What's up, what's up!! Brand new chapter, already? I'm doing well for once, and since my school has been canceled for the week, I thought I'd knock out another chapter! Thank you to everyone who's already started reading the story and I hope you like this one!
BTW RAELYNN'S NEW FACE CLAIM IS NOW YOUNG ANNE HATHAWAY. I couldn't find a picture but just like think of a small child with anne hathaway's face *shrugs*
Jenna stared curiously at the Aquitian Rangers in the viewing globe.
"Zordon, I, Delphine, leader of the Aquitian Rangers, answer your transmission," The lady in the front said, the small act made Jenna excited, seeing as she was a female leader.
"We are in dire need of your assistance," Zordon explained. "The Earth has been regressed back in time and has come under the attack of Master Vile."
"Yes, Master Vile, a most unwelcome visitor," Delphine spoke, and the viewing globe zoomed in to show only her face.
"I am afraid your intervention would mean a great risk to your physical well-being," Zordon worried. "However, we have no choice but to humbly request that you take that chance."
"Does not the planet Earth hold large bodies of water upon it?" Delphine asked.
"Oh, yes! Lakes and oceans full, not to mention a few swimming pools," Alpha told them, brightly.
"I am not certain whether your particular water sources will sustain us," Delphine said. "However, that can be determined when the need arises."
"What about Zords?" Billy asked.
"Yeah, they'll need them if they're gonna have a chance against Master Vile," Tommy agreed.
Jenna bit her lip, not knowing if they had the technology, but then the viewing globe zoomed in on one of the male aquitians.
"I am Cestro, expert in engagement technologies. Our Battle Borgs were presented to us over a millennium ago by a great sage, Ninjor," Cestro informed them.
"We could really use him right now," Adam commented.
"Yeah, unfortunately, we won't find the temple for years," Billy reminded them. Jenna stared in awe when the viewing globe showed the Battle Borgs.
"Our Battle Borgs process similar technologies to your Earth piloted Zords. But unlike yours, we control ours telepathically. They will be at our disposal at a moment's notice," Cestro explained and Jenna got even more excited at the thought of the machines.
"You will have control of our Rangers Shogun Zords in case of emergency," Zordon added.
"Do not fear, Zordon. You did right to call upon us," Delphine assured him. "We shall make preparations and set a path to your nearest body of water right away. Until then."
Delphine made an unfamiliar gesture with her hands before the transmission ended.
"Totally awesome!" Tommy cheered.
"They're really coming," Aisha smiled, and she could hardly believe it.
Jenna flinched when the loud alarm sounded, alerting them to danger.
"AY-Yi-Yi!" Alpha cried. "Zordon, there's an implosion device outside the Command Center!"
"A what?" Aisha asked.
"Like a bomb, but worse," Billy explained.
"It could blow the whole command center to bits," Jenna added, biting her lip.
"Master Vile must have had it planted there," Alpha realized.
"He must have had Rito or Goldar do it," Raelynn spoke up. "I've heard both him and my mother say they were the 'expendable' ones." Raelynn explained when the others gave her odd looks.
"Why weren't we alerted?" Rocky questioned.
"Our security scanners must have weakened, due to the distress transmissions sent to Aquitar," Zordon discerned.
"If we don't do something quick, we're all gonna be history," Adam realized.
Alpha went over to the computers, while all of the Rangers ran up to Zordon. Raelynn hung back, watching the viewing globe show the implosion device waiting to go off.
"Zordon, we've got to get out there and disconnect that thing," Kat stressed, throwing her hands up for emphasis.
"I cannot allow that Rangers. The danger is too great," Zordon denied.
"Zordon is right, Rangers," Alpha agreed. "I must go myself. There's no sense in all of you risking your lives as well."
"I can go as well," Raelynn spoke up, making everyone turn to her, as she looked thoughtful. "Finster has made an abundance of those, I'm sure I could help disable it."
"Oh, I don't know, Raelynn," Alpha worried.
"Please, I can do this," Raelynn said again, looking desperate.
"Very well, Raelynn will assist Alpha," Zordon decided.
"Besides, don't worry. They'll always be an Alpha 6 if something should happen to me," Alpha tried to reassure them.
"You can't!" Rocky argued.
"Rocky's right, we don't want Alpha 6, we want you Alpha," Jenna added, looking worried.
"He must, Rocky, Jenna. It is our only chance," Zordon explained. "Alpha, I want you to teleport the Rangers out of here." Alpha followed his directions, moving to the console.
"No, we won't leave you," Tommy said, determinedly, making him stop.
"Tommy, you must go to Angel Grove beach and await the Alien Rangers," Zordon ordered. "If for some reason, Alpha and I are not able to guide them, then you seven must. I am counting on you. Now go!"
