{"You can't blame this one on her."}
My body was thrown on the bed as he climbed on top, trailing kisses along my body I moaned as his hands began exploring his new territory. "Theta. Don't tease." I panted causing him to smirk as he looked up at me before lowering himself further down my body. Pushing my dress up, I moaned as his lips left a trail on each inner thigh as he slowly explored my body. His eyes watching me and he continued his mission and let me tell you it was the hottest thing I've ever seen.
Slipping his hand into my panties, I gasped and arched my back as his fingers worked their way into my core. My hips thrusting in rhythm as he licked his lips in lust. Watching me closely until he found his favorite spot causing me to see stars. "Theta!" I moaned out as he let me have my release. He moaned and he placed his fingers in his mouth making sure to keep eye contact with me.
"You taste good, my love." His eyes were dark, I watched as he began to undress himself, before doing the same for me. I sat up and looked down to his beautiful cock, "Well this one will be a fun ride." I teased biting my lip as I ran my hand along his shaft. He grunted and thrusted into me before grabbing my hand and shaking his head. "Another time. Right now I want to feel this new you." I blushed as he used my slick to get himself ready to enter me.
Every regeneration, we women heal everything including our core. So I was technically a virgin again but I've been a virgin multiple times with him so by now he knew exactly what he was doing seeing as he was the only one who ever had sex with me. Rubbing himself against me I moaned as he slipped himself in slowly, allowing me to adjust. Sitting up I pulled him closer to me and pulled him down before wrapping my legs around him to push him deeper inside.
We both gushed at the feeling, our bodies become anew with each other as we become one once again. His thrusts started off slow before he picked up speed; slamming into me. Our moans echoing throughout the room as the bed slammed against the wall. "That's it babygirl." He gushed as I pulled him even closer and thrusts my hips in tune with his. "I'm about to cum." He hissed out causing me to cry out in pleasure, not even a minute later we both came together. He pushed himself further into me causing me to gasp as I felt his seed fill me up.
I was so warm inside. He chuckled, placing a kiss upon my lips before laying down on his side; keeping himself within me he turned me over as well so I would be comfortable. "Goodnight, my love. I love you so so much." I muttered causing him to practically purr in happiness and pull me even closer. "I love you too. So so so much."

Theta is starting to power up the Tardis with me as we moved around the console in sink. Smiling and laughing with one another, while outside Jackie and Mickey are with Rose, who has a heavy rucksack on her back. Since Christmas, Rose had been avoiding me but I knew she was up to something. The moment she gets an opportunity she was going to take it.
Theta leaned over to give me a kiss, happily expressing his love for me which I didn't mind at all. Laughing I ran a hand through his hair, I really liked this new him. He was adorable. He head leaned into my touch as I placed my hand on his cheek. He hummed and nuzzled closer, "I love you." I muttered causing him to smile, his brown eyes shining. "I love you too."
"Bye." Jackie turns her back and walks away as the Tardis dematerialises. Rose turning to us as Theta flicked a lever, it was silent. After he made it clear that he wasn't going to put up with her attitude against me she was allowed to come with. Theta though made me promise to tell him if she did anything behind his back and after every adventure to show him my memories.
I argued of course but he wouldn't take no for an answer so I made him promise to give her three chances. He didn't like it but I convinced him. It may seem stupid that we did this but it was the only way he felt he could protect me other than actually physically and he wasn't the type to get physical with his companions. I cleared my throat as Rose stared us down before she blinked and made her way up to us.
"So where are we going?" She asked throwing her bag down, to which the TARDIS angrily hummed. I sighed an went to move it to the wall so she could teleport it to Rose's room.
After what had happened, the TARDIS seemed to disapprove of Rose even more than before. Which was another reason she was upset with Theta. I told her not to be but she just complained and didn't listen to a word I said. "Further than we've ever gone before." Theta smiled brightly at me as I walked back up just as he pulled another lever.
—————
The Tardis has materialised across the river from a massive city. Flying cars zoom overhead as we step out. Theta grabs my hand as I smile at the sky, the breeze was definitely nice. "It's the year five billion and twenty three. We're in the galaxy M87, and this? This is New Earth." I laughed as he explained watching me, "That's just. That's just-" Rose gapped in shock, "Not bad. Not bad at all." I told him looking up at him causing him to proudly smile back at me. "That's amazing. I'll never get used to this. Never. Different ground beneath my feet, different sky. What's that smell?" Rose asked as she jumped around with a smile.
