{"There's my babygirl!"}

On a glittering alien world, an attendant brings a telephone to Donna. She is lounging by the pool, wearing a bathrobe. Beside her in a covered bassinet is baby Fay, sound asleep. "I said, no." Donna uttered out in a loud yet annoyed tone with the man on the other side. "Sapphire waterfall. It's a waterfall made of sapphires. This enormous jewel, the size of a glacier Reaches the Cliffs of Oblivion, and then shatters into sapphires at the edge. They fall a hundred thousand feet into a crystal ravine." I smirked as I watched him rant, he wanted to take us on a nice vacation after what happened with River. I had been in the dumps for a bit, wondering about the women and how she knew us. Theta had decided to forget all about her and move on with his life, he didn't like her, didn't trust her, so he wanted to forget her.

He said he wanted to treat me with a date since we hadn't been on one in so long. Although with Donna it wasn't exactly a date, so Donna decided to take Fay and watch her for us so we can have time to ourselves. That was two days ago, we've been on a nice spa planet called midnight. It was a planet of jewels, Donna had been with Fay the whole time while Theta and I spent our days together. The first was spent in bed, it had been a minute since we've don't nothing but have sex all day. It was quite refreshing. The second day, we went exploring, and had a spa day of our own. An today was the last day, so Theta wanted to get Donna to come along with us. Apparently, she had booked her own spa day though, "I bet you say that to all the girls." Donna teased from the other side of the phone.

"Just Kate. Oh, come on. They're boarding now. It's no fun if I see it on me own. Four hours, that's all it takes." I could practically hear her eyes rolling, "No, that's four hours there and four hours back. That's like a school trip. I'd rather go sunbathing, besides Fays comfortable. So stop worrying Kate." I blushed and looked away, she knew me to well. "You be careful, that's Xtonic sunlight." Theta warned her, mostly for our child. "Oh, We're safe. It says in the brochure this glass is fifteen feet thick. Besides Fay has a cover over her bassinet, so the light isn't even touching her." Theta sighed when I patted him on the shoulder, the shuttle was about to leave. "All right, I give up. We'll be back for dinner. We'll try that anti-gravity restaurant. With bibs." He smiled down at me, holding his hand out for me to grab. "That's a date. Well, not a date. Oh, you know what I mean. Oh, get off."

"See you later."

"Oi. And you be careful, all right?"

"Nah. Taking a big space truck with a bunch of strangers across a diamond planet called Midnight? What could possibly go wrong?" He hangs the phone up and I sigh, "You know every time you say that, something always goes wrong." He paused thinking about it for a second before shrugging, "Guess it's a good thing I have my good luck charm." He leans down to kiss me, I hummed gently against his lips. "Thank you." I mutter as he pulls away, both of us heading towards the shuttle. "For what?" He asked looking down at me. "Just being you. For loving me." He smiled again, "Always."

Theta and I take our seats in the passenger compartment of the bus cum aeroplane. Other passengers are still boarding. "Complimentary juice pack and complimentary peanuts." The hostess comes around, standing beside a blonde women. "Just the headphones, please." She asked barely looking at her, "There you go." The hostess leaves the woman in the blue suit and comes over to us. "That's the headphones for channels one to thirty six. Modem link for 3D vidgames. Complimentary earplugs. Complimentary slippers. Complimentary juice pack and complimentary peanuts. I must warn you some products may contain nuts." She spoke off monotone like, she must really hate her job. "That'll be the peanuts." Theta smiles up at her, she just fake smiles back. "Enjoy your trip." I snorted lightly as she turned to leave. "Oh, I can't wait. Allons-y." She paused turning back to look at him annoyed. "I'm sorry?" She asked cocking her head, "It's French, for let's go." Theta uttered back slightly awkward, he could sense her distain. "Fascinating." A man, and his petite Indian assistant have taken the seats behind us.

"Headphones for channels one to thirty six."

"Oh no, thank you, not for us."

"Earplugs, please."

"There you go."

"They call it the Sapphire Waterfall, but it's no such thing. Sapphire's an aluminium oxide, but the glacier is just compound silica with iron pigmentation." The hostess moves on to a couple, man and woman. "Complimentary juice pack and complimentary peanuts." She repeated to the couple, "Thank you." The woman smiled up at the hostess. "Have you got that pillow for my neck?" The man in the glasses spoke up from behind us towards his assistant. Theta shot me a look causing me to chuckle. "Yes, sir." She uttered out, "And the pills?" He asked again, "Yes, all measured out for you. There you go." Hobbes leans over to meet Theta, who was playing with my fingers. He places a kiss on my hand, "Hobbes. Professor Winfold Hobbes." The man smiled holding out his hand, "I'm the Doctor, this is my Kate. Hello." I blushed as Theta turned to me with a big smile.

"It's my fourteenth time." The man laughed, "Oh. Our first." Theta responded awkwardly causing me to squeeze his hand. "And I'm Dee Dee, Dee Dee Blasco." The woman smiled at us, I smiled back as well. "Don't bother the man. Where's my water bottle?" I scoffed at the rude man as Theta turned away from them. He turned to stare at me, "What?" I asked gently causing him to smile. "Nothing, your just beautiful." I immediately pulled him in for a kiss, when I pulled away he was dazed. "Complimentary slippers, complimentary juice pack, and complimentary peanuts. I must warn you some products may contain nuts." A somewhat familiar teenage boy is sitting across the aisle from his parents. "Don't be silly. Come and sit with us. Look, we get slippers." The mother smiled at her son, but it seemed more forced than anything.

"Jethro. Do what your mother says." His father snapped towards him, "I'm sitting here." Jethro snapped back at his father, "Oh, he's ashamed of us, but he doesn't mind us paying, does he?" The father grumbled lowly. "Oh, don't you two start. Should I save the juice pack or have it now? Look, peach and clementine." Boarding is complete.

"Ladies and gentlemen, and variations thereupon, welcome on board the Crusader Fifty. If you would fasten your seatbelts, we'll be leaving any moment. Doors." The doors close, "Shields down." The windows are shielded. "I'm afraid the view is shielded until we reach the Waterfall Palace. Also, a reminder. Midnight has no air, so please don't touch the exterior door seals. Fire exit at the rear, and should we need to use it, you first. Now I will hand you over to Driver Joe." A man speaks through the speakers of the ship. "Driver Joe at the wheel. There's been a diamondfall at the Winter Witch Canyon, so we'll be taking a slight detour, as you'll see on the map. The journey covers five hundred kliks to the Multifaceted Coast. Duration is estimated at four hours. Thank you for travelling with us, and as they used to say in the olden days, wagons roll."

