This was inspired by several Naruto/GX stories in particular Shinobi of Duel Academy by windstorm16.

READING THE FOX SCROLL was taken down on June 24/2021(Thursday). I added a link to its new home on my wattpadd. I used the original docs (hence the Ans) but the format is a bit different due to the different site.
I also recently made an Archive of Our own account (redlox2) but not a fan of the formatting (it took my paragraphing spacing away) so not sure I will post anything on there besides maybe lemons.
Also, I guess it the one year for this story! Happy Later birthday Naruto Muto! I have been watching a lot of Yugioh and Yugioh GX (easily the best two seasons) so I got some inspiration. I watch them dub. Hate me if you want but I grew up with the dub and will defend them.
I don't plan to use very much from the Yugioh GX manga besides a few cards and maybe characters as I liked the anime a lot better (I have read the GX manga just for giggles).
Probably my best chapter for this story so far! Enjoy!

Chapter 4 Slifer Red is not so lame
"Bro! Looks like we will dorm mates!" Jaden exclaimed excitedly as he wore his new Slifer Red jacket with pride.
"Indeed. I hope we can be good friends Jaden." Naruto replied with a smile as his new jacket was mostly black but had red sleeves to show his Dorm colours.
"Of course! Yugi is my role model! I mean he is the King of Games!" Jaden said with a wide grin before he gave Naruto a challenging look.
"But don't think just cause you are his son you will be the next King of Games! That title is mine!" Jaden declared as he raised a hand up as Naruto shrugged.
"I never claimed I would be the next King of Games but best of luck Jaden." Naruto told him as he climbed into the helicopter which would lead them to the actual dorm.
"Oh and Bastion was it? I am sure we will duel in the future." Naruto added as the startled Ra Yellow widened his eyes before a smirk appeared.
"I should hope so. I plan to fully map out a deck just for you when the time comes." Bastion said as Naruto just waved.
Naruto took the elevator with the other Slifer's Jaden and Syrus with the latter barely able to talk to Naruto without stuttering.
'Confidence issues huh?' Naruto thought with a sigh.
'But he seems like to be friendly enough.' Naruto added as he watched Syrus be more at ease with Jaden while Naruto absentmindly watched out the Helicopter.
Soon they arrived on the main Duel Academy Island where the Dorms actually were. They were each handed out a handheld PDA with the schedule and contact information before the driver took off on the helicopter.
"Seems like Slifer's Dorm is that way." Naruto commented as he pointed towards the forest. The Slifer Red Dorm appeared to be shortly from the habour they landed att.
"Wooh! Time to see our new dorm!" Jaden said rather excitedly while Syrus gave a half a smile.
"Yay…" Syrus said with a half-hearted fist bump.
'I hope its not as bad as the rumour say.' Syrus thought desperately.
It turned out after their short walk the it was worst then the rumours said. The 'dorm' was little more then 2 floor motels with approximately 4 rooms per floor.
"This place sucks! It looks like an outhouse with a deck!" Syrus cried as Jaden just laughed.
"Wow I guess they got us good huh?" Jaden said with a smile.
'Pretty sure the servants at the Kaiba mansion would faint if they had to clean over here.' Naruto thought drily as despite his public appearance Seto was fair to the staff employed for his family's care. Naruto occasionally stayed at the mansion particularly when he had listens from Seto and Mokuba.
After a minute of starring at the depressing place (especially for Naruto who knew Seto funnelled millions of Kaiba Corp money into the island) as if hoping it would magically become better Naruto and the new Slifer's reluctantly entered the room labelled 'Welcome room.'
"Welcome welcome! So we have three new Slifers this year! Well I am Professor Lyman Banner and I am the head of the Silfer Red Dorm!" Professor Banner announced as he stepped out with a wide smile.
"Hey Professor! I am Jaden Yuki and I will be the next King of Games!" Jaden announced with a grin as Banner just smiled.
"I see! Well confidence is easy to show but skill is another thing my young friend." Banner noted as Jaden laughed.
"Hello. My name is…. Syrus Truesdale…" Syrus stuttered as Banner gave him a kind smile.
