This was inspired by several Naruto/GX stories in particular Shinobi of Duel Academy by windstorm16.

DO NOT expect a chapter this quick again. I had most of this planned out when I wrote chapter 1 so that is why it is here now. This is just fun on my day off so that is why you guys get an update.
Future chapters will probably be shorter.
I am bolding all the names of the card themselves. Do you think I should continue that trait? Also please tell me if you like the format I use for cards in hands and field.
What did you think of the duel and the format I used? I wont reveal every card everyone uses all then time I just though I might try it once or twice.
I think this is probably the LONGEST chapter of any one of my stories!
Chapter 2 Naruto is not just his last name
Naruto had decided to explore the island itself and luckily despite his notable blonde hair and blue eyes most people were too worried about the Exams to realize who Naruto was.
'Hehe if I actually got Dad's odd hair colour, I would never be able to go anywhere.' Naruto though with dread. His dad's hair was unique and he was the only one who had it so people assumed anyone who happened to have must be related to Yugi Muto himself. Naruto's blonde hair and blue eyes was different compared to a lot of people but not so out there that people instinctively made the connection at first glance.
He got to learn by just chatting to people (omitting his last name when asked) that Duel Academy was structured so students stayed there for 4 years and then had the option of choosing what path in life they wanted to take with some notable graduates becoming Pro Duelists.
Naruto chuckled to himself when he was alone.
'To think this place has evolved where a simple card game matters more then armies of people duking it out with each other. I think He would have loved to grow up here.' Naruto thought as an imagine of a middle-aged man with white hair and a huge grin did the peace sign in his mind. AN2:
Naruto eyes glanced of a girl in Duel Academy outfit trimmed in blue with a blue mini skirt walked past chatting with her 3 friends that also wore the same outfit.
As they walked past him his eyes glanced for a brief moment to where the skirts needed and the amount of legs shown before their blue boots capped their feet.
'Yup he would love it here for more then peace.' Naruto thought drily before he shook his head in amusement.
'Sure, Big Sis Mai wears a lot skimpier outfits in public but she does so to impress and show what she has. These girls are wearing this as part of the mandated outfit and nobody bats an eye.' Naruto thought as Mai appeared in his mind with a wink leaning forward as she smirked at him.
Naruto was lost in thought until he happened to bump into somebody as he heard a grunt.
"Sorry I was lost in thought." Naruto apologized until he heard a familiar chuckle.
"I guess that makes two of us. Son." Yugi said warmly as Naruto blinked to see his father in rather casual dark clothing and his deck on his hip.
"Dad? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked startled to see his father walking out and about like him.
Yugi gave a smile as he looked up into the air thoughtfully.
"Your mother was so worried about you no matter how many times I told her this island is safe I needed some time to collect my thoughts." Yugi admitted as Naruto gave a nervous chuckle.
It was well known to Yugi and his friends that Tea was incredibly protective of Naruto to the point where even Yugi thought it was abit excessive.
Naruto and Yugi shared a laugh until a sigh could be heard from Naruto's deck.
Naruto pulled his deck out of his pocket till one card glowed.
He carefully and quickly pulled out Dark Magician Girl card out and with a flash of light she manifested in her beautiful glory.
She was slightly shorter than Naruto and Yugi and was wearing her signature Magician's outfit that revealed a fair bit of skin including her shoulders, top of her large breasts and her thighs and most of her legs. Her outfit was both light blue and pink with some gold parts as well. Her blonde hair framed her pretty face and green eyes.
Naruto personally thought she looked like a knockout which she always seemed to find a way to tease him about.
She stretched for a moment before giving Naruto a tight hug pressing Naruto chest against her own in a tight hug as she sighed happily. Naruto blushed for abit before continuing the hug as Yugi just smiled.
After a few minutes Dark Magician Girl or as she liked to be Mana pulled away from Naruto before giving a bow of respect to Yugi.
"Yugi! I hope you doing good?" Mana asked brightly to her former owner.
