Chapter LX.
Last Time.
Whole Cake Chateau.
"Mama! Smoothie-sama has arrived!"
Big Mom was eating when she got a report that all her Three Sweet Commanders were in one place, and wonders about the status of Cracker's confrontation with Naruto and Luffy. Outside, Cracker crashes into the Whole Cake Chateau and his unconscious body falls to the ground, which draws the attention of Big Mom as well as everyone outside. Three of his siblings stand by him in shock.
"He went to the woods last night to take care of Elemental Sage Naruto and Straw-Hat Luffy," Galette said as they all turned to the woods.
"Damn it! He knew Naruto had a 2 billion berry bounty!" Mont-d'Or cursed as they raised a state of alarm over Sweet City, causing the citizens to panic and evacuate.
Now.
Luffy, Naruto, Nami, Chopper, And Carrot.
"Sanji's going towards the castle."
Nami looked at Naruto who opened his eyes after sending a clone out to scout. "Really?"
"Yep, with his family wearing a red cape." He replied as Carrot bit his ear while they sat on Kingbaum who took them towards the city.
"Hey, young girl. You're lucky." Kingbaum said getting their attention.
"Why?"
"There they are. That's Germa 66." He said as they saw a large carriage carrying Sanji and his brothers and sister.
"Can you see Sanji?" Nami asked as Luffy sat up.
Luffy shot forward and ran to jump on startling Yonji. The Germa 66 soldiers circle to attack, but as Luffy talks to Sanji, the cook suddenly kicks him away. Sanji tells Luffy that he has embraced his royal heritage and family name, so Luffy should get going, and he calls Luffy and the other Straw Hats low-class pirates. Luffy refuses to believe Sanji, and Yonji offers his help in getting rid of Luffy, but Sanji proclaims that he will do it himself.
Sanji claims that he will be happier in the ranks of the Big Mom Pirates, where he will be treated to power and luxury as opposed to the meager existence of the Straw Hats. He says that he has been looking down on Luffy and his crewmates the whole time and is willing to prove it as he activates Diable Jambe. He then charges at the motionless Luffy and kicks him in the face, sending him tumbling away.
Luffy gets back up to face Sanji, who says that he should use Haki if he wants to live. Luffy replies that he has no need for Haki when he just wants to speak with Sanji, and Sanji tells Luffy to leave in that case. Luffy refuses, and Sanji calls him selfish as he strikes Luffy again. Luffy gets back up, and Nami pleads for Sanji to stop, only for Naruto to raise his hand.
"This is an issue for Luffy to handle as a captain." She tried to argue only to stop as Naruto shook his head and placed an arm around her shoulder.
Sanji then barrages Luffy with many kicks, but Luffy refuses to back down or fall, much to his chagrin. At last, Sanji has finally had enough and prepares to deal a finishing blow. He spins to reignite Diable Jambe before taking to the air with Sukai Wōku (Sky Walk), spinning around in a fiery circle as he falls toward Luffy.
He plants his heel into the top of Luffy's head with deadly force, and Luffy initially tries resisting it, but eventually succumbs to the power and falls unconscious. Sanji walks back to the carriage as Luffy lies on the ground bleeding, and an anguished Nami races to Luffy's side. She then goes up to Sanji and slaps him, grimly apologizing for coming to rescue him before walking away.
Sanji returns to his seat next to his impressed brothers, and as the carriage heads away, Luffy regains consciousness and calls out to Sanji. He says that he knows Sanji is putting on an act, and that Sanji was the one who was truly hurt by all the kicks he unleashed. Luffy proclaims that he cannot go on his journey and become Pirate King without Sanji, so he will wait in this spot and not eat anything until Sanji returns.
Luffy's words cause Sanji to break down in tears, and his brothers laugh at him as they head out of sight of Luffy.
Later, the group's waiting as Luffy lay down before Nami sighed. "Luffy… Are you gonna wait here?! We're right in the middle of enemy territory."
"I'll wait!"
"Pound said the people who took down a Sweet General… Ended up being annihilated in the blink of an eye by Big Mom's vengeful army that came along with a storm. So the enemy will come… But Sanji- kun..."
"Sanji will come! So I'll wait here!" Luffy said as Naruto rested a hand on his knee that was propped up.
