Here I present myself with a new translated chapter of this story!

I really want to continue with this, but first I have to answer an interesting review:

f46adpg: The fights I try to develop always have that abrupt change from scene to scene so that a more noticeable surprise is noticed and the respective character's superiority is more easily noticed. But, if that causes some discomfort, then I'll try to be more detailed so that the turning of scenes isn't so abrupt. Nobile is actually Childe, it was my mistake for thinking that both names were involved in the English language, thanks for clarifying it for me. And lastly, if you want you can be my beta reader, the only thing I ask is that we discuss the details in private since I'm usually very strict with the times and things I demand (send me a PM via Fanfiction). Lastly, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapters.

Now it's time to get started.

Enjoy!

CHAPTER 2: DESTRUCTIVE RESONANCE!

"Is this what you seek?"

Zarina's full attention fell on Aether, or more precisely, the Gnosis he possessed.

"How is it that you have it?" She asked with a mixture of interest and confusion.

"Yae gave it to me before I was imprisoned. That's the reason you couldn't find it." Aether advanced towards the Archon, an action Scaramuccia and Signora didn't take too well.

"Relax, you've done enough for me. I'll take care of this." As if her words weren't enough, Zarina raised her hand to stop her most loyal servants from interrupting. "From what I understand, you were a prisoner about to be executed. We are not enemies. If you give me the Gnosis now, we will leave without causing further inconvenience." Aether stopped in front of her, folding his arms with a smile.

"I see, I guess that's not a bad deal. But first, I'd like to ask some questions." Zarina did nothing, just looked at him intently.

That action made it clear that she was willing to listen to him.

"How do the Gnosis work? How is it that you were able to use that power?" Aether asked doubtfully, causing Zarina to cross her arms.

"The Gnosis reacted to my desires and ambitions. Still, my will is not strong enough to fully bond with them. What you saw was only half of what I could do with three of them, due to the fact that I was only able to use their power as an Elemental Blast. Anyway, you were already able to see that they are really destructive." The Archon cleared all his doubts, earning a slight nod from the traveler.

"What you did is more than enough to believe you. And, in that case, I don't think I'll be able to do anything about it either." Aether knew that confronting the woman right now was impossible, but he wanted to ask the next question anyway.

"What do you want the Gnosis for?"

That question made Zarina's brow furrow considerably.

"That's none of your business."

That answer obviously didn't sit well with him, and it was noticeable in his changed expression.

But, as he had thought earlier, it was not a good idea to make her angry again knowing that he had no chance of beating her. That's why he finally reached out his hand to give her the Gnosis.

But just before he did so...

"Incomplete bonding brings a side effect." Both Aether and Zarina looked at Ei, who just seemed to be coming out of all her suffering.

"The Gnosis may not be able to be used for a set amount of time, it may even be months."

Those words were more than enough for Aether to act quickly, creating a huge geo pillar that sent her crashing into the shattered Tenshukaku.

"Thank you for telling me. I can't give away such a source of power to someone who is capable of destroying a city to get it." Aether approached Ei, then took her into his arms at the Archon's dull, tormented look.

The blond couldn't help but grimace slightly as he felt the blood run down his arms. Her injuries were definitely serious, but what really bothered him was seeing how the Archon's tears kept rolling down her cheeks.

"Listen, I know we have our differences. But I don't agree at all with what happened." The blond pressed Ei's face against his chest to make sure she stopped staring at the ruined city. "You are in a very serious state, I believe you are only still alive because you are an Archon, a very strong Archon." Aether tried to comfort her as best he could, but he knew it was impossible.

The Sarenitea Pot was summoned in front of him, causing Aether's gaze to grow extremely serious.

Aether didn't know if she had allowed herself to be absorbed of her own free will, or if it happened just because she had finally fallen unconscious from her state.

"Leave the rest to me." The traveler frowned after hearing various debris move behind him.

"I guess you decided on the more complicated way..." Aether slowly turned around, watching as Zarina brushed the remaining debris off over her polar garb.

"What can I say? Complicated things really do please me." Aether gave her a slightly odd smile as he summoned his sword, earning a slight smirk from the Archon.

"Very well..." Zarina folded her arms and a snowstorm surrounded her body completely.

