{"Don't worry baby, Daddy will be alright."}

The Tardis lands on the grass verge of a suburban street. "It's fine. Everything's fine. Nothing's wrong, all fine." He spun around, looking towards Fay and I with a nod before he spotted someone. "Excuse me. What day is it?" He asked the milkman who looked back at him like he was crazy. I cocked my head with a raised eyebrow at the scene. "Saturday." Theta nods slowly, coming back over to us. "Saturday. Good. Good, I like Saturdays. Don't I, babygirl?" He cooed at Fay causing the little girl to reach for her father. "So, I just met Rose Tyler?" Donna asked me, a frown on her face as she somewhat remembered what happened. Theta was holding Fay now as I crossed my arms in annoyance. "Yeah." We breathed out at the same time, "But she's locked away in a parallel world." Donna stated in fact with a frown, she knew she didn't like the girl. Even her other self hated her. "Exactly. If she can cross from her parallel world to your parallel world, than that means the walls of the universe are breaking down, which puts everything in danger. Everything. But how?" We all head back into the Tardis.

The bottles on the milk float start to shake alarmingly, and tiles fall off roofs.

I sighed as I moved to put my hair in a ponytail, "The thing is, Doctor, no matter what's happening, and I'm sure it's bad, I get that but, Rose is coming back. Is that good?" Donna looked between us with a frown, "No. It isn't." My eyes widened slightly in shock, he denied it so quickly. Not even a year ago he probably would've been happy. Bang! The Tardis shakes, Theta quickly giving Fay to Donna as I move around the console. "What the hell was that?" She snaps, "Don't know. It came from outside." Theta runs over and opens the doors. There are just a few pieces of space rock floating nearby. "But we're in space. How did that happen? What did you do?" I quickly move to check the scanner readings. That's not possible, "We haven't moved. We're fixed. It can't have. No. The Tardis is still in the same place, but the Earth has gone. The entire planet. It's gone." I breathed out looking towards Theta who stared back with wide eyes. He slowly turns back to face the vast darkness of space where Earth used to be.

Far across the universe, according to the caption, Martha Jones is lying on the upper floor of a skyscraper while sparks and smoke go on around her. "Give me a Sit Rep right now. Confirm all stations still online. Can anyone hear me? Have we got contact with UNIT base Geneva?" A man spoke over the comm system, "What was that?" Martha questions to herself with a frown, "Emergency systems online." She gets up with a small grunt. "Was it some sort of earthquake, or? Jalandra, you all right?" She turns to her crew, "Start the back up generators. Get the unisystem operational. Come on, do it fast." A man answers Martha. "Yeah, I'm okay." He nods back with a stiff smile, "Is anyone hurt? We've lost power. Someone get the lights back on. DaCosta, see to it right now. Suzanne? Are you okay?" Suzanne is staring out of a window.

"Martha, look at the sky."

"Why, what is it?"

"Just look at the sky."

A tremor has throws the furniture around in Cardiff, too. "Whoa, what happened? Was it the Rift? Gwen? Ianto? You okay?" Jack rushes for Ianto who nods back at him with a small smile. "No broken bones. Slight loss of dignity. No change there then." Jack laughed, "The whole of the city must've felt that. The whole of South Wales." Gwen muttered turning to look at them with a raised eyebrow. "I'm going to take a look outside." Jack runs out while Ianto activates a computer screen. "A little bit bigger than South Wales."

Ealing, London.

"Luke, are you all right?" Sarah Jane asked her adopted son who nodded back at his mother. "Felt like some sort of cross-dimensional spatial transference." He muttered out with a frown, "But it's night. It wasn't night. It was eight o'clock in the morning. Mister Smith, I need you." A brick fireplace transforms into a computer. "Can you just stop giving that fanfare? You just tell me what happened." The computer doesn't even pause, "Sarah Jane, I think you should look outside. I think you'll find the visual evidence most conclusive."

Outside the noble's home, "It's gone dark. It's them aliens, I'll bet my pension. What do you want this time, you green swine?" He brandishes his cricket bat. "Dad." Sylvia gapped at the sky in shock, "Look, you get back inside, Sylvia. They always want the women." Wilf waved the bat around some more, not taking notice of the situation. "No, Dad, just look. Oh, my God. Look at the sky."

"That's impossible." Sarah Jane gasped.

"That's just impossible." Jack uttered out in his own shock.

"It can't be." Martha stared wide eyed at the sky.

The milkman turns around to see a blonde woman toting a honking great weapon pop into existence. She looks up, with a smirk. "Right, now we're in trouble." She powers up the gun. "It's only just beginning." Instead of distant stars, the sky is filled with other planets in close proximity.

"But if the Earth's been moved, they've lost the Sun. What about my Mum? And Granddad? They're dead, aren't they? Are they dead?" Donna gapped in horror as she moved around the console with us. Still holding onto Fay,

"I don't know, Donna. I just don't know. I'm sorry, I don't know." Theta told her gently, "That's my family. My whole world." I winced slightly with a sad look, all those people. As much as humans pissed me off, I would never wish upon them what has happened to mine. "There's no readings. Nothing. Not a trace. Not even a whisper. Oh, that is fearsome technology." I speak out with a frown, "Familiar as well." I finish off looking towards Theta. "So what do we do?" Donna asked looking between us, "We've got to get help." I groaned at his words as I gave him a look.