Theta smiled at her, honestly it made me a happy to see him happy. I know he can hold a grudge and after what Rose did; I didn't want him to hate her. It was okay if I did because she was aiming her anger at me and that's just who I am, but Theta always loved his companions. That's just who he was,
"Apple grass." He spoke causing her to repeat. "Apple grass."
"Yeah, yeah." I nodded causing her to nod back. I could tell she was trying her hardest. It was taking everything within her to be nice to me in front of him. "It's beautiful. Oh, I love this. Can I just say, travelling with you, I love it." She reached for his hand but he pulled it away and gave a tight smile. "Me too. Come on." I sighed as he pulled me along leaving Rose behind who was frowning at us.
—————
Theta and I are relaxing on his long coat looking at the city. Rose had plopped down on his other side but he didn't allow her to sit on his coat. "So, the year five billion, the sun expands, the Earth gets roasted." Theta started with a smile, "That was our first date." Rose turned to him with a smile of her own only to find him frowning at her to which she frowned back and looked away.
Letting out a sigh I placed a hand on his arm causing him to move close and continue on. "So anyway, planet gone, all rocks and dust, but the human race lives on, spread out across the stars. Soon as the Earth burns up, oh yeah, they get all nostalgic, big revival movement, but then find this place. Same size as the Earth, same air, same orbit. Lovely. Call goes out, the humans move in."
"What's the city called?" Rose asked trying to get his attention, "New New York." I stated looking up at the sky with a peaceful smile. "Oh, come on." Rose scoffed in disbelief, she wasn't being rude this time she was just honestly shock. "It is. It's the city of New New York. Strictly speaking, it's the fifteenth New York since the original, so that makes it New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York. What?" He asked looking at Rose who was smiling at him.
"You're so different." She shakes her head with a laugh causing him to shrug and look towards me with a wink, "New New Doctor." He teased causing me to laugh as well.
Rose started to get up, trying to keep her hair out her face she smiles down at him, "Can we go and visit New New York, so good they named it twice?" She asked with her tongue between her teeth. "Well, I thought we might go there first." Theta pointed at an elegant pair of curved skyscrapers standing apart from the city on their side of the river. "Why, what is it?" Rose asked with a squinted look, "Some sort of hospital. Green moon on the side. That's the universal symbol for hospitals. He got this. A message on the psychic paper." I pointed to his psychic paper he pulled out which says -Ward 26 Please Come.
"Someone wants to see me." Theta clicked his tongue with a slight frown. "Hmm. And I thought we were just sight-seeing. Come on, then. Let's go and buy some grapes." Rose laughed as we followed her down, Theta making sure to grab my hand.
——————
We walk into a massive area, courtesy of the Wales Millennium Centre, "Bit rich coming from you." Rose scoffed causing Theta to shrug. "I can't help it. I don't like hospitals. They give me the creeps." He defends causing me to laugh lightly and grab his hand.
"The Pleasure Gardens will now take visitors carrying green or blue identification cards for the next fifteen minutes. Visitors are reminded that cuttings from the gardens are not permitted."
"Very smart. Not exactly NHS." I muttered causing Theta to pout as he looked around the place. "No shop. I like the little shop." I smiled but rolled my eyes at the dork, "I thought this far in the future, they'd have cured everything." Rose muttered as she took in the place.
"The human race moves on, but so do the viruses. It's an ongoing war." I spoke; Rose finally notices the faces of the nursing staff in their nun-like wimples and habits. "They're cats." She whispers in shock, staring at them.
"Now, don't stare. Think what you look like to them, all pink and yellow. That's where I'd put the shop. Right there." He pointed before walking towards the lift making sure to drag me along. Steeping into I noticed Rose had been distracted and had fallen behind. "Ward 26, thanks!" Taking a deep breath I frowned, I definitely wasn't going to like what was about to happen and nor would Theta.
"Hold on! Hold on!" Rose shouted as she finally spotted us just as the doors where closing. "Oh, too late. I'm going up." Theta nonchalantly responded, he honestly didn't care anymore. I looked up at him with a sad look. I really didn't want him to not care about any of his companions. He looked down at me and gave me a wide smile. "It's all right, there's another lift." She spoke through the door.
"Ward 26, And watch out for the disinfectant."
"Watch out for what?"
"The disinfectant!"
"The what?"
"The disin- Oh, you'll find out." He muttered with an eye roll, "You don't have to hate her because of me. That's the last thing I wanted." I muttered causing him to look down at me with a sigh.
"Commence stage one disinfection."