"Ah. The younger brother of the School's Ace Zane Truesdale. I see. Well I hope you will find this a fun place." Banner commented as he looked at Syrus for a moment longer.
"And who is our blond friend in the back?" Banner asked loudly as Naruto sighed before Jaden lightly shoved him forward.
"I am…." Naruto started before Jaden interrupted him.
"Get this! He is the son of Yugi and Godson of Kaiba!" Jaden said excitedly as Naruto glared at Jaden for hyping him up.
"Naruto Muto?! I heard the rumours of course. But to think he would come to the academy is another thing." Banner whispered the last part before tilting his head.
"But wait? With your skills surely even as a first year you would start in Ra Yellow if not Obelisk Blue?" Banner asked as Naruto bit his lip before looking Banner in the eyes.
"My dad is famous now but he started at the bottom and worked his way up. He was not handled titles or prestige. He worked for it. I wanna make him proud and work my way up as well." Naruto declared as Banner smile grew warm.
"Very well put Naruto. I see you do not have a chip on your shoulder from your father's success." Banner said with notable pride.
"Wow! I mean you are so different from the rich kids who think they are better then Slifer Reds by default." Syrus cried as Naruto sweatdropped.
"Anyways Teach! Where is the grub? I am starving!" Jaden asked as Banner gave a nervous chuckle.
"Well. You see. It might be abit different then what you were expecting." Banner admitted before he waved his hands.
"Not that there isn't something for you all!" Banner assured them as Syrus and Jaden gave him accusatory looks while Naruto expression was rather flat.
"Oh! I have to wake up Huffington right away!" Banner noted as he quickly ran off as Syrus expression sighed.
"Well, this is not how I expected my first day of Duel Academy to go." Syrus noted glumly as Jaden tilted his head.
"What did you expect bro?" Jaden asked curiously as Syrus got rather embarrassed.
"I kinda expected being in Ra Yellow with loads of fan girls to cheer me on!" Syrus admitted as he flinched when Naruto's flat expression went to him.
"Huh… I don't think Bastion who is a Ra Yellow has the same aspirations as you do Syrus." Naruto noted as Syrus head dropped.
"Well, I should hope not. Trying to get fangirls would be a very poor excuse on why to join Duel Academy." A tired feminine voice said as everyone turned to a door on the other side of the room.
"Hello my name is Midori Hibiki and I suppose you call me the co-Head of Slifer Red." A kind voice said as she walked out of the door with a smile.
Jaden had a huge smile while Syrus blushed and looked down. Naruto had a grin as he looked over the new arrival to the dorm.
Hibiki long black hair that reached to her lower back with several strands framing her face. She had dark coloured eyes that shone with amusement and kindness as her smile seemed natural and not forced at all. She wore the standard Slifer Red jacket along with white pants. She also had a mature form as she appeared to be in her late 20's. Overall Naruto thought she was rather curvy and beautiful. AN2:
"Hello Ms. Hibiki. The sister of famous American World champion Koyo Hibiki." Naruto greeted with a smile as Midori eye twitched.
"Hello Naruto Muto. Son of World Champion Yugi Muto and Godson to Kaiba Corp head Seto Kaiba." Midori retorted with a slight edge as her smile twitched to a smirk when she saw Naruto eye twitched.
Jaden didn't sense the slight tension of the two Slifer Reds who were related to famous world duelist so he was just excited.
"So cool! I am huge fan of Koyo Hibiki! He is one of my heroes besides Yugi himself!" Jaden announced as Midori turned to Jaden with a smile.
"I see. I will have to let him know I am supervising one of his fans this year." Midori remarked as Jaden gave her a thumbs up.
Midori also spoke kindly to Syrus ignoring him looking at her with embarrassment as she was used to the looks of younger boys lusting after her.
"Oh good! Glad you have met Ms. Hibiki!" Banner announced with relief as he stepped back in with a Slifer Red who looked like a Koala in Naruto's opinion.
"Everyone please meet Chumley Huffington. Here is Jaden, Syrus and Naruto your new dorm mates for this year." Banner said as Chumley just let out a yawn.
"Hello. I hope we can have fun together in the loser dorm." Chumley said in depression as Banner sighed.