"From where?"

"Donna, I'm taking you to the Shadow Proclamation. Hold tight."

"The United Nations has issued an edict, asking the citizens of the world not to panic. So far, there has been no explanation of the twenty six planets which have appeared in the sky"

"But it's an empirical fact. The planets didn't come to us, we came to them. Just look at the stars. We're in a completely different region of space. We've travelled."

"do you know what, I look up and there's all these moons and things. Have you seen them? Did you see them?"

"Yeah!"

"I thought, what was I drinking last night, furniture polish?"

Ianto laughs with the studio audience. "Ianto. Time and a place." Jack scolds his lover lightly, "He is funny, though." Ianto pouted, "Gwen, come and see."Gwen is phoning her other half. "Rhys, I have no idea. Just stay indoors. And can you phone my mother? Tell her, er, oh, I don't know. Just tell her to take her pills and go to sleep. I'm going to come home as soon as I can, I promise. I love you, you big idiot." She moves over to the boys, "Someone's established an artificial atmospheric shell, keeping the air and holding in the heat." Jack stated in fact, "Whoever's done this wants the human race alive. That's a plus. Twenty seven planets, including the Earth." As the planets on the scan move in their orbits, a flashing red dot appears in the middle. "No, but what's that? That's not a planet."

"The reading seems to be artificial in construction." Mr Smith, the computer explains, "Some sort of space station sitting at the heart of the web." Sarah muttered as her son enters the room. "They're fine. Maria and her dad, they're still in Cornwall. I told them to stay indoors. And Clyde's all right. He's with his mum." Sarah nods in relief, "Sarah Jane, I have detected movement. Observe."

"Spaceships."

Army brass are taking control, "Tracking two hundred objects. Earthbound trajectory. Geneva is calling a Code Red. Everyone to battle positions. Doctor Jones, if you're not too busy." The colonel coming in demands to everyone, before looking at Martha. "I'm trying to phone the Doctor, sir." She responds back, "And?" He questions impatiently with a glare. "There's no signal. This number calls anywhere in the universe. It never breaks down. They must be blocking it, whoever they are." She explains to him, he nods back. "We're about to find out. They're coming into orbit."

People are panicking and looting shops. Young men are driving their cars down the pavements whilst drinking, heedless of the pedestrians in their way. "Yeah, and you, mate!" Rose comes out of a subway, "The end of the world, darling. End of the stinking world." She paused to smirk at the man. "Have one on me, mate." Another shop window breaks and the alarm sounds. Rose goes over to see two lads stealing computers and televisions. "Right, you two. You can put that stuff down or run for your lives. Do you like my gun?" They run. She sits at a screen showing the red blobs approaching Earth.

"We're now getting confirmed reports of spaceships. The Pentagon has issued an emergency report saying that two hundred objects..." Sylvia turns away from the tv, "Dad? Come and see." She calls out, "Are now heading towards Earth in a regular pattern." The news woman continues, "They're saying spaceships. Did you find her?" Sylvia asked in horror, looking at Wilf who looked worried as he held the phone. "Organized flightplan." Wilf moves over to his daughter. "No, no, there's no reply. Where are you, Donna?" He whispered looking at the tv with fear, "And stay indoors."

"Where are you, sweetheart?"

"Three thousand miles and closing. But who are they?" Jack's mobile rings. "Martha Jones, voice of a nightingale. Tell me you put something in my drink." Jack answered with a small smirk, "No such luck. Have you heard from the Doctor?" She responds over the phone, "Not a word. Where are you?" He asked staring at the screen. "New York." He raised an eyebrow, "Ooo, nice for some." He muttered sarcastically, "I've been promoted. Medical Director on Project Indigo." Jack looked slightly shocked at the news. "Did you get that thing working?" Martha frowned, looking around slightly before speaking into the phone. "Indigo's top secret. No one's supposed to know about it."

"I met a soldier in a bar, long story."

"When was that?"

"Strictly professional."

"Fifteen hundred miles, boys, and accelerating. They're almost here."

"I'm receiving a communication from the earthbound ships. They have a message for the human race." Sarah Jane nods, "Put it through, let's hear it." She immediately regrets her decision as does the rest of the world. "Exterminate. Exterminate. Exterminate."

"No." Jack breathed out in horror, "Exterminate. Exterminate." It continues, "Oh, no." Gwen and Ianto look back at him, his eyes filling with tears at the memories. "What is it? Who are they? Do you know them, Jack?" Jack pulls Ianto and Gwen close, and kisses them both. "Exterminate. Exterminate."

"Exterminate. Exterminate. Exterminate."

"No." Sarah cried.

"Exterminate." Jack shakes his head, "There's nothing I can do." He breathed out shaking in fear. "Exterminate." The word was pure torture, "I'm sorry. We're dead."

