He had a name, the boy smiled, pleased his new master already seemed kinder then his former... he had a name, Harold Potter Stewart. SO POSH!!!

He even had a room, no more cupboard.

The Doctor, had explained to the boy, errrrr "Harold", that wasn't to... "play grownup games" until he was actually a grownup. Which was a major relief. Those games hurt.

The hospital that treated the boy, errr Harold, recommended his new master immediately fly them to a Morrow hospital. That specialize in bio-cybernetics. To make sure everything was operating correctly, after years of stress and no maintenance.

The new Master was concerned by the idea, but the cybernetics Doctor assured him such nanobots only need to be serviced once every 10 years. Sure, Harold was late, But not too an overly concerning degree.

The Doctor found a number of further nanite based implants. That were designed to grow with the boy. Through transmuting all food that isn't absorbed by the body... the fact the 11 year old, was as small as a 7 year old, was due to the nanites not receiving enough extra food to properly grow.

"He has synthetic organs... even a synthetic brain..."

"It's more then that... Harold. Mind waiting outside?"

The new master gently picked the child off the table, an set him on the floor. Giving him a kind pat on the shoulder. And an encouraging push towards the door.

"You can sit on the bench beside the door," The Doctor smiled... no one ever smiled at him...

Once the door was behind little Harold. The Doctor sighed. "I know why the child's relatives treated him as they did... why they apparently thought of the boy as subhuman... because technically... he is.

Sev glared at the man, "Just because Lily was a bio-android, doesn't mean her child is sub-human... nor herself."

"Lily? Oh!" The Doctor realized. "Christina's favorite avatar."

Snape just continued to glared.

The Doctor sighed, "Harold is only half organic. The rest of his body is made of nanobots. While it's true, Doctor Morrow insured bio androids would receive all rights and privileges of humans, long before he created the first one. They do face prejudice and cruelties, particularly from the religious.

"Harold may have a human father, but Bio androids were designed to breed with humans, and each other. They are all a nanite based skeleton, which preforms the functions of most organs. with cloned muscles and skin."

"I hadn't realized Lily did more then pass her nanobots to her son." Snape sighed.

"Her womb effectively cloned her husband, around a metal skeleton of her own nanites. Which were then disconnected and set up with their own network."

"Explains why I can't see any of Lily in the boy... besides his green eyes and red hair."

"Both of which are synthetic," The Doctor informed. "... if you don't think you can handle this, the Morrow foundation is willing to take custody of the child. Harold is hardly the first orphaned bio android. We have protocols. Just as we won't interfere if you still want the boy."

Snape tried not to be offended... and failed. "My best friend was a bio android. Do you really think I'd have an issue raising her child? Should be downright easy with how eager to please such children are."

Since Harold had a Synthetic brain, and Snape had the money, Sev decided to just upload the education the child was lacking. Giving him several Doctorates worth of knowledge.

With the certificates from the Uploads, actually being viewed by employers as better then a Doctorate. As it was all raw knowledge in that field... even obscure papers.

Schools also acknowledged the certificates, and didn't make the children take any classes from those fields of study.

Sev spent nearly half his savings, on a proper education for the boy.

Although Sev decided to keep him ignorant of Oasis based skills. So he could have something fun to learn at school... Or at least, that's what he told the Doctor. Truth was, it be cheaper for Harold to learn things the hard way... and he just couldn't afford to get the boy any extracurricular uploads.

The Boy's, errr Harold's, head was swimming. All those files, being uploaded into his head, felt amazing. He absorbed it greedily. Learning everything about the world he was allowed.

He even had files on social norms, gender politics, sociology, psychology, and even child development...

Then The Doctor deleted his trauma. He had a vague recollection of what he'd been through. Enough to keep his personality subroutines intact. But most of his actual memories were erased...

He remembered the cupboard... but it felt like a distant memory. He remembered his parents, but that felt like only yesterday... he remembered being loved.

"You alright little Harold?"

Harry... that's what he's parents called him, looked up at the man now his father... he remembered this man visiting... refusing to change his diapers, but doing it anyway. Spoiling him with high quality dark chocolate... so bitter and delicious. He remembered this man looking at him... with love. This man loved him.

He only stayed away to keep the bad men away... the ones from that extremist group... that hunted down Bio-Androids. Harry was everything they despised. A naturally born artificial lifeform. True, there were tens of thousands like him... and they wanted to kill them all.

But in this man's eyes... they were harsh then before, but the love was still there. Harry was loved. He was wanted... He was protected.

Tears began streaming down his eyes, as he remembered how to cry again. He had a family, a real family. Not a new Master, but a loving family.

Sev hugged the boy, it already had been explained to him. The process of erasing the boy's more traumatic memories, would make his more positive ones more apparent, and temporarily overwhelm him.

"It's alright Harold," Sev eased. "Its okay to cry."

The boy sniffled, "Call me 'Harry'."

Sev smiled. "Did anyone ever tell you the story, of how you got your name?"

"... I remember, it's all so clear... but I'd like to hear it from you... again..."

Sev couldn't stop himself from smiling. This was the brilliant 4 year old, he once visited multiple times a week. The inquisitive and sentimental child... who made a game out of getting him to smile.

"You're mother was quite the Nerd. She loved researching old fables from the 1990s and to early 2000s. She introduced me to a story, about a little boy who lived in a cupboard. Who was so special, his relatives feared him. Never noticing his gentle nature made that frankly idiotic.

"You're mother named you for that near hundred year old myth... it seems almost a cruel joke, you'd live a similar life. Never doubt you are special, Harry. And like that little boy, so long as you keep your kind heart... you will do great things."

Harry recalled the fable, that he made his parents read to him near every night... about a little boy... who lived in a cupboard... he had a vague memory of the sanctuary of his own cupboard... until his relatives turned it into a prison... the Spiders his only friends.

"Can i get a tarantula?" Harry suddenly asked.

Snape frowned at the abruptness.

"We have that in our exotic 'Robo-pets' line," spoke the Doctor, whom had never left the room. "For an additional 2000 credits, you can get the Guard Dog Model. It's about the size of a great dane, with stun weapons built in."

Sev paled at the idea of such a large spider... but the way little Harry's face lit up at the idea. with a sigh, Sev could already tell he was going to spoil the boy... but their was darker purpose to it. There were people hunting Harry. A robotic guard dog, that doubled as a plush friend, would be a wise purchase... which was what the Doctor was clearly thinking.

The cyberneticist might not know Harry was already on the Extremists radar... but he knew what dangers a bio android would face. Harry needed some kind of protection.

"Let's look at what models they have," Snape promised the boy.