He grabs my shoulder and turned me to him as we suddenly got drenched with disinfectant. "You are my one and only, I have never put you second and I have proved that many times. She is just a human, you are my only." I teared up as the water stopped, The next stage is a blow dry. I nod and pull him close, standing on my tip toes to kiss him.
We didn't stop kissing until the doors up, I pull away with a smile. "I love you." He smiled back so brightly, " I love you too."
"Please report to reception."
We are escorted by a veiled nurse, "Nice place. No shop, downstairs. I'd have a shop. Not a big one. Just a shop, so people can shop." Theta complained causing me to chuckled, his hand tightly gripped in mine. The nurse removes her veil, "The hospital is a place of healing." She speaks with a slight glare. "A shop does some people the world of good. Not me. Other people." Theta tried to convince causing her to stare at him before another cat comes up. "The Sisters of Plentitude take a lifelong vow to help, and to mend."
We pass an open cubicle, "Excuse me! Members of the public may only gaze upon the Duke of Manhattan with written permission from the Senate of New New York." The women glared at us causing me to scoff. "That's Petrifold Regression, right?" Theta frowned as he placed he glasses on, even with them he looked sexy as hell.
"I'm dying, sir. A lifetime of charity and abstinence, and it ends like this." The man who was being to turn to stone stated sadly.
"Any statements made by the Duke of Manhattan may not be made public without official clearance." The women spoke pushing up her glasses, "Frau Clovis! I'm so weak." The Duke whined, "Sister Jatt. A little privacy, please." She glared at us as the Cat Nurse Jatt pushed us away. "He'll be up and about in no time."
"I doubt it. Petrifold Regression? He's turning to stone. There won't be a cure for oh, a thousand years? He might be up and about, but only as a statue." I spoke with a shake of my head, "Have faith in the Sisterhood. But is there no one here you recognise? It's rather unusual to visit without knowing the patient." I scoffed with a glare at the cat nurse before seeing the Face Of Boe. "No, I think I've found him." A large face in a container by the picture window with a view of the city.
"Novice Hame, if I can leave this gentleman in your care?"
"Oh, I think my friend got lost. Rose Tyler. Could you ask at reception?"
"Certainly, sir."
Sister Jatt leaves as Hame smiles gently at us, "I'm afraid the Face of Boe's asleep. That's all he tends to do these days. Are you a friend, or-" Theta shook his head with a small smile. "I met just the once on Platform One. What's wrong with him?" He frowned cocking his head and eyeballing the old face. "I'm so sorry. I thought you knew. The Face of Boe is dying." Hame seemed guilty as she told us the news, my head titled as I looked him over. "Of what?" I asked turning to her, "Old age. The one thing we can't cure. He's thousands of years old. Some people say millions, although that's impossible."
Theta smiled gently and grabbed my hand as he leaned down to place his other hand against the glass. "Oh, I don't know. I like impossible. I'm here. I look a bit different, but it's me, It's the Doctor. And this is my Binded, Kate." I smiled gently at the Face before leaning down as well and putting my hand on the glass. "Hello, Captain." I spoke lowly so Theta wouldn't hear but I knew he could.
——————
"Hope, harmony and health. Hope, harmony and health."
The Doctor brings Hame a cup of water, "That's very kind. There's no need." Hame smiled at him and took a sip as he shrugged and stood behind me. "You're the one working." He explained causing her to smile again. "There's not much to do, just maintain his smoke. And I suppose I'm company. I can hear him singing, sometimes, in my mind. Such ancient songs." She looked down with a sad frown.
"Are we the only visitors?" I asked.
"The rest of Boe-kind became extinct long ago. He's the only one left. Legend says that the Face of Boe has watched the universe grow old. There's all sorts of superstitions around him. One story says that just before his death, the Face of Boe will impart his great secret, that he will speak those words only to one like himself."
"What does that mean?"
"It's just a story."
"Tell me the rest."
"It's said he'll talk to a wanderer and his love. To the man without a real home but with one in her. The lonely God and His Queen Of Hearts." My eyes widened as I knew exactly who the story was talking about and so did Theta as he looked towards me with a raised eyebrow.
——————
Letting out a sigh, Theta walked over to a phone; using his sonic he scanned to get ahold of Rose. "Er, wotcha." She answered causing me to frown, "Where've you been? How long does it take to get to Ward 26?" He asked, "I'm on my way, governor. I shall proceed up the apples and Pears." I could tell as we listened that this wasn't Rose but Theta wasn't paying much attention.
"You'll never guess. I'm with the Face of Boe. Remember him?"
"Of course I do. That big old Boat race."