"Let's see how strong this traveler everyone is talking about is."

Zarina's eyes glowed in a very peculiar way, something that made those standing at the exit of the bridge take several steps back.

"Gordi, you know what to do." The members of the Eleven present and the Archon herself could not help but raise an eyebrow at those words. A suspicion that only increased after seeing the teapot disappear.

"Be careful with the teapot. Don't let it spoil the combat between our Majesty Cryo and the dwarf." Signora clarified with a frown.

Scaramuccia agreed with her words, though he quickly noticed that Childe didn't seem quite on board with what was going on.

"Great. I'm sure this guy is itching to pick a fight with someone. He better not do anything stupid." Thought the puppet with some misgivings as he saw the impatience that was showing in his companion Fatui.

"This is too boring." Scaramuccia's suspicions were confirmed when Childe disappeared from sight.

"That idiot..." Signora thought aloud as she watched Childe leave the scene.

"Of all my children, he's the most complicated to deal with. But he's right..." Zarina commented, focusing her gaze on Aether again. "I don't need anyone's help to take you down. No matter what tricks you use." Those words caused a smile to appear on the blond's face.

"That remains to be seen!" The traveler exclaimed as he leapt forward with the intention of delivering a blunt thrust.

A slight smile appeared on Zarina's face as she leaned her body to the side to dodge the attack with utmost ease, or rather, she made it look easy, as Aether had thrown himself at her at a great speed that not many could keep up with.

That was not the only attack, as a long and fast sequence of thrusts fell all along the body of the Archon, who was blocking and deflecting all attacks at an even greater speed just by using a coating of ice on her arms. The sequence didn't last much longer, as Zarina used a bit more force in her last deflection to make Aether lose his balance and break his stance, something that seemed to work as he did a 90-degree turn on himself.

Still, she couldn't help but be a bit surprised to see Aether use that same momentum to finish the full spin, so the next sword attack had considerably more force than the previous one.

It was for that very reason Zarina gave a slight jump backwards, watching as the blade of the sword created a small draft around it once stopped dead in its tracks.

Aether did not hesitate at any moment, and taking advantage of the distance between them raised one of his hands against the Archon who tensed her body at what she witnessed.

"Starfell Sword!"

A huge Geo pillar of great size was extracted right in front of the traveler's floor and flew at a great speed towards his target.

The Geo attack hit Zarina squarely, who was buried in the huge chunk of rock that stuck to the debris of the Tenshukaku, generating a small rumble.

Aether wasted no time and quickly ran towards the Archon. He took a great leap at the end, grabbing his sword with both hands to make a deadly attack.

But just as he began to descend his sword, the Geo pillar shattered into a thousand pieces and Zarina appeared right in front of him, completely breaking his stance. A faint smile appeared on the woman's face as she brought both hands forward, creating a large Cryo blast as she came in contact with the traveler's chest.

Aether took several steps backwards, and although the attack did not at first seem very powerful, the trembling and incredulous expression on his face proved otherwise. You only needed to see how much of his chest had frozen with such a simple impact.

That moment of daze allowed Zarina to approach to the bewilderment of Aether, who moved as quickly as possible to see how the two long nails of the Archon approached his neck, although what worried him most was to see how his fingers were completely frozen.

Aether's reflexes served to prevent a critical hit, but that was not enough. Zarina's nails pierced his shoulder and a large part of that area was frozen by a simple impact.

The traveler lost his balance on himself before such sudden attacks and because of how weird his body felt, so he couldn't help but roll down the shattered stairs until he fell in front of the Shogunate army and the rebels.

"What the hell are those attacks? I've never seen that someone could have so much control over the Cryo Element..." Aether thought startled. "And the worrying thing is that their attacks don't hurt that much, but my body feels extremely heavy." He concluded, being barely able to sit up after receiving two simple attacks.

"Help me to protect him!" Kokomi ordered instantly, and it was surprising to see how the two opposing armies complied with her orders without hesitation.

"Thank you." The traveler thanked her, receiving a smile from the young woman.

"Kazuha." Kokomi returned to her serious expression as she called out to the aforementioned. "I need you to extract the Cryo with your Element." The young man nodded in compression, waving his sword with a weak Anemo current that removed all the ice shards.

