AN: Spoiler alert! You people might like this. Some very special characters will be in the story.
Now that Davis has earned his third badge, our heroes are heading for Bacu City so that Davis can get his fourth badge. They're actually traveling by train and will be there in no time.
"Now this is what I'm talking about. Traveling by train is a lot of fun." Terra said as she was certainly enjoying it.
"Hey! Take a look at that! There's Bacu City!" Cletus said. All of them took a look and could see the city was coming up. "Bacu City is the most famous city in Grecko. It's home to Gustav Tower, the largest tower in all of Grecko. It's also rich in architecture and culture."
"Sounds nice, but I'm more interested in the gym and getting my fourth badge." Davis claimed.
I want to be the very best
Like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause
(Pokemon!)
Every challenge along the way
With courage I will face
I will battle every day to claim my rightful place
(Yeah!)
Pokemon
Gotta catch'em all
Oh, so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me, I'll teach you

(Davis' voice): Vive La Bacu
As soon as the train pulled into the station, Davis got going. He wanted to head directly to the gym with the others trying to keep up with him.
"What is he running for?!" Terra said.
"After his last gym battle, and finding out one was so close, he's pumped for another one." Cletus said.
"There it is! I see it!" Davis said as the gym was right in front of him. "Time for that fourth badge!" He called, but crashed right against the door. "What the heck?" He moaned.
"Davis, you need to slow down." Terra said. "If you had, you would have seen the close sign." She pointed out and they all now saw that the gym was closed.
"Closed?! You've got to be kidding me! I was ready for a gym battle early in the morning!" Davis said.
"Excuse me. Are you here for a gym battle?" They all looked and met with a lady that had vermillion hair tied back with her wearing a cerulean outfit. "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid the gym leader, Jean, is away. I'm afraid he won't be back for a couple days."
"Man. I thought I was going to get my next badge right away." Davis complained. "I was so looking forward to having my fourth badge."
"It's only going to be for a couple days." Terra said.
"What are we going to do until then?" Imperialdramon questioned.
"Pardon me, but you're all trainers, right?" The lady asked. "My name is Caline Bustier. I'm a teacher for students that are old enough to be trainers, but want to know more about being a good trainer or decide to pursue a different career besides being a trainer. Since all three of you are experienced trainers and looking for something to do here, would you mind coming in and telling about your experience and such."
"That sounds lovely. What do you guys think?" Cletus asked.
"Why not? We're going to be here for a while until Davis has his gym battle." Terra said.
"Better than nothing." Davis said. He might not have a gym battle, but at least they'll have some fun in Bacu for a while.
...
The School
Miss Bustier showed the way to the school she works at. When they got there, they walked right into the classroom.
"Good morning, everyone." Miss Bustier said.
"Good morning, Miss Bustier."
"I'm sorry I'm late, but I ran into some kind trainers who agreed to come in and speak with all of you." Miss Bustier said. "There names are Davis, Terra, Cletus, and Imperialdramon."
"Hello, everyone." Cletus greeted.
"It's nice to be here." Terra said.
"This is cool. Real trainers. Do you guys go around and do a bunch of fun stuff." One student asked.
"Yeah. I became a new trainer when..." Terra was about to share her story when she noticed who she was talking to. "Wait a minute. Oh my gosh! Are you Adrien?!"
"Uh... I am." The guy introduced.
"Oh my gosh! I can't believe it's you!" Terra said. "You're really Adrien!"
"You know him?" Davis questioned.
"Are you telling me you don't?" Terra said. "He is a famous model, and his father is Gabriel."
"Who?"Davis questioned.
"You don't know Gabriel either? He's one of the best fashion icons in the whole region!" Terra said.
"Oh... Fashion isn't really my thing." Davis said.
"It's not surprising you don't know. Traveling around on foot rather than in luxury? How expected. Traveling, you'll always be out of style." One girl claimed.
"Chloe, these are our guests. Be nice." Miss Bustier claimed, but the girl just brushed it all off. "As I was saying, these trainers agreed to come in and share their experience. In fact, Davis here was trying to challenge the Bacu Gym."
"Yeah. I'm going around challenging the gyms. I already have three badges. Check it." Davis said as he showed his three badges.
"Wow. Check it out, Nino." Adrien told the guy sitting next to him.
"Cool. They're the real deal." Nino said as he and other students were amazed with them.