"Chumley! This is not the loser dorm! Its merely the first step on students' ascension at Duel Academy." Midori told him sternly as she put her hands on her hips in annoyance.
"Yeah, I know." Chumley said flatly with a yawn as if he heard the speech dozens of times.
"Nice to meet you!" Jaden said enthusiastically as Chumley nodded.
"Ditto." Syrus said nervously while Chumley just took a seat at the biggest table in the room.
"Anyways! Dinner time!" Banner announced as Naruto sat besides Jaden who sat beside Syrus on one side of the table while Banner, Midori and Chumley sat on the opposite side.
The 'dinner' was just a small bowl of rice one per person, with a single piece of fish and a small plate of soya sauce for dipping. Naruto noticed that Banner and Midori had an extra bowl of rice and piece of fish.
'Is that all they get extra as heads of the Dorm?' Naruto thought drily.
"This is Dinner?!" Syrus asked with tears in his eyes.
"Yup enjoy." Chumley said with a sigh.
"Look. It might not seem like much but its quality over quantity, right?" Midori claimed although everyone could tell even, she was a tad annoyed at how low quality the Slifer Dorm got.
"Well at least its cooked right?" Jaden asked cheerfully as he chuckled when everyone gave him dry looks.
"Get used to it. Unless you manage to at least Ra Yellow this is the best you can expect from our dorm." Chumley said rather glumly as Banner and Hibiki sighed but did not despite the fact.
Naruto sighed as he pulled out a small metal plate from his pocket about half the size of his hand.
"Guess its as good as time as any." Naruto commented as everyone gave him confused looks.
"Time for what?" Hibiki asked before Naruto tossed the plate at the floor.
Much to everyone surprise there was a puff of smoke before the plate hit the ground and after the smoke cleared there was a massive refrigerator that had no cables but had lights and displays on.
"My word!" Banner yelped in surprise as everyone stood up in shock.
"Is that a fridge?!" Jaden asked excitedly.
Naruto nodded as he quickly tapped the screen a few times as it beeped in response.
"Kinda. Its actually a prototype of self-sustaining refrigerator that Kaiba Corp has been developing." Naruto informed them as he pushed the fridge that had wheels spring up underneath into the 'kitchen' (which was really just a stove, a few mostly empty cupboards, and a very tiny fridge).
Naruto peeked out to see everyone jaws drop.
"What? You think Kaiba Corp can't make other appliances besides Duel Disks?" Naruto asked rhetorically. AN4:
"Um yeah?" Jaden admitted with a head scratch as Naruto shook his head.
"This prototype is still in its early development so I am basically a field tester to show the company what it does with actual food and drinks outside a theoretical setting." Naruto informed them as he opened the door to show a light breeze. The Fridge was full of various drinks, meats, vegetables and ingredients in a neat fashion.
"Wait! You said self sustaining?! So, this can run without electricity running through it." Banner exclaimed in shock.
"Techincally or at least in theory. Its still rather new but it does use renewable consistent energy to keep the products fresh and safe even after the normal expiration dates." Naruto admitted as he pulled several vegatbles out of the fridge and started to cut them up while the others sat back at the table.
"Before you ask. I won't tell you the energy source as its propriety to Kaiba Corp and its patented." Naruto added sternly making Syrus drop his head in dissappoitment.
"And this has a security system in place so only I can open the fridge so people don't try to steal food from it." Naruto threatened as Chumley gulped.
"Well talk about hi tech!" Jaden said excitedly as Naruto nodded.
"How much would buying this remarkable piece of technically cost?" Banner decided to ask.
"About 1 million Yen." Naruto said cheerfully as he gave them a wide smile. (about 10 000 US)
"…"
"….."
"Eh?!" Everyone shouted at once as Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"What? I told you this is a prototype and mass production has not started yet. We are still testing it out right now with mine. Of course I am not going to give away this for free or anything." Naruto said rather indignant as he started to cook.
"Naruto… You are a student…. You should not have to cook for the yourself let alone the Dorm." Hibiki said in concern as Naruto peeked out with a smile.
"Don't worry about it. I like cooking. To me it's a hobby rather then a chore." Naruto assured them as Hibiki and Banner looked at each other.