"Here, take this," Alpha said, handing a small mirror looking device to Billy. "It will enable you to contact us. It will work like a miniature viewing globe."
"Okay, Alpha," Billy nodded, inspecting it closely.
"Now, into position and get ready," Alpha guided, and the Rangers all gathered closer.
"We're ready," Billy sighed, and Alpha turned to the computer.
"Be careful, we love you," Aisha told Alpha, and Jenna nodded. She looked to Raelynn who was standing off to the side.
"Good luck, Rae," Jenna smiled, earning a shy one from Raelynn.
"Uh..." Alpha trailed off, clearing his throat. "Coordinates and destination are set now."
The Rangers teleported off in their personal colors, and Alpha clicked some buttons on the console.
"I love you too, Rangers," Alpha said, now that they were gone. Raelynn took a deep breath, as she walked closer to Alpha and Zordon.
"You must hurry, Alpha," Zordon reminded.
"I know, Zordon," Alpha said. "Are you ready, Raelynn?"
"Let's go," Raelynn nodded.
"We're on our way now, Zordon," Alpha said, as they both exited the Command Center.
Jenna sighed as they appeared on the beach, the others all took in their surroundings, while she looked to Billy, who was looking at the mini viewing globe.
"I guess all we can do now is wait," Billy spoke up.
"Yeah," Tommy nodded.
"I wish we knew for sure they were gonna be okay," Jenna muttered.
Raelynn was breathing deeply as she and Alpha walked outside to shut off the implosion device
"AY-Yi-Yi-Yi-Yi!" Alpha exclaimed, stopping to look at it. "One wrong move and it's kapow!"
"That's reassuring," Raelynn mumbled to herself.
"First, we have to deactivate the main core of the implosion device," Alpha spoke.
Raelynn stood there, waiting for him to tell her to do something, but it seemed he was just muttering to himself
Alpha went about disabling the implosion with a device, he was shaking and very worried.
"Oh... talk about pressure," Alpha said, squeegee-ing the sweat off his visor. "There, that's much better."
Raelynn was doing absolutely nothing, and she felt as if Alpha was doing that on purpose. She assumed that the robot didn't trust her enough to be near a bomb.
The fuse kept moving towards the implosion device as Alpha held the cutters near the wire.
"You can do this, Alpha," Raelynn whispered, biting her lip worriedly.
"Now, just a quick snip," Alpha said. "Oh, AY-Yi-Yi! Here goes!"
When he snipped it he looked up and started cheering.
"I did it! I did it! We're saved! What a relief. Next time, I'll try it with my eyes open," Alpha commented, turning to Raelynn.
"You didn't have your eyes open?" Raelynn asked.
"Who cares, it worked!" Alpha cheered again, making Raelynn laugh.
The Rangers crowded around Billy and the mini viewing globe.
"Alpha, you made it!" Billy said, happily, making the others grin. "You defused the implosion device."
"Just barely, Billy," Alpha explained. "I made it by the solder of my circuit board."
"He did really well," Raelynn's small voice spoke up.
"We're still waiting for the Alien Rangers," Billy informed him.
"Don't worry, Rangers. They'll be there soon," Alpha encouraged them. "Everything is under control."
"Billy, Bulk and Skull are right behind you," Kat warned, as Bulk and Skull walked up from behind Billy, wearing swimming gear.
"So you see, light catches and reflects on various objects, sometimes creating a prism effect," Billy explained, holding the mini viewing globe in the as he acted like it was a prism. Jenna hoped Bulk and Skull were dumb enough to believe it, as the 'prism' was not even shaped like a prism.
"How interesting," Aisha said, playing along.
"How boring," Bulk corrected. "Off the beach, nerds. We have claim on this turf."
Jenna groaned loudly as Rito, Goldar and a group of Tengas appeared a few feet away.
"Oh, great! This is all we need!" Rocky complained.
"I don't know about you, Bulky, but I've had enough of being cool," Skull admitted.
"Right behind you, buddy-boy," Bulk agreed and they dropped some stuff as they fled the beach. Jenna rolled her eyes as she and the others got into defensive stances.
"Oh, no, not the little people again!" Rito whined.
"What's the matter, Rito?" Goldar mocked. "Afraid of a few children?"
"Oh! Hand over those coins?! You don't need them anymore," Rito tried to convince them.
"Forget it, Rito! You'll never get near them!" Tommy shouted, the group ran off and as the monsters chased them they grabbed some beach items that were on the ground.
"Let's go, let's go!" Adam yelled.
"Why you little… Get back here you little pipsqueaks?!" Rito called, as they chased them around.