"So what?" Chloe said. "They look tacky, ugly, and utterly ridiculous ."
"I'm not carrying them for looks." Davis said. "I'm challenging the gyms because I want to enter the Grecko League and win it, but I need to get eight badges to do that. Sadly, this Jean isn't at the gym so I can't get my fourth badge."
"Or maybe he thought someone who looks so ridiculous was coming and left." Chloe teased.
"Chloe, enough." Miss Bustier insisted. "The gym leader is just simply attending other matters. Otherwise, he would accept any challenge. I'm sorry about Chloe. She's our more...troubling student."
"That's putting it nicely." One girl said. "She's a spoiled brat."
"Alya..." Miss Bustier warned.
"Alya is right." The girl next to Alya said. "Chloe is mean and rotten to everyone. She acts like she's better than everyone and thinks she can do whatever she wants because her father is the mayor."
"Thank you, Marinette." Alya said.
"Be that as it may, I want everyone to be on their best behavior for our guests." Miss Bustier claimed. "Would you all mind showing the kind of pokemon you caught on your travels."
"Sure." Davis said.
"Everyone, out!" They called as they released all of their pokemon to show the class. Everyone loved seeing all the different kinds of pokemon. All of their pokemon went to associate with everyone in the class.
"This is really fun." Terra said, but she noticed something.
"Slowpoke..."
"What's wrong, Slowpoke? Don't you want to to go say hello?" Terra questioned, but Slowpoke just stood there with a blank look on its face. "Hello? Anyone home?"
"Is there a problem with your Slowpoke?" Miss Bustier asked.
"I don't know. Honestly, I haven't had it for very long so I don't know what's going on in its head." Terra said.
"Well, why don't you take a seat anywhere you like. I'm sure there's room." Miss Bustier said. They took the offer and tried to find a seat.
"Hey, you can sit with us." Adrien said as he and Nino offered Davis a seat.
"Thanks." Davis said as he was about to sit, but then noticed a sleeping pokemon underneath the desk. It looked just like a large panther with a white spot around its mouth.
"Sorry. That's jus my Panthark." Adrien said. Seeing this new pokemon, Davis pulled out his pokedex.
"Panthark, the Cataclysmic Pokemon. A dark-type. Many tend to stay clear of this pokemon, not only for its fierce nature, but also because it can generate destructive power."
"Miss Bustier allows pokemon to be in the classroom as long as they don't disturb the class." Adrien said as he petted Panthark. "My father gave him to me thinking I deserve a powerful and exotic pokemon. A pokemon he thought that best suits me."
"It's so cool that you got real gym badges." Nino said as Davis took a seat. "Are you pretty strong?"
"I like to think so." Davis said as he was getting along with the boys.
"Excuse me. Is it okay if I sit here?" Terra asked Marinette and Alya.
"Sure." Marinette said as they made room for her. "I'm Marinette, and this is my best friend, Alya."
"Hi. Is this your first time in Bacu?" Alya said.
"Sure is, and I can't wait to check it all out." Terra said.
...
Later
once a free period came, they were all free to walk around the school and do their own thing. All Adrien did was sit back with his Panthark still sleeping and just relaxed.
"Does all Panthark does is sleep?" Davis asked.
"Sort of." Adrien said. "I don't get to travel like you do. Between modeling for my father, school, fencing lessons, and other stuff; Panthark doesn't get to do much. To be honest, I would love to travel like any other trainer."
"Why don't you?" Imperialdramon questioned.
"Yeah. You can be a trainer now. What's stopping you?" Davis asked.
"My father." Adrien claimed.
"Adrien's father is pretty controlling." Nino said. "He doesn't really let Adrien do what he wants, not even hang with his friends. He hardly ever lets Adrien out of the house."
"Seriously?" Davis questioned as he found that hard to believe. "Adrien, you should just tell your old man you're not happy and you want to travel like a trainer." He claimed, but Adrien seemed rather hesitant to do that.
"Adrien, don't listen to him." Chloe said as she just pushed Davis out of the way. "Traveling around like that is so icky. I can just imagine the blisters from all that walking. Not to mention sleeping outside, having to eat common food, and having to meet a bunch of losers. Plus, you wouldn't get to see me." She claimed as she hugged him.
"What's that about? Terra asked. "Are those two dating?"
"No! Absolutely not!" Marinette said with a little too much emotion.