Surprise was not long in coming as she noticed that the skin in the affected area was a bit purple, plus his clothes had been torn almost completely.

"You guys take care of it while I take care of treating his wounds." A large water jellyfish appeared right in front of Kokomi and Aether after those words, receiving a quick nod from everyone.

Zarina raised her hand to stop Signora and Scaramuccia's intrusion, indicating that she wanted to take care of this personally.

The Archon watched silently as Kazuha, Gorou, Beidou, Ayaka and Ayato stood in front of the entire army, causing a rather peculiar smile to cross Zarina's face.

"It's impressive that they still feel like fighting after witnessing how I annihilated half the people, not to mention the utter destruction of Inazuma." The snowstorm surrounded the woman again once she crossed her arms, her eyes glittered in a most peculiar way as they narrowed.

"I don't know whether to say you're very brave, or you just want to die."

Neither seemed to take much notice of her words, as they grabbed their weapons and were quick to lunge at the Archon.

Zarina's smile vanished as her hands were coated in ice once more. Once the five of them were close to her, everything slowed down. That was because Zarina could study their movements and speed without any problems.

The Archon took the sword from Ayato and Gorou, then buried them in the ground to the unbridled surprise of both of them. She didn't stop there, as she used the kneeling body of the two men as an impulse to leap over them and run head-on into Beidou, taking advantage of the moment to dodge her Claymore when she rested a hand on it. Her hand settled on the rapier and she used the support as a strong momentum to deliver a spinning kick that sent her away. And as if that wasn't enough, Zarina grabbed Kazuha and Ayaka's sword without even looking at them, deflecting their attacks and also took the opportunity to make them collide forcefully, causing them to stumble and fall to the ground.

Only at that moment Zarina returned to the ground, demonstrating her complete superiority and elegance when she landed without any inconvenience. Although said inconveniences were not long in coming.

The Archon's eyes widened as she noticed how Ayato released a large amount of water regardless of his poor posture.

Before she could even react to such an event, a large area was suddenly whipped by the Geo element, creating a very armor-like covering around everyone except for Zarina. You only needed to look at the rare standard that had been created out of thin air to know who had created that.

"ICE FLOWER!"

Ayaka was in a great hurry to perform her attack, and the fact that only a small amount of ice emerged on the ground was proof of that.

"CHIHAYABURU!"

Kazuha pulled himself together out of nowhere thanks to the great whirlwind that was created at his feet, lifting Zarina along with him.

But they were not the only ones who were lifted up.

The four Elements combined in the whirlwind and generated a monstrous Chain Elemental reaction, causing everyone's armor to be destroyed in a matter of seconds, while Zarina suffered the full brunt of the attack. That was easily noticed, as much of her polar clothing had been ripped off.

Kazuha did not waste his chance and lashed out at her with a strong lunge even while in mid-air. However, Zarina was hardly affected by the surprise attack, so she had no trouble counterattacking. She grabbed the sword with one of her hands and then delivered a strong blow with her palm that froze his entire abdomen, sending him flying and rolling on the floor.

Zarina watched over her back as she noticed Beidou rapidly approaching with her extended claymore. Obviously she was at a disadvantage, as she was still in the air and her back was turned to the impending attack.

So everyone's surprise was more than evident when she stopped in mid-air and then turned around at a great speed. Beidou didn't even have time to stop the attack, although she didn't have the intentions to do so either.

The loud clang of metal echoed everywhere, and everyone couldn't help but widen their eyes in shock as they watched as half of the sword flew off and buried itself in one of the many pieces of debris. Beidou couldn't help but spit blood, and the reason was more than obvious when it became apparent how Zarina's blow had split the mandoble in two and delivered a heavy blow to her chest that froze much of the impacted area.

The poor pirate rolled across the floor until she was next to Kazuha, where it was seen that both had been knocked completely unconscious.

Zarina landed again with complete grace. She didn't say a single word, all she did was remove her long battered coat to reveal a full black garment that fitted her body a bit.

Zarina threw down her fleece coat and looked over her shoulders. Gorou, Ayato and Ayaka couldn't help but sweat as the woman's strict, apathetic eyes fell on them.