"Exterminate. Exterminate." Sarah pulls her son close to her chest with her own tears streaming down her face. "Oh God, you're so young."

"Exterminate. Exterminate. Exterminate." Rose goes outside the shop, which is called Megabyte City, to see a massive flying saucer pass overhead, firing at random. She walks away as a bolt takes out a nearby shop. Not even nothing to help the man that had almost gotten blown up, she just didn't care. She wanted to see her Doctor again, and that was her main priority over helping anyone else.

A mega-spaceship that looks more like an asteroid with engines. "Dalek fleet in battle formation." The First Dalek speaks, "All systems locked and primed." A second one announces right after the first. "Crucible at ninety percent efficiency." A three speaks up,

"The human harvest will commence."

"Battle stations! Geneva declaring Ultimate Code Red. Ladies and gentlemen, we are at war." Blasts shake the building. Martha runs to a window to see the saucers shooting at the skyscrapers.

"Supreme Dalek on the bridge." The Red Dalek enters, "Soon the Crucible will be complete. We have waited long for this ultimate destiny. Now the Daleks are the masters of Earth." A lot of Daleks floating in the air surrounding the planets. "Daleks are the masters of Earth. Daleks are the masters of Earth."

"So go on then, what is the Shadow Proclamation anyway?" Donna asked as I grabbed Fay from her, "Posh name for police. Outer space police. Here we go." He winks at me, trying to make light of the situation since he knew I was worried. The Tardis lands in an ordinary looking corridor somewhere in a complex built on three linked asteroids. They are greeted by an armed platoon. "Sco bo tro no flo jo ko fo to to." We pause in silence, "No bo ho sho ko ro to so. Bokodozogobofopojo." The Judoon come to attention. "Moho." Donna stares at him, slightly horrified. We are led into a white room with a staircase, A silver-haired woman in a black gown is pacing. "Time Lords are the stuff of legend. They belong in the myths and whispers of the Higher Species. You cannot possibly exist, especially you, your majesty." She stared at us in disbelief and shock. She bows to me, I nod in return. "Yeah. More to the point, I've got a missing planet." Theta steps forward as we finish introductions. "Then you're not as wise as the stories would say. The picture is far bigger than you imagine. The whole universe is in outrage, Doctor. Twenty four worlds have been taken from the sky."

"How many? Which ones? Show me" He joins the woman at her computer screen. "Locations range far and wide, but all disappeared at the exact same moment, leaving no trace." She explains as Donna and I move over as well, the woman pausing to stare at Fay. "Callufrax Minorr. Jahoo. Shallacatop. Woman Wept. Clom. Clom's gone? Who'd want Clom?" He scrunched up his face in dislike. "All different sizes. Some populated, some not. But all unconnected." She states, "What about Pyrovillia?" Donna asked looking at her, I raise an eyebrow. Good question. "Who is the female?" The woman eyed Donna up and down, "Donna. I'm a human being. Maybe not the stuff of legend but every bit as important as Time Lords, thank you. Way back, when we were in Pompeii, Lucius said Pyrovillia had gone missing."

"Pyrovillia is cold case. Not relevant."

"How do you mean, cold case?"

"The planet Pyrovillia cannot be part of this. It disappeared over two thousand years ago."

"Yes, yes, hang on. But there's the Adipose breeding planet, too. Miss Foster said that was lost, but that must've been a long time ago."

"That's it! Donna, brilliant. Planets are being taken out of time as well as space. Let's put this into 3-D."Holograms of the missing planets start to fill the room. "Now, if we add Pyrovillia and Adipose Three. Something missing. Where else, where else, where else? Where else lost, lost, lost, lost. Oh! The Lost Moon of Poosh." With the last sphere added, the representations suddenly reorganise themselves. My eyes widened at Donna's suggestions, she figured it out before we did. "What did you do?" The white haired woman asked, I just smiled with a shake of my head. "She's brilliant!" I praised, Donna blushed shaking her head. "Nothing. The planets rearranged themselves into the optimum pattern. Oh, look at that. Twenty seven planets in perfect balance. Come on, that is gorgeous."

"Oi, don't get all spaceman. What does it mean?" Donna asked as Theta stared at the screen in shock. "All those worlds fit together like pieces of an engine. It's like a powerhouse. What for?" He asked with a frown, but it seemed familiar to me. Why? "Who could design such a thing?" The white haired woman asked, "Someone tried to move the Earth once before. Long time ago. Can't be." I cocked my head as my stomach turned. "Please don't let it be them?" I muttered back in slight horror.

Flying Daleks attack the Valiant, "Maximum extermination." The Captain of the ship is the only one thing team torchwood could hear. "The shields are down. There's too many of them. Abandon ship." Jack growled in annoyance, "The Valiant's down!" He shouted in anger. "Air force retreating over North Africa. Daleks landing in Japan." Ianto announces from another computer. "We've lost contact with the Prime Minister's plane. Jack! Manhattan." Gwen moved over to him in a rush handing him the phone.

"Martha, get out of there."

