{"You're not half as clever as you think you are, Rose!"}

A week later, after a lot of pouting from Rose who was being a child after we told her no more boyfriends; of course I said Mickey would be the acceptation to which Rose didn't like at all. Theta and I had stayed together doing things to keep us away from her; wether it be swimming, reading, cooking, having amazing sex. We just needed to get away from the brat roaming the halls thinking she owned the place.

Till finally today, both Theta and I had been in the console room. He was fixing underneath it while I was reading peacefully both of us just happy to be in each other's presence then she came in with a sudden look on her face.

"Peter Alan Tyler my dad. The most wonderful man in the world. Born 15th September 1954. That's what Mum always says. So I was thinking, could we, could we go and see my dad when he was still alive?" I cleared my throat and raised an eyebrow. My mind not gut where trusting this suggestion that had come from her.

"Where's this come from, all of a sudden?" Theta asked confused and suspicious at the same time. It was already dangerous having someone like her on board to cause trouble but now she wanted to cross timelines. I definitely didn't like this. "All right then, if we can't, if it goes against the laws of times or something, then never mind, just leave it." My mouth dropped open as she manipulated Theta and he actually fell for it as she smirked at him.

"No, I can do anything. I'm just more worried about you."

"I want to see him."

"Your wish is my command. But be careful what you wish for."

I groaned in frustration at threw my hands up in the air. Here we go I guess.

—————-

The Doctor, Rose and I attend her parent's wedding. "I, Peter Alan Tyler, take you, Jacqueline Angela Suzette Prentice"

"I, Peter Alan Tyler, take you, Jacqueline Suzanne Suzette Anita-"

"Oh, just carry on. It's good enough for Lady Di." Jackie interrupted, I never actually met the women but Theta didn't like her that was for sure. Apparently she smacked the shit out him, and while I only get to do that; it probably would have been entertaining to watch. "I thought he'd be taller." Rose whispered to us as the ceremony continued. "To be my lawful wedded wife, to love and behold till death us do part."

——————-

"I want to be that someone, so he doesn't die alone." Rose spoke as we entered the Tardis again, "November the 7th?" Theta asked as he moved around the console. "1987." The time rotor starts up. "I don't like this. I hope you know that this isn't going to end well." Theta sighed an turned to me with a frown, " I know. I'm sorry. I just want to give her one more shot. If she doesn't pass this test I will be more stern with her." I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him. "Look, we both know that I have to be the bad guy. So I won't make you do that but if I say no then you better listen to me or no sex." His eyes widened as he gapped at me, "Just no sex?" I chuckled at gave him an evil look. "No touching for a month and you'll be sleeping somewhere else. Plus I won't talk to you."

He practically whimpered as he nodded quickly at the deal.

—————-

The Tardis has parked herself between a telephone junction box and a road sign, by park railings. Never Can Say Goodbye is playing somewhere. "It's so weird. The day my father died. I thought it'd be all sort of grim and stormy. It's just an ordinary day." Rose spiked quietly as we walked down the road. "The past is another country. 1987's just the Isle of Wight. Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah. This is it. Jordan Road. He was late. He'd been to get a wedding present, a vase. Mum always said, that stupid vase." A green van comes around the corner. D602 PKW "He got out of his car." It pulls into the kerb. "And crossed the road. Oh, God. This is it." As Pete gets out of the van, the Doctor takes Rose's hand. A beige car comes round the corner - NEH 793W - and straight into Pete. The driver shields his face with his arm and keeps going, leaving Pete and the broken vase in the middle of the road. Pete tries to move.

"Go to him, quick." But she can't. Later, round the corner, as sirens approach. "It's too late now. By the time the ambulance got there, he was dead. He can't die on his own. Can I try again?" I shake my head with a bad feeling about this. My heart is pounding, I don't like this at all. Something was gonna happen, "I don't have a good feeling." Theta squeezed my hand as we walked behind Rose for the second time to the street her father died.

The Doctor looks round the corner to see us by the kerbside. He paused causing me to frown, "Even your back is sexy as hell, my love." I suddenly blushed brightly as his voice drifted through my mind. Clearing my throat I shifted an glared subtly at the older man who smirked at me. "Right, that's the first you and me. It's a very bad idea, two sets of us being here at the same time. Just be careful they don't see us. Wait till she runs off and he follows, then go to your dad." Pete parks at the kerb. "You don't have to do anything you don't want to, but this is the last time we can be here."