"We will not surrender under any circumstances!" The shout made Zarina look to the front again, watching as the army stood in front with clear intentions of confronting her.

Zarina didn't even respond to the emotion presented by those warriors, she just folded her arms and waited patiently for them.

"For Inazuma, and for our Archon!" A member of the Shogunate shouted in complete elation, an elation that was shared by all the others, who did not hesitate to rush at the Goddess.

"Just a few more seconds! These wounds are very difficult to treat!" Kokomi exclaimed with much stress.

"Don't worry, I won't go in right away anyway. I just need you to finish in time." The traveler's words confused Kokomi greatly.

"What are you planning?" The young woman asked with much interest.

"There's no way I can defeat her. And in the hypothetical case that I do, I would most likely be badly hurt and even if we fought together it would be impossible to defeat Signora and Scaramuccia." Aether delivered his conclusions as he watched Zarina show off her great skill, deflecting all the attacks and hitting the soldiers around her with great precision.

"So what should we do?" Kokomi asked with much concern. "I don't think there's a way to survive if you don't hand over the Gnosis to her..."

"That's where you're wrong." A smile appeared on Aether's face after what was mentioned.

"We just need time."

As Signora and Scaramuccia stood on top of the destroyed walls, they were both able to notice something strange.

"Weren't there a lot more people before?" Signora wondered with much confusion, seeing that the cityscape was completely empty, except for certain bodies seen buried in the rubble.

"Maybe they're hiding behind the rubble?" Scaramuccia followed his partner Fatui's train of thought.

"Hey!" Signora called out to the puppet, earning a serious look from him.

Signora gave a small wave of her hand, and that was more than enough for both of them to agree. Scaramuccia quickly nodded and the two descended from the destroyed walls to search for survivors.

Meanwhile, Zarina continued to deliver a grand display of her agility and strength, finishing off every soldier that stood in front of or behind her with two simple moves.

"That's enough!" The Archon's impatience was not long after her shout, sending nearly every soldier flying through the raging Cryo storm that hit the site as she summoned her catalyst.

Zarina sprinted forward through all the flying soldiers. The few soldiers who were still standing were not able to keep up with her speed, so she advanced among them without any trouble until she finally reached her target, causing Kokomi to fall on her butt when she saw that she was in front of them so suddenly.

"THIS GAME ENDS HERE!"

Zarina yelled out energetically as her arm embedded itself fully into the traveler's chest, causing her own eyes to widen in disbelief.

"At what point...?!" Her surprise was reflected in the traveler's supposed body beginning to collapse, revealing that it was actually a surrogate created by the Geo Element.

"Behind you!"

Zarina half-turned around just to see Aether approach her by a great leap as he prepared a strong lunge. The Archon's eyes furrowed for a short second as she noticed how the sword possessed a Geo coating. Her hand tried to block the downward attack, but the sword slid through her frozen hand and she was forced to move her face to the side so she wouldn't get hurt.

"I reached her!" Aether couldn't hide his grin as he noticed how his sword had delivered a deep cut to the Archon's cheek.

That was far from enough, though.

Before he could even think of his next move, Aether was surprised by Zarina as she held tightly to the edge of his sword with her hand, causing the ice coating to crack and begin to drip blood.

At first, the traveler did not understand the meaning of this action, but soon understood that it was not a good thing when he noticed the smile that emerged on Zarina's face.

Aether acted on pure instinct as he jumped several meters backwards. His reflexes were strained as he saw his entire sword turn to ice and shatter into a thousand pieces.

The battle was divided once again as the remaining soldiers went to attack Zarina, being joined by Ayaka, Ayato and Gorou.

Zarina stood completely still, silently watching as everyone had surrounded her, including the traveler himself.

"Now!" Ayato shouted with conviction and they all rushed at her mercilessly.

Zarina's eyes closed for a second as the small storm around her became even more forceful the moment she summoned her catalyst.

Just before everyone reached her, the Archon snapped her eyes open and a loud burst of power was felt everywhere.

"ICY COCOON OF SUPLICE!"

A large ice cocoon encased Zarina's body completely, only to explode into thousands of tiny needles that flew out in all directions.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

Everyone screamed in suffering and the force of the same attack sent them flying in different directions, leaving many on the verge of death.