"Well if you are sure." Banner said as he sighed.
"Totally!" Naruto chirped as he continued to cook behind the door.
As the group waited and caught a few delicious smells coming from the door Jaden decided to get to know Naruto better.
"Hey bro! Who taught you how to cook? Was it Seto Kaiba?" Jaden asked as everyone leaned in to listen to the answer.
To everyone surprise they heard Naruto scoff.
"Please. Seto might be a great inventor and amazing duelist but he would fail cooking class 100% of the time." Naruto commented as he shuddered.
'Last time I swore he almost burned the kitchen down.' Naruto thought as he remembered the smoke and burning pots with Kaiba looking as cool headed as possible.
"Hmm. It seems that the cooking ware malfunctioned." Seto thought as he looked down at the burnt food with a raised eyebrow.
"So, who taught you to cook?" Chumley decided to ask.
"My mom." Naruto said warmly as his eyes watered.
"She might not a great duelist but she is an amazing mom. She taught lots of other things besides dueling like cooking, gardening, various board games and other things." Naruto said with a warm smile.
'It probably what mom would have been like if she raised me.' Naruto mused as a red haired Kushina with a warm smile appeared in his mind. She was soon replaced by a smiling and beaming Tea as she showed a much younger Naruto how to cook using oil.
Everyone was silent as they heard rumours and stories about the legendary Seto Kaiba and Yugi Muto but judging but Naruto's tone he seemed to respect his mom even more.
A few minutes later (with Chumley stomach there to remind them it was dinner time) Naruto walked out with several plates of fried rice, various vegetables, steamed tofu and sweet and sour shrimp.
"I think this is more of a welcome package." Naruto joked as everyone jaws dropped at how much food Naruto made and the sheer quality of it.
Everyone cried that night as they filled their bellies full of Naruto's cooking which was described as 'best they ever eaten' much to Naruto's amusement.
The group unanimously agreed that Naruto deserved his own room after his cooking against his wishes as Jaden, Syrus bunked with Chumley in bunk beds in a single room. Naruto joined them in their room since it was still several hours till lights out.
About 9 PM Jaden a few messages on his PDA as Naruto, Syrus and Chumley hurriedly looked over.
"Hey I think its Chazz!" Jaden said urgently as he read the message out loud.
"Hey Slifer Slacker! Come to the Public Dueling Arena to settle things unless you are chicken. We shall both ante our best cards to make it interesting. From you know who." Jaden read out as Chumley and Syrus gulped.
"Sweetness! Now I can settle things with Chazz tonight! I am so excited!" Jaden cheered as Syrus looked horrified.
"Aren't you afraid?! If you lose you lose your best card!" Syrus asked with a stutter.
"Eh. I won't lose then. Easy at that." Jaden said with an uncaring tone as Syrus head dropped.
"You are totally missing the point Jaden." Naruto said with a sigh as everyone turned to the blonde.
"Come on bro! I have to accept the challenge! Besides I won't lose!" Jaden whined stomping his feet.
"Have you read the rule book on the PDA?" Naruto asked as everyone looked at him blankly.
"I will take that as a no." Naruto sighed he opened the PDA rulebook attachment.
"Rule 1: No duels will be permitted after 10 PM. Rule 5: No Ante Duels unless given explicit permission by the chancellor in a supervised setting." Naruto read out as everyone looked wide eyed.
"If Jaden and Chazz get caught dueling at midnight they both could be expelled on the spot for violating rule number 1." Naruto said gravely as even Jaden looked freaked out.
"Plus, the Ante rule is illegal without the Chancellor so if one of you lost and got reported you would both be in big trouble." Naruto warned as Jaden slumped.
"But what about Chazz? Won't he be waiting for me at the duel arena?" Jaden asked as Naruto gave him a flat look.
"Let him wait there all night. Its not all fault if he gets caught essentially trespassing." Naruto remarked as he stretched his arms out.
"He's right. If Chazz does something dumb its his head not ours on the line." Chumley added as the group agreed.
Naruto walked back to his bedroom after wishing his fellow Slifers a good night sleep.
'Although if his behaviour is anything to go by Crowler will try to protect his precious Blue student no matter what.' Naruto thought as he went to sleep.