"You heard him!" Goldar said.
"Let's get these guys!" Rocky said, and the kids began to throw all of the stuff from the ground at them, keeping them away.
"Heads up, Rito!" Tommy called, throwing a ball.
"Cut that out, will ya!" Rito cried as he and Goldar grumbled from being hit by beach toys. "Oh! Why you little brats! You think these toys are gonna save you? Huh?"
They turned to look when a loud noise came from the sky.
"What's that?" Rito wondered, looking up.
"Hey! Look at that!" Tommy exclaimed.
Jenna gaped as the Aquitian Rangers landed in front of them, close to the water.
"Huh?" Goldar and Rito questioned.
"Whoa!" The Rangers exclaimed in amazement. "Cool!"
"Hey, something's fishy about this," Rito said, as he, Goldar and the Tengas walked closer.
Delphine turned her head and gills flew out from the sides of her neck and her eyes glowed, making Rito and the others freak out.
"What in the..." Rito faltered.
"Uh... this doesn't look good," Goldar pointed out
"Pop's not gonna like this one bit," Rito whined.
The Aquitains did some fancy hand movements and blasted Rito and Goldar, kicking up dust and knocking them and the Tengas to ground.
"When the going gets tough, run away!" Rito cried, and he, Goldar and the Tengas disappeared, making the Aquitians end their attack.
The young Rangers met the Alien Rangers face to face.
"Welcome. Zordon sent us to meet you," Tommy greeted them. "I'm Tommy. We're the Power Rangers."
"Yes, I believe you are. I'm Delphine, leader of the Alien Rangers," Delphine did a half-bow thing with her hands.
"This is Corcus..." The one in black made the same gesture.
"Cestro..." Cestro gestured.
"Aurico..." The one wearing red then bowed.
"...and Tideus," The one in yellow bowed.
Jenna made a mental note to ask what their names meant because they were very unique and Jenna thought they were pretty.
"Aisha..." Aisha gave a small wave and grinned.
"Adam..." Adam smiled brightly.
"Jenna…"
"Nice to meet you," Jenna said, softly, as she grinned.
"Katherine..." Kat smiled and waved as well.
"Rocky..."
"Hey," Rocky said quietly, waving.
"...and Billy," Billy waved.
The Aquitians stepped closer to the Rangers, and began to poke and pat the Rangers curiously, making the young Rangers laugh.
Jenna giggled as Corcus patted her on the head and played with her pigtails.
"We'd better get home before our parents start to get worried," Tommy reminded the other Rangers.
Jenna sighed and shook her head.
"I'll bring Delphine and the rest of the Aquitians to the Command Center," Billy decided. "Tommy, will you make sure to tell my dad that I'll be a little late?"
"Sure thing," Tommy nodded.
"I'll go with you, Billy," Jenna told them.
"Shouldn't you get home, Jenna?" Aisha asked.
"I can't, at this point in time, I should be a baby, so my parents haven't adopted me yet," Jenna explained, and the Rangers nodded in understanding, while the Aquitians looked a little puzzled.
"Ok, come on, Jenna," Billy told her.
Once Billy and Jenna had brought the Aquitians to the Command Center, Jenna had been observing her power coin while Zordon explained the situation to the Alien Rangers.
"As you can see, our situation is grave. Until we are able to restore our Rangers to their original ages, we are powerless against Master Vile," Zordon explained.
"A most distressing situation," Delphine responded. "We shall do everything in our power to come to your aid."
"We also live by the sacred code of the Rangers. To destroy evil and protect all that is good," Cestro added.
"We can't tell you how much this means to all of us," Alpha told them.
"Putting your lives on the line, I wish there was something we can do," Billy sighed.
"But there is, Billy. You and the other human Rangers shall be our eyes and our ears as we accustom ourselves to this planet," Tideus told him.
The alarm went off, and the Aquitians held their heads and covered their ears in pain.
"I told you it was annoying, it's not just me who thinks it's headache inducing," Jenna muttered, shaking her head.
"AY-Yi-Yi! That's our alarm! Oh!" Alpha explained as he, Billy and Jenna walked towards the viewing globe. "It looks like we're about to be attacked by a large army of terrible monsters!"
"I've never seen quite so many mutants in one common area," Corcus admitted.
"AY-Yi-Yi! It's a whole platoon of goons out in the desert," Alpha explained.
"I am afraid, my alien friends, that it is time for action," Zordon said. "I only hope you can act in time."
While Alpha, Billy and Jenna worked on the computers, the Aquitians stood behind the three, learning everything about them.
"I've almost got the Aquitians fully briefed on our Ranger powers," Alpha informed Zordon.
