Chapter 19: The Mad Scientist: Dragons vs Parasites
Once they received word that Tea, Alexis, Akiza, Tori, Zuzu, and Blue Maiden were mysteriously kidnapped, our heroes, accompanied by Kylie tracked their location to an underground laboratory in the Fusion Dimension.
"This is where the signal came from?" Yusei asked.
"If Alexis was able to send that SOS, then her signal should be strong here." Yuya assured.
They searched the laboratory for the missing girls. They eventually find them locked in a suspended cage.
"Alexis!" Jaden shouts.
"Tori!" Yuma shouts.
"Zuzu!" Yuya calls out.
"Guys!" Téa and Alexis called out.
"You're here!" Akiza said.
"Playmaker! Guys! Get out of here!" Blue Maiden continued.
"It's a trap!" Tori and Zuzu finished.
"A trap!?" Yusei gasps as they hear laughter.
"Hey! Who's that laughing?" Jaden shouts.
"No... Not him." Yuya seethed.
"What is it?" Yugi asked.
"He's here!" Yuya answered.
"Who's here?" Yuma asked.
"I know you're here! Show yourself, Doktor!" Yuya ordered as The Doktor appears out of the shadows laughing.
"I've been waiting for you, Yuya Sakaki. We meet again at last." The Doktor tells him.
"You know this kook?" Jaden asked.
"He's a mad scientist who was Leo Akaba's right hand. He specializes in using parasites to brainwash any individual. Once the parasite enters a person's brain, they're forced to do his evil bidding. He once brainwashed Zuzu, Celina, Rin, and Lulu. He even turned them against me and my friends." Yuya explains.
"That's right. The Professor turned me into a card because I put those felines in harm. I sent grunts to capture these young ladies and use them as bait to lure you into a trap, Yuya Sakaki!" The Doktor accused.
"You're out of your mind!" Yusei shouts.
"Stop this madness now and release the girls immediately!" Playmaker ordered.
"And miss out on taking my revenge on Yuya Sakaki? Never!" The Doktor shouts.
"Revenge!?" Yuri asked.
"What did I do!?" Yuya asked.
"You destroyed my lab and exterminated all my parasites!" The Doktor answered.
"I don't even remember doing such a thing." Yuya pleaded.
"You don't remember what happened, but I can never forget it." The Doktor said. "And now that you're here, I can put my nightmares to rest!"
"Get them out of there! I can take him!" Yuya commanded the others to free the girls. Yugi and the others complied. They sprint to the cage.
"Ah-ah-ah! I don't think so!" The Doktor snaps his fingers, and a transparent wall envelops everyone, cutting off access to the cage.
"If you want to get to them, you're going to have to beat me." The Doktor challenged as he raised his Duel Disk.
"Fine! If beating you means they go free, then I'll be happy to oblige you!" Yuya accepted his challenge as his Duel Disk boots up.
"Generating Action Field: Crossover." A female AI announced as the area gains several blue floating platforms.
"I've waited years to get even with you for what you did." The Doktor smirked.
"I'm telling you I don't remember doing that, but if it's a duel you want, I'll be happy to oblige." Yuya accepts his challenge.
"Let's duel!"
Yuya Sakaki: 4000 LP
VS.
The Doktor: 4000 LP
"Since this is my lab, I'll start off."
Turn 1: Doktor (4000)
The Doktor analyzes his hand, seeing a lot of Insect cards, some new Parasite cards among them. He snickers with a hint of malice in his voice.
"I activate Parasite Colony!" The Doktor plays a Spell card.
"What?" Yuya gasps.
"I've never heard of that card." Yuma commented.
"When Parasite Colony is activated, I can add my precious Fusion Parasite from my deck and add it to my hand." The deck auto-shuffles. The Doktor shows the card he takes as Fusion Parasite. Yusei cringed at the sight of the card.
"When are you going to play a card that isn't an Insect?" Yusei glared.
"These Parasites are my beauties. I can't give up on them." The Doktor smirked. "Speaking of my Parasites, I think I'll give one a new form. I activate Polymerization!"
"Polymerization?!" Jaden gasps.
"I fuse Big Insect with my Fusion Parasite!" The Doktor fuses the two Insects together. "These two soldiers of the insect world combine together to create an explosive new power!" The large ant and the small pink parasite swirl into a ball of light. "I Fusion Summon! Take to the air, Parasite Bomber!" A parasitic bug with a missile launcher on its back appears with a loud screech.
Parasite Bomber: Level 5/ATK: 1800/DEF: 2250
"Still using your Parasites, I see." Yuya commented.
"Yes, and my Bomber can arm itself with a Fusion Parasite in my Graveyard." The Fusion Parasite emerges from the Graveyard and enters the missile launcher.
