A/N: This is early and slightly out of order as I like to update in publishing order. But last night I saw that One Piece is hitting Ep. 1,000. (Reason IDK that earlier is because I only watch the anime for these Ch's. now and for some of the more memorable moments) And wanted to put up the OP stories to celebrate it. I'm doing this early as Naruto on Board and USM are the only stories left to finish and I'll try to put up Naruto on Board by Sun. night
And Both Ace and Blackbeard alive won as people brought up Blackbeard is most likely the last villain for Luffy to fight and I agree unless Oda pulls a switch or something like that.
Also for the poll still need around 11 to keep it up past s3 of USM but also if the top 3 are still close by the time I get to s4 I'll end and start a new one as that's mostly 2-3-4 part Eps (Mainly 4).
Chapter XXXVII.
Last Time.
Soon after another whale-shaped ship appears and takes the pirates in, much to the Marines' surprise and Sengoku's annoyance. "I never said they sank all of our ships," Whitebeard commented as the ship sailed to Oars.
"Sink that thing!"
The Marines order to shoot down the ship, but it is too fast. "SHOOT OARS INSTEAD!" Sengoku orders them to shoot at Oars, but he is already able to pull the ship out of the water, allowing the pirates a safe pass through the plaza.
"We made it to the plaza!"
"Ace is right there!"
"Impressive, that space could barely fit one ship… And here we are, boat full of pirates. The walls were supposed to stop them, and it ends up trapping us instead." Garp spoke commending Whitebeard for his tactics and Oars is gunned down and falls unconscious.
"Save Ace for me guys… Don't let them kill him!"
"Whitebeard's in the plaza!
"My sons, please stay back."
Whitebeard enters the plaza and unleashes a massive shock wave with his weapon. "Listen up pirates! Bring Ace to safety! And once you're done with that… DESTROY THE NAVY!" Whitebeard orders his pirates to save Ace and destroy the Marines.
Knowing that Whitebeard is about to attack with all his forces, both Sengoku and Garp decide to fight.
Now.
Marineford.
Ivankov was hopping on broken ice in the water to get to the wall before Jinbe came up and asks what he's doing, to which he replies that he is trying to hear what is happening on the plaza. Ivankov begins to panic about Luffy and starts blaming Jinbe.
Meanwhile, the war keeps its pace, and Marco thanks Little Oars Jr. for his help. Whitebeard commands his pirates to clear the way, as he readies a powerful shock wave. Knowing the danger Aokiji uses his powers to freeze Whitebeard on his Ice Ball, however, he is unable to freeze him as Whitebeard's vibrations cannot be frozen.
Aokiji readies another attack and ends impaled by Whitebeard so he can freeze him at point-blank, however, Jozu prevents it by shattering Aokiji, but he quickly regenerates, albeit slightly injured. Luffy and the pirates keep their move, and Garp starts to behave strangely, which Sengoku notes. Both Helmeppo and Coby feel helpless, with Coby deciding he must fight for the sake of his promise to Luffy.
Momonga attacks Luffy with his Rokushiki swordsmanship only to be blocked by Naruto's katana. Naruto then kicked him away as Luffy is attacked by another vice admiral, and then pushed away by Naruto to dodge Kizaru's beams. Luffy was then punched into Whitebeard before Naruto flew at the Admiral and punched him into the building.
Naruto then dashed over and kicked him through the building going through multiple rooms hitting other marines as Jinbe and Ivankov dropped down onto the battlefield. Luffy struggles to keep fighting and is soon treated by a surgeon. Whitebeard claims how he likes people like Luffy, and readies a shock wave, but Akainu prevents it, and the two start a fight of massive sheer power.
"Stay away from them! It's too dangerous!"
Both the Shichibukai and the Whitebeard Pirates make their way through. Sentomaru reassures his assault leading the Pacifista. Marco readies himself and flies towards Ace to rescue him, to which Sengoku orders the Marines to shoot him down to no avail. When Marco is about to reach the scaffold after a long struggle, Garp jumps into the air and proceeds to brutally punch Marco away.