"I'd better go. See you in a minute."
The Duke of Manhattan is very happy. "Didn't think I was going to make it. It's that man again! He's my good luck charm. Come in. Don't be shy." The Duke ushered us over with a wide smile as Clovis glared. "Any friendship expressed by the Duke of Manhattan does not constitute a form of legal contract."
The Duke laughed, "Winch me up. Up! Look at me. No sign of infection." He smiled at us as we frowned back at him. "Champagne, sir? Ma'am?" I shook my head, "No, thanks. You had Petrifold Regression, right?" Theta asked as he looked at the man closely, his glasses back on after taking them off early to talk to the Face. "That being the operative word. Past tense. Completely cured." Casp spoke as she stood near me causing me to move over slightly.
"But that's impossible." I scoffed at her causing her to glare at me. "Primitive species would accuse us of magic, but it's merely the tender application of science." She insisted as I turned to her with a frown, "How on Earth did you cure him?" I asked. "How on New Earth, you might say." She made a low joke causing me to roll my eyes as Theta eyed the colorful cocktail off to the side. "What's in that solution?" He asked.
"A simple remedy."
"Then tell me what it is."
"I'm sorry. Patient confidentiality. I don't believe we've met. My name is Matron Casp."
"I'm the Doctor."
"I think you'll find that we're the doctors here." Casp scoffed as she looked Theta up and down with disapproval. "Matron Casp, you're needed in Intensive Care." Jatt spoke as she came closer to us "If you would excuse me." Casp and Jatt walk away causing Theta to turn to me with a frown as we watched them walk away.
—————
"Ambient temperature stands at fourteen degrees. This temperature is designed to promote healing and well-being."
Theta is going round all the cubicles while I watch him, One has a person floating in midair. "There you are. Come and look at this patient. Marconi's Disease. Should take years to recover. Two days. I've never seen anything like it. They've invented a cell washing cascade. It's amazing. Their medical science is way advanced. And this one." An man as white as his bed gown. "Pallidome Pancrosis. Kills you in ten minutes, and he's fine. I need to find a terminal. I've got to see how they do this. Because if they've got the best medicine in the world, then why is it such a secret?" He asked Rose with a frown as she stood next to him.
"I can't Adam and Eve it."
"What's, what's. what's with the voice?"
"Oh, I don't know. Just larking about. New Earth, new me."
"Well, I can talk. New New Doctor."
"Mmm, aren't you just." Rose grabs Theta an pulls him in for a kiss but before a second could pass he pushed her harshly away causing her to gap in shock at him. "Rose Tyler!" His voice boomed but I quickly stepped in front of him before he did something he would regret.
I could tell that his body was sending electric shocks, not ones of pleasure because you are excited but ones of pain because someone who wasn't me kissed him. He grunted and clutched his heart causing me to whimper slightly. "Alright, My love. I've got you." I muttered as I pulled him in for a hug. Which he gladly accepted, before pulling away and grabbing the back of my neck and pulling my head up as our lips connected.
I moaned as his tongue slipped in, moving around. Our lips fought for dominance and before he could win I pulled away causing him to growl lowly as his eyes darker with lust. "Terminal's this way. Phew." I smirked and moved past both of them, one in shock and the other in a trance. "Yep, still got it." I heard him squeak out causing me to smile.
At the computer terminal, by the lift. "Nope, nothing odd. Surgery, post-op, nano-dentistry. No sign of a shop. They should have a shop."
"No, it's missing something else. When I was downstairs, those Nurse Cat Nuns were talking about Intensive Care. Where is it?"
"You're right. Well done."
"Why would they hide a whole department? It's got to be there somewhere. Search the sub-frame." She demanded like she was in charge of this operation. "What if the sub-frame's locked?" I asked causing her to roll her eyes, "Try the installation protocol." He stared at her for a second with a frown before agreeing. "Yeah. Of course. Sorry. Hold on." He uses the sonic screwdriver on the interface, and the whole wall slides down to reveal a corridor. "Intensive Care. Certainly looks intensive." Theta muttered as we moved in, his hand grabbing mine.
Rose leads the way down a good old-fashioned staircase. The whole place is lined with the cells, thousands of them, a bit like the Tomb of the Cybermen. Theta opens one at random; It contains a very sick looking man, "That's disgusting. What's wrong with him?" Rose gapped in shock as she hid behind Theta. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
Theta closes the door and moves on to the next. It contains a young woman,
"What disease is that?" Rose asked with disgust.
