{"Hello, Juniper. It's nice to meet you."}
The Doctor is under the car, struggling with the ATMOS. "He's going to choke. Doctor!" Donna yells at him, "It won't open." I rush come back out of the house with an axe, Sylvia close behind me. I close the bonnet and break the windscreen, they all stare at me in shock. "Well, don't just stand there. Get him out." Theta gulped slightly as he eyes me, I blushed dropping the axe and moving away.
Wilf is being taken to safety as Theta comes to stand next to me. "Thanks." Wilf utters to me with a small smile as he take my hand gently, "I can't believe you've got an axe." Donna scoffed at her mother in shock, "Burglars." Sylvia shrugged, "Get inside the house. Just try and close off the doors and windows." Jenkins is driving a black cab. "Doctor. This is all I could find that hasn't got ATMOS." My eye twitched slightly, did he just not notice what was happening. "Donna, you coming?" Theta asked Donna who stared at us for a second. "Yeah." She breathed out with a nod, "Donna. Don't go. Look what happens every time that Doctor appears. Stay with us, please." Sylvia begged, she eyes me for a second lowering towards my stomach but I stood next to Theta with a determined look. "You go, my darling." Wild breathed out, "Dad!" Sylvia shouts in shock and irritation. "Don't listen to her. You go with the Doctor. That's my girl." Donna gets into the cab with us, "Bye."
"The Government has declared a state of emergency. People are being told to stay away from all cars with ATMOS devices attached."
"The gas appears to be toxic. We are warning anyone and everyone, stay away from the cars. Repeat, stay away from your cars."
We make our way to the base, listening to the broadcasts on every channel. The world was now in a state of panic, "Ross, look after yourself. Get inside the building." Theta demands as we arrived and exited the vehicle. "Will do. Greyhound Forty to Trap One. I have just returned the Doctor to base safe and sound. Over." He rushed away towards the building as Donna looks around with a frown. "The air is disgusting." She grumbled as we stopped halfway between the building and the TARDIS. "It's not so bad for me. Go on, get inside the Tardis. Oh, I've never given you a key. Keep that. Go on, that's yours. Quite a big moment really." He hands her a key causing her to give him a small smile. "Yeah, maybe we can get sentimental after the world's finished choking to death." She insisted causing him to nod back, "Good idea." I spoke up towards her, "Where are you going?" She asked us, "To stop a war." He went to leave only for her to grab his hand, stopping him. "Look, I don't know how y'all's system works but seeming as your okay with the way the air is, protect her. Or I'll kill you." She threatened causing our eyes to widen. My arms immediately pulling her into a hug as Theta cleared his throat, "I will. Always."We finally take off towards the ATMOS factory while Donna lets herself into the Tardis.
Theta and I rush into the control room, Theta opening the two doors together super dramatically. "Right then, here I am. Good. Whatever you do, Colonel Mace, do not engage the Sontarans in battle. There is nothing they like better than a war. Just leave this to me." He winks and clicks his tongue at me causing me to shake my head with a small laugh. "And what are you going to do?" Mace asked with a frown, "I've got the Tardis. I'm going to get on board their ship." Martha taps her phone, and Grey and Harris snap to attention. Theta and I make our way over to Martha, "Come on."
We stood in front of the blank spot where the TARDIS used to be. I let out a sigh, great. "But where's the Tardis?" Martha asked, I looked towards her with a frown. She seemed different, "Taste that, in the air. Yuck. That sort of metal tang. Teleport exchange. It's the Sontarans. They've taken it. I'm stuck on Earth like, like an ordinary person. Like a human. How rubbish is that? Sorry, no offence, but come on." She didn't react like she usually would, "So what do we do?" She asked looking towards us. "Well, I mean, it's shielded. They could never detect it." I spoke with a pointed look towards her causing her eyes to widen. She paused for a second but it was enough, "What?" She snipped back, "I'm just wondering, have you phoned your family and Tom?" I asked her with a cock of my head, Theta watched her as well.
"No. What for?" She asked, "The gas. Tell them to stay inside." Theta mused lightly finally speaking up. "Course I will, yeah but, what about Donna? I mean, where's she?" Martha asked, "Oh, she's gone home. She's not like you. She's not a soldier. Right. So. Avanti." We head back towards HQ, Martha glaring quietly behind us. We both figured it wasn't Martha quite quickly. "Change of plan." Theta spoke up, grabbing my hand tightly. "Good to have you fighting alongside us, Doctor." Mace nodded towards me as well as I winced slight from a sudden kick. "I'm not fighting. I'm not-fighting, as in not hyphen fighting, got it? Now, does anyone know what this gas is yet?" I asked looking around at everyone in the room.
