"Prepare to Fight"Starts Playing as the Ring General Makes his way to the ramp, Wearing his Usual Ring gear. The crowd shows respect to him, giving him a standing ovation

Cole: As you notice, Imperium aren't here with Gunther tonight. Because this tournament should rely on pure wrestling ability and Gunther respects that so he came alone to prevent any interference.

Excalibur:Tell that to Evil and House Of Torture.

Gunther makes his way to the ring, waiting for his opponent,as "Where do the gone things go" plays and Mike Bailey comes out to the ramp, meeting the cheers of the crowd.

Excalibur:And here comes the Speed Ball of TNA, Mike Bailey.

Cole:A WWE Superstar is facing a TNA Superstar, this really is a hell freeze over moment.

Excalibur:This will be an interesting clash of styles as Bailey's high flying style, goes up against the technical and stiff style of Gunther.

Mike Bailey enters the ring,a determined look on his face.

The bell rings as the two wrestlers circle eachother around. The crowd are electric as they are chanting this is awesome before anything happens.

The two lock up together for a test of strength. Gunther easily overpowers Bailey, pushing him to the ground. Bailey quickly stands up, attempting another lock up with Gunther. This time, Bailey puts him in a side Headlock. Gunther pushes him towards the ropes and hits Bailey with a shoulder tackle.

Excalibur:Well Gunther is certainly overpowering Bailey in the starting moments of this one.

Gunther than picks Bailey up and Irish Whips him to the corner. Gunther himself goes after Bailey and hits him with a Knife Edge Chop, the sound Echoing through the arena. Gunther than proceeds to hit him with a few more, taking Bailey down.

Gunther throws Bailey out of the ring and goes after him to the ring side area. Gunther Irish Whips Bailey to the barricade. He than picks him up and hits him with a back Suplex onto the barricade. Gunther picks Bailey up and throws him into the ring. He turns his back and does the Imperium taunt at the crowd. Which happens to be a mistake cause as soon as he steps foot on the apron, A recovered Mike Bailey hits him with a Superkick, throwing him back to the ringside.

Bailey climbs to the top Rope and hits a Corkscrew Moonsault on a standing Gunther. Bailey throws him back in the ring and goes for a cover.

Gunther picks Bailey up and hits him with a German Suplex. But he doesn't let go as he picks him up for another one. Gunther Finishes the trifecta with a third German Suplex, Bridging it into a pin.

Bailey kicks out at 2.99, Getting a gigantic pop out of the crowd.

Gunther though, immediately turns him around into a Boston Crab.

Cole: Gunther's worked on the back since the start of the match. Can Bailey survive this?

Bailey is trying his best to drag himself towards the ropes and almost reaches them, only for Gunther to drag him back to the middle of the ring and lock it in again, leaving Bailey with no choice but to tap out.

Cole: It's over. Gunther manages to overcome Mike Bailey by making him tap out in 15:34.

Excalibur:But nothing to take away from Bailey. He fought a hard battle and came up just short against the Ring General.

Cole:With that victory, Gunther earns himself 2 points in the block A bracket, currently being in the lead.

Excalibur:Next up, we'll be having Block B action as Gabe Kidd faces The Viper Randy Orton. Can't wait for that one, right after a break.

Cole: We're back from our break and as you saw moments ago, Gunther won the first match of the tournament earning himself 2 points.

Excalibur:And now we'll see some block B action as Gabe Kidd faces Randy Orton.

"War Ready " plays as Gabe Kidd comes out to massive heat.

Excalibur:In a block full of Veterans,Gabe Kidd is certainly a Wild Card.

Cole:Gabe is representing New Japan, more specifically,Bullet Club War Dogs. As you see he's not very popular here.

The crowd is chanting "Piece of shit" and throwing trash into the ring. Gabe Kidd gives them a warm response, A middle finger.

"Voices" starts to play and the crowd goes crazy as the Viper Randy Orton makes his entrance.

Cole:on the other hand,we've got a very experienced wrestler in Randy Orton. We shall see weather his experience is enough to beat Kidd or not.

The bell rings as Gabe Kidd immediately launches him self at Orton hitting him with hard Elbows. Orton doesn't back down though as he throws a few punches of his own, starting a full out brawl. The ref breaks them apart as the crowd are very hot for the match.