Suddenly as my feelings predicted Rose runs forward as Pete is getting out of the van. "Rose! No!" Rose dashes past her earlier self and pushes her father out of the path of the beige car. The vase rolls away, unbroken. The earlier Doctor, Rose and I vanish.

As Rose and her father talk, I turn to Theta who winced under my gaze and growled in anger. "I won't say I told you so because I know you wanted to give her a chance. But my love, I've noticed that since I've come back she seems to be allowed to do whatever she wants. Boundaries do need to be set or she will do something worse than saving her father." I explained causing him to frown and look at me before looking up at her as she looked over too. He shot her a glare before grabbing my hand purposely pulling me closer and walking towards her. His hand slipping around my waist causing her to shoot a glare herself.

—————-

"Right, there we go. Sorry about the mess. If you want a cup of tea, the kitchens just down there, milk's in the fridge. Well, it would be, wouldn't it. Where else would you put the milk? Mind you, there's always the window sill outside. I always thought if someone invented a window sill with special compartments, you know, one for milk, one for yogurt, make a lot of money out of that. Sell it to students and things. I should write that down. Anyway, never mind that, excuse me for a minute. Got to go and change." Pete goes to the bedroom. "All the stuff mum kept. His stuff. She kept it all packed away in boxes in the cupboard. She used to show me when she'd had a bit to drink. Here it is, on display. Where it should be. Third prize at the bowling. First two got to go to Didcot. Health drinks. Tonics, mum used to call them. He made his money selling this Vitex stuff. He had all sorts of jobs. He was so clever. Solar power. Mum said he was going to do this. Now he can. Okay, look I'll tell him you're not my boyfriend."

I glared at her statement while Theta stared at her in disbelief and hurt. "I'm not your boyfriend anyway, Rose. When we met, I said travel with me in space. You said no. Then I said time machine." Rose suddenly got what he was trying to say, "It wasn't some big plan. I just saw it happening and I thought, I can stop it." She shrugged like it was no big deal causing Theta to snap. "I did it again. I picked another stupid ape. I should've known. It's not about showing you the universe. It never is. It's about the universe doing something for you."

"So it's okay when you go to other times, and you save people's lives, but not when it's me saving my dad." Rose yelled out causing me to step up "We know what we're doing, you don't. Two sets of us being there made that a vulnerable point." I growled causing her to get close to my face "But he's alive!" She snarled back causing Theta to grab me before I did something stupid. "Our entire planet died. Our whole family. I thought Kate had died! Do you think it never occurred to me to go back and save them? To save her?"

"But it's not like I've changed history. Not much. I mean he's never going to be a world leader. He's not going to start World War Three or anything." She insisted with a dark look, "Rose, there's a man alive in the world who wasn't alive before. An ordinary man. That's the most important thing in creation. The whole world's different because he's alive." I explained trying to calm my anger as she shook her head "What, would you rather him dead?"

"I'm not saying that." I growled causing her to scoff and I couldn't hold it in anymore. "You're not as clever as you think you are, Rose! Life doesn't revolve around you and The Doctor sure as hell doesn't either. He doesn't have to take your side or listen to you! The TARDIS isn't yours either. So let's see how you get on without us, then. Give me the key. The Tardis key. If I'm so insignificant, give it me back." I placed my hand out causing her to glare and scoff, "yeah rig-" Theta suddenly stepped in, "Give it Rose. Now"

"All right then, I will." Rose hands over the key. "You've got what you wanted, so that's goodbye, then."

"You don't scare me. I know how sad you are. You'll be back in a minute, or you'll hang around outside the Tardis waiting for me. And I'll make you wait a long time!" Theta suddenly laughs at her and pulls me close, "Was! And only for a little while Rose. While I was trying to process the lose of her. Yes I was lonely but now that I have her I don't need you anymore."

The Doctor pulls me along and Rose slams the door behind us. As soon as we got to the street I turned and grabbed him by his jacket; pulling him down for seering kiss. It was deep and passionate. Pulling away, he sighed happily like all of the stress was gone. "I love you" He placed his head against mine with a soft smile. "I love you too."