Yugi nodded "I am doing very well. Do you like being with Naruto? Does he use you often?" he asked kindly as he knew his former card especially liked being in duels with Naruto.
Mana winked as Naruto rubbed his head.
Yugi had learned this was the Actual Dark Magician Girl Duel Spirit of Mana who was Atem's childhood friend.
Flashback to shortly after Naruto is born
As Yugi's friends and family was watching over and cooing over his newborn son he felt his deck his deck gives off a strong power similar to when he used Timaeus so he excused himself and went off to an empty room and pulled out his deck.
One card was flashing so he pulled it out and then a bright light appeared blinding him for a second.
When he regained his focus, he saw someone he never thought outside a duel.
"Dark Magician Girl?" Yugi asked in surprise as the Duel spirit gave him a kind smile along with a wink and peace sign.
"How's it going Yugi?" Dark Magician Girl asked playfully as Yugi opened his mouth a few times trying to process this.
"How are you here? Didn't you and the Legendary Knights return to the Domain of the beasts and Duel Spirit World?" Yugi asked rather incredulously as he vividly remembered along with Atem seeing the Duel Spirits after they helped beat Dartz and the Great Leviathan.
Dark Magician Girl giggled and waved at him cutely.
"Silly that wasn't me that left." Dark Magician Girl said as Yugi looked confused still. "Here let me explain. That Dark Magician Girl who helped you defeat Dartz was a Duel Spirit from 10 000 years ago and she did leave to go back to her world. I was the Ka or as you know Duel Spirit of Mana." Dark Magician Girl explained as Yugi looked at her in understanding. AN3:
"Okay that makes sense but if you are Mana's Duel Spirit shouldn't you have moved on with her and Atem?" Yugi asked as Dark Magician Girl blushed.
"Yeah Atem and Mana are kinda…. Happy to see each other after 5000 years apart and you know…." Dark Magician Girl said awkwardly as she looked away from Yugi.
"Oh… You mean they are together…?" Yugi asked not that surprised as even in the memory world he could see Mana and Atem had a very special bond…
"Master Mahad has gone on ahead of me with them." Dark Magician Girl mentioned subtly avoiding confirming Yugi's question.
Dark Magician Girl looked back at Yugi with a thoughtful expression putting her hand on her chin.
"Besides I felt my role here on Earth was not yet done but I could not figure it out so I kept my spirit in your card till now." Dark Magician Girl explained before she looked past Yugi into the room where Naruto was sleeping.
"Wait. You mean my son has a role to play for you?" Yugi asked protectively as Dark Magician Girl smiled at his fatherly protection.
"I am sure your son will love dueling like his father so when it is time give him my card and we shall see what the future hold together." Dark Magician Girl said gasping a hand over her heart.
Yugi thought for a moment before nodding
Back to present
Yugi had kept his promise and given Naruto his copy of the Dark Magician Girl who instantly bonded with Naruto and vice versa.
Dark Magician Girl had quickly gotten annoyed at her formal title being used by Naruto so they agreed when it was them talking, she would be called Mana to honour her master who was no longer with them.
Mana looked at Yugi's deck with a head tilt for a moment before looking at Yugi thoughtfully.
"Hmm I don't sense Winged Kuriboh in your deck anymore." Mana noted as Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"Didn't you just get him recently?" Naruto asked as Yugi chuckled.
When Winged Kuriboh was added to Yugi's deck the Spirit of Kuriboh was all mad and as Naruto lovingly called it 'a furball fight' happened with each Kuribohs rather cutely tried to get dominance over the other in Yugi's deck.
Yugi had a fond smile as he remembered a brown-haired boy about Naruto's age passing by.
"I had a gut feeling that Winged Kuriboh belonged with another young man I passed by. His honest spirit and personality made me think he would treat him right." Yugi admitted as Naruto whistled.
"Must be one hell of a person for the all powerful 'King of Games' to favour him with a card from his own deck." Naruto joked as Yugi gave him a fake scowl and mock frown.