"I know you have worked on them for as long as I can remember, but can you at least do something different in your life?"
"These Parasites are my life's work. I can't just abandon them! I've been creating different ways to utilize the true power of my parasites." The Doktor snarled. "But don't take my word for it. Let my Bomber show you what it's like! Once a turn, I can deal you 800 points of damage for every Fusion Parasite that's in play."
"Ha. 800 points is hardly a threat."
"That's true, and I'll bet you're also not afraid of the fact that my Bomber also counts as a Fusion Parasite, aren't you?"
"Say what?!" Yuya gasps.
"So, instead of 800 points, my Parasite Bomber will blast you with 1600 points of damage. Fire!" The Doktor commands his monster to attack Yuya. The bomber bug fires two miniaturized missiles at Yuya. Yuya screams as he is blasted back towards the barrier. (Yuya: 4000→2400 LP)
The Doktor laughs triumphantly. "Hurts, doesn't it? And there's more where that came from." The Doktor points to the cage. The cage suddenly lowers 24 feet.
"Hold on, why did that cage get lower?" Yuma asked.
"I may have forgot to explain, but every time Yuya loses Life Points, that cage gets lower." The Doktor said. "What is it hanging above? Just look down and you'll have your answer." They look down and see a giant pool of mysterious blue fluid.
"Is that…?"
"Don't worry, it's only a little sleep potion I've been cooking up since I was given this new lab." The Doktor said. "Of course, once your ladies take a dip, they'll be sound asleep forever!"
"So, if Yuya loses, those girls will be in an eternal sleep?!" Yusei asked. "That's low, even for you."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
"Then I'll just defeat you before that happens!" Yuya declared.
"We shall see. I summon a second Fusion Parasite." The Doktor's prized parasite appears. (Level 1/0/0)
"I've seen this kind of scenario before." Yuto's spirit suddenly appears.
"You have?" Yuya asked his Xyz Dimension counterpart.
"Yes, when we battled Lulu and Celina when they were under his control." Yuto said.
"Yeah, I remember." Yuya said. "And if that's the case, then that last card he has is a familiar one as well."
"You're smarter than you look." The Doktor said as he revealed his final card: Parasite Factory.
"Parasite Factory. I knew it." Yuto glared.
"That's right." The Doktor smirked as he played the Spell. The lab's equipment begins to illuminate the entire room. What everyone saw shocked them.
"No way…" Jaden said in shock.
"Are those… eggs?" Yusei asked.
"There's got to be like… thousands of them." Yugi added.
"Exactly right. Those tanks they're in are incubators, designed to hatch a swarm of my precious parasites!" The Doktor smirked with an evil snicker. "Speaking of my precious parasites, my Parasite Factory allows me to Fusion Summon by sending my Fusion Parasite and my upgraded Bomber to the Graveyard." The small parasite and the infected bomber ant fall into a dark rift. The Doktor's Extra Deck opens. "If you think my baby insects were annoying enough, wait until you meet their ruthless ruler!" A hulking insect forms in the shadows. "I Fusion Summon! The mighty monarch, Parasite Queen!" A giant parasitic insect emerges with a screech. (Level 8/1800/1800)
Yuya glares at the Doktor upon seeing that monster. His opponent laughs heartily. "This monster is the pinnacle of evolution! No one can dethrone my queen, especially since she'll be now equipped with the two Fusion Parasites that that were sent to the Graveyard, and each of them will infuse her with 300 extra Attack Points each." Two Fusion Parasites materialize, attaching themselves to Parasite Queen. (1800→2400)
"I've been wanting to get rid of that bug since last time." Yuya glared.
"Go ahead and try." The Doktor signals the end of his turn.
Turn 2: Yuya (2400)
"I've taken it down before, and I'll do it again!" Yuya draws his card.
"To start, I summon Performapal Celestial Magician." Yuya summons a new Performapal: a magician in black and gray robes that closely resembles his appearance as Z-ARC.
Performapal Celestial Magician: Level 4/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1000/PS: 8
"My magician is pretty lonely, so I'll go ahead and summon Performapal Helpprincess to keep him company." His next monster is a happy purple-haired girl with an oversized hand on her scepter.
Performapal Helpprincess: Level 4/ATK: 1200/DEF: 1200
"I've seen this strategy before. Celestial Magician and Helpprincess are both Level 4. You're planning to summon Dark Rebellion, aren't you?" The Doktor guessed Yuya's next move.
"A good suggestion, but it just doesn't seem fitting, you know?" Yuya pondered. "Well, it just so happens that I'm about to try… something brand new."
"You lie!"