He then looked up as he saw a storm cloud form. "That mountain is the Whole Cake Chateau where Mama lives! Mama is angry-ju!"
"Luffy." Naruto stood as Luffy looked at Naruto as the wind and syrup rain picked up. "I took out Cracker, so this is my fight… Any chance you can leave until it's over?"
"Nope," Luffy said turning onto his stomach.
Naruto sighed as he cracked his neck and then went into his gold cloak. "OK then." He crossed his arms as the army with some of Big Mom's children started coming into view. "ANY OF YOU ALL NOT READY TO DIE, TURN AROUND!"
One tall man jumped over with a Haki-infused arm before being punched back into the mountain with a large gold chakra hand. Several of the chest soldiers then disintegrated as black balls shot at Naruto and the clones that dropped down. "You all have chosen… Death!"
Naruto and his clones dashed forward and attacked the large army. He dropped down to dodge a swipe before creating a sharp end on one of the staffs he created then stabbed a man in the neck.
Castle.
Big Mom walks through the halls still in a fuming rage but snaps out of it when her daughter Anana comes up to her. Anana wants knives to mutilate her stuffed animal, but the head chef is preventing her from getting some. Big Mom responds by ordering her sons Dolce and Dragée to get Anana knives, to which they protest since she will use them to pop their balloons.
However, Big Mom replies that it is natural to develop a killing instinct and tells all the children in the room to get excited about Pudding's wedding tomorrow. She then steps into the dining room where the Vinsmokes are, and their lunch begins. Big Mom and Judge have a toast to the formation of their alliance tomorrow, and Pudding comes in to eat.
Tons of food homies then come to the table dancing and singing, and the Vinsmokes are perturbed at having to eat the living morsels. As everyone eats, Pudding slips Sanji a note asking him to meet with her privately later.
Later, in Pudding's room, she confesses to Sanji that she had arranged to get the Straw Hats to the coast of Whole Cake Island and bring him there to reunite with them, but was unable to uphold her word. However, Sanji replies that he would not have come to the coast anyway, as doing so would put the lives of his friends in jeopardy and get his hands destroyed.
Pudding reveals that all people arranged to marry into the Charlotte Family have those exploding cuffs put on, and Sanji then takes his mask off, revealing his beaten face. He tells Pudding that this is the kind of treatment he receives from his family, which caused him to run away from them 13 years ago. Now, however, they are threatening the people who treated him like family, and with no way out of this situation, he has given in.
Pudding weeps in apology for making Sanji's life hell by being arranged to marry him and keep him away from his friends, but he tells her she has nothing to apologize for. Pudding tries assuring Sanji that she will not make their marriage hell, and he embraces her, deciding to aim for the best life afforded to him by marrying her without struggle tomorrow.
Room Of Treasure.
Brook's disembodied soul comes in through the wall and surveys the room, noting the amount of security in it and spotting the three Poneglyphs contained inside two normal and one Road Poneglyph. Tamago talks to a woman about the importance of the Poneglyphs, one of which they had just received from Jinbe upon his and Wadatsumi's arrival at Whole Cake Island yesterday.
She is a statuesque tan-skinned woman with wavy white hair that stretches down her back with bangs covering her right eye, blue eyes, and prominent lips with lavender lipstick, she additionally has disproportionately large hands, even for her size and she is exceptionally tall, standing 15'3".
She's wearing a pink striped leotard, a large yellow scarf that flows nearly to the ground, sleeves around her elbows, a huge floppy cap resembling an oversized beret, and a pair of long dark boots that reach up to her knees with decorative adornments at the top. She also has a tattoo of a rose on her upper right leg.
One of the Sweet Generals, Minister of Juice, Charlotte Smoother 14th daughter of Big Mom Bounty: $932,000,000.
As he talks, Smoothie wrings a liquid out of a woman like she is a cloth and asks Tamago why they need extra security now. Tamago reveals that Pedro has been reported to be on the island, and the mink captain had attempted to steal their Poneglyphs five years ago. Brook is shocked at what he has seen and heard and goes back to the wine cellar where he and Pedro are hiding.
He tells Pedro about the level of security in the room, and they know they will not be able to get past all of it. However, since Tamago seems to be specifically keeping an eye out for Pedro, the duo gets the idea to use the mink as bait.