They get in each others face and Gabe slaps the taste out of Orton's mouth. Orton laughs before throwing himself on Kidd, hitting him with punches left and right.

Kidd changes the position and hits a few elbows on Orton before being pushed off by him.

Excalibur: If you haven't figured out by the first few minutes of the match, this is gonna be a full on brawl.

However,Orton reverses the Piledriver and hits a Back Body drop on Kidd onto the other piece of stair.

Cole:Kidd might have a broken back after that one,the brutality is really showing in this match.

Orton drags Kidd back in the ring and hits his famous middle rope DDT and goes for a cover.

Cole:Orton beats Gabe Kidd after 10:05 of hard-hitting action.

Excalibur:Even though the crowd hates him, you have to admit Kidd showed some guts in this match. It certainly isn't easy to go toe to toe with a veteran like Orton.

Cole:But tonight, Orton was the better man. And I'm excited to see who the better man in our next match is. Because in a first time ever match, Shingo Takagi will face off AJ Styles in what might be a dream match for many, next.

"You Don't want none" plays and AJ Styles comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Excalibur: I still don't get why he changes his theme song but here comes The Phenomenal One. Styles is probably one of the popular picks to win this tournament as he's been doing this for a long time, he knows the game and he knows how to play it.

Cole:Was that supposed to be a pun? If it was, I'm better off leaving now.

Excalibur: Come on, it wasn't that bad.

"Rising Dragon" Plays as Shingo Takagi makes his entrance to the ring.

Cole:Here you see one of the best that Japan has to offer, Takagi is a multi time world champion in different promotions in Japan, and now, he's trying to be the best in the word.

Excalibur: Wasn't that Shane McMahon?

Cole:DO NOT REMIND ME OF THAT.

The bell rings,as the crowd are electric for these two Veterans. They attempt a lock up as Styles barely gets the advantage and pushes Takagi to the corner. The ref calls for a break and they have a clean Break. They lock up once again ,this time Takagi gets the advantage by pushing Styles to the ropes. The ref calls for a break again. This time as Takagi is letting Styles go, Styles throws a punch at him.

They go for a lock up a third time. This time Takagi puts Styles in a side Headlock as Styles struggles to get out. Takagi drops him down while holding onto the Headlock. Styles rolls Takagi while he's in the Headlock ,but Takagi manages to get a shoulder up before 1, continuing the Headlock. Styles attempts to get up. He succeeds and tosses Takagi at the ropes.

He first ducks under him, then jumps over him, before hitting an Arm Drag on Takagi.

Takagi gets up and the two lock up yet again. This time,Styles gets Takagi in a Wrist lock. Takagi manages to roll out and hit an Arm Drag on Styles. Styles gets up and runs toward Takagi but is met with a lariat, but he doesn't go down .

Styles hits an Elbow to Takagis chin. Takagi repays the favor by hitting an Elbow of his own.

The two continue exchanging elbows, neither willing to back down as finally,Takagi gets a little dizzy which causes Styles to dun towards the ropes, only to get hit with a Lariat by Takagi. This time, he goes down as the crowd gives Takagi a standing ovation.

Excalibur:These two are starting things by technical wrestling. You just know they're in for a long fight.

Takagi picks Styles up and throws him onto the apron. He goes on the apron himself, attempting to pick Styles up, which Styles avoids with a few punches to the head. Takagi Ran towards Styles but Styles ducked under so Takagi hit the Ring Post. Styles then, with a little assist from the post, hit a Tornado DDT on the apron.

Styles sent Takagi back to the ring and dragged him towards the post. He then smashes Takagis leg to the post before attempting a Figure 4 on it. The ref called for a break but Styles used the full 5 count before letting Takagi go.

Styles goes back into the ring and hits a Dragon Screw on the leg of then started doing multiple Elbow Drops on it. Styles then picked Takagi up and hit a Snap Suplex on Takagi, pinning him immediately after.

He runs towards him for a Back Elbow but his knee gives out which gives Styles the perfect opportunity to go for a Calf Crusher and he locks it in. Takagi is screaming in pain as Styles keeps on adding pressure to the submission. As it seems like there's no way for Takagi to get out, he grabs Styles head and hits it on the mat several times causing him to let go.