"We're working on it."
"It's harmful, but not lethal until it reaches eighty percent density. We're having the first reports of deaths from the centre of Tokyo City."
"And who are you?"
"Captain Marion Price, sir."
"Oh, put your hand down. Don't salute."
"Jodrell Bank's traced a signal, Doctor, coming from five thousand miles above the Earth. We're guessing that's what triggered the cars." Mace explained looking towards us causing us to nod back. "The Sontaran ship." I announced, Theta nodding along with me. "NATO has gone to Defcon One. We're preparing a strike." Mace told us with a hardened look, "You can't do that. Nuclear missiles won't even scratch the surface. Let me talk to the Sontarans." Theta moved towards Mace with a glare towards the soldier. "You're not authorised to speak on behalf of the Earth." Mace grunted back with a glare of his own, "I've got that authority. I earned that a long time ago." Theta sticks his sonic screwdriver into the communications system. "Calling the Sontaran Command Ship... Under Jurisdiction Two of the Intergalactic Rules of Engagement."
The scanner briefly shows a picture of Rose Tyler, then...
"This is the Doctor and his Queen Kate." Theta announced somewhat smugly, I let out a small chuckle. "Doctor, breathing your last?" The sontaran smirked, "My God, they're like trolls." Mace breathed out causing me to snort back with a small shake of my head. "Yeah, loving the diplomacy, thanks. So, tell me, General Staal, since when did you lot become cowards?" Theta spoke with a raised eyebrow. "How dare you!" Staal shouted in anger. "Oh, that's diplomacy?" Mace mocked him, causing me to nudge Theta with a smirk. The man had a point, "Doctor, you impugn my honour." Staal stated, "Yeah, I'm really glad you didn't say belittle, because then I'd have a field day. But poison gas? That's the weapon of a coward and you know it." I snapped in annoyance glaring at the monster on the screen. "Staal, you could blast this planet out of the sky and yet you're sitting up above watching it die. Where's the fight in that? Where's the honour? Or Are you lot planning something else, because this isn't normal Sontaran warfare. What are you lot up to?"
"A general would be unwise to reveal his strategy to the opposing forces."
"Ah, the war's not going so well, then. Losing, are we?"
"Such a suggestion is impossible."
"What war?"
"The war between the Sontarans and the Rutans. It's been raging, far out in the stars, for fifty thousand years. Fifty thousand years of bloodshed, and for what?"
"For victory. Sontar-ha. Sontar-ha. Sontar-ha. Sontar-ha. Sontar-ha. Sontar-ha."
"Give me a break." Theta changes channels with the screwdriver, to a cartoon. "Doctor. I would seriously recommend that this dialogue is handled by official Earth representation." And back to the Sontarans, "Finished?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow at them. "You will not be so quick to ridicule when you'll see our prize. Behold. We are the first Sontarans in history to capture a Tardis." Theta and I rolled our eyes, "Well, as prizes go, that's noble." I mocked with a smirk, "As they say in Latin, Donna nobis pacem." I finished off knowing she would understand the message.
"Did you never wonder about its design? It's a phone box. It contains a phone. A telephonic device for communication. Sort of symbolic. Like, if only we could communicate, you and I." Theta winked at me with a small smirk, "All you have communicated is your distress, Doctor." Staal stated, "Big mistake though, showing it to me. Because I've got remote control."
"Cease transmission!"
"Ah, well."
"That achieved nothing."
"Oh, you'd be surprised."
"The United Nations has issued a directive worldwide, telling urban populations to stay indoors. Those in rural areas are being ordered to stay away from all major cities. There are reports from every country in Europe of thousands of people walking across country to escape. And on the Eastern seaboard of America it's said to be reminiscent of Dunkirk, with boats taking refugees out into the Atlantic."
"With the freeways blocked by ATMOS cars, populations of major cities are now walking across open country to escape the fumes. It is being likened to a Biblical plague. Some are calling this the End of Days."