This course of action annoys Sengoku and surprises everyone else. Garp then makes his claim that whoever wants to pass, must kill him first.
"How about knocking you out?"
He turned to see Naruto in his gold cloak before being uppercut in the air to a group of Naruto's clones. They then attacked him on all sides at great speeds before all attacked at once sending him to the ground. "Naruto Ittai Rendan! (Naruto Region Combo!)"
Naruto dispelled the clones as he saw Whitebeard being hit in the chest by Akainu's lava fist while Luffy was being treated by Ivankov's hormones before getting up. "ACE!"
Luffy rushes towards his brother but is halted by multiple Marines, which he defeats, but to no stopping. Ivankov clears the way for him, but soon after Coby appears remembering the time he met Luffy for the first time and decides to fight Luffy for the sake of his dream. "Soru! (Shave!)"
He dashes towards Luffy but is easily defeated by one punch of Luffy, and reflects on his lack of power as he falls unconscious. "Gomu Gomu no… Pisutoru! (Gum-Gum Pistol!)"
Luffy and Ivankov are soon stopped by two Pacifistas but they stop their attack as Boa Hancock gets in the way, as they recognize her as an ally, which buys both of them enough time to getaway. Hancock jumps as Naruto dashes by and pinches her ass before she starts daydreaming about Naruto. She was then brought out when the Pacifistas call her name before kicking them.
Marco, seeing Whitebeard weakened after Akainu's attack, tries to help, and was attacked by Kizaru. Marco regenerates and rushes to help Whitebeard, but Kizaru sends Onigumo to put Kairōseki (Seastone) on Marco, allowing Kizaru to brutally damage him. Naruto dropped down on the Marine then brought a leg down on his head creating a crater.
Naruto then reached for the cuffs as he picked up a key and unlocked it. "How did you do that?" Marco asked as Naruto shrugged.
"I don't have an Akuma no MI (Devil Fruit,)"
Sengoku orders a large amount of Marines to attack Whitebeard, before clones of Naruto attacked the Marines, sending them flying. Whitebeard then unleashes his massive strength and quickly sends flying all the rest of the Marines around him. "I know what'll happen if I falter… Even for a moment. What would happen if I die. Even with that cold truth. I can't allow myself to submit… Not until the bitter end! So I'll wait until I've taken care of the future for my sons!"
As the Marines try to attack him, Naruto, Jinbe, and the Whitebeard Commanders cover his back.
Naruto looked at the Commanders that he didn't see until now.
The first is a cross-dressing man wearing a pink and purple kimono. He has a pale complexion and hair tied in a way resembling that of a geisha. He has a loose, long strand of hair that hangs over the right side of his face. He also carries another Japanese-looking, light-red spotted indument tied around his waist.
Izou, Commander of the 16th Division.
The next has a crop of short brown hair, blue eyes, and is fairly short. He's wearing a green and white 16th century-style ruffed outfit with white tights and carries a saber whose handguard resembles the ruffles of his shirt.
Haruta Commander of the 12th Division.
"Concerned about the future?" Sengoku asked crossing his arms. "I'll be happy to show it to you now. Let's end this… EXECUTE HIM!"
The new executioners brought their swords up just as Luffy screamed "Don't you DARE!"
Naruto turned to him as he swore his vision turned blue for a second before Marines fell to the ground foaming at the mouth, including the executioners. 'What the hell?' He thought before the air cracked as Whitebeard used his power again.
"Here's the plan! I'm either going to live or die, so backup Straw Hat and Sage with everything you've got!"
The New World Captains fight against the vice admirals while the other pirates clear a straight path to the execution platform. Inazuma then reappears, having been hiding in Ivankov's hair, and uses his Devil Fruit powers to create a bridge that leads straight to the scaffold. Luffy runs up the path, and to his brother. When Luffy attempts to uncuff his brother, Ace, Admiral Kizaru splits the key in half.