The shuttle shakes a bit, "For your entertainment, we have the Music Channel playing retrovids of Earth classics." Dropdown screens show a pop video of some woman. "Also, the latest artistic installation from Ludovico Klein." Something holographic, "Plus, for the youngsters, a rare treat. The Animation Archives." A projection of Betty Boop onto a screen in front of the drivers cabin door. "Four hours of fun time. Enjoy." That is why she hands out earplugs. Sky looks up from her book, very unhappy. Theta powers up his sonic screwdriver and suddenly it goes quiet. The screens return to their docks, "Well, that's a mercy." I smirked towards Theta who shot me a wink in return. "I do apologise, ladies and gentlemen, and variations thereupon. We seem to had a failure of the Entertainment System."

"Oh."

"But what do we do?"

"We've got four hours of this? Four hours of just sitting here?"

"Tell you what. We'll have to talk to each other instead."

98 kliks later...Everyone is listening to Val and Biff's stories, except for Kate who is passed out in The Doctor's lap. Occasionally he would look down to check on her before moving his attention back to the stories. He knew she needed rest, she usually got up with Fay even though he made it clear that he would for her. She insisted that he needed the sleep, not that they actually needed it.

251 kliks later... I had woken up to Theta joining me in the seats, "Your awake." He hummed gently as he pulled me back into his lap. "What did I miss?" I muttered lowly, still rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "Nothing. Just bored without you to entertain me." I nodded with a smile as I watched Professor Hobbes give an illustrated lecture. Even Jethro is interested, "So, this is Midnight, do you see, bombarded by the sun. Xtonic rays, raw galvanic radiation. Dee Dee, next slide. It's my pet project. Actually, I'm the first person to research this. Because, you see, the history is fascinating. Because there is no history. There's no life in this entire system. There couldn't be. Before the Leisure Palace Company moved in, no one had come here in all eternity. No living thing."

"But how do you know? I mean, if no one can go outside." Jethro questioned making a series point. "Oh, his imagination. Here we go." Jethro's mom spoke up with a small scoff, "He's got a point, though." I pointed out, the other finally noticing I was awake. "Exactly. We look upon this world through glass, safe inside our metal box. Even the Leisure Palace was lowered down from orbit. And here we are now, crossing Midnight, but never touching it." There was a loud crunch as the small shuttle came to a stop. "We've stopped. Have we stopped?" Jethro's mother panicked, I looked towards Theta who was already frowning himself. "Are we there?" This time it was Jethro's father, "We can't be, it's too soon." Dee Dee frowned as she looked towards Hobbes who shook his head. "They don't stop. Crusader vehicles never stop." He insisted with a slightly frightened look. "If you could just return to your seats. It's just a small delay." The hostess goes to the intercom phone.

"Maybe just a pit stop." The father asked with a shrug as we watched the hostess speak lowly into the comms. "There's no pit to stop in. I've been on this expedition fourteen times. They never stop." Hobbes explained with determination, "Well, evidently we have stopped, so there's no point in denying it." The blonde woman in the black suit stated with an eye roll. Theta probably knew everyone's names but I had been asleep so I was still clueless. "We've broken down." Jethro stated as he moved to the seat behind Theta and I. "Thanks, Jethro." His mother glared in annoyance, "In the middle of nowhere." Jethro spoke back with a smirk causing me to snort lightly. "That's enough. Now stop it." His father glared, "Ladies and gentlemen, and variations thereupon. We're just experiencing a short delay. The driver needs to stabilise the engine feeds. It's perfectly routine, so if you could just stay in your seats."

Theta gently moves me, placing a kiss on my forehead before he gets up and walks towards the driver's door. "No, I'm sorry, sir, I. Could you please?" He flashes his psychic paper. "There you go. Engine expert. Two ticks." He then opens the driver's door, I ended getting up and moving behind him. "I'm sorry, ma'am, sir. if you could just sit down. You're not supposed to be in there." There are two men in the compartment. "Sorry. If you could return to your seat, please." One of the spoke up as they took notice of us. "Company insurance. Let's see if we can get an early assessment. So, what's the problem, Driver Joe?" I raised an eyebrow towards Theta as I leaned against the wall to watch him. "We're stabilising the engine feeds. Won't take long." Driver Joe insisted, "Er, no, because that's the engine feed, that line there, and it's fine. And it's a micropetrol engine, so stabilising doesn't really make sense, does it? Sorry. I'm the Doctor, I'm very clever. So, what's wrong?"

"We just stopped. Look, all systems fine, everything's working, but we're not moving." He scans with his screwdriver, the door having closed behind me. "Yeah, you're right. No faults. And who are you?" He turned to the second pilot, "Claude. I'm the mechanic. Trainee." Theta nods with a small smirk. "Nice to meet you. This is my Kate." I gave a small wave and a fake smile, "I've sent a distress signal. They should dispatch a rescue truck, top speed." Claude spoke up causing us to nod back, "How long till they get here?" I asked them, "About an hour." Theta and I make eye contact, "Well, since we're waiting, shall we take a look outside? Just lift the screens a bit?" Theta asked them with a smile, he looked back at me excitedly. I knew he wanted me to see the view, as he reached for my hand. "It's a hundred percent Xtonic out there. We'd be vaporised." Joe snipped in annoyance, "Nah. Those windows are Finitoglass. They'd give you a couple of minutes. Go on, live a little." Both men paused, "Well." He raises the front screen, my eyes widened at the beautiful bright view. "Wow."

"Oh, that is beautiful."

"Look at all those diamonds. Poisoned by the sun. No-one can ever touch them."

"Joe, you said we took a detour?"

"Just about forty kliks to the west."

"Is that a recognised path?"

"No, it's a new one. The computer worked it out on automatic." Joe stated in fact, I hummed lowly as Thera nodded. "So we're the first. This piece of ground. No one's ever been here before. Not in the whole of recorded history." Theta murmurs gently looking towards me with a smile. "Did you just? No, sorry, it's nothing." I frowned at Claude who shook his head, trying to clear what he thought he saw. "What did you see?" Theta and I asked together with a frown as we looked over the vast shiny land. "Just there. That ridge. Like, like a shadow. Just, just for a second." Claude pointed but I couldn't see anything neither could Theta. "What sort of shadow?" A couple of beeps sounding throughout the cabin. "Xtonic rising. Shields down." Joe spoke, pressing a few buttons before the shields started to lower once again. "Look, look. There it is, there it is. Look, there."