The Next Morning
"Would Jaden Yuki, Syrus Truesdale and Naruto Muto report to the Chancellor's office immediately." A loud announcement could be heard as Naruto shrugged as him, Jaden and Syrus walked to the Chancellor office.
"Hello boys. Please come in and close the door behind you." Sheppard said with a kind but tired tone.
They stepped in with Syrus timidly closing the behind them. Just then he saw Sheppard was sitting behind his desk resting his chin in his hands, Chazz standing next to the desk a few feet away with a fuming angry expression. Crowler was standing behind Chazz with an annoyed frown.
"Hello Chancellor Sheppard." The three Slifers chanted.
"So, Chancellor why are us three and Chazz here this morning?" Naruto asked neutrally.
"You see Mr. Princeton was caught by security last night in the duel arena despite it being against the school rules." Sheppard explained gravely as he sent a frown at Chazz who flinched.
"However, Mr. Princeton alleges he was set up to go there by the three of you and if he broke the rules it was only because he was tricked by you three." Sheppard continued with a skeptical tone.
Syrus and Jaden were indignant while Naruto rolled his eyes silently.
'Just like I thought.' Naruto thought.
"Yes Chancellor! Why would an outstanding Obelisk BLUE student be caught breaking the rules if not being set up by Slifer Red students?" Crowler asked with an obvious sneer at Jaden and Naruto which Naruto ignored.
"The problem is there is no real way to verify if you three had anything to do with it." Sheppard claimed as he sighed.
"Jaden show him your PDA messages." Naruto suggested as Jaden gave him a confused look.
"Oh!" Jaden said in realization as he handed the PDA to Sheppard who looked at the most recent one.
"What is the meaning of this?! Explain Mr. Princeton!" Sheppard demanded as he handed the PDA to Crowler and Chazz who looked it over.
Crowler scowled at Chazz who looked terrified before his face returned to normal.
"Dear Chancellor. This is oblivious a prank text. Plus, there is no way to show who sent the text let alone if it was dear Chazz." Crowler claimed as Sheppard looked thoughtful.
"May I hold onto it for a minute?" Naruto asked as Sheppard nodded so Crowler reluctantly gave Jaden's PDA to Naruto.
"There that should do it." Naruto said as he typed something into Jaden's PDA.
A moment later Chazz's PDA started to buzz and chirp much to his surprise.
"Mr. Princeton. Give me your PDA now." Sheppard demanded with a cold voice as Chazz looked at Crowler who glared at him before giving the PDA to Sheppard.
Naruto gave back Jaden's PDA as Sheppard looked them over.
"Look at this text. Its from your pal Naruto Muto!" With a chibi giving a thumbs up on both PDAs.
"There is no mistaking it. You challenged Jaden to a duel last night and when he wisely chose to not accept you tried to frame him and his friends for your mistake." Sheppard said with fury as Chazz whimpered.
"Please Chancellor! Please make an exception! Chazz has excellent grades and its his first offense!" Crowler pleaded being more worried about one of HIS students being expelled rather then Chazz in particular.
After a tense moment. Naruto decided to pipe in his two words.
"How about a duel? This is how things should be settled right?" Naruto offered as Jaden looked excited, Chazz grunted and Sheppard looked intrigued.
"Very well. Chazz shall face Naruto in a duel. If Chazz wins we shall forget this incident but if he loses Naruto can decide his punishment outside of expulsion." Sheppard declared as Jaden sighed but have Naruto the thumbs up.
"Good luck bro!" Jaden cheered as Naruto smiled and nodded.
"Wait! I want to duel Jaden Yuki!" Chazz insisted but Sheppard glare made him flinch.
"Don't push your luck. Accept this compromise as Naruto was the one who suggested it.
Chazz looked at Crowler for help but he just looked away.
"Whatever. One Slifer is not any different." Chazz mumbled as Sheppard declared it would be a school duel that would happen at next period.
Soon the crowd was full as Alexis and Zane stood on the stands above Syrus and Bastion who did not notice them.
"Prepare to lose!" Chazz declared as he glared at Naruto.
"Prepare to be punished." Naruto retorted as he smirked at Chazz.