I stare at the news screens with a frown before turning my eyes towards Theta who was reading Martha 2's clipboard. We decided to cal her that seeming as she was a clone not the real one. "There's carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, but ten percent unidentified. Some sort of artificial heavy element we can't trace. You ever seen anything like it?" Martha 2 asked looking between us with a frown. "It must be something the Sontarans invented. This isn't just poison. They need this gas for something else. What could that be?" Theta asked with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Launch grid online and active."
"Positions, ladies and gentlemen, Defcon One initiatives in progress."
"What? I told you not to launch."
"The gas is at sixty percent density. Eighty percent and people start dying, Doctor. We've got no choice." Mace stared Theta down, "Launching in sixty, fifty nine, fifty eight, fifty seven, fifty six. Worldwide nuclear grid now coordinating. Fifty four, fifty three." I move over towards the two men with a glare of my own. "You're making a mistake, Colonel. For once, I hope the Sontarans are ahead of you." I snarled angrily at him, I have been in more battle procedures than I can count and this one is a bad one. The human race, always making the worst decisions because they think they can. "North America, online. United Kingdom, online. France, online. India, online. Pakistan, online. China, online. North Korea, online. All systems locked and coordinated. Launching in ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five" I backed up into Theta's arms. "God save us." Mace breathed out causing me to roll my eyes and scoff. "Four, three, two, one." Martha 2 activates her phone hack. Launch yes/no? She presses No.
"Zero." Nothing happens. The world map goes blank, "What is it? What happened? Did we launch? Well, did we?" I snorted as everyone started to panic. "Negative, sir. The launch codes have been wiped, sir. It must be the Sontarans." Price said with a frown as he turned towards us. "Can we override it?" Mace asked, "Trying it now, sir." I rolled my eyes as Theta sighed with exasperation. "Missiles wouldn't even dent that ship, so why are the Sontarans so keen to stop you? Any ideas?" He shot a pointed look towards Martha 2, "How should I know?" She snapped back with a frown still thinking she had his fooled.
The radio soon cut in, "Sontarans within factory grounds. East corridor, grid six." Mace's eyes widened in shock, "Absolute emergency. Declaring Code Red. All troops, Code Red." Theta moved forward, "Get them out of there." He snapped at Mace, "All troops, open fire." My eyes closed as I felt it, soon I was standing next to Jenkins. Shooting Skaar a wink, I grabbed Ross and teleported him back into the control room. "Greyhound Forty, report. Over. Greyhound Forty, report. Greyhound Forty, report." I glared at the man's back, "He isn't Greyhound Forty. His name was Ross." I spoke up from behind them causing everyone to turn in shock. Ross nodded towards Theta who gave a smile back. "Now listen to me, and get them out of there!" I snarled at the man as I stepped up to his face.
"Trap One to all stations. Retreat. Order imperative. Immediate retreat. Retreat. Retreat." It is a massacre, we were too late. I pushed Ross towards the exit, "Go. Find your family. Be safe." He gave me a gentle smile before he took off. "They've taken the factory." Mace turned towards us, "Why? They don't need it. Why attack now? What are they up to? Times like this, I could do with the Brigadier. No offence." Theta ranted, "None taken. Sir Alistair's a fine man, if not the best. Unfortunately, he's stranded in Peru." I scoffed with a eye roll. "Launch grid back online." Martha taps No again and the grid goes blank. "They're inside the system, sir. It's coming from within UNIT itself."
"Trace it. Find out where it's coming from, and quickly. Gas levels?"
"Sixty six percent in major population areas, and rising."
Mace leads us into his tiny office, "Why are they defending the factory only after we were inside?" Mace asked as he spun around to face us with a glare. "Because they wanted UNIT here. You gave them something they needed. Something now hidden inside the factory. Something precious." I announced with frown, "We've got to recover it. This cordolaine signal thing, how does it work?" Mace asked us, "It's the bullets. It causes expansion of the copper shell." Theta explained causing Mace to smile. "Excellent. I'm on it." I sighed as I rubbed my stomach, the little one moving with purpose. "For the billionth time, you can't fight Sontarans." I uttered out taking as seat with a wince as Theta goes to the nearest UNIT officer. "Phone. Have you got a phone? I need your mobile. Quickly, hurry up." He returns to the tiny office and watches Martha 2.