"Where? What was it?" The shields close, before we could see whatever it was. "Like just something shifting. Something sort of dark, like it was running." My heart skipped for a second as I looked towards the man. "Running which way?" I asked urgently, "Towards us." He breathed out, Theta and I making eye contact in worry. "Right, Doctor, back to your seat. And, er, not a word. Rescue's on its way. If you could close the door. Thank you." Before we left, I turned to Theta. "Right. Sorry, was asleep. Names?" He looked down at me with a small laugh before kissing me gently. "Biff, Val and Sky." I nodded looking up at him with a smile. "Got it. Thanks, my love."

"Anytime, my angel."

Sky is waiting by the door as we come out. "What did they say? Did they tell you? What is it? What's wrong?" Sky continues to question, "Oh, just stabilising. Happens all the time." Theta mutters lowly as she scoffs, "I don't need this. I'm on a schedule. This is completely unnecessary." Sky glares in annoyance, "Back to your seats, thank you." The hostess goes into the cockpit. "Excuse me, Kate, Doctor, but they're micropetrol engines, aren't they?" Dee Dee asked us with a cock of her head. "Now, don't bother the man." Hobbes hissed gently causing me to roll my eyes with a scoff. "My father was a mechanic. Micropetrol doesn't stabilise. What does stabilise mean?" Dee Dee asked us, Theta cleared his throat before smiling awkwardly. "Well. Bit of flim-flam. Don't worry, they're sorting it out." Theta tried to calm her.

"So it's not the engines?" Hobbes asked becoming noisy, "It's just a little pause, that's all." I snapped back in sudden annoyance towards the humans. "How much air have we got?" Hobbes asked, great. Trying to start a panic, are we? "Professor, it's fine." Theta told him with a small glare, "What did he say?" Val asked, this time everyone was listening into the conversation. "Nothing." I spoke up, "Are we running out of air?" The hostess reenters the compartment. "I was just speculating." Hobbes tried to calm the others, now realizing the mistake he made. "Is that right, miss? Are we running out of air?" Biff looked towards the Hostess who glared slightly at us. "Is that what the Captain said?" Val asked, her panic becoming more. "If you could all just remain calm." The Hostess held up her hands with a small smile. "How much air have we got?"

"Mum, just stop it."

"I assure you, everything is under control."

"Well, doesn't look like it to me."

"Well, he said it."

"It's fine. The air is on a circular filter."

"He started it..."

Theta looked towards me as he noticed my eyes starting to glow with my growing annoyance. "Easy, baby. I've got this." He spoke gently, giving me a kiss instantly calming me down. My powers have been trying to catch up now that I wasn't pregnant anymore. It doesn't happen often but I have had outbursts of power within the Tardis that I have learned to control. It doesn't help that I can sense danger and I'm not with my daughter. Theta calms me down enough but even then, I'm afraid if I don't have him no one will be able to hold me back. "Everyone! Quiet!" The cabin goes quiet, "Thank you. Now, if you'd care to listen to my good friend Dee Dee." She looked shocked that he was giving her the floor. "Oh. Er, it's just that, well, the air's on a circular filter, so we could stay breathing for ten years." She shrugged gently, Val finally calming down. "There you go. And I've spoken to the Captain. I can guarantee you everything's fine." Just as he said that two thumps are heard. My head pounds at the sound causing me to hiss slightly in pain. "What was that?" Val asked, her panic coming back. "It must be the metal. We're cooling down. It's just settling." Hobbes suggested, trying to calm everyone. "Rocks. It could be rocks falling."

"What I want to know is, how long do we have to sit here." Thump, thump, on another part of the hull. "What is that?" Sky asked moving behind me as Theta moved slightly in the direction. "There's someone out there." Val practically shouted, "Now, don't be ridiculous." Hobbes scoffed with a shake of his head. "Like I said, it could be rocks." Dee Dee insisted but this time I shook my head. "We're out in the open. Nothing could fall against the sides." I told everyone before more thumps sounded. "Knock, knock." Theta breathed out, "Who's there?" Jethro's taunted with a smirk causing me to slightly smirk back. It was a little funny. "Is there something out there? Well? Anyone?" Thump, thump. "What the hell is making that noise?" Sky spoke up lowly, her panic starting to rise now. "I'm sorry, but the light out there is Xtonic. That means it would destroy any living thing in a split second. It is impossible for someone to be outside."

Thump, thump. "Well, what the hell is that, then?" She snapped back angrily, "Sir, you really should get back to your seat." Theta uses his stethoscope on the hull, I mentally prepared myself incase I needed to expose my powers. "Hello?" Thump, thump. Quicker now, "It's moving." The emergency exit rattles. "It's trying the door." Val gasped in shock as Theta moved with the sounds. "There is no it. There's nothing out there. Can't be." More trying of the emergency exit, then two thumps on the roof, and two more on the entrance door. "That's the entrance. Can it get in?" Val asked in horror, "No. That door's on two hundred weight hydraulics." Dee Dee insisted with a shake of her head. "Stop it. Don't encourage them." Hobbes hissed at her, the woman just scoffed looking up at him. "What do you think it is?" She snapped back in annoyance causing me to smirk. "Biff, don't." We turned to see said man moving in closer towards the door.

"Mister Cane. Better not." Theta warned but the man of course didn't listen which caused Theta to roll his eyes in exasperation as he looked back at me. "Nah, it's cast iron, that door." Biff knocks three times, and gets three thumps in reply. "Three times. Did you hear that? It did it three times." Val practically shouted causing me to groan in annoyance. "It answered." Jethro smirked almost excitedly, "It did it three times!" I turned to her with a glare. "We get it!" I snarled angrily, "All right, all right, all right. Everyone calm down." Theta gripped my hand causing me to take a deep breath and nod back. "No, but it answered. It answered. Don't tell me that thing's not alive. It answered him." Thump, thump, thump. "I really must insist you get back to your seats." The Hostess tried to reason gently, her own panic slowly developing. "No, don't just stand there telling us the rules. You're the hostess. You're supposed to do something."