"You'll think twice when I do this! Now I entertain my circuit!" Yuya declares as the eight-arrow portal appears overhead.
"What?!"
"Looks like he's about to pull it off." Playmaker said.
"What's happening?" The Doktor asked.
"The summoning conditions require me to use 2 Performapals. And that's exactly what I have. I'm setting Helpprincess and Celestial Magician in the Link Arrows!" Both of Yuya's monsters enter the portal, illuminating the down-left, and down-right arrows. "I Link Summon! Making its grand debut is the showstopping Link 2 Performapal Linkipede!" Yuya's new Link Monster is a large-sized centipede with a blue bowtie with purple polka-dots and a white top hat.
Performapal Linkipede: Link-2/ATK: 1200/↙↘
"He did it! I knew he could!" Yuma cheered.
"I never knew Yuya could Link Summon like that." Alexis commented.
"I'll bet Playmaker taught him to Link Summon." Blue Maiden added.
"So, Doktor, how do you like my new Link Monster?" Yuya smirked.
"Link Monster?!"
"That's right, and his ability lets me choose a Performapal in my deck and add it to my Extra Deck." Yuya said as a card slips out of his deck. He reveals it as Performapal Silver Claw. "And Silver Claw is just the right one, don't you think?" He places the card in the Extra Deck.
"Next, I set the Pendulum Scale with Scale 2 Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer and Scale 8 Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn! I'm taking control of this duel, starting now!" He sets both monsters in the Pendulum Zones. On the left is a young version of his father
"Now, I can summon monsters between Level 3 through 7 all at the same time." Yuya declares. "Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the arc of victory!" The giant crystal pendulum swings back and forth behind Pendulum Sorcerer and Odd-Eyes Unicorn. "My monsters are ready to swing into action!"
A portal appears above Yuya, and three monsters emerge from it. "Work your magic, Performapal Celestial Magician!" The black-robed magician appears, staff at the ready.
Performapal Celestial Magician: Level 4/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1000/PS: 8
"Scratch your way to victory, Performapal Silver Claw!" The blue-furred Beast emerges, battle ready.
Performapal Silver Claw: Level 4/ATK: 1800/DEF: 700/PS: 5
"Turn up the heat, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya's best monster emerges with a mighty roar.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: Level 7/ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/PS: 4
"That's quite the ensemble. It'll be even sweeter to crush them under my heel, along with you." The Doktor snickered.
"Not once I activate the spell Pendulum Fusion!" Yuya plays his spell. "I can use this to fuse monsters from anywhere in my hand, field, or Pendulum Zones."
"You can Fusion Summon?!" Doktor said in shock.
"Surprised? I've learned this technique by accident, but it proved to give me a myriad of possibilities." Yuya spoke. "I fuse Silver Claw and Celestial Magician! These two monsters will merge together and create the most diabolical botanical ever seen!" Both Silver Claw and Celestial Magician swirl together, creating a ball of light. "I Fusion Summon! The vicious, voracious, and venomous Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri's best monster emerges with a roar alongside Odd-Eyes.
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: Level 8/ATK: 2800/DEF: 2000
The Doktor was in shock upon seeing Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. "Starving Venom?! How did you get your hands on Yuri's monster?"
"Some things are better left alone. But let's leave that matter for now. Starving Venom gains your Queen's attack points." Parasite Queen's energy is becoming absorbed by Starving Venom, increasing the Dragon's attack power.
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: ATK: 2800→5200
"5200 Attack points?" Yuma gasps.
"And if that wasn't enough, Starving Venom can steal an opposing monster's special abilities once a turn." Jaden added.
"Easier said than done." Yuya countered. "Parasite Colony protects Parasite Queen from being targeted by effects as long as she's equipped with those Fusion Parasites. And even if she isn't, Parasite Factory protects her from my monster's special abilities.
"So then, with those cards…" Yusei began.
"That's right. Those cards make Parasite Queen virtually untouchable." Yuya finished. He then cracked a smirk. "But that doesn't mean she can't be taken down the old-fashioned way. Odd-Eyes, take out Parasite Queen!" He commands his Pendulum Monster to attack Parasite Queen.
"You really done it now. You activated my queen's second ability! She releases one of her Fusion Parasites and latches it onto your dragon!" One of the Fusion Parasites separates from the larger Insect and attaches itself onto Odd-Eyes' chest. "And once it's made itself comfortable, it sucks away 800 of its Attack Points." Odd-Eyes roars in pain as its strength is siphoned.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: ATK: 2500→1700
"Geez, I'm starting to see why you didn't like bugs, Yusei."