"Adrien is a nice guy. No way he would date that brat." Alya said. "Chloe just thinks an amazing guy like Adrien should be with someone like her, but they are so different."
"Forget about Chloe. What should we do in the meantime?" Cletus asked.
"Well, why don't we see how tough you experienced trainers really are." Alya said. "During our free period, we're allowed to have battles if we want."
"Did I hear we can battle? Sweet!" Davis said as he was excited for a battle.
"Hey! This is a perfect chance for me to see what Slowpoke can really do!" Terra said. "Come on. Let me battle first."
"Sure, Terra. I'll even be the referee." Cletus said.
"Great. I'll even be your opponent." Alya said as she took her position. "I think my pokemon could use a little exercise. Come on out, Vulpix!"
"Vul!"
"It's so cute!" Terra said as she used her pokedex.
"Vulpix, the Fox Pokemon. A fire-type. Vulpix are capable of generating flames, but many have mistaken them to be spirits of the deceased."
"Time to see how good of a battler Slowpoke really is. Let's go, Slowpoke!" Terra called as she released her pokemon.
"Slo."
"Let's do this, Slowpoke. Time to see what a battler you are." Terra said, but Slowpoke didn't even seem at motivated. It just stood there with a blank expression. "Hello. We're about to battle."
"Doesn't seem that excited. Vulpix, let's get that Slowpoke moving by using Quick Attack!" Alya called. Vulpix charged right at Slowpoke with great speed and tackled Slowpoke.
"Come on, Slowpoke! Time to battle back!" Terra said, but Slowpoke didn't react or anything. Slowpoke was just acting so...dopey. Almost like it didn't know what was going on. "Slowpoke! Get your head in the game!" She called, but nothing and it was getting irritating. "What attacks can Slowpoke even use?!"
"Just use your pokedex for that." Davis said. That's just what Terra did.
"Okay. According to this, Slowpoke knows Water Gun, Yawn, Confusion, and Psyshock. Slowpoke, let's use Confusion!" She called, but Slowpoke didn't do anything. "Okay... Try Water Gun!" Still nothing. Slowpoke wouldn't move or do anything. "What is wrong with you?! Can't you hear me at all?!"
"What's going on? Why won't Slowpoke do anything?" Imperialdramon questioned.
"It's got to battle back or it's going to lose." Davis said.
"Maybe it needs a little more motivation. Vulpix, Ember!" Alya called. Vulpix attacked with sparks of fire, but Slowpoke just kept taking the attacks.
"Hahahah! That pokemon really suits you!" Chloe called as she walked out of there and played with her phone.
"This is embarrassing. What is wrong with my Slowpoke?" Terra said.
"It's okay, Terra. You can just use a different pokemon." Alya said as it seemed like they were getting nowhere. Just then, something strange happened.
"Slowpoke." Slowpoke finally acted as it used Confusion and lifted Vulpix up in the air.
"Slowpoke?" Terra questioned. Then, Slowpoke unleashed Water Gun and it was powerful. The attack blasted against Vulpix. Vulpix hit the wall with Chloe also getting wet from the attack. Vulpix was knocked out after that.
"I'm calling the match there!" Cletus called. "That was unreal! I've never seen a Water Gun so powerful!"
"Unreal! My Slowpoke is that powerful?" Terra wondered. "But why did it wait until now?"
"What's the deal, Slowpoke?" Imperialdramon asked. Slowpoke tried talking to it, but it was not going so well. "It's no good. Slowpoke is talking so slow that I can't really understand it."
"I guess Slowpoke does things at its own pace." Davis said.
"It seems that Slowpoke does have some power, but is rather slow." Cletus claimed. Still, Terra wasn't expecting her dopey pokemon to have such power.
"My clothes! You messed up my hair!" Chloe complained.
"Oops. Sorry." Terra mocked as she lifted Slowpoke and was starting to warmup to Slowpoke now, but it's still a weird pokemon.
"This is getting more interesting than I thought." Davis said.
"And it will continue to do so." Miss Bustier claimed. "Davis, you might not have your gym battle, but perhaps you might be interested in Bacu City's annual Battle Tournament."
"There's going to be a tournament here?" Davis questioned.
"It's held every year, and it's coming up soon." Miss Bustier claimed.
"That sounds awesome! No way am I missing it!" Davis said.
Though Davis didn't get his gym battle, he made new friends and learned about an upcoming tournament. What other surprises is in store for our heroes? Stay tune to find out