Theta knocks on the door four times. There is a long pause before he gets the four thumps in reply. "What is it? What the hell's making that noise? She said she'd get me. Stop it. Make it stop. Somebody make it stop. Don't just stand there looking at me. It's not my fault. He started it with his stories." The hostess gets on the intercom. "Calm down!" Dee Dee and I shouted together at the woman. "And he made it worse!" She continued to cry out, "You're not helping." Val snarked, "Neither are you with your questions!" I snapped back at her, my patience already thin. "Why didn't you leave it alone? Stop staring at me. Just tell me what the hell it is." Sky continued to cry, "Calm down!" The thumping starts again. "It's coming for me. Oh, it's coming for me. It's coming for me. It's coming for me. It's coming for me."

Sky backs up to the driver's door and screams. "Get out of there!" Boom! The whole shuttle rocks from side to side and sparks fly. The entertainment system comes back online as the lights go out. Everyone groans as we all move to stand, "You all right? Okay." Biff asked his family, Theta coming to me with a worried look. "Arms, legs, neck, head, nose, lips. God your lips." I raise an eyebrow as I smirk up at him. He blinks before blushing and looking back at the group. "Kate's fine. I'm fine. Everyone else? How are we?" The pop singer on the screen behind the Doctor is replaced by an image of Rose mouthing Doctor, Doctor, before it goes blank again. Kate nor he notice her. "How are we? Everyone all right?" Theta asked going around to check everyone. "Earthquake. Must be." Hobbes insisted, it wasn't an earthquake. It was something more, much more. "But that's impossible. The ground is fixed. It's solid." Dee Dee shook her head with a frown. "We've got torches. Everyone take a torch. They're in the back of the seats."

"Oh, Jethro. Sweetheart, come here." Val calls for Jethro who scoffed at his mother staring off to the side. "Never mind me. what about her?" Sky is sitting amongst the remains of the front row. My eyes flash, as I notice something wrong. That wasn't possible, "What happened to the seats?" Val asked in horror, "Who did that?" Biff spoke up after his wife. "They've been ripped up." Val told everyone the obvious statement. "It's all right, it's all right, it's all right. It's over. We're still alive. Look, the wall's still intact. Do you see?" Intact but dented inwards. "Joe? Claude?" The Hostess calls into the intercom, "We're safe." My hand tightened against Theta's as he looked down at me. I shook my head, he took a breath and closed his eyes with a nod. "Driver Joe, can you hear me? I'm not getting any response. The intercom must be down." The hostess opens the driver's door and bright light floods the cabin. An alarm sounds until she manages to close it again.

"What happened? What was that?" Val questions as I take a breath for the two men who were now long gone. "Is it the driver? Have we lost the driver?" Biff asked turning to look at everyone, "The cabin's gone." The Hostess gapped in horror. "Don't be ridiculous. It can't be gone. How can it be gone?" Hobbes questioned with a scoff as he too looked towards Theta. "Well, well, you saw it." Dee Dee Insisted, "There was nothing there, like it was ripped away." The Hostess sat down in shock at the realization. "What are you doing?" Biff aims his torchlight at the panel Theta is working on, not gonna lie I just realized he moved away from me to do so as well. "Ah, that's better. Little bit of light. Thank you. Molto bene." He winks at me as the Hostess rolls her eyes at his words. I let out a small chuckle, "Do you know what you're doing?" Val asked with a cross of her arms. "The cabin's gone. You'd better leave that wall alone."

"The cabin can't be gone." Hobbes shouted causing Dee Dee to close her eyes in annoyance, I stayed on the other side away from Sky. "No, it's safe. Any rupture would automatically seal itself." Theta removes the panel and looks at the wiring. "But something sliced it off. You're right, the cabin's gone." Everyone pauses in horror, "But if it gets separated?" She paused with wide eyes, "It loses integrity. I'm sorry, they've been reduced to dust. The driver and the mechanic. But they sent a distress signal. Help is on its way. They saved our lives. We are going to get out of here, I promise. We're still alive, and they are going to find us." Theta explained to everyone as he turned to face them, Jethro and I seeming to be the only ones watching the body of Sky. "Doctor, look at her." Sky hasn't moved. "Right. Yes. Sorry. Have we got a medical kit?" Theta asked, "Why won't she turn around?" Jethro asked looking towards me as if he knew I knew the answer. "What's her name?" I asked the Hostess, ignoring his look. "Silvestry. Mrs Sky Silvestry." She responded quickly, Theta nods moving to bend down behind her. "Sky? Can you hear me? Are you all right? Can you move, Sky? Just look at me." Theta went to reach for her but I grabbed his hand to stop him. Shaking my head when he looked up at me, my instincts telling me this unknown creature wouldn't take kindly.

"That noise from outside. It's stopped." Jethro stated in fact, "Well, thank God for that." Val huffed out, "But what if it's not outside anymore? What if it's inside?"

"Inside? Where?" Val asked looking towards her son, "It was heading for her." He pointed towards Sky, everyone's attention back on her. "Sky? It's all right, Sky. I just want you to turn around, face me." Sky turns slowly and stares into the torchlight. She then turns to Theta who stares back, he soon cocks his head which causes her to do the same. "Sky?" He asked gently, "Sky?" She repeated back, my head suddenly started to pound as she spoke. "Are you all right?" He asked me, looking up for a second. "Are you all right?" She repeats causing him to turn back to face her with a deep frown. "Are you hurt?" He asked gently, "Are you hurt?" Every time she repeated him, it almost sounded like a mock. "You don't have to talk." He insisted gently, "You don't have to talk." I hissed in pain, my eyes flashing causing her to hiss back at me. "I'm trying to help." He spoke gently, reaching up to grab my hand. I slowly sat down next to him, a wave of exhaustion hitting me. "I'm trying to help." She connecting with him, in ways nothing but a fellow Timelord could and it was killing me. "My name's the Doctor." He spoke, "My name's the Doctor." I glared, my eyes flashing again as I pushed her back against our mental barrier. The last thing I wanted was her inside Theta's head. If she gets in, my connection will weaken, which won't be good for anyone. "Okay, can you stop?" I snarled, "Okay, can you stop?" She snapped her gaze to me, her eyes hollow as her voice copied mine.