"All of them. Every single disease in the galaxy. They've been infected with everything." I spoke with remorse, "What about us? Are we safe?" I shot her a nasty glare as did Theta before he shook his head. "The air's sterile. Just don't touch them." He closes the door. "How many patients are there?" She asked with a frown looking around,
"They're not patients." I told her causing her to shake her head "But they're sick." She stated as a matter of fact.
"They were born sick. They're meant to be sick. They exist to be sick. Lab rats. No wonder the Sisters have got a cure for everything. They've built the ultimate research laboratory. A human farm." Theta explained angrily as we walked around. He was pissed, these people wether they were grown or born, didn't deserve to suffer like this.
"Why don't they just die?" Rose asked with disgust as she rubbed her face causing Theta to shoot her a glare. "Plague carriers. The last to go." I shrugged, "It's for the greater cause." Hame insisted causing me to roll my eyes and scoff, "Novice Hame, When you took your vows, did you agree to this?" I snipped in anger.
"The Sisterhood has sworn to help." She raised an eyebrow with no conscience, "What, by killing?!" Theta yelled in anger, Rose's eyes widening in shock as she finally saw how pissed he was. "But they're not real people. They're specially grown. They have no proper existence." Hame tried to get us to acknowledge their point of view but it was all wrong. "What's the turnover, hmm? Thousand a day? Thousand the next? Thousand the next? How many thousands? For how many years? How many!" I shouted getting in her face, Theta standing beside me shaking in anger his eyes dark as he seethed.
"Mankind needed us. They came to this planet with so many illnesses. We couldn't cope. We did try. We tried everything. We tried using clone-meat and bio-cattle, but the results were too slow, so the Sisterhood grew its own flesh. That's all they are. Flesh." I growled at her in anger at the way she talked about them, "These people are alive." Theta insisted pointing at one of the pods before he pulled me behind him. "But think of those Humans out there, healthy and happy, because of us."
"If they live because of this, then life is worthless."
"But who are you to decide that?"
"I'm the Doctor. And if you don't like it, if you want to take it to a higher authority, then there isn't one. It stops with me." Theta speaks getting in her face, both me and Rose watched probably thinking the same thing too. He was hot when he was mad but now was so not the time.
"Just to confirm. None of the humans in the city actually know about this?" Rose asked causing me to sigh in annoyance as Theta rolled his eyes at her; he too was clearly annoyed. "We thought it best not." Hame was interrupted by me. "Hold on. I can understand the bodies. I can understand your vows. One thing I can't understand. What have you done to Rose?" I asked causing Theta to turn to me with a frown while Rose looked shocked.
"I don't know what you mean."
"And I'm being very, very calm. You want to be aware of that. Very, very calm. And the only reason I'm being so very, very calm is that the brain is a delicate thing. Whatever you've done to Rose's head, I want it reversed." I growled, I needed to prove my point that this wasn't Rose Tyler, "We haven't done anything." Hame insisted as Theta watched us, his eyes trained on Rose who rolled her eyes and rubbed her neck with a click of her tongue.
"I'm perfectly fine."
"These people are dying, and Rose which I don't want to admit this but she would some care. At least the old her."
"Oh, all right, clever clogs. Smarty pants. Lady-killer." She grumbled turning him towards her and pulling him close causing him to lean back in disgust. "What's happened to you?" Theta asked with a frown, finally believing me. "I knew something was going on in this hospital, but I needed this body and your mind to find it out."
"Who are you?" I asked watching her closely. "The last human." She spoke with a confident smirk pulling on his tie. "Cassandra?" Theta frowns in disgust, "Wake up and smell the perfume." She grabs me and squirts the vial up my nose, causing everything to turn black, the last thing I heard was Theta shouting.
"You've hurt them. I don't understand. I'll have to fetch Matron." Hame gasped, "You do that, because I want to see her. Now, run along. Sound the alarm!" Cassandra pulls on a power cable and sets off the alarms.
—————
Theta and I are in the cells next to one another when we wake, "Well, you can't blame this one on her." I spoke causing Theta to pout. Chip has joined his mistress, "Let me out! Let me out!" He shouted in anger, he totally wanted to blame Rose for the kiss. "Aren't you lucky there was a spare? Standing room only." Cassandra snarled causing me to glare.
"You've stolen Rose's body." Theta yelled back. "Over the years, I've thought of a thousand ways to kill you, Doctor. And now, that's exactly what I've got. One thousand diseases. They pump the patients with a top-up every ten minutes. You've got about three minutes left. Enjoy." Cassandra looked at her watch before looking back at him through the glass an smirked.