Yuya quickly rushes for an Action Card and grabs one on a platform. "I activate the Action Spell Miracle! It saves my dragon and cuts the damage I take in half." Odd-Eyes strikes Parasite Queen but is pushed back. Yuya manages to hang on.
Yuya: 2400→2200 LP
"He couldn't get rid of that Parasite Queen." Akiza said from the cage as it lowered two more feet.
"Yeah, but at least she's got one less Fusion Parasite equipped onto her." Alexis said. "If Yuya can find a way to destroy the other one, Yuya may have a chance of winning."
"You may have stopped one of my Dragons from taking down your queen, but lucky for me I have another waiting to strike. Starving Venom, take out that Parasite Queen!" Starving Venom charges a purple beam of energy in its mouth. The Doktor runs to find an Action Card. Yuya rushes to find another. They grab one at the same time.
"You'll never dethrone my Queen! I activate the Action Spell Zero Penalty!" The Doktor plays the Action Spell he obtained. "It zeroes out your monster's Attack Points. Not so powerful now, huh?" The spell saps away all of Starving Venom's attack power.
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: ATK: 5200→0
"Not good. Starving Venom's completely vulnerable now!" Jaden yelped.
"I activate Restore! This'll put some bite back into Starving Venom's attack, because Restore brings its attack points back to its original value until the end of the turn." Starving Venom's body glows green for a second, restoring its strength.
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: ATK: 0→2800
Starving Venom fires a purple beam from its mouth, aimed at Parasite Queen.
"As I said, you'll never take her crown away! I can send my Fusion Parasite to the Graveyard to prevent her from being destroyed." The Doktor sends his Fusion Parasite to the Graveyard. It takes the hit for Parasite Queen.
Parasite Queen: ATK: 2400→2100
"But it'll still hurt." The attack makes contact and sends the Doktor back a few feet.
Doktor: 4000→3300
"400 points… That's nothing compared to the pain I'm about to dish out on you."
Yuya places a card face-down. "Go ahead and dish it out, if you can." Yuya declares the end of his turn.
Turn 3: Doktor (3300)
"As long as my Parasite Queen is in play, I can weaken his monster when he attacks, but there aren't any Parasites left on her." The Doktor's thoughts echo in his head. "Doesn't mean I need to have them on my field, though."
"You want my best? I'll give it to you. I draw!" The Doktor draws his card and sees a whole new card never before seen. He smirks.
"I activate Card of Rejuvenation!"
"Card of Rejuvenation? I've never seen that card before." Jaden said.
"This one is special. It allows both players to draw 10 cards from their decks."
"10 cards?!" Yugi gasps.
"That'll give him and Yuya a ton of options." Playmaker added as both duelists draw their ten cards.
"What's the point of refreshing both our hands?" Yuya asked while the Doktor analyzed his hand and sees his third Fusion Parasite.
"See for yourself." The Doktor reveals a Spell card: Parasite Discharge.
"Not that card!"
"My Spell card Parasite Discharge allows me to summon a Fusion Parasite from my hand!" The Doktor activates the Spell. Another Fusion Parasite appears beside the queen.
Parasite Queen: Level 1/ATK: 0/DEF: 0
"This is starting to get old really fast." Yuya scowled.
"In that case, it's time for me to bring out a new monster." The Doktor said. "Fusion Parasite lets me fuse my monsters without Polymerization. I'm fusing Parasite Queen with my Fusion Parasite!"
"He's using his queen to Fusion Summon again?" Jaden gasps.
"Watch as these two monsters merge together and create the most beautiful and savage sovereign!" The Doktor chants as Fusion Parasite and Parasite Queen swirl together, creating another ball of light. "I Fusion Summon! Parasite Queen Dancer!" The Doktor's new monster is a larger version of Parasite Queen, with a beautiful woman as an upper half and an insect's torso forming the lower half.
Parasite Queen Dancer: Level 10/ATK: 3000/DEF: 3000
"There's something you don't see every day." Yuri said as his spirit appeared. "I imagined he's doubled down on his training to take you down with his bare hands."
"What was your first clue? The sickening smirk on his face or the giant bug on his field?" Yuya asked his Fusion Dimension counterpart. "But on the bright side, now that Parasite Queen is gone, Odd-Eyes' attack points return to normal.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: ATK: 1700→2500
"Just a fair warning: you do not want to mess with him, especially when the flames of revenge rage on his mind." Yuri warned him as he disappeared.
"In that case, I'll just have to snuff those flames before I'm burned." Yuya's thoughts echo in his head. He looks over at Odd-Eyes.
"Now, before my Fusion Parasite gets snuggly latching itself onto my Queen Dancer, she gains a counter for each of the Fusion Parasites that are in my Graveyard. And since I have three, she gains three counters." Three spots on her insect body light up.