"I'd like you to stop." My eyes flash again and it swipes at me, whatever this was it didn't like my mind games. "I'd like you to stop." It still repeated though, "Why's she doing that?" Hobbes asked, her head whipping to him. "Why's she doing that?" She repeats causing him to gap, "She's gone mad." Biff scoffs, "She's gone mad." Sky repeats him as well. "Stop it." Val speaks up this time, "Stop it." Theta continues to observe as I grip his hand tightly. "I said stop it." Val hissed angrily, "I said stop it." Sky repeats back in the same manner. "I don't think she can." Dee Dee speaks up, "I don't think she can." Sky copies, now staring at her. "All right now, stop it. This isn't funny." Hobbes demanded glaring at the body, "All right now, stop it. This isn't funny." Sky repeats. "Shush, shush, shush, all of you." She whips back to face Theta. "Shush, shush, shush, all of you."

"My name's Jethro." Jethro smirks as she repeats, "My name's Jethro." I roll my eyes in annoyance, "Jethro, leave it. Just shut up." I snip at him, "Jethro, leave it. Just shut up." She stares at me, "Why are you repeating?" I asked her, "Why are you repeating?" She asked back, "What is that, learning?" Theta asked me more than Sky, "What is that, learning?" I shrug back in response, "Copying?" I ask back at him as a suggestion. "Copying?" He pauses to think, "Absorbing?" He asked giving me a raised eyebrows causing me to nod back with another shrug. Maybe. "Absorbing?" We both turn back to her, "The square root of pi is 1.772453850905516027298167483341. Wow." She starts overlapping him, "The square root of pi is 1.772453850905516027298167483341. Wow."

Her face seems to darken, it was learning and it was getting cocky about it. "But that's impossible." Hobbes spoke up in shock, "But that's impossible." Her head snapped towards him, "She couldn't repeat all that." Dee Dee stated looking towards Hobbes, "She couldn't repeat all that." Her eyes had moved to Dee Dee, "Tell her to stop." Val insisted in a panic. "Tell her to stop." Sky looked at her, it seemed she was starting to have fun with this. "She's driving me mad." Val stated, I scoffed shes already mad. "She's driving me mad." Sky paused, looking towards me as if she was going to say what I was thinking. "Just make her stop!" Val cried out, Sky turned back to her. "Just make her stop!" People start talking over each other, with Sky still repeating their words. "Stop her staring at me. Shut her up. It's got to be a trick. That's impossible. I'm telling you, whatever your name is. Now, just stop it all of you. Her eyes. What's wrong with her eyes? She can copy anything. Biff, don't just stand there, do something. Make her stop. You're scaring my wife. Mrs Silvestry.

Six, six, six." She suddenly paused, I took notice right away. "She's different. She's something else. Do something. Make her stop." The only part she repeats was the end, "Make her stop." The lights come back on, shutting everyone up.

"That's the back up system."

"Well, that's a bit better."

"What about the rescue? How long's it going to take?"

"About sixty minutes, that's all."

"Then I suggest we all calm down. This panic isn't helping. That poor woman is evidently in a state of..." Sky suddenly starts speaking with him. "Self induced hysteria. We should leave her alone." He finished, and so did she. Theta moves to help me sit in a seat as my head begins to pound harder. "Doctor." Jethro started, immediately catching on to her change. "I know." He responded moving to stand in front of me. Now that she wasn't coping him, it was easier to breathe. "Doctor, now step back. I think you should leave her. Alone. What's she doing?" Hobbes looked at the woman in horror, "How can she do that? She's talking with you. And with me. Oh, my God. Biff, what's she doing?" Val cried out with Sky, "She's repeating, at exactly the same time." Jethro, Sky and I spoke together. "That's impossible." Dee Dee/ Sky insisted, "There's not even a delay." Hobbes/Sky gapped in shock at one another. "Oh man, that is weird." Jethro/Sky breathed out together. "I think you should all be very, very quiet. Have you got that?" I winced again as she pounded on Theta's mental block. I could feel it better since I was his link, which is the same with me. Every time she copied me, he would wince in pain himself. I had to stay quiet for him to think, he was the brains so I needed to man up and take the pain.

"How's she doing it?" Val/Sky yelled out causing me to wince again, Thera turning to her in annoyance and anger. "Mrs Cane, please be quiet." He snarled angrily at her, "How can she do that? She's got my voice! She's got my words!" Val/Sky yelled again, Val though had tears in her eyes. "Come on, be quiet. Hush, now. Hush. She's doing it to me." Biff/Sky spoke as Biff pulled his wife into his arms. Theta moved to face Sky again much to my displeasure. "Just stop it, all of you. Stop it, please. Now then, Sky. Are you Sky? Is Sky still in there? Mrs Silvestry? You know exactly what I'm going to say. How are you doing that? Roast beef. Bananas. The Medusa Cascade. Bang! Kate Smith, Martha Jones, Donna Noble, Tardis. Shamble bobble dibble dooble. Oh, Doctor, you're so handsome. Yes, I am, thank you. Kate is one sexy mom, isn't she? Yes, she is. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O. First she repeats, then she catches up. What's the next stage?"

He stands up and backs away, "Next stage of what?" Dee Dee/ Sky ask together, "That's not her, is it. That's not Mrs Silvestry any more." Jethro/Sky make a point as I nod towards the boy who looked at me. His slowly moves over to stand behind the seats I was using. "I don't think so, no. I think the more we talk, the more she learns. Now, I'm all for education, but in this case, maybe not. Let's just move back. Come on. Come with me. Everyone, get back. All of you, as far as you can." Theta moves to pick me up causing me to pout in response as Jethro is forced back by his parents. "Doctor, make her stop." Val/Sky whimpers as everyone moves away. "Val, come with me. Come to the back. Stop looking at her. Come on, Jethro. You too. Everyone, come on. Fifty minutes, that's all we need. Fifty minutes till the rescue arrives. And she's not exactly strong. Look at her. All she's got is our voices." He makes sure everyone is away and not looking. "I can't, I can't look at her. It's those eyes." Val continues to cry out causing me to groan in annoyance. She so wasn't helping the headache, "We must not look at goblin men." Dee Dee speaks up, everyone but Theta and I turns to her in confusion. "What's that supposed to mean?" Biff asks with a glare, Sky is still behind us copying. "It's a poem. Christina Rossetti." Theta tells everyone.