"Just let Rose go, Cassandra."
"I will. As soon as I've found someone younger, and less common, then I'll junk her with the waste. Or maybe I'll open the door to miss dark hair and use her body. Now hushaby. It's showtime." I scoffed with a eye roll as Theta became even more irritated.
"Anything we can do to help?" Jatt asked as I listened through to cell door.
"Straight to the point, Whiskers. I want money." I scoffed with an eye roll, really all this for money. "The Sisterhood is a charity. We don't give money. We only accept." Jatt insisted, "The humans across the water pay you a fortune, and that's exactly what I need. A one-off payment, that's all I want. Oh, and perhaps a yacht. In return for which, I shall tell the city nothing of your institutional murder. Is that a deal?"
"I'm afraid not."
"I'd really advise you to think about this."
"Oh, there's no need. I have to decline." I figured they would, they were to into their own devices then to give into anything else. "I'll tell them, and you've no way of stopping me. You're not exactly Nuns with Guns. You're not even armed." Cassandra insisted getting angry. "Who needs arms when we have claws?" Matron unsheathes her claws. "Well, nice try. Chip? Plan B." She laughed nervously before turning to her clone.
Chip pulls a lever, and all the doors on that level open. Theta comes out along with a lot of dazed, diseased people. He rushes over to me with a worried look causing me to shot a reassuring look. "What've you done?" I asked with a frown as I stared at the diseased people come towards us, "Gave the system a shot of adrenaline, just to wake them up. See you!" She took off running.
"Don't touch them! Whatever you do, don't touch!" We rush after Cassandra and Chip as the people advance on the cats.
"Please, save us."
He puts his hand into a socket and get electrocuted. The locks on all the cell doors blow, freeing the people inside, "They're free. By the Goddess Santori, the flesh is free!"
"Stop the pain."
A woman touches Sister Jatt and she dies, screaming. On a catwalk across the way, "Oh, my God." Cassandra gasped in shock as Theta shot her a glare. "What the hell have you done?" He snarled causing her to shake her head. "It wasn't me." She insisted, "One touch and you get every disease in the world, and I want that body safe, Cassandra. We've got to go down."
"But there's thousands of them!"
"Run! Down! Down! Go down!" Matron gets to a telephone, "Quarantine the building!"
"This building is under quarantine."
Shutters slam down across doors and windows.
"Repeat, this building is under quarantine. No one may leave the premises. Repeat, no one may leave the premises."
"Keep going! Go down!"
Cassandra runs to call a lift, "No, the lifts have closed down. That's the quarantine. Nothing's moving." I shouted with a frown as I looked around, "This way!" She leads us towards her lair. Chip gets cut off from them as more people approach. "Someone will touch him." Theta shouted as Cassandra didn't even look back "Leave him! He's just a clone thing. He's only got a half life. Come on!"
"Mistress!"
"I'm sorry, I can't let her escape."
"My Mistress!"
Chip jumps down a chute labelled Waste.
Cassandra runs to the back door but there are people there, too. "We're trapped! What am I going to do?" She cried out, honestly it was like dealing with Rose even though it's not Rose.
"Well, for starters, you're going to leave that body. That psychograft is banned on every civilised planet. You're compressing Rose to death." Theta spoke calmly causing me to frown. I wish he would care more, "But I've got nowhere to go. My original skin's dead." She exaggerated quickly turning her head to us with wide eyes and a loud voice.
"Not my problem. You can float as atoms in the air. Now, get out." Theta spoke with irritation in his voice pointing his sonic at her. While he didn't care for her much, she was still his responsibility right now. "You asked for it." Cassandra take a deep breath and blows energy out to the Doctor, "Blimey, my head. Where'd she go?" Rose winced as I watched Cassandra stand up in Theta's body. "Oh, my. This is different." She spoke as she held up her hands.
"Cassandra?"
"Goodness me, I'm a man. Yum. So many parts. And let me tell you they are used for them being so new. Oh, oh, two hearts! Oh, baby, I'm beating out a samba!" She started to dance around causing me to roll my eyes and blush slightly at her comment about his parts being used. "Get out of him." I insisted trying not to pay attention to Rose who shot me a heated glare. "Oo, he's slim, and a little bit foxy." She raised her eye brows. "You've thought so too. I've been inside your head. You've been looking. You like it, Rose." She smiled shyly as Casandra came closer.
"To bad he doesn't like you." Cassandra muttered pulling away and looking towards me with a smirk as Rose shot me another heated glare causing me to roll my eyes.