Aether was the only one who was able to land on his feet, and his eyes reflected utter bewilderment as he saw Zarina already standing in front of him with a smile on her face.

"DOCTRINE OF SUFFERING!"

Zarina spun on herself, her hair glowed a light blue color and her arms were coated with ice to the point of becoming two Cryo whips, impacting with great force on Aether's chest and abdomen, generating a strong impact.

Aether could barely take a couple of steps backwards, completely stunned by the blows he just received.

"HUNDRED...!"

Zarina rushed over, delivering two more blunt lashes to his torso.

"WHIPS...!"

The speed of the attacks increased, generating loud bangs along Aether's body.

"OF THE...!"

The traveler could do nothing but tremble as his body shook like jelly from each extremely fast and powerful blow that slammed into his body. The lashes were so powerful that even the Cryo Element was able to pass through his body, generating great waves of icy shocks everywhere.

"ADVERSION!"

The last two lashes came at the same time after that word, creating a huge Cryo blast that sent Aether flying with such force that he flew through a large amount of debris until crashing into a half-destroyed house that fell on top of him.

"That should have been enough." Cryo whips disappeared from her arms and her hair stopped glowing, silently observing the spot where her foe landed. "No matter how strong you are, no mortal would be able to move after taking that much damage."

Oblivious to what was happening behind her, Kokomi was gathering all the unconscious bodies of the soldiers and her friends in one place, being accompanied by a strange thing that had half of its body inside a teapot.

Zarina began to move forward slowly, only to stop abruptly when she noticed some debris moving.

Without a doubt, she was someone really hard to surprise.

That was why she could say for certain that it had been a great many centuries since she had felt so bewildered and shocked to see Aether emerge from the rubble.

"How is it possible...?" She paused with wide eyes. "No mortal should be able to withstand so much damage..."

Aether slowly stood up as he cupped his chest, denoting certain parts of his body that were frozen.

"Hey..." Aether pulled himself together as best he could, looking at the woman in clear pain. "To be honest, that attack was incredible. But I don't plan on giving up." Zarina's surprise dropped quickly and her face reflected what she was thinking.

"Even if you can still move, you can barely stand." Zarina gave her point, crossing her arms. "Do you really still want to continue this pointless fight? Why don't you just give me the Gnosis and let's get this nonsense over with?"

"That's right, the Gnosis..." Aether summoned the small piece between his hands, looking at it carefully.

At the end, a very mysterious smile crossed his face.

"Don't you think it would be interesting to be able to use this power to my advantage?"

Zarina couldn't help but look at him as if he were an idiot.

"Gnosis does not respond to the desires of mortals." Zarina had the hopes of cutting off his wishes with that simple statement.

In fact, she believed it too, after all it was an absurdity that a mortal could use that power.

"You know, you are confused about one thing. In fact, everyone is confused about something very important..." That comment made the Archon look at the traveler very strangely.

Finally, the blond closed his eyes and clenched his fists tightly at Zarina's impatient look.

"Are you serious?" The Archon couldn't help but scoff at the sight of Aether's desperate attempt.

"You didn't react to my desires and ambitions before. I understand, maybe I was a little selfish, or maybe I just don't have enough power."

"But please, I need your help. I need to buy more time so that all these people can escape."

"I need your help so you don't end up in the hand of that Archon who could be a great danger to Teyvat if she gets more Gnosis."

"Please..."

Zarina's eyes furrowed for a second as she noticed a small bolt of lightning that detached from her enemy's body.

"Please...!"

Zarina blinked in complete shock as she noticed the Gnosis begin to glow.

"LEND ME YOUR POWER!"

Aether's body began to shake as the debris around him shook, to the point where a small Electro whirlpool was generated at his feet.

Zarina couldn't help but take a step back as the small whirlpool transformed into a large tornado that sent all the debris flying, drawing the attention of everyone nearby who was still conscious.

The floating Gnosis glowed with even more intensity and slowly began to push itself into Aether's chest, causing all the ice shards that were in his body to begin to crack until there was nothing left.

"How is this possible?!" Zarina had to take another step back as she felt herself being harassed by the great Electro pressure that lashed the entire ruined city. "How is it that the Gnosis can react to the will of a mortal?! And as if that wasn't enough, it has completely bonded with him!" She exclaimed in complete stupefaction as she did her best to take cover from the numerous Electro blizzards that were completely out of control.