"GAME ON!" They both shouted as their life points rose to 4000 each.
"My draw loser!" Chazz shouted as his hand grew to six.
(Chazz's hand: W-Wing Catapult, V-Tiger Jet, Frontline base, Bottomless Trap Hole, Chthonian Polymer, and Z-metal tank)
'Perfect I have a ton set up. The loser hasn't a chance!' Chazz thought in victory.
"I summon V-Tiger Jet in attack mode!" Chazz announced as a green blue jet appeared with the face of a yellow tiger and the claws. It roared as it hovered in the air.
V-Tiger Jet(1600/1800, machine/normal)
"Next I activate the continuous spell card Frontline Base!" Chazz announced he put the spell card in the spell/trap slot of his Duel disk. Suddenly Chazz was elevated as he stood on a castle wall as eh sneered down at Naruto.
Frontline Base(continuous spell card)
:Once per turn you can special summon one level 4 or lower Union Monster from your hand.
"That means he is going to summon a union monster to help his jet!" Alexis said with slight worry as union monsters were best used in pairs.
"Now I can summon my Jet's best friend W-Wing Catapult!" Chazz yelled as a smaller blue jet appeared to hover next the Tiger jet.
W-Wing Catapult (1300/1500, machine/union/effect)
: Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "V-Tiger Jet" you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. A monster equipped with this card gains 400 ATK/DEF, also if the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, destroy this card instead.
"Scared yet? Well you are going to be when I use my W-Wing effect to make my Tiger Jet stronger!" Chazz crackled as his W-Wing turned into parts and equipped itself to the Tiger jet.
Tiger Jet (2000/2200)
"Now I will put these for later facedown and end my turn." Chazz said as he put 2 facedown cards (Bottomless Trap Hole, Chthonian Polymer) as his hand was now one card.
Naruto's turn
"I draw." Naruto said as his hand rose to 6.
(Obnoxious Celtic Guardian, Paladin of White Dragon, Trap Booster, Polymerization, Cards of GreedAN4:, and Trap stun)
"Hmm. Okay I start with the spell card Cards of Greed which allows us both to daw 3 cards!" Naruto announced as a giant yellow pot with a greedy smile appeared in between them.
Cards of Greed(normal spell)
:Both players draw three cards from their decks. "Cards of Greed" may only be activated once per turn and its activation cannot be negated.
Chazz drew 3 cards (hand 1-4) (X-head canon, Y-dragon head, double summon)
'Perfect the loser gave me everything I could need to summon the VWXYZ Dragon Catapult! Plus, with my face downs he won't be able to stop me!' Chazz thought gleefully.
Naruto drew 3 cards (hand 5-8) (Summon Skull, Red Eyes black dragon, De-Fusion)
'Hmm let's test my theory out.' Naruto thought as he glanced at a cheering Jaden.
"Chazz! You ready?" Naruto shouted as Chazz.
"Bring it on loser! There is no monster you could summon normally who can beat my tank!" Chazz taunted as Naruto smirked.
"What is Naruto doing? He doesn't seem like the type to trash talk." Alexis asked Zane.
"I think he is testing Chazz right now." Zane remarked as he studied Naruto.
"Here goes! Fusion time!" Naruto announced as he watched Chazz eyes widen with glee.
"I activate Polymerization from my hand to fuse Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Summon Skull to form my Black Skull Dragon!" Naruto shouted as he put the spell card in his duel disk and revealed the two monsters in his hand.
His hand dropped from 8 cards to 5 from the three cards used.
Polymerization (normal spell card)
:Send monsters from your hand and or field to the graveyard. Fusion Summon from your extra Deck one monster that use the required fusion materials from in face-up attack or defence.
Red Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000, dragon/normal)

Red eyes and Summoned skull appeared on Naruto's field for a moment before a swirl appeared in between them drawing them into the portal. They started to combine and a few moments later a massive monster with traits of both Red Eyes and Summoned Skull appeared as it yelled and growled.
"Good show! A very powerful fusion monster on his first time!" Bastion said impressed as Syrus cheered.
"Yeah, I heard it was one of the boss monsters of Yugi Muto and Joey Wheeler in Duelist Kingdom!" Syrus said as Bastion nodded.