Father and son shared a laugh until Mana coughed getting their attention.
"Naruto aren't you suppose to going to the Practical Exam now?" Mana asked as Naruto eyes widened before he checked his phone.
"Shoot! I am late!" Naruto shouted as he quickly ran back to the building where he was supposed to go.
Yugi just quietly walked back and mumbled "Maybe Tea did have a right to worry about our son…"
Naruto sprinted back to the room quickly only to see a duel was happening.
A feminine looking older man with blonde hair and superior attitude with a brown hair teen who still had a smile on his face as if dueling was enough for him to survive off.
"So Mr. Yuki did you intend to surrender?" Dr. Crowler asked mockingly already judging Jaden Yuki as a 'slacker'. Doctor Crowler uniquely had his duel disk attached to his stomach instead of his left hand like most duelists.
Crowler had 3000 life points, 2 cards in his hand and Ancient Gear Golem (3000/3000) on the field.
Jaden Yuki had Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) on his field along with 3 cards in his hand.
Naruto quickly noticed this was probably a lecture hall due to the sheer size of the room and the fact that there was countless rows of connecting desks which would likely be used for lectures of studying.
'Hmm so Doctor Crowler is using Ancient Gear monsters huh. Pure power and attack force as they can penetrate through defensive monsters to inflict damage and have the ability to shut off spell and trap cards when they attack.' Naruto thought since he knew a lot of archetypes and their general themes. He looked over Crowler side.
Naruto was leaning hidden in the tunnel to get to the duel arena so nobody could see him but he could hear everyone and see the duelists.
He glanced over to Jaden side and side the female Elemental hero.
'Jaden must be using that fusion heavy Elemental Hero archetype I heard about. Low attack monsters but big rewards when they fuse together.' Naruto mused before remembering what Seto and Yugi and to say about that archetype.
Seto dismissed the archetype as being too reliant on fusions and commented the cards alone were fairly weak on their own. Yugi had a more positive feeling commenting that the cards complimented themselves and had many support cards. AN4:
Mana had returned to her card while Naruto was running but she could still telepathically talk to Naruto in her card form.
"Naruto." Mana thought to him.
"Hmm?" Naruto thought back.
"I sense Winged Kuriboh in Jaden's deck or more specifically his graveyard." Mana told him as Naruto nodded with some respect.
'So, this is the person dad bumped into. He must be something special if a card spirit wanted to go with specifically.' Naruto mused missing the irony of Mana picking him specifically to be with.
"Nah teach. I am just getting my game on!" Jaden exclaimed confidently as he glanced at his hand.
'Perfect just the cards I need to turn this around.' Jaden thought as he had
The Warrior Returning alive (normal spell),
Polymerization (normal spell)
and the newly drawn Skyscraper (field Spell).
"This is for you Winged Kuriboh." Jaden declared quietly which nobody besides Naruto caught who had a soft smile on his face.
"Ok here goes. I am going to bring back Avian back to my hand with the Warrior Returning alive!" Jaden announced as he activated the spell card.
The warrior returning alive (normal spell)
- Target one 'warrior type' monster in your graveyard. Add the Target to your hand.
Jaden promptly selected Avian and added to his hand before summoning him in attack mode.
Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) stood proudly alongside his fire companion against the much bigger Ancient Gear Golem.
"Very impressive but another amateur mistake." Crowler mocked.
"On their own they are weak but together they are strong!" Jaden declared before he he revealed in his hand Polymerization.
"Now Fusion Avian and Burstinatrix together to Fusion Summon!" Jaden said as his two heroes hovered in the air before dissolving into particles which recombined to form one monster.
"Say hello to the Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!" Jaden shouted (2100/1200) as his new normal shouted at Crowler.
Polymerization(normal spell card).
-Send to the graveyard monsters from your hand and/or field monsters listed in a Fusion Monster requirement. Fusion Summon one Fusion Monster.
"That's more like it! Go Jaden!" Syrus cheered on as Naruto peeked up and saw in the stands a short blue haired boy with glasses cheering on Jaden.