Meanwhile, Big Mom takes the Vinsmoke Family to her library, where she shows them her collection of rare animals and races trapped inside books with the help of Mont-d'Or's ability. As she talks, Judge asks her about giants, having not noticed any in Totto Land yet. Big Mom's expression darkens considerably, but she simply claims that Judge has just happened not to see any.
Treasure Repository.
Pedro was clearing out the halls outside of the room Big Mom's Crew is in before running in front of another group. He then dashed around slicing guards pulled a stick of dynamite lit it with his cigarette and threw it at a door.
Boom!
Only for nothing to happen to the door. He then threw several more at the door.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
He then jumped back as Smoothie and Tamago walked out to see the unconscious soldiers. They then started running down the halls as Brook hid in a room that they passed. Pedro continues his assault through the corridors of the Whole Cake Chateau, slicing through guards before they can raise their weapons in defense.
He sped through and blew soldiers away, before using explosives to take out multiple opponents at once. As his rampage continues, Tamago and Smoothie race to corner him as they keep tabs on his location. However, Tamago wonders about Pedro trying to steal the Poneglyphs and then realizes that Brook has evaded their security just like Pedro did. Smoothie then goes back to the Room of Treasure.
Up ahead with Brook, he's at the entrance taking out several of the guards there, and when the rest of them try shutting the doors and locking him out, he speeds his way into the room. The doors remain locked as Smoothie comes to the room, and with those being the only way out, she lies in wait for Brook to come out.
She then heard Tamago on her Den-Den Mushi. "Big Mom will want him for her collection. Hurt him but don't kill him."
"Got it."
Inside the room, Brook is confronted by the guards inside. "(Sigh!) I can't handle any more soldiers!" Chess soldiers then ran at Brook having him sigh again. "I see… Through Big Mom's ability, you are all fused with human souls. That means you chess peacekeepers are…" He trailed off and pulled his guitar out. "Driven by soul!"
However, the soldiers attack and overwhelm him before he can strike the right chords on his guitar, and they all converge on him. However, Brook manages to start playing and blow them away with a burst of soul energy, blasting their souls out of their bodies as a demonic soul specter manifests behind him.
"You don't know my other name, do you, baby? It's Soul King!"
Inside a room in the Whole Cake Chateau, the Vinsmoke Family, except for Reiju, sits and drinks tea with their father.
He is a large man with long golden hair which reaches his waist. He has a long and thin black mustache that spikes upwards, a thin and small beard, and a prominent cleft chin. He has on a golden helmet. He's wearing a Raid Suit, which is composed of a gray robe with the number "66" on the bottom front, a large orange cape, a belt with the number "66" on the buckle, dark gloves, and boots.
Vinsmoke Judge.
Judge states that Pudding will live with them in the Germa Kingdom after the wedding, as he wants to use her as leverage to prevent the Big Mom Pirates from taking advantage of them in their new partnership.
Niji wonders if the Big Mom Pirates will try to do the same thing with Sanji, but Ichiji reminds him that they do not care for Sanji's well-being. This causes the brothers to chuckle, and Niji looks forward to living with Sanji again. In his room, Sanji prepares a bouquet for Pudding as Eggplant Soldier comes in with the ingredients Sanji requested.
Treasure Room.
In the Room of Treasure, Brook finishes off all the Chess Soldier homies with his soul power and turns his attention to the non-homie guards inside the room. They charge him, but Brook counters their attacks as he defeats them all with swift sword slashes as the air gets cold. "Kasuriuta Fubuki Giri! (Song Of Scratches Blizzard Slice!)"
Brook appears behind the group and sheathes his sword. "I've already cut you." He said as ice formed on their backs and they fell over and saw keys on one man's belt. "The keys." He then turned to see a large guard running before Brook jumped towards the man and performed a very swift vertical downward slash that cut and freezes him. "Suwarō Banduroru! (Swallow Banderole!)"
Brook then takes the keys to the cages containing the Poneglyphs and goes off to transcribe them. However, as Smoothie deduces that all the guards were defeated and prepares to break in, Big Mom suddenly comes in telling her daughter to move aside as she shatters the door to the room, and confronts Brook as he transcribes her Road Poneglyph.