In New York, Martha is bandaging a wounded man's head. "I can't, Jack. I've got a job to do." She responds, using her earpiece.

"They're targeting military bases and you're next on the list."

She paused to look around, only to be summoned by her military boss. "Doctor Jones, you will come with me. Project Indigo is being activated. Quick march." Her eyes widened as she followed after them in shock, "But we can't use Project Indigo. It hasn't been tested, sir. We don't even know if it works." Jack listens in as the continued down the hall. A UNIT soldier opens a storage unit to reveal a backpack with a keypad on it. "Put it on. Fast as you can." Her commander demands, "Martha, I'm telling you. Don't use Project Indigo. It's not safe." Jack warns in horror, at the very thought of using the machine. "You take your orders from UNIT, Doctor Jones. Not from Torchwood." Martha puts on the backpack, "But why me?" She snaps in annoyance, a glare on her face. "You're our only hope of finding the Doctor. But failing that, if no help is coming, then with the power invested in me by the Unified Intelligence Taskforce, I authorise you to take this. The Osterhagen Key." He holds up a computer chip.

"I can't take that, sir." She breaths out staring at it in horror, "You know what to do, for the sake of the human race." Martha finally takes it as the building shakes.

"Daleks one five reaching north corridor."

"Exterminate. Exterminate."

"Doctor Jones, good luck."

"Exterminate. Exterminate. Exterminate." The General and the soldier face the Daleks. "Exterminate."

"Bye, Jack." Martha breaths out with her eyes closed. "Martha, don't do it!"Martha pulls two ripcords on the backpack and vanishes in a bright light as the General and the soldier die. "Don't!" It was too late, "What's Project Indigo?" Ianto asked Jack, looking towards the man who stared at the phone in disbelief. "Experimental teleport salvaged from the Sontarans. But they haven't got coordinates, or stabilisation." He explains to his lover, "So where is she?" Gwen asks, "Scattered into atoms. Martha's down."

"Commence the landings. Bring the humans here. Prepare the Crucible."

"Supreme Dalek, is there news?"

"Earth has been subjugated." A humanoid figure in a Dalek style wheelchair moves forward out of the shadows. "I mean, is there news of him?" He spoke, "Negative. No reports of Time Lord. We are beyond the Doctor's reach." The Red Dalek spoke in a deep voice, "Fascinating. If I had not elevated you beyond crude emotions, I could almost mistake that tone for one of victory. Beware your pride." The skeleton of a man snapped, "The Doctor cannot stop us." The Red Dalek spoke confidently. "And yet, Dalek Caan is uneasy." He flicks a switch to light up the chained remains of a Dalek casing containing an active mutant.

"The abomination is insane." The Red Dalek, hissed in distaste. "Show respect. Without Dalek Caan, none of this would be possible. And he speaks only the truth." Skeleton Man demanded in anger, "He is coming, the threefold man. He dances in the lonely places. Oh, creator of us all, the Doctor is coming with his Princess, the destroyer. Tee hee hee hee..."

Donna is sitting on the stairs while the Architect, Kate and The Doctor confer. She hears a heartbeat pounding. A white-haired, pink eyed young woman offers a tray. "You need sustenance. Take the water, it purifies." Her name is literally Albino, "Thanks." She smiled at the woman. "There was something on your back." Donna looked at her with a slight glare, "How do you know that?" She asked trying to figure out how she knew what happened. "You are something new." Albino spoke gently, with a cock of her head. "Not me. I'm just a temp. Shorthand, filing, hundred words per minute. Fat lot of good that is now. I'm no use to anyone."

"I'm so sorry for your loss."

"Yeah. My whole planet's gone."

"I mean the loss that is yet to come. God save you." The servant goes up the stairs.

Theta and I walk over to Donna, who was staring up at the stairs with a frown. I watched her for a second, looking up the stairs to see a woman watching me. I raised an eyebrow and she rushed away, "Donna, come on, think. Earth. There must've been some sort of warning. Was anything happening back in your day, like electrical storms, freak weather, patterns in the sky?" Theta asked her as he watched her, I watched them silently as Fay slept in my arms. "Well, how should I know? Er, no. I don't think so, no." She shook her head, "Oh, okay, never mind." He hummed lightly. "Although, there were the bees disappearing." He cocked his head, thinking for a second. "The bees disappearing. The bees disappearing. The bees disappearing!" He shouted as the white haired woman appeared beside me.

"How is that significant?" She asked, Theta slightly jumped not noticing her at first. "On Earth we had these insects. Some people said it was pollution or mobile phone signals." Donna explained to her, "Or, they were going back home." I spoke up, my eyebrows furrowing in thought. Home. "Back home where?" Donna asked me, "Planet Melissa Majoria." I spoke in response, "Are you saying bees are aliens?" She asked in shock, I let out a small laugh. "Don't be so daft. Not all of them. But if the migrant bees felt something coming, some sort of danger, and escaped? Tandocca." Theta hums gently as he wraps an arm around me. "The Tandocca Scale." The Architect nods with him, "Tandocca Scale is the series of wavelengths used as a carrier signals by migrant bees. Infinitely small. No wonder we didn't see it. It's like looking for a speck of cinnamon in the Sahara, but look, there it is. The Tandocca trail. The transmat that moved the planets was using the same wavelength, we can follow the path."