"We must not look at goblin men. We must not buy their fruits. Who knows upon what soil they fed Their hungry, thirsty roots?" Dee Dee recites the poem, "Actually, I don't think that's helping." Theta explains gently with a wince, "She's not a goblin, or a monster. She's just a very sick woman." Hobbes insisted, "Maybe that's why it went for her." Jethro suggested, he was the only one in the group that I actually liked other than Theta of course. "There is no it." Hobbes scoffed with an eye roll, "Think about it though. That knocking went all the way round the bus until it found her. And she was the most scared out of all of us. Maybe that's what it needed. That's how it got in." He made extremely good points to this situation. "For the last time. Nothing can live on the surface of Midnight." Nothing human maybe, but that thing wasn't human. "Professor, I'm glad you've got an absolute definition of life in the universe, but perhaps the universe has got ideas of its own, hmm? Now trust me, I've got previous. I think there might well be some consciousness inside Mrs Silvestry, but maybe she's still in there. And it's our job to help her."

"Well, you can help her. I'm not going near." Biff insisted looking toward Theta and I, "No, I've got to stay back, because if she's copying us, then maybe the final stage is becoming us. I don't want her becoming me, or things could get a whole lot worse." I spoke up this time, Theta winced but it didn't seem to hurt him as much as me. Maybe it was because of the mental position my powers were on, I was on a different wave length than him which seems to be a bad thing. Especially in cases such as this one, "Oh, like you're so special." Val scoffed glaring at me, I glared right back as I moved out of Theta's arms. "As it happens, yes, I am." I hissed angrily, Theta immediately pulling me back before speaking up. "So that's decided. We stay back, and we wait. When the rescue ship comes, we can get her to hospital." He suggested gently, "We should throw her out." The Hostess speaks finally speaks up, "I beg your pardon?" Hobbes asked in shock, "Can we do that?" Val asked in slight excitement to maybe get rid of the woman.

"Don't be ridiculous." Theta scoffed, "That thing, whatever it is, killed the driver, and the mechanic, and I don't think she's finished yet." The Hostess insisted with a frown. "She can't even move." Theta hissed in annoyance at the woman, "Look at her. Look at her eyes. She killed Joe, and she killed Claude, and we're next." The Hostess cried out causing me to groan, Jethro slowly places a hand on me with a small smile. I smiled back gently, he was kind. "She's still doing it. Just stop it. Stop talking. Stop it!" Biff yelled over our shoulders, "Biff, don't, sweetheart." Val pushed her husband back, first good decision she's made all day. "But she won't stop. We can't throw her out, though. We can't even open the doors." Biff snarled angrily, "No one is getting thrown out." I snarled in annoyance, "Yes, we can. Because there's an air pressure seal. Like when you opened the cabin door, you weren't pulled out. You had a couple of seconds, because it takes the pressure wall about six seconds to collapse. Well, six seconds exactly. That's enough time to throw someone out."

"Thanks, Dee Dee. Just what we needed." Theta snipped back sarcastically at the young woman, "Would it kill her outside?" Val asked, "I don't know. But she's got a body now. It would certainly kill the physical form." Theta looked at them in shock, "No one is killing anyone." He stated in slight horror at these people. "I wouldn't risk the cabin door twice, but we've got that one. All we need to do is grab hold of her and throw her out." The Hostess suggested again, "Now, listen, all of you. For all we know that's a brand new life form over there. And if it's come inside to discover us, than what's it found? This little bunch of humans. What do you amount to, murder? Because this is where you decide. You decide who you are. Could you actually murder her? Any of you? Really? Or are you better than that?"

"I'd do it."

"So would I."

"And me."

"I think we should."

"What?"

"I want her out."

"You can't say that."

"I'm sorry, but you said it yourself, Doctor. She is growing in strength." Dee Dee insisted, Sky still speaking with everyone. "That's not what I said." He snarled back at her, "I want to go home. I'm sorry. I want to be safe." Dee Dee teared up, "You'll be safe any minute now. The rescue truck is on its way." Theta insisted, "But what happens then, Doctor? If it takes that thing back to the Leisure Palace, if that thing reaches civilisation. What if it spreads?" The Hostess wasn't right, but she made a valid point. "No, because when we get back to the base, I'll be there to contain it." I looked up at him with a small frown, but Fay would be there as well. That's my only point on the matter, "You haven't done much so far." Val scoffed with an eye roll, "You're just standing in the back with the rest of us." Biff pointed out, "She's dangerous. It's my job to see that this vessel is safe, and we should get rid of her." The Hostess insisted, Hobbes finally moving to speak up.

"Now, hang on. I think perhaps we're all going a little bit too far." Theta smiled at the man, "At last. Thank you." The Hostess glared, "Two people are dead." She insisted, "Don't make it a third. Jethro, what do you say?" I snapped at her before turning to the boy. "I'm not killing anyone." He responded back shaking his head and giving me a small smile. His eyes flashing gold for a split second as did mine. Ah. "Thank you." I breathed out gently, my headache disappearing. He shoots me a wink, as I look away. "He's just a boy." Val scoffed towards him. "What, so I don't get a vote?" He snipped back, glaring at the woman. "There isn't a vote. It's not happening. Ever. If you try to throw her out that door, you'll have to get past me first."

"Okay."

"Fine by me."

"Oh, now you're being stupid. Just think about it. Could you actually take hold of someone and throw them out of that door?" Biff moved towards Theta causing me to step in front of him. "Calling me a coward?" He hissed as I pushed him back, "Don't touch him." I snarled in anger, "Who put you in charge, anyway?" Val asked with a glare of her own. "I'm sorry, but you're a Doctor of what, exactly?" Stupid humans! "He wasn't even booked in. The rest of you, tickets in advance. He just turned up out of the blue with her, what's her deal anyway? She's been acting strange." I snarled back at the woman causing her to flinch, "We're just travelling. We're traveller's, that's all." Theta spoke up trying to calm them, "Like an immigrant?" Val scoffed looking us up and down. "Who were you talking to? Before you got on board, you were talking to someone. Who was that?"

My eyes started to flash again as the room lights began to flicker, "Just shut up! Shut up, my head is killing me and you stupid humans aren't helping!" I shouted as the room stopped, one of the lights popping as everyone stared at me. My eyes were glowing but I had my head down so they couldn't see, Jethro and Theta move to help me sit. Theta looks at the boy in confusion bud doesn't say anything. "You called us humans like you're not one of us." Biff slowly spoke up causing Theta to stand up with Jethro and turn to face everyone. "She did. That's what she said. And the wiring. He went into that panel and opened up the wiring." Theta rolled his eyes in annoyance as I watch them, "That was after." He told them in exasperation. "But how did you know what to do?" Biff asked, "Because I'm clever!" Theta shouted finally shutting everyone up, only it didn't last long. "I see. Well, that makes things clear." Hobbes scoffed, "And what are we, then? Idiots?" Biff asked moving to stand against Theta again. "Yes. That's exactly what you are, now go stand in the corner and shut up!" I shouted, he flinched back in fear.