Dialing Donna's number, he puts the phone one speaker before setting it on the desk. "What's happened? Where are you?" Donna asked frantically through the phone. "Still on Earth. But don't worry, I've got my secret weapon." Theta smirked at me as he slid down the wall, "What's that?" She asked, "You." We answered together both so if with smiles. "Oh. Somehow that's not making me happy. Can't you just zap us down to Earth with that remote thing?" Theta winced slightly causing me to roll my eyes, "Yeah, I haven't got a remote, though I really should. I need you on that ship. That's why I made them move The Tardis. I'm sorry but you've got to go outside." He breathed out gently causing a long pause to go through the room.
"But there's Sonteruns out there." I chuckled at her mispronounced wording. "Sontarans. But they'll all be on battle stations right now. They don't exactly walk about having coffee. We can talk you through it." I told her gently as I winced, blowing out another breath and rubbing my stomach. "But what if they find me?" Donna asked, Theta paused watching me with a frown causing me to give him a small smile in return. "I know, and I wouldn't ask, but there's nothing else I can do. The whole planet is choking, Donna." He told her gently, I could tell that's what got her to get a move on. "What do you need me to do?" She asked, sounding determined to do something. "The Sontarans are inside the factory which means they've got a teleport link with the ship, but they'll have deadlocked it. I need you to reopen the link." He explained to her.
"But I can't even mend a fuse." She sputtered out causing me to sigh and glare at the phone. "Donna, stop talking about yourself like that. You can do this. I promise." I told her, I believed in her an she knew this. "There's a Sonterun. Sontaran." She corrected herself causing me to smile, "Did he see you?" Theta asked her, "No, he's got his back to me." She stated causing me to sit up with wide eyes and a smile, "Right, Donna, listen. On the back of his neck on his collar there's a sort of plug, like a hole. The Probic vent. One blow to the Probic vent knocks 'them out." I explained to her, Theta looked at me before rolling his eyes. "But he's going to kill me." She whispered back, "Donna I'm gonna tell you something, when I was younger I was sent on a training mission. D had already left and I was being trained to be a commander, remember I told you." I could practically here her nod, "Well think of this as a game of wack a mole, at least I think that's what you human call it. You've got this Donna. I believe in you." Theta was watching me with a smile.
Donna gets the mallet that the Doctor uses on the Tardis console, sneaks outside and gives the Sontaran a hefty whack on the vent. He goes down like a sack of potatoes, "Back of the neck." Donna breathed out happily causing us both to laugh ourselves. "Now then, you got to find the external junction feed to the teleport." Theta explains to her, "What, what's it look like?" She asked, "A circular panel on the wall. Big symbol on the front, like a, like a
Letter T with a horizontal line through it. Or, or, two Fs back to back." He explained gently trying to remember, I could have just told her but he wanted to explain it.
"Oh. Well, there's a door."
"Should be a switch by the side."
"Yeah there is. But it's Sontaran shaped, you need three fingers."
"You've got three fingers."
"Oh, yeah."
"I'm through." Donna whispered causing Theta to grab the phone and bring it to his lips. "Oh, you are brilliant, you are." He spoke like a owner talking to their dog. "Shut up. Right. T with a line through it." She muttered as we noticed Mace coming back inside. "Got to go. Keep the line open." He hung up, "Counter attack." Mace smirked up at us smugly. "I said, you don't stand a chance." I stated with a glare as I crossed my arms. "Positions. That means everyone." Mace tosses a gas mask to Theta and I. "You're not going without me." We eyed her once more, "Wouldn't dream of it." He leads us outside with everyone else. Theta making sure to put my mask on before his own. "Latest firing stock. What do you think, Doctor?" Mace asked turning towards us, "Are you my mummy?" I snorted, as Mace's shoulders sagged in exasperation. "If you could concentrate. Bullets with a rad-steel coating. No copper surface. Should overcome the cordolaine signal." I pinched Theta as he grunted, "But the Sontarans have got lasers. You can't even see in this fog. The night vision doesn't work." He snipped back at the man. "Thank you, Doctor. Thank you for your lack of faith. But this time, I'm not listening." Mace removes his gas mask, "Attention, all troops. The Sontarans might think of us as primitive, as does every passing species with an axe to grind. They make a mockery of our weapons, our soldiers, our ideals. But no more. From this point on, it stops. From this point on, the people of Earth fight back, and we show them. We show the warriors of Sontar what the human race can do. Trap One to Hawk Major. Go, go, go."