"And find the Earth?. Well, stop talking and do it."

"I am."

We head back to the Tardis, rather quickly. "We're a bit late. The signal's scattered, but it's a start." Theta puts his head out of the Tardis door. "I've got a blip. It's just a blip, But it's definitely a blip." The Architect glared at him, "Then according to the Strictures of the Shadow Proclamation, I will have to seize your transport and your technology." I scoffed with an eye roll, what is with people/aliens trying to take the Tardis. "Oh, really? What for?" He asked in confusion, "The planets were stolen with hostile intent. We are declaring war, Doctor, right across the universe, and you will lead us into battle." I scoff again, yeah right. "Right. Yes. Course I will. I'll just go and get you the key." He closes the door and nods at me, I nod back and pull the lever down. The Tardis dematerializes, "Doctor, come back! By the Holy Writ of the Shadow Proclamation, I order you to stop!"

"All humans will leave their homes. The males, the females, the descendants. You will come with us. Resistance is useless."

"Where are you taking us?"

"Daleks do not answer human questions. Stand in line." Wilf and Sylvia are watching from the corner. "Dad, please, come home. They're leaving our street alone." Sylvia tries to pull her father inside. "Yeah, I've got a weapon." Wilf hissed, his marine instincts kicking in. "It's a paint gun." His daughter hissed back in disbelief, "Exactly. Them Dalek things, they've only got one eye. A good splodge of paint, they'd be blinded." He smirks in confidence, "We're not going. Do you hear me? Laura, get back inside the house. Simon, get inside. Go!" The man picks up a house brick and throws it at the Dalek. "Get back in the sky."Clang as the brick bounces off the Dalek. "Get back where you came from and leave us alone." He joins his wife and son inside their home. "Dalek attack formation seven. Maximum extermination."

Three Daleks fire at the terraced house and it goes up in a fireball. "They're monsters." Wilf gasps, his confidence slowly withering. "Please, Dad. Come home." They leave, and run into a lone Dalek. "Halt. You will come with me." The Dalek demanded, "Will I heck." He fires a splodge of yellow paint right onto the eyestalk. After a moment, it is boiled off. "My vision is not impaired." The Dalek states in its own confidence, "I warned you, Dad." Sylvia cried as she hid behind her father. "Hostility will not be tolerated. Exterminate. Exterminate. Exter..." The Dalek's head explodes. Rose is standing behind it holding a honking big gun. "Do you want to swap?" Wilf asked her, she just glares slightly in annoyance. "You're Donna Noble's family, right? I'm Rose Tyler, and I need you."

"Yeah, I've tried calling her, but I can't get through. But she's still with the Doctor and Kate, I know that much, and the last time she phoned, it was from a planet called Midnight, made of diamonds." Wilf explained to Rose who didn't care much about Donna just The Doctor. "What the hell are you two on about?" Sylvia snaps at her father, "Look, she's out there, sweetheart. Your daughter. She's travelling the stars with that Doctor, his wife and there child. She always has been." Rose's head snapped towards Wilf, Kate was still with him and that inbred. "Don't be ridiculous." Sylvia scoffed at her father, "Oh, come on, open your eyes. Look at the sky. Look at, look at the Daleks. You can't start denying things now." Rose sighed standing to attention facing the man. "You're my last hope. If we can't find Donna, can't find the Doctor. Where is he?"

The time rotor stops wheezing, "It's stopped." Theta and I mutter together, "What do you mean? Is that good or bad? Where are we?" Donna asked looking between us. "The Medusa Cascade. I came here when I was just a kid, ninety years old. It was the centre of a rift in time and space. Kate couldn't come, but she mentally connected with me while I was there."

It is a multi-coloured nebula. "So, where are the twenty seven planets?" Donna asked looking at the screen in confusion. "Nowhere. The Tandocca Trail stops dead. End of the line." I breathed out with a shrug, "So what do we do? Kate, Doctor, what do we do? Now don't do this to me. No, don't. Don't do this to me. Not now. Tell me, what are we going do? You never give up. Please."

Everyone is just sitting, listening. "This is the Commander General of the United Nations calling the Dalek Fleet. We surrender. Repeat, we surrender. Planet Earth surrenders." Jack shakes his head, "Humans selected for testing will follow Dalek instructions. The Daleks reign supreme. All hail the Daleks. You will obey Dalek instructions without question. You will obey your Dalek ma..." Beep, beep, beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep, beep. "Can anyone hear me? The Subwave Network is open. You should be able to hear my voice Is there anyone there?" A static ridden picture comes on the laptop screen, Rose's eyes widened as she stared at the nobles computer in shock. "I know that voice."

"Who's that?" Luke asked his mother as they also listened in on the incoming call. "Some poor soul calling for help." Sarah Jane shrugged sadly, "Can anyone hear me?" Harriet's voice continued to come through. "There's nothing we can do." She breathed out with a shake of her head. "But look at Mister Smith." Luke pointed, "Processing incoming Subwave."