"If you're clever, then what are we?"

"You've been looking down on us from the moment we walked in."

"Even if he goes, he's practically volunteered."

"Oh come on, just listen to yourself, please."

"Do you mean we throw her out as well?"

"You touch me, I'll kill you."

"Look, just. Right, sorry, yes, hold on, just. I know you're scared, and so am I. Look at me, I am. But we have all got to calm down and cool off and think." Theta tried to calm everyone but it wasn't working well enough, "Perhaps you could tell us your name." Hobbes asked gently, "John Smith." Theta responded back, "Your real name." I scoff with an eye roll, "That is his name." I snarled, "His eyes are the same as hers." Val pointed, "What is it with you and eyes? Your a moron if you think his eyes are anywhere close to being the same as that things." I snipped as I pointed back at Sky who was watching with a smirk. "What's your name?" Hobbes asked again, "No one's called John Smith. Come off it." Biff scoffed, I turned to look at the man. "You are a idiot. John Smith actually happens to be a common name. Who names there kid, Biff? Only morons like you." Biff rushed at me, Theta immediately stepping in between. "Now listen to me. Listen to me right now, because you need me, all of you. If we are going to get out of this, then you need me." Theta insisted as my heart pounded, my head mentally prepared for an attack. "So you keep saying. You've been repeating yourself more than her."

"If anyone's in charge, it should be the Professor. He's the expert." I rolled my eyes, "Mum, stop. Just look." Jethro tried to get everyone's attention, that's when I finally noticed as well. "Look at her!" He shouted, "She's stopped." I breathed out, "When did she? No, she hasn't. She's still doing it." My head snapped towards Theta as she stared him down. "She looks the same to me. No, she's stopped. Look, I'm talking, and she's not." Val smiled smugly, "What about me, is she? Look. Look at that. She's not doing me. She's let me go." Biff tried, "Mrs Silvestry? Nor me. Nothing." Dee Dee smiled as well, "Sky, what are you doing?" Theta insisted as he slowly moved in her direction. "She's still doing him." Dee Dee spoke up, "Doctor, it's you. She's only copying you." No shit, Hobbes. "Why me? Why are you doing this?" He asked her, she just continued to stare him down. "She won't leave him alone."

"Do you see? I said so. She's with him."

"They're together."

"Bill, Val. Shut up, your lowering the IQ of everyone in here." I snarled back causing them to shut up. "How do you explain it, Doctor, if you're so clever?" Hobbes went to move forwards but I pointed at him. "I don't know. Sky, stop it. I said stop it. Just stop it. Mrs Silvestry, I'm trying to understand. You've captured my speech. What for? What do you need? You need my voice in particular. The cleverest voice in the room. Why? Because I'm the only one who can help? Oh, I'd love that to be true, but your eyes, they're saying something else. Listen to me. Whatever you want, if it's life, or form, or consciousness, or voice, you don't have to steal it. You can find it without hurting anyone. And I'll help you. That's a promise. So, what do you think?"

"Do we have a deal?" My eyes widened as our connection broke, I couldn't hear anything other than ringing. He wasn't sound anymore, she spoke first, he fell into her trap. I held my head with a groan, "Oh, look at that. I'm ahead of you." I cried out as I fell to the ground. "Did you see? She spoke before he did. Definitely." He fell down as well in front of her. "Doctor, what's happening?" Hobbes asked looking towards the man, "I think it's moved. I think it's letting me go." He suddenly jumped as my body stutters, I let out a pained shout again. Jethro immediately rushes to my side while everyone else pays attention to him. "What do you mean? Letting you go from what?" Dee Dee asks her, no one cares. "But he's repeating now. He's the one doing it. It's him." I reach for Biff in anger, who smacks me back down. Jethro glares up at the man, "Mrs Silvestry, is that you?" Hobbes asked, "Yes. Yes, it's me." Theta soon starts to repeat her, "I'm coming back. Listen. It's me." I slowly start to get up, "Like it's passed into the Doctor. It's transferred. Whatever it is, it's gone inside him." Hobbes states, Jethro stays beside me.

"No, that's not what happened." Dee Dee frowned looking between the three of us, "But look at her." Val insisted, "Look at me. I can move. I can feel again. I'm coming back to life. And look at him. He can't move. Help me. Professor? Get me away from him. Please." Hobbes takes Sky's hands and helps her up as I finally plop down next to Theta. Theta keeps repeating her but I grab his face, his eyes slowly look into mine. His voice not his but his eyes were, he was still there. Fighting. Just like the man I love. "Fight, my love. Fight it." I whispered to him as I try to force a connection. "Oh, thank you." He breathes out but it wasn't him, "It's in him. Do you see? I said it was him all the time." I looked towards Biff who flinched slightly under my gaze. "She's free. She's been saved." Rolling my eyes, I turned back to Theta. "Oh, it was so cold. I couldn't breathe. I'm sorry. I must have scared you so much." I almost cried out as I caught a small connection, "No, no, it's all right. I've got you. Ooo, there you are, my love. It's gone. Everything's all right now."

"I wouldn't touch her." Dee Dee stated, my ears listening as my eyes closed to connect, Sky was strong. Whatever she was, I'll give her that. "But it's gone. She's clean. It passed into him." Biff insisted with a scoff. "That's not what happened." Dee Dee insisted, "Thank you for your opinion, Dee, but clearly Mrs Silvestry has been released. Now, what is that woman doing?" I could tell all the attention was back on us again.

"No."

"Just leave her alone. She's safe, isn't she? Professor, it's let her go, hasn't it?"

"I'd say, from observation, the Doctor can't move. And when she was possessed, she couldn't move, so.."

"Well, there we are then. Now the only problem we've got is this Doctor and her." Sky starts to speak again with Theta repeating, "It's inside his head. It killed the driver. And the mechanic. And now it wants us." I know baby, I'm trying to break the connection. Wait for me. "He's waited so long. In the dark. And the cold. And the diamonds. Until you came. Bodies so hot. With blood. And pain." While Theta was repeating, it was his words this time. He was trying to tell me what it was, what it was thinking. He was inside its mind. "Stop. Oh, my God, make him stop. Someone make him stop." Val cried out, "But she's saying it." Dee stated in fact, "And you can shut up." Val hissed in anger, "But it's not him, it's her. He's just repeating."