There is a sudden massive downdraft, blowing the gas away. "It's working. The area's clearing. Engines to maximum." Mace explained, "It's the Valiant." I breathed out with a surprised look, "UNIT Carrier Ship Valiant reporting for duty, Doctor. With engines strong enough to clear away the fog." The gas masks can now be removed, "Whoa, that's brilliant." Theta smiled brightly at me before looking at the ship again. "Getting a taste for it, Doctor?" Mace asked, "No, not at all. Not me." Theta grumbled, "Valiant, fire at will." Six green beams from the Valiant converge to form one that hits the ATMOS factory. Meanwhile, UNIT soldiers use rocket launchers to blast away the loading bay doors. It is the Sontaran's turn to be massacred.
"East and north secure. Doctor?"
"Donna, hold on. I'm coming."
"Shouldn't we follow the Colonel?" Theta scans the area with his sonic screwdriver. "Nah, you and me, Martha Jones. Just like old times. With Kate of course." I rolled my eyes at him, as Martha 2 stops the nuclear strike again. "Alien technology, this-a way."The corridor lights come on, "No Sontarans down here. They can't resist a battle. Here we go. Oh, Martha, I'm so sorry. Still alive." Martha 2 points a gun at Theta's head. She shot me a warning look but I wasn't about to do anything stupid. "Am I supposed to be impressed?" I snipped at her, speaking for both Theta and I. "Wish you carried a gun now?" She cocked an eyebrow at him, "Not at all." He shrugged, "I've been stopping the nuclear launch all this time." She explained but we already knew that. "Doing exactly what I wanted. I needed to stop the missiles, just as much as the Sontarans. I'm not having Earth start an interstellar war. You're a triple agent." She frowned looking between us, "When did you know?" She asked, "About you? Oh, right from the start. Reduced iris contraction, slight thinning of the hair follicles on the left temple. And, frankly, you smell. You might as well have worn a T shirt saying clone. Although, maybe not in front of Captain Jack. You remember him, don't you? Because you've got all her memories. That's why the Sontarans had to protect her, to keep you inside UNIT. Martha Jones is keeping you alive." Theta takes the device off Martha's head, and the clone collapses.
I kick the gun away, "It's all right, it's all right, I'm here, I'm here. I've got you, I've got you." Martha was panicked and upset, "There was this thing, Doctor, this alien, with this head." She breathed out in shock as the mobile phone rings. "Oh! Blimey, I'm busy. Got it?" Theta asked, speaking into the phone as I move towards Martha to hold her steady. This time only listening to his side of the conversation as he paced around. "Take off the covering. All the blue switches inside flick them up like a fuse box, and that should get the teleport working." Martha's eyes turned towards the clone withering on the floor. "Oh, my God. That's me." She breathed out causing me to nod, finally after he gets off the phone and puts his coat around Martha. He rushed over to start working on the teleport.
"Don't touch me." Martha 2 snapped at Martha as she moved over to herself, "It's not my fault. The Sontarans created you, but you had all my memories." Martha murmured watching herself with a frown. "You've got a brother, sister, mother and father." The clone spoke up, "If you don't help me, they're going to die." The real Martha raised an eyebrow as she watched her clone look away. "You love them." She breathed out lowly, "Yes. Remember that?" Martha smiled at her clone with a nod, "The gas. Tell us about the gas." Martha 2 glared at Theta, "He's the enemy." She snipped looking towards me as well.
"Then tell me. It's not just poison, what's it for? Martha, please."
"Caesofine concentrate. It's one part of Bosteen, two parts Probic five."
"Clonefeed. It's clonefeed!"
"What's clonefeed?"
"Like amniotic fluid for Sontarans. That's why they're not invading. They're converting the atmosphere, changing the planet into a clone world. Earth becomes a great big hatchery. Because the Sontarans are clones, that's how they reproduce. Give them a planet this big, they'll create billions of new soldiers. The gas isn't poison, it's food." Theta explained to her, "My heart. It's getting slower." Martha 2 breathed out slowly, "There's nothing I can do." Martha responded back with a saddened look on her face. "In your mind, you've got so many plans. There's so much that you want to do." Martha 2 smiled as if she was remembering all the dreams. "And I will. Never do tomorrow what you can do today, my mum says, because.." Martha 2 nodded and finished her sentence. "Because you never know how long you've got. Martha Jones. All that life." The clone dies, Martha takes back her engagement ring.
"Doctor. Blue switches done, but they've found me."