"Yes, it is very impressive but why is Chazz smiling down there?" Zane asked as him and Alexis stepped down so they were on the same level as Syrus and Bastion.
"Brother! You are watching too?" Syrus asked in surprise before he blushed when he saw Alexis natural beauty in person.
"Yes Syrus. I hope you had an exciting first day." Zane said somewhat flatly but he did have a small smile. He rolled his eyes when his little brother went gaga over Alexis.
'Alexis is a person Sy. You can talk to her even if she has no interest in you romantically.' Zane thought with a somewhat annoyed tone in his mind.
"Name is Bastion and this is Syrus." Bastion introduced himself to the two Obelisk Blue who nodded at him and Syrus.
Syrus got over his crush at the moment for Alexis when Chazz was full out laughing.
"I got you! You fell into my trap! Reveal Trap card! Chthonian Polymer!" Chazz chortled out as he revealed his trap card much to Bastion, Alexis and Zane shock.

"Um what does that card do?" Jaden asked as he had walked over to the little gathering as Syrus and Bastion both greeted him. Alexis was focused on the duel while Zane merely raised an eyebrow at the brown-haired boy.
"Really nasty card especially for players who use fusion monsters." Alexis noted with a sigh.
"You see it allows you to tribute one monster you have face up in exchange you get to take control of a Fusion monster when its summoned." Zane added as Jaden and Syrus eyes widened.
"Wait you mean Naruto's Black Skull Dragon is about to be taken over?" Jaden yelped as Bastion nodded sombrely.
The V-Tiger Jet yelled in pain as it was infected by purple mist before it turned into purple mist. It had red eyes and a massive evil grin as it flew and rushed at Black Skull Dragon as there a massive blown explosion of dust from the impact. AN5:
"Muahaha Muahaha!" Chazz roared with triumphant laugher as the cloud started to clear up.
"Your mighty fusion monster is mine now! Too bad!" Chazz said with a hungry smile as the cloud dust vanished from his side.
Much to everyone surprise and shock Chazz field was now empty except from his remaining face down trap card.
"Good heavens! What happened?" Bastion shouted.
"What trickery is this? Were is my Black Skull dragon?" Chazz screamed in outrage when Naruto smirked.
The cloud dust vanished as Naruto's field was finally revealed.
Instead of an empty field there was Summoned Skull and Red-eyes Black Dragon who both growled at Chazz.
"Wait! His pre fusion monsters came back?!" Alexis shouted in surprise before Jaden pointed at Naruto's spell and trap zone.
"It can't be! De-Fusion?!" Chazz stuttered as the De-fusion spell card had been activated.

-Return One Fusion Monster to the extra deck. If all fusion materials are in the graveyard you can special summon all monsters to the Fusion Monster field. AN6:
"Yup I used it before you gained control of my Black Skull Dragon and got instead my two monsters used to create him as free special summons. Cool huh?" Naruto asked with a cheeky smile.
His hand now had 4 cards.
"Genius. He avoided the trap by changing out the target." Alexis noted with an impressed smile.
"Question? The trap failed but why did Chazz's monster not come back?" Syrus asked as Zane turned to him with a flat face.
"Syrus. The monster being tributed is a cost. It disappeared regardless if the card was negated or if the card missed its target." Zane explained in a patient tone as Syrus nodded his head in appreciation.
"Why you!" Chazz hissed before he lifted his hand up.
"So, what if you avoided my trap? I have another one!" Chazz declared as his face down card revealed itself.
"I activate Bottomless Trap Hole! And since De-Fusion summons them both at the same time my trap takes them both down for the price of one!" Chazz revealed as a pit trap started to appear beneath both of Naruto's monsters.

"No! That means Naruto will lose his monsters regardless!" Syrus shouted but Naruto shook his head.
"Not so fast! From my hand I activate the quick play spell card trap booster!" Naruto revealed as his spell card dropped from his hand to the field.

"So, I discard my Paladin of White Dragon to activate a trap card to chain to your trap!" Naruto announced as he sent his ritual monster to the graveyard.

