The kids were surprised to be going out on such short notice, but they were very much open to a fun day with the cool aunts no matter when it was. Even if they had a final exam in school, they would've gladly ditched it to see their aunts. Clint gave Natasha the keys to his car, while Laura gave Yelena the keys to her car. Clint and Laura would just have a day off for themselves. Yelena smirked at Natasha.

"You know the plan right?" Natasha said, "Too much fun?" Yelena proudly responded, "There's no such thing."

"That's my girl." They fist bumped and then left to the cars. Yelena let Cooper sit in front since she was obviously well aware that Nathaniel was not allowed to due to him only being six years old. Lila was shotgun in the car Natasha was driving, and she talked to Nat about driving. "I turned 17 pretty recently, so I've had my license for about a year now." Natasha responded, "Yeah, that makes sense for a girl like you." Lila then asked, "I'm sorry to ask, but how old were you when you learned how to drive?"

"I was about...24? I was in that enslaved Red Room program that your dad told you about, so I never learned any kind of skills other than killing and harm in there."

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I should not have-"

"Don't worry about it, I'm actually fairly open about it. But you listen to me. Never mention the Red Room or anything with Yelena. She's been suffering from night terrors and PTSD for the past four years since she got out of the Red Room. I was 24 when I got out, but my sister was 26 when she got out. I thought that Clint and I had ended it when we bombed that building, and then Yelena went on to live a free life, but..." She was tearing up now. "I don't know why she forgave me, but I guess that just shows how lucky I am to have her as a sister."

"It's okay, auntie Nat. You're a great person and you had no way of knowing that she was still in there. For now, let's focus on the mall. It's a left here." Natasha laughed, "I have navigation turned on, I knew that." They eventually arrived at the mall. Meanwhile, Yelena and the boys had already arrived and were deciding on what to do.

"So, auntie Yelena, which of the rides should we go on?"
"How about...the safer ones for today?"

"But...they aren't as fun!" Yelena gently told him, "Nathaniel, they may not be as fun, but we need to stay safe." Cooper supported her, "She's right, lil bro. For today, we need to be a little more boring."

"Aw man...okay. Do you like Pokémon?" Yelena was very confused. "What's...Pokémon?"

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT POKEMON IS?" Cooper quickly shut his little brother up. "Nathaniel Pietro. Shut up. Dad told you why she didn't know." To cover up the real reason why she didn't know, he said that it wasn't as well known in Russia as it is in America. Yelena was interested, so she inquired "So, little Nathaniel, tell me more about this Poke him on." He laughed at her, and corrected, "Pokémon! Po-kee-mon"

"Pokémon?"

"Yes! It's a fun game with cute animals. And strong animals. Sometimes people battle with them, where the stronger Pokémon will win. Then sometimes you'll play with them. In those cases, the cuter Pokémon are the better option!"

"Ha, this sounds fun. Is there a Pokémon ride at this amusement park." Cooper happily informed, "Oh, there's an entire section. You will be amazed." They finally arrived, and Yelena pointed at a twisty roller coaster, which Cooper immediately asked to go. She held Nathaniel's hand as they walked. "Auntie Yelena, let's have some snacks! I love the hot dogs and churros and-"

"Hey, no, not yet. I love food as much as you, but we can't eat before a roller coaster. It'll hurt you, and then you could...well, it won't be a fun time." She didn't want to say he could throw up, because she didn't want to risk him losing his appetite. They got on the coaster, and before it started, Nathaniel told her that usually his dad holds his hand on scary roller coasters, and asked if she could. She blissfully accepted, and he said that he feels safe now. Cooper, being a jerky older brother, told him not to put his arms up or he'll lose them. A motherly death glare from Yelena caused him to back down. Nathaniel was surprised. "Cooper is such a big boy, and he was scared of you?"

"Of course. When I need to save you, I can scare anyone." The ride started. Nathaniel panicked for a lot of it, but Yelena enjoyed every second of it. During the part with a loop, poor little Nathaniel screamed his little lungs out. Cooper laughed at him, but then almost choked since they were going so quickly. Then there was the kick at the end, with the build up of slowly going up, and then quickly accelerating down. The three screamed; thankfully all in joy. Even Nathaniel had fun, as the presence of Yelena made him feel safe. "Aw, that was so fun, wasn't it?"

"Yes it was. My little brother didn't get too scared with you around, other than the loop. Let's go to the Pokémon section now." After a bit of a walk, they arrived. "Whoa...what is that yellow mouse? That little fire chicken, I love him!" She gasped, "Whoa...those little teddy bears are my favorite! A baby grizzly, polar, and panda!" Cooper and Nathaniel took this as their chance to nerd out. "That mouse is Pikachu. The chicken is Torchic. The bears? Teddiursa, Cubchoo, and Pancham!" She was beaming ear to ear. "This is so cool, I need to call Natasha." Natasha and Lila had been at the mall for a while and checked out a lot of stuff there. Lila had recently gone with her friends, so she didn't feel like getting much. Nat answered her phone. "Yes, Yelena? Need anything?"

"Yes, for you to come over here! This is so cool! Pokémon is so cool!"

"On my way." Natasha and Lila looked at each other and simultaneously nodded. They joined the rest at the park and went on all sorts of rides. Yelena's favorite was the bear ride, due to all of the different parts of it. Natasha liked the Fire-type-esque ones. They were disappointed that they couldn't go to the water rides today, but all still had a wonderful time. "Natasha, why didn't you ever tell me about Pokémon? It's so cool!"

"I...just didn't know. It just never crossed my mind to show you, I'm sorry."

"It's okay. It's starting to get dark, what do you say we have some snacks and then go?" All of the kids said "Yeah!" Together. Cooper, being nineteen, didn't get too much free time anymore, so he was really grateful for a day like this. Hot dogs and churros were first, then Natasha added on the fries, ice cream, and drinks. They decided to get soda with the kids, as they knew that they had to be good influences and avoid vodka. After twenty or so minutes of chowing down junk food and drinks, they left back to the Barton house. Clint and Laura smiled when they heard that they didn't need to cook dinner since they already had it at the park.

After a few hours of board games, they all went to bed. Clint and Laura offered their room, but they declined, then Natasha and Yelena went to the same bed as planned. Yelena explained that Natasha needed to be in the same room as her in case of another attack. Lila and Nathaniel went to bed, while Cooper stayed up on his computer for a bit before also going to bed. They turned off the lights, and while most of the house went to bed, Nat and Yelena decided to talk instead. They put a pillow near the door so that it looked dark, and they turned the lights on. Yelena questioned, "So, wasn't shopping boring? Aren't you glad that you joined us at that amusement park?"

"Nothing is boring with my Lila. But, yeah I was glad to join. And those churros...mmm!" She said while rubbing her belly.

"Yes, little Nathaniel wasn't kidding, those were so good! And Pokémon is so cool, too"

"Pokémon is for kids."

"Shut up, you know you agree."

"No, I don't." After a long stare and an eyebrow raise from Yelena, she admitted, "Yeah, you're right. I do." Yelena was in a great mood. She suggested that they go to bed now. She didn't have to worry about any kind of night terrors tonight, as she had just had the best day in a while. Natasha, knowing this, also had a very easy and peaceful sleep.