"Yes Good show but unfortunately even fused together the Wingman is still 1000 points short to topple the Ancient Gear Golem." Bastion said as Naruto saw a young man with a professional look and silver jumpsuit.
"Shame too because The Wingman has the ability to deal damage to the opponent equal to the destroyed monster attack points whenever it wins in battle." Bastion said glumly as Syrus eyes widened.
"Right out of their life points?! That would have turned the deal around for Jaden." Syrus noted.
Back on the field Crowler still had a condescending look despite being mildly impressed Jaden could actually summon a high level monster in the first place.
"Are you done yet? I am still rather busy." Crowler asked in annoyance.
Jaden still had a confident smirk. "Of course not! I knew Wingman was still too weak so I have this card!" Jaden declared as the field spell card slot on his duel desk flipped allowing a slot to be revealed.
"Skyscraper!" Jaden announced as the Virtual Solid effects activated changing the field as the spell activated. Suddenly a dozen skyscrapers appeared around Crowler and Jaden with the Wingman stranding on top of the highest one in contemplation. It even changed the scenery to night with a moon in the distance.
"Now Wingman show that tin bucket what you can do!" Jaden announced as the Wingman grunted before leaping off the Skyscraper and flying towards the Ancient Gear Golem.
Crowler smirked and raised his arms as if to welcome the attack.
"Go on! That silly Skyscraper has not lowered the attack strength of my Golem by a single point." Crowler taunted as it was shown that Golem still had 3000 attack points.
Wingman began to pick up speed even moving fast enough to have two after imagines before it stopped right before Gear Golem landing at its feet before jumping off and flying above it again.
"You're right my Skyscraper doesn't lower the power of your Golem but it does raise the power of my Wingman by 1000!" Jaden revealed as Wingman attack points rose to 3100.
Wingman began his descent and turned itself into fire flying itself at the Ancient Gear Golem.
"Time out!" Crowler shouted in shock.
Wingman successfully nosedived the Golem and caused a massive explosion on impact as several prominent students looked on in shock. (Chazz, Bastion, Syrus, Alexis and Zane) while Naruto just smirked.
The smoke cleared revealing that Wingman had returned to Jaden's side.
Crowler began to fuss and claim it was impossible before a part of the Golem's hand bumped him on the head.
Crowler life points 3000-100=2900
"And because of my Wingman's secret power your Golem's attack points come out your life points. Pretty cool huh?" Jaden said as he pointed his index finger at Crowler who looked up in terror.
His Golem was still there but promptly broke apart into pieces which fell over and buried Crowler in the rubble.
Crowler life points 2900-3000= -100= 0.

"And that's game! I guess I passed the test huh Teach?" Jaden asked as he gave a signature pose with a wink.
This get cheers from everyone in the stadium while Naruto clapped from his hidden spot.
'That Jaden is sure is something. I can see why dad saw potential in him.' Naruto thought approvingly.
After the Virtual effect wore off Crowler got up and mumbled under his breath "There is no way I lost! Not to this delinquent!"
Chazz with his lackey/friends looked shocked at the turn around claiming it was dumb luck.
Alexis gave an approving nod from her spot resting on the rails from the top of the stadium.
"Hmm He has a future here." Alexis mused as she looked to her friend Zane who merely grunted before he started to walk off.
Syrus was opening cheering Jaden on while Bastion smiled pleased with the result.
"At least today is over and there are no more students." Crowler grumbled before a proctor came up to him.
"Actually, sir there is one more." He said as everyone stopped and stared in shock.
"I don't care! If they are late, I don't care who this nobody is!" Crowler hissed.
'Oh boy now here it comes.' Naruto thought as he knew what was about to happen.
"NOBODY!" a voice said from the intercoms as everyone looked around for the source of the voice.
"That voice… could he actually be broadcasting to us?' Bastion thought in shock.
"I do not believe I would pick a nobody as my Godson." Seto Kaiba's voice said coldly as a massive hologram appeared in the middle of the dueling arena.