"This message is of the utmost importance. We haven't much time. Can anyone hear me?" Her voice continues to repeat, "Someone's trying to get in touch." Gwen stated as she turns to Jack. "The whole world's crying out. Just leave it." The image starts to resolve into color and it shows Harriet Jones. "Captain Jack Harkness, shame on you. Now stand to attention, sir." He moves over to the screen with a frown. "What? Who is that?" Harriet holds up her ID. "Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister." He rolled his eyes, "Yeah, I know who you are."

Jack's voice is in the background of Harriet's image. "Harriet, it's me. It's me. Oh, she can't hear me. Have you got a webcam?" She looked at the father who shook his head. "No, she wouldn't let me. She said they're naughty." Rose scoffed with a growl of annoyance. "I can't speak to her then, can I?" She snapped in anger.

"Sarah Jane Smith, 13 Bannerman Road. Are you there?" Sarah Jane stares in shock for a second before rushing to the screen and clicking a button. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm here. That, that's me." She responded, "Good. Now let's see if we can talk to each other." Three images come up on the four quarters of the screen - Harriet, Jack, Sarah and Luke and static. "The fourth contact seems to be having some trouble getting through."

"That's me. Harriet, that's me." Rose grabs the screen.

"I'll just boost the signal." Harriet clicks a few buttons before Martha shows up on screen. "Hello?" She looks slightly confused for a second. "Ha, ha! Martha Jones." Jack laughs happily as he spins Ianto around, glad that she was alive.

"Who's she? I want to get through." Rose snarls in anger and jealousy at the screen.

"Martha, where are you?" Jack asked in confusion, "I guess Project Indigo was more clever than we thought. One second I was in Manhattan, next second. Maybe Indigo tapped into my mind, because I ended up in the one place that I wanted to be." She ended up at home with her family. "You came home. At the end of the world, you came back to me." Her mother showed up on the screen with a small smile. "But then all of a sudden, it's like the laptop turned itself on." Harriet nodded, "It did. That was me. Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister." She holds up her badge, "Yes, I know who you are." Martha smiles with a small laugh. "I thought it was about time we all met. Given the current crisis. Torchwood, this is Sarah Jane Smith." Jack nodded with his own smile at the woman. "Kate told me about you, I've been following your work ever since. Nice job with the Slitheen." Sarah blushed at the thought of Kate mentioning her to others.

"Yeah, well, I've been staying away from you lot. Too many guns." She nods towards young Luke. "All the same, might I say looking good, ma'am?" A usually he flirts, "Really? Ooo." Harriet rolls her eyes, "Not now, Captain. And Martha Jones, former companion to the Doctor."

"Oi. So was I." Rose snarls from her screen, her eyes looking Martha up and down in judgment.

"But how did you find me?" Martha asked, no one having any clue Rose was listening. "This, ladies and gentlemen, this is the Subwave Network. A sentient piece of software programmed to seek out anyone and everyone who can help to contact the Doctor." She explained to everyone, "What if the Daleks can hear us?" Martha asked with a raised eyebrow in concern. "No, that's the beauty of the Subwave. It's undetectable." Harriet smiled proudly, "And you invented it?" Sarah Jane asked cocking her head. "I developed it. It was created by the Mister Copper Foundation." She explained more, "Yeah, but what we need right now is a weapon. Martha, back there at UNIT, what, what did they give you? What was that key thing?" Martha paused with a frown at his question, "The Osterhagen key." Harriet frowned and shook her head. "That key is not to be used, Doctor Jones. Not under any circumstances."

"But what is an Osterhagen key?"

"Forget about the key, and that's an order. All we need is the Doctor."

"Only, excuse me, Harriet, but. Well, the thing is, if you're looking for the Doctor, didn't he depose you? Also, his wife Kate is with him, Queen of Gallifrey." Harriet nodded, remembering the woman she had met once. Rose scoffed from her screen, "Not much of one." She snipped angrily crossing her arms. "He did. And I've wondered about that for a long time, whether I was wrong. But I stand by my actions to this day, because I knew, I knew that one day, the Earth would be in danger, and the Doctor would fail to appear. I told him so myself, and he didn't listen." Martha shook her head, "But I've been trying to find him. The Doctor's got my phone on the Tardis, but I can't get through."

"Nor me, and I was here first." Rose growled.

"That's why we need the Subwave. To bring us all together. Combine forces. The Doctor's secret army." Everyone silently agreed, "Wait a minute. We boost the signal. That's it. We transmit that telephone number through Torchwood itself, using all the power of the Rift." Jack suggested, his eyes widened in realization. "And we've got Mister Smith. He can link up with every telephone exchange on the Earth. He can get the whole world to call the same number, all at the same time. Billions of phones, calling out all at once." Luke suggested as everyone listened in agreement. "Brilliant. Who's the kid?" Jack asked, smiling at the boy. "That's my son." Sarah Jane hugged him happily causing him to laugh.