"And for extra protection, the Fusion Parasite in my Graveyard equips itself onto my Queen Dancer." The small pink parasite latches itself onto Queen Dancer's back.
"That doesn't seem to be any trouble."
"Really? Then, I'm sure you know that while my Queen Dancer has at least one of these counters, any of your effects and abilities that don't destroy monsters are completely useless!" The Doktor informed him. Yuya gasps in shock. "And if that weren't shocking enough, Queen Dancer gains an extra attack for every Fusion Parasite and Fusion Monster that are on the field and in my Graveyard."
"Let's see…" Jaden thought aloud. "If I remember, he has one Parasite in his Graveyard and two on the field. That makes three attacks. The two Fusion Monsters that are in his Graveyard are Parasite Bomber and Parasite Queen. That adds up another two attacks."
"That means, Parasite Queen Dancer can attack six times, right?" Yuma asked.
"Wrong." Playmaker spoke up. "Parasite Queen Dancer gains an attack for every Fusion Parasite and Fusion Monster in his Graveyard as well as the field. If you count Parasite Queen Dancer and Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, that means it has a grand total of eight attacks."
"Are you kidding?! Eight attacks?!" Yugi gasps in horror.
"That's right, and here comes the first!" The Doktor shouts. "Parasite Queen Dancer, take out Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Queen Dancer fires a stream of poison from its mouth, destroying Odd-Eyes. Yuya is sent back.
Yuya: 2200→1700 LP
"What worked for you before works for me too. I send Fusion Parasite to the Grave to protect Odd-Eyes from destruction." Fusion Parasite detaches itself from Odd-Eyes before it explodes.
The cage lowers five more feet, closer to the pool of sleep potion. "Yuya, you need to find a way to stop those attacks." Akiza called out.
"Now, my Queen Dancer, attack Odd-Eyes again!" Another stream of acidic fluid is fired at Odd-Eyes again. The attack hits, destroying it. Yuya is knocked towards the barrier.
Yuya: 1700→1200 LP
Playmaker sees the cage drop a bit further down. "Yuya! If you don't think of a way to stop that monster's attacks, he's going to annihilate you!"
"Easy for him to say. Queen Dancer, take out Starving Venom now!" Another stream of acid destroys Starving Venom. Yuya braces himself.
Yuya: 1200→1000 LP
"You shouldn't have done that. When Starving Venom is destroyed, all your monsters go down with it, and you take damage equal to their attack points!" A stream of poison shoots from the floor and is aimed at Queen Dancer.
"You'll never give my Queen Dancer the hook! By removing one of its counters, my monster is saved!" One of the illuminated lights on Queen Dancer's body goes out and a barrier deflects the poison streams.
"So much for that. At least I can provide some extra defense now. I activate Super Hippo Carnival!" Yuya activates his face-down Spell card. "This lets me summon my favorite hopping herbivore: Performapal Hip Hippo!" Yuya's top hat wearing pink hippo appears in a defensive stance.
Performapal Hip Hippo: Level 3/ATK: 800/DEF: 800
"But why stop at one hippo when I can have five? Super Hippo Carnival fills the rest of my Main Monster Zones with Hippo Tokens!" Yuya's field is filled with multi-colored hippos dressed in carnival dance dresses.
Hippo Tokens x4: Level 1/ATK: 0/DEF: 0
"You know what I like about Super Hippo Carnival? On the downside, I can't summon monsters from my Extra Deck while I have these Tokens, but on the upside, you're only allowed to attack my Tokens."
"In that case, Queen Dancer will take those paltry pachyderms down one by one. Attack!" The Doktor commands his monster to take down the Hippo Tokens. A singular acid stream destroys the four tokens.
"And now, with them gone, I can get rid of the only offensive monster: your Performapal Linkipede." The Doktor pointed at Yuya's Link Monster. "If I'm right, and I'm sure I am, Link Monsters can't be in Defense Mode. And with that knowledge, once my Queen Dancer destroys your Linkipede, my revenge will finally be complete." He cackles with triumph. Yuya scowls.
"Goodbye, Yuya Sakaki, forever! Queen Dancer, finish him!" He commands his monster to attack Linkipede. Yuya rushes for an Action Card. "I don't think so!" The Doktor rushes to beat Yuya to the Action Card. They reach for it at the same time. In slow-motion, it shows that Yuya got the Action Card first. He lands perfectly and skids to a stop.