"Now!" I shout as Theta zaps the teleport with his sonic screwdriver, and Donna disappears from the spaceship just in time. "Have I ever told you how much I hate you?" She let out a laugh before bringing him into a tight hug. "Hold on, hold on. Get off me, get off me. Got to bring the Tardis down." The Tardis returns to the alleyway, "Right, now. Martha, you coming?"
"What about this nuclear launch thing?" Martha asked with a frown, "Just keep pressing N. We want to keep those missiles on the ground." He gestured to her phone causing her to nod, "There's two of them." Donna breathed out noticing the dead clone. "Yeah, long story. Here we go. The old team, back together. Well, the new team." Donna and Martha join us in the teleport. "We're not going back on that ship!" Donna gapped in horror, "No, no, no. No. I needed to get the teleport working so that we could get to..." We teleport, "..Here. The Rattigan Academy, owned by..."Rattigan points his gun at us causing Theta and I to roll our eyes. "Don't tell anyone what I did. It wasn't my fault, the Sontarans lied to me, they..." Theta walks right up to him, takes the gun and throws it off to the side causing me to smirk.
"If I see one more gun.."
"You know, that coat sort of works."
"I feel like a kid in my dad's clothes."
"Oh well, if you're calling him dad, you're definitely getting over him." Donna winked at me as we all three laughed and followed after Theta. Who is already building a gizmo, "That's why the Sontarans had to stop the missiles. They were holding back. Because caesofine gas is volatile, that's why they had to use you to stop the nuclear attack. Ground to air engagement could spark off the whole thing." He explained to everyone, "What, like set fire to the atmosphere?" Martha asked with a frown, "Yeah. They need all the gas intact to breed their clone army. And all the time we had Luke here in his dream factory. Planning a little trip, were we?" I snipped glaring at the boy who glared back at me. "They promised me a new world." I rolled my eyes with a scoff. "You were building equipment, ready to terraform El Mondo Luko so that humans could live there and breathe the air with this. An atmospheric converter."
We follow him outside and wait for him to set it up.
"That's London. You can't even see it. My family's in there." Donna shouted at him looking back at us in horror. "If I can get this on the right setting." He fixed the machine with a grunt. "Doctor, hold on. You said the atmosphere would ignite." Martha stared down at him in shock, "Yeah, I did, didn't I?" Theta activates the atmospheric converter, and an energy pulse zooms up into the grungy clouds. KaBOOM! He crosses his fingers on one hand as he grabbed my hand with his other, the fireball spreads in the upper atmosphere. "Please, please, please, please, please, please, please."
The flames race around the world, consuming the gas without damaging any buildings, and leaving a clear blue sky behind. The people come out of their houses to celebrate. Captain Price kisses Colonel Mace.
"He's a genius."
"Just brilliant."
"Now we're in trouble."
Theta carries the atmospheric converter into the teleport. "Right. So, Donna, thank you for everything. Martha, you too. Oh, so many times. Luke, do something clever with your life." I glared at him, "D, You're saying goodbye." I hissed in annoyance as he moved in front of me, he grabbed me by the waist and leaned down to kiss me. "Sontarans are never defeated. They'll be getting ready for war. And, well, you know, I've recalibrated this for Sontaran air, so..." He spoke gently rubbing his hands up and down my arms before placing a kiss on my stomach. "You're going to ignite them, you'll get yourself killed." I hissed at him, he looked up at me with a sad smile. "Just send that thing up on it's own. I don't know. Put it on a delay." Martha insisted, "I can't." Theta spoke to her, backing away from me. "Why not?" Donna asked, "I've got to give them a choice." Theta teleports, as I let out a shout. Donna had to hold me back as I watch the machine in worry. Rattigan suddenly rushed forward into the machine and starts messing with the cords.
"What are you doing?"
"Something clever."
Rattigan teleports away.
The Sontarans are still chanting, "Ten, nine, eight, seven..." The Doctor vanishes and Rattigan appears, catching the converter control. "Six, five, four, three..." they don't notice, "Sontar-ha!" Rattigan shouts, "Two, one." The Sontaran spaceship goes KaBOOM! taking out the just launched clone pods.
Theta drops into the Academy teleport, breathless. I move towards him, as the machine shuts down my eyes harden with a glare. Two seconds, that's all it took for me to look him over before I smacked him. Martha and Donna winced from behind me as I pull him into a hug. "Don't you ever do that to me again, or I swear." I drop myself onto his lap as he laughs gently holding me close. "I'm sorry, my love." Donna and Martha soon coming over for a group hug.