One of the executioners then sat up and his helmet fell off revealing he's Galdino. He then sees Luffy and makes a key for him out of wax. As Luffy uncuffs his brother Admiral Sengoku transforms into a large Buddha-like figure using his devil fruit powers. He then punches at them but is blocked by a gold fox paw. Sengoku looked to see Naruto formed the fox again and was hit with a tail sending him into the HQ building.
Galdino, Luffy, and Ace begin to fall from the platform as all the marines fire cannons at them. They seem to be directly hit, but Ace uses his devil fruit abilities to save them as fire surrounded them both. "LET'S GO!"
Naruto looked to see Sengoku was back in his regular form before bringing a paw down onto him destroying the wall of the building as the pirates cheered.
"He's free!"
"You did it Straw Hat!"
Naruto fell down beside the three as Ace had a circle of fire surrounding them. He cracked his neck while dispersing the cloak as Marines surrounded them before clones dropped on them. "Let's get out of here!" Naruto yelled as they ran fighting off any marine that got in their way.
They then came up to Aokiji who froze his arm. Ace then shot fire at the Admiral who shot his pheasant having the attack melt. As some marines are confused about what to do, Akainu orders them to pull themselves together and assures them that escape for Ace and Luffy is impossible. Just then, a paddleboat runs aground scaring the Marines with Squard and his crew aboard.
Ace shot fire at another group of Marines before seeing the ship. Whitebeard then stopped the ship before his right arm bulged. "I'm a relic of a bygone era… Long have I sailed, but no ship can carry me into the New Age." He then threw his arm out cracking the building. "Now go and form your own path!" He then smiled as he glanced back. 'Don't look back boys. A New Age is coming.'
"It's been a long journey… And a good one. Let's put an end to this… You Navy temes! (Bastards!)" Whitebeard yelled out as he raised his weapon.
The Marines continue to rapidly fire bullets at the large pirate who slams his spear down, blowing some Marines away. Some of Whitebeard's crew despair, but Fossa says that evacuation is what Whitebeard wishes his crew to do. With the pirate crew leaving, Luffy calls to Ace who is standing still. Marco also despairs Whitebeard's situation.
Galdino laughs confidently over the rescue of Ace and is about to be cut down by some Marines, but uses a wax turtle shell to protect himself. As Whitebeard continues to pummel Marineford, Sengoku, who got up from his spot realizes the white-bearded pirate wants to sink the entire island and take every Marine with him. Meanwhile, Buggy who was unfrozen by the water is angry that the Den Den Mushi he's glaring at is within its shell.
With the pirates racing back to their ships, Whitebeard continues to hold his own against the Marines. Jozu is still frozen making him too heavy to carry out. So Blenheim is called. Ivankov calls for Luffy to depart while Ace continues to stand still. With the Marines closing in, Ace fires a fire blast at the Marines.
Ace kneels before his captain exhausted. "The times for words have passed, my son But tell me one last thing. Are you happy to have this old Baka (Fool) as your tou-san (Father?)".
After Ace looks back on his meetings with Whitebeard, he tearfully speaks. "Of course Tou-san! (Dad!)"
Whitebeard laughs at that as the pirates near freedom, Jinbe runs up and tells Naruto, Ace, and Luffy to stay in front as the Marines wish to target them. After the pirates steal a Navy ship, Akainu knows escape is futile and fires a lava fist at some pirates.
Kingdew senses that Akainu is trying to send the pirates over the edge. The Marine admiral then insults Whitebeard, driving Ace off the deep end. Ace turns to face Akainu in a fit of rage ignoring the pleas of his friends. Ace marches forward covered in fire while Akainu thinks the crew has been deluded. "He sailed the seas for years but couldn't amount to anything. Amassed an army of losers who'll die to protect that man. Have you ever heard of a more pathetic life?"
