Mina step back a little out of fear, Shoto never yelled at her, he noticed it and only sighed and slowly approached her for give her a hug

Mina shook her head and he gently caressed her back, but he felt her resist the hug

He let her go watching how she just go to the room and just lay on the bed sobbing, she hugged her pillow tighter and just heard the door open, Shoto came in and just came to check on her, he approached her, but she looked away, he just sighed and kissed her head as he closed the curtain, Mina expected him to lay in the bed but he didn't, she was surprised to see that he turned off the lights and didn't come, he wanted to give her his space to calm down a bit and go to the couch and lay there, Mina stared at the space on Shoto's side and sobbed as she stretched out her arm and hugged her pillow
She wanted Shoto to get over that, he already captured Dabi and that was enough, he finally can rest after that, but when they announced that he would be executed, Shoto said he wanted to see when it happened to which Mina totally refused, Shoto had invested many years in capturing him, seeing him killed was not necessary and she doesn´t want her husband to see a death in the first line, even if it was just to calm his fears, it was too much
The next morning, Mina woke up first and came down finding him on the couch, she wanted to wake him up, but she left him there asleep, minutes later her mother brought all the children and they enter finding Shoto on the couch, the twins stared at him and gently touched his cheeks
- Girls no, let him sleep
- ¿Why is daddy sleeping here?
-Because... Me and dad had a misunderstanding last night, when he wake up we'll talk again
They were worried when they heard that, they followed their mother to the kitchen cause she make some fruit with ice cream for them, Shoto woke up after a few minutes and when he saw everyone, he hugged each little one and then turned to see Mina

Shoto didn't say anything and just sat next to the twins, Mina frowned and keep cooking

Mina served the children breakfast and a cup of coffee for herself, Shoto took her hand and take her to another room

Mina sighed and nodded as she didn't want her children to witness those scenes either, they came back and the twins hugged each other's arms

They keep hugging them while eat, then Shoto go to take a shower while the girls stayed with their mother washing the dishes, there was an awkward silence that was not normal for them, after that Mina told them to take a bath and would take them to the park, she go to the room to find her husband already dressed to go out, she will do a last try to convince to stay

Once they are ready, everyone got on Mina's car, so did Pocky and she started driving to the park
- Mommy, ¿Can we go for ice cream later?

Once they arrived, the girls go to play on the swing while Haru threw a ball at Pocky, while Mina looked on and Nozomi was next to her
- Mommy... ¿Why are you so mad at Daddy?

She hung up and he poured himself another drink. During lunch Mina watched her daughters and Haru eat while she also looked at her phone waiting for a message or call from her husband, but it wasn't like that, she assumed that he was already on his way to Tartarus and would not come, Mina asked for some pieces to take away and some desserts too, she tried to call him, but it sent her to voicemail, once they were done, Mina took the kids home back
After having drunk 3 shots Shoto waited a moment not to feel dizzy, he helped himself with a coffee, then he grabbed the file and go back to the car and start driving and according to the GPS he would arrive in about 5 hours, he would be back in home in the early morning, he would probably stay in a hotel and go back tomorrow, and that would be a worse argument with his wife, which he didn't want, luckily he stopped at a traffic light to think about his situation better
When they arrived, Mina put the things in the kitchen and sat on the couch calling Shoto, but he didn't answer either, she got mad and left the phone on the table, hours passed and her husband didn't tell her anything, Mina began to prepare dinner, she saw the clock that showed 6:15 pm, she just sighed and then heard the door open

She heard her daughters calling him and go to the door, she was very surprised to see him there, she approached him and took him to the kitchen

- I was going, but I turn the car and come back... I don't want lose you or them cause of that
Mina smiled and hugged him tightly giving him many kisses on the cheek, she jumped into his arms kissing him more intensely, but he lowered her so that the children would not see that scene

- ¿What? - He touched his pockets and realized he didn't have it - Shit, I let it in the office, I'll go get it tomorrow.
They had a very quiet family dinner, then a night of passion between the two of them. The next morning, Mina was curled up on top of her husband with her hair completely mess, smiling as she woke up and caressing his chest
She looked at the clock and it was barely 7 am, it was Sunday so she could have the whole morning with him, before that she grabbed her phone seeing if she had anything and what she saw left her pale

She moved her husband until he woke up and gave him the phone, the first thing he saw was a national news story: 'Escape from Tartarus, Dabi escapes'
Mina watched as her husband's gaze changed to one of surprise and anger, he just gave her back the phone and she took his hand