The screen showed Seto in a suit and despite sitting in a desk you could see his fists clenched and a cold fury on his face despite his calm voice.
"Mr. Kaiba!" Crowler shouted before he got on his knees.
"Pardon my rudeness! What an honour it is to have your presence at our luxurious school." Crowler claimed trying to butter the man who owned the school and hence his job.
"Doctor Crowler I have heard several disturbing rumours about you. Like the fact you seem to fail potential students based on non sensible reasons like "He failed to address as Professor." According to one of the reports." Seto said with narrowed eyes as Crowler started to sweat.
'Shoot! I didn't think rich people like Kaiba actually read reports or that they even made it into his hands!' Crowler thought in terror.
"However, I am in a good mood right now." Seto claimed as he leaned forward.
"I wish to see my Godson duel so I will overlook the reports for today." Seto announced as several gasps could be heard.
Crowler was about to make a lame excuse like that late students had no time to waste time or resources from the teachers at Duel Academy but Seto cut him off.
"If my Godson does not get to prove his deck today, I might have to start to look over the budget again and make let say cut backs starting with the Blue dorm." Seto said with an underlying threat as Crowler sweated even more. AN5:
'Shit! If I fail him without a test, Kaiba will have my job! Oh well I don't care what his last name is NOBODY makes a fool out of Doctor Crowler! I will simply beat him and use that as reason not to let him in!' Crowler realized from his current situation.
Crowler got off his knees and bowed 'graciously' to his host before he took a microphone.
"Well today is a treat indeed. I decided to make an exception today allow one more duel to happen today. Will Naruto Muto please come to the Dueling Arena now for your Practical Dueling exam!" Crowler announced as if it was his idea and it was his 'gracious' nature that allowed this to happen not a threat from Seto Kaiba himself.
As Naruto stepped out of the shadows he could already start the excited whispering associated with his fathers name.
"That's him!"
"The son of King of Games is here!"
"I wonder if he could get his mom's autograph for me!"
Were several of the whispers he heard as he felt his eye twitch at the last one.
'Can't kill any of them for hitting on mom.' Naruto thought to himself to calm his anger.
Naruto soon stepped in front of Crowler and did a polite bow which Crowler reluctantly mirrored.
Syrus was gasping at seeing the King of Game own child here at the Academy as a potential student.
'This is certainly unexpected. Naruto Muto is said to be easily as strong as a Pro duelist and only his parent's insistence he goes here first is why he is not a registered Pro Duelist yet.' Bastion thoughts having heard the rumours about Yugi's famous but elusive child.
Chazz with his lackeys were trying to pretend they didn't care.
"Yeah this guy has a family name but I bet he is just a poser. Right Chazz?" a Obelisk Blue boy said as the other lackey nodded.
"Yeah I bet Crowler beats him in one turn." Chazz announced.
Alexis looked over at Naruto fit and muscular form and whistled before she glanced at Zane.
"Well he looks certainly handsome enough to be famous." Alexis remarked as Zane raised an eyebrow.
"Let's see if the kid has the kids to back up the name." Zane replied coolly.
Crowler and Naruto stepped back several feet before their Duel Disks activated.
"Duel!" They both shouted.
Crowler life points 4000

"Mr. Muto please make the first move." Crowler declared in fake politeness as Naruto resisted rolling his eyes.
"Right here goes." Naruto said as he drew a card. (Emergency Provisions)

"I summon Skilled Dark Magician in attack mode!" Naruto declared after a moment of thought.
Skilled Dark Magician (1900/1700) appeared in front of Naruto with a staff out.
"Plus, I place 3 cards face down. For later." Naruto added before 3 cards appeared in his spell and trap zone. (Scapegoat) (Mirror Force) (Emergency Provisions)
"I end my turn." Naruto stated ending his turn.
In stands
"Good show. Naruto certainly off to a solid start." Bastion mentioned as Syrus nodded.
