While his magic wasn't hurting either of the women, the emotions that it was projecting certainly stopped them in their tracks for a moment with the sheer intensity of them. Even Diana, who had trained in emotional and mental control ever since her childhood, and then further raised those skills with Harry's help was feeling the wave of fear his magic was trying to inject.

"No. Dating. Until. I Approve," Harry bit out as he kneeled in front of Kara, grasping her shoulder and looking her in the eyes. She in response, looked completely gobsmacked weirded out by Harry's reaction, and to be honest, so was she. But then again, she would have done the same if it was Donna who had wanted to date…though not so, forcefully.

"Mhm," Kara nodded, looking utterly bored and non-impressed by Harry's antics, before a bright grin crept over her face and she said, "Hey Harry, my bra ha-". That is how far she got before Harry vanished with a loud crack, and Diana and Kara looked at each other for a few moments before they burst out laughing. "Di-Did you see his face," Kara gasped out, "It was all wide eyes and alarmed, none of that 'No. Dating' snarls or frowns."

"It certainly was surprising, he had never been so flustered about it" Diana admitted after they calmed down.

"Yes, well you took him to Victoria's Secret" Kara snorted, her feet coming to rest on the table, which were promptly pushed back by Diana. Pouting at the older woman, when she saw Diana wouldn't budge, Kara stuck her tongue out at the woman and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Though all jokes aside," Diana began, "Do you truly need new undergarments?"

"No," Kara laughed and shook her head, "That was just to stop 'Mr. I am strong and responsible' from being an ass."

"Language" she chided the young girl, and Kara just rolled her eyes at her before she stood up and vanished too. Diana just glared at the main door, the girl having dressed and ran out of the house within an eye-blink. "And to think I wanted to take them to Themyscira next month" she sighed, shaking her head at the very thought of what would happen once the proud, stubborn and powerful Kryptonians—half in Harry's case—would meet the equally proud, fierce and utterly…unbending Amazons.

Half-an-hour later, Diana had just been preparing to go back to Harry's house with her hand hovering above the portkey, before with a crack of apparation, Harry himself appeared in front of her. However, it wasn't he who grabbed her attention first, despite the amount of blood he was covered in and dripping on her floor. Her eyes instead snapped to the bloodied form of Kara in his hands, the pale face, the slight green tint in her visible veins, and the holes in her shirt making her gasp in horror and shock both. She had moved even before she realized it, the marble flooring beneath her cracking at once from the force of her jump as she immediately took Kara from Harry and put her on the couch.

"What happened?" She asked, her hands tearing apart the shirt and throwing the blood-soaked garment on the floor, revealing the horrifying extent of what had happened to the young girl. Three holes were present on her front alone, one right on the top of her right breast, the other two aimed at where her kidneys would be if she had been a human. Two more were on her sides, one level with her waist and the other with her stomach. Her eyes caught onto the subtle green glow coming from inside the holes, the poisonous green veins running over the wounded area and her neck, and with a gasp, she turned back towards Harry.

"Kryptonite?" She hissed, her hands working open Kara's bra, revealing the slight necrosis that had spread over her right breast.

"Yes," Harry growled, "and right now it's only a very powerful stasis that is keeping her body from deteriorating further. But I will not be able to keep it up for long, especially with Kryptonite's radiation affecting me too. We have to surgically remove the bullets."

"Conjure them, we need to get those crystals out and destroy them as soon as possible," Diana said, her demigod eyes easily able to see the small, bit by bit progress the poisoning was making across Kara's skin. The next second, a simple yet sharp surgical blade appeared in her hand, and with as non-damaging movement as she could make, Diana first removed the bullet nearest to Kara's heart. She made an incision right above the girl's nipple, and with a pair of tongs that appeared in her hands, she removed the glowing bullet from the Kryptonian.

Throwing the shard away from her, Diana turned towards the remaining wounds on Kara, and started removing the bullets one by one. By the time she got to the last one, blood was already starting to well from the wound as Harry's control over the stasis started to slip, the time manipulation taking too much out of him, especially with Kryptonite being just in his vicinity.