We arrived outside of the Tardis when he looks up for a moment. Pausing Theta looks up at the sky as if he can fell something, I had noticed myself that it was getting colder. He unlocks the doors and opens them to reveal an empty police telephone box. The Tardis interior is missing, my eyes widening as a sudden dark feeling washed over me. "Rose!" Theta growled as he grabbed my hand and ran towards the church where she would be with her father.

The car that should have killed Pete is behind them. Pete turns a corner, it drives straight on then vanishes.

A little boy runs straight into the church with us right behind him before we end up behind Rose. "Rose!" She turned with a smug smile only for it to fade out as a large thing with bat-like wings appears in the sky. It hisses and starts to swoop. "Get in the church!"

Rose screams as Theta pushes her to the pavement just in time to avoid its talons. I immediately get to work ushering people towards the church, "Get in the church!" I yell as two more appear. "Oh, my God. What are they? What are they?" The bride asked as Theta pushed everyone in as well. "Inside!"

"Sarah!"

"Stay in there!"

A man tries to run away, but he gets pounced on. Another blocks the bride's path to the church, but when she screams it flies off and pounces on the vicar instead, "In!" I shout as we finally get the bride's party inside and slams the doors on the creatures. They can be seen flying around outside.

"They can't get in. Old windows and doors. Okay. The older something is, the stronger it is. What else? Go and check the other doors! Move!" He pushed passed people as Jackie steps in front of him. "What's happening? What are they? What are they?" Theta sighed, highly annoyed with everything right now. I knew the feeling well enough.

"There's been an accident in time. A wound in time. They're like bacteria, taking advantage." I explain causing her to look towards me to which he sent me a grateful look. "What do you mean, time? What're you jabbering on about, time?" She asked harshly definitely not believing a word I had said. "Oh, I might've known you'd argue. Jackie, I'm sick of you complaining." Theta got up in her face causing me to snort.

"How do you know my name?" She asked with a irritated look causing Theta to roll his eyes. "I haven't got time for this." I could definitely see where Rose gets her annoying attitude. The saying Like Mother, Like Daughter has never been truer.

"I've never met you in my life!"

"No, and you never will unless I sort this out. Now, if you don't mind, I've waited a long time to say this. Jackie Tyler, do as I say. Go and check the doors."

I couldn't help but smirk as she gulped and nodded "Yes, sir." She took off for the doors causing me to raise an eyebrow at him to which he sighed clearly pleased with himself. "I should have done that ages ago." Not that I would ever admit it but that was extremely hot and if the world wasn't ending I would totally take him to a back room and let him fuck my brains out.

"My dad was out there." The groom spoke causing me to snap out of my thoughts as Theta placed a hand on his shoulder with a sad nod. "You can mourn him later. Right now we've got to concentrate on keeping ourselves alive."

"My dad had-" I sighed as I stepped up, "There's nothing I can do for him." I told the man but he just shook his head at me. "No, but he had this phone thing. I can't get it to work. I keep getting this voice."

"Watson, come here. I need you. Watson, come here. I need you." I raised an eyebrow as Theta smiled slightly excited even with the situation we were in. "That's the very first phone call. Alexander Graham Bell. I don't think the telephone's going to be much use."

"But someone must have called the police." The groom insisted causing me to shake my head. "Police can't help you now. No one can. Nothing in this universe can harm those things. Time's been damaged and they've come to sterilise the wound. By consuming everything inside." I spoke towards everyone causing them to start flipping out. "Is this because? Is this my fault?" Rose asked us with a distressed look causing me to scoff.

All laid out for the signing of the register, "There's smoke coming up from the city but no sirens. I don't think it's just us. I think these things are all over the place. Maybe the whole world." The beige car appears at the corner, turns, the driver covers his face and it disappears again. "Was that a car?" I turn to Theta who sighed heavily an shakes his head. "It's not important. Don't worry about it."

We both walk away but before we get to everyone else I pull him to the side. "You're planning on trying to turn the world back and save her dad, aren't you." He looked at me with a broken look causing my heart to ache. I suddenly couldn't help but tear up as I gently placed a hand on his face. "We lose our home. Our future. Our family's. And you still have enough love in you to save someone. I knew there was a reason I fell in love with you. My hero." I smiled at him causing him to gently laugh, "You would do the same." I shook my head and gave him a soft look. "I don't know if I would. While I was in that place for over fifty years, I heard a lot of things, felt things from that Dalek. I had time to think an sometimes I would let the shield down so the could torture me. I was in a dark place and I still am, so no I don't think I would do the same." He stared at me in shock with tears in his eyes before he placed a kiss on my forehead.