"Excuse me. Sorry. Sorry. Hello. Ianto Jones. Er, if we start Transmitting, then this Subwave Network is going to become visible. I mean, to the Daleks."

"Yes, and they'll trace it back to me. But my life doesn't matter. Not if it saves the Earth." Jack salutes in respect at her response. "Ma'am." She smiles back at him, "Thank you, Captain. But there are people out there dying on the streets. Now, enough of words. Let's begin." Everyone nods, ready to begin. "Rift power activated." Jack announces, "All terminals coordinated." Ianto plugs in a big power cable. "National grid online. Giving you everything we've got." Sarah nods as she works on the computer. "Connecting you to Mister Smith." Luke helps his mother, "All telephone networks combined." Martha nods from her side, "Sending you the number now." Calling 07700 900461, everyone grabs there phones. "Opening Subwave Network to maximum."

"Mister Smith, make that call."

"Calling the Doctor."

"So am I." Rose muttered.

"And sending." Circles of energy pulse out from the ornamental waterfall in Roald Dahl Plass.

The Tardis phone rings, "Phone!" Theta and I spoke together as I handed Fay to Donna. "Doctor, phone." She uttered out, "Martha, is that you?" He frowns after a second before looking up at me with wide eyes. "It's a signal." I state in fact with a smile, you brilliant humans. "Can we follow it?" Theta dons his stethoscope. "Oh, just watch me." He winks at me as he rushed by, giving me a quick kiss.

"Emergency. Unknown network detected. Subwave frequency." A Dalek announces throughout the main ship, "Find the point of origin. Find and exterminate." The Red Dalek demanded, "I warned you, Supreme One. Just as Dalek Caan foretold. The Children of Time are moving against us. But everything is falling into place."

Things are going Bang! with the energy overload. "I think we've got a fix." Jack shouts, "Mister Smith now at two hundred per cent." Bang! Sparks. "Oh, come on, Doctor." Rose, Wilf and Sylvia are using their mobile phones too.

"Find me, Doctor. Find me." Rose demands in a whisper.

"Got it. Locking on." Theta and I work together to pilot the Tardis within the walls of the dimensions.

"Harriet, a saucer's locked on to your location. They've found you." Gwen announces to Harriet who takes a deep breath. "I know. I'm using the Network to mask your transmission. Keep going." She demands with seemingly no fear in her voice. "Exterminate." The curtains blow in from an explosion.

Bangs and flames are coming out of the console, sorry Sexy. "We're travelling through time. One second in the future. The phone call's pulling us through." I announced as Donna moved to the seat, making sure to keep Fay as safe as possible.

"Captain, I'm transferring the Subwave Network to Torchwood. You're in charge now. And tell the Doctor from me, He chose his companions well. It's been an honour." Harriet gets up to face the three Daleks who have smashed their way in, and shows her ID. "Harriet Jones. Former Prime Minister." She announces, "Yes, we know who you are." The Dalek responded causing her to pause in slight shock. "Oh, you know nothing of any human, and that will be your downfall." She glared, her finale stand for the world. "Exterminate." The first quarter of the screen dissolves into static.

"Three, two, one." Theta quickly grabs Fay and I to hold us in protection. Donna screams as the planets pop into existence around us. The Tardis stops shaking, "Twenty seven planets. And there's the Earth. But why couldn't we see them?" Donna asked with a frown, "The entire Medusa Cascade has been put a second out of sync with the rest of the universe. Perfect hiding place. Tiny little pocket of time. But we found them. Ooo, ooo, ooo, what's that? Hold on, hold on. Some sort of Subwave Network." We take the last quarter of the screen, rest in piece Harriet Jones. "Where the hell have you been?" Jack snaps as he stares us down. "Doctor, it's the Daleks." A black haired woman smirks but doesn't seem very interested. "Oh, he's a bit nice. I thought he'd be older." She mutters, checking Theta out who looks slightly uncomfortable and hides behind me. I let out a small laugh, I wasn't worried. "He's not that young." The other man stated as he stood next to Jack, rather closely.

"It's the Daleks. They're taking people to their spaceship." Sarah stated from her screen, Martha speaking up right after her. "It's not just Dalek Caan."

"Sarah Jane. Who's that boy? That must be Torchwood. Oh, they're brilliant." Theta turns to me excitedly to see his human family. I watch happily that he was happy, "Look at you all, you clever people." I breathed out to every who smiles back at me. Donna smiles at the sight of Martha, "That's Martha. And who's he?" Donna points to the Captain with a smirk, "Captain Jack. Don't. Just don't." Jack smiles at me, as I winked back with a laugh. "It's like an outer space Facebook." Donna laughs at the concept.