However, when Diana made to push the tongs inside Kara to drag the Kryptonite out, her eyes widened when blood began to appear beneath the girl, coloring her couch crimson.

"Fuck! The bullet dug through her body!" Harry gasped, his control over the stasis fading entirely as he dropped to his knees and panted harshly. Thankfully, Diana simply lifted Kara for a moment before flicking the bloodied shard off her couch, and then returned Kara back to it.

But even then, the deterioration of her cells didn't stop and neither did the otherworldly healing she possessed kick back in. Even in the brief time it took for Kara to be lifted and lowered back to the couch, the necrosis had progressed until it was barely two inches across, the green color in her blood vessels had spread further too

"She is not healing!" Diana shouted, turning back towards Harry, only for her hands to fly up to her mouth as she witnessed him carve out his own flesh, the knife in his hands working upon his bare stomach. Before she could even say anything, Harry threw away the knife and dug his own fingers inside the three-inch incision he had made, before with a sickening squelch, he pulled out a Kryptonite bullet from his abdomen even as it ate away at his fingers. Throwing away the green crystal, Harry stood up and walked towards the slowly worsening Kara, tears dripping down his cheeks as stumbled and fell right beside her.

Unlike Kara, Harry was healing from his wounds, which was likely because he was only half-Kryptonian with suffering only a single bullet. Kara on the other hand, was a full-blooded one and had been shot five times, which made the effect of the crystal on her body exponentially faster and worse. Diana watched as Harry, a person whom she had never seen show any kind of weakness, trembled and shook as his hand reached out for the blond's cheek, his bloodied fingers tainting her pasty white skin. As his drop of blood touched the dying girl's cheek, Diana watched Harry freeze up, his eyes transfixed upon his blood.

Suddenly, a veritable tsunami of magical energy exploded out of Harry, and for a moment, Diana was finally able to see how powerful Harry really was, having never seen Harry let loose truly. However, the next moment all of that magical energy was once again inside his body, his tight control reasserting itself as Harry's seemed to glow with the amount of magic swirling within him. And then, he did the most unexpected of things. She had expected him to conjure a miniature sun, or draw the poison out of Kara's body, but instead, Harry fisted his hand over the wound on Kara's heart and with a frown of intense concentration…he bled.

But instead of usual blood, the drops he was bleeding directly into Kara's heart were shining brightly. Right before Diana's eyes, the wound sizzled, before the green lines stretching out from it started to fade, and it didn't stop at that. The rotten skin and muscles around the bullet hole too healed themselves to perfection, within the next few moments, the wound closed itself, not a hint of the fatal injury remaining upon Kara's porcelain, pale skin. However, even if one wound had been healed, she still had four other injuries and within the time Harry had healed one hole, the other four had worsened extremely, the necrosis starting to spread faster and faster with each passing second.

"Fuck it," Harry muttered as he shuffled to his left and raised both of his hands above Kara. "Haven't got the time to do this one by one." In a single instant, half a dozen cuts appeared on his arms, each one immediately starting to well and drip a shining red. Gasping at the action, Diana watched as the blood fell upon Kara, most of it ending up on her wounds due to falling through his fingers and elbow, while the rest stayed upon her flesh for a few moments before it got absorbed inside her. She watched in fascination as his blood worked upon Kara, the rotting skin and the green coloration of her veins receding and shrinking until it was all gone, leaving Kara completely healed and blemish-free. But despite that, Harry didn't stop bleeding upon her, the constant dripping continuing for far longer than it should have when Diana realized it. "Harry, she is hea-," she began, turning towards the man, only to blink in surprise at what she saw. Sitting on his knees and bleeding his magical blood into Kara, Harry had fallen unconscious midway, with his arms still leaking the crimson liquid like a faucet.

"Harry?" she shook him slightly, "Wake up!"