"I activate the Action Spell Battle Change!" Yuya plays the Action Spell he just acquired. "During your Battle Phase, I can change your monster's attack target. So instead of Linkipede, Queen Dancer is attacking Performapal Hip Hippo!" Queen Dancer fires the acid stream at Linkipede. Hip Hippo dives in front of Linkipede to take the hit, being destroyed on contact. "Thanks for the rescue, Hip Hippo. You're the best." The Doktor lets out a furious scowl, growling with his teeth gritted.
"Amazing. He just survived eight back-to-back attacks from the Doktor." Skye said in awe.
"That's Yuya for you; he knows how to handle impossible odds with a smile." Zuzu smiled, showing a warm blush.
"Zuzu, are you… blushing?" Tori teased her.
"Is it that noticeable?" Zuzu asked, trying to hide it.
"That was a close one. I didn't think I'd survive." Yuya sighs with relief. He looks up at his angered opponent. He yells at the top of his lungs.
"You've ridiculed me for the last time, Yuya Sakaki!" The Doktor screamed as he placed two of his cards face-down. "I will take you down if it's the last thing I do!" His declaration signals the end of his turn.
"I know you blame me for your lab's destruction, but I was not myself when that happened." Yuya explained. "In fact, your parasite had a hand in my powers kicking in."
"What?!"
Yuya lets out a light-hearted chuckle. "Ironic, isn't it? It was your own parasite that set off the chain reaction that led to me destroying your old lab."
"You lie! I do not believe a word you're saying!" The Doktor yelled that accusation.
Turn 4: Yuya (1000)
"Well, if my words won't convince you, maybe my cards will." Yuya draws, a rainbow light trail following his hand movement. He looks at the card he drew and gets a look of complete shock. His hand trembles as he looks at the card: Astrograph Sorcerer.
"Astrograph Sorcerer… the card that ushered in total destruction." Yuya's thoughts ring in his head, remembering his brief time as Z-ARC, a power-hungry duelist that brought more destruction with each duel he won. His memories flash, showing his rampage against the Dimensions and beating the Lancers. "When I was possessed by Z-ARC, all I could think about was power and winning. But Zuzu set me back on the straight and narrow." The flashbacks end, bringing us back to the present. "Z-ARC may have caused destruction, but only because his fans wanted more brutality. And now that I'm in control, it's time to give Z-ARC his wake-up call!" His eyes show a dragon's silhouette.
"With my Pendulum Scale already set, I can summon monsters from Level 3 through 7 all at the same time." Yuya chants. The Pendulum swings once again. "Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready… to swing into action!" Yuya calls for a Pendulum Summon. Five monsters emerge from the overhead portal.
"Welcome back, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya's best monster emerges with a roar.

"Nice to see you, Performapal Celestial Magician!" The black-robed magician reappears.

"Work your magic, Nobledragon Magician." A new magician appears, one in white and purple robes. Its staff resembles a tuning fork.

"And now, for your eyes only, my most skilled sorcerer, one who has mastered the secrets of space and time. And he will now use his knowledge to heed my call. Take to the field, Astrograph Sorcerer!" A staff ticks like a clock before a masked sorcerer that resembles Stargazer Magician with silver armor appears from the darkness.

"Are you doing what I think you're doing?" He hears Yuto's voice before he appears.
"I don't know if this is a good idea, Yuya." Yugo spoke once he appeared.
"For once, I'm with you, Yugo, but this is the only way Yuya can win." Yuri's spirit clarifies.
"Yuri's right. This is our only chance to come back." Yuya agreed with Yuri.
"And now's the time to bring about a monster you may be familiar with. Level 3 Nobledragon Magician tunes Level 4 Celestial Magician." The white-robed magician turns into three motes of light, which morphed into energy rings that surround the gray-robed magician. "Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction!" A pillar of light shines behind him. "I Synchro Summon! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" Yugo's best monster emerges with a roar.

"Sure, Nobledragon has to retreat to the bottom of my deck since Celestial Magician isn't an Odd-Eyes monster, but it's worth it."
"Odd-Eyes and Clear Wing. You'll never be able to beat my Queen Dancer with cards like those." The Doktor taunted.
"In that case, why don't I bring out an old friend? I activate Pendulum Xyz!" Yuya plays another Spell card. "This lets me summon the two monsters that are in my Pendulum Zones by negating their abilities. Pendulum Sorcerer, Odd-Eyes Unicorn, come on down." The two monsters leave the Pendulum Zone and take their places on the field.

"And thanks to its effect, I can use these two to Xyz Summon."
"But their Levels are completely different. There's no way you can Xyz Summon anything with them." The Doktor informed him.
"Normally, that'd be true, but thanks to Pendulum Xyz, I can treat Odd-Eyes Unicorn's Level as the same as Pendulum Sorcerer's." Odd-Eyes Unicorn glows green for a second as its Level rises.
Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn: Level 1→4
"No way!" The Doktor yelped.
"Yes way! Now I can overlay Level 4 Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer and Odd-Eyes Unicorn in order to build the Overlay Network!" Pendulum Sorcerer turns into purple energy while Odd-Eyes Unicorn transforms into yellow energy. They both shoot into the air and enter a swirling galaxy portal. A beam of light shoots out once they enter.
"Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective. I call upon the most dangerous of dragons." Yuya chants as the monster forms in the dark clouds. "I Xyz Summon! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto's favorite monster emerges with a roar, its two Overlay Units orbiting around it.

"As I said before, your monsters stand no chance against my Parasite Queen Dancer."
"You're right. That's why I've decided… to tribute all of them." Yuya declares as all his monsters disappear one by one.
"Have you lost your mind? That move will leave you wide open." The Doktor said in total surprise.
"Not quite. There's a monster I can only summon by tributing every one of my monsters, including a Dragon Pendulum monster. This is something that I and only I can achieve." He reveals a card that's in his hand, one the Doktor hasn't seen in his deck before: All-Eyes Phantom Dragon.
"Witness the ascension of All-Eyes Phantom Dragon!" Yuya's monster has traits of monsters Yuya has used in his battle against Eve: Dark Anthelion Dragon's tail, Clearwing Fast Dragon's wings, Starving Venemy Dragon's horns, and Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon's orbs and chest. The dragon emerges with a mighty roar.
All-Eyes Phantom Dragon: Level 10/ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500/PS: 0
"So, it's come down to this." The Doktor spoke. "Both our monsters are equal in strength."
"Yes, but my All-Eyes doesn't like to be alone. I activate Monster Reborn to bring back Astrograph Sorcerer from the Grave." Yuya uses Monster Reborn. The time-altering sorcerer reappears.
Astrograph Sorcerer: Level 7/ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000
"Yuya, I probably know what it is you're planning, and I must say that it's a bad idea." Yuto warned him.
"I know it is, but it's our only chance of winning this." Yuya assured. "If Z-ARC was able to control this dragon, so can I."
"Doktor! You're about to see what it means to stare into the face of fear! I banish Astrograph Sorcerer from the field, along with the four legendary dragons in my deck and Graveyard to unleash their true power! Guide me to victory, Astrograph Sorcerer!" Yuya chants as Astrograph Sorcerer disappears. "Channel the energies of Yuto's Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, Yugo's Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Yuri's Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, and my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Let their powers combine into one!" Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing, Starving Venom, and Odd-Eyes fall into a dark abyss. A crimson cloud forms above the duelists.
"One mighty dragon, stronger than all others. With our combined power, we will bring a smile to every dimension! Prepare to reunite." Yuya chants as the monster forms. "Reunite as one!" Yuya and his other selves call out. A pair of large, amalgamated wings protrude from the cloud. A menacing dragon head is seen within the cloud. One flap of the wings and the cloud is blown away, revealing the dragon's full dark grey body with lime green lines down its body and tan sections on its wing blades, hips, and horns. The dragon roars upon arrival.

"The ultimate union of the four strongest dragons. Pendulum, Xyz, Synchro, Fusion, all these powers are under my command. With the mightiest power of each of the Four Dimensions, combined into one! Together, they create the universe's mightiest dragon: Supreme King Z-ARC!" Yuya finishes his chant.
The Doktor is in complete shock when he sees that dragon. "Supreme King… Z-ARC?!"
"I didn't think he'd pull it off, but he did. He's in complete control of Z-ARC's power." Yusei smiled.
"Doktor, your schemes of revenge are coming to an end. And Z-ARC is going to help me with it, because with his arrival, all your monsters are destroyed, and you take damage equal to their combined attack points." Yuya declared as red lightning crashes down around Parasite Queen Dancer.
"You'll never be able to beat me! Never! I remove a counter from Parasite Queen Dancer to protect her from destruction." The Doktor declares as a barrier appears, deflecting the lightning.
"If I can't take it down, then I'll just do it the old-fashioned way." Yuya places a face-down card on his field and races for an Action Card. "All-Eyes Phantom Dragon, attack Parasite Queen Dancer."
"You're really looking forward to lose. All I have to do is take another counter off my Queen Dancer and she'll be safe." The Doktor said. Yuya grabs another Action Card.
"I'm activating the Action Spell High Dive. It gives my All-Eyes 1000 extra Attack Points." All-Eyes glows green before roaring.
All-Eyes Phantom Dragon: ATK: 3000→4000
"1000 points of damage won't bother me." The Doktor smirked.
"That's where you're wrong." Yuya countered. "I have All-Eyes' special ability. When it battles your monster, its attack points are doubled."
