Chapter 31: 10 Years Later
Ten years have passed since that fateful day the amazon family made their choice to remain in Man's world. Much has changed with the Party with time. The daughter Artemis and John were expecting turned out to be a surprise, because it was a discovery on the day of delivery that Artemis was carrying twins. Amara and Aleka were the names given to them. Amara had dark hair and blue eyes and Aleka was the opposite with red hair she inherited from her mother with a pair of dark eyes. They are now nine years old and are awaiting the day they turn ten to begin their training. Until then they will remain the students of Alexa and her scholarly field of teaching. Lily and Linka have grown up much these ten years. Both are homeschooled with Alexa's teaching and they both receive credits from the education system. Both have received training from Artemis, John, and Lincoln in the art of combat. Linka has recently grown into her powers similar to Diana years prior. Lincoln began to work for the organization which offered them a position because of their unique talents. Artemis was a field agent with John and Alexa was a librarian which she did many research and translations for the agency. Lincoln went to the navy reserves at 19 and studied at the nearby university until he graduated two years ago. He works for the agency containing and fighting creatures of the supernatural with his wife Diana. They officially married three years ago in a small ceremony at a local church in the area. They chose to keep it secret because they were worried that Hippolyta would have beheaded him in the attempt. Hippolyta was unsupported at first for an official marriage between the two but she later accepted it. She only permitted Lincoln to be her mate, not her husband. When Diana was not doing work for the agency she fought crime as a vigilante in Chicago. She was the famous Wonder Woman of Chicago. Since Linka finally had her powers manifested months ago, she began to fight crime alongside her as The Wonder Girl. She and Diana were a chaotic combo and those two did have close calls with death fighting certain criminals, but they always managed to get away and live another day. For the Past seven months only Linka was seen fighting crime with Diana out of commission with her pregnancy. It was weeks ago when Diana gave birth to Lexa, their first daughter. Lincoln and Diana agreed to have at least one more. They returned home to Pop-Pop's lake house from Themyscira for Hippolyta to meet her granddaughter. Antiope had a blast playing with her and Hippolyta finally accepted Lincoln into her family for giving her a beautiful granddaughter. Lexa inherited mother's blue eyes with Lincoln's white hair. Lexa will inherit special powers albeit less powerful than her mother when she is a teenager. Lincoln a few years back was given the other for immortality from the amazons for which he accepted so he and Diana can be around for a long time together. Pop-Pop is still alive and well and still has many years to life. He too was offered immortality but declined because he wished to see his wife again who passed on many years ago. Lincoln's sister's fully repaired their relationship with him and spent much time with his amazon family. Lincoln made amends and forgiven his birth parents for the wrongdoings years ago after they were released from prison. He respects them but will consider Alexa and Artemis his true family. Lucy herself joined the organization so she could spend much more time with her brother and his Amazon family. Lincoln is happy with the life he has now. Lincoln loves them all and is satisfied with how life brought him. Whether it be on Themyscira or in the rural countryside of Wisconsin. He always has a family with him.
For the readers who have stuck with this story since my hiatus. I wish to thank you for coming back. I have good news for you. Since this story is concluded it will not be the last chapter because I have decided to write side stories here about Lincoln's time on Themyscira and later in Man's world when they officially moved in.