"Huh?" He jolted awake, his eyes blinking in confusion for a moment before he looked at Kara and sighed in relief as he saw the healed skin and the healthy color return to her skin. He unclenched his fists, and the cuts he had opened on his arms started healing, though quite slowly as compared to his normal regeneration speed.

"There, that should do it," he muttered, falling backward on his ass as he gasped with exhaustion. "Now, about those bullets…" Turning towards the Kryptonite bullets they had been injured with, Harry slowly walked up to each of them, and vanished them one by one, some kind of barrier-forming around him to prevent the crystals from affecting him. Once that was done, he focused on the blood in the room, and a wave of fire flooded out of his palms, the blue flames spreading out instantly all over the room, and then vanishing just as quickly. However, once it vanished, there wasn't a single drop of blood remaining inside the walls, the cleansing even burning Kara's ruined shirt into vapor—even though she didn't feel even a lick of heat from it.

Even Harry's body was completely cleaned of any blood, his clothes burning away into nothingness before he conjured another set over them, his shoulders visibly sagging slightly. As badly as she wanted to hug him at that moment, to hold him close to her and reassure him everything was alright and that Kara was safe, Diana knew there were more pressing matters at hand than soothing his frayed nerves.

"What happened?" She asked as Harry sat down on the sofa, and pulled Kara's head into his lap while conjuring clothes over her. He sighed once again, and took a deep breath as his trembling hand came to rest upon Kara's cheek. The blond smiled slightly as she unconsciously nuzzled into his palm, and a chuckle came out of Harry as he stroked her head.

"Mercenaries," he responded after a few seconds of silence, "thirteen of them."

"Great Hera!" She gasped, "How did they even realize that she is a Kryptonian, or that Kryptonite will affect her?"

"See for yourself," he said and leaned forwards towards her, touching her forehead with his.

Immediately, Diana felt foreign memories leak into her brain and instantly, she was standing outside on a road instead of her home. Her eyes immediately found Kara, the girl shining more brightly than the rest and it took her only a second more to find Harry too, the man standing a few meters behind her. Her attention, however, was grabbed by Kara as she walked through the streets of New York with her headphone on her head and her smartphone in her hands. Walking closer to the blond, Diana looked around for the mercenaries Harry had spoken about, but other than civilians passing around her and going about their day, she didn't see anything dangerous. That all changed, however, when out of nowhere, she saw a green bullet appear right in front of Kara, its movement slowing down to a crawl—because Harry might have only seen it then, she realised—and at the same agonizing slow pace, she saw it enter the blond's chest. Kara stilled at that, a gasp coming from her mouth as her phone slipped from her grasp, the crack of the screen meeting the road as loud as the choked whimper that came out of the blond's throat as she looked down at the blooming red spot on her shirt.

However, even as she felt Harry run by her towards Kara, four more bullets pierced into her, and this time she was able to see the mercenaries. Dressed as civilians, there were thirteen in all, and closing in the kneeling Kryptonians as she bled and trembled. Someone must have noticed the attack, because suddenly screams started coming from all around them as the people ran wavy from the scene.

"Command, we have secured the package," one of the mercenaries said, a pistol in his hand pointed towards the twitching and spasming form of Kara, "Rendezvous at meet up in five h-"

That is how far he got before the top half of his body burst and flew open like an exploding watermelon, revealing an absolutely furious Harry standing in front of him with his fist extended at the place where the man's head had been.

"There is anothe-" another man started to scream, only to stop as Harry grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off his feet. Struggling in vain against the grip Harry had on his throat, the man could do nothing as Harry lit him up like an electric power grid, sending millions of amperes into the human. A second later, not even ash was left.

A bullet slammed into his stomach, but he didn't even seem to notice it other than a flinch as he instead turned towards Kara, the shimmering of air around them being the only sign of the barrier he had probably created. He laid his hands upon the girl, even as the remaining mercenaries shot their regular as well as Kryptonite bullets at the shield, the projectiles turning to dust as soon as they touched the barrier. Murmuring something, Harry stood and turned towards the men surrounding him, his eyes burning red much like the mural of Lord Hades she had seen once. He raised his foot, and exploded into motion. Kicking a man so hard that only a red smear was left on the ground, Harry flicked his hands and threw the three on his right into the building so hard that their bodies turned to mush instantly.