"You would. Because I know who you truly are and that's why I fell in love with you. This body may not feel the empathy it used to but I promise your next self will love just as mischievously as I do." I burst into tears causing him to pull me close. I couldn't help it, he was my hero. I knew in my darkest times he would be my light at the end of the tunnel.

I am so lucky to have him.

Meanwhile, a creature is head-butting a side door. We finally pull away and head back into the main area where The Doctor pulls the curtain aside and gets out his sonic screwdriver. "Excuse me, Mister" The groom approached causing me to chuckle lightly, "Doctor." We both stated but were ignored. "You seem to know what's going on." He insisted with a frown.

"I give that impression, yeah." I snorted and smacked him on the back causing him to smirk back at me. "I just wanted to ask" The bride stepped up and interrupted "Can you save us?" She asked as she placed a hand on her swollen stomach, "Who are you two, then?" Theta asked as he nodded to them.

"Stuart Hoskins."

"Sarah Clark."

"And one extra. Boy or girl?" I asked happily as she allowed me to place a gentle hand on her stomach. I smiled brightly when the little one kicked at my hand, "I don't know. I don't want to know, really." Looking up at Theta I blushed when I noticed the way he was watching my reaction to the child. Both of us wanted children, it had been a long dream but because of certain rules I couldn't have children on Gallifrey until after I became Queen and was married off. It was the one thing I hated the most because they forced me in a invisible shield which didn't allowed pregnancy unless the prohibited it. It had surrounded the entirety of my home and since I wasn't allowed to leave, I never could get pregnant. The only thing that I could do was have Theta visit and they did allow him and his humans to stay with me when they came back but only because I threatened to ruin their plan for me.

"How did all this get started?"

"Outside the Beatbox Club, two in the morning."

"Street corner. I'd lost my purse, didn't have money for a taxi." Sarah started, both smiling fondly at the memory. "I took her home." Stuart continued, "Then what? Asked her for a date?" I asked, I wanted to know more about them. They seem like great people and I knew they would have a good future with the little one they were expecting.

"Wrote his number on the back of my hand." She smiled brightly looking over at him. "Never got rid of her since. My dad said." Stuart laughed as he pulled her close. "I don't know what this is all about, and I know we're not important." Sarah gave a half sad smile as she looked at us, I couldn't help but see myself a little in her. "Who said you're not important? I've travelled to all sorts of places, done things you couldn't even imagine, but you two. Street corner, two in the morning, getting a taxi home. I've never had a life like that. Yes. I'll try and save you."

The Doctor is talking to baby Rose in her carrycot by the choir stalls. "Now, Rose you're not going to bring about the end of the world, are you? Are you?" I laughed and shook my head as

Rose walks up. "Jackie gave her to me to look after. How times change." He scoffed gently as he held baby Rose.

He would make a wonderful father.

"I'd better be careful. I think I just imprinted myself on Mickey like a mother chicken." She reached to touch herself causing me to slap her hand away. "No. Don't touch the baby. You're both the same person. That's a paradox, and we don't want a paradox happening, not with these things outside. Anything new, any disturbance in time makes them stronger. The paradox might let them in." I explained harshly as she glared at me for hitting her hand. "Can't do anything right, can I?" She sighed sadly.

"Since you ask, no. So, don't touch the baby." I snarled at her, keeping myself between them. "I'm not stupid." She spoke slowly with a glare, "You could have fooled me."

There was a long pause between the three of us before Theta sighed "All right, I wasn't really going to leave you on your own." She smiled smugly, "I know." He sighed and rolled his eyes at her attitude. "But I haven't got a plan. No idea. No way out."

"You'll think of something."

"The entire Earth's been sterilised. This, and other place like it, are all that's left of the human race. We might hold out for a while, but nothing can stop those creatures. They'll get through in the end. The walls aren't that old. And there's nothing I can do to stop them. There used to be laws stopping this kind of thing from happening. My people would have stopped this. But they're all gone. And now I'm going the same way."

"If I'd realised."