The diseased people burst in, "What do we do? What would he do? The Doctor, what the hell would he do?" She shouted, slapping at Rose while I made the ladder behind her. "Ladder. We've got to get up." Cassandra pushed Rose out of the way allowing her to go first as I rushed behind her quickly with Rose behind, "Out of the way, blondie!"
"Please, help us. Help."
Climbing up, Rose shouted up at us "If you get out of the Doctor's body, he can think of something." I was here too, although it would have been better if I was at the top instead of the middle. "Yap, yap, yap. God, it was tedious inside your head. Hormone city." Cassandra moaned back, "We're going to die if-" Matron Casp grabs her ankle, "Get off!"
"All our good work. All that healing. The good name of the Sisterhood. You have destroyed everything." Cassandra scoffed, "Go and play with a ball of string." Cassandra spoke with an eye roll.
I snorted, I'll give her this one. "Everywhere, disease. This is the human world. Sickness!" A diseased arm reaches up and grasps Casp's ankle. She falls, screaming. "Move!"
"Maximum quarantine. Divert all shuttles."
The doors on the next level will not open. "Help us." A man moans out, "Now what do we do?" Cassandra asked looking down at us. "Use the sonic screwdriver." I told her as she pulled it out, "You mean this thing?" She held it away from her causing me to roll my eyes. "Yes, I mean that thing." I insisted causing her to frown. "Well, I don't know how. That Doctor's hidden away all his thoughts."
"Cassandra, go back into me. The Doctor can open it. Do it!" Rose insisted, "Hold on tight." The energy transfers. "Oh, chavtastic again. Open it!" Theta opens the lift doors without a second thought and helps me up then Cassandra. "Inside her head. They're so alone. They keep reaching out, just to hold us. All their lives and they've never been touched." We watch her for a minute before moving on.

We rushed back to Ward 26, Frau Clovis lunges at us with a metal stand. "We're safe! We're safe! We're safe! We're clean! We're clean! Look, look." Theta shouts causing her to glare as we show them our skin. "Show me your skin." She stared us down, Cassandra shaking her hands out copying us. "Look, clean. Look, if we'd been touched, we'd be dead. So how's it going up here? What's the status?"
"There's nothing but silence from the other wards. I think we're the only ones left. And I've been trying to override the quarantine. If I can trip a signal over to New New York, they can send a private executive squad."
"You can't do that. If they forced entry, they'd break quarantine."
"I am not dying in here."
"We can't let a single particle of disease get out. There is ten million people in that city. They'd all be at risk. Now, turn that off!"
"Not if it gets me out."
"All right, fine. So I have to stop you lot as well. Suits me. Rose, novice Hame, everyone! Excuse me, your Grace. Get me intravenous solutions for every single disease. Move it!" Everyone grabs drip bags while the Doctor collects a long piece of heavy silk rope and starts hanging them on his body, "How's that? Will that do?" He asked me causing me to nod back at him.
Theta opens the lift doors, "The lifts aren't working." Cassandra frowned. "Not moving. Different thing. Here we go." He puts the sonic screwdriver between his teeth and runs. "But you're not going to-" He jumps and grabs the lift cable. "What do you think you're doing?"
"I'm going down! Come on!" He attaches a round piece of equipment to the cable. "Not in a million years." Cassandra scoffed, "I need another pair of hands. What do you think? If you're so desperate to stay alive, why don't you live a little?" I rushed back towards the room after shooting Theta a nod.
"Seal the door!"
Cassandra is trapped with approaching disease. Now all I could do was wait for him.

"The Doctor is in." I smiled at his voice in my head as I paced back and forth waiting for them to get the job down. I could feel his emotions as he saved them, he was proud. Happy that they could live, after finding out that they were grown to die with diseases we were both upset about it but now he could save them.
"It's all clear. You can come down now, My Queen. I want a hug for a job well done."
————————
"Pass it on!" The disinfected and wet humans touch their diseased comrades. There are hisses and steam coming off their skin, which is now clear of symptoms. The wet Doctor helps Cassandra down, "What did they pass on? Did you kill them? All of them?"
"No. That's your way of doing things. I'm the Doctor, and I cured them."
A woman hugs the Doctor, "That's right. Hey, there we go, sweetheart. Go to him. Go on, that's it. That's it. It's a new sub-species, Cassandra. A brand new form of life. New humans! Look at them. Look! Grown by cats, kept in the dark, fed by tubes, but completely, completely alive. You can't deny them, because you helped create them. The human race just keeps on going, keeps on changing. Life will out! Ha!" I smiled brightly as I rushed in and pulled him into a happy celebratory hug.