"Everyone's here!" He smiled happily at everyone on the screen who smiled back. "Hi baby, Fay!" Martha and Jack cooed allowing me to give a laugh as I showed her to everyone else. The scanner goes blank, Theta blinks. "Oh." He mutters slightly upset about the loss. "We've lost them." Donna uttered out, "No, no, no, no, no. There's another signal coming through. There's someone else out there. Hello? Can you hear me?" While we weren't sure who else would try and contact us, we sure as hell didn't like who we got. "Your voice is different, and yet its arrogance is unchanged. Welcome to my new Empire, Princess, Doctor. It is only fitting that you should bear witness to the resurrection and the triumph of Davros, lord and creator of the Dalek race." It was him, the one who created the Daleks. The man who created pure hate out of nothing and sent them to destroy our home. "It's Queen." I snarled at the screen causing him to laugh. "Doctor?" Donna whispered gently to Theta, I held Fay tightly as Theta's eyes turned dark. "Have you nothing to say?" Davros taunted, "Doctor, it's all right. We're, we're in the Tardis. We're safe." Donna breathed out as grabbed my hand.

"But you were destroyed. In the very first year of the Time War, at the Gates of Elysium. I saw your command ship fly into the jaws of the Nightmare Child. I tried to save you." My head turned to Theta as I stared at him, he tried to save Davros? I mean I knew that who he was but it still slightly pissed me off, while I was fighting on the front for our people, he was saving the man who destroyed our home. "But it took one stronger than you. Dalek Caan himself." Cann soon spoke up, "I flew into the wild and fire. I danced and died a thousand times." He began to cackle, I cringed as Fay started to cry. He paused when I glared at him, "Sorry." I huffed as I shushed Fay while Davros began to speak once again. "Emergency Temporal Shift took him back into the Time War itself." Davros explained, "But that's impossible. The entire War is timelocked." I snipped in anger, "And yet he succeeded. Oh, it cost him his mind, but imagine. A single, simple Dalek succeeded where Emperors and Time Lords have failed. A testament, don't you think, to my remarkable creations?" He raised his hands out to his new army.

"And you made a new race of Daleks." Theta stated in annoyance with the monster. "I gave myself to them, quite literally. Each one grown from a cell of my own body." Davros opens his tunic to reveal his bare ribs with just a few nerve endings over them, and his internal organs inside. "New Daleks. True Daleks. I have my children, Doctor. What do you have, now?" My face scrunched up in disgust, "After all this time, everything we saw, everything we lost, I have only one thing to say to you. Bye!" He throws a lever and the Tardis flies off.

When landed on earth, the one where Donna was supposed to get married. The correct Earth. "Like a ghost town." Donna uttered as we stepped out, she held Fay for me just in case. We had a safe plan and if need be she would be okay with Donna. "Sarah Jane said they were taking the people. What for? Think, Donna. When you met Rose in that parallel world, what did she say?"

"Just, the darkness is coming."

"Anything else?"

"Why don't you ask her yourself?" Rose is walking down the street towards us, the moment we turn around she takes off running. Theta watches as she runs with a disappointed and upset look, "Exterminate." I heard it before I saw it hiding off to the side, the aim was right at Theta. The Dalek's ray grazes the Theta, but still lights him up and knocks him down. I shout in horror, Jack appears and blasts the Dalek. I lean down as tears welded up in my eyes, "No baby. You're okay." I uttered out as he grabbed my hand tightly.

"I've got you. It missed you. Look, it's me, Doctor." Rose stated as she pushed me over, Donna who was still holding Fay gapped in shock as Jack came rushing up as well. "Kate." He called causing Rose to shoot me a nasty glare, "Get him into the Tardis, quick. Move." I ushered as we began moving him inside.

"What, what do we do? There must be some medicine or something." Donna started to freak as Jack paused looking at the child in her hands before he grabbed her and pulled her back. "Just step back. Rose, do as I say, and get back. He's dying and you know what happens next." Jack explained as I held Theta up, I nodded at him with a reassuring smile. He leaned his head against mine, I could tell he was scared but I had to be brave for him. We leaned in for a kiss, my hands ending up on his cheeks. "What do you mean? He can't." Donna asked causing us to pull away, "Oh, no. I came all this way. Kate, get off him!" She lunged for us but Jack held her back.

"What do you mean, what happens next?" Theta's right hand begins to glow, "It's starting. Quickly bring Fay." Donna nodded as she brought our daughter over. Rose glared in hatred as Jack and Donna watched our moment, "Don't worry baby, daddy will be alright." He cooed at her causing her to smile at him, her tiny hand reaching up as he gave it a kiss. Closing his eyes he kissed her forehead before nodding to me. I slowly backed away, Fay reaching for her father as I put my shield up.

"Here we go. Good luck, Doctor."

"Will someone please tell me what is going on?"

"When he's dying, his er, his body, it repairs itself. It changes. But you can't!"

"I'm sorry, it's too late. I'm regenerating."

One more chapter until the end of Season Four.

What do you guys think will happen?

Also, I'm think of unpublishing my other two Doctor Who books, Colors and Darkened Wolf but I wanted to know what you guys thought.

I just haven't had much time for them and I want to rewrite them now that I've gotten better at writing but I didn't know if I should keep them and move on further with newer chapters or take them down an rewrite all together.

I also had a small idea to have Rose and River be the same person, maybe Rose was a regeneration before Mels, or another timeline River.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thank you all for the love and support!