"Yeah, I heard if that Skilled Dark Magician gets 3 Spell counters, he can trade himself for the real Dark Magician!" Syrus said excitedly.
"True but I wonder if Crowler will let it live long enough." Bastion thought ominously.
Back with Crowler
"My turn!" Crowler said dramatically.
"I activate the spell card Card Destruction! So sorry if you had any good cards in your hand." Crowler said with mock sorrow.
Card Destruction (normal spell card)
-Both Players discard every card in their hands to the graveyard. Both Players draw cards equal to the normal discarded.
Naruto grunted as he tossed out Obnoxious Celtic Guard and Breaker to draw 2 cards.
While Crowler discarded 5 cards to draw 5 cards.
'Looks like we are going to have no more new students this year!' Crowler thought gleefully.
"First I activate Pot of Greed!"Crowler stated.
Pot of Greed(normal spell card)
-draw 2 cards.
A green pot appeared and on Crowler Duel Disk draw 2 appeared which Crowler happily picked up.
"Now I activate Monster Reborn to bring back Trojan Horse!"
Monster Reborn
-select one monster from either player's graveyard. Special Summon that target on your side of field in face up attack or defence.
Trojan Horse(1600/1200)
-This card can be treated as two monsters for a tribute summon of an earth type monster
"He would only bring back that monster." Alexis noted.
"If he wished to tribute it as it was a special summon." Zane said with a smirk.
"Now I offer my Trojan Horse as a sacrifice to summon my all-powerful Ancient Gear Golem!" Crowler shouted as his horse neighed before vanishing.
In its place the massive Ancient Gear Golem appeared and glared down at Naruto who looked coolly at it.
Ancient Gear Golem(3000/3000)
"Wow Crowler summoned Ancient Gear Golem on his first turn!" A Ra Yellow student shouted in excitement.
"However, Mr. Muto for such a guest I cannot simply summon one of my ace monsters I must summon THE ace monster of my deck!" Crowler announced as Naruto eyes narrowed.
"From my hand I activate Polymerization to fuse my Ancient Gear Golem, Ancient Gear Knight and Ancient Gear Soldier from my hand!" Crowler shouted as a light appeared from his duel disk.
"He is really summoning his ace. A monster whose attack power rival Seto Kaiba's own Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" Zane said in amazement.
"Behold! My Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!" Crowler announced gleefully as an even more massive Gear monster appeared next to its Golem brother.
Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem (4400/3400)
-"Ancient Gear Golem" + 2 "Ancient Gear Monsters"
-Must be fusion Summoned
-It can inflicting piecing damage of monsters in defence mode.
-When it attacks opponent cannot activate spell or trap cards till end of damage step
-If this card is destroyed you can summon One "Ancient Gear Golem" ignoring Summoning conditions from your graveyard.
Crowler no longer had any cards in his hand but now had two power house monsters able to attack Naruto's lone monster.
"Wow Crowler really is pulling out all the stops." Alexis remarked now slightly worried.
"Oh course. I wonder how Naruto Muto will pull through as those Golems stop traps and spells when they attack?" Zane asked amused.
"Now my Golem attack that magician with Mechanized Pummel!" Crowler shouted as his Golem did its work.
It punched its massive fist at Magician who stood no chance against it dealing 1100 points of damage to Naruto.
Naruto life points- 4000-1100 = 2900
Naruto grunted and quickly activated a spell card unseen to the others.
"Now Mr. Muto I hope your brief stay here. I am sure you would have made a wonderful student if you were not late however its over now!" Crowler said with a sigh before a massive grin appeared on his face.
"Now Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem attack! Ultimate Ancient Pummel!" Crowler announced as his second Gear Golem raised his fist at Naruto as everyone was on the edge of their seats.
The fist collided as a massive amount of smoke appeared.
When the smoke cleared it revealed Naruto still active duel desk and his life point gauge.
Naruto's life points= 500 points
Zane's eyes widened in a rare display of shock.
"Naruto still in this?" Alexis asked in disbelief.
