"Dreykov...he made me do it! I'm sorry!"
"Yelena...free the other Widows."
"OKSANA! No, no, no...please. Come back to me. This is too much blood, I can still save you"
"Yelena, I'm here." Yelena screamed as she woke up. She tightly embraced Natasha, and asked her to hold her hand. She lay down in bed, while Natasha held her hand. She had been suffering from night terrors for the past few years, as a result of the Red Room and the lives that she ended. She was scared of certain other things, too. She told her sister, "maybe you should go alone. I don't want to scare his children in case I have another attack." Natasha responded, "No, you have to go. You know how much they all love you, especially Nathaniel. In fact, I feel a little insulted that he likes you more than me" They chuckled together. "Yeah, I can go. But...what do we do if my night terrors strike again? The kids, especially little Nathaniel, would be so scared of me screaming in my sleep."
"Oh man, I'm sorry to ask this, but...could we both sleep in the same bed? It's a bit uncomfortable, but it would for sure help your sleeping."
"You're right. I'm sorry to still be such a scared baby after all of these years." Natasha shook her head. "You are not a scared baby. You are the bravest and most amazing person that I've ever seen. I will always be here for you."
"And I'll be here for you. I don't want to think about what my life would've been if I'd never met you."
"And you'll never have to. Not anymore." The groceries that they'd ordered arrived, and they took care of them, putting everything where it belonged. They were excited to go to the Barton house. They didn't have to worry about contacting their boss, because they were the bosses of their Stark Industries branch. As soon as they completed their education and showed their already known capabilities, Tony Stark immediately made them the directors of the newly formed Ohio branch of his company. "So...who's gonna be driving the jet? Me or you?"
"I'll do it today." Yelena got to drive out in their jet. Rather than suitcases, they both just brought backpacks with some clothes, brushes, and other essentials. They also brought some candy to eat on the way. As they drove, Yelena asked "Does this remind of you of breaking our dad out of prison?"
"Oh yeah, that smelly old hag. And you almost hit me with the helicopter." Yelena reassured, "I wasn't trying to hit you with the helicopter, I was just a bit distracted. You should be talking about how I caused an avalanche with that missile I shot. Heh, that would've been a cool way to die. Unlike in that experimentation lab room the next day, that would've been much less cool."
"Yeah, sorry if I scared you with that. But I knew you'd be able to handle it."
"You really could've told me that sooner y'know. Speaking of sooner, how close are we?"
"We're only a couple hundred miles away, we should arrive in a few minutes now." They continued flying, and each decided to have a Milky Way before landing. "Oh look, the white farmhouse." She began to slow down, so they could land their jet near their house. The family of five quickly all ran outside to the loud noise. Lila recognized the ginger hair, and immediately dashed towards the jet. "Auntie Nat is here! And Auntie Yelena!" Lila hugged Nat as Cooper hugged Yelena. Then the sisters both took turns to hug the parents. They sat at the table together. "So, how's it been?" Natasha said, "It's been great. Yelena and I had a sparring match the other day. It was even, till she landed a pretty good belly kick. Then beat me shortly after. We used to have play-fights as kids, and I'd sometimes let her win. It's a shame that she can actually beat me now."
"It's a good thing. You finally get to experience real losing, and that builds your character."
"Oh, I believe you. Y'know, if she ever tries to fight me again, you're gonna have to teach me some of your tricks."
"Yeah...but last night, I had another one of my attacks..." Clint was alarmed. "Oh no...are you okay? What happened?" Laura was confused, "Attacks? What kind?" Yelena sadly sighed. "For the past few years, I've been suffering these attacks. I may start screaming and moving in my sleep as a result of scary dreams. They're called night terrors, and they come from PTSD. I was officially diagnosed a year ago."
"Oh my god, I had no idea...I'm so sorry you have to deal with that, Yelena..." Laura was very sympathetic about it, since her husband also suffered from mental troubles. Clint suffered from survivor's guilt after Pietro Maximoff was killed while saving him and an innocent Sokovian child. Hawkeye put his hand on Yelena's shoulder. "Our brains...they can be messed up from bad events. I know what it's like. You see..."
"Wait, are you the one who was saved by the Witch's brother?" Clint looked in shock. "Wait...how do you know that?"
"Natasha told me about all of her Avenger friends. And, I'd see you guys on the news in the Red Room. Some fast guy passed away, right? Why didn't he just move you guys out of the wa-"
"Yelena." Clint looked at the ground. "He wanted to save me, and had to think fast. He...didn't know what to do, so he sacrificed himself for me. That Quick Little Bastard. Actually, that's why my Nathaniel's name is Nathaniel Pietro Barton." Yelena smiled and said, "That's a fitting tribute. Sounds like he was a great guy."
"Sure was. Sure as hell was. So, what do you wanna do today?" Natasha and Lila looked at each other, and nodded. She said, "How about Lila and I go to a mall, then Yelena takes your boys to an amusement park?" Nathaniel immediately smiled at the idea. "Please, auntie Yelena?" She saw that adorable look in his eyes, and knew that she could never say no. "Yes, sounds like a plan." Cooper also enjoyed the idea.