Determined to protect his father's era, Ace shoots a fiery fist while Akainu shoots a magma fist; The latter's magma easily breaks through Ace knocking him back. "You may be made of fire. But my magma burns even hotter than that! Just like Whitebeard, second rate until the end."
"Ace!" Luffy tries to intervene but drops to his knees as well as the Vivre Card.
Seeing how he has the opportunity to end the bloodlines of Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Dragon, Akainu aims for Luffy who is trying to reach Ace's, Vivre Card. Only to be hit by Naruto who was in his gold cloak. Clones then grabbed him as another dropped from the sky with a large Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere)
"Odama Rasengan! (Big Ball Spiraling Sphere!)"
He hit the Admiral creating a large crater before the real Naruto jumped over and landed on his chest to look down. He saw Akainu breathing heavily with blood coming out of his mouth before crouching and looking him in the eye. "You know what's pathetic. Your life knowing you'll live the rest of it knowing I don't think you're worth killing."
Naruto them got up and jumped back to Jinbe who was holding an unconscious Luffy who passed out from exhaustion. Akainu then appeared behind Naruto to hit him with a lava fist, only for Whitebeard to appear and was hit in the stomach for a second time and had it distort. Whitebeard then grabbed the Admiral, threw him up, then hit him in the stomach with his power-infused fist breaking the ground around them as well as cracking the entire island.
"It's too much, he's done for!"
Naruto looked back to see that Whitebeard had a crack behind him cutting off his crew from him as he was going to fight alone. Naruto then turned to stop Ace from helping. "Matte, (Wait,) Follow his order and help your crew get the hell outta here or what they come to do will be in vain."
"LOOK!"
Naruto turned to see a giant at the castle in a prison jumpsuit. He's standing at least 180 meters at least. The shape of his head and the disposition of his brown beard resemble a chestnut, making his spiky, round, and beige hair resembles a chestnut shell. His facial features include round eyes with dark lines around them, along with eyelash-like marks, similar to Franky's, that point downward.
'Great Battleship' Sanjuan Wolf.
"He's not alone, there's a group up on the roof!" A marine yelled as the dust cleared showing Blackbeard and his crew on the scaffold with more people.
The first is an incredibly pale man, and also very tall, and slim. He's wearing an off-white collared long-sleeve shirt patterned with yellow crosses and navy jumper pants. His most distinguishing accessories are a black top hat and red wooden cane, with which he also wears a pair of gold hoop earrings. His lips are also abnormally dark red.
'Demon Sheriff' Laffitte, Navigator of the Blackbeard Pirates.
The next is a man who's dressed in regal attire, consisting of a long, white, and dark brown patterned fur coat and light-purple necklaces. He has many cat-like characteristics: his eyes are slit like a cat's and his cyan hair is a wild mane, with white horns attached to his head via black metal plates underneath.
He has a mustache that is a lighter blue than the rest of his hair, very large and droopy, sticking out about the same length as his shoulders resembling a cat's whiskers. He also has no eyebrows.
'Corrupt King' Avalo Pizarro.
The next is also a man drinking sake from a gourd. He is a huge man, three times a normal man's height. He is stocky, overly top-heavy in build with thick arms, proportionate to his torso, that reach knee level, looking massive compared to his disproportionally shorter, thinner legs.
He has light skin with a red undertone, an extremely wide neck, and an unattractive face that is set most apart by his big, bulbous nose with its bridge starting higher than his eyes are set. The latter are widely spaced beside his nose, drooping, with purplish-gray irises underlined by black lines that jut upward from the outer eye corners like lashes, and being topped by what seem to be thin, short brows always drawn downward, touching the nose's upper edge.
His tall, rounded forehead is furrowed, with a black jester's hat above whose two cones bend over, and are tipped by white pompoms. Behind, his black, waved hair comes out to go down his back, and placed upon the sides of his neck are three large, golden ring piercings.
'Heavy Drinker' Vasco Shot.
