Harry was getting tired, so Snape suggested the boy ride on the Spider's back. Even if it was a short walk to the elevator, and down the hall to his condo.

Harry yawned, as his eyes drooped. He was powered by his organic parts' own bio-electricity. That did slowly drain as the day went on, and needed to recharge through sleeping and eating.

"Almost there," Snape assured, as they road the elevator.

Once the doors opened, and the spider stepped out, a man gave an unmanly shriek. Clutching his chest the man exclaimed, "That just might be the cutest thing to ever crawl out of my nightmares... Robo-pet?" the man's breathing slowly calmed.

His wife laughed, "He looks like an overgrown plushie. Why'd you shriek like a little girl?"

"I didn't shriek! Men don't shriek!"

"Looks like your shrieking put my charge too sleep," Snape smirked at his neighbors, as the boy was now laying on his belly, snoring cutely.

Snape then gave a brisk nod at the two. "Applejack, Master Chief." he acknowledged their favorite Avatars. Rarely calling them by their usernames, and certainly never their real names. He had permission, but he was just so proper. He would never allow himself to be so informal... Although his sarcastic wit was certainly a bit more biting then decorum allowed.

"I didn't know you babysat?" Jaclyn, who's favorite Avatar was the G4 Applejack, looked at him with unwanted calculations.

"I don't," Snape snorted at the thought. "This is my new ward, Harold."

"Oh i didn't recognize him, the spider is a bit distracting." Applejack smiled. She'd been acquainted with Sev for several years. Although she had no idea he used to work against cyber terrorism, in the Oasis. Not that he didn't trust her... she, and the Master Chief User, were his closest civilian friends... such knowledge was just classified.

Snape was only cleared to tell them, he used to be a "mod" for a large server. They thought Snape was joking, whenever he said "Classified".

They were often running into each other, in the laundry. Or the rec room, Where they were now, as the elevator was connected to it. Although the married pair, often invited Snape to join them on quests... Sev was a hell of a player for never having entered any competitive competition.

Snape really was, far too formal, but Jaclyn chocked that up to his aristocratic upbringing.

Sev was the bastard child of a noble, and a wealthy merchant's daughter. They might not have married, as Snape was the result of a one night stand, but they were friendly with each other. And both parents remained important figures in Snape's life.

The Noble was now Lord of the territory, with a wife and heir of his own... but he still loved Snape, and visited him regularly. Snape even grew up feeling no different then his half brother. There was no room for resentment there.

While the Lord's public Avatar was Superman... his private Avatar was Lord Voldemort. For no other reason then he found it funny... that man had a weird sense of humor.

Applejack had played with The noble several times. Due to him wanting to get to know Snape's friends. Snape was in his mid 30s now, but all the noble saw was the shy little boy, skinned knees and black eyes, from being bullied by the more proper aristocrats, at his private school... the man was a loving and extremely overprotective father... if not a touch overbearing, due to the bullying...

Snape's younger brother grew up with a different problem. With everyone trying to suck up to him, he had no true friends. Surrounded by sycophants, that only wanted to use and discard him... with Snape the only other child that actually looked out for him.

Oh they had their rough patches, and phases where the youngest Stewart, thought he was too good for his illegitimate half brother... but That goes as a matter of course with family, and never lasted long enough to permanently insult the other.

Snape's family was unorthodox, but there was definitely love there... it helped Snape wasn't born out of an affair. But rather a foolish night from rebellious teenagers. So his later wife wasn't threatened by Snape, and was a loving step mother.

Applejack imagined Snape's family would have worried with the man, for suddenly taking on a child... but they would gladly accept the boy as their first grandchild... bio Android and all.

The pony user had met Harry before... back when Snape did babysit... back before most of his clan died real world deaths... back before her husband and herself even realized their feelings for each other... back before Snape introduced them.

The point is, Jaclyn recognized the boy. She knew him from a time Snape smiled more... and frankly she thought him dead, with his parents. Snape never mentioned he had lived passed the last night she'd ever seen him cry...

Part of her was worried, Snape might have cloned his friends in a new bio android child. Hopefully it was something like recovered memory files, and not just copying and aging up the boy's face. Whatever it was, Jaclyn was sure Snape's only answer would be "Classified".