Aether opened his eyes again. His body relaxed and the electrifying tornado abruptly disappeared as he raised his hand and squeezed it tightly. A faint purple aura surrounded him completely, causing a smile to appear on his face.

"Thank you for trusting me." Aether raised his gaze again, disappearing from the site and leaving an electrifying trail in his wake.

"So fast!" Zarina quickly turned her body around, watching as her enemy had positioned himself behind her in mid-air in the blink of an eye.

"LIGHTNING BLADE!"

Three powerful and large bolts of lightning shot out at extreme speed from the sword created by the Elemente geo, causing Zarina to grit her teeth and cross her arms in an X-shape.

A large Electro blast lashed the area, though it could be witnessed that Zarina had withstood much of the impact thanks to her ice coating, but even so her arms had been badly bruised.

The Archon's eyes snapped open and she summoned three ice spears in just a second, causing a feral grin to appear on her face.

"You can't move in mid-air!" With that said, the woman threw all three spears at the same time, generating a very distinctive hissing sound because of how fast they were heading towards their target.

But just before they could pierce Aether, he disappeared, leaving an Anemo trail in his former position.

"WHAT?!" Zarina shouted in complete disbelief as she watched the traveler use another Element.

An Anemo current jolted behind her position, allowing her to turn around just in time to block a strong punch that was headed straight for her face. To her surprise, the block didn't go as she expected and she ended up being swept away by the blow, creating a small line of destruction in her wake.

"I've got to end this fast before he becomes a problem!" Thought the woman through gritted teeth as she materialized another ice spear.

Aether mimicked her action, though it was a stone spear.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Both shouted loudly and threw their spears as hard as possible, creating a trail of the respective elements in their path.

The spears clashed loudly in the middle of the way, generating an Elemental Reaction that created a large crater in the impact zone.

Both Aether and Zarina rushed to grab their weapons once again, and once they did, didn't stop their run.

The two blurry figures collided loudly and the distinctive sound of metal echoed everywhere, creating another small explosion that sent a large amount of debris flying.

Aether and Zarina came to a halt with some difficulty, instantly turning around to face each other again.

The traveler gritted his teeth hard, and his suit took on a truly bizarre mix of colors as he summoned a Geo spear that was surrounded by Electro and Anemo.

Zarina's eyes grew wide as hell after seeing how Aether's body was surrounded by the Geo Element, Anemo and Electro at the same time.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

Aether shouted with pure elation as he began to run towards his target, each step he took shattering the ground from the sheer overflowing energy emanating from his body.

"This is bad!" Thought Zarina in great alarm, summoning her catalyst instantly. "If he manages to hit me with three Elements at the same time, even my body won't be able to withstand that much damage if I didn't act fast!"

"TAKE THIS!"

Aether tilted his spear forward as hard as he could, watching as the Cryo Element began to coat his foe's entire body.

"ICY COCOON OF SUPPLICE!"

Signora and Scaramuccia watched with great stupefaction as a gigantic explosion of Elements soared through the air, forcing them back several meters. Well, actually, they didn't just back up, they were actually blown away by the strong impact of the attack.

The gigantic dust cloud was accompanied by hundreds of debris that flew out of the city, causing even more destruction around there.

After several seconds that seemed infinite, the destruction, the tremors, and the deafening sound were finally subsiding, leaving a huge cloud of dust in position.

Signora and Scaramuccia slowly stood up. It was impossible not to cough from the amount of dust in the air.

"What the hell is going on?! First that huge tornado of lightning and now this unprecedented explosion!" Signora exclaimed in great dismay, and her companion Fatui shared that feeling.

"The most important thing now is to communicate to Zarina-Sama that we found no survivors." Commented Scaramuccia, who was shaking his hand in a poor attempt to dispel the dense dust in the area.

Both Fatuis made their way as best they could, as there was absolutely nothing to be seen.

Though in fact there was something that struck them as far more curious...

"The further we go in, the less signs of destruction there are." Signora commented somewhat warily.