The next is an extremely tall, pale-skinned, and well-endowed woman with her hair in a set of girlish pigtails. Her face has wrinkles, a sloping forehead, a long witch-like nose, a devilish grin, and a square jaw. With the prison jumpsuit, she's also wearing a large magenta cape, a blue pearl necklace, and a purple sash around her waist over lavender cargo pants and black shoes.
'Crescent Moon Hunter' Catarina Devon.
The final is a tan man of notable height, a long face with a wide-bridged nose, a full-lipped mouth, smoking a big cigar, and has a wide, jutting, flat-ended chin. He's wearing an officer's peaked cap with a dark-blue crown and black, low-set visor, plus a red cap band holding a frontal badge of the winged, crowned Impel Down insignia. Below, he wore what resembled a white aviator cap, consisting of perforated rings surrounding diaphragms.
He's also wearing a dark-blue, double-breasted trench coat that's below knee-length, ten-buttoned in gold, and with a buttoned collar bearing a red patch of the aforesaid insignia on each wing. On Each upper arm is a red brassard with the same insignia, which was further borne as a buckle by the light-brown belt present for the coat.
He has brown, color-matching gloves and boots, below the elbow and knee-length respectively, and dark-green pants tucked into the latter. Draped on his shoulders like a cape, is a white overcoat with the kanji for 'prison' emblazoned on the back. It has fringeless epaulets consisting of red, gold-bordered rectangles marked by golden Xes next to single gold buttons. The coat's sleeves were plain, lacking turned-out cuffs.
Shiryu of the Rain.
"Hey, there pops! I'm glad I could make it to your funeral!" Blackbeard yelled down before laughing. "Did you miss me?!"
Blackbeard explained the only reason he joined the Shichibukai (Seven Warlords) was to get into Impel Down to get the Level 6 prisoners and that he now resigned. Whitebeard attacked by sending a wave at the platform destroying it before panting as he bled from both the holes in his stomach. The dust cleared showing the crew was standing before Blackbeard pushed a wall off him.
"Of all the ones who call the Moby Dick their home, you were the only one I never called son. I only had one rule on my ship and you dare to break it Teach." Whitebeard explained pointing his spear at the pirate. "You betrayed our trust and killed a fellow mate. It's time to end this! You'll pay for 4th Division Captain Thatch's death with your life, mark my words he will be avenged!"
"Marco!"
Marco landed at the crack before speaking. "Let me help you!"
"Stay out of this!" Whitebeard spoke not looking back. "Let's get this over with, right now!" He said to Blackbeard before getting into a stance.
"What do you think I'm here for?" Blackbeard asked as his dark power covered him.
He then put his hand on the ground having the darkness cover it having the rocks sink. Enjoy this Burakku Hōru. (Black Hole.)" A pillar formed around Blackbeard before dispersing as he laughed. "This Akuma no Mi (Devil Fruit) power is why I killed Thatch. I knew I had to have it. Yami Yami no Mi's (Dark Dark Fruit's) real tasty. You should give it a try!"
Whitebeard started to sink before glancing around to see Weapons sinking as well as being destroyed. He then raised his fist as Blackbeard ran over, hands covered in the dark. "No power will work against mine!"
They clashed, having Whitebeard's power dissipate. "I'm negating your power as I did with Ace!" Blackbeard then punched Whitebeard in the stomach under his second wound before uppercutting him.
Whitebeard broke free then punched Blackbeard who blocked, and punched him having his spear fly in the air. Whitebeard caught his spear then sliced Blackbeard across his left shoulder. Whitebeard then grabbed his throat as his power covered it. "You were never fit to be a part of my crew."
He then had his power explode cracking the area as his crew cheered. Blackbeard survives and then his crew attacks Whitebeard in a cowardly manner by using pistols and blades, dealing finishing blows to his already battered body, while his crew looks on in horror and heartbreak. Naruto in his Sage Mode held onto Ace who struggled to get free. "Hold on This was Whitebeard's fight!"