A little later, the quarantine has been formally lifted.
"This is the NNYPD. Please step away from the shuttles."
"All staff will present themselves to the officers for immediate arrest. I repeat, immediate arrest. All new life forms will be catalogued and taken into care. All visitors to the hospital will be required to make a statement to the NNYPD."
"The Face of Boe!" We run to the last person left on the ward, "You were supposed to be dying."
"There are better things to do today. Dying can wait."
"Oh, I hate telepathy. Just what I need, a head full of big face."
"Shh!"
"I have grown tired with the universe, Doctor, but you have taught me to look at it anew." His voice drifted, "There are legends, you know, saying that you're millions of years old." I spoke with a smile as Theta leaned closer to him, "There are? That would be impossible."
"Wouldn't it just. I got the impression there was something you wanted to tell me." Theta asked with a frown. "A great secret." Boe spoke looking towards me, "So the legend says."
"It can wait." The Face Of Boe teased. "Oh, does it have to?" Theta pouted, "We shall meet again, Doctor, for the third time, for the last time, and the truth shall be told. Until that day. Goodbye My Queen." Boe beams away. "That is enigmatic. That, that is, that is textbook enigmatic. And now for you."
"But everything's happy. Everything's fine. Can't you just leave me?" Cassandra tried to flirt, pushing herself closer to him. "You've lived long enough. Leave that body and end it, Cassandra." I glared at her. "I don't want to die." She started to fake cry. "No one does." I responded, "Help me." She whimpered.
"I can't."
"Mistress!"
"Oh, you're alive."
"I kept myself safe for you, mistress."
"A body. And not just that, a volunteer."
"Don't you dare. He's got a life of his own." Theta frowned at her, "But I worship the mistress. I welcome her." Chip held his hands out. "You can't, Cassandra, you-" The energy transfer takes place and Rose collapses into the Doctor's arms. He didn't hesitate to drop her causing her to yelp and glare at him. I couldn't help but laugh, Oh, sweet Lord. I'm a walking doodle."
Cassandra looked at herself in disgust. "You can't stay in there. I'm sorry, Cassandra, but that's not fair. I can take you to the city. They can build you a skin tank and you can stand trial for what you've done."
"Well, that would be rather dramatic. Possibly my finest hour, and certainly my finest hat, but I'm afraid we don't have time. Poor little Chip is only a half-life, and he's been through so much. His heart is racing so. He's failing. I don't think he's going to last." Cassandra falls to her knees as the three of us catch her. "Are you all right?" I asked causing her to nod gently. "I'm fine. I'm dying, but that's fine."
Suddenly she was so excepting of death when before she was so against it. "I can take you to the city." Theta spoke causing her to frown and grab him, "No, you won't. Everything's new on this planet. There's no place for Chip and me any more. You're right, Doctor. It's time to die, and that's good." She smiled at him. "Come on. There's one last thing I can do."

The Tardis materialises out of sight of the party, "Oh no, don't. Stop it. Simply not true. Tiny. The beaches were so dismal, and the mosquitoes were-" we watched as Human Cassandra talked up the party. "Thank you." She turned to us with a smile causing Theta to give a stiff smile back.
"Just go. And don't look back."
"Good luck."
"Excuse me, Lady Cassandra." She spoke as she got her old selfs past attention, "I'm sorry, I don't need anything right now. I'm fine, thank you." Her past self frown at her, "No, I just wanted to say you look beautiful."
"Well, that's very kind, you strange little thing. Thank you very much."
"I mean it. You look so beautiful."
"Thank you." Chip's body collapses. Lady Cassandra cradles him, "Oh, my Lord. Are you all right? What is it? What's wrong? Someone get some help! Call a medic or something, quickly!"
"Who is he?"
"I don't know. He just came up to me. I don't even know his name. He just collapsed. I think he's dying. Someone do something! I've got you, sweetheart. It's all right. There you are. There you are, I've got you. It'll be all right. There, there, you poor little thing." Theta looked back on last time with a straight but sad look, as turned to grab his hand causing him to smile gently at me. He gripped my hand and pulled me into the tardis both of us with heavy hearts.

When we stepped back into the TARDIS, Rose turned to Theta with a blush, "About that kiss, I really enjo-" Theta shot her a glare interrupting her, "Let's not go there at all Rose Tyler." With that he grabbed my hand and pulled me away from her with her glaring at me from behind causing me to sigh once again.
With one step forward we take two steps back once again.