The Doktor snarls. "If you think you can defeat me, you're sadly mistaken! I activate Parasite Spell! With a Parasite monster on the field, I can activate a Spell from either of our Graveyards." A spell emerges from the Graveyard, revealed as Zero Penalty. "And the card I choose is the Action Spell Zero Penalty that's in my Graveyard! It makes your monster's attack points drop to zero. So, Yuya, how does it feel to lose to the most superior scientific genius of all time?"
Yuya smirks. "You know, for someone who said he's the greatest scientific genius, you're not that smart."
"What are you talking about? You're about to lose to me!"
"If anyone here's losing, it's you! I activate All-Eyes' second ability!" Yuya declares his counter move. "Once a turn, when you activate a Spell or Trap card or effect, I can send one of my Spell or Trap cards to the Graveyard to negate it. And the card I'm negating is Parasite Spell! All-Eyes Creation!" The orb in All-Eyes' chest glows and Parasite Spell's colors invert before disappearing. The Doktor gasps in total horror.
"And like I said earlier, since All-Eyes is battling your monster, its Attack Points double during damage." All-Eyes roars with increased might from the glowing orb.
All-Eyes Phantom Dragon: ATK: 4000→8000
"No… No, this can't be happening. I was so close to finally defeating you and putting the past behind me!" The Doktor whimpered.
"Let this be a lesson, Doktor: revenge is never the answer to anything! Everything's set now, All-Eyes. Let's bring an end to the Doktor's reign of tyranny once and for all! All-Eyes Spiral Breath!" All-Eyes fires a spiraling blast of blue flames from its mouth, enveloping Parasite Queen Dancer. She screeches in pain before evaporating in the flames. The Doktor wails as he is sent crashing into the barrier. He slowly slides down the transparent barrier before falling face-first.

The platforms and Yuya's monsters disappear. "He did it! He won!" Jaden cheered.
"Never a doubt in my mind!" Yusei applauded. Playmaker sees the barrier deactivate and the vat of sleep potion close. The cage opens.
"You did it, Yuya!" Skye thanked the Dueltainer.
"We watched the whole thing." Alexis said. "I was expecting you to play Z-ARC or All-Eyes, but I didn't think you'd summon them both at the same time."
"That's something I'd expect from the greatest Dueltainer." Zuzu said, revealing a warm blush. "Yuya, while I watched the duel from the cage, I saw how amazing you were. I was scared when you were about to lose, but your moves completely turned it around. And… I'm happy that you won. In fact, er…" Zuzu began to trail off.
"Zuzu…" Yuya spoke. "If you're going to say what you need to say, just say it."
Zuzu tried to think of the words she needed to say, but all she could think of was Yuya's pleased smile. Rather than voice her emotions, she grabbed Yuya's jacket and pulled him into a passionate kiss. As much as Yuya wanted to resist, he felt something in his chest beating a mile a minute. He wrapped his arms around Zuzu's midsection and embraced the kiss.
"Zuzu…" Alexis breathed, showing a blush on her cheeks. Yuya and Zuzu break from the kiss.
"Wow… Zuzu, I didn't believe you'd think of me like that." Yuya spoke, blushing.
"Well, actions do speak louder than words." Zuzu said. "So, let that kiss be my declaration."
"Zuzu…"
"Yuya…" The two of them share another loving kiss before the Doktor starts groaning. They break from the kiss to see him come to, his teeth gritted together, his eyes twitching, and his face red with uncontrollable rage.
"Yuya… Sakaki…" The Doktor seethed before taking out a stun baton. "You may have beaten me, but I will still destroy you!" He roared with total anger as he rushed towards Yuya, stun baton in hand. Yuya tried to run, but he was paralyzed with fear. Luckily, before the Doktor took a swing, his body suddenly became filled with electricity. He cries out in pain. His body is slightly charred from the electricity. He fell forward, revealing Celina with a stun baton of her own.
"You need to be more careful, especially with lunatics like him." Celina pointed to the Doktor's motionless body. She approaches Yuya. "And if anyone's laying their hands on you, it's me." She then caressed his face. "This is for Yuri when you have the chance." She follows by giving him a brief kiss on his lips.
Yuya blushes, then clears his throat. "Ahem. O-Okay, but it would've been better if you have given him that yourself."
Yuma looks at the Doktor. "Is he…?"
"Relax, Yuma. He'll wake up in a few hours." Celina assured before switching back to Zuzu.
"Let's get out of here." Zuzu said. Playmaker than proceeded to activate his transporter. Yuya started holding Zuzu's hand before everyone disappeared, leaving the charred and unconscious Doktor on the floor.