The next second, he appeared a few meters to his left, his hand sticking out a man's chest with a still-beating heart in his grasp. Crushing the organ right in front of its owner's eyes, Harry swiped his hand to the left, tearing it out of the man's body and throwing out a crimson storm of lightning, electrocuting four more into charred crisps. Diana wasn't a stranger to violence or death, but she had never really seen such a slaughter, for there was no other word for what Harry was doing. But the sight of her love absolutely, inhumanely destroying the mercenaries didn't evoke disgust or horror within her.

In the year and some she had known the blond, Kara had become another sister for her, someone as dear to her as Donna was. The sight of the usually peppy, sassy and smiling girl being on death's door and covered in blood had shaken her up. Honestly speaking, Diana wasn't sure that she wouldn't have spared the mercenaries such a gruesome death either.

A crash made her focus back on the fight, where Harry had just killed off another one by slamming him with a car, leaving nothing but blood and gore. And then, he jumped towards the final man and before he could even realize it, Harry's leg came down upon his head in an axe kick, making his body explode out in every direction in a burst of blood, creating a circle of red around Harry's leg, and drenching him in blood as well.

Diana came back to her body with a gasp, her hand rising up to her head at the minor ache behind her eyes. Stifling a groan at the sudden stab of pain, she instead turned towards Harry, and she saw him looking at Kara with such an expression of love and affection on his face that she felt like an intruder in a private moment.

"You must think me a monster, no?" Harry murmured, his hand never stopping its motion as he stroked Kara's face, "Now you realize what kind of thi-"

A slap landed on his face, cutting his words off as his head violently turned to his left, bright red marks forming on his face as he blinked in surprise. For the first time in what seemed like forever, Harry felt genuine pain—outside of the bedroom, his mind absently noted as his left hand automatically rose up to rub his stinging cheek.

"If that a was a prelude to 'You are better off without me' speech, I swear to my father I will kill you," Diana seethed, her hands coming up grasp his shirt as she pushed her face into his, the usually warm and bright blue eyes of her as freezing as the coldest of winds. "Now, what were you going to say?"

Wide-eyed and shocked out of his wits, Harry's brain quickly came up with the best thing it could do. A compliment. "I am so glad you are here to set me straight," he answered back immediately, and if the pleased smile she gave him was any indication, then he had just saved himself from an ass-kicking.

"Hmm," she nodded, "Good, now let me make this absolutely clear so that you don't even entertain the notion that was definitely not going to be said by you. I don't care if you killed a few mercenaries. Kara's life was on the line, and those scumbags fatally wounded her with the intention of kidnapping that girl. As far as I am concerned, those who attack a little girl for money have no right to call themselves humans, and I am not about to mourn for the lives of some animals."

"I knew you weren't a stranger to killing and all, you are Greek for fucks sake. Half of your family has committed murder or rape at one point or the ot….and maybe I will shut up now." He trailed off as he noticed her glare, causing her to smile at him. Too sweetly.

"It is a good thing you are going to meet my family next month," she said, taking great pleasure in his deer-in-the-headlights face. "No? I will try to arrange a meeting with my paternal side too." She couldn't actually do that, but what Harry didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

"Of yo-huh?" Harry began to respond, only to frown and look down towards Kara. She too turned her eyes towards the sleeping girl, only to gasp in surprise as a soft glow started to come from within the blond, and even if she couldn't use it like Harry, Diana could recognize the phenomenon for what it was. Kara was radiating magic. Which was impossible because Kryptonians didn't have the ability to manipulate magic, not like Harry who was a hybri-Oh.