"But that's what the thing does, it repeats." Biff snapped, "Just let her talk." The Hostess defended Dee, "What do you know? Fat lot of good you've been." I wanted to rip the man apart, my eyes began to glow a red but I needed to stay gold or I would lose the connection I had. "I think. I mean, from what I've seen, it repeats, then it synchronises, then it goes on to the next stage and that's exactly what the Doctor said would happen." Dee tried to explain to everyone, "What, and you're on his side?" Biff snapped in annoyance. Alright Kate. Don't kill anyone. Concentrate on the love of your life. Don't break the connection. Don't kill anyone. "And she's the voice. She stole it. Look at her. It's not possessing him, it's draining him."

"She's got his voice." The Hostess breaths out, as I winced. My eyes opening with a flash of gold as I turned to stare at Sky, your turn. "But that's not true, because it can't. Because I saw it pass into him. I saw it with my own eyes."

"So did I."

"You didn't."

"It went from her, to him. You saw it, didn't you?" Val insisted, looking towards Jethro who shrugged. Sky winced under my presence as she turned to look at me. "You didn't. You're just making it up. I know what I saw, and I saw her stealing his voice." Sky stared me down as I pushed the connection further, you want a fight. You'll get one. "She's as bad as him. Someone shut her up." Hobbes turns to Dee, "I think you should be quiet, Dee." She went to speak but was interrupted again, "And that's an order! You're making a fool of yourself, pretending you're an expert in mechanics and hydraulics, when I can tell you, you are nothing more than average at best. Now shut up."

Sky finally speaks up, "Look that's how he does it. He makes you fight. Creeps into your head. And whispers. He's got her now. Listen. Just listen." She smirks darkly only to grunt when I break throw a secondary barrier. Not so strong now.

"That's him."

"Inside."

"Throw him out."

"Get him out of my head."

"Yeah, we should throw him out." My eyes again flash in anger, "Don't just talk about it, just. You're useless. Do something." Val pushed him, "I will. You watch me. I'm going to throw him out." Biff pushes past me as Val grabs my arm, my connection breaks with Theta but not Sky as I continue to stare at her. "Your next." She hissed, "Yes. Throw him out. Get rid of him." Theta still wasn't there, it was one more block. "Now." Sky smirks at me, I just had to wait. "Now." Biff takes hold of Theta from behind, my eyes shining as he flew back. A shield immediately develops around us as I take him into my arms. It was a weak one, but I was also fighting off whatever this thing was. Everyone stares in shock as I watch them, suddenly something starts hitting my shield. I finally break the connection and turn to see Biff hitting it with rage in his eyes, "Throw him out. Just do it. Throw him out." Val continues to shout as Hobbes is the next to try and break through. I look down at the man I loved, "Theta. Baby." I whispered gently into his ear, "I need you to fight." I started to cry, my powers could only do so much.

Someone had to get rid of her and if I didn't get him safe, this whole place was going to burn.

"Cast him out. Into the sun. And the night." He kept repeating her but I could see it in his eyes, he was still fighting. Now stronger after I broke the two first connections. Letting out a shout, Biff and Hobbes were thrown back again. "Come on. Don't just stand there. Do something." Biff shouted towards Jethro as he stood up, Jethro just rushed forward. His body being allowed inside my shield. "Here. I can try to help." I whimpered lowly as I blocked the view of everyone so he could help. "Do it now. Faster. That's the way. You can do it." Both our eyes glowed gold as I reached for him subconsciously, "Molto bene. Allons-y." Jethro nodded at me, his signal for me to push him out which I did. Val immediately grabbing onto her son in horror. "What did you do to him?! Monster!" I glared back before turning to look down at Theta, just a few more seconds. She'll realize it, and you'll be okay. "That's his voice. She's taken his voice." The Hostess breathed out, "The starlight waits. The emptiness." Val starts hitting the shield this time, "Get him out." She snarled, "The Midnight sky."

"It's her."

"Throw him out."

"She's taken his voice!" The hostess grabs Sky and rushes her towards the entrance door. She presses the button and everyone screams as the bright light floods in. I shout as the pressure wall collapses and everyone is flown against the wall. The release coming to us in waves, I actually started to cry in happiness. The hostess and Sky are sucked out and the door closes. Everyone lowly wakes up as Theta finally let out a deep breath and I pulled him into my lap. Letting out a cry of relief I held him close, "It's gone. It's gone. It's gone, it's gone, it's gone, it's gone. It's gone." He muttered over and over again as I rocked him back and forth. "I said it was her." I sent her a sharp glare before looking away. Jethro moves to sit next to us, his own glare scorching his mother. His eyes flashing, erasing the minds of those who saw and replacing their memories.

Everyone is sitting quietly, "Repeat. Crusader Fifty rescue vehicle coming alongside in three minutes. Door seals set to automatic. Prepare for boarding. Repeat. Prepare for boarding." Theta slowly looks up to everyone, "The hostess. What was her name?" He asked gently, still slightly out of it. "I don't know."

Donna greets Theta with a hug as I go for my baby, "There's my baby girl!" I picked her up pulling her into a hug. Theta chuckled lowly as he watched us before moving over to his us both. We sat down to tell Donna what had happened, "What do you think it was?" She asked looking between us as Thera pulled Fay onto his lap. "No idea." Theta uttered out as he bounced her gently. "Do you think it's still out there?" She paused, staring in silence at the other passengers. "Well, you'd better tell them. This lot." She muttered out with a raised eyebrow, "Yeah. They can build a Leisure Palace somewhere else. Let this planet keep on turning round an Xtonic star, in silence."

"Can't imagine you without a voice."

"Molto bene."

"Molto bene."

"No, don't do that. Don't. Don't."

Later, that night Theta and I were laying in bed. I was leaned against the pillow as he laid on my stomach, my hand running through his hair as I hummed gently. Fay was asleep between us, Theta was trying to get over the events of today as I soothed him. "Marry me?" My eyes shot open as I looked down at him, "Theta." I started causing him to shake his head and look up at me. "No. I want this, I've been meaning to ask but we've been so busy. Please. Say you'll say yes." He watched me with a small smile, I bit back my tears and nodded. "Yes. Of course." He smiled brightly as he leaned up to kiss me. "I don't have a ring yet..." He started slowly causing me to chuckle with a shake of my head.

"It's fine."

"By the way, who was Jethro? Why did you trust him so much?"

"You wouldn't believe me."