In Whitebeard's final moments, he thinks about his last meeting with Gol D. Roger and learns the history behind the middle initial 'D'. Gol D. Roger also told Whitebeard how to get to Laugh Tale, even though Whitebeard doesn't ever plan on going there. As Whitebeard is dying, he mentions how the Pirate King awaits someone with the initial 'D', but tells Teach that he isn't the one that Gol D. Roger is waiting for.
He also says that there will be others that will pick up his and his crew's will and that will never extinguish. Whitebeard then addresses Sengoku and the World Government, acknowledging that they are afraid that one day, a battle will break out that immerses the whole world, and the world will become engulfed in war.
Whitebeard admits he doesn't care about the fate of the world, but as long as someone finds Roger's treasure, the world will be turned upside-down and affirms someone will find it, on a day that will come sooner or later. He grins at Sengoku, who looks on with fright. Whitebeard tips backward, inhales, gathering his last breath, and bellows at the top of his lungs, "THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!"
Naruto watched as the pirate died standing up while his coat blew off showing he had no scars on his back. "Come on Ace, you go against his final order, he won't forgive you in the afterlife."
With the pirates fleeing, Vista advises that Jinbe is not to fall for any distractions whilst caring for the still unconscious Luffy. The Marines fired at them before Naruto looked back t see a black tent over Whitebeard before Blackbeard went in. After a moment, he came out having his right-hand cover in darkness while his left had a white bubble around it before he cracked the air.
"He took Whitebeard's power? How the hell did he do that?" A Marine yelled out.
Akainu appeared in front of the pirates as lava before forming. And was kicked away by Naruto before they ran. Akainu suddenly appeared above Jinbe before shooting a lava fist at him hitting Luffy and sending his hat flying before Naruto kicked him away and then hit him into the water. Suddenly a yellow submarine appeared. The hath opened revealing Trafalgar Law and his crew who yelled to bring Luffy to them for treatment.
Naruto heard Coby yelling for peace before a man appeared on the battlefield holding Luffy's hat. Heis a tall man, with a well-built, tan-complexioned. He has distinctly red hair that reached his shoulder and on his face resides a triple set of parallel, linear scars that pass vertically, at an angle over his left eye. And a goatee mustache Stubble.
He's also missing his left arm from below the deltoid. He's wearing a sweeping long, sleeveless, high-collared cape of black color and beneath a simple, white shirt half-buttoned up, exposing the middle of his chest and upper abs. He also has green-yellow pants with a floral pattern cut below the knee, collected halfway up the shin with sandals and a saber sheath on his right hip.
'Red Hair' Shanks.
Almost all the pirates and Marines are surprised, while an amused Teach catches notice the Red-Haired Pirates had arrived. While Law's submarine sails away, his crew members race to save Luffy and Jinbe who are rapidly losing blood. Shanks sees Naruto before tossing the hat to him. "Watch out for Luffy."
Naruto nodded at that before Shanks remembered saving Luffy when he was a kid, losing his arm in the process, and then gave him his straw hat on the promise it'll be returned when Luffy was a great pirate. "Heh, I wonder what he would say? I'll keep my word. And that means I can't see you yet, right Luffy?"
Naruto then looked at Ace before speaking. "I'll make sure Luffy's OK, you o with your crew to think up how to fight that teme (Bastard.)"
Ace, still glaring at Blackbeard sighed before nodding and turning. "Don't let him die."
Naruto nodded before disappearing.
Heart Pirates.
The Submarine surfaced before Bepo ran out, fur wet from sweat before seeing Salome. Naruto walked out before Hancock's breasts obscured his vision. "Naruto-Kun~!"
Naruto looked up to see a Marine ship was beside them with Ivankov and his group before Jinbe walked out covered in bandages. "Hey, Han-Chan." Boa swooned at that before asking for a Den-Den Mushi to call for her ship to hide Luffy at Amazon Lily. "OK, let's go," Naruto said walking in with her.