"How is this possible?" Syrus asked with relief.
"Wait! Look at Naruto's side of the field!" Bastion shouted and pointed as everyone focused and saw a spell card active.
"Impossible! My Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem shut downs spell and trap cards!" Crowler exclaimed suspiciously,
"Not quite. They only shut my spells and traps down during their attacks. I can still use them after and in between your attacks." Naruto pointed out with a huff before he stood up.

Crowler gasped for a moment before an impressed look appeared.
"Very impressive Mr. Muto. I end my turn." Crowler said as other students started chatting about Naruto's last maneuver.
"That was awesome! Great job!" Jaden shouted happily.
"Yes that was very impressive to use that gap between attacks to get between their effects." Bastion praised as Syrus nodded.
"However now Naruto is a bind. Those Golems do piercing damage so if Naruto has a solid defence his life points won't be safe either way." Bastion commented grimly as Syrus gasped.
"That was quick thinking on Naruto's part." Alexis said impressed leaning back and crossing her arms underneath her ample bosom.
Zane grunted "Let see if he can have a comeback next turn or there won't be another one." Zane declared as Alexis nodded.
"Okay my turn again. Gotta make it count." Naruto noted as he drew a card.

"Okay I need some luck so here goes. Heart of the cards guide me." Naruto whispered using the mantra of his father and Atem.
"I place 2 cards facedown." Naruto declared.
"Then I activate the spell card Card of Demise which allows me draw till I am holding 5 cards!" Naruto announced.
Card of Demise (normal spell card) AN7:
-draw cards until your hand has 5 cards. During the 5th Standby phase after activating this card discard all cards in your hand.
A guillotine appeared above Naruto's hand as he drew 5 cards since he didn't have any when activating Card of Demise.
"Of course I need to discard my hand in 5 turns but it won't last that long." Naruto noted as he peeked at his hand and got a giggle in return making him smile.
"Now I reveal my facedown Pot of Greed card!" Naruto announced as it flipped over showing a green pot like the one Crowler used earlier.
"Now I draw two cards." Naruto said as his hand grew to 7.
'Perfect now to end this.' Naruto thought.
"Now I activate from my hand. Poison of the Old Man! And I choose to gain 1200 life points back." Naruto announced.
Naruto life points- 500+1200 =1700
"Hmm not much it will do you my young friend. Hardly enough to taste on." Crowler mocked before he saw Naruto smirk.
"I activate my other down card. Dark magic Veil!" Naruto revealed as a dark circle appeared on his field. It had a complicated star formula and glowed purple.
Dark Magic Veil (normal spell card)
-Pay 1000 life points. Summon one Dark Spellcaster monster from your hand or graveyard.
"That is why he regained life points! He needed them to play his veil card!" Crowler stated in realization.
"Now from my hand I summon the all powerful and unique: Dark Magician Girl!" Naruto shouted as the circle glowed ever brighter now.
"What?!"
"Dark Magician Girl!"
"Impossible!"
"She is the cutest card in existence!"
"Please Marry me Dark magician Girl!"
Were various students shouting in anticipation.
The circle expanded before it faded away as a figure in darkness APPEARED in front of Naruto's side of the field.
The figure was clearly female due to her height and curves. A light appeared from her body as she materialized. Her left hand showing her pink and blue sleeves appeared, then her right arm showing her staff and the same sleeves appeared. Then her thighs and skirt were revealed as she glowed with power. Then her pretty blonde face with her sorcerer hat and green eyes appeared before sparkles and hearts appeared as she spun around before her entire form was illuminated. (think of her first summoning in Yugioh)
She puffed out her chest and giggled before she winked completing her summoning as nearly the entire MALE audience shouted and cheered when she appeared. She looked around started to wave the crowd making the shouting even louder for several minutes as the beautiful duel spirit took in her fans praise with a smile.
While this was happening, Bastion was speaking in astonishment. "Incredible I thought only the King of Games had the Dark Magician Girl in his deck but I guess his son has her too." Bastion remarked to Syrus only to see Syrus hanging over the railing trying to get the Dark Magician Girl attention making Bastion chuckle nervously.