"That indicates the crash was so big that it finished clearing the area. Now there's not even debris left around here..." Commented Scaramuccia, who was forced to stop his steps when he noticed that there was a big hole leading to a really deep drop.

"Be careful where you step." Signora, who was accompanying him closely, declared. "Do you think she used the other Gnosis?"

Scaramuccia's silence made it more than evident what his answer was.

The dust at last began to give way, so that slowly a completely smooth and hollowed out ground could be witnessed, as if a meteorite had fallen and then disappeared, leaving that as the only clue to its existence.

It could also be added that there was a large hole in the center of the attack that led to a long, straight drop to the cliff below the city.

All that survived from the mighty attack were the far reaches of Inazuma and the towering Tenshukaku, though it had now been reduced to nothing more than rubble.

Signora and Scaramuccia slowly made their way up where the stairs leading to the Shogun's home used to be, and the first thing they saw was a certain blond lying on the ground with severe wounds and various ice spikes embedded in his body, apparently in a state of unconsciousness.

That attention was brought to the background after hearing different moans. Zarina's figure slowly rose among the remaining dust, revealing herself as the victorious one.

"I never thought something like this could happen." Zarina approached at a slow pace, and Signora and Scaramuccia's eyes widened in shock. "For a mortal, you gave me a lot more trouble than I thought." She continued to approach Aether's unconscious body somewhat staggeringly with a smile. "In fact, I'm doubting that you really are a mortal..." Her walk stopped as she noticed how her two devoted followers were watching her with that full expression of bewilderment and shock.

"Hey, I decided to come back for all this great show you were..." Tartaglia stopped his speech instantly as he focused his gaze on Zarina.

"Why did you...?" Archon Cryo couldn't finish her question, as her vision went blurry.

She had to cover her mouth as she coughed. A really painful cough.

Her vision became even more blurred as she noticed that her hand was covered in blood.

Her gaze slowly lowered, and a sharp pain crossed her entire body as she noticed how the Geo spear was piercing the side of her abdomen wide open, emanating circumstantial lightning.

Zarina grabbed the spear with both hands, and before she could do anything else she coughed up blood once more only to fall to the ground in a thud.

"Majesty!" Signora shouted in concern as she rushed to her aid as did Scaramuccia, while Childe could only show his enormous confusion at everything that was happening.

"How could this happen?" Signora carried Zarina with great care in her arms, seeing that the Archon was barely conscious.

"The Gnosis..." Zarina extended her weak arm towards the traveler, causing the Heralds' attention to be diverted towards him.

At that moment, Aether's apparent unconsciousness was revealed to be a trick as he looked up at them, revealing a triumphant smile on his face.

Not to be outdone, as there was a teapot floating right next to him.

"You idiot, don't let him escape!" Scaramuccia shouted to his companion, seeing that he was the one closest to him.

Tartaglia turned around, watching as the teapot had already absorbed the traveler's body.

But there was still the teapot.

Childe didn't hesitate to run towards it, creating a great Hydro attack in the hope of destroying it, but the Serenitea Pot disappeared just before without a trace.

Tartaglia fell to the ground and hit it with great force.

"How could it all go so wrong?!" Childe focused his gaze on Signora and Scaramuccia, who were not at all happy at that question.

"Perhaps none of this would have turned out this way if it wasn't due to your irresponsibility." Signora commented with clear disdain.

"Now is not the time for this." Scaramuccia interrupted the prompt discussion with a sigh, then focused his gaze on the unconscious Archon.

"We need to treat her wounds."

END OF CHAPTER!

I hope you enjoyed it!

For the moment this will be the last battle in a good amount of chapters. Most likely from now on you'll see not too long scenes of training and other things that will be developed to prepare Aether and the whole team for what will happen in the future.

I still plan to develop more Inazuma characters that haven't appeared yet. But first I have to do a good construction with what they already made an appearance, since in these two chapters I had to put them in very fully, and after everything that happened it's obvious that they will have a different approach. Obviously I will have to explain what those missing characters were doing during the destruction of Inazuma.

Don't forget to follow me on Patre-on to stay tuned for any updates, announcements or anything else that has to do with my stories. There will be no other place where you will be as informed as there. You can search for me as Jyanzein. I also accept donations, but that's not mandatory and it's up to each person.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. I always answer absolutely everything.