"I activate Trap Stun which negates the effects of other trap cards for this turn!" Naruto revealed as his trap turned the pit trap into rock before it shattered the rock allowing Naruto's monster to stand and not disappear.

Chazz eyes were wide when his field was empty now and he had two powerful normal monsters glaring at him.
"What?! This can't be!" Chazz yelled as Naruto gave him a mock salute.
"Well, been a blast. Red Eyes: Inferno Fire Blast! Summon Skull: Lightning Strike!" Naruto yelled as his monsters charged up.
Red eyes opened his mouth as a red and black fire ball grew from its mouth and Summoned Skull yelled as his body filled with lightning. Both attacks were released and combined to shoot a red ball of fire and blue lightning.
2500+2400=4900 damage
Chazz life points: 4000-4900= -900
Chazz screamed as he fell to his knees in defeat.
Jaden and Syrus were the first to clap followed by Bastion then Alexis and Zane.
"Well done! What a fine duel! The winner in a one turn kill is Naruto Muto!" Sheppard announced as he clapped followed by a reluctant Crowler. Secretly Banner and Hibiki hid and watched the duel with them having massive smiles of pride at Naruto's victory.
"What a sweet duel!" Jaden cheered as winged Kuriboh appeared and chirped.
"Yes. He is certainly quite good." Alexis remarked as she looked at Naruto with interest and even briefly licked her lips for a mere moment.
"Now Naruto Muto as agreed you can decide Mr. Princeton punishment outside of punishment." Sheppard announced despite Crowler lame protests.
"Hmm let's see." Naruto thought as Chazz pouted crossing his arms.
"How about? No private bathing in the Blue Dorm for three months?" Naruto suggested as Chazz jaw dropped to the floor.
"How will I get clean without my daily bath?!" Chazz shouted in outrage.
"Taking a shower like normal people Chazz." Naruto retorted with a smirk.
"Very well. Chazz Princeton will be banned from the Obelisk Blue's private baths for 3 months." Sheppard agreed much to Chazz chagrin.
Soon everyone dispersed to start their next classes while Naruto yawned.
"What a fitting punishment. Personally, I think he needed to be taken down a peg or two." Alexis impressed feminine voice filled Naruto's ears as Naruto turned around.
Naruto had to hold back a groan when he finally saw Alexis for the first time. He did not think the rumours of Duel Academy hottest girl did Alexis justice.
She had dark blonde hair that framed her pretty face with a majority of it trailing down her back to her lower back. She had hazel eyes that shone with amusement as she quietly giggled into her hands which had fingerless gloves. She had a very mature figure for a girl her age which Naruto noticed instantly made her white and blue shirt bulge due to her bust size. Her skirt seemed even shorter due to her long legs that were capped with small dark blue boots that covered her feet.
Alexis was also instantly attracted to Naruto's natural good looks and his dueling skills were another plus in her books.
"May I ask the pretty lady's name?" Naruto asked with a teasing smile as she rolled her eyes playfully.
"Alexis Rhodes and everyone knows you Naruto Muto." Alexis offered as she out her right hand out.
Naruto smiled and took her hand in greeting quickly thinking her fingers were very soft and contrasted nicely with her gloves. Alexis secretly enjoyed how his hand made her feel.
"Well Alexis. I think we shall have a very nice friendship." Naruto remarked as Alexis's smile grew as she felt a tinge of red on her cheeks.
"I think we will Naruto." Alexis agreed as they exchanged PDA numbers.
AN2: She doesn't have a coloured portrait so I am guessing she has dark hair and eyes. She is exclusively from the manga adaptation.
AN3: Yes, I well aware that Kaiba Corp is a gaming company but I honestly think with their technology if they wanted, they could make other high tech gear. In my story Naruto inspired Kaiba to branch out abit.
AN4: Yes, OC card with the implication that it is greedy by allowing peoples to get 3 'free' cards with no downside.
AN5: Yes, I know not as shown in the anime but I think its more fitting as a tribute and control card.
AN6: in the anime the effects appear to be non optional so it always summons to the controller's field while the TCG/OCG its optional but only summons from your graveyard. So I chose a mix for this story.
AN7: I use remove from play since its GX era and I like it better then banish