"Just tell me you're sorry." Theta told her with a frown. "I am. I'm sorry." They hug causing a pit to form in my stomach as she nuzzles closer to him. Looking away I had to hold it in, Why was I so damn pissed?

"My love, are you okay?" Looking up I noticed he was watching me while she hugged him. He was worried, I could tell by the look on his face and just when I was about to tell him I was he started to push her away. Clearly setting a boundary now that he could see it was bothering me.

"Have you got something hot?"She reaches into his inside pocket, takes out a key and drops it because it is glowing hot. "It's the Tardis key!" I laughed out as he takes off his jacket to pick it up safely. "It's telling me it's still connected to the Tardis." He makes an announcement from the pulpit. "The inside of my ship was thrown out of the wound but we can use this to bring it back. And once I've got my ship back, then I can mend everything. Now, I just need a bit of power. Has anybody got a battery?"Stuart picks up the mobile phone. "This one big enough?"

"Fantastic." Theta smiled brightly as he looked towards me causing me to laugh. "Good old dad. There you go." Stuart laughs it off. "Just need to do a bit of charging up and then we can bring everyone back." He uses the ever-versatile sonic screwdriver while the creatures batter at the doors. Pete and Rose have a quiet chat.

The Tardis slowly materialises around her key.

"Right, no one touches that key. Have you got that? Don't touch it. Anyone touches that key, it'll be, well, zap. Just leave it be and everything will be fine. We'll get out of here. All of us. Stuart, Sarah you're going to get married, just like I said." Outside, the car repeats its brief drive around the corner. Inside, the Tardis is fading in and out. I continued to watch from the window as Theta goes to talk to Rose and Pete. These people, so many timelines changing because of one decision by a girl who couldn't except it. Sighing, I looked down at my hands; Why? Why did she have to make it all about her? And why do I look at her and Theta and hate so much? Looking back up, I couldn't help but tear up; I hate myself for being this way.

"Oh, for God's sake, look. It's the same Rose!" Pete insisted loudly causing me to look over.

Pete takes baby Rose from Jackie and hands her to Rose. My eyes widened as I run for them only to be to late. "Rose! No!" The Doctor snatches her away too late and gives her back to Jackie. A creature appears inside the Church. "Everyone, behind me! I'm the oldest thing in here." I glared at him for pushing me behind him. He wasn't the only one who was old, and I wasn't about to lose him either. "Doctor!" The creature pounces for Theta just as I move in front of him and everything goes dark.

—————-

Everything was dark that much was clear. I could hear him but I couldn't see him. He was angry. So angry. The world started to change as I looked down to a light glowing in my hands. "What the hell?" I muttered as the blur color began to change to white, then maroon soon a red before finally stopping with a purple. This light, it was a power I possessed as the last Princess but it wasn't to be awakened until I became Queen so why is it showing up now.

"In due time. You will find out soon enough. Be patient for the time will come and you will understand."

Everything started to fade out as I reached for the green light that had been speaking. "Wait! What is happening?"

———————

Pete runs out of the church, clutching the vase. A creature spots him. He runs to the corner, where the car appears. The driver flings his arm across his face. "Goodbye, love."The vase drops and breaks. The creatures vanish and I open my eyes, standing in the same spot as before. Walking out of the church I found Theta and Rose watching as her dad slowly dies.

"Go to him. Quick." I spoke as Theta turned to me and pulled me into a hug. Rose runs to her dying father. This time, the driver has stopped at the scene. Pete dies gazing into Rose's eyes. "What's that?" Stuart's dad comes out of the church.

Rose kisses Pete farewell then stands up and looks at the Doctor and I. "Peter Alan Tyler, my dad. The most wonderful man in the world. Died the 7th of November, 1987." The Tardis has relocated to outside the Tandoori across the road. As we walk towards it, Rose looks away sad; while I understood that it was her father and I would do anything to get Theta back if he had died but she almost ruined the world.

I couldn't feel bad about the little girl who tried to make everything about her but I did understand for a moment why she did what she did. Looking up at Theta as he grabbed my hand, his face turned up gently to give me a smile and his grip tightened.

A silent I love you rang through us as we continued to our home.

Yes this one is shorter than the other one because it was mostly in Rose's POV in the show but in this fanfic it's in my OCs POV.