It seemed like Harry too came to the same conclusion as her, because he gasped loudly, his face going slack-jawed as the glow died down, revealing Kara still sleeping soundly. Only, she looked far different than a few moments prior. Instead of the slight curly blond hair she had possessed, it was a little wavy now, with her hair turning even more lustrous. Her now longer hair was crimson at the roots, which slowly transitioned into her original golden blond over the length of her strands.

Her body had also changed, her clothes growing tighter as her body matured. Her hips flared out a bit more, and the shirt grew a bit tighter even as her garments rode up a couple of inches from the extra bit of height she had gained. For the next minute, both of them didn't even blink once as they took in the changes in Kara's appearance, and the very clear feel of magic she was emitting. A very clear, very strong feel.

"Oh." He muttered, his voice perfectly conveying the amount of shock he was feeling, and she was too, for that matter, "I-uh…didn't expect this when I dropped my blood within her with the intent of activating the regenerative properties within it."

"You turned her into a magical being," Diana slowly said, and Harry looked at her before he nodded equally as slowly.

"You turned Kara, a pure-blooded Kryptonian into a hybrid like yourself, made her so magically powerful that even I can feel it despite its latency. And if these looks are any proof, you just turned her into your sister for real."

"Yes…that about sums it."

Her unimpressed stare told Harry what she thought of his words. To be honest, even he was flummoxed by why his blood had suddenly changed Kara's genetic makeup, changed her very cells…

'Wait? Cells?' Harry suddenly stopped, his mind running through a dozen thoughts at once, his brow furrowing as he looked down at the sleeping blond-redhead 'My blood contains phoenix tears, and I focused on that aspect of me, willing my magic to enhance it as much as it could as I had poured it into her body. Kryptonite, on the other hand, seems to destroy Kryptonian cells, so the bullets inside her must have destroyed vast swathes of tissues and cells, possibly damaging her genetic makeup too in certain areas, specifically her abdomen and brain due to the poisoning. My blood would have regenerated those, but with the expressive desire of 'Cure Kara and make her live' I may have caused her possibly damaged genes to bond with my own cells, the magic and phoenix tears literally turning her into my sister…or maybe it's a daughter? Family at any rate, that's what matters.' He looked down at the red and blond hair and sighed, 'Fuck, what I wouldn't give for those inheritance sheets those Goblins had. Anyways, the edited genes caused her to develop a magical affinity, and with how powerful I am…my blood made her powerful as well. Still, this just means she will be even mor-'

"Ugh…my head," the subject of his thoughts suddenly groaned, Kara's hands reaching upto to rub her eyes as she moaned slightly and removed her hands. "Ugh, wher- Oh FUCK!" With that shout, the newly turned Kryptonian-witch hybrid shot her fist straight towards the nearest source of heartbeat, her muddled senses not upto the task of telling her that it was Harry she was partially laying upon. Though before it could travel more than half a foot, Harry's palm stopped her fist right in its path, a shockwave billowing out from the impact and cracking the table in front of them in two.

"Easy, Kara," he gently said, running his hand over hair, "slowly open your eyes. You are safe now little sis, we are currently in Diana's penthouse."

"Oh! Wait, why am I here? Last I remember, I had been walk-Oh my God, those men who attacked me with Kryptonite, Harry, I was so scared!" she cried and opened her eyes, the sheer panic within them sending his heart into twists and making him wish that he had saved those mercenaries…because as much painful as watching Kara bleed out was, it was even more painful to see her normally shining green and blue eyes….His brain screeched to a halt at that thought as his eyes focused upon Kara's eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked confusedly, her eyes flicking from his shocked expression to Diana's own slack-jawed one, "Do I have something on my face?"

"Something like that," Diana murmured, even as Harry conjured a mirror right above Kara, letting her see her transformed looks. However, instead of the red hair or changed facial structure, Kara's eyes first and foremost found their own reflection on the surface, and the girl gasped in surprise.

For instead of her sky blue eyes, she now possessed heterochromatic irises. The left one was her old sky blue, but the right one was a brilliant emerald-like Harry.