Zane was unaffected by the appearance of the Monster but did face palm at his little brother's reaction. Alexis whistled impressed that such a monster actually existed who was both cute and sexy at the same time.
Mana twirled before she turned to Naruto with a kiss in the air and wink as she settled into place.
Dark Magician Girl (2000/17000)
"Okay now I will finish this! I activate the spell card~~~" Naruto claimed before getting cut off as to the shock of everyone except Naruto Dark Magician Girl actually hovered behind Naruto and appeared to 'grab' the spell card Naruto was about to use in her hand preventing him from using it.
She pouted and put her other hand on her hip in disapproval making her even seem even more beautiful.
Naruto gave her an amused smile as he let go of the spell card he was about to use and let her point at one.
Naruto nodded as she beamed at him before going back into place much to the confusion of the crowd.
Nobody except Jaden (due to having Winged Kuriboh) thought Dark Magician Girl was doing anything and thought it must be a glitch in the Kaiba corp gaming data service.
"Sorry I activate this card instead! Dark Burning Attack! This allows my Dark Magician Girl to destroy all your monsters right away!" Naruto declared as he inserted the spell card into his duel desk.
Dark Burning attack (normal spell card)
-If you control Dark Magician Girl destroy face up monsters your opponent controls.
Mana gave a shout as her staff created a dark red orb of power with purple and black electricity flowing into it.
"Now get them!" Naruto shouted as Mana waved her staff making the orb collide with Crowler monsters.
A massive explosion of dark magical power appeared as both of Golems groaned before exploding.
"Hmph! Very impressive but not good enough! I activate my Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem effect! If its destroyed I can summon an Ancient Gear Golem from my graveyard!" Crowler revealed.
An Golem game back as Naruto smirked.
"Now from my hand I activate Tribute of the Doom! Now by discarding one card I get to destroy your revived Golem and send it right back to the graveyard!" Naruto said as he activated the spell card and discarded a card.
Several bandages appeared below the Golem as it groaned before it got dragged into the ground and back into the Graveyard.
Crowler shouted in fear as he was now defenceless.
"Now so my Dark Magician Girl can finish this! I play my final spell card Excalibur!" Naruto revealed as Mana's staff disappeared only for a sword to appear in her hand as she swung it several times.
Excalibur (continuous spell card)
-One monster you control doubles its attack points. Skip Draw Phrases. If you draw a card or if the monster that receives this effect is removed from field destroy this card.
Dark Magician Girl (4000/1700) level 6
"Now Mr. Muto we can talk this over. No need to be hasty." Crowler pleaded seeing the buffed up girl was now powerful enough to wipe him out in one attack.
He only saw Naruto and Mana's dark smiles as they shook their heads.
"Now my lovely magician please show him your magic. End this now! Sword of Dark Burning Attack!" Naruto shouted.
Mana screamed loudly as she channelled her magic to her new sword before thrusting forward releasing the magic as a beam of power that collided with Crowler as he screamed.
"No!" Crowler screamed in pain before he collapsed.
Crowler life points 4000-4000 -0 life points.
AN2: I think for ANY fans of Naruto they could easily tell who Naruto is thinking of.
AN3: this is my head canon for season 4 and 5 of the Yugioh series. Who knows maybe they really are the same spirit but for the purposes of my story they are different. Season 4 DMG was 10 000 years ago while Mana's DMG was 5 000 years ago (I use the dub for ages). I think the DMG sprit who appears in GX might be another alliteration of her but it could be the same one for all I know.
AN4: I totally think Seto and Yugi would have those feelings for her Hero archetype.
AN5: Like I implied in chapter 1 Seto will always claim he sees Naruto as an 'investment' but he really does care about his future. He just say it of course.
AN6: He ditched them to save his life points and against Ancient Monsters they would be useless.
AN7: I am using the anime effect. Screw the TCG/OCG version!