"They'll definitely know everything there is to know about calling upon and handling our Zords," Billy added.
"Not to mention some extra information on some of the monsters that we've already faced," Jenna added.
"Excellent, but you must hurry," Zordon advised. "Time is running out."
"Zordon, my coin should still allow me to morph, I'll help the Alien Rangers," Jenna spoke up.
"Jenna, we don't know much about the coin, we don't know what going back in time has done to it," Zordon reminded her.
"I know, Zordon, I'm willing to take that risk," Jenna declared.
"Very well," Zordon agreed.
"Knowledge infusion is complete. We are ready to begin," Delphine declared.
"But I must caution you, you will be in a desert far from any body of water," Zordon revealed.
"Yes, Zordon," Delphine said. "And now... it's morphin time!"
"White Aquitar Ranger power!"
"Black Aquitar Ranger power!"
"Blue Aquitar Ranger power!"
"Yellow Aquitar Ranger power!"
"Red Aquitar Ranger power!"
"Allosaurus!" Jenna called, but as soon as she was in her suit, it started sparking.
"Jenna, power down, now!" Zordon ordered.
"Power down!" Jenna screamed, and she sagged, making Billy come up and hold onto her.
"Delphine, you and your team must go now," Zordon reminded them, and Delphine nodded and the Aquitar Rangers teleported out.
"Zordon, what happened to her?" Billy asked, helping Jenna to lean against a console, as she sat on the ground.
"The coin doesn't want you to morph, it rejected the ranger suit being out," Alpha explained, after scanning the coin.
"What does that mean?" Billy asked.
"It means that my coin controls what battles I fight, and it doesn't want me fighting this one," Jenna elaborated.
"Nothing like this has ever happened before, Jenna you are prohibited from morphing until Alpha can learn more about your coin," Zordon commanded. Jenna opened her mouth to protest, but Billy shook his head.
"He's right Jenna, a coin made by Rita is too unpredictable," Billy added, making Jenna huff, and stand up, moving to leave the main area.
Jenna walked into the little room, with two cots, one for her and for Raelynn. Since Raelynn had gone against her mother, Zordon had asked her to stay here, as Rita could be waiting to get revenge.
Once Zordon, Alpha and Raelynn had learned of how Jenna couldn't go home, Raelynn had insisted that Jenna room with her. It was already lonely being without your family, but the rooms under the command center were cold and uninviting.
Jenna was both excited and saddened by the situation. She really wanted to get to know Raelynn better, as the girl had been rather quiet since she defected from her mother. But on the other hand, ever since she was adopted, Jenna hadn't spent a single night not sleeping in her own bed. Occasionally Lily and Theo would come over for sleepovers, but she never went to their houses.
Jenna decided that this would work, she'd been alone before, and now she was alone with a friend, everything would be alright.
Jenna walked into the main room of the Command Center and saw the Aquitians and young rangers watching Bulk and Skull on the news.
"Uh... to those unknown heroes, all of Angel Grove thanks you," The newswoman said.
"And we thank you too," Rocky told them, as Jenna walked up beside them.
"I'm sure you would have done the same for us," Aurico nodded.
"Count on it!" Aisha agreed.
"I am not certain how long it will be before Alpha and I can turn the world back to its correct time," Zordon admitted.
"It's going to be one big job," Alpha added.
"I wish that we could say that we will stay on your planet indefinitely," Delphine spoke up. "However, our initial readings do not offer a positive outlook for an extended stay here."
"The atmosphere on Earth is extremely harsh and will not allow us to remain for very long," Cestro explained.
"Then we have to find a way to turn the Earth back as soon as possible," Billy realized.
"Hopefully without any interference from Rita and Zedd," Jenna added.
"And in the meantime, help the Aquitians survive on Earth," Tommy reminded, making the others nod.
Tommy held his hand out, and the other young Rangers, including Jenna, put their hands on top of one another.
"In the meantime, we've got to stick together," Tommy said, the Aquitians looked confused for a moment. Then Delphine and her team began to do the same, hesitantly. "From one Ranger to another, thank you for everything, and welcome to our planet."
"Power Rangers!" The Rangers all cheered, and some of the younger ones jumped up.
A/N:
Literally took me three days to write this, cause I already got writer's block :(
I know, I know, yall we're on chapter two and I'm already bullying Jenna again.
I just have a big picture of how Jenna's coin is glitching, that will one day in future stories make all of you want to punch me in the face. :)
ANYWAY RR, hope you enjoyed the story, and just a head up, I will actually have maybe one or two original chapters for this. I know it's a short series, but I want some episodes to focus mainly on Raelynn and Jenna, so I hope you'll like them!
Byebye!!!