Chateau.
Meanwhile, Reiju sneaks through the chateau and approaches a room with a door homie, but then turns back. She then creeps around outside, only to come face to face with a gun. Reiju turns and recognizes the person behind the gun in shock.
Bang!
She was shot in the leg and was able to get away before leaning on the wall for support as she limped. She then came across Pudding who took her to her room for treatment.
Courtyard, Pedro.
Inside the chateau, Pedro is pushed into the third-floor courtyard by a battalion of Chess Soldiers. There, he confronts Baron Tamago. "It's been a while-Bon! I am surprised to see you back here after you had so stubbornly clung to life the last time you came to Totto Land five years ago and got 50 years of your lifespan removed."
The confrontation triggers a reaction in Tamago's left eye, remembering it was taken out in his battle with Pedro five years ago, and things start heating up as Pedro reveals his own left eye, which had also been taken out.
"I'm willing to lay my life down. I'm not expecting to go back alive!" Pedro yelled out before electricity covered his blade as he dashed at Tamago who dashed and spun his legs to block the attacks revealing they're electric proof.
Tamago pulled his cane sword out and dashed at Pedro and clashed blades. Tamago then flips upside-down and spins rapidly like a top, delivering a flurry of kicks at Pedro. "Sanīsaido Reggu! (Sunny-Side Legs!)"
Pedro blocks most of the kicks before being shot back and spins his tail to hover before flying to Tamago and being kicked back. He remembered Big Mom taking 50 years of his life instead of the 70 by taking out his left eye and standing up remembering the Straw Hats saving Zou before dashing to and slicing Tamago bisecting him and having an egg yolk fall out. "I'm not gonna die now…"
Sanji.
Sanji walked outside as it rained and came up to Pudding's room and looked to see Pudding whose hair was out of the way revealing she had a third eye. She laughed at Reiju and explained she didn't like Sanji and was like her mother and planned to shoot him and his family as soon as they said her vows and that she told the three captured Straw Hats as well.
She then reached for Reiju's head and pulled a film strip out showing Reiju's memories before pulling a pair of scissors and cutting the part that she just explained out erasing Reiju's memories by having a random soldier shooting at her.
Treasure Room.
Brook stands firm against Big Mom who had a storm cloud and a raging sun Homie beside her. Looking for an opening to get past Big Mom, Brook does not see any but takes off as he runs up the wall. He then runs around the circumference of the room, his sheer speed causing Big Mom to struggle to keep up with him. However, when he manages to get behind her and attempts to attack, Big Mom quickly sees him and repels him with Prometheus.
The two weather homies assault him with powerful attacks. Brook then tries to overpower them with his soul power as he did to the Chess Soldiers, but although his music does give them great discomfort, they come out of it unaffected. They then injure him further with more powerful attacks, seemingly defeating him, but as Big Mom tries to grab him to take for her collection, he crawls away and slowly gets back up.
Zeus and Prometheus get into an argument as to who should finish him off, causing Brook to spot an opening on Big Mom and rush in to attack her. However, Big Mom's bicorne homie Napoleon releases a sword hidden within it and slams into Brook. Big Mom then asks the nearly-defeated Brook if he has had enough, and is surprised to see him get up again.
"I know that Sanji is likely here to sacrifice himself, and it's unlikely he'll come back with us. Thus, if Luffy fails, I want this mission to be fruitful by acquiring your Poneglyphs."
Big Mom wonders why Brook does not consider the possibility of his team dying in this mission, but Brook retorts that no one considers the possibility of death in their quests.
Naruto.
Naruto's clones dropped several large Rasengans down to hit large portions of the army creating three large explosions and finally sending the rest into retreat. Naruto dropped down and panted as he dispersed his clones and cloak before glowing green. "Almost worked up a sweat." He panted before Carrot jumped in his arms forcing him to cup her ass.
He smiled as the others ran back up before hearing a voice and turned to see Jinbe walking up to them.

There's a new anime coming out by the same studio that does SpyxFamily and the first 3 seasons of Attack on Titan. I guess this is an FMA: Brotherhood/DBZ Kai thing. I'll probably check it out but will only most likely look at the big moments again when they get to them.
Next to be updated will be Shinobi as I'll start over on publish order.