Two hours later we were back at Donna's, this time the TARDIS here as well. We were letting her say goodbye to her family, this time for real as Martha stayed in the TARDIS. I grunted, making my way to the console seat, now? I breathed out in a huff, easy. Easy baby.
"Theta!" I screamed just as they stepped into to the Tardis, both Donna and Martha jumping. Theta spun around as I held onto the wall trying to make my way to the Medbay, "It's time." I told him breathing heavy as another contraction hit. He immediately rushed over and picked me up, Donna and Martha following us closely as he ran to the Medbay.
It took him two minutes to hook me up as they crowded around me. I let out another scream as it hit again, "Okay. I got this. I'm a Doctor for a reason." Martha laughed as she got things ready for us, Donna helping out by getting stuff for the baby. I let out another scream in pain as Martha spread my legs, "Alright. You need to push now." She demanded an that's what I did, I threw my head back in pain taking a deep breath before pushing again.
Theta grabbed my hand as I continued to birth our child. "I hate you so much. You dirty bastard." I growled out at him as the lights began to flicker, he looked down at me with absolute love in his eyes as he ran a hand along my head. "Well I love you and I'm so proud of you." With a few more pushes, it was finally all over. I was whimpering in pain as I finally heard my baby girl's cries. Laughing gently in relief, I looked over to see Donna and Martha cleaning her up, "You did a wonderful job. She's beautiful." Donna laughed with tears as she brought my baby girl over.
Theta settled down next to me with a bright smile, "Hi there baby." He cooed at her as slowly began to open her eyes. Her tiny fingers moving out to reach for him as she cooed back. I laughed and started to cry again as my family crowded around, "Hello Juniper. It's nice to finally meet you."
Two weeks later, I was finally allowed to move around under the approval of Martha who had stayed to help out. Theta had our daughter as we walked into the console room, I smiled at the Tardis's greeting as her lights shined brighter and she hummed happily. "How were they?" Martha asked Donna who stepped into the Tardis after saying one last goodbye to her family since we were going to leave again. It had been a long two weeks and all three of them waited on me hand and foot, I didn't ask but I was extremely grateful to them. I don't know what I would do without them.
"Oh, same old stuff. They're fine. So, you going to come with us? We're not exactly short of space." Donna asked as Martha smiled sadly looking over at us, Theta and I stood together watching them as he held our sleeping daughter happily. "Oh, I have missed all this, but, you know. I'm good here, back at home. And I'm better for having been away. Besides, someone needs me. Never mind the universe, I've got a great big world of my own now. And Kate is definitely okay now so she doesn't need me anymore." The door slams shut on its own and the time rotor activates, throwing everyone around.
Theta hands me our daughter as I move to the console seat and put my shield up around us. "What? What?" Theta tried to control her but it wasn't working, luckily thanks to my shield I wasn't being flung around like the others and Juniper was safe. "Doctor, don't you dare! What about Kate?!" Martha shouted in anger, "No, no, no. I didn't touch anything. We're in flight. It's not me. You think I would do this?!" He shouted back in irritation glaring at her insinuation. "Where are we going?"
"I don't know. It's out of control!"
"Doctor, just listen to me. You take me home. Take me home right now!"

So I ended up forgetting how I was going to put her giving birth into the story so I just wrote it here at the end. Yes, there was a small time skip because of Kate giving birth, I didn't want to jump right into the next episode so I decided to give them time to settle down after the birth and Martha is there Doctor so that's why she stayed for so long with everyone.
Yes Kate and The Baby will be safe, I won't put them in danger much and Kate will always protect her child.
She is a good mother but it is Doctor Who and he is The Doctor so I won't hear any complaints about the baby being put in danger or anything like that. This is a story and if you don't like how I write it please don't read any further.
I also apologize for the long wait, I had absolutely no motivation for this episode.
Thank you all for your love and support, you guys have been great and that's why I've been determined to let y'all know about things.
Please No Hate.
Also once again, bold is them talking to one another in their language which means the other don't understand.
Also I have a few more book ideas so I will be posting videos of those on my Tiktok, which by the way has blown up. Thank you all for the love and support, it makes me so happy to see people liking my videos and reading my books. I never thought I would get this far.
Have a wonderful day and Happy Late Halloween.
I also made a video for Kate on Halloween, go check it out.
